I Would Die For You: Tsu’Tey
Avatar Masterlist
word count: 2.6k
description: Tsu’tey would do anything for you even if it meant dying for you.
Tumblr media
I can feel you under my skin
I feel helpless, I'm addicted
I've never felt anything like this
I inhale you, I am weightless
And no matter what I thought
All I want is you
All I want is you
Tsu'tey remembers the first time he saw you and how beautiful you were, he didn't care that you were a dream walker.  He never thought he would fall for someone again after Sylwanin but he couldn't deny that funny feeling he felt in his chest when you smiled at him or the first time you spoke to him.
"Hi, Tsu'tey. I'm y/n." You said softly looking up at him.
"Pretty name for an even prettier girl." He said placing a kiss on your knuckles as you smiled up at him.
From that moment forward Tsu'tey made it his mission to be around you in some shape or form. Even when you weren't around Tsu'tey could still feel you around him and under his skin even when you weren't around, he felt like he was addicted to you and that he couldn't live without you.
He had to have you and that was all he focused on making happen.
And no matter what I say
I will not be thrown away
I'd risk it all for you
I'd die for you
You remember the day that one of the warriors who weren't fond of you or any sky people had laid his hands on you. You two had been sparing when he went way too far with it, leaving you with a broken nose and sprained wrist before taking off with a laugh. Jake had found you stumbling through the woods, and helped you back to the camp so you could get looked at.
"Who did this to you huh?" Tsu'tey said barging into the tent.
"Tsu'tey brother..." Jake tried to say to calm him down but Tsu'tey was seeing red from seeing your condition.
"Who did this to you?" He yelled making you whimper and scoot back on the cot in fear.
"Tsu'tey, you need to calm down! You're scaring her." Neytiri said patting your other arm that Mo'at wasn't working on in comfort.
Tsu'tey looked at you and your frightened state and felt his anger dissolve, he never wants you to be afraid of him. He asked Neytiri to switch spots with him so he could talk to you, which she agreed to before leading Jake out of the tent.
"I'm sorry for yelling. I'm just upset that someone had to put their hands on you." He said running a hand through your hair.
"It's my fault. I actually believed that they wanted to train with me." You said as Tsu'tey began connecting the dots on who did this to you.
"It's not your fault yawne, believe me. I will deal with whose responsible for this." He said placing a kiss on your forehead.
A few days later, you were in your tent resting your hand as Mo'at requested when Jake and Tarsem pushed a bloody verison of your mate into your tent making you look at them wide eyed.
"He nearly killed them. Please clean him up and try to calm him down." Jake asked.
"Should've let me finish the job." Tsu'tey grumbled.
"Tsu'tey why would you do that? You could've lost your title and your spot in the clan?" You asked him as you cleaned him up after the fight.
"I'd risk everything to know you are alright. The skwang should've never put his hands on you in the first place." He said placing his hands on your hips.
"Even if meant you almost dying?" You asked him.
"Even if it meant that. Dying while protecting you would be my greatest honor." He said resting his head on your stomach.
And that's when it hit you that Tsu'tey would do anything and everything for you just to know you were safe and it made you feel so loved but still worried for him as well because you didn't want him dying.
There's nothing I won't do
I beg and plead for you
I'd do it all for you
I'd kill for you
It's simple yes, it's true
There's nothing I won't do
I would die for you (for you)
Tsu'tey remembered the first time he made you sad and how horrible he felt when he saw your tears and how rough it was to go a week without talking to you.
"Please my yawne, talk to me, yell me or something." He pleaded following you around the forest as you continued to ignore him.
"You hurt me with what you said, you may have not been talking about me directly but it still hurt. I can't change that I was a sky person, I've been trying every day to show you and everyone here I belong!" You said with tears running down your face.
"I know y/n! I swear I wasn't thinking when I said those things but I can promise you that I have never thought those about you. I was impressed with your skills early on and your beauty is the first thing about you that amazed me." He said holding your hands in his, trying to get you to believe him.
"Tell me what I must do to hear your beautiful voice again, yawne and I will do it without question." He said.
You can feel me under your eyes
You are breathless, I'm contagious
You've never felt anything like me
It's consuming, you're suffocating
And no matter what you do
All I see is you, all I see is you
Much to how Tsu'tey was feeling in the beginning stages of your relationship, you felt the same way. When you first laid eyes on the tall, strong, beautiful warrior, you were in awe and in love which is something that never happened on Earth. He consumed your every thought from that day forward you would always find ways or excuses to talk to him or be near him.
"Tsu'tey could you help me bow practice?" You would ask and he would happily come help you.
"Hey, Tsu'tey do you think you could accompany me into the forest so I can get some herbs for Mo'at?" You asked.
Every time you asked for something no matter how big or small, he would happily help you which shocked a lot of people. All you saw Tsu'tey inside and out, and he saw the same for you, it was like Eywa had put you two together.
And no matter what I see
I will not be thrown away
I'd lose you all for you
I'd die for you
There's nothing I won't do
I beg and plead for you
I'd do it all for you
I'd kill for you
It's simple, yes, it's true
There's nothing I won't do, I would
You can have it all
You can take my everything
Anything for you
'Cause I'd die for you
'Cause I would die for you
I would break
“Tsu’tey I said I was sorry. What more do you want from me?” You asked your mate who currently giving you the cold shoulder.
You had went out into the forest on your own since everyone was busy and you needed some crystals to make a necklace for Tsu’tey that you were gonna surprise him with. We’ll long story short, you ended up tripping and twisting your ankle leaving you stranded in the middle of the forest and no one knew you were here.
“Just a sprain my dear. Should be healed in a week.” Mo’at said as you thanked her.
“Tsu’tey take her back to your tent and off the foot for the next week.” She said to him as he wordlessly picked you up and carried you to y’all’s tent.
“Ma Tsu. I’m really sorry, i only wanted to go out there to surprise you with something.” You said as he looked at you.
“You did?” He asked.
“That’s why I didn’t ask you. I wanted to be a surprise I thought I could go out there and return in one piece.” You said as he sighed before walking over to you.
“Yawne I was just worried when no one could find you and then when they did you were hurt. I just don’t want anything to happen to you, you mean a lot to me.” He said brushing some of your hair out of your face.
“I really am sorry.” You said to him.
“It’s alright, all is forgiven. Just be careful and try to get help next time, please? I love you too much to let anything happen to you.” He said placing a kiss on your lips.
“I love you too ma Tsu’tey.” You said smiling at him as he climbed into the hammock next to you.
No matter what I say, no matter what we say
All I want is you
No matter what I see, no matter what I do
All I need is you (all I need is you)
No matter what they see, no matter what they say
All I need is you (all I need is you)
No matter what they say, no matter what they say
All I want is you
No matter what they see, no matter what they say
I would die for you
You kept hearing comments from people about how Tsu'tey's protectiveness over you was alarming but to you it made you feel loved, your last partner on earth didn't care for you anywhere close to the way that Tsu'tey did, but still you wondered why he was so protective. So that night while you two laid out looking at the stars, you decided to ask him.
"Ma Tsu, can I ask you something?" You asked.
"Of course ma y.n." He said.
"Can I ask why you are so protective over me?" You asked him.
"I wasn't able to protect my last mate. She died at the hands of the sky people." He said quietly after a few minutes.
"I'm sorry Tsu. I-I didn't know." You said softly as everything started making sense about his behavior.
"I know you didn't. I don't talk about her much but I went to the Spirit Tree to seek her out which had been the first time I had gone and seen her since her death a few days ago." He said.
"What did ask her? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." You said.
"I asked her if it would be okay if I fully mated with you. Me and her were supposed to do that when we became of age but never got to. I wanted to make sure she was okay with it." He said squeezing your hand.
"I understand what you mean. Uh- what did she say?" You asked him.
"She said she was more than okay with it and that she was glad I finally opened my heart up to someone." He said making you smile.
"I'm glad you did too." You said smiling at him.
"Even with my over-protectiveness?" He asked.
"Even with that, I mean now it makes sense and I'd probably act the same if I was in your position but before I always found it cute how worried you got about me, made me happy to be someone who worried enough about my well-being." You said placing a kiss on his lips.
"I love you ma y/n." He said.
"I love you too ma Tsu'tey." You said.
I'd die for you
There's nothing I won't do
I beg and plead for you
I'd do it all for you
I'd kill for you
It's simple, yes, it's true
There's nothing I won't do, I would die
"Tsu'tey, no!" You yelled watching as he ran in front of you shielding your body with his as the bullets pierced through his body.
