I'd love to hear your full thoughts on Bakugou. Shinsou too, though I suppose there's less to say about him
Hmm. The thing is with Bakugou is that I did actually post about him, months ago. I submitted it to that Anonymous Bakugou Hot Takes thing, long before I ever made this blog. It's not that I can't make a new post (and probably a better one? I'll admit that one had a lot more 'angry screaming' in it than I'm trying to actually put in these, and I think all this writing is helping me improve), but I kinda need to reorient my mindset so I don't just rewrite it, if that makes sense. So not now, but at some point in the near future, probably yeah.
Meanwhile, can I offer you some Shinsou analysis in these trying times?
Alright, here's the first thing: a lot of people who are reading this will have likely read some fanfiction, and seen Shinso there. There, you will learn that he's a sad, sad child, bullied by his classmates for his villainous Quirk, probably abused by his parents, and the only people who have ever thought well of him are Izuku and Aizawa.
Picture him in your mind. Place your hands on his shoulders firmly. Now, I want you to YEET HIM. Yeet him from your mind, from your memories, from your biases, from your basic understanding of his character. Fanon Shinsou is a fucking lie, and I want you to yeet those lies from your mind.
Let's sum up canon: First off, he's part of the mob of people who come to gawk at 1A for being almost murdered for having the guts to, gasp, go on a field trip. (I have never once been impressed by the crowd, as you might have guessed. Everyone is convinced that 1A is... bragging? You know, by just never mentioning it until someone else brings it up? Bragging about how a group of terrorists came to murder them, and how a lot of them almost died?)
Here, Bakugou makes an ass of himself, you know, as usual, and everyone, including Class 1B, who canonly just another hero class, thinks that he speaks for everyone, somehow. Having gained a bad impression of, not just 1A, but all heroics classes (even though we literally have Tetsutetsu from B, who says he's from B, go 'dude what the fuck' a minute later) Shinsou proceeds to go, 'I WILL DESTROY YOUUUUUU!!!!!' which is... you know, great. We get a bad first impression of him because he's honestly being almost as much of a dick as Bakugou.
Shinsou. You never want to, on any level, have your attitude be like Bakugou. The bar was near the damn ground, but you burrowed under it anyways. For shame, Shinsou, for shame.
Then we get to Sports Festival, where most of his screen time is, and he starts off by getting upset how UA is upping the brand for the hero students and 1A especially, which... alright, let's take a brief break for a public service announcement:
Fuck the Sports Festival. No, seriously, fuck the Sports Festival. It's stupid, it's bad for the students, it's just... no. Why is this a thing? Outside of giving Izuku more PANIK, I guess?
Only UA does this, and when UA was the best of the best of the best, SIR of schools that was..., actually it wasn't any better then, but it was somewhat more understandable. Then Shiketsu, UA's (theoretical, since we've never actually seen them live up to their hype, since they stopped existing after the licensing exams) equal, suddenly exists, and now you have to wonder why UA, of all schools, is the only one who does this. And it's somehow equal to the Olympics...? What, seriously? Are you saying every country watches this? Or that every sport has just never updated to really include Quirks? Or that all the sports obsessed fans are just going to forsake their obsession because HeRoS? Dial it back, Hori.
Beyond how over inflated it is... it's blood sports. The two of the three events center around high schoolers attacking each other, and the first includes it organically as a method of success. I doubt any of the other options we don't see are any better. All these people, all over Japan, or the world even, tune in to watch actual children hurt each other.
Best, or worst, of all, is it's clearly just a symptom of the over-celebritization of heroes that MHA pretends to talk about sometimes; really, the main reason this event exists is just to raise public hype, to sell the students as products to the public. The interning heroes could just... watch a private version of this, that isn't televised to the entire world, displaying the students strengths and weaknesses, humiliating the losers and denying the victors any privacy as soon as they leave their homes, because they don't even gets masks.
Now back to your regularly scheduled ranting.
Alright, so Shinsou deals with the race by... being carried around like a king. On an objective level, this is minimal effort for him, so he has more energy for him, so it's logical (or Aizawa style 'logical', more in a moment). On a more practical level, this fool child clearly hasn't realized that he needs to promote himself to the other heroes; any of them that see that are going to think he's just fucking lazy. On a Real Talk level, I don't think he could have passed if he actually tried to attempt it normally, because he's clearly not used to, you know. Using his body, judging by how much he flailed once he Quirk failed him later. As he tries to become a hero. Big Brain Move, there, Shinsou. (although I feel I should mention that there's like, four people just holding him up and walking? Maybe running? Every one of those barriers would have hard countered that, and his Quirk would do nothing to stop robots, tightropes, and a minefield. I'm honestly surprised he managed to pass at all, really; that can't have been fast. I suppose Hori didn't actually think about that, and he needed Shinsou to pass, so he passed, but his strategy is pretty dumb, just saying).
So, here's the thing about Shinsou: until now, he's mainly been comprised of bad judgement calls, making bad assumptions, and being rude. Not actually that big a deal, really. The Cavalry Battle is where we realize he's kind of an asshole.
He brainwashes his own teammates. Not because they don't work well together, not to make them, like 'coordinate' better like he's a hivemind (he doesn't work like that), not because they're enemies, but because... he can, I guess. Actually, there's a question of here if they even decided to team with him at all, or he just talked to the people he wanted and brainwashed them; I don't see anything that clears that up either way.
And that's the problem with Shinsou: he doesn't see a problem with doing that, with controlling the people around him, not even for an advantage, but just because he has that choice. And that's fucked up.
Worse, from what we've seen, him trying to talk to Izuku before hand? Is an attempt to plant his Quirk. Which I'm pretty sure is blatantly against the rules, but no one noticed it, and Hori doesn't see any problems with it, so the narrative shows this and everything else he does as him just being 'resourceful', instead of cruel or arrogant.
It's worse when you realize he has this... self-imposed victim complex, that he has it so hard. And how does he decide this? By what Quirks people have. Izuku has a strong Quirk, so his life must have been perfect, right?
*cue flashbacks to Izuku's entire life*
Yeah, the funny thing is? Shinsou is unironically Quirkest. He thinks the only reason anyone passes or fails anything is whether or not they had a good Quirk or not.
This is doubly ironic, because fanon Shinsou has everyone be Quirkest to him. But let's look at that flashback: he has people talking to him, that are at least friendly. One person says they're afraid, but right before they said that, one guy says he's jealous. The second flash back in A vs B has someone joking about being afraid of him.
Everyone we see now? Not one person is afraid. Even back then, no one is mentioning a 'villainous' Quirk, just that it's strong. Strong like Bakugou, who also had people afraid of him. It's just that Shinsou took at as a personal affront, and Bakugou liked it.
Really, the biggest thing we've seen Shinsou suffer from from his Quirk is it just matched badly with the UA Entrance Exam. Everything else, all the dislike he gets? It's because he's an asshole ("everyone here is an obstacle"), and uses his Quirk to use people. He plays down to the expectations he thinks people have of him, and so plays himself by making them think that way. Sasuga, Shinsou!
Beyond that... when you look at 'good' and 'bad' Quirks like he does? He has one of those good ones; every time someone talks about it it's just, 'Damn, that sounds useful'. His classmates liked it. The Heroes like it. The Hero classes like it. Every time someone's not directly threatened by it or were directly harmed (and sometimes even then anyways), they only sing its praises. Where is all this hate about Brainwash?
You've got to wonder if the reason he's so salty is that he knows that, knows he 'should' have passed with his 'good' Quirk, and took the fact he couldn't use it in the exam as a personal insult.
Fanon Shinsou just comes from someone who implied a bad experience, implied but never actually showed it happening, and then the fandom went fucking nuts off it. This escalated, and spread, until if you only know the fanfics (and I know one person who only reads MHA fanfics) then you'd think it's canon he spent his childhood loathed, spat on, and his parents put him in a muzzle.
But he's not. Ultimately, he's just one of many hollow characters in the series, ones that it's clear that will never actually be covered in any real depth.

Danger First Chapter 13
@pocketramblr
Thank you for everyone who suggested names! They were very helpful for this chapter.
.
Midoriya Hisashi lived and worked overseas, coming home to Japan only rarely.  His job had bounced him to every continent, and he’d even been to Antarctic City.  It was taxing work, but he enjoyed it, and, most importantly, it allowed him to provide for his beautiful wife and wonderful son, who he loved more than anyone or anything else in the entire world.
That description was true except for one desperately important point: Midoriya Hisashi did not so much have a job as a sprawling criminal empire.
But sprawling criminal empires sure were hard work!
Especially when you had your face literally punched off by your unfortunately-smarter-than-he-looked heroic nemesis.  Curse All Might, his entire family line, and the family lines of anyone who happened to succeed him.
It had really been looking like Hisashi had successfully suckered him into dying without passing One for All on, but then his stupid smiles had become more genuine, and he’d started teaching at that stupid school, and well… one thing had led to another, and Hisashi could only reach the conclusion that All Might had picked a successor at the absolute least convenient time for Hisashi.  That is, the same year his beloved son, Izuku, started high school at that very same stupid school.
Now, without a quirk, Izuku wasn’t going to become a hero.  Society as a whole was too bigoted, a fact Hisashi was grateful for.  So grateful, in fact, that he only tortured to death those bigots who direcly laid a hand on his son, rather than starting at the top of the refuse heap known as the Hero Commission and working his way down.
However, despite this, Izuku was naturally brilliant enough for even the imbeciles at UA to recognize.  Was Hisashi happy with this?  Not exactly.  It meant that he had to plan around his son while looking for All Might’s successor.  But if Izuku hadn’t been admitted…  On some level, it saddened Hisashi that he wouldn’t be able to use the plans he’d made for members of the admissions board in the case that they did reject his son.
Anyway, Hisashi could plan around Izuku being in gen ed, or management, or support, or business, or…
Hisashi was, admittedly, somewhat ashamed that he hadn’t managed to ask Izuku exactly which of the courses he’d gotten into.  He’d been… not sulking.  Supervillains did not sulk.  He’d been… less than thrilled about Izuku’s admission, and he hadn’t wanted to ruin Izuku’s celebration, so…  He just let Izuku ramble on about the hated school in that adorable and endearing way of his, without commenting.
He had not been sulking.
But, secure in the knowledge that Izuku was not in the hero course, Hisashi could simply arrange things so that any attacks on All Might, the hero course, other people at UA that annoyed him, etc., didn’t involve any of the non-hero-course first years.  So, he sent his minions (Kurogiri, Tomura, others whose names he hadn’t bothered to remember) to go find a time that the hero course would be nice and far away from anyone he actually liked (Izuku).
To Hisashi’s great cheer, they’d seemingly managed to find the perfect venue for Tomura’s debut.  A hero course field trip to the USJ with All Might!
But Hisashi had forgotten the incompetence of said minions.
Somehow, they’d confused the hero class with Izuku’s class.  All Might, the practical heroics teacher, hadn’t even been there!
Needless to say, Izuku had wiped the floor with Tomura.  Tomura, versus Hisashi’s son?  It wasn’t a contest, really.
Hisashi didn’t have details about how Izuku had managed it, Tomura had mentioned something about ‘green children,’ and that one of them had a frog quirk and the other could fly, but neither of those matched Izuku.  Unlike the strained phone call from Inko and the brief conversation he’d had with an exhausted Izuku.
After those calls Hisashi had almost decided to kill Tomura, regardless of how much he'd invested in him.  How in the world had they managed to mix up the courses like that?  Yes, Hisashi hadn't caught the mistake, either, but then he was blind and unable to read the itinerary Tomura had stolen.  It was hardly his fault!
So.  Yes.  Hard work.  Hard, stressful work, and he couldn't even go home to complain to his wife about it, because of the aforementioned face-punching-off incident.
Tragic.
Which is why he felt no guilt whatsoever about brushing off the good doctor to answer a call from his home phone number.  Not that he would have felt guilt, anyway.  It, along with shame, wasn't an emotion he experienced.
… Except with regards to still not knowing exactly which course Izuku was in.
… And, possibly, never being home.
But that was it!
"Midoriya Hisashi speaking," he said, smoothly into the receiver.
.
"Holy crap," said Banjo.  "It is him."
"Hey," said En, kicking at and missing Hikage's ankles, "why isn't Danger Sense making Nine freak out?"
"Most likely because he isn't in any danger."
"Y'know, if this is 'no danger,' I'm shocked that Danger Sense is working for him at all."
.
"HI, Dad!" said Izuku.  "Sorry to call at a weird time.  You- you aren't busy, are you?"
"Not at all," said Hisashi, ignoring the doctor in front of him and the crime against humanity, science, and reason they were supposed to be animating on the table in-between them.  "Today has been unexpectedly slow."
"Oh, good.  I was wondering if you could help me with something?"
"Of course," said Hisashi.  For a moment, he let himself hope that his son had finally killed that explosive brat, Bakugo.  He mentally cycled through quirks that he could use to cover up the deed.  "What do you need?"
"It's for school.  You know the sports festival is coming up soon."
"Ah, yes," said Hisashi.  Some of the best quirk window shopping there was.  He'd tried to get Eraserhead's after his performance, but his first attempts hadn’t gone well, and he'd been forced to abandon the project.  "What do you need?  Who needs to be eviscerated?"
.
"No, really, how is this guy not registering as evil?"
.
Izuku giggled.  "Well, this year, they’re having everybody pick hero names beforehand."
Hisashi felt his heart stop.  Using a quirk he had acquired for just such a purpose, he kicked it back on and waved off the doctor.  "Everyone?" he asked, desperation expertly masked.  "Including the non-hero courses?"
"Ye-yes," said Izuku.  "I was wondering- I was wondering if you could help me with figuring one out.  I- I mean, my friends gave me lots of good options, but, um."
"I suppose your teachers vetoed Small Might?" Hisashi teased, gently.
"Don't remind me," groaned Izuku.  "I didn't even bring it up."
.
"He kind of did, though," said En.
Nana shrugged.  "He crossed it out.  It hardly counts."  Then, undercutting her argument, she mumbled, "All Might is a great name."
The others nodded, some because they agreed, and some because they didn't want to wind up on the same side as All for One.
"If he tries to give Izuku a stupid villain name, I'm going to tear his throat out with my teeth."
"I thought you tried that already," said Hikage.
"Third…"
"Hey!  You actually did try to do that!"  Third protested from his hiding spot.
"Does it really matter?" asked Nana.  "You're a ghost."
"I'll haunt him, then."
"Now, I know we've all tried that one."
.
"Hm," said Hisashi, "why don't you tell me what your classmates came up with, first?"
"Ah, well."  There was the sound of shuffling paper.  "They had Strawberry, Marimo, Rabbit, Wonder, Augur and Auspex."
Marimo was obvious enough.  The others, however…  "Strawberry?"
"Because of what I look like when I'm blushing, I think.  I'm just glad it isn't tomato or something…  Marimo's kind of the same thing.  You- you know, my hair?"
"And Wonder is because you're wonderful?"
"Noooo, Dad.  Todoroki didn't mean it like that.  It's a play on, um.  Wonderland.  Like, the Rabbit of Wonderland?"
"The one who is always late?  I do hope you're getting to school on time."
"Dad!  I'm on time.  They just think my, um.  You know, the All Might antenna on my hood look like rabbit ears.  And they think I'm bouncy, I guess?"
So, Izuku was still wearing those awful novelty hoodies.  Not that Hisashi had expected otherwise.  It was still disappointing.
"And the last two?  Augur and Auspex?"
"Those are because of my quirk," said Izuku.
"Your what?"
There were only two possible avenues for a quirkless person to develop a quirk.  As Hisashi had decided against repeating the mistake he'd made with his brother, that left one.
One for All.
All Might.
All for One was halfway out of the facility before Izuku answered.
"O-oh!  I guess I never talked to you about it, because it manifested at the USJ.  Sorry, I was just so exhausted after everything…"
"It isn't your fault, Izuku," said Hisashi.  No, it was All Might's.  What, was the irresponsible idiot so convinced he was about to be killed by the noumu that he passed the quirk to the closest child?  If so, he was even weaker than he'd thought!  "What is it like?"
"It, um, it's a stockpile quirk!  We think that's why I never could activate it before.  It stockpiles danger and releases it as personal levitation.  The USJ just…  pushed it over into critical mass."
That… wasn't One for All.
Hisashi killed a lab technician who had the misfortune of being close enough to hear part of his conversation and casually dumped them out of their chair so he could drop into it.  He'd experienced the phenomenon of having his bones turned to powder before, but now they felt practically liquid.
He was still going to murder All Might, though.  Just not right now.
"That might be why I'm so anxious, too- I can feel the stockpile when it gets bigger."
"Fascinating," said Hisashi.  He could see how it might come about.  All for One was, technically speaking, a stockpile quirk, and both personal levitation and Attract would be telekinesis type quirks…  And since Hisashi was a first generation quirk user, odd quirk mutations were to be expected.  “I recall your mother mentioning that her biological mother had a quirk like that.  Something to do with flying.”
“Grandma’s quirk is Green Thumb, though,” said Izuku.
“Your grandmother’s, yes,” said Hisashi, shuddering at the memory of that formidable woman.  The fact that he couldn’t kill her without upsetting his wife was criminal.
Well.  So was he, but, really, what was the point of being a being of ultimate evil if you couldn’t be a hypocrite, too?
Not that he was a being of ultimate evil.  Yet.  It was a work in progress.  There were some travesties he hadn’t stooped to, yet.  Like taunting All Might with Shimura’s grandson.  Oh, and sexual crimes, he supposed, but those didn’t seem fun at all, so he was inclined to skip them.
“But,” continued Hisashi, “your mother was adopted.  She only has her biological parents’ general quirk and medical history.”  Hisashi could have uncovered more, of course, but if Inko didn’t care, neither did he.
Although, with such a strange quirk manifestation from Izuku, maybe he should.  Just in case.
“Oh,” said Izuku, quietly.  “I didn’t know that.”
“Ah,” said Hisashi.  “Perhaps… don’t mention this to your mother?”
That earned Hisashi a faint but genuine chuckle.  “I won’t tell if you don’t.”  Izuku paused.  “Assuming she isn’t listening in on the line.”
.
“On one level, I’m surprised that Nine’s mom would do that,” said Nana, “on the other, she did marry this bastard, so…”
“Speaking of Mrs. Midoriya’s family,” said Hikage, “don’t you think it’s an interesting coincidence that her mother has a quirk similar to yours?”
“Yeah, that’s pretty convenient, isn’t it?  I was half convinced we were screwed the minute Nine picked up the phone to dial.”
Focused as Nana was on the conversation, she did not notice Banjo wrapping Hikage in Blackwhip and dragging him away.
.
“You think she might do that?” asked Hisashi, nervously.  He nudged the cooling body of the technician with his toe.
“I think you offered to kill people for us too many times, or something,” said Izuku.  “She said she wanted to make sure you weren’t giving me the wrong idea about things.”
Hisashi remembered that conversation, come to think about it, but it was more about Hisashi’s rather… vocal distaste for heroes than killing people.  Alas, that Izuku took neither talking point seriously.
“I see,” said Hisashi. “You’ve gotten a quirk counselor, I hope?”  Oh, how Hisashi wished he could guide Izuku himself!  Maybe take the quirk for a test drive.  He’d give it back, of course, it would just be a minute…
“Mhm, my teacher has a license!”
Hisashi shook himself out of the fantasy.  “Good, good.  Now, you wanted help with names.”  The only way he’d get through this is if he considered them to be villain names, not hero names.  “In keeping with the theme of the last two, might I suggest Omen?”
“That sounds more like a villain name.”
Drat.  Izuku was always too smart for games like that.  “If you want something undeniably heroic, how about Skywalker?”
“Would that make you Darth Vader?” joked Izuku.
“Please, I would be far more successful!”  Especially on the ‘living forever with one’s loved ones’ front, although he supposed he could take a loss in the ‘tempted one’s children to evil’ category.
“Considering Anakin Skywalker, I think it’s a bit tainted, anyway.”
.
“He’s not even hiding it!” complained En.  “He’s basically stating that he’s evil outright!”
“This is why we didn’t want this kid as our ninth,” said Third.
“Shut up,” growled Yoichi.  “You don’t get to talk, since you turned me into a folktale postmortem.”
“Maybe you should have done more actually cool things when you were alive, then!”
Yoichi gasped, offended.
“Like, seriously, what kind of moron manages to miss this kind of evil metaphorically punching them in the face?  Even if it is a family member?”
Yoichi gasped, offended.
“Oh,” said Third, belatedly remembering who he was talking to.  “Oops.”
“Can you guys be quiet?” snapped Nana.  “This is important!”
.
“Ah, well,” said Hisashi.  “It was worth a try.  Continuing with fortune telling, Tarot?”
“Like the cards?  That’s kind of far away from what my quirk can actually do.”
“Yes, but that can be a good thing.  You don’t want to be too straightforward.”  Even if he only wound up using it once.  “Risk, then, or Clover?  Both reference luck, and Clover again ties back to your appearance.”
“I kind of like Clover,” said Izuku, “and Risk sounds cool.”  There was a pause as Izuku wrote something down.  “It sounds like you have more?” Izuku’s voice tilted up hopefully at the end.
“A few,” said Hisashi.  “Apollo, a Greek god of prophecy also associated with spaceflight.”  Izuku made an interested sound.  “Comet, a ball of ice and space dust that was considered an omen of ill fortune to come.”  Hisashi sighed.  “Then, if you prefer the rabbit theme--” something Hisashi hoped was not the case; he didn’t want his son to have even an obscure homage to All Might in his name, “--Caerbannog or Gyokuto are appropriate.”
“... Isn’t Caerbannog the man-eating rabbit from that one ancient movie with King Arthur?”
“It may be.”
“We aren’t allowed to name ourselves after movie villains.”
“What’s the fun in that?”
Izuku laughed.  “You sound like Ashido,” he said.  “She wanted to name herself Alien Queen.”
“She sounds like she has good taste.”
"She does," said Izuku.  "You've given me a lot to think about."
"I certainly hope so," said Hisashi.  "I could also help with assuring your dominance over your enemies.  Bakugo Katsuki is in one of the hero courses, yes?"
"I- I'll be- I'll be okay, Dad.  Plus, you never take stuff like this seriously."
While Izuku couldn't be blamed for not knowing about Hisashi's less-than-legal activities, the statement still hurt.  Hisashi's offers of massacring Izuku's rivals were always serious!
"You told me I should go ahead and break Kacchan's arms to establish superiority when I was eight.  Who does that?"
.
"Yes, Ninth," said En.  "Who does that indeed?"
"He's so close but so far away," mourned Nana.
.
"He would have recovered."
"There you go again," said Izuku with a slight laugh.  "My friends and I are working on a plan to win, don't worry!"
Ah, Izuku was collecting minions.  Excellent.  UA graduates were often sho-ins for positions of power and importance.  Making a network early on would help him later.
"I should probably let you go if you're still at work," said Izuku, a little sadly.
"Mhm," said Hisashi, aware of the need to keep his cover as a normal businessman.  "I'll call at the normal time and we can talk more, alright?"
"Okay.  I love you, Dad."
"I love you, too.  And Izuku?"
"Yeah?"
"You are a wonder.  Never let anyone tell you otherwise."
.
Izuku frowned down at the spreadsheet of names and their respective pros and cons in front of him.  It was very large.
He sighed.  "I'm going to have to sleep on this."
.
Yoichi clapped his hands.  "So, are we all in agreement that we cannot let Izuku pick a name my brother came up with?"
"Sure," said En, "but it's not like we can do anything about it."
"We could give him Blackwhip about it," said Banjo.  "That would screw up all of his ideas."
"We're not doing that," said Yoichi, serenely.  "My plan is to hope we have some influence over Izuku's subconscious and scream at him not to take any of my brother's evil names."
"All night?" asked Nana, resignation carved deep into her face.
"That's what it takes."
"Wouldn't it be better to scream a name we do like at him?" suggested Hikage.  "A single, simple, message is more likely to connect."
"I like the way you think," said Yoichi.
"Oh, no," mumbled Nana, "I see what's coming."
"So, what name do we like?" continued Yoichi, oblivious to the coming disaster.
"It can't be Strawberry," said En, quickly.  "Ichigo is the wrong number."
"Singularity!" shouted Banjo.
"Nine would be the right number," continued En.  "But a hero can't be named suffering…"
“Naming him Nine would be counterproductive in the ‘let’s not get Ninth murdered by All for One’ department,” said Nana.
“If it helps,” said Yoichi, “I think he’s more likely to get vaulted.”
“Like a ceiling?” asked Hikage.
“Troubleshoot!” yelled Banjo.  “Danger Fist!  Harbinger!”
“A ceiling?”
“A vaulted ceiling.”
“Reflex!  Nemesis!”
“Dude,” said En.  “Nemesis isn’t a very heroic name.”
“What,” said Yoichi, “do you think vaulted ceilings have to do with this?”
“I don’t know,” said Hikage.  “You brought them up.  I thought maybe he had a quirk for them.”
“For vaulted ceilings?”
“Yes.”
“Black Cat!  Magpie!  Nexus!  Versatile!”
“You do remember that the name has to make sense with One for All as it currently is, right?” asked Nana.
“How about Sixth Sense?” said En.
“You just want your number to come up again,” accused Banjo.
“My number came up almost as long ago as yours, old man.”
“That doesn’t even make sense!”
“Okay, so, when I say vaulting I mean bank vaults.  Imprisonment.  Isolation.”
“I see,” said Hikage.
Yoichi nodded, then sighed as he realized the other ghosts had dissolved into chaos.  “This is going to take a while, isn’t it?”
.
“Hi, Mr. Yagi!  How are you today?” asked Izuku, having run into his mentor outside the teacher’s lounge.
Mr. Yagi took a long, slow sip of coffee.  “I had a very strange dream about people yelling at me to change my hero name.”
“Huh,” said Izuku.  “What did they want you to change it to?”
“Either Troubleshoot or Troubleshot.  It was…  strange.”  He shook himself.  “But what brings you here so early in the morning, my boy?”
“I was hoping to talk to Ms. Kayama,” said Izuku.  “I think I’ve got my hero name pinned down, but I’d like to talk to her about it, first!”  He held up the paperwork for submitting his hero name.
“Oh!  That’s wonderful,” said Mr. Yagi.  “May I see?”
“Sure!” said Izuku, turning the paper around so Mr. Yagi could see it.
He fluffed Izuku’s hair.  “I think that suits you very well, young Midoriya!  I’ll go see if Ms. Kayama is here, alright?”
.
Unfortunately, the past users of One for All were not listening to the conversation.  This was less because they had worn themselves out from shouting, and more because Izuku’s choice of name had shown that all their efforts to communicate were useless and they were wallowing in self-pity.  It was a whole thing.
.
Kurogiri’s wounds had healed acceptably, with the doctor none the wiser.  So, as usual when he wasn’t rescuing Tomura from trouble, helping the doctor in the lab, engaging in miscellaneous criminal activities, or giving random small-time villains alcohol poisoning, he was doing housework, tidying up the hideout.
It quickly became apparent that Kurogiri wasn’t very good at tidying.  Cleaning in general, really.
It was equally obvious that Kurogiri was also the only one that even tried to clean the hideout.
(In the back of his mind, Kurogiri thought it… odd… that these two thoughts felt so newly discovered.  He and Tomura had been here for years.  He should have already known this.)
Yes, he couldn’t expect his master to clean, that was ridiculous, and the doctor was rarely here.  But Tomura…  No, no, not Tomura.  But Kurogiri wasn’t the only minion to ever inhabit this place.  Most of the others were dead now, but even when Kurogiri had been alive he’d helped with classroom cleaning and kept the apartment clean.
Wait, what?
Regardless, this was no place to raise a child.  Not that Tomura was a child anymore, nor was Kurogiri, which…
Kurogiri had never been a child.
In the context of sanitation, the hideout was wretched.  That was the point of this.
Dispirited, Kurogiri wrung out the mop, nearly black water drizzling into the small plastic bucket he’d scrounged up.  Maybe he’d be better at cleaning if he had better supplies.  It was like they wanted Tomura to grow up in soul-crushing squalor.
They who?
It would be better for Tomura to have grown up somewhere else, somewhere safe, away from them.
Kurogiri pressed a hand to his head, and then his neck.  No.
It wasn’t too late--
Kurogiri slammed his hand against the corner of the hall, where two off the walls came together.  There was a satisfying, agonizing click in his wrist and some of the paint on the wall flaked off, revealing a metal bracket.  Kurogiri breathed shallowly, listening.  The only sound in the hideout was the faint music from one of Tomura’s games.
It was Kurogiri’s job to protect and nurture Tomura, to help him carry out his goals.  Yes.  And to do that…
Kurogiri leaned the mop against the wall.  Tomura couldn’t carry out his goals alone.  His goals which were…  His goals.  Defeating All Might.  That was at least a goal.
Tomura would need allies.
Kurogiri teleported himself up to the bar.  Allies.  He would need--  The nomu were right there, weren’t they?
They weren’t enough, though, they weren’t right.  Had Tomura ever had friends?  He must have.  Even if they were just online friends.  He mustn't have.  Sensei would never allow it.
It troubled Kurogiri that he couldn’t remember.
He’d get some friends for Tomura.

