The funniest thing about this season of TUA is that while Number Five is only about two weeks older than he was in season one and is supposed to look 12, Aiden Gallagher has literally gone through puberty and is a legal adult now.

I personally believe that would be a very bad move on Five's part, not just because Dolores was, in a way, his first love and his s/o might feel left out if he started neglecting them for her, but also Dolores is literally made out of plastic. Most sex dolls are made out of material like rubber or like, silicone so the experience can feel not only realistic, but also pleasurable. Can you imagine just how uncomfortable it would be, trying to get yourself off on the hard plastic of a mannequin? (Not even the entire mannequin body, literally just the torso, a single arm and its bald head lol)

But to answer your question, I guess she could at that point be considered a sex doll in a way, but I also think that if mannequin Dolores did ever at some point take part in the bedroom she most likely wouldn't interfere much, choosing to sit in a chair by the wall while making the occasional offhand comment about Five's credibility in bed. What can I say, she's a voyeur (but also imagine trying to have sex with Five and he keeps glancing over at Dolores and having this really weird one sided conversation about how well he's doing or about whether she's comfortable or whatnot lol)

Netflix Geeked came out and the giant TUA section was incredible, so so excited to see this new season in a few weeks!!

However, it did make my theory brain go nuts, especially with what Aidan said during the No Context Spoilers section:

It got me searching for everything having the word “breaks” in it, I felt like an insane conspiracy theorist with red string and a bulletin board. I looked through Twitter and Instagram, rewatched all the trailers and new clips and found nothing until:

I found this article. Jayme “breaks” hearts. Now obviously, this could be a long shot, but it did remind me of another picture we saw. Breaking hearts, at least in my eyes, has a lot of romantic connotations usually. And I thought, maybe Aidan was speaking about Five, since that’s his character. Five hasn’t romantically been involved with anyone besides Dolores as far as we know, so I took that and ran with it. I stumbled across this leak:

Lots of discourse around her being either Grace, Dolores, I even saw a few people thinking it was Jayme or Sloane. I personally believe this to be Dolores, (the shirt is extremely similar to the one Dolores wore, and Five looks very upset and vulnerable in this moment which would make sense if this is his realized mannequin wife).

So I just finished the first season of The Umbrella Academy, here my thoughts :) :

-Five x Dolores and Hazel x Agnès are the best relationships of this show and I take no criticisms.

-Still hating Luther x Allison, I was happy the last episodes didn't have the time to focus on their "romance" because of the apocalypse, the apocalypse is much more enjoyable to watch :)

-The lack of respect and recognition Vanya and Klaus get physically hurt me. At least Vanya gets to explore a little bit her relationship with Allison but Klaus is been constantly step on and ignored, it really hurt me :( especially when he is doing so much efforts for fight against his addiction and the other still considering he is just high and with nothing important to say.

-Vanya becomes emo and my brain goes brrrrrrr.

-I wasn't a fan of Luther character since the beginning but I was doing efforts because he is fucked up like the other. But I seriously hate is attitude, he always tries to control everything, makes bad decisions and, in particular the thing I hate the most, he always uses his superior force to get and do what he wants. It's awful. Even if he thinks he does the best for his family I think he is just kind of abusive. He doesn't take criticisms or let them choices and physically holds them back to go against his own will. The worst exemple is when he locks up Vanya in the cell and let her imprisoned even when the majority (Diego, Allison and Klaus) isn't OK with that and stopped them to free her multiple times until they have to give up. I truly hope his behavior will change in season 2 because for now I seriously consider he is one of the most important cause of Vanya's snap.

-I wasn't sad when Pogo die, sorry not sorry :)

-Is this motherfucker of Reggie is an alien?? I didn't understand his flashbacks.

-Ben's screen time YEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH. I love Ben. When I first saw him I though he will be a kind of Jiminy Cricket for Klaus, and sometimes he is, but most of the time he just has the same chaotic energy 😂😂😂. The scene when Klaus thrown a bowling ball at him and he didn't catch it I swear his Pikachu chocked face was so funny. Now that the other FINALLY believe Klaus I hope to see him even more in season 2.

-Personal preference but I miss the old "faint of exhaustion" trope in this series. It's just on of my favorite and it usually work well with superpowers intrigues. It's maybe kinda bullshit to see Vanya, Klaus or Five doing insane things they never do before and just be like "I'm fine, what a piece of cake :)".

-I liked Patch, sad that she died.

-I hope more parallelisms between Five and the Comission's bitch, I think they can be a good illustration of "same beginning but different paths" .

-Good to see you dead Leonard/Harold, I will not miss you :)

-I still don't know how Ben died and I want answers!

Every single fanfic writer that ever made Five be a sarcastic ass to his partner must be rolling like a bayblade rn because S3 literally confirmed that Five is a sappy old man who calls his wife "my angel" and cheesily says things like "come to me"

lol this dude is super sappy to his partner and there is no doubt in my mind he was a devoted and adoring husband to his bald mannequin wife😌

So here's Five's being cool, if blasé about Viktor's transition. He makes a single, supportive comment and then gets back to the task at hand.

You might think that Five's ambivalent about it: that when he says he's 'truly happy', that it's a figure of speech brought about by the fact Viktor is standing in front of him, coming out.

Five's an old man who's seen it all, and he could be forgiven if his acceptance was born purely out of thinking that gender identity is kind of irrelevant, especially when the world is at risk. But I'd disagree. Remember how he responded to Klaus's skirt?

This is his first time seeing Klaus in over 40 years.

Unless Viktor mentioned it in Extra Ordinary, Five would have no way of knowing that Klaus is non-binary. So, more than likely, this is his first time finding out that Klaus is, at least, gender non-conforming. There's a small moment of computation in this gif, where he looks at Klaus and goes: "Oh. That's new."

And then he says: "Nice dress."

He didn't have to say anything, but he chooses to make a single, supportive comment before getting back to the task at hand.

He cares, and he loves them, and he is truly happy for them.

sometimes you encounter a spirit problem you can't solve on your own and you break into your teacher's house about it. and then because in addition to being your teacher hes also a family friend you decide to interrogate him about why hes being so weird and secretive. Just normal things!