"Jake! Jake! Anyone we need help! Please." You said into your necklace as you moved Tsu'tey's body out of the way.
"Tsu you skwang! Why would you do that?" You asked holding his head in your lap and lacing your hand with his.
"Because I couldn't let them hurt you y/n, I love you so much." He said as you held his hand to your face as the tears fell.
"Don't cry my yawne, I always said that I would die for you if it came to it." He said giving you a small smile.
"I didn't think you meant literally, how am I supposed to live without you?" You asked as more tears fell down your face.
"You'll never be without me yawne. I'll always be here." He said placing his hand on your heart as you felt his hands start going cold.
"I love you Tsu'tey! Please don't leave me." You said pleading with him as you saw the light go from his eyes.
Jake and Neytiri found you sobbing across his dead body and both felt so bad that they didn't get to you guys faster. Neytiri took a seat next to you and placed a hand on your back as Jake did the same thing hoping to bring you some comfort during this time as they mourned their friend.
"He died saving me." You said quietly through tears.
"He died protecting the one person he loved most in the world." Neytiri said with a sad smile.
You can have it all
You can take my everything
Anything for you
'Cause I'd die for you
'Cause I would die for you
I would die

“I’m assuming the mission went well?” you smile, feeling Tsu’tey place another soft kiss on your temple.
His chest presses into your back, hands resting gently on your waist, while you’re occupied with peeling the fruits he likes. He was gone for only a few hours but was acting so needy, you start to wonder if anything happened.
“Tsu’tey,” you nudge him for an answer, but he only hums in response, now planting small kisses across your cheek and jaw.
“‘Was good,” he mutters, not wanting to bore you with the details.
“Were you safe?” you try to turn around to examine him, but Tsu’tey grunts, holding you in place.
“Just missed you.”
You guess that there’s something weighing on his mind, but you don’t push him. Tsu’tey often has moments, when all he wants to do is to hold you in his arms and listen to your soothing breathing. Eventually, he’ll give you a few hints about it anyway. So, you just pat his arm lightly and return to the task at hand.
Tsu'tey stands with you in silence for a while longer before finally speaking up.
“Neytiri is showing.”
“I know,” you nod, “It suits her.”
As you struggle to reach for another fruit from the basket, Tsu’tey huffs in annoyance and loosens his grip on you. He takes a step back, hating the distance between your bodies, but decides to allow you to finish your work in peace. You can feel his eyes fixed on you, observing every move you make.
“You’re very quiet today,” you turn around to face him, abandoning your task.
Tsu’tey only shakes his head, disagreeing to voice his concern. You rest your hand on his shoulder, gently pushing him down, until he gives in and kneels on the ground. You crouch down next to him, resting your hand on his thigh.
“Talk to me, tìyawn,” you murmur.
Tsu’tey gazes at your hand in silence. But when you lean in to kiss his cheek, he turns his head, catching your lips with his instead. It’s not long before he snakes his arms around your middle again and pulls your body onto his. You giggle, as he sits you down in his lap, enjoying the closeness between you two.
“Right now?” you quirk your eyebrow at him, knowing exactly where he is leading with this.
Tsu'tey's lips find their way to your neck, and you let out a soft sigh as his warm breath tickles your skin. You tilt your head to the side, giving him better access, and he trails a few more kisses before nuzzling his face into your neck.
“‘Aani said that Ti'ung is with a child too,” he whispers, catching your attention.
The two of you have mated before Eywa almost a year ago but Tsu'tey never pressured you into becoming a mother so soon. Just for a while, all he wanted was to have you all to himself. To enjoy restless nights with you without a worry of hurting you or having to share you with anybody else. The first few times you mated, you watched him struggle, as he was holding off the unbearable pleasure, before pulling his member out of you and releasing into his hand instead. Presumably, it became a thing he did every time, and you’ve grown so used to it, that you never once paid a second thought to it.
He was always so respectful and gentle with you, loving every bit of your body, every sound that would escape your lips. And despite his readiness to move into the next stage of your lives, Tsu'tey never allowed himself to impregnate you without earning your permission first. But what he failed to realize is that while you were trembling underneath him, reaching your orgasm, you were never able to think, let alone speak about wanting him to release inside of you.
“What are you hinting at, Tsu’tey?” you pull slightly back to look into his eyes.
“That it might be nice if, growing up, our child is surrounded by a few good kids,” he answers.
“Well, I’m sure Neytiri’s and Jake’s child is going to be just as good as they are,” you nod, agreeing, “And Aani’s and Ti'ung’s too.”
Tsu’tey hums, grateful that you finish his thoughts for him. That you know him so well, see him through and through. Being a man of a few words, he would often get irritated when others failed to understand his thoughts. But with you, it's different. All he cares about is that you see him for who he is, no one else.
“We need to catch up then, huh?” you grin.
Tsu’tey feels his chest swell with love by the way you look at him. So excited, so desperate to create a life with him. He pulls you in for a kiss, pouring all of his gratitude into it, as his hands reach for the ties of your loincloth. You don’t hesitate to reciprocate his desire, and soon the two of you become lost in each other.

First heat (Tsu’tey x reader)
Tumblr media
Masterlist
Description: You unexpectedly entered your first heat with Tsu’tey in close proximity. He helped you through it, but when it was over you made everything way harder than it had to be.
Warnings: pure filth, heat cycles, breeding kink, fingering, p in v, lots of cum, reader being slightly insecure
7631 words
Tsu’tey was insistent on trying to teach you how to hunt. You didn’t get why, it was obviously not your area of expertise - your brother Jake was way more gifted at that - and you would much rather be back in the village patching up someone’s scratches. You even missed Mo’at scolding you with a hiss. But instead you were walking around the forest with bow and arrow, missing every single target Tsu’tey wanted you to hit. It was really getting embarrassing.
“I will never learn this, I don’t get why you insist on it”, you sighed, your bow sinking after another failed attempt. Tsu’tey clucked his tongue in dismay, stepping behind you and lifted your arms up again, the close contact making you nervous. Another reason why him teaching you doesn’t make sense, you had fallen for this man head over heels.
“Try again, it is important to be able to defend yourself in the forest”, his face was stoic, just like always. That’s why you didn’t have any hope for his feelings to be the same as yours, he never had shown any sign that he like you too - not any that you picked up at least. You could understand that of course - his first love and promised mate was killed and the one that was promised to him after that was snatched away by your brother. Just like his position as Olo’eyktan, not that Tsu’tey was mad about that anymore, at least it seemed like he wasn’t. Plus there were other eligible women in the clan who were falling for him just like you, why should a former dreamwalker have any chance.
He didn’t step back, his chest pressed to your back. It felt like your skin was burning where his was touching you, the Na’vi clothing not providing much coverage. You tried to concentrate on your shot, but your hands started trembling slightly, which - eventhough you weren’t good at this - they had never done before. You could basically feel the tall warrior scalding you with his eyes, your face burning in embarrassment.
“What are you doing?”, he barked, stepping around you and pulling the bow out of your hands. He was obviously angry with you, it looked like you got even worse. You lowered your eyes in shame, but simultaneously the way his muscular pecs were only a few centimeters away from your face made you crave his touch.
Eywa, you were in love with him, sure, but never before were you this incompetent at controlling your body’s reactions to him. What the hell was happening? “You can’t even answer me now?”, his voice was rough and you distantly remembered he did in fact ask you something, but your brain was slightly fuzzy and when his large hand grabbed your forearms to get your attention, you let out a pathetic whimper.
You immediately froze, and you felt his eyes run over your body in wonder. But that didn’t matter right now, his hands on your arms were sending a pleasurable sensation right to your core and just from that little contact your loincloth was soaking wet with your slick. How were you this turned on just by a little touch? He touched you before and you could easily keep your dignity until you were alone - thinking about his fingers sinking into you instead of yours.
But now you were so desperate and when you heard him inhale deeply, you were sure he could smell your arousal. You were so embarrassed by all of this, your thighs already rubbing together to get some friction, so your tried to pry yourself out of his hold. Maybe if you could make a run for it you could find some privacy and deal with this? But he wouldn’t let go.
“Tsu’tey”, this was meant to come out as a scolding for not letting you go, but instead it sounded like you were whining his name, the blush on your cheeks reaching to the tips of your ears. „What-”, the man in front of you started but interrupted himself. „You are in heat“, he stated and your face fell.
No way. No way was this happening now! Your first heat, right here, right now? You thought you wouldn’t get one at all to be honest, the scientist always said because you had humans DNA too, it would be unlikely that you would experience heats or ruts. You were just a former botanist, who were you to question that. But fuck them, they were obviously wrong.