We will love you even if others lie about you
Hey guys!! What? You all thought that just because it’s my birthday I wasn’t going to update with more salt fics? Well you thought wrong! Here is a salt fic I thought up! Hope you all enjoy!
Jasmine has always been alone, rejected by her parents for being gifted with the ninetails quirk even when she is an omega... She has learned to accept what she is given and not to get too close to others too fast... She learned that the hard way in Paris of course, for years she has moved from one orphanage to the next with no hope of getting adopted at all, until they moved her to Paris with the hope that she would be lucky there.
She didn’t expect much... But she could still hope...
It wasn’t long before she made friends, sure she didn’t open up about her past but she still bonded with her classmates, none of them tried to push it with her which was great for her... But she always hated refusing to have anyone at her place... Since they don’t know that she lives at an orphanage, so she continued on like everything was alright, the happy days continued... Until Lila Rossi transferred to the class.
She was threatened... And the threat became real...
She was called fat, ugly, weak, useless, a waste of space, her things were destroyed, she was pushed around, homework was stolen, she was laughed at, called awful names... And that was just the nice things they did to her... For there was far worse that they have done like locking her in a closet, beating her up, tearing up her clothes which forces her to go home, leave for field trips early while leaving her behind, leaving disgusting things on her desk or even bringing her a bunch of food and pointing out how fat she is.
It was simply horrible, there were even days when she didn’t want to leave her bed with how horrible the bullying was on her, it was so bad that the workers of the orphanage were worried for her health... One day a letter arrived for her and the head of the orphanage made a choice, UA which is a high school in Japan have decided to accept her and so it was agreed that she would go in the hopes that she would get better there and not be worse then now, so she packed her things and left for a new start.
She lands in Japan without a fuss, grabs her bags and is greeted by a teacher of the school, she is told that instead of living at the orphanage... She would live in the dorms with her classmates, this was all new to her but she was going to meet three classmates: the class representative, the deputy and the pack alpha. The teacher explained that he would bring her bags to her dorm room and she could unpack later on, she walks into the school where she is greeted by Tenya Ida who is her class representative and Momo Yaoyorozu who is the deputy, she is told by Momo that the pack alpha had something to do and was unable to join them for now.
They show her around the school, tell her where they go for lessons or places she might be interested in, if she has any questions they answer them with ease, after a while they begin to guide her to the dorms while both of them worried about her... They both could tell that she had something to hide that was upsetting her. As they get to the dorms she is introduced to her classmates including Izuku Midoriya who is the pack omega, he explains the basics that he does for other omega’s that join the pack making her nod as they get inside where she meets Katsuki Bakugo the pack alpha.
The alpha prime take one look at her and could tell that something was very wrong right now, he introduces himself still while Izuku then takes her to her room and tells her how she was more then welcome in his room and the pack nest to talk and while she does nod at him... She has no plans on meeting him to talk about anything at all. For the next few weeks, things go well for Jasmine, she does well in class, asks questions in private and has adjusted well to her classmates... But Izuku is very worried, during the time she has been here, not once has she come to speak to him about herself... This lead to be told to Katsuki so he could get answers.
He arrives at her dorm room and knocks on the door gently, but to his surprise the door wasn’t locked so he speaks “It’s Katsuki, i’m coming in” with that he enters the room to find no nest, no color, no electronics, nothing scented and no personal items at all... It was pretty plain to him, Jasmine was sitting on her bed looking a little nervous of the situation, Katsuki began to beg for answers, this room set up wasn’t normal to him at all and answers were needed to understand, at first she refused to tell him anything but the begging kept going until she gave in and told him everything, how she was abandoned by her parents and bullied at school in Paris.
Katsuki’s reaction was instant... As well as his pheromones...
He was furious... Actually going feral from what she told him, the class rushed in and began pulling Katsuki out and away while Izuku took her to his room to calm down, he had her lay down in his bed to try and rest and allow her some time to think it over before talking. After awhile, she opened up and told the pack omega everything she told Katsuki, during that time, the alpha prime had calmed down and was being asked what happened... Making him reveal everything Jasmine told him to the pack, none of them were happy at this info and all agreed that they needed to help her heal from what she went through.
Izuku decided that she needed to be given a safe space, so he had her in his personal nest instead of the pack nest so to help her relax and talk to him, this helped her to try and reach out to other members of the pack so to bond, Katsuki while not speaking to her yet, watched from afar and has done small things to show that he is there for her: preparing her a meal, have snacks on hand just in case she want’s one, favorites of her’s stocked at all times, getting products to treat her hair and skin properly and one of his personal favorites... He found out about her love for video games, books and writing so he would buy her something in those categories to keep her entertained.
(Hey guys! Sorry for this but the next part isn’t allowed here so if you wanna read it... Then your gonna have to go to my ao3 account to read it)
The next day, she was all better, no signs of still being in heat at all... But this time she was happier then usual, like nothing was wrong and nothing bad had happened to her at all, the pack was fine with this really since this meant she was alright now, she was talking a lot more then before, was taking part in activities with the pack and was now joining others in private or in small groups to bond, Katsuki couldn’t help but be happy about all of this right now.
But then something happened a few weeks later...
It was sudden, one day Jasmine was bright and happy but then the next day... She throwing up in the toilet in her dorm room, the pack was very worried but it was Izuku who took her to see Recovery girl to see what was wrong, she ran a few tests but the results ended up the same “Your pregnant” she answered, it was a huge piece of info for Jasmine to swallow, so big that she ended up going to her room and letting Izuku tell them everything, after a while, Katsuki knocked on the door with something for her to eat, she didn’t move so he set the tray down on her desk “Will give you time to decide if you want to keep the pup or not... Since it is your body” he said and then left the room.
For the next three days it’s quiet, some help Jasmine in the morning when she throws up and others help her throughout the day... But in the end she decides to keep the pup, the pack is happy at the news and quickly begin to work on making a list of what they needed and plans they needed to make... All the while Katsuki is at her side... Thanking her for gifting him a pup, this continues on for the following months, appointments to see the growth of the pup who turns out to be a girl, ordering a certain things and setting things up in the nursery to set up and preparing for the baby shower.
This continues on until the birth, the pack waits while Katsuki is in the delivery room with the omega as she gives birth to Katsumi Bakugo... The first official pack pup, after a while the pack comes in to greet the pup, no scenting because not everything is confirmed for some of them, as some could transfer to another pack... So the scenting would happen after the pup is a little older for now.
While all of this was happening! Back in Paris...
Jasmine’s old classmates... For some reason were mad at the omega, it turns out that while none of them knew that Jasmine has been gone for months... They still believed Lila when she claimed that Jasmine was bullying her by sending mean messages... When in reality, the omega was gifted a new phone by her pack and has gotten adopted by Shota and Hizashi Yamada making her Jasmine Yamada now, they also believed that Jasmine was hiding at the orphanage to keep on bullying Lila... When in truth she wasn’t... Lila is an alpha claiming to be an omega, all of this was being done as a sick mind game by the alpha.
Lila believed that by taking away all of Jasmine’s friends, she would be alone and willing to do anything to have a friend... Including allowing Lila to claim and mate her, which is why she was accusing the omega of bullying her, the orphanage has been ordered many times by the class, Caline and principal for answers, but they refused, one day Adrien talked about how he was going to Japan for a photoshoot for the Bakugo fashion compagnie with there son Katsuki Bakugo.
The class wanted to go so they agreed to work together to earn the money to go with the blonde alpha, the trip was in three months... So they quickly got to work, seeing how much each of them could give for the trip while seeing how much they actually needed to earn, then planning fundraisers to earn the remaining money for the trip... A month and a half later, they had the money they needed, hotel rooms were reserved and plane flights were set so they could get going with Adrien to Japan.
Katsuki who knew about Adrien coming for the shoot... Was more focused on helping Jasmine to recover and Katsumi, the pack was helping too which was great, it took time but soon Jasmine was back at school and with her pack taking care of Katsumi, Katsuki got a call a few days later about how Adrien was off for Japan... With his classmates this time, this wasn’t good for Katsuki... He was sure that Jasmine wasn’t going to be well if she saw them but Mitsuki told him to trust her a bit and let her try to be okay.
One weekend, the pack decides that it’s time to do some shopping, they all needed a few things but so did Jasmine and little Katsumi, so off they went to the mall for a shopping trip, they were having some fun looking in stores and buying what they needed... That they ended up in the area of the mall where Adrien was doing his solo photoshoot with his classmates watching... And they saw Jasmine there with her new classmates.
The class rushed over to yell at Jasmine for the “bullying” she did to Lila, they also called her a coward for running away from her crimes... Her pack quickly moved in to defend her while Katsuki scented her and helped to calm down a crying Katsumi, Mitsuki came running over at that moment to get answers... When they had to stop Adrien from trying to claim Jasmine by force, this resulted in the police being called to take him and to call his parents on charges his son needs there help in paying for.
Caline Bustier tried to stop them but the police ignored her as they took the alpha away, some officers did stay to yell at the remaining students she has for there actions of bullying towards Jasmine when all she did was stand and walk around with her pack, Lila during that time, glared towards Katsuki, she should have been the one to mate Jasmine during her heat, she should have been the one to get her pregnant and that should be her pup that Jasmine is holding... With her bite on her neck.
She with her classmates were forced back to the hotel while Jasmine left with her pack for UA, Lila was in her room furious that Jasmine wasn’t hers... And then she got an idea, she went to the class in tears revealing that her doctor messed up with her second gender and she was actually an alpha... Also she revealed her lying disease making the class feel horrible for her right now, after a while she admitted that she wanted to mend things with Jasmine... But also wanted to court her.
This made the class really happy, not only did Lila want to fix things and move on from Jasmine bullying her to become friends but she wanted to have Jasmine as her omega! It was like a fairytale come true! They all quickly worked together to figure out a plan... Without knowing that Lila already had her plan in mind, after a while... Jasmine was with Izuku and Katsumi on a walk, Jasmine promised to call or text every once in a while to prove that she was fine, after a while they went into a café to relax a bit with something to drink and eat... Then Lila walked over to them.
She claimed that she wanted to talk to Jasmine in private, while she could tell that something was wrong... She agreed and left the café with the lying alpha, once outside... Izuku calls Katsuki and the police while trying to calm Katsumi down, Lila takes her a few blocks away where she drowns Jasmine in her pheromones, then alpha commands her to follow her, she guides Jasmine to some abandoned building where she commands Jasmine to not escape or fight back, this as a result makes her happy because she finally get’s her omega after such a long wait.
They were both out of there clothes, Jasmine was crying while letting out terrified pheromones that any sane alpha would not to back away... But Lila in her head believed that the omega was simply nervous, just as she was about to begin... Police and Katsuki get in, the alpha tries to make them leave and claim that nothing was wrong... But she is ignored as they cuff her and take her away, meanwhile... Katsuki rushed over to the terrified omega by getting her out of the commands and then carries her to the ambulance to have her looked over, the pack omega while carrying Katsumi rushed over to them, after she was cleared she was carried back to UA and into her dorm where the pack drowned her in there scent.
Lila was charged for her crimes and taken back to Paris with Adrien, the news shocked the class as they still believed that Jasmine was being horrible towards Lila but once again... Her pack defended her until they left for Paris, years went by and now they had graduated, some members of the pack left to either be with there mate or join there mates pack... Some were sadly at an agency too far from where the pack now lives, Jasmine though wasn’t working, she was now pregnant with Shoto’s twins while taking care of the now four year old Katsumi and Eiko Kirishima who Mina gave birth to.
Her old classmates did try many times to reach out to her and tried to visit but each time they were ignored... She wasn’t going to simply be with people who won’t give her any love like her pack has done from the start, besides... She had the packs pups to take care of while Izuku was in America for a mission that would be over in a week so why leave them all for toxic friends?

The moment right before the start of the sports festival is shockingly nerve-wracking. Each step through the tunnels, closer to the main field of the arena, fills you with more dread and excitement and anticipation. You keep your head raised high, wearing your UA gym uniform proudly as the roaring of the crowd starts to meet your ears. With Bakugo on your right and Kirishima on your left, you almost feel invincible. This is your chance, your opportunity, to show everyone what you’re capable of and show all of Japan that you refuse to be defined by your father’s tainted legacy. Present Mic’s voice booms over the speakers, his grinning face plastered across the monitors as you finally step out onto the field, astroturf crunching beneath your feet as he sings the praises of hero course class 3A. The crowd’s enthusiastic cheering is addictive. You make a point to soak it in while you can. Right now each and every one of them see you as a hero. While some of the students lamented not being able to wear their costumes for the event, you were secretly glad for it. The uniform made you a generic UA student; for now, unburdened by the past.
“This never gets old,” Kirishima grins next to you as you all step into the central area and the other classes begin to filter out into the coliseum as well. A few of them grumble, giving the hero classes jaded looks, but even their ire cannot dampen the overall atmosphere. You instinctively find yourself seeking out a familiar pair of heterochromatic eyes, eventually finding them next to Midoriya, Iida, and Uraraka. You can’t help the way your heart trips over itself when you lock eyes with Shoto. Memories of the night before and of waking up in his arms float to the forefront of your mind and you scowl before shaking your head to physically dispel the image from your mind. You turn away from him, missing the hurt that flashes across his eyes. He redirects his attention back to Principal Nezu, chief umpire as usual for the third years. “Now Shoto Todoroki will give the class pledge,” Nezu announces before ceding the floor.
The school had made the executive decision not to let Bakugo give the pledge after that first year. Midoriya had nearly passed out when it was his turn second year (as much as he has grown, public speaking still isn’t quite his forte). This made Todoroki the obvious choice for this year’s class pledge. As he approaches the mic he can’t help but think of Bakugo’s first speech. He remembers Midoriya telling him later the apparent narcissistic declaration that Bakugo had made to be number one had actually been to box himself into a corner to make sure he followed through. The more he thinks on it the more Shoto relates to that desire. His eyes scan the crowd until he spots his father amongst the rest. He makes sure to make direct eye contact, his eyes boring into his father’s as he leans down to speak into the mic. “I pledge... that we will create a new legacy of our own and destroy legacies of old,” he says confidently. He thinks he sees a flash of hurt and disappointment in Endeavor’s eyes even from the great distance between them. He turns to stride down the stairs of the stage and he can’t help but seek you out amongst the crowd of fellow students, hoping you got the message.
You tense a bit as your heart skips another beat. That boy is going to give you heart palpitations. Bakugo nudges you harshly in the side, causing you to jerk your head to scowl at him. “You good, nerd?” he asks, concern softening his usual bite a fraction. “I’m great. Ready to start kicking ass,” you reply, pushing down all your Shoto-related feelings for examination later. “Good,” is all Bakugo replies before his attention returns to Nezu. You can’t help but smile a little at Bakugo’s concern. He’s a surprisingly good friend and you’re grateful Kirishima introduced the two of you. When the direct elimination round comes around you’ll be merciless, but you have full confidence the two of you will make it through the qualifiers and you know the two of you and Kirishima will make for a great team for whatever the second round will be. “Don’t forget loser. I better see you on the fucking podium,” you remind him with a smirk. “You ain’t gotta worry about me idiot. Worry about yourself,” he replies although there’s no heat behind the words and he’s smirking just as much as you.
As the first game is announced you resolve yourself to staying middle of the pack for now. You don’t want to draw too much attention and let everyone discover your identity too quickly. You’re keenly aware that the second round is almost always a team event and without knowing how many people will be on a team, you can’t rely on Bakugo and Kirishima. Furthermore, any team you’re on would only become a target. Bakugo would kill you if he knew you have no intentions of trying your all in the qualifying round of course but you have to be strategic. No one pays much attention to the lower ranks from round 1, it’ll be easier to slip under the radar. Then, in round 2, you’ll kick it up a notch to prove your worth. At that point winning will become the only important matter. Creating a new legacy while destroying the old, as Shoto put it.
So that’s exactly what you do. The first game is a so called “Tower of Terror” that had been constructed in the preceding weeks. The task is simple enough in theory: scale the tower, cross from there to the ramp connected to the stadium, and return to the field. Only rule is that falling off the tower entirely is an immediate elimination. The amount of people being promoted out of the qualifying round is, as usual, a secret but you do the math to get a good idea of how many would optimally be removed and think you have a good estimate to ensure you’ll remain relatively anonymous. Your strategy pays off and you finish in the 30s out of the approximately 50 who qualify. As you finish your slide down the ramp, glowing faintly as you heal the minor injuries you’ve collected, a fuming Bakugo is storming up to you and you roll your eyes.
“The fuck you doing half and half?” he demands as you dust yourself off. “None of your goddamn business Pomeranian,” you fire back. “What happened to trying to be the best huh? Didn’t think you were one for dirty tricks,” he accuses. You feel your temper starting to genuinely flare at that comment. “I’m not pulling dirty tricks I’m trying to survive asshole. Not all of us can afford to be showy right out the gate,” you seethe. “I didn’t take you for a coward.” “I didn’t take you for an idiot.” “Say that shit again and I’ll blast you out the fucking stadium.” “I’d like to see you fucking try.” Both of you grip hold of the front of each other’s shirts, your right hand raised as your quirk makes shadows pool in it and one of his hands raised already popping off explosions. Before either of you can draw more attention to yourselves or actually act on your anger, you’re frozen in place. Literally. “All that work you did to keep your identity under wraps will be for nothing if Present Mic or Nezu comment about you and Bakugo fighting between games. Especially if they decide to disqualify you over it,” Shoto says as he approaches the both of you before melting the ice keeping you and Bakugo from pummeling each other. “I don’t recall fucking asking you,” you spit back, whirring to face your former friend. “I’m only trying to help,” Shoto responds placatingly but it’s too late to quell your anger. “Well fucking stop trying to,” you tell him before storming off. You need to focus on the next event anyway and not stupid Shoto with his stupid face and his stupid need to stick his nose in your fucking business.
The second event is...
Rough.
To say the least.
You and Bakugo were still too pissed at each other to make a proper team so you’d ended up with Yaoyorozu, Denki, and Sero. You admired their quirks and objectively they were strong, but it wasn’t exactly a perfectly complementary combination of skills. Each member of the team was given a target they were required to protect, almost exactly like the provisional licensing exam held during your first year, except with one major twist. Every member of your team was linked together by a short leash attached to their wrists. Last four teams standing would advance to the finals. Without his costume or support items to help direct his lightning Denki’s quirk was difficult to utilize without risking stunning the entire team. Sero’s quirk was more useful but the placement of the leash made it difficult for him to use it without tugging around the hands of the teammates on either side of him. You and Yaoyorozu, the only two whose quirks weren’t actively impeded, struggled to compensate for the other two and coordinate your actions. In the end, the four of you had barely qualified, leaving you frustrated.
So much for crafting a new legacy.
As Present Mic gleefully announces that the teams of Midoriya, Bakugo, Monoma, and Yaoyorozu will be moving on, a picture of all those advancing flashing on the monitors, you can’t help but sink deeper and deeper into regret and frustration. The others head to the cafeteria as the lunch break is announced but you storm off in the opposite direction in hopes of getting an opportunity to cool off and clear your head before the break ends and the next game begins. The universe, however, seems to have other plans because instead you crash into another, much larger body. As you look up your apology shrivels up and dies on your tongue as you find yourself staring into the eyes of the only man who inspires similar ire in you as your father does.
Enji Todoroki aka Endeavor aka the (second) largest tool in the entirety of Japan.
“Where are you sneaking off to?” he asks, making no attempt to mask his suspicion of you. “None of your fucking business,” you retort. You move to step around him but he quickly steps back in front of you. “The cafeteria is the opposite direction,” Endeavor informs you. “Gee thanks, I had no idea even though I literally go to this fucking school,” you reply, each word dripping with sarcasm. “Then what could possibly have you traveling this direction instead?” “Like I said. None of your fucking business.” “Your suspicious behavior is my business. I made a mistake with a (y/l/n) before, I won’t make one again,” Endeavor swears and you reel back almost as if struck. “I am not my father,” you spit out. Your quirk activates unbidden in response to your anger, black shadows curling out of your clenched right hand and forearm. “Sure looks like it to me,” Endeavor scoffs, looking pointedly at the shadowy tendrils rising out of the right side of your body. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” a familiar voice asks from behind you and you wish the earth would swallow you up. Shoto steps around and in front of you, taking up an almost protective stance between you and his father. “Shoto step aside and-“ “No,” Shoto insists, staring down his father in challenge. He and Endeavor’s gazes stay locked in a silent argument, neither willing to back down, so you take the opportunity while they’re both distracted to slip away. You make it to about halfway down the hallway when a hand catches your shoulder. You whirl around knocking it away to find Shoto there looking genuinely stunned at your hostility. “Jesus christ will you fuck off!” you snap at him and maybe it isn’t fair but you’re frustrated and angry and you fought with one of your best friends and you’ve barely squeaked through each round so far and the last thing you are mentally or emotionally prepared to do is confront your increasingly complex thoughts on Shoto fucking Todoroki whose father just all but accused you of attempting to sabotage the competition.
“Hey I just wanted to check on you,” he says and for some reason, the show of compassion only pisses you off even more. “Why can’t you just leave me the fuck alone?” you demand. “Please (y/n) I-“ he tries to say, clearly confused by your rage. You know most of your anger is actually directed inwards and not at him but you don’t care. “I get that you are trying to grow as a person or whatever and pity me because you were a complete and utter dickhead a decade ago but I don’t want your fucking pity friendship so leave me the fuck alone Icyhot,” you spit with all the venom you can muster before promptly spinning around and continuing your path down the hallway, leaving a stunned Shoto behind.
No one needs to know that you’ve already started crying before you’ve even turned the corner away from him.
A/N: Oh you thought the good feelings from last chapter would last? Nah, have some angst 🙃

A McDanno rec list for a new friend. (These are also authors I enjoy, so consider this a blanket rec list.)
The Bareknuckle Poet by pleasebekidding
After a serious accident left Steve temporarily wheelchair-bound, working towards his recovery, he enrolled at Rutgers for a year. He met Danny Williams in his criminology course, wearing pride pins and chipped black nail polish, so sure of himself that Steve found it breathtaking. What happened next redefined Steve's sense of self, his ambitions, and many of his priorities.
Tax Benefits by renecdote
“Everyone already assumes we’re married so maybe we should just...” Danny gestures broadly with his beer. He’s maybe a little bit… Not drunk, but definitely tipsy.
“For the tax benefits.”
Danny gives him an aggravated look. “Yes, Steven, for the tax benefits.”
Danny (jokingly) suggests they should get married. Steve takes him seriously.
ua kaha aku la ka nalu o kuu aina (the surf has pressed upon my land) by icoulddothisallday, TetrodotoxinB
Steve knows, he learned, how a man behaves. He can play his part. Danny, who is a good man and great father, looks nothing like what Steve was taught. Reconciling the two means giving up everything he's clung too for the last two decades, and there's nothing about it that's easy.
*potentially triggery AF (deals with effects of conversion therapy) but beautifully rendered
the art of leaving and saying goodbye by Verasteine
2007 is the year Danny learns that choice can be the worst kind of heartbreak. AU.

