it's curious that the quarry goes so hard on ryan's friendship with kaylee and caleb when the player never even meets the siblings.

ryan seems bummed he couldn't say goodbye to them. he comes to their defense when people insinuate they're a little weird. you can find a photo of the three of them. clearly they're close - or at least, one of ryan's stronger bonds at camp.

later, kaylee's death makes ryan way less trusting of laura - not to mention it causes constance to throw "no more blood on our hands" out the window and decide she doesn't actually give a shit if the counselors live or die.

that death is a big moment, and i think it'd hit harder if supermassive actually let me get to know the girl.