„What? No, no that can’t be, I’ll just go home and-”, you were panicking, you had never thought about how you would deal with this, but he interrupted you. „No. You will not go near any unmated males“, he was basically growling and the sound made your knees buckle, some primal instinct telling you to submit to this dominant male. Luckily he caught you, but now you were caged in his arms and pressed to his body, another whimper leaving you.
Tsu’tey had to clench his jaw, all his selfcontrol working on not pushing you onto all fours and breeding you until you couldn’t take any more of his cum. But he knew this was your first heat, and being a former dreamwalker, you weren’t prepared for this. It was common for unmated Na’vi to help eachother out during their cycles, and when you talked about going back to your hut, he knew the other males were going to pounce on you immediately. Such a beautiful woman in heat? They would be all over you.
The thought of someone else helping you through this nearly drove him insane, so he decided he would be the one to fuck you, your pheromones making him extra protective. He was planning on making you his mate anyway, he had his courting gift nearly finished. Eywa, he was the only one even allowed to look at you right now. „I will help you through your heat. Get on all fours“, he told you and almost pushed you down yourself, when you looked up at him with this big innocent eyes.
„What?“, you were shocked. Was he offering to have sex with you right now? „It is common for unmated Na’vi to help eachother through their cycle, and you clearly need someone to breed you or this is going to be painful“, he was so cold, almost making you feel like this was straight up business for him, but he was right and the subtle pain that started to throb in your belly was making you desperate.
Before you could say anything else, he picked you up by the waist and turned you around, pushing you onto all fours with your back arched. Was this how Na‘vi had sex? There wasn’t much known about it, but you kind of felt like this was really…distant or something. Not intimate. Not what your humanself was used to. But you were panting and when her ripped off your loincloth, you could feel some of your slick drip down your thigh.
You could feel some rustling behind you, and then you felt two of his fingers slide into you. You were a mess instantly, pushing back against his hand and soft mewls leaving your mouth. You couldn’t believe the man you were in love with was about to fuck you, and the way you were so deperate would surely make you blush later on but right now all you cared about was being filled.
His thumb started to circle your clit, and the coil in your stomach was tightening. Your fingers clawed at the soft, mossy forest ground and your eyes were screwed shut, just chasing that high while his fingers were pressing into that spongey spot inside you with every stroke.
Your walls startled fluttering around his finger, you were so close to cumming. „You going to cum for me? Cum all over my fingers?“, the strict warrior behind you seemed totally composed still, but his voice and the realization that it was really him fingering you, pushed you over the edge. „Tsu’tey!“, you whimpered his name while sucking in his fingers, your thighs shaking and your slick making a mess.
„Eywa, would you look at this perfect pussy“, the warrior was starting to lose his composure, his cock already embarrassingly hard for not being the one going through his cycle. But the thought of burying himself in that hot and wet pussy made him almost cum on the spot. You were so perfect, taking everything he gave you so well, being so ready to take his seed.
You were calming down a little, the fog lifting slightly and you could feel his hard cock slide between your folds, being mounted by his large body making even more slick gush out of you. But when you felt his head slightly catch on your entrance, you suddenly felt the need to be closer to him. Maybe he didn’t reciprocate your feelings, but you had them, and you felt this position wasn’t giving you the intimacy you craved right now.
„Wait! Wait“, you tried to wriggle out of his grip, and after a little struggle he let you go with an unhappy grunt. You turned onto your back, propping yourself on your elbows, and the picture of him sitting back on his knees, his throbbing cock standing proudly between his muscular thighs almost made you cum again. „I want to look at you“, you were slightly embarrassed again, he probably thought this was dumb. On all fours was probably just the way they did it.
Look at him? He wasn’t sure about you on your back, Na’vi normally mated on all fours, it was the way of things. But he had to admit, you laying there with your legs spread, your perfect pussy on show, he was definitely curious about doing it that way. Also he could never refuse you, and the one he wanted to mate with wanting to look at him while he was fucking her, wanting to be closer to him, made his heart beat faster and his hard exterior soften a little. He slowly nodded, and the smile on your face was worth everything.
You layed down fully, relaxing a little more and spreading your thighs wider to invite him in. He seemed a little hesitant, but you felt the desperation sink in again (his fingers only delaying the full force of your heat that much), so you lifted your arms to let him know you needed him. „Need you Tsu’tey“, your voice was gentle and a little whiny and at that he immediately wedged himself in between your legs, his hard cock coating itself in your slick and mixing it with his precum.
You breath was starting to quicken, and you laced your fingers behind his neck, pulling him so close that your nipples were rubbing against his chest, the stimulation making you moan. He mounted you more securely, the biceps next to your head bulging and his battlescarred body caging you in. It was starting to hurt again, his rutting against your cunt not being enough. But then the leaking head of his dick moved to your entrance, gently pushing in.
Right away you tried to squirm closer, pull him into you fully and finally have some release from the uncomfortable feeling the heat generated. But he shushed you, keeping your hips in his hands and you couldn’t do anything but pout a little. Then he finally eased in all the way, you were tight around him but so damn slick that it didn’t hurt. He stopped once he bottomed out, his heavy balls resting against your ass and you finally felt so perfectly full that your hands gripped his biceps and you relaxed a little.
Tsu’tey was in ecstasy. He really had to admit that he loved this position right now, being able to see your beautiful face all pleasured and blushed made it hard not to pound into you right away. He wanted to mate with you so bad, make tsaheylu and you’d be his forever. But it was frowned upon to mate when one was going through their cycle, they weren’t really responsible in their decisions and as much as he wanted you as his mate: ultimately you had to want it to.
When he stopped and you felt him staring at you, you became impatient. „Tsu’tey“, you were begging at this point, your instincts taking over, „please move!“ He seemed to snap out of his stupor, bracing himself and starting to pull back out of you before thrusting back in. He found a rhythm, your legs hiking up on their own and wrapping around his narrow waist. You were blissed-out, his head battering your cervix and his balls slapping against your ass, soaked in a mix of your slick and his precum, was pushing you closer and closer to your high.
He was grunting above you, eyes screwed shut in pleasure, you were gripping him like a vice and he wanted to cum deep inside of you so badly. He was picking up his pace, one of his hand grabbing you leg and pulling it over his arm, the new angle suddenly allowed him to sink a bit further into you and you were clawing at his back in pleasure, a growl leaving his mouth.
You felt him hit that one spongey spot inside of your wet pussy, and you couldn’t help it, you had to be near him. So your hand took a hold of his cheeks and you pulled him into a kiss. He faltered slightly, but when his brain registers what you were doing, he kissed you back fiercely, his cock fucking into you relentlessly.
When he felt you clench around him he knew you were close, so he pulled back, littering your neck with soft kisses and the whine you let out nearly made him cum right then and there. But he held back and guided his hand between you, his rough fingers circling your clit and you immediately came around him. You were basically screaming his name, your walls gripping him so hard and your slick drenching him and he couldn’t hold out anymore. His hips rutted into you a few more times before he groaned and forcefully pushed himself as deep as you would take him.
You were still riding out your high when you felt him push into you hard, his groan making you shiver and then you felt his hot cum flow inside of you. His cock completely sealed anything from leaking out, so you were clenching in sensitivity when you felt it flow into your womb, finally satisfying the dull pain of your heat. He lowered his body so he was embracing you completely, but not crushing you with his weight. You were so, so comfortable with his skin pressed to yours, his dick still inside you and your heat ebbing away a little. Before you knew it, you were passed out in his strong arms.
Tsu’tey felt your breath even out, making him smile. You were so comfortable with him and trusted him enough to fall asleep in his arms, Eywa he would make you his, he definitely would. He laid there with you a couple of minutes basking in your presence and your small hands on his chest, but then he noticed eclipse was close. He pulled out carefully, you were whining quietly and he scolded at his cum leaking out of you, unhappy that it wasn’t staying inside. He was tempted to push it back in with his fingers, but he didn’t want to wake you. He decided he would dress you back up and sneak you into the village and into his hut, your heat wasn’t over yet.