“No, babe,” Danny shakes his head with a grin. “If the apocalypse were to go down while I’m elsewhere for some godforsaken reason, then you stay put and I’m coming to wherever you are.” His grin widens. “And I expect you to have cleared any aliens or zombies or whatever else might be messing with us off the island and to have set up a nice, comfortable military dictatorship for us to rule over by the time I get back.”
It’s a joke.
Of course it’s a joke.
Until it isn’t.
(A the-day-after-tomorrow-style apocalypse AU, where the world decides to end right when Danny is visiting one of the other islands with Grace. Because, of course, it does.)
not just friendship (romance too) by earthquakedream
Steve's gone and gotten himself a boyfriend. Danny's not sure what worse: the fact that he's stupidly jealous or that he actually likes the guy.
All I Ever Wanted (It Comes with a Price) by leviarty
Steve gets shot. Again. Danny is not okay.

After All Our Troubles, We Have This by Banshi13
"I'm ending this," McGarrett muttered after a few moments of silence. "I'm not coming back until Wo Fat is in the ground. I'll dig his own grave and bury him myself if I have to, but my father is dead, my mother is running all over the world in hiding, my sister and I were uprooted from our lives, and now he's got Danny locked somewhere in a basement in the middle of Japan." “I’m in love with you, Steve,” Danny says. He does it softly, quietly, laying the words into the darkness of Steve’s backyard like they’re something breakable, something to be tiptoed around. “I thought you should know.”
Steve’s heart jumps. It rams against his ribcage so hard it’s going to leave bruises. So hard he startles awake, and he almost yells before he realizes he’s outside because he fell asleep in one of the garden chairs in his backyard again.

Danny Williams isn’t in a great place – he’s a reluctant transplant to Oahu and an outsider at HPD. Former Navy SEAL Steve McGarrett isn’t doing much better, having suffered a career ending injury. When Danny’s young daughter Grace wanders into Steve’s bar after getting lost on a school field trip, Danny is drawn to Steve, somewhat against his better judgement – he’s got enough on his plate. He’s not exactly sure what Steve sees in him. As they spend more time together, Danny learns how Steve’s injury has changed his life in many ways, but not the most important ones. As one thing leads to another, Danny realizes that things might be looking up after all.

“I’m Detective Williams.” Danny says, not trying too hard to keep it smug free. “This is my partner, Detective Mackenzie.”
Ken Doll keeps his arms up, his eyes flickering between them all as if he's only seeing police for the first time. “Good cover,” he tells Danny, and it sets Danny’s teeth on edge.
“This is the part where you say sorry for assaulting a police detective, for compromising an investigation, and for acting like a complete asshole while doing it,” Danny growls, about to change his mind and cuff the guy himself.
“Sorry, Officer.”
The bastard is still grinning.
Boys Like Me, We Try Too Hard by romanticallyinept
Steve's always wound so fucking tight.
And Danny's worried about him. Legitimately worried about him. Because maybe Steve always lays into the perps a little hard, and maybe he follows his own rules and his own morals and doesn't stop to sleep unless his body's actually shutting down around him, but usually, Steve's okay at the end of the day. Usually, Steve's not leaning against the wall of the alley they're in, eyes closed and shaking, with the perp he'd cuffed a minute earlier lying on the ground and crying about his broken nose.
Steve keeps a secret, and Danny does his best to patch him back up when it comes to light.

BNHA FIC PROMPTS
A collection of all of the fic ideas from that ask game, as of now. I’ll throw in new ones if i get any and when I remember. Feel free to use any of them, I’d love a link if you did!
with hands to the sky, I beg (what will save us?)
Izuku is a god who asks to be reborn as a human to try and help. He is warned he can’t return to being a god and will join the mortal realm, ever reincarnated. He agrees.
Izuku is a child with faint memories of a life he never lived, who knows too much about the world but not enough about the people around him. He’s not listed as having a quirk but he’s never gotten sick, never been hurt. He scares the other children and the adults don’t like his precocious nature. Inko loves her little miracle.
My Soul is Like a Supernova
Things happen around Izuku. Always have. Everything from earthquakes and villain attacks to miraculous healing and lottery wins. He’s always attracted big events like this - as if even the universe can see how important he is and it warps itself around him.
He sees this as perfectly normal. 1A is begining to notice a stressful pattern.
This one regret of mine
Character study of Inko and how she deeply regrets so many things she’s done in her life, from her husband, to giving up on her carrier, to telling Izuku he couldn’t be a hero and then letting him keep going to UA.
But no matter what she’d never regret her son.
Of souls and lost causes
A good ol’ Izuku sees dead people AU, focused more on his younger years when he’d wander around the city helping as many spirits as he could, only to return home at the end of the day exhausted and dirty to an increasingly worried mother who believed the doctor when he said seeing ghosts as a quirk would be impossible.
my life.your choice
Underground heroics AU (i dont think ive ever posted that au huh): Izuku is the well-known son of japan’s immortal emperor, All for One. Born quirkless, he’s been emotionally abused but violently protected his whole life by his father, his mother killed before his eyes for trying to take him away. He’s never been able to make a choice for himself save for his bodyguard - his childhood friend, Bakugo Katsuki.
Katsuki made a pledge to protect him when they were in kindergarten and he’ll be damned if he breaks it now. And if it takes the two of them joining the resistance, meeting a vigilante by the name of All Might thought long dead and Izuku receiving a near-mythical quirk? Well, that just makes it more exciting, doesn’t it?
I forgot that you existed
Izuku gets hit with a quirk that not only makes people forget him, it prevents them from seeing him as well - all but erasing him from reality for everyone he knows. He can still interact with things but all it manages to do is just UA shut down under fear of villain infiltration. They find Izuku 18 hours later when the quirk wears off - a motion tracking gun trained on his forehead.
certain uncertainties
No one can predict the quirks trapped in One for All or when they’ll show up. Anthology fic of Izuku discovering each of them, some being rather helpful, and at least one piece of merch being sent into a low orbit.
Sometimes goodbye is a second chance
Set in the same universe I wrote console reset in; during the two heroes movie: they never defeat Nine and he slaughters the whole island and his class, leaving Izuku till last. He comes back at the start of their first day on the island and doggedly makes friends with every islander he can because while it hurt seeming them die, it hurt even more knowing he’d never even learnt most of their names.
They win this time the first time they meet him, even if it’s a marathon fight of 8 hours with him and Bakugo doggedly wearing him down. No one dies. Izuku thinks it’s worth dying as many times as he has to to keep the people he loves smiling.
The immortality of the heroic spirit
One of the quirks in One for All is determination: if you have something you desperately want to do, you can’t die - no matter how much blood you lose or home many pieces your body is crushed into - you’ll just heal back to where you were before you died. All Might and Aizawa find this out to horrifying effect during a brutal villain fight they are stuck watching on the news with the rest of a terrified UA.
In hindsight this makes a lot of sense to Izuku. Aizawa wants to scream. All Might has coughed up more blood than is probably healthy and all of 1A bruised hands from where they were clutching each other’s when it got too tense.
Shine on you invincible legacy
Izuku becomes a top 10 hero before hes even out of high school, hitting No.2 the second he graduates and taking No.1 from Hawks literally the next time the ranking is counted. 1A will not stop throwing him parties each time he moves up in the ranking, even if in 3rd year it was every other week. All Might comes to ever one of them.
Shake the Dirt from Your Shoes
Izuku will be a hero and no one will stop him - an AU a fair bit like the beginning of canon except Izuku fights back, remains unending optimistic and maybe engages in a light bit of technically legal vigilantism, accidentally befriending a vast array of heroes and a student or two.
To his horror, they recognise him out of costume as soon as he speaks to them, resulting in a very eventful first day at UA.
do you feel with a heart of steel
Original Sin AU, young Izuku finding feeling emotions difficult and not knowing why. He finds a dying animal on the way home and sits with it, patting it until it passes away. He doesn’t think he feels anything, but his cheeks feel wet.
all you want is milk and honey
Villains have been trying to use Izuku his entire life, much to his annoyance and confusion (I wonder who in his family might make him known to villains? hm). He’s gotten very good at being intimidating, even as a child.
When he gets kidnapped with Bakugo on a primary school field trip he decides to hell with it and breaks out all the stops. Turns out villains don’t tend to want a 10-year-old who can describe in great detail how they would hang you with your own intestines.
Bakugo decides that fuck Izuku being quirkless, he’s kind of amazing.
Even the stars
Izuku dies young and no one but the stars cry for him. They bring him back, but his body is cold and he has a nova burning where his heart should be. A four-year-old who has known death and walked among the stars is a terrifying thing. His skin has a shimmer to it, his eyes look like planets with no visible pupil, and he knows far too much.
The stars still speak to him, and they see everything.
bitter dreams and optimistic nightmares
Bakugo and Izuku grow up good friends, until Izuku is taken by villains age 9.
Bakugo’s determined to be a hero to save Izuku, even if it hurts to be at UA without him.
Izuku hates hurting people but he’s determined to make the most of his horrible situation by leaking information to heroes whenever he can. He’s given to All for One to serve as a lab hand to the doctor when All for One finds out this rag tag outpost of his had been hiding a valuable resource.
They meet at the USJ.
Mind Games for Two Shinsou and Izuku are both gen ed students in the same class, but with Shinsou stubbornly refusing to make friends and Izuku being the vice president they are almost strangers. UA has a no quirkless students policy and Shinsou has accidentally discovered that he student in his class with an analysis quirk, doesn’t, actually, have one. Izuku is aware Shinsou knows. They both want to get into the hero course but are under the impression there is only one spot.
It’s tense.
The Melody Stuck in My Soul
Izuku has an empathy/emotional control quirk that hears other’s emotions like music. He uses this both to read people, to defend himself, and, because hes Izuku, to ramp up his adrenaline/motivation/anger to kick ass. He and Bakugo are friends because baby Bakugo was lowkey impressed Izuku managed to weaponize his tears.
Advantage of the musical element: it gives him something concrete to latch on to and change, and it was very easy to work out which emotions were which. Also he has his own theme song, even if he’s the only one who can hear it.
Disadvantage: He cant turn it off. The stronger the emotion the ‘louder’ the music (it doesn’t cover up natural sounds because its not technically there, you get me?)
Error 404, childhood not found
A Hero’s Son AU, snapshot’s of Izuku’s childhood with No.1 Hero All for One as his abusive father.
Age 4 when his quirk never comes in and All for One abandons all pretences of loving him. Age 6 when he realises his son is intelligent and has a use as a lab assistant for the doctor. Age 8 when Bakugo first realises something is wrong. Age 9 when his father is almost killed by the No.1 villain All Might. Age 9 when he’s made to work in the labs with the doctor.
Age 14 when he meets All Might. Age 15 when he makes it into UA.
Darkness Growing (The Light Ever Smaller)
Villains take over Japan after the current arc, leaving all heroes and students that don’t switch sides on the run. 1A is instantly separated with a few of them  being killed, most of the living students with Aizawa and Izuku and Bakugo by themselves, both too stubborn to leave the other.
Aizawa is desperately trying to get to Izuku and Bakugo in an attempt to keep them safe, while the two of them are avoiding Aizawa to keep the rest of their class safe(er), all while avoiding the villains, turncoat heroes and police out to get them. Public support is spotty at best with anyone found ‘harboring a criminal’ given the same punishment as the hero.
Lost soul of last hope
The first wielder has been Izuku’s imaginary friend since he can remember. He’s not very imaginary.
Featuring Izuku with the world’s strangest older brother, Inko coming to the realisation her son can see a ghost, but only one ghost and no one will believe them, Izuku’s quirk being listed as Inko’s because the first wielder can help him fake it, and Izuku wondering why first looks so much like that picture of his father on his mother’s bedside table.
The kids the system failed
100% The 1A run aways au with 1A, Aizawa and Mic being runaways kids of various ages that band together to stay alive and maybe do a little vigilante work on the side.
Izuku has All for One and uses it like you’d expect a traumatised kid to - cautiously at first but when he gets the hang of it there are suddenly no more criminals with quirks in their area, and it looks suspiciously like Uraraka can fly.
Just a second to soon? For the Fic thing?
Aizawa struggles and gets knocked out just before Shigaraki lunges at Tsuyu. She and Izuku are left horribly injured by his quirk with massive facial scarring, and in Tsuyu’s case, the loss of an eye.
Daze
An illusion/fear quirk makes his teachers look like villains and convinces him he’s in danger. They try and stop him without hurting him but it’s difficult considering Izuku is convinced he’s protecting his friends, considering he can only see them broken and bloodied with villains he thought were locked away loaming over them.
Even as Aizawa cuts out his quirk Izuku still tries to shield his friends, snarling ferally.
Morning Glories and Forget-me-nots
A memory quirk of unknown duration hits Izuku, leaving him remembering none of his life. 1A starts to fall apart without one of their pillar’s.
hopeless but not broken
The Long Con au where Izuku asks All Might if he could be a hero without a quirk - he’s really asking if he can stop pretending to be a villain, if he’s worth anything without the quirks he’s been given, if he’s worth something as himself rather than the limited use he can provide. He doesn’t know how to say all of that, so he just asks if he could be a hero.
All Might says no. And Izuku basically decides right then that the only way he’ll ever be able to help people is by being a mole for the heroes like he’s been since he was 10 - that he isn’t worth anything because he’s quirkless and to be considered just as valuable as the people around him are he needs to give his life and more.
He shows up to the bar crying because of All Might and Shigaraki moves his murder plot forward a few months.
Sunflowers and Summer Gardens
All Might starts a garden on campus and 1A like to help. He uses it as a nice place to chill and as physical therapy. He likes to give the different classes bunches of flowers when they sprout.
For Dos and For Donts
Izuku runs into some of his old bullies when out with some of his friends. Uraraka, Iida, Todoroki, Shinsou and Asui intimidate the fuck out of them, and Izuku realises hes not scared of them any more. Then they get frozen yoghurt!
your mistakes, my unbecoming
Aizawa assigns a project on quirk related issues, Izuku ends up with quirkless discrimination, Aizawa assumes his discomfort is just him being upset he doesn’t get to talk about quirks. He doesn’t realise his mistake until he finds Izuku dissociating on the roof.
one and one into the vast
Original Sin AU, All for One and Izuku seeing the vestiges together. One for All sees his brother for the first time and Izuku learns a lot about the voice in his head.
All for One has a mini-crisis about his not son learning he’s a horrific villain, especially considering he has the power to cast his soul out at any time, killing him at will. Izuku doesn’t kill him. He admits its probably not right of him to let AfO remain considering the things he’s done, but All for One is a part of him now and it would be like killing a friend.
All for One quietly decides to hold off on the villainy until all of 1A is dead, for Izuku’s sake.
between the stars of our souls
Izuku and All Might are old gods who keep getting reborn into human forms with their memories regained when they turn 4. Normally finding each other takes a while, and their last reincarnation they never found each other, so this time he resolves to make himself as easy to find as possible, all while saving as many people as he can.
Izuku, aged 4, memories fresh in his head, makes it his mission to get into contact with the man he knows is his father/mentor’s reincarnation. All Might’s agency was not expecting a 4 year old to repeatedly try breaking in to their office, and they especially weren’t expecting him to be so good at it.
you really should have thought this through
Different (and ill-advised) attempts at special moves or team up combo moves. Featuring:
Izuku managing to break Kirishima’s nose.
Uraraka sending Bakugo so high he broke the sound barrier coming back down to earth.
Kaminari and Shouto managing to electrify ice.
Izuku, Todoroki and Bakugo levelling a whole suburb (at least it was condemned???)
I'll Break Anything You Give Me
Different times Izuku desperately tried to repair his relationship with Izuku over the years and the one time Bakugo fully grasps how much he fucked up and reaches out his hand to try to fix it for the first time. Probably includes a lot of screaming, Bakugo learning how to say sorry, a field trip and them having a conversation on Aldera’s roof.
Sinking
One for All kind of possesses Izuku during a quiet night at the dorms. One for All, made of 8 people, 7 of which are dead and had their last experiences in life be rather painful and violent, breaks down, Izuku alone not enough to drown them out. They lash out at anyone who tries to touch them, their quirks tearing Izuku’s body apart.
All Might’s vestige reaches out a hand to Izuku to keep his mind from being torn apart as 1A set about both trying to protect Izuku and get Aizawa who was off campus on patrol.
Feat. Bakugo and All Might being the only people with any idea about what’s going on and getting more and more stressed each second that passes. Iida, Uraraka and Todoroki being good heroes and even better friends. Blood King deciding he’s never watching 1A for Aizawa again, and Aizawa deciding he’s never leaving 1A alone ever again.
A Long Way From Home
Shirakumo wakes up in Kurogiri’s body in Tartarus with only shadowed memories of his time as a villain. He’s scared and alone and he just wants to see his friends again, even if he’s scared they hate him because at least that’s something he knows.
Too Far Gone
The other side AU, it comes out Izuku is a villain with (knockoff) All for One and he has a showdown with Mirio. He and Izuku trained together under All Might and Mirio tries to plead with him but Izuku has to basically tell him to go to hell to not ruin his placet as crown prince of the underworld.
Of course, he’s not only doing this to save people, he’s also doing it with All Might’s blessing - taking over from All Might himself serving as a villain after he killed All for One to prevent a power vacuum.
Doesn’t mean that his friends in 1A know that.
Snowy hills and sunlit peaks
Probably an AU about All Might being a mountain spirit with a little shrine that Izuku is the only one who visits - Izuku gets in trouble and All Might manifests himself, saves him, and tells everyone to keep their hands off his human son.
Wilting
Izuku gets sick and he tries to hide it because he’s scared its something serious but he just gets worse and worse. His friends are the ones who eventually step in and comfort him.
I’d probably write two endings with one being a bad end and the other a good end.
My wish came true without me realising
Izuku wakes up one morning, comes downstairs and just starts crying. Everyone panics and he reassures them they are happy tears and that he's just glad to be here. They all call him sappy and give him a hug. Later in the day he and Bakugo chat and Izuku reveals he never even expected to live this long, let alone become a hero. Bakugo grumbles that he’s too stubborn to die, and not to get too cocky. Izuku promises he wont.

Copy and Erase: The Past | DRAFT
AN: Characters in this story except for Kira is not mine, this story is based in the MHA universe with my own little AU. Enjoy!
P.S Kira has pronounced Ki-rah
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
No-ones pov:
Kira, a second year, was one of UA's top students because of her quirk. Many of the first years looked up to her, third years on the other hand, not so much.
"Just another show off" they always say.
Everyone has a high school crush, whether it's someone older, younger, or perhaps the same age. But at least everyone had had a crush on a particular teacher, these crushes would fade with time, whether its gone within a week or within a year. Kira's however, didn't fade at all. In fact, every day she plans on telling but she ends up failing from embarrassment or convinced by friends not to do so. Considering he was already dating Miss Joke from Ketsubutsu.
Kira often has thoughts of her and Aizawa together, from cuddling to the unholy. Kira has had quite the thoughts from time to time.
Cut to the present day, class 2A was on a field trip for New Years, they went down the coasts of Japan to a beautiful beach to watch the fireworks, Kira was looking at the stars after midnight on the balcony of the hotel they were staying at until she heard some footsteps behind her...
Kira's POV:
I stare into the sky of dancing lights, mind blank and all, just thinking what the future was like. I was in thought when I heard footsteps from behind, they were faint but not too faint. I turn around suddenly to see a man with half-lidded eyes, long, black hair and in some black cat pyjamas of some kind, I couldn't see the printed cat on the shirt considering it was pitch black out here. It was Mr Aizawa, of all people it had to be him.
"What are you doing out so late?" he asked in a dull tone.
It sounded like he had just woke up from a couple of hours of sleep.
"I couldn't get to sleep so I came out here for fresh air" I replied
Aizawa walks up to the railing next to me but a few meters away. I could feel my heart playing swift drum solos on repeat. My face was on fire. I kept my gaze to the view in front of me, watching the stars slowly pass over us. It was an awkward, but comfortable silence for a few moments before Aizawa had broken the silence.
"I presume you're in third year now, considering the past year is now behind us? He asked.
"Uh- yeah!" I stuttered.
"Third year requires much effort and persistence, even All Might could lack behind such requirements, but knowing you, you'll manage nicely" he said with a small smile.
The fire on my cheeks grew, practically my whole face is a wildfire. I fiddle with my thumbs whilst looking at the ground in front of me, this was the PERFECT time to tell him. But I can't, I couldn't
Aizawa's POV:
In the corner of my eye, I see Kira next to me looking at the ground, waving her thumbs over one another. She looked as she was nervous.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
Her expression went from nervous to looking like he had been caught doing something wrong.
"it's nothing, don't worry about it!" she smiled.
She turned back to the view In front of us, this sounded concerning.
"Kira, if there's something wrong you can tell me, I'm not only your teacher but I'm here to help" I told her.
She was a statue, she didn't even flinch. I turn back to face the darkness ahead of me, silence was heard until she spoke.
Kira's POV:
The time was perfect if I only had enough courage-
"Mr Aizawa" I mumbled.
He turned to me with his usual tired expression, honestly, he looked as if he wanted to go back to sleep. I gulped. I can't do this.
"Actually, never mind" I said as I head back inside into the living area.
I ran down the hall to my room, opened and closed the door quietly so I don't wake anyone up. I fell into my bed, mentally punching myself.
"Why was I going to tell him?! He's with someone and he's YOUR TEACHER, why am I so stupid..."
Those words kept circling my head, I scream into my pillow, my muffled screams could be heard through these thin walls. Tears flooded my eyes until I heard a soft knock on the door.
Aizawa's POV:
Kira quickly ran back inside and I was left alone on the balcony. I shove my heads into my warm pockets and decide to head back inside to my room. I walk down the hallway quietly, trying not to wake anyone up until I hear what sounded like a muffled scream coming from one of the rooms I passed. It was Kira's room. I put my ear to the door and heard what was also soft cries. Okay, something is definitely wrong. I knock on the door and the noise of crying stopped flowing into my ears. No answer, I knock again.
"Kira? Are you in there?"
I heard rummaging and the door finally opened to reveal her. Puffy eyes, face stained with tears. She looked as if she was just crying.
Kira's POV:
I managed to wipe the tears off of my face and open the door to see Mr Aizawa standing there.
"Is everything alright?" he asked "I swore I could've heard crying coming from inside your room"
"Everything's good here sensei!" I cheered, ignoring the fact that everything was definitely not good.
I try to close the door, Aizawa thought otherwise. He forced open the door and I just stood there, helpless.
"Kira, look at me, what's wrong?" he asked in a stern voice "I hate seeing you like this"
Tears dared to prick my eyes. I opened my mouth, it had a mind of its own.
"It's just you're so happy with her!" I yelled.
I quickly throw my hand to my mouth, what did I just say?! I couldn't stop myself.
"With who? What are you on about?!" he asked.
Looks like there's no turning back now.
"You and Ms Joke, you two are so happy together, I didn't want to tell you this in the first place because it could ruin your relationship with her.."
Aizawa moved back a bit, still trying to process what he had just heard.
"Aizawa, I love you and I don't I will ever stop loving you until the day I die, probably after that, I will keep loving you" I laughed, also crying at the same time.
Aizawa was still silent, moments before he saw a student crying, now she's confessing to him.
"I didn't want to tell you before but-"
No one's POV:
Kira was still spilling out whatever words her brain could process in the moment until she was stopped by a finger to her lips. Aizawa had soft look to his face, a hint of love but with a hint of regret.
"Kira, I wish I could say the same thing but we both know it's not right, especially since I'm with someone else"
Kira's POV:
I didn't believe the words I was hearing, but he was right. A student-teacher thing wasn't right, even if he wasn't with someone else. Tears started to fill my eyes but I quickly wipe them away before they came flooding out.
"Of course, I understand, I'm sorry for wasting your time," I said quietly, trying to hold back the pain in my voice.
"I'm glad we came to this, I hope something like this happens again in the future, considering it would have both my job and your education on the line" Aizawa said as he began to leave my room.
As the door shuts behind him I fell to my knees, the pain grew larger. Tears finally flooded my eyes, also drenching my once was on fire cheeks. Screams dared to exit my mouth, but I tried my hardest to suppress them. I get up and fling myself into my bed again, I have a feeling this year wasn't going to be the best.
Aizawa's POV:
I sit on my bed, staring at the floor still trying to process what just had happened. My student had just confessed to me, is that normal? Let alone the one I have had a fond of for quite a while now. The truth is, I love her back, but I never accepted her feelings since not only she's a student and I'm a teacher, she's 17 and I'm almost 30. And plus dating someone else on top of that (though I had lost feelings weeks ago). I wouldn't want to risk losing my job and her education. I lie back into my bed and try to clear my thoughts, it wasn't working considering every time my head goes blank she pops into it. I couldn't get to sleep so I decided to head back out to the balcony. After walking down the abandoned hallway, I see someone familiar. Before she was crying, now she was calmly looking out into the ocean, this feels familiar.
Kira's POV:
I had wiped the tears that had flooded my eyes moments before coming out onto the balcony on this cold winters night. Honestly, I could get over this considering its life.
"What are you doing out here?" a familiar tone of voice rang behind me.
I turn my head to my shoulder to see him standing there, still looking tired as ever.
"Just enjoying this peaceful night before it ends" I chuckled.
He comes over and stands next to me, closer than before. I can feel those swift drum solos playing again, I try to keep calm anyway.
"Kira, I'm sorry about before" he said
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have told you anyway" I smiled
"No, you should've" he said
Then suddenly he softly grabs my chin and turned my face towards his. He was closer than ever this time, to the point where there was no space between us.
"I love you too" he said softly before closing the gap between us.
It took me a bit to process what was happening, but I soon gave in and enjoyed the moment. It was short but felt amazing. We broke apart and he looked into my ocean blue eyes, his eyes were the colour of the night sky that surrounded us.
No one's POV:
Kira and Aizawa stand there, him holding her shoulders, her arms grasping under his, just realising what had happened.
Did they regret it? No
Will anyone know if they regretted it? No
Because, their love will never be spoken about, their love is a secret.
Copy and paste? No
More like, Copy and Erase.

