Would you ever consider giving like $5 or 20% off a purchase to users who have been here for like 5-10 years or something? Because I'm slightly tempted by some of the merch but really wouldn't buy anything unless it seeemed like a good deal.
It's funny you mention this. Yesterday we started work on a project to offer discounts and exclusive products to tumblr users based on how long they've been on the platform. I'm really excited about it.

I love Tumblr so much because even though it's also a bunch of pictures and wishful thinking it feels less competitive and braggy than Instagram. It feels calm and inspiring whereas scrolling Instagram fills me with either a hot rage or nagging envy.