What he didn’t know, was that Jake and Neytiri were wondering where you two were and had taken a seat in a tree not far from his home. So they saw him carry your sleeping form into his hut and Neytiri smirked, while Jake frowned. „What the hell is he doing with my sister?“, Jake growled, but Neytiri just patted his arm. „Mawey ma Jake“, she grinned, rooting for you and her friend, maybe you would finally mate after this, „(Y/N) is in heat.“ Jakes eyes widened. „So he-”, Jake was slightly shocked, he had never went through a rut, so he expected you to not go through a heat, but these bodies were full of surprises. „I think you don’t want to hear exactly what they are doing, she is your sister after all“, Neytiri laughed at the face her mate pulled, „come one let’s leave them alone.“
—————————
Tsu’tey was asleep next to you in his hut, but with a female in heat next to him, more precisely a female that he wanted to mate with, he was still on high alert. And when he felt you stir in the early hours of the morning, painful whimpers leaving your mouths, he was wide awake in seconds. You were laying next to him, fingers buried deep inside your swollen and wet pussy, and your eyes were screwed shut. You looked unhappy, your fingers would never be enough to satisfy your heat. The sight was so sinful, his cock was hard already.
„Why didn’t you wake me?“, your eyes sprung open in shock, and you looked into his scolding face. You didn’t even realize he was awake. „I-I didn’t want to be a nuisance“, you were blushing when his eyes were taking in your fingers that still buried inside of you, and you pulled them out, closing your thighs in embarrassment.
Tsu’tey snatched your hand up and took your soaked fingers into his mouth, the sound of his groan making you rub your legs together for some friction, the painful sensation in your womb bugging you to no end. „You will never be a nuisance to me yawne, this pussy belongs to me and if you call for me I will be there to breed you“, he was growling under his breath and his possessive behavior made you clench around nothing.
If he would say something like this to your not-in-heat-self you would be going crazy, but all you could think about was him mounting you again. „I need you ma Tsu’tey“, the intimate pet name slipped out accidentally, but it did something to him. His pupils were blown and he climbed on top of you, pushing your legs open with ease, his hips settling between them, he seemingly liked the position from earlier. One of his large hands gripped your jaw firmly, his lips pressing to yours softer than you thought was possible for an experienced warrior like him. Your heart was beating so hard you could hear it in your ears.
His lips made their way along your jaw and started nipping at your neck, definitely leaving marks, but you didn’t care, your hands were busy untying his loincloth. When you were finally successful (his lips and your heat making you dizzy) his fully erect cock slapped against your lower stomach and you couldn’t wait for him to be buried inside of you again. He moaned at the friction he got from rubbing against you, angling his hips so that his dick could slide between your already sensitive folds, making your hips jerk when he slid over you clit.
He pulled of your top, your tits bouncing slightly and he started sucking your nipples, your back arching and your chest pressing into his face. „You are so perfect“, you heard him mumbling against you, his braids softly sliding over your skin and making you shiver, but the heat inside of you was getting unbearable and he seemed to notice, because he hesitantly pulled away from your chest and moved his hips so that his length was buried inside of you within seconds. You were so slick and ready from before and from your heat, that he slid in without resistance, a moan leaving you when the emptiness was filled once again.
The strong warrior caging you in started moving right away, he could smell your heat was burning inside of you and you needed him. You were clinging to him while he pounded into you, your whole being at his mercy, and it made him want to please you even more. „Who do you belong to ma (Y/N)?“, he was grunting through his teeth while his veiny cock was battering your needy pussy. You didn’t seem to be able to answer him, but he needed you to say it. „Say it!“, he barked, a particularly forceful thrust making you scream slightly before finally whimpering: „You, I belong to you, I always have!“ He smirked, satisfied with your answer and concentrating on making you cum again.
You would be absolutely mortified by all of this when your heat was over, but now you were in paradise, you were nearing your high and you couldn’t wait for him to fill you up. „Fuck, can I turn you around tìyawn?“, Tsu’tey was panting and you nodded desperately. You wanted to be closer to him before, but now you felt like you were so close already, the position didn’t matter anymore. He gripped your hips tightly, turning you around without pulling out and settling you down on your knees.
Your legs were shaking so bad, but he held most of your weight, so you just had to concentrate to stay bend down on your forearms. That proved to be a challenge, because you could swear the new angle made him slip as deep as never before, your eyes growing wide at the borderline painful feeling. Your primal self was basically purring with the pride of being able to take him so deep and you wrapped your tail around his arm instinctively. When he started moving he caught your spongey spot with every thrust, making you claw at the weaved ground of his hut helplessly.
Having such a strong and tall warrior dominate you like this, made your walls clench around his girthy cock and he groaned, bending over your body and positioning his arms next to your head, his chest slightly pressed to your chest. You were practically buried under his muscular form and his tail had tightly wound itself around your thigh for support, still impaled on and being thrusted into by his massive dick.
„You are taking me so well, so ready for me to breed you and fill you up“, his lips were grunting right in your ear, making them twitch, pulling chuckle from him. „Need you, need your cum ma Tsu’tey“, you whined and again, the pet name riled him up, his thrusts getting rougher and his hand finding your clit. You were so on edge that his fingers only needed to graze it and you exploded around him, making a mess of his cock.
He felt your body convulse underneath him, his grip on you tightening or you would have crashed into the floor. The sounds you let out went straight to his groin, the look of your swollen and slick pussy clenching around him and pulling him in with every thrust made him reach the edge too, a few more ruts into your tight cunt and he forced all he had inside of you.
In the midst of your orgasm you could feel his balls were tightening, his cocky twitching inside of you and then with one final groan the head that was tightly lodged against your battered cervix started gushing his seed into your womb for the second time. You were so deep into your heat, that before you fully finished your first orgasm the feeling of his hot cum pushed you into another one.
„Tsu’tey“, some tears were leaking out of your eyes from all these overwhelming feelings, your high milking him for everything he’s got. „You’re doing so well ma sevin“, he grunted next to your ear, his forehead resting against your temple, planting a soft kiss on your hot cheek. When you calmed down a little, he carefully maneuvered you two to lay on your sides, his legs meddled with yours and his strong arms holding you closely to his muscular abs and chest. His cock was still inside of you, keeping his cum locked there and you were so exhausted and satisfied that you fell asleep again, a smile forming on Tsu’teys face when he watched you relax into him.
—————————
It had been three days that Tsu’tey has fucked you in every position you could have ever imagined, filling you with his cum over and over and when you awoke on the fourth day you could feel that the dull pain in your womb was still there, but less noticeable. You were still pretty foggy from everything and didn’t notice the warrior next to you was awake too.
„Come on, it’s still really early, we should head to the spring and get cleaned up“, he whispered softly in your ear, stroking your cheek. You just hummed in agreement, and he knew you probably couldn’t walk so he got up with your form draped across his front, holding you up by your thighs and your head settling into his neck, your lips brushing his pulse making him purr. He could smell your heat was starting to subside, so he wanted to move you to the spring. You would probbaly need to be bred one more time, but he would do it there. He could feel both your bodies needed the fresh water, eventhough he liked his smell all over you.
You didn’t really remember much of the way, but when you felt him submerge your lower bodies in the soft water of the small spring, you peaked up slightly, letting out a sigh. He walked further in until only your heads were sticking out. The water was breathing some life back into you and you noticed that your heat wasn’t over fully yet, because the need for his cock to fill you was starting to flare up again.
„Can we go under for a second?“, your voice was barely above a whisper, and he smiled at you, your cheeks burning. „Sure“, he kissed you softly, taking you by surprise, but before you could react he pulled back and eased you both underwater. It felt good to get all the sweat and cum off of you, but you were also so glad that he was still holding you in his arms, his closeness dulling the pain in your womb.
Tsu’tey pulled you both up again, the sight of your perfectly soft skin covered in little water droplets made him choke. You looked ethereal, and he vowed to be the only one ever seeing you like this. But he could also see you were getting aroused again, the last wave of your heat starting. It wouldnt be as intense as the others, but he was still eager to give you his all.
He slowly walked back towards the shallow water, your loincloths and your top dripping and creating little disruptions in the water. He laid you down on the smooth stones, you were submerged to about ten centimeters, the water having a nice cooling effect. „Hm you ready to take me one last time ma yawntu?“, he murmered into your ear, his tail thrashing lazily behind him.
Eywa, you would do anything for this man. The way he was so gentle with you in this moment made you almost tear up (your emotions were running really high right then). „Yes, yes please I need you“, you softly whimpered, pulling off your top and loincloth with shaky hands, the last wave of your heat making the slick gather again between your legs.
Tsu’tey was way softer with you this time, taking his time with preparing you (not that you needed it after three days of being fucked by him) and pulling an orgasm out of you, before finally pulling off his own loincloth. You were a panting mess underneath him already, making him smirk slightly, Eywa, when you were his, he would have you like this every day.