Like One for All is passed , I pass on these fic recs
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23189671/chapters/55510960
There is a League spy somewhere in Ryloth High School. Four UA students are selected to find the traitor.
And so Midoriya Izuku goes undercover as an ordinary, Quirkless high schooler
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23577970
A stray blast from a quirk leaves Aizawa MIA for 2 weeks. When he gets back to UA, he isn't alone. He acted as a hero, even while hopping between dimensions.
http://archiveofourown.org/works/23125075/chapters/55334284#workskin
Midoriya and Todoroki just wanted a relaxing trip to go buy new All Might merch. Howevor that goes out the window when the two of them run into one of Midoriya's old middle school teachers. Specifically, the quirkist one who seemed to have it out for Izuku. Midoriya struggles not to regress into his old mindset and Todoroki struggles to help his friend.
http://archiveofourown.org/works/23145532
In an attempt to raise Shouto's spirits, Izuku makes an unannounced visit to the new Todoroki household to ask Fuyumi if she will teach him how to make Shouto's favorite cold soba.
http://archiveofourown.org/works/23153374
Uraraka heads home to congratulate her friend on getting number one. She didn’t realize how worried he was about it.
http://archiveofourown.org/works/23166436
While briefly returning to Japan for a case, Toshinori sets out on the monumental task of grocery shopping. Fortunately, someone is there to save him from his poor decision making skills. Or from accidentally poisoning himself, probably.
http://archiveofourown.org/works/23191612
A Dad Might fic in which Toshinori Yagi goes toe-to-toe with an anti-hero who’s been menacing the people he cares about.
http://archiveofourown.org/works/23194696
Mineta was being his usual annoying self. Midoriya got fed up.
http://archiveofourown.org/works/23288878/chapters/55775314#workskin
Raccoon Eyes slams her palms down on the table. “I’ve got it!” She cries exuberantly, and jabs a finger in Shitty Hair’s face. “Pick dare!” Kirishima looks a bit taken aback by the sudden demand.
“Uh, yeah sure, dare,” he agrees, leaning back in his seat. Ashido grins maniacally and slams her hands down again, but drops her voice. “I dare you to sneak over and get Midori’s journal!” Katsuki feels something twist in his stomach, something buried, forgotten, toxic. “If you bring it over here, he’ll have to come join!”
“Mina, I don’t know if that’s-” Kirishima begins, clearly hesitating as he glances in Deku’s direction.
“You can’t back down from a dare!” Ashido says fiercely. “That’s like, the opposite of manly!” Fuck. Those damn magic words. Katsuki’s not sure why he does it liar, but he turns to face Shitty Hair and grabs the collar of his shirt.
“Don’t,” he growls lowly.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23386324
Midoriya questions his classmates on the quirkless after wondering if they'd still like him if they knew.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23406181
Deku has always been a fanboy, from the time he was young enough to understand that All Might was the best hero to ever exist to him becoming a pro hero. After becoming number one hero, he was invited to host the first year's sports festival.
Deku being Deku.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23375245
Eri was confused. She knew that she had put her socks on her table properly, as Mr. Aizawa had shown her. Then why were they gone if she had packed them away?
https://archiveofourown.org/works/22436452/chapters/53607226
Izuku will never admit to it but the first time he found solace on top of a building that reminded him of how small he is in a world so vast, he wasn't fifteen, or fourteen, or twelve. He wasn't a boy dreaming to be a hero and to be like the Symbol of Peace, nor was he a child who faced too early the cruelty of a world filled with wonders and quirks.
He was ten and he was looking out of their balcony door back at the apartment with his mom after a long day at school and out of childish curiousity, he peered through the cemented wall that separated him and the open space that could've spelled death if he made a mistake. And the view enthralled him - to be in a place so high, to see people walking and rushing and running and being - it allowed him to see a world that filled him with the thought that from this high up, maybe he wasn't the only one that felt so small.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/22988413
Toshinori doesn’t know how long he’s been crying, doesn’t know what was happening around him. He doesn’t see 1-A’s worried glances, misses Aizawa’s shoulder squeeze and Recovery Girl’s gentle pat, misses everything that’s in his field of vision because everything just spelled pain.
And he thought he knew pain, thought he knew loss, thought he knew hurt and anger and brokenness – but the waves crash against him over and over and he finds himself unable to breathe.
Why is the world so intent on taking away those he holds dear?
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23295103
What’s your deal, Midoriya?” And Midoriya blinks at him, surprised, as Hitoshi cuts him off from congratulating him. And he sees the shift in the boy’s eyes and he knows that he’s in for another long-ass round of apology and the weight on his chest is getting heavier and heavier and he doesn’t want to deal with any of that so before Midoriya can rain him a barrage of “I’m sorry” that he doesn’t particularly care about, he adds, “What’s a hero student like you so afraid of that you think everything you do is a mistake against the world?”

https://archiveofourown.org/works/23295379
This is not what Shouta thought he'd find when he went to the common room in the middle of the night, but boy was he glad he was there.
Midoriya gets to the high places of U.A.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23317753?view_adult=true
Izuku goes to visit his mom one weekend, but what he doesn't know is that a certain One For All user is following him.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23323039
Aizawa-sensei, who was always careful; Aizawa-sensei who Izuku had worked to hard to please; Aizawa-sensei who had expected Izuku to get better. And Izuku hadn’t. He’d done it again.
“You didn’t think anyone would help you,” Aizawa-sensei started. Izuku’s throat dried up.
“No,” he whispered.
Or: Izuku tries to hide an injury—a small one—from his teacher. It doesn't go well.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/22650859
“Is there anyone else you want us to call?” Ochako asks gently, and Eri chews on her lip and looks down and away. “Do you want me to call Deku?” Ochako pushes, and it’s worth it for the way Eri’s head snaps back up to her, eyes wide with hope, before she looks away again.
“I’ll send him a text!” Mina pipes up, already having her phone out and typing rapidly on it. “He’s just on the other side of the building, Eri-chan,” she waves the phone at her with a wide smile that squints her eyes shut. “All done, he should be here any min-“
The door to the room slams open, making them all jump and jerk their heads towards it. Ochako brings her fists up instinctively, heart hammering in her throat.
“What’s wrong with Eri?” Deku demands, standing in the doorway, green lightning sparking off his skin, eyes shifting around wildly as if looking for a threat, body braced in a battle stance.
(Or: 5 times Eri falls asleep on Izuku + 1 time Izuku falls asleep on her)
https://archiveofourown.org/works/17513966
Midoriya beams at him and Tokoyami is suddenly hit with the urge to look away. “So bright,” he mutters under his breath, low enough that Midoriya can’t hear him.
(or, Midoriya is a problem child who just really loves his friends)
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23167981
Brace, noun — a device fitted to something to give support.
Izuku is about to graduate, but before that, he needs to try on his hero costume.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23189893
After USJ, Shouta has a few questions for All Might.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23197840
He’d mentioned offhandedly in class that he and All Might were going to make rounds, like U.A. wanted every year, to talk to middle schoolers about heroics, what the program looked like, and to answer any questions about applying and such. Shouta hasn’t been to Aldera before, close as it is; it just hasn’t appeared in his line-up.
But he’d seen Midoriya’s—and Bakugou’s—faces when he’d mentioned Aldera. Bakugou’s features had darkened, and he’d gripped the edge of his seat tightly. But Midoriya had gone perfectly blank.
Or: Aizawa meets Midoriya's middle school teacher, who seems to have an alarming view of his former student.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23243284
It isn't unusual to see pro hero Deku wearing merch for his fellow friends and heroes, but for his birthday, the former class 3-A flips the script.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23241424
“You don’t understand,” Shouta says, wanting to be anywhere but here. “We cannot do this. I physically cannot do this.” “Unfortunately—or rather fortunately,” All Might interrupts, smiling, “the principal’s already approved this. He said it would be, a… how did he phrase it, Yamada?” “A good bonding exercise!” Hizashi’s grinning, sly like a cat. “Shouta, it’s gonna be so fun, I promise.”
When Class 1-A is stuck at U.A. for summer vacation due to a villain threat, the teachers decide to start some fun. Unfortunately for Aizawa, he's included.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23592571
After Kamino. Toshinori feels weighed down with the knowledge that the world now knows his true form. He’s lost the last of One for All, and he can no longer be a hero. Nonetheless, he'll continue to support his successor and he won't let Izuku face the brunt of his burden alone.
Or: DadMight. That’s it. That’s the story.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23226532
“You deserve—”
“No, no,” Mirio says, waving his hands, “that’s not what I’m asking. Why do you, hm, why do you want to give your Quirk away? You don’t want it?”
Izuku can’t breathe. The guilt’s been eating at him; it’s been a glass shard in his chest since he was in the hospital, since Mirio took the bullet, since the look that the others had given him when Mirio had explained he didn’t have a Quirk anymore.
Or, Izuku and Mirio have a discussion about One for All.

