Hey so look this is an election year in the United States. I know a lot of you guys don’t like Biden and if I’m being honest I don’t like him much either, but if Trump wins, HE WILL PARDON HIMSELF FOR HIS CRIMES.
This is not a “might” it’s a WILL.
So he CANNOT win. Biden may not be any use in fixing things, but it’s literally anything so trump can’t pardon himself.
Don’t fucking abstain from voting because you don’t like Biden. And don’t fucking listen to those people telling you to split the liberal vote by voting third party. I’m half convinced they’re conservatives trying to break our base so we can’t win.
Maybe next election. But NOT THIS ONE. Not when the far right are doing everything they can to delay trump’s hearing.
I’m fucking begging you guys. Please. If you’re over 18 and live in the United States, register to vote and vote this November for whoever the fuck the democrat on the ballot is. I don’t care if you don’t like them. Third party, if you insist on it, is for next election once trump has had his trial.
I get it. “Not letting things get worse” is pretty damn depressing to vote for. But it’s what we’ve got. So keep doing everything else—donate, protest, write letters and emails…but back all that up with a vote for the blue.
Voting is a tourniquet on a wound. It won’t fix the problem. But it keeps you alive until things can REALLY be fixed.

Don't tell me voting doesn't matter.
If you are over 18 and registered to vote and live in the US, go do it. Because you know who DOES think voting matters, and has been using our infighting and defeatist attitude to make America incrementally more hostile over years? THE FASH.
"I won't vote; blue is just as bad as red", ok well the fascists are voting. They WANT us to not vote--that's why they like making voting difficult. And if you don't vote to counter them, they win. We have to counter them to mitigate damage. Sure, voting won't do it all. But we need to keep voting AND doing everything else we can to make change happen. Or else change IS gonna happen....for the worse.
Think of voting as like putting a bandage on a wound, or a tourniquet on a severed limb. It won't fix it, but it will buy time before disaster happens for a real fix to occur.

stop telling people that voting doesn't matter stop it stop it
incremental change is frustrating and feels like it gets nothing done but it's how the american government works (for better or for worse) and if you get paralyzed by 'we need to revolt voting doesn't matter' that's one more effective vote for the fascists since it's one vote we lose.
I'd much rather have slow but tangible progress (or even just prevention of fascist progression) than everyone sitting around going 'let's wait for the revolution' when no revolution is likely to come while everything gets worse around us.
Obviously, still do whatever it is else to support the antifascist movement. Donate where you can (and do your research!) Go to protests if you feel safe doing so. But do all that AND vote.