He balanced his weight on one arm and gripped his leaking cock, moving it up and down your slit and catching onto clit now and then just to see you squirm. „Tsu’tey“, you whined, still sensitive from your prior orgasm, and he finally relented. He pushed his head in and adjusted his position slightly, before sinking into you fully.
He didn’t give you time to adjust, but you didn’t need it, and he thrusted into you with precision, but more gentle than the times before. You were grateful, eventhough you were feeling so blissful right now, your pussy was still so sensitive and swollen from being fucked around the clock. His whole body was covering you, and you lost yourself in his rhythm, but then he suddenly turned you both around, so you were lying on top.
He sat up and slightly crossed his legs, his strong arms wrapping around you and pulling you as close as possible. Because you had absolutely no strength left in your legs, you weren’t able to hold yourself up and slid all the way onto his cock, the depth he was reaching making you yelp and grab his shoulders for support. „Tsu’tey I don’t think my legs can-”, you wanted to tell him you wouldn’t be able to ride him, but he smirked and interrupted you.
„Don’t worry I got you, just wanted to hold you closer“, he explained with his rough voice and you quite literally melted into his arms. He could be such a softie if he wanted to. He started thrusting up into you from underneath you, and you moaned, admiring how high his stamina was. His dick was reaching so far into you, his veins and texture rubbing against the spongey spot and his hand guiding you up and down a little without you having to really engage any muscle. Not that you were able to, you were so fucked out.
He was so tall compared to your small frame, that eventhough you were sitting on him he had to lean down a little to kiss you. You loved his kisses, his lips fit perfectly against yours, and when he pushed his tongue against yours, you pulled yourself closer with a moan. You wished he would be yours forever, not only for these few days. Even thinking about not having him close anymore made you shiver, but you pushed that thought away for now.
„Want you to cum around my cock again, going to fill you up one more time“, he panted slightly, the exertion from this position making him grunt, but he loved how close you were so he didn’t care. You whined and could feel yourself nearing your high again, and after three days he could read your body body perfectly, so he immediately pulled one hand away from your waist and wedged it in between you two, circling your clit.
When he started to nip at your neck, you reached your peak, pulling him in and gushing all over his cock. This one was so intense you let out a scream of his name, your vision going white for a moment. „Fuck such a good girl“, he groaned, his hips stuttering slightly and then he pulled you down as much as possible, before he came too, his seed spurting deep inside your already awaiting womb. The dull pain of your heat subsided completely at that, and you came down from your high slowly, sighing into his neck and clenching from the overstimulation.
He was out of breath, but he watched with a smile how the exhaustion of your heat being over hit you like a rock. You were falling asleep in his arms again, and he kissed your cheek softly, carefully pulling out and dressing you two up again, before carrying you back to his hut. When you had slept the exhaustion off, he planned to ask you to be his mate right away, he had finished the necklace he made as a courting gift over the past few days when you were sleeping. You would be his.
————————
When you awoke the next time, it was early morning, and the man next to you was surprisingly still asleep. The man next to you. Tsu’tey was laying next to you! Your brain was fully awake in seconds, and everything that happened the last few days came crushing down on your now totally clear mind. Oh my god. This fine warrior had bent you in all positions thinkable and fucked you!
This was bad, your now fully functional brain riddled with insecurity. Did he only help you through your heat, because you were around him when it started? Or because he feels responsible for you? Fuck, you quite literally threw yourself at this tall Na’vi, you wanted the ground to swallow you right then and there. You even called him ‚ma Tsu’tey’ the pet name normally reserved for mated couples, how were you supposed to recover from this, you would never get over your feelings now, and it would probably always be awkward between you. Maybe not on his part, helping eachother through cycles was normal after all, but definitely on yours.
You would always have to think about this when you looked at him in the future, a future where he one day would have a mate and a life without you. Your breathing was picking up speed, and you just couldn’t stay there. If he woke up and told you to go now that your heat was over, you would never ever recover from that rejection. And you also didn’t want him to feel obligated to anything, you had been clingy and desperate enough these past days. The memories made your cheeks burn.
So you carefully pulled yourself out of his arms, the unhappy grunting making you fear that he was waking up, but he settled down again and his breathing evened out. You got up, standing on your wobbly legs, your muscles aching from the exertion of the past days, but after a few clumsy steps, you walked out of his hut with some dignity.
Getting down the tree with sore muscles was another challenge, and you were glad most of the village was still sleeping so they couldn’t witness this. Your hut was in another corner of the forest surrounding the village, and when you finally made it up there you fell into the bedlike plantfibres in the corner with a thud. Your legs were shaking again, but atleast you made it home. Compared to Tsu’teys hut yours was way smaller, you hadn’t built it yourself (you could never do this), it was a gift from the villagers, as you were the sister of Toruk Makto.
You were laying there staring up at the ceiling, hearing the soft wind rustle the leaves, and it fully sank in that you had had everything you wanted with the man of your dreams for the last few days, and now that was over. You were already longing to be in his arms again, the thought of never being this close to him again made your eyes water. And when you thought of having to face him again, the exhaustion and emotions broke all your walls, and you were crying silently until you had cried everything out.
————————
When Tsu’tey woke up, he wanted to pull you close again, but froze when he noticed you weren’t in his arms. His eyes flew open and he quickly scanned the hut, his mind playing one scenario more horrible than the last when you weren’t there. He immediately took his knive and put on his sheath, ignoring all the clan members greeting him and climbing up the tree where your hut was located in record time. But you weren’t there, and that’s when he began to panick.
He found your brother and Neytiri talking near their own hut, and rudely interrupted them, but he didn’t care he needed to know you were safe. „Where is your sister Jake Sully?“, his voice was rough and the pair flinched slightly at the sudden appearance of the warrior. „I think I saw her go into the forest earlier, did something happen?“, the Olo’eyktan was worried, he thought you and Tsu’tey had feelings for one another, why didn’t his best warrior know your whereabouts. „Where?“, Tsu’tey ignored Jakes question and Neytiri was looking thoughtful, her eyebrows furrowed. „Right there, in the direction of the spring“, your brother was pointing to his right, and Tsu’tey ignored his further questioning, disappearing into the forest too.
You managed to avoid Tsu’tey all day, he probably wanted to tell you that you should keep your relations on the low, and you just weren’t ready to face his rejection yet. It seemed like the other females of the clan knew he helped you through your heat, because you were getting some nasty stares and they obviously talked about you, but you knew they wouldn’t touch you - your brothers position protecting you.
Tsu’tey wasn’t worried anymore, he was getting frustrated bordering on angry with you. Why were you running from him? You had been so needy and clingy a day ago and now he couldn’t seem to get a hold of you. He was standing near the seated Na‘vi who had dinner, not hungry himself - at least not for food. He had thought that maybe you would come here, but he didn’t see you. „You know, eventually that frown is going to be permanent“, Jake stood next to him, and Tsutey just scoffed at the comment.
„She will come around, she’s just…she was human at one point you know“, he continued talking to him and Tsu’tey perked up. „What do you mean?“, his eyes stopped searching the crowd for you and settled on the Olo’eyktan. „Humans don’t…get that physical that quickly, at least my sister never did. And she really likes you, the way I know her, I think that she’s probably scared to be rejected now that her mind is clear and functioning again“, Jake hadn’t talked to you today either, you had avoided everyone, but he just knew his little sister.
„Reject her? Why the fuck would I do that?“, Tsu’teys frown deepened and the former dreamwalker smiled. He knew his sister would be in good hands once she got over herself. „You should talk to her, I’m pretty sure I saw her slip past your gaze a minute ago and in the direction of her hut“, Jake smirked when Tsu’tey immediately took off.
You sighed when you sat down on the soft plantfibres in the corner of your small home. You had manage to dodge the tall Na‘vi warrior all day, and you hoped you were safe here for the night. Maybe you could face him tomorrow. The tsmisnrr illuminated your hut softly and you felt like you could finally relax, when someone barged into your home, making you jump. (Lantern the Na‘vi use for light)
Your heart dropped when your gaze met Tsu’teys, his eyes looking down on your shrinking form with anger, his regular frown etched onto his forehead. „What are you- Why are you-”, you were stuttering around and blushed slightly under his intense stare, and with a few long strides, he sank to his knees infront of you. „Why did you leave? Why were you running from me?“, he was basically snarling at you and you flinched.
This wasn’t what you expected, you thought he would reject you right away, telling you he was just helping you through your heat and to not interpret more into this. „Uhm…I-I didn’t want to bother you?“, it sounded like a question and it made him scoff. „Why the fuck would you think you would bother me? Have the last three days meant nothing to you?“, he was still angry, but you could also see that he was slightly hurt. That shocked you, you didn’t think he would care if you left.