Erase the Shadow: Chapter 6
Please remember, this fic is rated explicit and has warnings of sex, violence, and other possible triggers.
***If you prefer reading off AO3 here’s the link for that: https://archiveofourown.org/works/22027552/chapters/53505043
A little info:  Shadow (reader/Teris) is known as the Darkness Hero. She can pull shadows/darkness and condense it.  Currently in the story, she has difficultly doing so on her own as it takes a lot of effort and energy, which is why she uses obsidian rings and blades to pull and direct the dark.  Using her quirk makes her eyes dilate, which is why she patrols at night and wears goggles.
6.1
Teris woke up the next morning still wrapped in Hizashi's arms.  Nuzzling deeper into his chest, she basked in his embrace until nature demanded she get up.  Giving his slightly parted lips a gentle kiss, she got out of bed.
Her boyfriend had certainly made her feel special last night.  Even now she could feel herself blush at the way he had worshiped her body. And the things he had said…  She was not that beautiful.  And, she most definitely wasn’t as great as he had proclaimed.  Still, a part of her was near giddy, and glad that he thought so.  And she selfishly hoped she could keep him believing she was that great.
Even so, there was a part of her that still worried over the speed of their relationship.  But she shook that off, telling herself that she was just being silly.
She had known Hizashi for years.  Had liked and fantasied over him for years.  And as unlikely as she found it, he had apparently felt and done the same with her.  There was nothing wrong with a fast moving relationship.  Besides, they lived in different cities.  That distance would slow them down.  It wasn’t as if she would be moving to Musutafu and going to work a UA; at least not for another school year.
Stepping out into the main living space, her muscles tensed.  Why was the front door ajar?
Shit.
She eyed her sheathed obsidian blades that rested on the small table by the door, along with the slim knuckle bars that aided her in hand to hand combat with larger foes.  At least she never took off the obsidian rings around her index fingers.
A warm breeze from outside blew the door open another fraction of an inch.  The creak of its hinges sounded abnormally loud in the quite space.
It was then that she remembered that she hadn’t locked the door last night; in fact, she hadn’t closed it.
She had entered the apartment before Hizashi, glancing back at him with a hungry, seductive look while slipping one of the spaghetti straps off her shoulder.  He had slammed the door closed and chased her to the bedroom.  The door must not have caught.  It was prone to that, which was another reason why she always locked it.
Relaxing slightly, she moved to the door to shut and lock it.
Her hand reached for the knob then stopped when a shadow blocked the light from outside.  The shadow remained, so it wasn’t a passing neighbor.
On the other side of the door, Todoroki Enji readied his flames.  He’d rather not burn his suit, but a slightly open door in a bad part of town…
Enji kicked the door open, bursting inside.
Without her goggles, Teris was grateful that the massive size of the intruder blocked most of the incoming light.  Her eyes dilated as she activated her quirk, ropes of darkness seeming to spring from her rings.
“Bloody hell, Shadow!”  An all too familiar voice cursed.
“Endeavor!” She released her quirk, the near black tendrils wrapped tightly around the other hero fading away.  Lifting a hand to shield her eyes, she squinted at the man at the door.  “What the hell!”
“The door was open.  I thought--”
Enji’s words were cut off by Hizashi rushing out of the bedroom.  “Ris! Wha--”
The Voice Hero skidded to a halt beside Teris, nearly tripping over the sheet wrapped around his waist.  Straightening his glasses, he stared at the near giant standing just inside his girlfriend’s front door. Endeavor?  What was the number two hero doing here?
Enji broke the moment of stunned silence by stating the obvious.  “You have company.”
Teris wrapped her robe tighter around herself, grateful she had that and Hizashi's tourist tee on.  “Yes!  So if you’d--”
“We’ll talk outside then.”  Enji said, turning and stepping out into the open air walkway.  He looked back taking in the two’s dress, or lack there of, and cleared his throat.  “Feel free to take a moment to get dressed and deal with your… guest.”
As soon as the door closed Teris turned to Hizashi.  “I’m sorry. I--  He...”
“Babe! What’s the number two hero doing here?”  His eyes skimmed over her.  “And you let him in in nothing but a t-shirt and open robe!”
Teris bristled at that.  “I didn’t let him in.  Someone didn’t make sure the door was shut and locked last night.”
Hizashi cringed.  “Sorry.  I was focused on other things.”
“So was I.”  She breathed out, softening.
She couldn’t really fault Hizashi.  This was her place.  It’s security was her responsibility.  Besides, it was rather flattering that her boyfriend had been so desirous of her that he had forgotten to secure the door.
Dressed, Teris stepped outside closing the door behind her.
“This is the first time I’ve stopped by and found you with a guest.” Enji remarked, his back turned to her.
“You shouldn’t have stopped by at all.  You shouldn’t even know my address.  I told you the last time, and the time before tha--”
“I can understand that the end of school year workload must get to you.” Enji cut in, turning around.  “But Present Mic?  Really Shadow? You can--”
“I can what?”  Teris challenged.  “You have no business commenting on who I’m with.”
Enji’s eyes narrowed at her statement.
“You have no business being here, period.”  She went on.
“I heard the latest from the Hero Commission.”
“All the more reason--”
“For you to agree to my proposal.”  Enji finished for her.
Hizashi balked at that.  He hadn’t meant to listen in on his girlfriend’s conversation.  Okay, he had totally meant to listen in.  But who could blame him?  Teris had been evasive as to why Endeavor was there, only telling him that she would deal with it and asking that he get breakfast started.
“I already told you--”
“You’ll be out of a job by this time next year.”  Enji spoke over her. “Don’t tell be you couldn’t use the extra money.  I’ve already stated, I am willing to pay triple your asking fee.”
“It’s call a tuition fee, and I don’t ask more than my student's family can afford.”
“Good thing I can afford more than the average family.”
Teris ground her teeth at his haughty pride.  “But your son wouldn’t be my student, would he.  He’s two years too young to be eligible to enter the hero course.”
“I’m asking that you tutor him, Shadow.  Not instruct him.”
“It’s the same thing, Endeavor!”
“Only if you look at it that way.”
“I do.  And so will the Hero Commission.  They’ve already made things exceedingly difficult on me.  And after I report this they’ll make things all the harder.  Do you know how hard it is to teach when there’s some paper pusher from the Hero Commission sitting in on your lesson, distracting your student?  I don’t need their extra scrutiny.  They come by and disturb things once a month as it is.”
Enji glowered down at her.
He hadn’t considered that she would report any of this.  He would rather not have the Hero Commission know he was looking to have Shoto instructed before he was of age.  Though at most he would be admonished and fined.  His hero rank, family name, and wealth would protect him from any real discipline.  Still, it was the image of the thing.  While the Hero Commission would keep his actions quiet, the higher ups would know.
“If it will make matters more difficult on you, why report it?”
“Because it’s part of the rules I agreed to when I became a hero course instructor.  Because if they found out that you asked me to do this and I didn’t report it I would be out of a job.”
“You’ll be out of a job this time next year.”  Enji dismissed.
“They’ll take away my teaching license, Endeavor.  I won’t be able to teach anyone.”
“I don’t care about faceless anyone's.  I want my son taught by the best.”
“Then write him a letter of recommendation and send it in to UA.”  She argued.
I will, Enji thought.  But UA wouldn’t take Shoto till he was finished with secondary school.
He sighed.  He had figured Teris would put up a fight.  She was a principled hero after all.  But after the latest news about private instruction of the hero course had come out, he had thought that she might be more receptive and so had paid her this third visit.
Shadow might not have been a well known or high ranking pro hero, but Enji had seen her record.  She was one of the best underground hero's in Japan.  And her student’s records were on par with that of graduates from the top hero school in the nation, UA.  He didn’t want his son become an underground hero, but he saw the merit in Shoto knowing the workings of the field.  And with him too busy to focus on the boys instruction as much as he wanted, Teris taking Shoto on would be of benefit.
Crossing his arms, Enji stepped forward, towering over her.  “I urge you to reconsider, Shadow.  It would be a shame if things were made more difficult on you.  Especially when you mentioned last time how the Hero Commission was looking for any little thing to shut private instructors down.  I can only imagine the disruption it would cause you and your students if you were audited.  From the sound of it, if they found so much as one tiny thing out of place you’d be out of a job before they decided to end private instruction all together. Never mind that your teaching license would most definitely be revoked.”
Teris blinked up at the man, struggling not to show her distress.  “So because I won’t break the rules and agree to teach your son, you’re threatening to have me audited.  Are you serious?”
Enji shrugged his massive shoulders.  “I was merely commenting what shame it would be if--”
Having heard enough, Hizashi threw the door open and stepped outside.  “Hey! That’s no way to treat a lady!”
Enji’s eyes slid over to the Voice Hero.  “Anyone ever tell you it’s rude to interrupt a conversation?”
Hizashi stepped in front of Teris.  “Yeah, well your conversation’s over, so I suggest you take a hike.”
“I’ll leave when I’m done talking to Shadow.  So I suggest you turn around and go back inside, Mic.”
“I’m trying to be polite here, Big Guy.  But if you’d rather I leave you nothing more than a big red splatter, I can do that too.”
Teris’ eyes widened.  Had Hizashi just threatened to kill the number two hero?  A part of her was horrified.  Another part furious that her boyfriend had clearly been listening in and intervened thinking she needed his assistance.  But there was yet another, greater part that drowned all that out.
“So I’ll say it again.”  Hizashi continued.  “Conversation’s over, take a hike.  Now!”
Teris felt the concrete vibrate beneath her feet at Hizashi's last word, his quirk edging into his voice.
Teeth gritted, Enji’s lip curled up; but he didn’t challenge further. He would leave Shadow to think about what he had said, and wait for her call of apology and acceptance.
As soon as Enji disappeared around the corner, Hizashi relaxed.  He had no clue what he would have done if Endeavor had refused to leave; cause let’s face it, he couldn’t shock wave the number two hero to mush.  Well, he could.  But he was a pro hero himself, not a villain.
He felt Teris move away and turned around, following her inside.  This time he made sure to lock the door behind him.
“I’m sorry, Babe.  I know--”
Teris threw her arms around him.  “Thank you!”
Hizashi felt her tremble against him and the tension in his body returned. Endeavor had threatened his sweet, beautiful girlfriend.  Todoroki Enji had entered Teris’ home uninvited.  Demanded to speak with her.  And proceeded to threaten her while he had stood on the other side of the door doing nothing.
His arms wrapped around her waist.  “I’m sorry I didn’t step in sooner, Babe.  I should've--”
She shook her head against his chest.  “No.  I--”
Teris tried to fight back her tears.  She felt silly.  She wasn’t usually this emotional.  But, Endeavor had threatened her job.  A job she loved and got so much satisfaction from.  She loved each of her students, past and present, and would die to protect any one of them.
Hizashi felt tears dampen his shirt.  His own muscles trembled, his arms tightening around her.  Endeavor had made his Baby cry!  That bastard had...  He gritted his teeth, growling.
He wanted to march out of the apartment and find Todoroki.  He would make sure the man never bothered his Girl again.  But Teris needed him, and he’d be damned if he would leave her alone, scared and upset.
“It’s okay, Ris Wren.  I got you, Babe.  I’m right here.”  He hand smoothed over her hair, the other petting up and down her back.  “I got you, Love.  I’m not going anywhere.”
He rocked and soothed her, whispering words of love and reassurance till she had gathered herself enough to pull her face away from his chest.
“I’m sorry.”  Teris sniffed, wiping harshly at her eyes.
Why had she cried?  She was so stupid and weak.
“Baby! Don’t apologize!  If someone had entered my home and threatened my job, I’d be scared and furious too.”
“It’s not like it’s the first time it’s happened.”  She muttered.
Hizashi struggled not to crush her in his arms.  It wasn’t Teris he was mad at.  It wasn’t her he wanted to hurt.  Worried that he wouldn’t be able to control himself, he let her go, his hands fisted at his side.
“How many times has he come by bugging you about this?”
“This is the third.”  She exhaled, combing her hair back with a hand.
“Third! And you’ve yet report him!  Baby!”
“I know!  But the first time he visited demanding I take his son on, I was working on planning and sending in the paperwork for end exams. And the second, I was struggling to complete the end of year paperwork the Hero Commission demands from private instructors.  I just haven’t had the time.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
The wounded look in Hizashi's eyes filled her with shame and guilt. “Cause you’d worry.”
“Of course I would!”
“You had you own workload to deal with.  You work three jobs.  It’s a wonder you find time the to talk to, let alone be with me.  I didn’t want to be another thing tugging at you for time and attention.”
“Another thing tugging... Baby!  When it comes to you, I have all the time in the world!  And if I somehow don’t, I’ll make it.  Don’t you ever not come to me cause you think I’m busy.  I don’t care if it’s a hangnail or glitch in your favorite mp3.  Especially if it’s a glitch in you favorite mp3.  You come to me.”
She chuckled softly at that, Hizashi's heart lightening at her smile.
He cupped her cheek, thumb smoothing over her soft skin.  “You’ll never be a bother to me,  Ris.  It’s a literal impossibility.
“Thank you, Zashi.”
“I’m serious!”
He hugged her and kissed the top of her head.  He was tempted to tell her that he loved her, but it somehow felt predatory.  He didn’t want the memory of his confession to be tainted by the scare she had just had.
“Come on.  Let’s get you packed.  We can pick up some breakfast on the way to the station.”
Teris pulled her head back, eyebrows knitting together.  “What?”
“Well you can’t stay here, Babe.  Not after what just happened.”
“I’m not running from my home, Zashi.”
“Who said anything about running?  You’re merely coming to stay with me, while we file the report of Endeavor’s visit.”
“Hizashi. I can’t.  I have patrol.”
“I’m sure whoever you got to cover for you next week can cover this week as well.”
“As well?  You mean you want me to stay this and next week at your place?”
“And the one after.  Just to make sure the matter is handled and it’s safe for you to return.”
“Hizashi, I told you.  I’m not running from my home.  I can take care of--” Her words cut off in a gasp.
Hands grabbing her ass, Hizashi pressed his leg between hers.  “Don’t be a stubborn little bird, Ris.  I know you can take care of yourself.  But isn’t it nice when others care for you too?”
She bit her bottom lip, stifling a moan as he ground the front of his thigh into her core.
“Hum?” He asked, arching an eyebrow.
When she didn’t answer, his right hand lifted and came down with smack that echoed about the room.
Teris gripped his shoulders, nails digging in.  “Zashi!”
“I asked you a question, Pretty Bird.  Isn’t it nice when others care for you too?”  He grabbed her tender butt cheek at little too hard.
“Yes!” She exclaimed, hands fisting and pulling at the sleeves of his tee shirt.
He smiled down at her, easing his hold and massaging her stinging butt cheek.
“But in this instance, it’s not necessary.”
Hizashi's smile faded.  “For a moment I thought you were gonna make this easy.  I should've known you were gonna be a stubborn brat.  You’ve always been difficult and prideful.”
“I’m not--”  She was cut off by another slap to her ass.
“Don’t contradict me, Little Bird.”  He gripped her chin, lifting her face to him.  “Now, are you gonna go pack?  Or are we gonna to this the fun way?”
“Zashi, I don’t--”
He bent his knees and picked her up over his shoulder, grinning at her squeal.
“Yamada Hizashi!”
“Fun way it is.”  He staggered, struggling a bit with her writhing body and kicks.  “Settle down!”  He spanked her twice in quick succession.  “You’re gonna enjoy this.  I’ll see to it.”
“Zashi! Hizashi.  Put me down!”
He made for the bedroom and tossed her on the bed.
Pushing her hair out of her face, Teris looked up at him.  Her pussy clamped down around nothing.  She was turned on by his treatment and wanted to see where it would lead.
Hizashi’s grin grew, when she didn’t crawl away or attempt to get out of bed. His hand slid up up leg.   “Tell me you want it, Ris.  Tell me you want me to convince you to pack up and leave with me.”
She blew out a puff of air.  “I’d like to see you try to convince me.”
Hizashi groaned, his hardening cock twitching in his briefs.  He looked about the room, wishing he had brought some of his toys; at the very least, his padded cuffs.
Sighing, he pushed down his pajama pants, thinking they would have to do.
“Hands together, Beautiful.”
“What?”
“You said you wanted to see me try, didn’t you.”
“But...” Teris stared the cotton jersey pants he held.  Was he really going to tie her up?
Her legs squeezed together, the thought of being at his mercy heightening her arousal.  She whimpered at the feeling of her juices dampening her panties.
“This is totally your call, Ris.  Say no, and the show’s over before it’s begun.  Say yes, and I’ll entertain you in ways that’ll leave you begging for an encore.”  His tongue vibrated in his mouth readying to give her a ride she’d never forget.
After their first time together, he had thought he would show her what he could do when they were ready to go again; but he hadn’t.  He still hadn’t.  There wasn’t a definite reason why.  It was simply that using his quirk like that took a certain amount of focus and control. And with Teris, he always had difficultly controlling himself.
But now, he smiled wickedly down at her.  Now, he would show her exactly what he could do.  He would show her just how good he could make her feel.
Come on, Baby.  Hizashi silently urged.  Let me show you.  Let me convince you.  I’ll have you pleading to pack your bags and come stay with me.  And once I have you at my place, with all of my toys… Oh, the the things he was going to do to her.
Teris brought her wrists together, holding her arms out to him.
“You sure?  I don’t wanna do anything you’re uncomfortable with.” Silently Hizashi begged, please, please, say you’re sure.
“If I wasn’t sure I wouldn’t be holding my hands out for you to tie them.”  She snipped.
Damn, she hated being weak.  Hated needing other people’s help, or being at their mercy.  So why the hell did this idea turn her on so much?
“Little Wren’s in a mood.”  Hizashi teased, tying her arms together.
“You’re pretty good at that.”  Teris commented as he worked.  “Tied many girls up with your pajama pants, have you?”
The muscle in Hizashi's jaw ticked for a moment.  “Not a one.  I’m just seriously invested in this and the outcome it’ll bring.  Now lay out in bed properly and get comfortable.”
“Bossy.”
“You have no idea, Baby.”
As she did what he said, Hizashi made sure she was aware of the traffic light signal, and had her tell him what each color meant.
“Some find it easier than a safeword, cause everyone knows red means stop.” He said, tying her bound wrist to the headboard.  “But if you have or want one…”
“Baka.”
“Did you just call me an idiot?”
“It’s my safeword.  Not that I’ve ever been in a situation that required one.”
Hizashi’s smile took over his face.  “You’re telling me, that despite never being in a scene that needed a safeword you’ve thought enough about it to have one ready?  Oh, Baby!  I should’ve tied you up weeks ago!”
“Zashi, stop it.”  She tired to duck her face into her arm, looking to hide the blush warming her cheeks.
Why did she tell him that?  Why did she have a safeword if she hated this, hated being helpless?
“Don’t be embarrassed, Babe!”
Wanting to change the subject, Teris looked down at her fully clothed frame. “Shouldn’t you have at least taken off my top and bra?”
Hizashi grinned devilishly as he moved to kneel between her legs.  “I know what I’m doing, Babe.”
“So you have done this before.”
Hizashi's expression tightened.  He didn’t know why she brought up his past experiences like that, but he didn’t like it.  She never mentioned or asked about anyone in particular, but that wasn’t the issue.  He didn’t want to recall that there had been others before her.  No matter the lessons those women had taught him, he wanted there to have only been Teris; because that’s all they had ever been in his mind.  Teris.  Or at least stand-ins for her.
He also didn’t like to remember that she had been with others before him.  Just the thought of it made him...
“I’ve done this to you every night in my dreams for years, Baby.”  He said, leaning down and kissing her.  “Now to be clear, I’m doing this to convince you to come away with me.”
“You make it sound so romantic, Hizashi.”
“You want romance, Babe?  I’ll romance the hell out of you when we get to Musutafu.  But first you have to agree to pack your bags and come with me.”
“I already agreed to go with you.  Next week.”
“That’s not gonna cut it any more.  You’re coming with me now.”
“I doubt Endeavor will comeback.”  She argued.
“It’s the look of the thing, Ris!”
“Hizashi. Who am I gonna get to cover my patrol this week at such short notice?”
“I’ll take care of that, Babe.  You just pack your bags and hop on that train with me.”
“Fine.” She sighed.
Hizashi found himself both excited and disappointed.
“Convince me then.”  She said, lifting her head and giving him a quick peck.
“Oh, Baby!  Get ready for the greatest edge of your seat convincing of you life.”  He leaned down and kissed her.
Teris readily returned the kiss, her mouth opening to welcome his tongue.
He moved his tongue slowly in and out of her mouth, lapping at the sweet taste of her.  And to think her lower lips were sweeter still.  Just the thought of her arousal's taste had blood pumping straight to his cock.
Hizashi groaned into her mouth, pressing his hardening length against her thrumming core.
Teris moaned, and Hizashi took the chance to suck her tongue into his mouth.
She moaned again, eyes opening and locking with his. Never afraid to be vocal, Hizashi moaned in returned; the sounds made making his now fully erect dick throb.
He pressed himself harder against her.  He could feel her heated dampness growing between her legs.  Just the thought of how wet she must be in order for him to feel it had him wanting to rip off her clothes and fuck her to oblivion.
Hizashi had never been very good at denying himself.  What with five older sisters who had dotted on and spoiled him, and a mother who had been nearly as bad, he was used to getting what he wanted when he wanted it. But he was going to do his best to deny himself now.
“You’re beautiful, Ris. So fucking perfect.”  He kissed down her neck, licking and biting.
“Zashi. No marks higher than the collar.”
“School year’s over, Babe. What are you worried about.”  He gave the sensitive spot behind her earlobe a hard biting suck.
“Ah! Zashi!”  Her body arched up to him.
“You say no marks, but your body seems to like it, Wren.”
“Doesn’t—matter what—I like.”  She took a moment to recover from the pained pleasure.  “I can’t go into the Hero Commission with hickey’s on my neck.”
His lower lip scrapped against his mustache. She had a point there.
“Fine. I got time enough to claim you where others can see later.”
He moved down her body, pushing up her shirt and leaving two wet spot in her bra where he had sucked and nipped at her nipples.  His fingers dipped beneath the waistband of her shorts.
“Lift those pretty hips for me, Beautiful.”
With her shorts and panties off, Hizashi paused to take in the sight of her.
“Damn, you have such a pretty pussy, Baby.”
“Zashi!” Teris’ cheeks heated.
She tried to close her legs but he held her open.  “It’s nothing to be embarrassed about, Ris Wren.”
His hands glided up her thighs, then traveled back down, nails digging in and leaving red lines in her tender flesh.
She hissed, hips dancing.
“I could look at you laid out like this for me forever.” His hands smoothed back up her thighs.
Teris whined, thrusting up slightly when his thumbs lightly brushed the folds of her cunt only for his hands to move away and grip her hips.
He chuckled at her attempt to bring her legs together so she could squeeze against her need.  “What’s the matter, Baby?  Somethin’ you need? Tell me what it is you want.”
When she didn’t answer, he leaned down and bit just below the junction of her pelvis.
Teris gasped at the mix of pain and heightened arousal that shot through her system.
Hizashi gave a long, hard suck before releasing the inner, upper most part of her leg.  He lapped at the bite mark soothing what would surely become a bruise.  Moving, he gave the other side the same treatment, minus the sharp bite.
Without warning, his tongue licked a long stripe up her cunt then plunged inside.
“Fu-- Za—ah!”  Head thrown back, Teris’ hips bucked.
Hizashi's long, nimble tongue dipped deeper, swirling and circling inside her.
Her walls clamped down around the intruding muscle, as it prodded her most intimate parts.  His tongue was so hot and wet, it left her panting. She pulled at her restraints, needing to touch him.  Needing to grab his hair and keep him in place.
Ignoring the pre-cum that wet his underwear, Hizashi alternated between wiggling and flattening his tongue every time he thrusted it into her tight hole.
“Zashi.” Her hips bucked again and he stopped.  She whined.  “Fuck me, Zashi.  Please.”
“Does that mean you’re ready to pack your bags and come with me?”  He asked, pushing her hips down.
She made a noise of detestation, and turned her face away.
“My pretty Songbird still needs convincing, huh. No worries, Babe. The show hasn’t even started.”  He pulled the hair tie from his around wrist and gathered his hair into a messy low bun.  “Honestly, I’d be a disappointed if you caved at the warm up.”
His tongue vibrated within his mouth, readying for what he was about to do.  He was so excited.  He couldn’t wait to hear the tune his girl would sing when he showed her what he’d been holding back all this time.
He lowered his face back between her legs, and breathed in deeply. Damn, he loved the smell of her.  It made his cock twitch and mouth water.  He stared in awe as his fingers spread her open.  She was so beautiful.  She had the prettiest pussy he had ever seen.  And, much as he hated to admit it, he had seen his fair share.
Hungry again for the taste he had grown addicted to, Hizashi licked his lips before wrapping them around her clit.  His tongue lapped at her once.  Twice.  And then...
“Za—ahh—shiiii!” Teris cried.
Her body went rigid and she sat up in bed as far as her bound hands allowed.
Bingo. Hizashi thought, tongue vibrating lowly against her clit.
“Fu—uck! Za—Zash--”
His tongue vibrated at a lower frequency.
Teris fell back into bed, body writhing in pleasure.  She was so close. This would be the fastest she had ever orgasmed, or it would have been if he hadn’t stopped.
She lifted her head, looking down at him. “Wha— Why—why did you stop?”
The look of confused, disappointment on her face nearly had Hizashi lowering his head to finish her off.  Along with not liking delayed gratification, he was terrible at making others wait as well.
Her arms pulled against the pajama pants, but he had tied her in such a way that there was no getting free.
“Remember what were doing here, Love.  You wanna cum, you gotta agree to come with me.”
“Hizashi!” Her hips swayed, body rolling like a tidal wave.  “Let me go.  Untie me.”
“You wanna tap out with your safeword, Babe? Tell me your color.”
Huffing, she threw her head back onto the pillow.
Knowing she wasn’t anyway near ready to stop, Hizashi gave her thigh a stinging spank.
Teris jumped.  “Fuck!”
“Color.” Hizashi demanded, spanking her other thigh.
“Green. Green!”
“There’s a good girl.”  He praised.
Cooing at her, he lowered and pressed a kiss to each red mark on her thigh.
“Zashi. Please.  Do that thing again.”
He smiled against her wet heat.  “You liked that, did you, Baby?”
Biting her lower lip, she nodded her head.  “I didn’t know you could do something like that.”
“Now you get why I sweated getting my tongue pierced and didn’t do it?”
She nodded again.
“Tell me you like it, Wren.”
“I like it.”
“Tell me you love it and I’m the best vibrator you’ve ever had.”
“I love it, Zashi.  You’re the best fucking vibrator I’ve ever had.  Please.  Please, do it again.”
“Gladly, Love.”
Hizashi was rutting against the mattress by the time he pulled his face away, once again leaving her hanging near the edge.
“No! Zashi!  Don’t stop.”
“I already told you, Baby. If you don’t agree to come stay with me, you don’t get to cum.”
“I already agreed to go!”  She hollered, beginning to feel desperate.
“Not next week, Ris. Now.  Today.  Tell me you’ll pack up and come stay with me for at least these two weeks, then I’ll let you cum. Come on, Ris Wren. Give me this peace of mind.”
Hizashi wasn’t really looking for peace of mind.  If she stayed, he would be staying with her, just as they had planned. But, Endeavor’s visit had given him a chance to have Teris’ attention solely focused on him for two weeks.
Once he got her to his place she wouldn’t have to go on patrol.  She would be far removed from the distractions of any open cases too. They could do whatever they wanted.  They could go out and party, and return home to have sex till they could barely move, then do it all over again the next night.
His thumb pressed against her swollen clit.
“Zashi! Please!  Please, Sunshine, let me cum.”
“You know the rules, Pretty Bird.  You agreed to them.”
“I didn’t agree to this!”
“You told me to convince you.  This, is me convincing you.”
She pulled futilely at her bonds. “It’s not fair.”
“Agreed. It’s not fair that you’re being stubborn and denying us what we both want.  I’m just looking out for you, Babe.  What kind of boyfriend would I be if I left you here after some massive dick wad broke into your apartment and threatened you?”
“Zashi...” That wasn’t how it happened; but before she could correct him, he had plunged his tongue inside her.
The vibrations made her head spin.  Her body tensed, hips bucking.  The waves of pleasure quickly rose, dragging her back to the edge.
As soon as he stopped, her head thrashed back and forth.  “I can’t take it, Zashi! Please!  Let me cum.”
“Color?”
She turned her head away.
“Color, Ris.”
“Green.”
“Then you can obviously take it.  Can’t you, Babe?”
She had never been edged before, and had often rolled her eyes when the smut she read to help get herself off had edging in it.  It couldn’t be that bad, she had thought. Though she very rarely teased herself, it was do to a lack of time and energy, not control.  But here she was, being edged by one of the two sexiest, most handsome men she could imagine and it was absolute torture.
“Fine. I’ll go.”
Hizashi’s hands tightened around her hips.  Really?  She would go?  She would spend two whole weeks with him at his place.  With no hero work or patrols to steal her attention away.
“Yeah! Oh, Baby!  We’re gonna have the best time.  Just you wait!  But first,” he grinned down at her, “your reward for being such an agreeable Little Bird.  How do you want it, Baby?”
The thought of cumming on his vibrating tongue was tempting, but she wanted his body pressed against hers. His mouth on hers.  His hot breath fanning her neck and breasts as he panted and said dirty things to her. She wanted his cock.  His long cock with its piercings that rolled and rubbed against her walls in all the right ways.
“I want you to fuck me with your dick.”
Hizashi whined, his body practically vibrating with excitement.  More pre-cum leaked out, wetting his underwear.  Damn.  He hoped he could last.
“Your wish is my command, Baby.”
“Wish you had said that before I agreed.”  She grumbled.
How the hell was she going to find someone to cover her patrol for another week?  And at such short notice.  That concern fled her mind as soon as Hizashi's cock sprung free.
“Untie me.  Let me touch it.”
“Such a needy Little Bird.”  Hizashi taunted, stroking himself.  If he let her touch him, he was finished.  And so he said.  “Next time, Ris.”
He didn’t begin untie her until he was buried deep inside her.
Giving them both time to adjust, he undid the knots holding her arms together.  As soon as her hands were free, they were in his hair.
She pulled out his hair tie, tossing it blindly.  “I love your hair.  It’s so soft.”
“I--” He stopped, and kissed her.
He had just gotten her to agree to spend two weeks with him, he wasn’t going to chance ruining it by telling her he loved her.  She wasn’t ready.  It could wait.  He, would wait.  As much as he hated waiting, she was worth waiting for.
He broke the kiss and smiled down at her.  “You like the taste of yourself on my lips, Wren? I fucking love the taste of you.  Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.”
“Zashi.” Her hands gripped his shoulders, hips wiggling beneath him.
He grinned, knowing exactly what she wanted. “What’s the matter, Babe?”
“Move. Please.”
“You want me to fuck you, Ris?”
“Yes. Please.”
“Are you sure you’re ready, Baby?  I don’t think I can hold back.  You got me all riled up.”
She hadn’t known what he meant by that; but as soon as his hips pulled back and slammed against hers, she understood.
“Zashi!” Her nails dug into him, making him hiss.
“That’s it, Baby.  Scream for me.”
He pounded into her, the headboard knocking against the wall.  The sound of his balls slapping rhythmically against her accompanied that of their slamming hips, and a wet squelching.
“Thousand points if you can name the song I’m fucking into you.”  He panted.
She was so worked up that that’s all it took.  Teris cried out, walls clenching down around him.
Hizashi’s hips staggered.
“Damn! You’re. So. Fucking.  Tight.”  He punctuated his words with rough thrusts that took her breath away.
“Za—Zashiii.” Teris wheezed, eyes rolling.
“You feel so good, Babe.  Trying to milk my cock.  I’ll give you my cum soon enough.”
Hizashi's eyes lowered to her bouncing breasts, his planted right hand took his weight while his left pulled at her bra.
The sound of fabric ripping tore through the room.
His mouth latched onto her pebbled nipple, tongue vibrating against it.
“Za—ahh!”
He grabbed her hair, pulling her head back.  “You sing so good for me, Wren.”
His full weight laid against her.  His other hand spanked at her thigh.
It hurt so good.  Her second orgasm was quickly upon her.
His thrusts grew rougher, harder.  He would've been fucking the breath out of her if she had air in her lungs.
Her nails dug into his back, legs useless for anything but to remain locked around his waist.
Her orgasm crashed over her, her spasming cunt pulling Hizashi over the edge with her.
His teeth sunk into her collarbone as he painted her insides white.
Teris cried soundlessly, gasping for air.
The rocking of his hips slowed, as he propped himself off her.
Teris sucked in lungfuls of air.
Hizashi massaged her tender scalp, as they both caught their breath.
“Sorry, Baby.  Was that too much?”
Teris shook her head.
“No? Your sure?  I think I might've bruised you up a bit.”
“Did I once try to stop you?”  She gave a contented sigh, and pulled him down for a kiss. “It was… amazing, Zashi.”
Hizashi pulled out, groaning at the loss of her tight, wet heat. “Why don’t I start us a bath?  We could finish off those pastries I brought yesterday.  Then I can help you pack.”
Teris scowled at the mention of packing.
Noticing Hizashi kissed her gently.  “You agreed, Ris.  Or do I need to convince you again?”
“Oh, you’re totally doing that thing with your tongue again.”
Hizashi rolled onto his back, chuckling. “With pleasure, Babe.  With pleasure.”
I'm not all that happy with the way this chapter turned out, but I hope you all found some enjoyment out of it.
I've been sick, so any comments would be very much appreciated.  It really is the only thing that encourages me to keep editing and posting, otherwise I'd just be writing without a care for myself.
Thank you to those who have left hearts.  And a special thank you to those who have left comments or re-blogged.  They really mean a lot.
As always, an extra special thank you to @inorganicone2230 for their encouragement and friendship.  This fic was my personal guilt pleasure, and without them never be getting posted.

U.A. High School Field Trip Around Japan: Day 1 Translations
To celebrate My Hero Academia reaching one hundred million copies worldwide, Shonen Jump is releasing special illustrations in the newspapers of Japan's 47 prefectures, calling it "U.A. High School Field Trip Around Japan." It's being rolled out daily across one-week.
The schedule is:
April 4th, Day 1: Hokkaidō & Tōhōku regions
April 5th, Day 2: Kantō region
April 6th, Day 3: Chūbu region
April 7th, Day 4: Kansai region
April 8th, Day 5: Chūgoku & Shikoku regions
April 9th, Day 6: Kyūshū & Okinawa regions
April 10th, Day 7: Nationwide release
You can see the illustrations on their website here, where they are released digitally the day after their newspaper release, so Day 1 and Day 2 are available right now.
The illustrations depict charming scenes between Class 1-A about something related to each prefecture's culture or history, so I thought it would be really fun to translate them and share a little bit about Japan.
Here we go!
Note: As I mentioned, the illustrations are available on the official site, but they are all rather small, which makes them hard to read, so in this post I have included photographs from fans which I used for my translations. Every photo was available publicly on twitter and I have credited the posters, but please be respectful and don't draw undue attention to these fans. If anyone contacts me wishing for their photo to be removed, I will do so.

Iida: "Heroes! Be ambitious!!' Aizawa: "I'm leaving you behind."
Iida is standing in front of the statue of William S. Clark at Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill, a scenic spot in Sapporo. Clark worked with the Japanese government to found Sapporo Agricultural College (now Hokkaidō University) in 1876; he is a very famous figure in the history of the region. The statue is inscribed with a quote attributed to him as he left Japan: "Boys, be ambitious!"

Dark Shadow: "Fumikage!! I GOT ONE!!" Tokoyami: "The allure of forbidden fruit which tastes so sweet..." Dark Shadow: "One simply cannot resist!" Asui: "Tokoyami-chan sure likes apples, huh?"
Agriculture is huge in Aomori, and specifically they are famous for their apples, contributing about 60% of Japan's entire apple production. Raw apples, jams, juices, desserts, etc., they are everywhere in Aomori, and fyi, they are all absolutely delicious. The sweetest, richest, freshest apples I've ever had in my life were the ones I had here! Dark Shadow is right, one simply cannot resist!!!

Todoroki: "I can have as many bowls as I want, right?" Endeavor: "SHOUTOOOOO!!!" Kouda: "Todoroki-kun!! Your dad said he wants to eat with you, too!!" Todoroki: "Check, please."
Todoroki is eating wanko soba, a specialty from Iwate where it's basically an all-you-can-eat. The soba is served in many small bowls, and you slurp them up and immediately get served more. The verb he uses, ikeru, is one people also use for "holding your liquor well," which I personally found hilarious. "Oh yeah, I can hold my noodles."
Miyagi

Ashido: "Teacher, what's wrong? You keep lollygagging about!" Aizawa: "Kittykittykitty..." Shouji: "Anybody suspicious around? Nothing has come up in my search for enemies." Iida: "We're leaving you behind, teacher."
Miyagi is famous for being home to Tashirojima, the so-called "Cat Island" where cats outnumber people. Iida gets revenge!!

