Every single one of us who survived abuse knows EXACTLY what happened, here.
Child Protective Services should have opened an investigation in December, to protect this child from his abusers, and they should open one, now.
And remember this: every. single. accusation. is. a. confession.

In U.S. history the Red Coats were the bad guys, literally coming to oppress American freedom, so it is perfectly apropos for Republicans. Oh, and the reference to The Handmaid’s Tale is also spot on.

"Senate Bill 596, which would allow officiants to decline to perform weddings, passed the Tennessee Senate without debate along party lines on Monday evening. The bill passed the House last year, and will head to Gov. Bill Lee for his signature."

stop telling people that voting doesn't matter stop it stop it
incremental change is frustrating and feels like it gets nothing done but it's how the american government works (for better or for worse) and if you get paralyzed by 'we need to revolt voting doesn't matter' that's one more effective vote for the fascists since it's one vote we lose.
I'd much rather have slow but tangible progress (or even just prevention of fascist progression) than everyone sitting around going 'let's wait for the revolution' when no revolution is likely to come while everything gets worse around us.
Obviously, still do whatever it is else to support the antifascist movement. Donate where you can (and do your research!) Go to protests if you feel safe doing so. But do all that AND vote.

Shouldn't Trump be in like..prison??
How's he rallying and still trying to become President through bars??-
How can we allow ourselves to let someone run for President who has like 79 felonies from when he was in the Whitehouse for only one Presidental term????

They put our Chosen Names on our Graves
They call it Progress
They expect the Survivors to be Grateful
They call it Progress
They sell our Symbols on T-Shirts
They call it Progress
They hide us in the Background
They call it Progress
They tell us we are Free
Free to What?
Free to Watch Their Films
Free to Buy Our Symbols from Them
Free to Put our Chosen Names on our Graves
Free to Die
They call it Progress
They Call It Progress
Astra Celeste (2022)
I wrote this post Club Q, and was not quite sure what to do with it.
I know now, I hope it helps bring attention to Trans Genocide. Look at these laws, some i have in more detail than others, proposed and passed that seek to criminalize our existence.
West Virginia: SB 252 (Sent to Judiciary January 17, 2023) Would define being Trans as an obscenity to minors.
Oklahoma: SB 129 (Prefiled to be Introduced February 6th, 2023) Would ban Trans Affirming Healthcare to everyone under 26 and forcibly detransition anyone under that age who has transitioned. This would currently encompass all of Gen Z.
States like Arizona, Montana, Tennessee and Nebraska have proposed bills that would ban drag from minors, but could be enforced in the same way as WV SB 252 in theory.
In 2022
Florida banned Medicaid coverage for Trans Affirming Healthcare.
Bathroom Bans were instituted in states across the country.
Laws banning any Trans Affirming Healthcare for teens have been enacted in several states.
"Don't Say Gay" Bills, again spread across the country in various states.
In Texas the Family and Protective Services were ordered to begin investigating all trans children in Texas and prosecuting their parents as child abusers and all teachers, doctors, and caregivers ordered to begin reporting any trans students they see.
And I ask you
What kind of progress is this?
Stop Trans Genocide

Ashley doesn’t know anybody else who has a baby. She doesn’t want her three friends at school to find out that she has one now. Regina is working on an arrangement with the school so Ashley can start seventh grade from home until she’s ready to go back in person. Relatives will watch Peanut while Regina is at work. Is there anything about motherhood that Ashley is excited about? She twists her mouth, shrugs, and says nothing. Is there anything Ashley wants to say to other girls? “Be careful when you go outside,” she says. “And stay safe.” There is only one moment when Ashley smiles a little, and it’s when she describes the nurses she met in the doctors’ office and delivery room. One of them, she remembers, was “nice” and “cool.” She has decided that when she grows up, she wants to be a nurse too. “To help people,” she says. For a second, she looks like any other soon-to-be seventh grader sharing her childhood dream. Then Peanut stirs in his car seat. Regina says he needs to be fed. Ashley’s face goes blank again. She is a mother now.