„No! I mean yes, yes they did, I just…didn’t think they meant anything to you“, the last part was whispered so quietly that you weren’t sure he heard, but he did and his face fell slightly. „What?“, his posture was sagging a little, and you were talking again before you could stop your mouth.
„I-I thought you were just helping me through my heat? And I’m sorry for…throwing myself at you in the forest the way that I did, I didn’t want to make you do anything you didn’t want to, you could have taken me to someone else for help I promise I wouldn’t have been mad“, you were ashamed again when you though back on how desperate you were. He stiffened, his muscles rigid and his gaze dark, and you shrank a little more.
„You would’ve rather someone else had fucked you the last three days?“, his voice was dangerously calm, but he was boiling under the surface. Even the thought of someone else helping you through your heat made him want to commit murder. „No! I mean I…“, you took a deep breath, „I wanted it to be you, but I didn’t want you to feel like you had to. You don’t have to feel like you’re obligated to me or something.“ This made him relax slightly, he was so confused by you still though.
„You didn’t make me do anything, I’ve thought about fucking you almost since the day I met you, and there won’t ever be anyone else who will touch you like that yawne, trust me“, he grunted and he couldn’t control his urge to be near you anymore. He missed your touch all day, and when you didn’t resist his hand taking yours, he used it to pull you into his lap, his arms circling around your waist and holding your sweet blushing self close to him.
„I meant what I said the last days, you are mine“, you refused to meet his eyes, „I see you (Y/N).“ At this you looked up in shock. What? Did he really just say what you thought he did? „What?“, your voice was choked and you looked at him with big eyes, his hands stroking your back distracting you slightly. “I don’t understand why you ever thought I wouldn’t want you, but I chose you as my mate a long time ago”, your heart skipped a beat, you couldn’t believe this was happening.
Tsu’tey fiddled with the little pouch in his waist for a second and you were breathless. He pulled out a beautiful necklace, small pearls and stones and crystals in colors that matched his own were artistically woven together in a small intricate row. “I made this for you, as a courting gift, if you accept me as your mate”, his voice was soft now, he was holding the necklace up to you, offering himself as your mate and your eyes were watering slightly.
You started to nod immediately, your voice not quite working yet. “Yes, yes, please, will you put it on me?”, you were shaking slightly in his arms, and the relief he felt when you accepted him was making him feel weightless. A rare smile made its way onto his face, and he carefully fixed the necklace around your flawless throat. It was more like a loose chocker and it looked perfect on you. Everyone could see you were his now.
“I see you Tsu’tey”, you whispered and he was the happiest man on the whole planet, his lips finding yours automatically. After spending the whole day without you, he finally felt whole again. When you two separated to breathe, he finally asked what was burning on his mind still. “I still don’t understand why you were avoiding me”, he was just curious at this point, you already agreed to be his after all.
“Uh…I just was convinced you helped me through my heat out of obligation and were going to reject me the next time we saw eachother”, the tips of your ears were burning, and he was still not satisfied with that explanation. “I was tending to your every need for three days, and you thought I would reject you?”, his voice was slightly offended, and you were quick to explain.
“It’s just that, it’s so unrealistic for you to choose me as your mate. There are so many talented and fully Na’vi women who would immediately agree to be yours. I didn’t think you were interested in a former human”, you were hesitant to spill your insecurities, but you knew he deserved to know that it were your insecurities that kept you away and that it wasn’t his fault at all.
“You are fully Na’vi, you are one of the people. And there is no other woman I would ever even think about in that way, you are the only one I will ever want, the only one who owns my heart”, he softly kissed you again, Eywa he could be so sweet. “Tìyawn, I can’t wait anymore, I need to make you mine right now”, he was getting impatient, pulling you up with him and leading you down the tree.
“Where are we going?”, you were hoping it would be somewhere where he would spread your legs again, you already felt empty just thinking about it. You swear he could smell the moisture gathering between your legs, because his head whipped around with a smirk while he pulled you through the forest. “Utral Aymokriyä, to mate with you before Eywa“, he smiled down at you, and you couldn’t believe he was really going to be your mate soon.
—————————
Another one for Tsu’tey because he’s just my favorite <3 hope you enjoyed as people I love for your sweet and encouraging comments so leave some love!

Tsu’tey as a Girl Dad
lil headcannons cus i’m bored and have no motivation to finish my stories rn IM SORRY
||
Tumblr media
definitely was silent by your side during the birth, didn’t want to annoy you with any comments cause he could tell the amount of pain you were in
let you grip onto his hand like you were gonna break it, hurt him a lot but he wouldn’t let you let go of him even tho it made him lowkey shed a tear
gives you a kiss when the baby is finally out, thanking you and congratulating you first before he coddled the baby
notices the baby has his eyes but your facial structure, dies from happiness
check all over his daughter to make sure everything looks okay cus he’s obsessive over his girlies like that
.
if his daughter starts crying late into the night he forces you back down to sleep so he can take care of her and soothe her
goes hunting early morning so he can spend the rest of the day taking care of both of you
even though you’re no longer pregnant he grew the habit or not letting you do much, so he braids your hair still, puts your top and loincloth on, cleans up for you etc
brings back pretty flowers or colorful woods/craft material and gives to his daughter, makes her small beads that you put in her hair
.
once she’s grown up she’s an ABSOLUTE daddy’s girls, he tends to still look over her as if she was a child and scares away any potential mates like, “come near my daughter again and i’ll skin you”
he taught her how to hunt efficiently, didn’t allow anyone else to do it because he wanted to make sure she wouldn’t get hurt in someone else’s care
he even crafted her own dagger when she came of age
tsu’tey literally cried when she claimed her first ikran for her coming of age, you had to hide his face because he didn’t want others seeing him so vulnerable
you were dying laughing
your daughter was embarrassed though, like “daaaaaaaad stop you’re embarrassing me right now!” mid wrestle with her ikran
sets a strict curfew for her because hello??? tsu’tey starts panicking if she’s late or even goes out cus he’s so protective
you have to make sure he’s not overbearing though and that she can have some actual freedom as other teen na’vi do
let’s her friends come over because he literally can’t say no to her, you then force him to clean up the mess they made cus you told him only two friends were okay but he agreed to like five
you love seeing them bond. seeing them hunting together, making new weapons that match, putting matching beads in their hair so all three of you match warms your heart sm.
he always shows her that the biggest/shiniest bead in his songcord is for when she was born, made her cry when she first found out.
overall he’s definitely a girl dad u cant tell me otherwise

“lay back mama, I want to try something,” jake whispered as his large hand gently pushed your shoulders down.
obeying his orders, you quickly settling into the soft furs that littered the pods floor. as you stared up at your mate you sent a hasty thanks to Eywa that the kids were all out at a clan celebration.
drinking in the delicious sight of Jake hovering above you with a devilish gleam in his eyes, you were unable to stop the shiver that raced up your spine. you could only hope he had his filthy way with you.
slowly you watched him pull his long braid from over his shoulder, one hand rubbing slow circles upwards to the spot you needed him most. he had been teasing you for what felt like hours, your clit pulsing harshly against the cool evening air.
“ma’jake, please,” you whined, pushing your hips further into his strong hands.
“hold on baby girl, I’m going to make you feel so good, promise sweet girl,” he cooed gently at you, both hands lingering along your waist.
feeling more irritated than relaxed at his words, you glared upwards and opened your mouth to protest when Jake connected the tendrils of his queue right to your aching cunt.
the two of you sucked in a harsh breath before a loud moan penetrated the air, not just anyone’s moan. the loud almost pornographic sound had tumbled out of the mouth of you.
Jake’s eyes lit up with renewed excitement, he never new this little old thing could rip a sound like that out of you. But god he wanted to do it again.
The tendrils moved lazily around your clit, each twitch sending a jolt of electricity straight to your womb. this was good, no this was down right delectable.
jake moved the queue at a quick pace that led your hips to thrust forward to meet it with each movement. The orgasm that had been teased all evening slammed into you, your body shaking from the harsh release.
“fuck yawne, if I knew you would cum this much I would have done this sooner,” jake exclaimed in a strange sort of amazement.
as you came down from your high an idea popped into your head and you were quickly turning the tables on your mate.
“now ma’jake, lay back there’s something I wish to try,” you repeated, smirk adorning your lips.

You still remembered the day you were chased through the forest with Jake, jumping into the waterfall on nothing but a will to live. You remembered Neytiri jumping in front of you, saving you both, you had never been more thankful and terrified of someone in your life.