Hagakure: "Namahage faces are so scary!!" Kaminari: "Looks just like Bakugou, don't it." Bakugou: "THERE'S NO RESEMBLANCE AT ALL, I'LL SEND YOU FLYING!!" Sero: "He's a rotten kid who looks just like a Namahage!"
Namahage are frightening folkloric figures from Akita's New Year's festival. Men wear big demon masks and straw coats and wield a (fake) weapon; they march through the streets or knock on doors to scold misbehaving children, asking if there are any "warui ko," (naughty/rotten/bad kids), which is what Sero calls Bakugou.

Yaoyorozu: "Oh, tranquility! Penetrating the very rock, a cicada’s voice." Kaminari: "Jirou! How about you put your earphones on that rock?" Jirou: "Are you stupid?"
Yaoyorozu is reciting a famous poem by Basho Matsuo written when he visited the Buddhist temple, Risshaku-ji (also called Yamadera, meaning "mountain temple"). This translation is by Helen Craig McCullough. Risshaku-ji, a National Historic site, is home to a number of beautiful buildings and statues built into the mountainside; temple history claims a lineage back to the 9th century. The trail up to the temple consists of 1,015 steps; I visited in winter, which made it quite the precarious climb!

Kirishima: "This right here is what I should be aiming for!!" Aoyama: "A fateful encounter~!" Bakugou: "When I said 'just being able to keep standing through anything makes you crazy strong,' this ain't what I meant!!"
Kirishima is looking at rows of okiagari koboshi, which are traditional papier-mâché dolls popular in Fukushima's western Aizu region. They are weighted so that no matter what you do to them, they pop right back up to standing!
That's all for Day 1! I'm still translating Day 2 and collecting Day 3's as they roll in, so please look forward to those. :D

In the Silence (Chapter 2)
Kacchako Fake Dating College AU
Summary: Ochako has always had feelings for her best friend from high school, Izuku. However, she’s never been able to make any progress towards a relationship with him. After a friend plants an idea into her head, Ochako tries to stir some jealousy within Izuku through dancing with Katsuki, who she happens to meet and befriend in a club. Little did Ochako realise that there’s more than just jealousy being stirred up. Katsuki is an exchange student who returned to Tokyo after ten years of living abroad. Bearing a childhood grudge, he finds the perfect opportunity to get back at Izuku for what happened all those years ago. But plans never go as smoothly as one expects.

A/N: Hi everyone! So I’ve really been meaning to write a Kacchako fic ever since I got into BNHA but I ended up procrastinating it a lot thanks to my writer’s block following a whole Tumblr mess. I had intended initially to start this off on Kacchako Week Day 3 since the prompt was fake dating but my internship was keeping me really busy. The week has ended but it’s fine. I’ll just release it as it is! I hope everyone will show support to this fic! Please do reblog this and feel free to leave some comments!

Katsuki glances over. There are only three seats beside her and one has her bag on it. The lecture hall has gotten pretty crowded. Their row’s pretty filled up as well. There’s only one seat between Katsuki and the next person. He realises that this might just be another God-given chance.
“There’s a seat here,” Katsuki says. The girls look over to him, finally realising the presence of both Eijirou and him. The girl from last night stiffens, her eyes going wide and her cheeks blowing up in red.
Mina, who’s now turned away from her, doesn’t notice her reaction. She grins. “Oh, that’s nice! If Eijirou and you could move—”
Oh hell no.
“One of your girls could come over,” Katsuki cuts in, keeping his eyes fixed on the girl from last night. He watches her, judging her reaction. He’s keen to get to know more about her— her interest in Izuku is still a burning question he has in his mind— but he doesn’t want to push her too far. She’s clearly embarrassed but he can tell from the way her body relaxes after a second that she’s not uncomfortable at the very least.
“That’s fine too,” she says and Katsuki smirks. Her voice is as cute as he recalls. She had sound different when she was moaning under him, but the sweetness in her voice still remains.
“Are you sure, Ochako?” one of their other friends asks. Her voice has a dignified tinge to it— she sounds like a princess from a renowned family even— and he can tell that she’s already uncomfortable with the idea of her friend sitting beside him. Katsuki can’t tell for sure, but he knows that even from his appearance, he’s rarely made a good first impression on anyone.
“It’s fine,” Ochako— he finally has a name to her— says. “I know him.”
“You look horrified to see him,” Mina’s headphoned friend speaks up.
Ochako smiles at him— the same cute, innocent smile she had given him before they fell asleep last night. “No, I was just surprised.”
The first thing he notices when he wakes up is the smell of flowers. It smells a lot like a flower field, kind of like the ones he had visited with his parents during vacations. He’s never been the biggest fan of flowers and he wonders why his room smells like them in the first place. His mother had packed air fresheners for him to use for his room. He doesn’t recall opening them yet, but he does remember that they were meant to be ocean-scented— not floral.
His face feels ticklish. Something long and soft is pressed against it, the various strands stroking him even from the slightest of movements. He opens his eyes, blinking rapidly to orientate himself. He sees darkness in front of him— a shade of dark brown. It takes a couple more seconds for him to realise that it’s a head. There’s a person with him— in front of him— pressed against him. He slept with someone.
He raises his body slightly and looks around the place. His initial questions are answered instantly. He isn’t in his room. He’s in someone else’s. The memories of the previous night take their time, surfacing in his mind as and when they wish. He had met a girl last night and he’d fucked her in his car before taking her to her home. He had taken things too far last night; he doesn’t have a habit of taking anyone home— or being taken to anyone’s home— on a school night. He’s not late for classes since they only start in the afternoon; it only looks like it’s a little past sunrise now. He had missed out on a night of reading the syllabus. As irrelevant as it may seem to most students, Bakugou Katsuki prefers staying ahead of the class. He’s always prepared, as he should be.
The girl remains fast asleep as he slowly climbs out of her bed. It’s a surprise how she’s still sleeping. They’d been really close to each other due to the size of the bed; the bed is only a little larger than a single one— not quite a double bed— and they had to squeeze beside each other for the night. Normally, he’d had left after they were done but, again, he had taken things too far. He shouldn’t have taken it beyond one round. He’s at least glad that he had stopped himself from trying out some other things with her— out of consideration, given that it was her first time.
He picks his jeans up, fishing his phone out of his pocket before he starts to pull them on. It’s only eight in the morning, but even then, it’s later than when he normally wakes up. Last night must have been good, even if it’s all a blur to him right now. He puts on his t-shirt and gives the girl one last look. He had already noticed how small she is when he had her pressed against him last night. As she lays alone on that tiny bed, she looks smaller than ever. The covers had been thrown off her partially, from when he had gotten up, and it gives him a better look at the creamy skin of hers; it was dark last night and he hadn’t had a good look. His eyes linger on her ass, remembering how soft it had felt in his hands last night and how he could barely keep himself from touching it. She might be minute but she sure is curvy; the universe had been generous with her hips and chest— and her cheeks. But as sexy as she might be, Katsuki was— and is— just plain curious about this girl.
This girl is Deku’s girl after all.
Midoriya Izuku had been a constant thorn in his life from ever since he could remember. Izuku is probably the main reason why he doesn’t remember anything sweet about his life in Japan in the first place. He had been a king once but after what happened with Izuku, his life had been miserable up till his father had gotten the job posting in New York and the whole family had packed up and left. He hadn’t kept in touch with anyone from his elementary school until Eijirou managed to somehow find him on a random social media site during their high school days.
He hadn’t bothered with getting updated with anyone’s life, as much as Eijirou was willing to spill the details about every single person Katsuki had come into contact with in their elementary school. Katsuki had managed to shut Eijirou up until he was given the chance at a one-year exchange program from his university. It’s a rare opportunity and Katsuki’s mother had refused his decision to reject it. He didn’t really have a choice when he stepped on the plane back for Japan. Bakugou Mitsuki had gone ahead to inform Eijirou of Katsuki’s arrival as well, which didn’t leave him which much freedom when he arrived in Japan either. Eijirou was there, waiting for him at the airport, and afterwards, he had dragged Katsuki on a weekend-long trip around Musutafu to familiarise himself with the landscape which had changed much over time. Katsuki does have to admit— to himself and not to Eijirou— that this tour had been helpful and that had he been alone, he’d have to rely on the GPS for even the simplest thing like the nearest convenience store.
He had Eijirou show him around UA, the college he’s attending for exchange, as well. Eijirou had mentioned that a handful of their classmates from elementary school were attending as well but Katsuki had snapped at him to shut up before he could name any of them. Katsuki now wishes that he had listened. After seeing Izuku in the club the other day, he wonders if Izuku is attending UA as well. It’s the college closest to Izuku’s home after all and given his family background, Katsuki is sure that he won’t be schooling anywhere too far or costly. There’s still the chance that he might have skipped out on college altogether and gone straight to work but Katsuki knows the chances are pretty low.
And then, there’s this girl now. Katsuki doesn’t know what her history with Izuku is but they clearly have something deep enough for Izuku to react as strongly as he did the previous night. After Katsuki pulled her into a kiss, Izuku had looked like he was on the verge of murder, or perhaps, murder might not be the right expression. He’s sure someone as naive and docile as Izuku is incapable of even considering murder in a hypothetical situation— or even anything that would remotely harm another human being. Rather, Izuku had looked like he was on the verge of running up to Katsuki and the girl, grabbing her and running off.
Maybe, that was the ideal outcome she was hoping for as well.
Katsuki wonders how Izuku would react if he knew what Katsuki had done with her last night. That is a reaction Katsuki would give up anything to see. Granted, he didn’t fuck the girl so he could get back at Izuku— even Katsuki wouldn’t stoop so low. He had satisfied his bitter Deku-hating self through the dance and the kiss— maybe even walking out of the club while holding her hands.
Everything else that happened was just on her. He fucked her because he wanted her and because she wanted him just as much. He went home with her because he couldn’t get enough of the sweet melodious voice she let out when he had her bouncing on his dick. He went more than one round because the way she clamped down on him and pulled him in was too addictive. He stayed the night because there was something about this girl that made him want to be with her more— something that kept pulling him in.
But now, he has to go.
He pulls the covers up to her torso before he turns to leave. He picks the keys she had discarded on the table last night up and exits the apartment, locking the door securely behind himself before sliding the keys back in beneath the door. He’s unsure how safe it is in these parts of town, especially for a young, pretty girl like her. He’s sure there has to be at least one pervert in this building who has their eye on her.
Katsuki has never been to this part of town before, not even back when he lived here as a kid. Eijirou’s tour had only comprised of malls, cafes and clubs that were mostly at the higher-end parts of town, where both of them lived.
The apartment complex the girl lives in looks like it came right out of a horror movie. When Katsuki first saw it, it screamed at him to turn back and run. Maybe there are no humans to fear in a place like this (though he doubts it), but he’s not too sure about anything inhumane.
The elevator has a weird stench to it. Katsuki wrinkles his nose when he steps into it. Even though it’s been hours, it looks like it hadn’t been cleaned up. Nothing like this would happen in the apartment complex he’s living in right now. The elevator doesn’t smell like trash, despite the discarded cartons and cigarette buds that lay on the floor. Rather, there seems to be a rotten tinge to the air, as if the walls and railing are hiding something dead within them.
Katsuki has no idea how the girl is able to live in a place like this. How is she not afraid of the bugs on the walls? How does she not fear that maybe one day some creep might rush out and attack her? God knows what happens to pretty girls like her in a place like this.
He might have voiced his concerns to her last night, but he held his tongue after catching her eye. Her gaze had a wariness in it that immediately put a wall between them— a silent warning to shut up. That wariness really should have been there when she was in the car with him alone as strangers but somehow this girl fears being judged for what she is more than what could have happened in his car.
Expectations are pretty much a big joke. Sometimes when you have them so low, you can be fed with something terrible and still think it’s amazing. But when you have expectations that are pretty much non-existent, coming across something beautiful simply amplifies the beauty in it.
The terrible apartment complex hadn’t prepared him for her apartment. He had walked into it expecting something like a worn-down prison cell, but what he got feels pretty much like a home.
The walls— which he’s sure are peeling and degrading— are covered in a dark wallpaper, dotted with white stars and occasional planet-themed designs. It is small, but somehow that makes it feel rather homely. There are two doors to the side, which he assumed then are probably the bathroom and her bedroom. He found out a little later that the one further in the apartment led to the bedroom— another tiny, but homely and well-decorated place with a simple layout of one bed in middle and a study table and a closet on either side. Other than that, the rest of the apartment is pretty much one big room. The only thing that separates the kitchen from the living area is a counter. The living area is simplistic, merely containing a faded brown couch and a small table in front of it. There is a television. It’s not the newest model and it’s tinier in comparison to what he has at home, but he supposes it’s enough for a simple, solitary life.
He’d always thought Izuku was struggling financially, but he saw then that maybe, it’s more common in this world to not have money than it is to have money. He always thought Izuku was an anomaly and that everyone else was like Katsuki— rich, comfortable and pampered. Eijirou doesn’t have pockets overflowing with cash but he’s sure Eijirou doesn’t know what it means to struggle with money either— not directly, at least. Maybe they’re anomalies, or maybe Izuku and this girl are the real anomalies, which is why they must get along so well. He wonders why a girl this poor would be after someone who’s just as poor. She’d probably be living a better life if she got a boyfriend that’s rich and would be willing to pull his wallet out for her at her every whim and fancy. From what Katsuki had seen of her, he knows there has to be more than one rich bastard out there who’s willing.
Katsuki gets into his car, but only after giving one final look at the apartment complex. She’s a pretty interesting girl and he had fun, but it’s time to forget about last night and to move on to more important things, like the fact that he has to be getting back to his own apartment to prepare himself for the start of the semester. He’s been acing every class and assignment back in New York, standing proudly above every student; he plans to do the same here in Musutafu as well.
~-~
“Where’d you disappear off to last night?” Eijirou doesn’t bother with afternoon greetings. He plops himself down on the seat beside Katsuki, elbowing him as he asks his question. “When I went looking for you, I couldn’t find you anywhere and your car was gone.”
“You were gone so I left,” Katsuki snaps in response. He isn’t in the mood to talk to Eijirou— he’s rarely in the mood. Eijirou is practically a chatterbox. He’s always smiling and barely anything ever gets to him. Katsuki and Eijirou are practically polar opposites; they’re the last pair that should ever be considered friends.
“No, I wasn’t gone, not before you. Didn’t you see my car before you drove off?” Eijirou watches him with a raised eyebrow— understandably so. Katsuki is pretty observant. If Eijirou’s car had really been there, he’d have noticed it easily on the way home. It’s bright red after all. But Katsuki had been distracted with the girl and searching for Eijirou’s car was the last thing on his mind when he entered the carpark last night. That made sense to him, but it obviously isn’t making any sense to Eijirou who’s in the dark about what happened.
“I must have had too much to drink. I didn’t see your shitty hair on the dance floor so I fuckin’ left,” Katsuki grumbles instead.
Eijirou leans back into his seat, shrugging. “Oh, that. I was with a girl in the bathroom.”
Katsuki does remember seeing Eijirou with a girl while he was dancing with Izuku’s girl. She had caught his eye simply because of how much she stood out— curly pink hair, a bright luminous pink dress and a pair of pink high-heeled leather boots. He had seen five-year-old girls dressed like that countless of times, but he doesn’t recall ever seeing so much pink on a girl who’s old enough to legally enter a club— that is, assuming she is legal in the first place.
Sights like that are so rare than no matter how irrelevant these extras might be, they’re bound to catch your eye wherever they are. Despite the crowd of people walking into their compulsory writing class, Katsuki immediately spots Eijirou’s girl from the back of their lecture hall they were in. The lighting here is much better but even then, all he gets from her is pink— a head of curly pink hair, a cropped pink jacket, a lighter pink dress and a pair of pink ankle boots with light pink leggings underneath. She’s walking in with her arms linked with another girl, who’s dressed much darker with headphones hanging around her neck.
“Oi, Kirishima,” Katsuki sighs lazily. When Eijirou looks up from his phone, Katsuki nods at the pair and Eijirou’s eyes widen. He gets to his feet immediately, waving.
“Oh! Ashido!” He looks elated to see her. The pink girl’s head snaps up and her eyes brighten just like Eijirou’s. She tugs on the arms of her friend, pulling her up towards Eijirou and Katsuki.
“Kirishima, what the fuck? I didn’t ask you to fucking call them here!” he yells out in horror as he watches the two girls hop up the stairs.
Eijirou looks at him, confused. “Why not? That’s Ashido Mina. I danced with her yesterday.”
“I know. I pointed out to you the girl you fucked last night but I didn’t ask you to call her here. We’re not here to fucking make friends,” Katsuki growls.
“Dude!” Eijirou gasps, lowering his voice. “She isn’t just some random girl I fucked.”
“Then?”
“I’ve known her from high school!” Eijirou says and to Katsuki’s surprise, Eijirou reddens a little. “I wanna get to know her better, man.”
“No way.”
“What?”
“No fuckin’ way are you in love with Pinky over there,” Katsuki snaps.
“I’m not in love—”
“Eijirou!” Eijirou is cut off by a cheery voice that goes off from behind him. Mina and her friends approach the two of them and without even asking if any of the seats are taken, she takes the seat beside Eijirou immediately. “Hi! I didn’t expect to see you here!”
“You told me you’re in UA, but I didn’t think you’d be taking Professor Aizawa’s class this semester as well!”
Katsuki watches Mina and Eijirou in disbelief, partly amazed that Eijirou is even capable of letting his voice go this soft for someone— that too, a girl. The two of them continue chatting, oblivious to their surroundings. Mina’s friend takes the seat beside her, pulling on her phone and scrolling through it. She doesn’t seem too keen on socialising with anyone and Katsuki is grateful for that. He doesn’t know how he’d take another Mina, especially if she starts clinging onto and talking to him. Just like Mina’s friend, Katsuki starts to scroll through his phone. His friends— or rather, people he knew— from back home are starting their semesters in his university as well and seeing their posts online makes him groan once again at the terrible fate he’s going through right now.
“Ocha!” Mina’s voice makes Katsuki jump in his seat, the sudden shrillness taking him by surprise even despite the buzzing voices of all the students around them. Mina has jumped up to her feet and is waving at someone— a lot like Eijirou had done earlier on. She turns to Eijirou and Katsuki, clasping her hands together. “Do you mind if some of my friends came and joined us?”
“Yes,” Katsuki says immediately, making Mina’s eyes go wide as Eijirou stares at him with a sigh. He turns to Mina, taking her hand.
“Look, ignore him. It’s fine, call them over,” he says.
Mina frowns, hesitating. “I don’t know if your friend minds, I could always just go over to sit with Ochako and the rest instead.”
That sounds like music to his ears. He can’t imagine sitting with a group of girls, especially not if they’re all going to sound like Mina. He looks towards the direction Mina had waved at, fully expecting to see some kind of bimbotic crowd, only to freeze up at the sight of another familiar face.
It’s the girl from last night. She’s standing by the door with two other girls, looking around in confusion, as if looking for someone in the crowd before her. Everyone else who’s entering the hall seems to locate seats immediately and take them. It’s hard to imagine that Mina would be looking for someone else. Katsuki turns his attention back to Eijirou and Mina, who are still arguing over the seats.
“It’s fine, Ei. I can just sit with Ocha and the rest downstairs. It’ll be fine,” she insists. Mina starts to pick up her pink bag. Beside her, her friend is looking up at her, frowning slightly.
He realises that this is practically an opportunity being presented to him on a silver platter. What are the chances that he’s taking the same class as that fucking hot girl from last night; what are the chances that he’s taking the same class as Deku’s fucking hot girl? This might give him more to flex at Izuku over. He could get friendlier with her. She had seemed like a nice and fun person to be around. Talking to her hadn’t been annoying, which is pretty rare for Katsuki. On top of all that, he might have some more fun too.
“It’s fine,” he says gruffly, trying his best to appear as uninterested as he could be. “Call them over.”
Mina’s eyes shine immediately and she goes back to waving and jumping to get her friends’ attention. “Tsu! Yaomomo! Ocha!” She screams at the top of her lungs and eventually, the girl from last night looks up. Her face blossoms into a smile at the sight of Mina and she rushes up, her two other friends following behind her.
Tsu. Yaomomo. Ocha. They’re obviously nicknames Mina had given them. One of them had to be for her, but he can’t really make out which one it is.
He watches, as subtly as he can, as the girl runs over to Mina and hugs her tight. Girls confuse him a little. If Mina and Eijirou had been together last night, it would probably mean that they had gone to the club together. Yet, they’re hugging as if they hadn’t met in years.
“There are only two seats here, by the way. I’m saving one for Denki,” Mina’s first friend says.
Katsuki glances over. There are only three seats beside her and one has her bag on it. The lecture hall has gotten pretty crowded. Their row’s pretty filled up as well. There’s only one seat between Katsuki and the next person. He realises that this might just be another God-given chance.

Ochako smiles at him— the same cute, innocent smile she had given him before they fell asleep last night. “No, I was just surprised.”
She makes her way past Eijirou and Katsuki before sitting herself down beside him. They’re silent for a moment until she sighs and turns to him.
“What are you doing here?” she asks.
“I’m here for class, Roundface. What the fuck would I be doing here if not for that?” Katsuki snaps.
“This is a class for Year 2 students,” she says frankly. “You look like you’re older.”
“How fucking old did you think I am?” he snarls.
She looks at him. She actually takes a long look at him from head to toe and deep down in his gut, something stirs again, just like it did when she had looked at him naked last night and licked her lips. He tries to focus on the sound of Eijirou’s voice beside him to keep himself from getting a boner right there and then. Thankfully, it helps.
After a long moment of silence, she shrugs. “Older.”
“Older,” he scoffs, leaning back into his seat. “Yeah, ok. Sure.”
She giggles at his comment and surprisingly, he doesn’t get as annoyed as he thought he’d be. He’d have ripped the heads of anyone else had they tried that on him. She smiles at him again and holds out her hand.
“I’m Uraraka Ochako. Nice to meet you,” she says.
He eyes her hand for a moment. He doubts he actually shook hands like this with someone before. He reaches out slowly but before he can take hers, she reaches and takes his, shaking it with a tight grip. He supposes it’s only common courtesy to share his name with her as well.
“I’m Bakugou Katsuki. Nice to meet you.”
“Bakugou Katsuki, huh?” Her voice is playfully as she chuckles over his name. She turns her eyes to the front of the class, where their Professor is now setting up. “I like your name, Bakugou.”
He realises that his heart is beating faster than it normally does. There’s a bitter taste in his mouth, though, when he hears that it’s his last name that rolls off her tongue.
~-~
Mina invites Eijirou and Katsuki to join her group for lunch. Aside from the girls, there’s also another boy now— a blonde boy in a leather jacket who Katsuki assumes is headphone girl’s boyfriend. He remembers her calling him Denki. Katsuki is sure Mina just wants to spend more time with Eijirou, who she clearly couldn’t stop talking to in lecture, but he has no issues with lunch when he sees that Ochako is there as well. He makes sure to sit beside her in the cafeteria as Eijirou and Mina sit across them. He doesn’t really pay much mind to the extras at the other end of the table, that is until he hears a certain name.
“It’s a pity that Iida, Midoriya and Todoroki weren’t allocated this class this semester,” the green girl sighs. She’s a lot like Mina in her appearance, except she’s green and her style isn’t as extravagant as the latter.
Katsuki stiffens at the name she mentions and he could see Eijirou flashing him a cautionary gaze. Katsuki rolls his eyes in response. He doesn’t need Eijirou out of all people warning him about blowing up in rage. He’s not going to do that, especially not when the girl sitting beside him is obviously infatuated with Izuku.
“Well, at least, they’ll be allocated it together next semester. They won’t have to be alone,” the other girl responds.
“Man, if Midoriya or Shouto were here, I’d be able to copy off all their work!” Denki yells out in annoyance, stretching his arms out.
“Well, that’s too bad. You’re going to have to work for some things sometimes,” headphone girl coughs out.
Denki frowns. “But I already have to work so hard for you, Kyouka.”
Katsuki had thought up possible names for Ochako’s friends but Kyouka is the last thing he’d have expected headphone girl to be called. She looks far too tough and strong-headed to be a Kyouka.
“Ochako must be so bummed out,” Mina says with a sigh, resting her hands on her face. “I’m sure you were dying to take this class with Midoriya.”
“What?” she squeaks, turning red again. She turns red far too easily, but this time, at the mention of Izuku’s name, she’s redder than Katsuki had seen her before, more so than she had been when she was naked before him last night. He scoffs to himself. Just what’s so great about Izuku that he has this girl all obsessed with him?
“Girls listen, especially you, Yaomomo,” Mina says, her voice cheeky and playful. “It was so hard to get her to dance last night. She was so obsessed with watching him until I told her that she should dance with someone else to make him jealous. Then there was this super hot blonde guy and I pushed her to him and. Wait.” Mina stops suddenly, jumping to her feet and frowning as she turns to Katsuki. Her eyes go wide and her hand shoots out, pointing right at him. “It’s you!”
“What?” Katsuki has a vague idea of what’s going on but her reaction catches him by surprise still.
“The super hot blonde in the club from yesterday! It’s you!” Mina exclaims.
“Is that what you mean by you know him? Did something happen?” the princess-like girl asks, frowning. Again, she seems to be the first to be wary of him. He wonders just what this girl’s deal with him is.
“Oh, Momo, it’s fine!” Ochako says quickly. It seems Momo is the name of said princess, which would make the green girl’s name Tsuyu. It took him a while but Katsuki pats himself on the shoulder for finding their names out without asking for a single one of them.
“So both of you danced together last night?” Tsuyu says. “Is that why we couldn’t find you?”
“I couldn’t find any of you either so Bakugou drove me home,” Ochako explains.
“That’s it? You just drove her home? Dude,” Denki scoffs.
He got laid even before driving her home but Katsuki’s not sure how much Ochako would appreciate being ousted to her friends so he holds his tongue, turning back to his noodles. Denki’s words don’t bother him that much. His pride isn’t that fragile.
“She’s still into Midoriya. There’s no way she’s going to do anything with someone else,” Kyouka argues back.
That’s where they’re wrong and only Katsuki knows about it. He’d puff his chest out if he could, but that would get him nowhere. He continues eating.
“Oh, well, I guess you have a point—”
“Didn’t you two kiss?” Mina cuts in. She looks down at them with a victorious grin, her eyebrows slightly furrowed. “I saw you. You guys made out in the middle of the dance floor.”
From the corner of his eyes, Katsuki can see Ochako turning red again. “T-that. That. That is!!” Ochako tries to explain, but she’s getting far too flustered to speak. Last night must have been a big first for her and she’s being interrogated only a short while after. He doesn’t blame her for not knowing what to say, especially if she’s not ready to be completely honest with her friends.
“She wanted to make the bartender jealous and there was no better way to do that than a kiss in front of him,” Katsuki says.
Ochako flashes him a quick look but he could see the gratefulness in it. Her friends seem to have bought it, but most of them are still frowning.
“Did it… work?” Mina asks slowly. Katsuki could tell from the expressions of the rest that they had other questions in mind and he wonders if they’re keeping silent due to his presence there.
This time, Ochako doesn’t blush. Instead, she flashes a wry smile, pulling out her phone. “It did.”
Katsuki cranes his neck to see what she has on the screen. It looks like a couple of messages, but his angle is so bad that he can’t make out the exact words on the screen. Her friends are crowding around it. From the way Mina’s eyes glisten, Katsuki can tell that the plan must be working. The texts had to be from Izuku.
Fucking Deku.
“He sounds so worried,” Momo comments flatly.
“Aren’t you going to reply to him or something?” Mina asks.
The redness is back on her cheeks. She taps her nails against her phone as she shakes her head. “I thought maybe waiting for a little bit might help.”
“Playing hard to get, huh?” Denki sighs.
“Might work,” Kyouka adds.
“I don’t know,” Momo murmurs. Her eyes cloud and it’s obvious as hell that something about the texts is troubling her. “I don’t think Midoriya is jealous. He sounds worried— very worried.”
“He’s worried that she’s going to be stolen away,” Mina says with a huff. “Come on Yaomomo, give my plan a chance.”
“I’m with Momo on this,” Tsuyu adds. “He sounds more worried that something might have happened to you after dancing with a random stranger. It is dangerous, you know. He could have hurt you.”
“I wasn’t going to do anything to her!” Katsuki snaps, ironically given that he did actually do more than just something with her. But he hadn’t had any bad intentions; everything had been consensual.
“But Midoriya wouldn’t know that. He just saw what he saw— Ochako kissing a random guy who’s big enough to break her like a twig,” Tsuyu replies and Katsuki’s taken aback slightly at just how straightforward this girl can get. She doesn’t seem to fear him at all despite her descriptions of him.
“No offense, Bakugou,” Eijirou speaks up finally, a playful smile on his face. “You don’t exactly look like someone safe.”
“What the fuck is that supposed to mean, fucker?” Katsuki yells, almost lunging at Eijirou.
“Yeah, exactly,” Momo sighs. “Ochako, you better text Midoriya to let him know you’re okay.”
Ochako sighs, her shoulders slumping. “Okay sure.” She fiddles with her phone for a little bit before she slides it back into her bag. “Well, that’s done!”
The group continues with its useless conversation from earlier on and Katsuki starts to drown out their voices again as he continues to eat. He can feel Eijirou looking at him occasionally but he makes no attempt to acknowledge it. Eijirou must be hoping to ask about Izuku but Katsuki would rather die than talk about him in front of his friends. He keeps to himself, merely focusing on his food until he feels a slight nudge against his leg.
It would be enough if Ochako had slightly tapped him with her knee. That would have gotten his attention. But she presses her leg against his, lightly rubbing them together. He can’t ignore that at all, but he also doesn’t know how to react, not when they’re with her friends and not when he knows she has her eyes for someone else.
“Bakugou,” she says, her voice low and soft till he’s sure that he’s the only one who’s able to hear it.
He turns to her and realises that she’s already looking at him. He tries to act nonchalant, to appear as if he’s thinking about her leg less than he actually is doing. “What is it?”
She grins and he knows that whatever she has in mind is going to be something that he’s bound to regret. He knows it’s going to be great, but it’s also going to be something he’ll eventually curse himself for accepting.
“Can we talk later?”
A/N: Again, as tumblr removed my line breaks thing, I had to substitute it with a random ~-~. It’s pretty ugly. You guys should read this on ao3 instead honestly.
Thank you for all your kind words and the support I got from chapter 1! I hope everyone continues to support this fic. It's taking awhile to get into the fake dating but I think we should be there by next chapter! Thank you everyone!!
By the way, I'm still in the process of debating whether I should go down a Todo/momo or Todo/deku route in this fic! It's likely that if it's Todo/deku, there might be some Momo/jirou as well (despite the supposed Kami/jirou in this chapter-- don't worry about that, I have plans). Do let me know your preference. This isn't a poll or anything and I may not necessarily go down with the majority, but I would love to know what you guys are thinking!
Once again, please please do reblog if you like this! It’ll really help me out. Feel free to leave comments in the tags/ reblogs/ replies or through asks!

(She has more experience in writing than I do. XD)
Summary: Ashlen and Amy have been friends online for three months but never knew each other's real names or faces. They are from different countries but feel as if they are very close to one another. Ashlen is on an exchange program to UA High School to Class 1-A for a year. One year away from home in the U.S, will she get along with her new classmates? Why does one of them sound familiar?
Chapter 2: A Sense of Change
Meanwhile at UA…
“WHOO-HOO~!”
Amy whooped as she flew her broomstick up in the air, high enough to run a hand through the clouds, the same place where her head was as she grinned at the bright moonlight. It was the perfect amount of light that she would need to charge her gemstones for when she got down. She looked down to see their brightness…
She wasn’t alone though, she had her dear friend Shinsou riding with her on her broomstick, and he wasn’t crazy about how high they were. They were a little too high near the clouds, he knew that Amy was an adrenaline junkie, but how did he let her convince him to do crazy shit like this?
‘It’s like riding a bike she said… it will be fun she said…’ He thought to himself in dread, but he refused to show that he might have been just a little bit scared of falling since this relied purely on her telekinesis to let her fly.
“Hitoshi! We’re so freakin’ high! I’ve officially gotten better with my telekinesis, and now I can fly this thing anytime I want! Haha~! I want to get away, I wanna fllyyyyy away~.” She started singing as she floated about and let the wind blow in her face.
“You shouldn’t sing while we’re up here… you need to focus, so your telekinesis doesn’t break… Let’s just get back to the ground… I don’t think I really like fly-“ Shinsou nearly screamed when she suddenly descended, and he held on tightly to this broomstick as she whooped yet again, swerving a circle around the Heights Alliance building and potentially disturbing some of the other Class 1-A students with the heavy wind blowing through the windows from her fast flying..
As soon as she reached the ground, Shinsou was happy to be back on his feet where he wouldn’t fall to his death. “HA! Never gets old…” Amy laughed cheerfully as she got down off her broomstick, secretly amusing Shinsou despite what his expression indicated. “You’re setting witches back a hundred years by flying on a broomstick, do you know that?” He asked her sarcastically as she laughed a little bit, “Yeah, but it’s fun~. Now watch this! The moonlight is perfect for my gems~.” Amy sang-songed as she cheerfully went over to the gems she had collected to charge up for the perfect night.
They were gleaming, provided by the brightness of the moonlight that shined upon them, Amy stared at them in awe as she started to sing the incantation.
“Crystal, Gleam and Glow
Let your power return
The full moon shine so bright
Return your state of might.”
A low humming radiated from the glowing gemstones, and Amy’s grin grew and looked somewhat crazy from Shinsou’s point of view as she did her best to not let out a dramatic cackle, and instead just giggled happily. “AH! I can’t wait to utilize their power for later~ I’m just mad about gemstones.” She said excitedly, which Shinsou secretly found endearing. Even if he didn’t know why he was out here in the first place.
“Why am I out here again?” He asked in the most deadpan tone she had heard yet, and he wasn’t surprised to see Amy’s trademark smirk.
“Duh, Mr. Aizawa trusts you the most with me, I need you to back me up if I get in trouble, and on top of that… I need to make up being away from you for 4 years… do you know how sad I was without you?”
Amy explained, her smirk turning into a more somber smile, “But you had the other witches. You certainly think highly of them… a lot more than the other girls here, that’s for sure.”
It was true. Amy often mentioned her sisters from the coven at Miss Robichaux’s Academy for Exceptional Young Girls at New Orleans to her friends and classmates. Her sisters were young witches that had been made public not long ago but were an independent heroine group that followed their own rules thanks to Amy’s Supreme Cordelia Goode demonstrating a heroic attitude despite the witches’ controversial, and some say questionable hero methods. Amy’s dear friends Zoe Benson, Queenie and Mallory lived there, and she missed them terribly, but frequently spoke to them online, along with a new friend she had made in the states. And sometimes she would stay up till the dead of the night talking to them, which had lately been forcing Bakugou to make her ‘go the fuck to bed.’
“I do… I mean the girls here are great… but… my sisters are… pretty badass.” Amy chuckled a little bit, but Shinsou couldn’t help but rolls his eyes. “Yeah, we hear you go on and on about how great they are… Except for Madison… nobody can stand her, I really can’t stand her.” Shinsou reminded her but made sure to remark on his intense dislike for Madison Montgomery, the bitchiest witch who had been ‘taking care of you’ and shadowing a very reluctant Aizawa on Cordelia’s request on most days. But nobody, not even sweet Izuku, Kirishima or Uraraka liked her.
Amy couldn’t help but giggle. Madison was more of her frenemy than anything, compared to Misty, Mallory, Zoey, and Queenie, but Madison was a hedonist who looked out mainly for herself and most definitely NOT a hero. Although, Madison did care about Amy, given that she took her on a wild bender after Bakugou was rescued and was being kind of a distant asshole afterward.
That proved that Madison DID care about her and had a heart underneath the stone-cold bitchiness. “Hee-hee, Madison’s a bitch. But… I can handle her. I mean… look at who I’m dating.” Amy shrugged a little bit and laughed, not fully noticing the look of annoyance on Shinsou’s face.
“But… as much as I talk about how great my sisters are… they aren’t you Hitoshi… they made me feel less lonely… but they couldn’t replace you at all…” She said softly with a warm smile at her childhood friend, who didn’t seem to expect that as he awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, willing himself to not blush.
“So sentimental…” He muttered a little bit in slight embarrassment as Amy giggled a little bit, unable to stop herself from hugging his arm affectionately as he sighed heavily in mild annoyance. Although, Amy’s hold loosened a little bit as her brown eyes widened ever so slightly, pausing momentarily as she stared upwards into the distance and looked around.
There was nothing in the area, but her senses were tingling and telling her something that she couldn’t really say. Yet, she felt nothing bad, which was surprising to her since one of Amy’s gifts allowed her to sense bad juju and of bad things yet to come. So naturally, Amy learned to be cautious, even if she wasn’t sensing the usual bad juju…
Which was a little bit alarming to her. She’d been used to bad juju, and for some reason, it seemed to be naturally drawn to her wherever she wants, whether it was at Robichaux or UA. She recalled many times she felt it, such as the attack on Robichaux, the Witch Hunters, the Axeman’s attack, the USJ incident, the Hero Killer’s attack at Hosu, to the Summer Field Training trip. All bad incidents, so why was this so different?
Amy wondered what this could have meant. Whatever it was, it was lingering in the atmosphere, and Amy was growing more curious about it by the minute.
As she thought to herself, Shinsou knew that the witch must have sensed something when she was uncharacteristically quiet, so he could tell she must have sensed something, “What is it, Amy? Is something the matter?” He asked her, a hint of concern in his tone as Amy chuckled and shook her head.
“Nothing really… I thought I sensed something but… now it’s gone… it’s nothing.” She replied with a smile and decided to quickly change the subject somehow.
Ding!
“Oh! Hello~. Wonder who that could be~?” Thankfully, one of your friends messaged you, which was the perfect distraction from the weirdness you felt.
Ally-luvs-14cats: Hi! What's up Ice cream!?
Ice-cream-FoxGirl: Oh hey girl! Just flyin’ about with my buddy. Almost died lol
Ally-luvs-14cats: Which one? The Zombie one or the Explodo boi?
Ice-cream-FoxGirl: HA. I haven’t killed Explodo Boi YET. But I’m with my dear Zombie Boy.
Shinsou looked over Amy's shoulder, "Who are you talking to? And who are you calling Zombie boy?"
Amy nearly jumped, and she flashed him a nervous, toothy grin, “Just a friend… Zombie Boy? No…” She laughed very nervously, “Nobody… definitely not you… I don’t think your zombie-like features make you look like a zombie…” She said, not convincingly at all as she tried to wave it off.
Ally-luvs-14cats: XD i bet he pissed his pants!
Ice-cream-FoxGirl: XD LOL I dunno. Maybe. I didn’t check my broom lolol
Ally-luvs-14cats: you better. Wouldnt want a nasty ride XD
"Who are they? Are they your friends from the coven?" Shinso asked, with a face of annoyance from the 'pissed' comment.
“Hee-hee… not this time… Madison probably would’ve said something like that. But no, this is my bud from the States... She ain’t a coven girl, well… that I know of,  but she’s definitely a friend…” She clarified, for once not saying anything really snarky since she had grown to like this girl, she was pretty cool. A LOT cooler than Madison that’s for sure, the witch Amy was stuck with.
"You know, you really shouldn't be buddy-buddy with people online. They could be a creepy old man from Japan." He warned, he heard creepy tales of how disgusting villains kidnap kids over the internet.
Amy almost chuckled, but Shinsou’s concern touched her. “Hitoshi… I’ve already killed two creepy old men back at New Orleans. I can easily kill another. I’m good at killing creepy old men… I LIKE killing creepy old men.” She smiled a little too wide, intentionally making herself look a bit bloodthirsty, which… she kind of was. “But seriously… I trust this person. Everything I’ve read from her doesn’t strike me as suspicious. No bad juju from her.” This time, that was a bit more reassuring since this girl so far didn’t give Amy any bad vibes. "And besides, we haven't said our real names and where exactly we live, just our countries."
Ally-luvs-14cats: ugh my morning was rough XC
Ice-cream-FoxGirl: uh-oh. O.O What’s the T Christine? What happened?
Ally-luvs-14cats: let’s just say i got my ass kicked by one of my older sisters...mannn i thought today was the day im going to win! 😗
Ice-cream-FoxGirl: Eh?! You didn’t win?! Awwww man… well hey, you can do it next time! This time strike when she least expects it! Go all ‘Surprise Bitch!’ on her! Works every time! 😆
Ally-luvs-14cats: XD if only that were easy. I totally went all out! Even used my special move. But she's just too dang good.. unfortunately the next time will be in a year though…
Ice-cream-FoxGirl: DAYUM! >.< That’s almost like when I didn’t pass the Seven Wonders… I mean, most witches usually die when they don’t pass but I just couldn’t do any Divination… I feel your pain though girl… :/ I can’t beat Madison… that bitch is cray-cray… but hey, you can try again next year at least! ;)
"She only knows that you're a witch?" Shinsou asked as they approach Amy's dorm room.
Amy tried not to look so obvious, but that was just in her nature unless she was trying to manipulate someone. “Yup… that’s… that’s all she knows… she definitely doesn’t know all my friends’ names… just the girls from the coven…” She muttered, not being discreet at all. But… Amy was a risk-taker by nature, it was something she needed to seriously work on.
Ally-luvs-14cats: Also I got some news! Like a future warning...
Ice-cream-FoxGirl: Oh? Future warning eh? I wanna hear that T.
Ally-luvs-14cats: pfft..anyways yea im going to be M.I.A. im going to be moving sooo i wont be able to talk to you for a few days...ill be moving to a new country annnd guess where it will be!?
Ice-cream-FoxGirl: AWWW! >.< Booo! Oh well… will miss u gurl~. Have fun with moving! Aaaaaaaaand… France? Canada? New Orleans~? … Norway?
Ally-luvs-14cats: PFFT! New Orleans isnt a country! XD Also none of those are correct btw..
Ice-cream-FoxGirl: XD Yeah but New Orleans is AWESOME!! Aaaand… Taiwan? … London? Paris? Maybe Tokyo?
Ally-luvs-14cats: Ding Ding! It is JAPAN!~
Ice-cream-FoxGirl: O.O JAPAN?! HEY THAT’S WHERE I’M AT! GIIIIIRL~.
Ally-luvs-14cats: YEA! ill be going to this like fancy school for an exchange student program...ugh i hope this school wont be filled with snobs like the ones here..¬_¬
Ice-cream-FoxGirl:  UGH Tell me about it… I love the lot I’m stuck with, but Robichaux had cooler ladies. Now the guys here though… ;) Ooh la la girl… you’d love the guys here…… I’m licking my lips as we speak~
Ally-luvs-14cats: >u< oh my gosh! Lol! Man i hope soo...i do have a thing for Asian boys..
Ice-cream-FoxGirl: They are only some of the most beautiful men on the planet~. And these guys sure are… I have a picture of this dude I’m dating, took it when he wasn’t aware of it at the pool. Among other photos he doesn’t know I secretly have of him~. Including one of him while he was sleeping... XD
"Is that so? Amy.." A voice came up behind her and almost came out as a growl.
“AHHH!!” Amy’s eyes widened, she managed to read her most recent message, but her furious boyfriend had kind of distracted her as she jumped and screamed when he was getting too close and in a snap, she teleported at least 5 feet away to text as quickly as she could.
Ally-luvs-14cats: XD Well i gttg..I need some breakfast after that defeat..and who knows maybe we'll see other. So bye!
Ice-cream-FoxGirl: Great! Talk to u later! Can’t wait to see you! I’ll show u pics when u do! Girl bai!! I’m gonna try and not die now XD :3
Ally-luvs-14cats: Oops someone found out something XD sorry but...you are on your own!
                                    Ally-luvs-14cats had left the chat!
"AMY! GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!"
Not many things scared Amy and not even Bakugou, but his rage was enough to raise the hairs on her back as she took off running. “No! Go drink some tea or something and ‘leaf’ me alone~!” If she was going to die, she was going to go out on a really lame pun.
Shinsou couldn’t really do anything except watch his best friend and her dumb boyfriend chase each other. He probably should have stopped Bakugou with his quirk, but… Amy wouldn’t learn anything if he did. That’s what he told himself at least.
That’s what she gets for the piss comment…

Chapter 1: New Beginning
How did this even happen?
Your entire life, you’ve been training to become a villain, to follow your family’s example—and yet there you where—gawking up at the 'prestigious' UA high’s gate, about to go into the entrance exam.
Is it too late to turn back?
“Maybe everyone will be really strong and I won’t get in..” You nervously thought to yourself. While you knew U.A does have an extremely low expectance rate—these other kids haven’t had any experience on a battle field, but you? You’ve been attending an academy specifically designed to train villains for all of your previous academic life.
In other words—it was likely you were the strongest one here
And that isn’t being cocky—in fact that was a major disappointment for you. You wish you weren’t as highly trained, but that doesn’t mean you were going to purposefully fail. That is if you decided to stay.
You went over everything twice-three times-four. You had your fake name in place, your new identity as y\n l\n —yeah that was gonna take some getting used to.
Your real name is Okayia Tsukira, but if you put that on your form for U.A that would take little investigation to lead straight to your parents and brother, leading them and possibly you into some serious jail time—which isn’t exactly something you were interested in.
Your brain began fighting with itself over what to do as many students eagerly walked on in—only a few shooting puzzled looks in your direction—but ultimately ignoring you.
“Just think about everyone you’re letting down by doing this: Your dad, your mom, your older brother, your former instructors, your friends.. everyone” The little devil on your shoulder shamed.
You collected your thoughts for moment to be rational and smart about what to decide.
“Well, if this works out, my family will think I’m attending a special academy for even better villain training- and if that plan fails, plan B is to use a disguise so you're unrecognizable,” You calmly explained to yourself, “Even if I back down, my old teachers won’t care about me anymore then they ever have.. and what friends? Everyone around me has either always been intimidated by my scores or bullied me for appearing weak..”
Just as you were finishing up calmly rationalizing everything, you remembered your promise to them.. the only people to show you true kindness in your life.. with that, you made your final decision-
You were gonna do this thing.
Besides, even if you hate it, attending this school will be insanely educational for the villains, so what could applying hurt?
After taking only a single step, a rude blonde walked past you, bumping into your shoulder.
If it were an accident, it wouldn’t have phased you, but that asshole didn’t even say anything. Just passed by you as if you didn’t exist.
In your head you cursed him out…. But in real life you didn’t actually do anything.
“Guess I’m not the only villain here..” You laughed to yourself.
“Get out of my way or you’re dead.” He said (rather angrily) towards a plain looking boy with green hair.
Seriously, what’s this guy’s deal?
“M-morning! Let’s both do our best..” The green haired boy nervously stammered. Apparently they knew each other, but it doesn’t matter to you either way.
You studied the green haired boy a bit, and you couldn’t help but wonder why he was there. Aren’t heroes supposed to be confident and strong? Not jumpy and seemingly weak.
As soon as that thought came, it was replaced by a much different one. That damned spark of ‘goodness’ that they saw in you, and they're who brought you here, the entrance of U.A (where you’ve been standing in for a good five minutes now) in the first place.
You didn’t know why, but you started heading towards him to give some encouragement or something like that.. which is when he decided to start walking towards into the school— but instead he ended up tripping and almost falling flat on his face. However, he was just barley saved by a girl who’s aura practically screamed ‘sunshine’ and ‘bubbles’.
Well, you weren’t needed there, so you decided to stop stalling and actually head inside.
Once you were seated in the (humungous, might you add) auditorium, you couldn’t help but feel a little intimidated by the fact that a Pro Hero was in the same room as you. I mean all it took was one little move and your family and possibly yourself could be headed straight for jail.. “No, don’t freak out Oka- I mean y/n. Yeah, you’re y/n l/n. Okayia Tsukira is a villain in training, but y/n l/n is a totally innocent girl who wants to be hero. All you have to do is stay seated and pay attention.” You lectured yourself.
“Welcome to today’s live performance!!!! Everybody say ‘Hey’!!!” Present Mic exclaimed. Damn, he’s even louder then you expected.
His statement was met with silence throughout the mass body of examinees. Thank god your lack of enthusiasm didn’t stick out like a sore thumb in here.
“Well that’s cool my listeners!! I’m here to present the guidelines of your practical!!! Are you reaady?!!” Yet again he was met with more silence.
It was a strange feeling knowing you were the only one intimidated by a hero being in the same large room as yourself, while everyone else (especially a familiar green haired boy only a couple rows in front of you in particular) was jittering with excitement by seeing a real pro in person, not just in a fight. Although there was one blonde you remembered from earlier, who just seemed as unamused as ever. Let’s just hope that his clearly booming ego is his own demise.. you really didn’t want anything to do with him.
He was going on about the exam cards everyone received. You looked at it again. The picture on it made you cringe a little, you were nervous! Not your fault.. The only important information on it was where you were taking your exam, ‘Battle Center A’ it read.
He explained how the practical exam was going to go (ngl, you took a little offense that villains were just represented as something you take down for your personal benefit but it’s fine..) but you couldn’t shake the fact that it all seemed too simple to just be about taking down a few robots, there was no way they could have that low of an acceptance rate if it was that easy.. there must be a catch.
“May I ask a question?” A student from the audience announced, “There appear to be no fewer than four varieties of faux villains, on this hand out!” He was clearly the type to be extremely stringent on rules. People like him never prevailed at your old academy, but then again the hero world is very different.
“Such a blatant error, if it is one, is highly unbecoming for U.A, Japan’s top academy! We’re all here today in hopes of being model heroes!!” He continued. Sure, he seemed so uptight it’s a miracle he isn’t choking to death on his own personality, but you agreed. It was odd, and your suspicions about there being some sort of catch were only growing.
“And you with the curly hair! You’ve been muttering this whole time.. it’s distracting!! If this is some sort of game to you, then please leave immediately!” He scolded broccoli boy (yes, that’s what you’re gonna call him for now)
Jeez, why are all of these guys problem with broccoli boy? From what you’ve seen he just seems like a timid cinnamon roll, he’s not doing anything wrong.
“..the fourth faux villain gets you zero points so he’s more of an obstacle, you should just avoid it.” Present Mic explained.
So take down the 1,2, and 3 pointers, and avoid the big guy. Got it.
Damn, maybe becoming a hero was gonna be easier then you thought.