You remembered how a group of men on direhorse threw ropes around your feet then continued to lead to the Hometree. It was surreal, to be with them. To live among them. But it wasn’t how you had hoped.
You hoped to meet with them, learn there culture and be able to retell your findings when you returned to your natural form. Yet, it was nothing like that.
It was because of Jake. He was the warrior of the ‘Jarhead’ clan. God, he was so intolerable but yet he was the one person who could understand your struggles of being with the people because he was right there beside you.
But with all you efforts over the years to learn about the Na’vi, it was nothing in comparison to him being tutored by Neytiri.
On the night when the Olo’eyktan decided to keep you both, it was rather a keep the man and his dog. They thought nothing of you, just another sky scientist. So, you weren’t entitled to Neytiri’s teachings, you were entitled to stare from far away and hope that maybe you could gain a bit of knowledge from observing the pair.
That’s what you were doing right now, crouching down hiding behind a lush shrub looking at the two talk to Tsu’tey as Jake sat in a puddle of mud. Maybe you weren’t missing out on too much?
Resting on the balls of your feet and long fingers keeping the bush apart you peered onto the ongoing scene. But Tsu’tey had disappeared. He must’ve gone off in a hurry, it wasn’t like he enjoyed the company of you two aliens anyway.
“You. What is wrong with you?”
“FUCK!” You jumped in fright falling to the ground looking up at an unimpressed Tsu’tey from above you. Your heart felt like it was beating out of your chest as you tried to regain your composure, shying away from the looming figure.
“Go home. You will not embarrass yourself like that there.” You desperately wanted to go back to your human form, but it wasn’t worth it. This, what you were experiencing was ground-breaking to your studies. Plus, Grace would skin you.
Pushing yourself off the ground, brushing the dirt off your grazed knee your stared up at him. How do you even respond to him? He was terrifying. Such a powerful figure it seemed stupid to stand up to him.
You were no Jake. You wouldn’t ridicule the future leader, and you were no ‘warrior’. You were truly just a useless being to them. Nothing to learn, nothing to gain.
“Tsa’hik has medicine for that. Go” You wished your feet would move. God, this is so embarrassing! Are you really paralysed in fear? Because of Tsu’tey. It’s laughable. You tried to move, but all you could do was stare into his unimpressed eyes and wish your link failed so you could escape this hellhole. “Are you ill?”
“No.”
“Then why are you not moving?” Sometimes you were grateful you learnt Na’vi so you could have more in depth and intellectual conversations with the people. This is not what you imagined your conversations would be.
“No. I am.” Tsu’tey scoffed at you. Fuck. What if you just died. Didn’t come back. Met Eywa and apologized for the inconvenience.
“You alien, should go. Fix whatever is wrong with you.” Yet he wasn’t leaving. You pleaded that he would leave in a huff, upset at stupidity. But he still stood there!
“I am afraid of you.” It was a meek whisper. Something you should never of said as your heart beated aggressively against your ribs as if it was trying to escape its chamber.
Tsu’tey let out the heartiest chuckle as he stared down at you. Crapcrapcrapcrapcrap. Oh how you wished your feet weren’t bolted into the ground. He was genuinely amused. This was easily the funniest thing that had happened to him recently. And it was definitely going to be a story he was going to retell later on.
“So are children alien. You are like a child.”
“Thankyou.” You sneered up at him, still too embarrassed to meet his harsh gaze.
“Do you know where Tsa’hik is?” He tilted his head, his long braid falling over his shoulder as he peered down at you.
“I do not.” You tried to shovel down the shakiness in your voice, you could definitely cry right now.
“Of course, you don’t. Because you don’t belong here. I will take you to Tsa’hik. I would do it for a child.” He motioned for you to follow him as he rode off towards the base of the Hometree. “Hurry up alien child!” He laughed at his jokes as he pointed to you as he looked at other Na’vi also giggling at you as well.
What the fuck is your video log going to be today. ‘Got made fun of! Great find!’ This sucked! While Jake is learning the way of the people, you’re the people’s newest comedy act.
Dragging your feet to the Tsa’hiks room you were ushered to sit on a woven colourful mat in the middle of this section of the tree. Adorned in decorative items and many medicines and herbs you found yourself being stared down by Mo’at.
“She grazed her knee falling from a squatting height Tsa’hik.” Tsu’tey still managed to find a way to make fun of you even when he was talking to a superior.
Mo’at scoffed at you, mumbling something under her breath you did catch a few words. But they’re not necessarily for repeating. “How did you fall?” Mo’at’s intimidating voice caught you off-guard. You didn’t think she would speak to you directly.
“I- um. Tsu-. Tsu’tey startled me.” It was an insane struggled to get out, to admit you had a slightly serious graze because the man chuckling behind you scared you shitless.
“Ah.” She couldn’t find it in her to hide her disappointment apparently. Shaking her head, she applied a pungent medicine to your knee. Surprisingly, it didn’t sting the only sensation was that it was particularly cold for a paste that had been sitting in the open. “Maybe it is useful to do some stuff around the village. We do not welcome demons, especially not parasites.”
Parasite? That is what she thought of you. Oh, that’s just lovely. It felt like your stomach decided to go skydiving and take a miles high leap out of your body.
“Send her back. She is parasite, not needed.” Tsu’tey said this sentence in English. He needed you to understand it, it was his every intention to. It hurt for some reason. Well not some reason he had said something incredibly hurtful. But it was so deserved, so justifiable. Didn’t mean it wasn’t incredibly upsetting to hear.
“We cannot. Jake is an odd dreamwalker. A new demon. She must stay as he does, it is Eywa’s will.” He was silenced at the mention of Eywa. No one would question her intentions not even yourself. “She must learn. You will teach.”
“What?!” Tsu’tey voice boomed out echoing throughout the hollow tree. Is this how Jake felt that night? Because the taste of bile was growing in your throat as you stared at the huffing man. Nononono. He cannot teach, he’ll slit your throat the minute he has the chance.
“She will not be a hunter, no warrior. But she can learn the ways of the people. Teach her Tsu’tey do not question my decisions young one.”
“….yes Tsa’hik…”
Times like these you wished you could go back to your human form. So that your emotions wouldn’t be so easily understood with the swish of your tail and movement of your ears. Still sitting on the floor of the Tsa’hik’s area your ears were pressed against your head and tail swishing quite frequently.
“Go to the river to wash off the paste soon. It will stain your skin.” Mo’at told your before you were being harshly stared at by Tsu’tey. You were yet to understand the way Na’vi must telepathically communicate. It wasn’t even a millisecond after Mo’at finished that she had gave Tsu’tey the look to take you to the river.
You just wished you could understand those looks as well. “Come now. We walk.” He was so assertive it was frightening, the way he commanded you with a single order, you were so respectful of his place in the clan. It did make him like you slightly more than Jake.
“Do not kill her.” Mo’at said harshly to the tall man as you felt that bile rise to your throat again. Kill. What a word!
“I did not plan on it.” Tsu’tey smirked as he wandered off expecting you to follow but you didn’t. You just stared at Mo’at for reassurance. A simple nod to say ‘Yes! Big scary man won’t murder you!’ and she must’ve sensed your desperation.
Mo’at gave a curt nod and ushered for you to go with him with a flick of her hand. With the reassurance of the Tsa’hik you walked with Tsu’tey. Well, behind Tsu’tey to the river.
Every step was awkward. The past on your knee was starting to dry and made cracking noises every time you bent your knee. The crunch of the leaves under both of your heavy feet were the only conversation between the two of you. Eventually, after the short walk. Though it felt long due to the silence. Was finished at the sound of the flourishing waterfall meeting your ears.
It was so powerful, yet so beautiful. It reminded you of something. But nothing was coming to mind so you decided to just focus on the rushing sound as you ended your journey.
“Well done demon. You made it.” His deep voice rumbled in his chest, he thought he was hilarious.
“Thankyou.” You knew it wasn’t a compliment from him, but what else were you to say. Jake would of found a better comeback but you couldn’t.
“You are funny demon.” He said it so nonchalantly but to you it felt as if your heart bursts into a million butterflies. A compliment from a Na’vi felt so special, you felt slightly appreciated. And for it to be from Tsu’tey made it 100 times more meaningful considering how much distaste he has for you and Jake.
“Thankyou Tsu’tey.” Your genuine smile was one he had not seen yet. It was a new expression. Obviously, it looked familiar as it was on the body of a Na’vi but there was something so bright about your smile he couldn’t shake off. It was just something weird he assumed. Demons do weird things especially when they’re in bodies they’re not meant to be in.