Windows to the Soul (Chapter 1)
A My Hero Academia OC Fanfiction
A melancholy layer of gray clouds loomed in the sky of Denver, Colorado. The city bristled with commerce and business as the afternoon rolled onward, the chill of the January air doing little more than giving people further reason to hurry about their business. In the northwest of the capitol city of the Centennial State was the suburb of Atlas; a relatively new community which was built between the second and third generation of Quirk users.  In a time before Quirks took over as the dominant population, Atlas was meant to serve as a community for families composed either entirely of, or predominantly of, Quirked people.
Nestled within this community was Aeternus High School. Once serving as a school for Quirked people only, the marble building’s cold surface and Pantheon-esque architecture reminded many of the days of civil unrest before Quirked humans had rights in the United States. A shrill bell pierced the frigid air and a swarm of teenagers dashed hurriedly into the world.
Among the stragglers that exited the building later that afternoon was two Freshman: Ian Allistair, bundled in several layers of insulated clothing, a large canvas satchel containing all his belongings slung over his shoulder. He towed behind him a translucent golden wagon (a construct of solid light, created by Ian’s Quirk: “Lightsmith”).
Inside the wagon was his best friend and godsister, Gabrielle De La Luna. Ian’s sister was nestled into the wagon with not a care in the world. Like Ian she was wrapped in several layers of warm clothing, with a large pair of striped cat ears poking out of holes cut into the top of her beanie, contrasted by her bright blue bangs that hung low on her forehead.
“Remind me again why I have to tow you home in a wagon, Gabbie?” Ian grumbled as he began their uphill walk home.
“Because I’m the big sister and you have to listen to what I say.” Gabbie replied with snark “And today I say that I’m too cold and too tired to walk. So, you get to pull me all the way home in one of your wonderfully warm creations.”
“You can turn into a cat! With fur!”
“Yes, but that requires effort. All I had to do to get you to do this was give you my best pout and say please.”
“I hate you, Gabbie.”
“I love you, too.”
The two Quirked teens shook off the cold air as they entered the warmth of their home a few blocks away, in the heart of the Atlas suburb. As the two made their way through their home, discarding layers of coats, they found a customary note from Ian’s parents on the countertop in their kitchen noting when their family would be home from work. The two took a few minutes to raid their cabinets, with Cabbie making herself a bowl of a sugary chocolate cereal and Ian making himself a rather large sandwich containing a variety of meats, cheeses, etc.
The two rummaged through their bags and after roughly an hour of discussing Algebra, History, and other subjects, the two pulled out a single piece of paper from their respective bags; a permission slip for a fieldtrip to Japan so that the members of the Future Heroes of Colorado Club could participate in the UA entrance exam.
“Do you think we’re ready for this, Gabs?” Ian asked, his voice almost a whisper
Gabbie’s ears twitched atop her head as she heard her childhood nickname. She swallowed her mouthful of food as she began to speak.
“We’ve been raising money since last May. We’ve been preparing our Quirks since we were ten. I think we’ll be fine, Ian.”
“I know, I know. I’m just nervous. It’s UA, you know? All Might could be watching the exam for all we know.” Ian stuttered, fidgeting with a Rubik’s cube he pulled out of his bag.
“So, we’ll just have to knock his socks off too.” Gabbie retorted through another mouthful of cereal.
Ian scoffed and chuckled nervously. “I don’t get how you can be so nonchalant about this.”
“Ian.” Gabbie began, setting down her food and walking over to her brother on the other side of the room. “You and I have been dreaming of this for the past five years. As long as we have each other, nothing can stop us from becoming the best heroes the world’s ever seen.”
Ian looked into his sister’s brilliant green eyes, and watched as her sharp-toothed smirk spread across her face. Ian’s own ever-changing eyes shifted from a murky, nervous brown to a radiant blue color as he let out a deep sigh.
“You always know how to calm me down, Gabs.” Ian said with a soft smile.
“That’s what family is for.” Gabbie replied with a toothy grin.
Later that night Ian’s parents, Kevin and Samantha Allistair sat at the dinner table with their child and godchild and ate dinner. Kevin was a tall, lean man. His hair was blond, fluffed up into what many would call a pompadour, despite his objections. His eyes were a deep forest green color, and on his palms, were two crystal-like growths related to his Quirk. Samantha was slightly shorter than her husband, her platinum hair coming down in wild curls to chin-length. Her eyes were ever-changing in color as her Quirk analyzed the light spectrum around her. As the family’s evening began winding down, the teens seized the opportunity in the quiet.
“So, we got our permission slips for the UA field trip today.” Ian murmured quietly.
Ian’s parents almost choked on their final bites of food, surprised at the sudden shift in the room’s tone.
“Have you guys raised enough funds already?” Samantha asked, coughing softly under her breath with one hand covering her mouth.
“Moms we’ve been raising money for a little under a year. Ian and I have been at every single fundraising weekend. The club has raised something what like, $20,000?”
“$20,562.37” Ian confirmed
“We have enough for the whole club to go. That’s 8 people. Round trip, 7 days. The exam is next month. February 26th.”
Kevin, Ian’s father sighed deeply. “We know. I guess we just…didn’t realize how quickly it’d crept up on us. You guys are growing up so fast.”
“Ew. Don’t get all mushy on us pops.” Gabbie teased, sticking out her tongue as she gathered the family’s dishes and placed them in their dishwasher. Kevin smiled and returned the teasing gesture.
“Have you called your parents, Gabbie?” Samantha asked.
Gabbie stopped in her tracks and stared through the window above it, her gaze blank as she looked out into the stars.
“I wanted to make sure you guys were going to be ok with this first. Didn’t want them fretting too.” Gabbie said nervously.
“Madre and Padre just worry about you Gab.”
“I know.” Gabbie said with a nod, taking a deep breath and whirling around with a nod. “So that begs the question. Are Ian and I going?”
Kevin and Samantha chuckled, ushering the two teenagers to come closer.
“We promised you guys could take the test a long time ago. We’ll sign it so you guys can get things ready with your club. But we should also have a sit down with your parents before the end of the week so that we can have a plan, Gabbie.”
Gabbie nodded and hugged her adoptive family close, Ian also getting wrapped into the group hug. The two soon were ushered off to their respective bedrooms to go to sleep and prepare for the next day.
As Gabbie lay down to sleep looked up at her ceiling and looked at a spot in her wall that had a different pattern than the wall around it. She ran her hand over the spot, feeling the smoothed-out texture of dried spackle and hastily applied paint. She could feel four distinct curves where the spackle had been carefully applied to hide deep gashes. Gashes that had had come from her claws, during one of her transformations when she was younger and less experienced with her Quirk.
Her hand recoiled away from the spot as she remembered Ian’s reaction the morning after her first full transformation; tired, defeated, and worried sick. She remembered their parents catering to her every whim the entire day. She remembered Ian shaking as he recounted the previous night’s events. She remembered her and Ian hugging each other close, and crying until neither of them could cry any more. She remembered the promise that they made to each other. But she also promised herself that she would never make her family worry like that again. That she would make them proud and become strong enough to overcome every hardship.
Across the hall Ian had finished closing all the blinds and locking his door, making sure that his room was sealed from all light sources. He took off his protective glasses and settled into his bed and looked up at the ceiling. He then reached over to a lamp on the nightstand next to his bed and turned it up ever so slightly. He watched as various types of light danced across his field of vision. He reached his hand up into the aurora and watched the infrared waves radiate from his fingers. As his head began to ache, he slowly reached over and turned off the light. He nursed the headache for a moment, rubbing his temples as he contemplated the coming weeks.Ian, like his sister, was thinking of the first time Gabbie used her Quirk to its full extent. He remembered it was also the night he discovered his quirk’s full power as well. Ian remembered hearing painful screaming from the room across the hall and how he ran to check on her, only to find her writing in pain as her bones popped out of place and she shifted into a feline shape.
He remembered a light shield popping up just in time to repel the now-feral creature that was inhabiting his sister’s mind away. He remembered how long it took both Gabbie’s parents and his own to restrain her. And he remembered staying up watching her the hole night and crying with her all day. The promise he made to himself that he would become a hero so that everyone he loved would be safe, always.
As the two went to sleep, though, it was the promise to each other, rather than their own goals, that held firm in their mind. They thought of their younger selves locking their pinkies together and swearing to never give up on each other, and to always love each other no matter what. As they drifted off to sleep they knew that no matter what hardships they would be enduring in the coming weeks, they had each other.
Several days later, on Thursday, the two rushed out into the frigid air of a snowy day. Ian projected a large umbrella over their heads to shield them from more snow and provide a bit of warmth. They hurried home, their legs burning as they rushed their usually casual walk. As they opened the door, they began wiping the snow from their boots and tossing aside their jackets. The warm glow of Ian’s construct retracted and they suddenly noticed the occupancy of their living room.
Gabbie’s parents, Daniel and Claudia, were visiting. Daniel was a large, physically imposing man with several feline features including whiskers protruding from his face, large yellow eyes, and cat ears. Claudia was a small, curvy woman with hair down past her shoulders. Her eyes were soft and she had a kind smile.
“Mamá! Papá!” Gabbie yelled, running to her parents and embracing them. Ian walked behind her with a smile of his own as the family embraced.
“We missed you so much mija. You’ve grown even more since Christmas. You’re almost as tall as I am now.” Daniel said happily, holding his daughter close.
Gabbie groaned obnoxiously. “Papá! Not in front of Ian! You’ll only encourage him to be more affectionate!”
This prompted Daniel to charge over and pick Ian up in a bear hug, laughing a hearty laugh. “Oh, I haven’t forgot about him! How are you mijo? Keeping out of trouble?”
“You still think I’m the one that’s going to cause trouble, padre?” Ian joked with a soft chuckle
“How many times do I have to tell you, I’m not a priest!” Daniel growled playfully, rubbing his hair
Claudia, meanwhile, cupped her daughter’s face and looked into her eyes. “You look more beautiful every time we see you, Gabriella.”
Gabbie nuzzled her mother’s hand affectionately. “Thank you, mamá. I was fortunate enough to get your good looks.”
“I heard that!” Daniel objected as he continued wrestling with Ian. The two women giggled as Kevin and Samantha stepped out from the Kitchen, beaming at their family.
“Come on everyone” Kevin invited “Let’s sit.”
The adults sat opposite the two teens and set the permission slips on the table.
“So, straight to business?” Gabbie joked as she plopped into a chair, assuming a lounging posture as she tossed a leg up on one of the chairs in their living room.
“We’ve already talked it over, Gabriella” Claudia told her daughter. “We talked about this with Kevin and Samantha a long time ago, and told them that we wanted you to go to UA if you ever got the opportunity.”
Gabbie suddenly tilted her head. “Then what-?”
Kevin stopped his goddaughter. “Let them finish, Gabbie. You listen, too, Ian.”
Daniel fidgeted in his seat. “I know it’s been hard on you, mija. Having to be apart from us for the past few years. You understood and went with it, trusting us. Trusting your godparents, even though you didn’t know them well. And we couldn’t be prouder of the woman you’ve become.”
Daniel turned to his godson. “And we couldn’t be prouder of you, either, Ian. For becoming the brother Gabbie never had, and the son we didn’t know we needed. You’ve supported Gabriella when we couldn’t, when your parents couldn’t.”
Daniel wiped tears from his eyes with the pads on one of his large, fur-covered hands. “You and your parents are family to us and have done more for us than you could ever imagine, Ian. We wanted you to know that.”
“And you’ve done the same for us, Gabbie.” Samantha said, her voice quivering, and her eyes changing to a deep indigo color. “You took us by the hand and pulled us on an adventure we didn’t know we needed to go on. You’re a shining star we will always cherish. And this family knows what shining is all about.”
Ian began to tear up and when he got up to comfort his own godparents, they stopped him.
“That’s not the only reason we wanted to talk.” Claudia stopped Ian.
“Then what?” Ian asked.
The two couples looked at each other and nodded. They took a deep breath as Kevin began to speak.
“The four of us have been saving ever since you were children. We put a lot of money away for the sake of the two of you. It was for this very purpose.”
“We want you to go to UA next month.” Daniel said, firmly “We want you to win your way in. And when you do, there is enough money in the accounts we have put away for us to find a good apartment and stay there until your education is complete.”
“But…papa…how did you?...” Gabbie wondered allowed
“It’s been rough, mija. Sometimes we didn’t have much to put in there. We knew that a child of ours would develop a Quirk that could do great things, but we didn’t have the money to raise you and prepare your future. So that’s how we made this deal with Kevin and Samantha. This has been in the works for years. We should have explained this all a long time ago but---”
Gabbie put up a finger and stopped her father. “I get it. You’re right. You should have explained this, somehow. But I get it. Just…give me a minute.”
Gabbie took a deep breath. Ian took his sister’s hand and Gabbie stared at the floor for a minute or two, dumbstruck.
“Gab. Does this mean we’re gonna be Heroes?” Ian asked after a moment, squeezing his sister’s hand.
“Yeah, bro. Yeah it does!” Gabbie exclaimed, embracing his brother. As laughter erupted throughout the house, the entire family joined in on the group hug.
In the excitement of the moment, the two had failed to notice that the permission slips had been signed from the moment they walked in the door.
All that remained was for them to go to Japan and pass the exam.

i’m your biggest fan
A/N: also on AO3 (alternate title: hiiiiiii kevin).
The plan was always to go to UA. But when a scandal about a traitor came to light, the school decided to stop taking new students. The current class of first years would be its last and the school would close at their graduation. And an era would end.
So Kirishima had to find a new plan but the goal stayed the same: help people, save the day, become a pro.
There was a lot of concern his first year of high school that All Might’s subsequent retirement would lead to a collapse of or over-saturation in the hero market. Twin beacons of light snuffed out almost simultaneously would lead to a rush of darkness or a flood of light — too much villainy or not enough to fight.
Kirishima could remember his concern for post-graduation and the stress of not having a flashy quirk to get hero jobs. Maybe he would only be good enough to be a sidekick.
Midoriya and Bakugou bonded over encouraging Kirishima. They were his closest friends but up until third year their relationship had been a strange rivalry . Third year was when Kirishima’s depression was at his worst and he needed to be saved. Kirishima liked to say Midoriya and Bakugou became brothers when they both metaphorically reached into the water to grab his collar and pull him out. The three had been nearly inseparable since. His grandmother used to say “nothing is wasted” and their friendship was the light at the end of that tunnel.
If only his high school self knew what he knew now.
Several years later, he was in the top ten pro heroes in Japan along with Bakugou and Midoriya. Sometimes he wondered if their paths would have crossed if UA remained open but he’d learned to let go of “what if’s” and the past.
It was a slow day in the office. Deku had taken the intern on a patrol and Ground Zero had been called for a rescue.
Kirishima flipped between news channels hoping to catch Ground Zero’s work or one of his classmates.
“Here she comes the Rainy Season heroine, Froppy,” The announcer breathed a sigh of relief and Kirishima waited to change the channel.
Froppy dove into the water and Kirishima tensed. He knew she could hold her breath much longer than other humans but he still wanted her to come to the surface much faster.
“She just dove into the water after the car that crashed through the barrier into the river.”
Kirishima started to grip the remote. Heroes dealt with life and death situations all the time. Time — time was always the difference between life and death.
“Time is the enemy,” his foundations teacher would repeat.
Time, Kirishima started to frown.
“Something’s surfacing!”
Kirishima exhaled and let the remote clatter to the desk.
“It looks like Froppy and the civilian are okay.”
Froppy extended her tongue and latched on to a bridge support beam to pull them out of the water. Medics met them at the surface and she handed the older woman over.
The press started to swarm her and Kirishima rolled his eyes. Let her breath sheesh.
“Oi, watching your girlfriend again, Eijirou.”
He leaned back to see Bakugou walking in. “She’s not my girlfriend.”
“Green’s not a good color on you,” Bakugou continued ignoring his friend’s objection.
“I’m not jealous.”
“And you’re not obsessed either.” Bakugou reached across Kirishima’s desk to pull open a drawer. He dropped a Froppy keychain in. “You’re starting to be like Deku, Spikey.”
“If that’s the case, you’re my enabler.” Kirishima grinned before closing the drawer — his Froppy drawer so dubbed by his partners. Other Froppy knick-knacks clattered as the rough movement jostled them.
“Tell him Deku,” Bakugou called out as the door opened.
“Tell him what, Kacchan?” Midoriya pulled his mask off. “I sent Phantom home since it’s a slow day.”
“That his obsession with Froppy is getting out of hand.
“Oh! I’ve been meaning to tell you. Uraraka-chan knows her, Froppy.”
Kirishima raised his eyebrows.
“They met at that summit to increase the number of heroines and they’ve been keeping in touch ever since. So if you wanted to meet her, she could arrange something.”
Kirishima’s mouth fell open and Bakugou laughed.
“I think you broke him, Deku.”

“Red Riot graces us with his presence,” Mina teased, shaking her bottle of nail polish.
Tsuyu rabbeted in a warning tone. “Mina-chan, I’m too tired for it today.”
“Aww! C’mon, I just got started and that’s my favorite Red Riot shirt of yours.”
“No,” Tsuyu slipped into a tone she rarely used since she stopped babysitting her younger siblings.
“It’s okay to have a crush,” Mina started just as firmly, looking up from her nails.
“I’m too old to have a crush.”
“You’re also too old to keep denying yourself what you want.”
Tsuyu didn’t respond rummaging through the fridge to start dinner. Mina was relentless.
“I could arrange a meeting.”
Tsuyu froze.
Mina continued unbothered by the silence, “We went to middle school together. I wasn’t sure if it was the same guy but Uraraka-chan knows him. Small world.”
Tsuyu blinked to clear her thoughts. “It’s okay Mina. You don’t have to go through that trouble.”
“Trouble? Did I say it would be trouble?”
“No.”
“Spit it out Asui.” Mina set the polish want back in the jar.
“Just, what if he doesn’t,” Tsuyu hesitated, What am I thinking? That’s so forward of me. She blushed. “What if he doesn’t like me and all of this is unrequited.”
“Then he’s trash.”
Tsuyu whipped around to face her roommate.
“I’m being serious. You are such a catch and anyone who can’t see that isn’t worth your time. While I won’t tell you not to worry because you don’t listen to me, I can say you two would be cute together. It would majorly be his loss.” Mina shrugged and returned to painting.
Mina used to be a force to be avoided. Her obsession with other people’s relationships meant meddling and disastrous encouragement. Maturity and discernment refined her matchmaking. It wasn’t perfect but the success stories were homeruns.
Tsuyu returned to her dinner.
The offer was open but she’d leave it alone for tonight.

“The First Annual UA Memorial Sports Tournament kicks off with  an inspirational message from All-Might, who’s stepped back into the public light after ten years of retirement, to encourage the next generation of pros.”
Kirishima lost track of his partners in the thrall. They said they’d meet back up at the first intermission anticipating they’d break up to look for other pro hero friends they hadn’t seen in years.
He’d only seen the original UA Sports Tournaments on TV. He hoped he’d get the chance to make his hero debut on that stage. But seeing the stadium and how many people were here, he wondered if his high school self could have handled the pressure.
Kirishima walked through the rows of stalls checking what food was being sold for lunch intermission.
A red sweat shirt caught his eye. He turned his head a fraction to the right curious why it looked familiar.
It was a Red Riot sweatshirt.
Midoriya persuaded him to release some merchandise despite Kirishima’s reluctance. “You can donate all the money to charity,” Midoriya shrugged. “But pieces of a favorite hero are beacons of hope for fans.”
Kirishima raised an eyebrow and turned a little more to see which one it was.
Are all my fans this cute?
She held a finger up to her chin as she looked at the stall. The vendor said something that made her smile — she closed her eyes as she grinned and Kirishima’s stomach clenched at her dimple. He could only see her profile and he was convinced she was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen.
I’m done for.
+
Maybe it was obvious she’d just been staring at him.
Tsuyu tried to distract herself.
But, she’d never seen guys over the age of seven wearing Froppy t-shirts.
Were his biceps that big? They definitely made shirts in sizes big enough so his arms wouldn’t stretch the sleeves. She blushed. Jeez, Mina’s starting to infect me. Mina would have a field day if she found out.
Maybe I have a type. He just looks so attractive. Mina would have a field day.
She glanced over and he wasn’t looking at her so she took a little longer to study him. He was taller than her, way taller, probably close to six-feet than her petite stature. He had a scar on the eye facing her and she wondered how he got it.
Her eyes widened and she froze.
He just caught me staring.
+
Not cool, Kirishima. Not cool. She just caught you staring at her, you idiot. Keep it under control.
Kirishima couldn’t tear his eyes away from her and he felt his cheeks burn as a blush took root.
He could barely swallow to break the spell. She was watching him too and he couldn’t tell if she was staring him down or in shock. He could have waved in true Bakugou fashion: refusing to apologize or seem apologetic. But, spinning away in self-preservation seemed to be the best option.
And, he was close to melting into the earth and disappearing forever when a vise-like grip took hold of his arm.
“Tsuyu! C’mhere!” The grip yelled. In a softer voice, she said to him. “Hi Kiri-kun long time no see.”
+
Had I been summoning Mina this entire time? This was the absolute worst time for Mina to be in the area and the cherry on top for her to be near the Froppy Fan.
Tsuyu was about to run in the opposite direction. The possibility of seeing her fan made her heart start to trip out.
You’ve faced worst Asui.  So she turned around.
Mina dragged Froppy Fan towards her.
You’ve faced worse?! Really?
“Mina-chan,” Tsuyu faked calm. She trained her eyes on her roommate.
“Tsuyu, this is Kirishima. Kirishima-kun, this is my roommate, Tsuyu.” She let go of him and placed her hands on her hips.
“Nice to meet you,” Tsuyu looked at him briefly.
“Same,” he smiled bashfully.
“Red Riot and Froppy, huh.”
Tsuyu blushed, caught off-guard by Mina’s teasing in front of someone so attractive.
Kirishima was hoping Mina wouldn’t point it out.
“I’m his biggest fan.” “I’m her biggest fan.”
Tsuyu and Kirishima looked at each other. They’d said it at the same time. Kirishima had a far more lighter tone in comparison to Tsuyu’s defensive one.
Her blush intensified as his faded.
Mina grinned, unnoticed. This would be worth the scheming.

Dantee’s backstory
Dantee was born in a little town in rural United States. Born to two sidekicks with average earth manipulation powers. When he turned 5 he found he could manipulate earth around him. When he turned 7 he saved his little sister from a car speeding down the road while she chased after her ball. The car was destroyed but his sister and him remained unharmed. He stopped the car by creating a solid wall of rock 5 meters high and 3 meters thick. As he grew up he was advancing thru his schooling in the top 10 slots. While in middle school they had a national tournament from all schools to see who would excel and get into the best of the best hero schools. It just so happened that a teacher from UA high was there watching not in an official capacity but there non the less. Dantee excelled into the top 3 putting himself in the top running for the best school for hero’s in the United States. He decided to take advantage of it and enrolled but soon found that since his parents were both sidekicks and not very strong ones they made fun of him. During the beginning of his first semester they were on a class field trip to a museum in DC. There he found a cool looking wolf necklace and since he liked wolves and dogs that looked like wolves he bought it. The shop keeper told him not to ever wear it on a full moon or a curse would befall him. Well Dantee didn’t believe in curses so he ignored the warning. That night it was a full moon and just as the shop keeper said the curse took hold. His body transformed into that of a werewolf but not like in the movies. He has full control over his quirk and his mind he just now had the head of a wolf claws and a tail. Upon waking up the next day finding he was now this creature he took the necklace off and he remained in this state. He cursed at himself for not listening to the warning. Doing his best to hide himself he put on his baggers hoody and tucked the tail into the back of the jacket as he left with his classmates. One person was making funny remarks about him wearing such a baggy hoodie and pulled the hood off exposing his cursed face. The bus erupted with laughter and people started to ask him if he wanted a bone or some dog food. Humiliated by this when he finally got home he saw a letter from Japan from a well know school called UA high. The letter was one offering him a full scholarship to UA with there exchange program they were testing. Dantee didn’t hesitate and took the school up on their offer and left for UA.