“The paste must come off. Or else your knee will be yellow for weeks.” You nodded and hopped into the water. It was about knee height, so you had to bend to move the water over your knee completely.
“Is there a specific way to get it off. It is a foreign medicine to me.”
“It’s foreign because you don’t belong here.” Tsu’tey was just so harsh with his words, they were said with so much power, yet he felt sincere. It was odd. So odd. “Give me your leg.”
“What do you mean? HEY!” Tsu’tey had grabbed your injured leg yanking it into his arms making you twist and fumble trying not to go headfirst into the water.
His long fingers wrapped around your shin as he used his other hand to cup water into his hand and covering the yellow paste. Every time you fumbled trying to balance he let a ‘tsk’ leave his mouth. His fingertips felt as if they were being burnt into your skin as he gripped your leg tightly.
“Stop moving. I am getting the paste off.” He looked harshly into your eyes, his golden iris’ staring straight into your own.
“I’m trying!” it was an exacerbated statement. Tsu’tey saw the way your ears flicked down and you tensed all the muscles in your abdomen to try and stay still.
He felt a pound of his heart call out to him to not be so harsh. But why? You were nothing but a demon. A complacent one, but still a demon. You were better than Jake in his books. You listened stayed out of trouble, didn’t hang out with his future mate. But you were so odd. Nothing like any of the other demons. You were too complacent, too shy, too fearful. It was odd. Maybe that’s why his heart pounded.
With a final scrub the paste was gone and he let you leg down gently, an abrupt change to the quick and harsh picking up of your leg before. “Thankyou Tsu’tey.” He simply hummed in reply giving you a curt nod. This wave of confidence had overcome you. It was like you felt dizzy with courage. “Tsu’tey.”
The way you said his voice was weird to him. It was pronounced so clearly as if it was the only word you had learnt to say in his language. “Yes?”
“I know that..uh never mind.” The confidence vanished as soon as he stared into your eyes once again. His whole body facing towards you, his mind and soul focused on the words coming out of your mouth. It was too intimidating especially now as he waited for you to say more.
“Speak. What do you know?” His deep voice was memorizing, the way his chest rose proudly every word he spoke. He was so intriguing.
“I know that you don’t like me… and that I do not belong here. But I would like to help, I don’t want to be a p-parasite.” The word parasite stung on your tongue, and it was obvious how Tsu’tey winced at the word as well.
Truthfully, he regretted saying it so clearly to you. He only regretted when he saw the way your tail swished and the shine in your eyes. Maybe that’s why he felt crazy. Maybe that’s why he felt kind towards you. Maybe that’s why he agreed so fast.
“Only because you are smart, not stupid like Jakesully. I will teach you demon.” He reached out to grip onto your shoulder. It was a moment you don’t think you’d ever forget. The way his fingers held tightly onto you, his eyes looked so sincere and the usual scowl on his face had disappeared and turned in a stern look on promise.
This was the look of friendship, of teaching, you were about to learn the way of the people.

"You cannot ask this of us! Tommy is the scientist not us. He wanted to be shot light years into space, not us. We cannot do it." I shrieked, pleading with my brother for validation, but my cries were met with oppressive silence. His gaze fixed onto our fallen sibling, Tommy, robbed of life right before he went off to do the only thing that put a smile to his face. All sacrificed for the contents of his wallet.
"Your brother represented a significant investment, we'd urge you to accept taking over his contract." The man besides Jake had said, completely disregarding all that I had said. "I'm sure he would hate to have all his hard work go to waste, knowing someone so close to him would be able to continue his legacy." The second man, besides me, added with a curt nod.
Outrage boils within me at the audacity of these men, exploiting the loss of one of us, former triplets, as leverage against us. How dare they use Jake and I with their clear motives of greed, revealing to us that our worth to them is nothing but a budget they refuse to abandon.
"It'll be a fresh start, on a new world. And the pays good, very good." they said staring at Jake and I. Before I could even say something in retaliation. Jake had spoken for the first time that night. "We'll do it." Disbelief swept over me as I locked eyes with him. How could he agree so easily? How could he not see that these men were just using us— he probably could, yet chose to turn a bind eye.
"Perfect, Y/n we will get your Avatar ready, they will mature on the trip there." the men said walking out, leaving me in there with Jake.
"How could you just accept like that Jake. You caved! Just like that? You know they are just playing us, and you still went along with it! Don't you see–" I started, but he interrupted me. "Maybe you don't see it, but I do. We are dirt poor Y/n! Struggling... This cash could change everything. We could finally be able to live." he pleaded, desperate for understanding. "I could afford to use my legs again." he confessed.

While I was sitting there, next to my brother, a big whole blown right in the middle of our lives, I started having these dreams. Dreams that whispered secrets of possibility and untold wonders. Sooner or later though, you always have to wake up.
As I wake up, I glance around and it hits me, I'm in some sort of cryo pod. Flashbacks flood my mind, reminding me of the time before my life had got frozen, five years of my life, gone. The memories of Tommy's death, as if it was yesterday. 'We had to do it, so we could live." I think to myself, trying to find comfort in all of this.
"Rise and shine sleepy head." a doctor had greeted me as I exit the cryo pod I had spent the last five years of my life in. "We're here."
Tumblr media
"Exo-packs on! Let's go! Exo packs on! Remember people, you lose that mask, you're unconscious in 20 seconds, and dead in four minutes–" I stopped listening to what the sergeant had to say. Looking around my eyes landing on Jake. We should not be here, this is not our home. But what's the point in dwelling now, there's no turning back. I think to myself while putting on my exo pack, adjusting it so oxygen could freely flow through.
"When that ramp comes down, go directly into the base. Do not stop! Go straight inside wait for my mark!" the sergeant yelled. Standing up I walk over to Jake who was still seated waiting for everyone in front of him to leave the air craft so that he was able to freely able to deploy his wheelchair.
"Let's go special case! Do not make me wait for you Sully's!" he barks. Not bothering to acknowledge him Jake and I walk off the ramp and onto Pandora, our "fresh start." Taking a long look around I spot soldiers, back on earth these guys were heroes, marines fighting for freedom. But out here they were all just a bunch of hired guns, serving the RDA until their last breath.
"You're not in Kansas anymore, you're on Pandora ladies and gentlemen–" the man, Quartrich, continued. Tommy was meant to be listening to this, not Jake and I.
"Excuse me. Excuse me. Jake!" a lanky man rushes up to us after the "safety brief." "You're Jake right? Tom's brother." he asked looking down at him to meet his eyes. I just stare at him, does he just not see me here?
"You look just like him." he says eyes finally landing on me. "Sorry– I forgot he had mentioned he had two siblings, Y/n. I'm Norm. Spellman. Went through Avatar training with him." he says leading us into some sort of bio-lab.
As Norm continues briefing us on the bio-lab procedures, my attention drifts, drawn to avatars in three separate cry-chambers. I approach them, circling until I stop at a particular one.
"Looks like him." Jake and I simultaneously say, not once taking our eyes off what our brother could have been.
"No, looks like you. This is your avatar now Jake." Norm reassures him placing a hand on Jakes shoulder before moving to the last tube in the bio-lab.
"And this is your avatar Y/n. She had to get to the lab as soon as possible, since you know–" Norm starts, but I cut in, "–I wasn't meant to be here. Yeah, I'm aware." I finish, stepping closer to my avatar.
She looks so much like me, except for the obvious differences. Blue skin, a queue, and her sheer size. "She's beautiful." I whisper, touching the glass, feeling a soft heartbeat pass between us.
"The idea is that every driver is matched to their own Avatar, so their nervous systems are in tune... Or something. That's why they offered us the gig. It's insanely expensive... Is this right? Do we just say whatever to the video log?" Jake questions turning to Norm and Max.
"And do we have to share the exact same camera to film these things?" I interject, trying to nudge Jake out of the screens view.
"Yeah, you both need to document everything you see, what you feel. Plus, you're twins, who knows if you both are able to feel the same emotions or not. It's all apart of the science." Norm explains, retuning to his work.
"Plus it'll keep you sane for the next six years," Norm adds chuckling.
"Not if I have to sit next to Mr. Jarhead it's not." I remark, rolling my eyes but smiling slightly.
"Look who's talking Miss. 'I might not be a marine, but I sure can beat your ass,' " Jake adds, playfully pushing me.
This was one the first times I had smiled since arriving to Pandora. Usually keeping a stoic face, only smiling around my brother. My only family, the only thing from my past life.
Entering the link room behind Norm and Max, we're greeted by a voice. "Who's got my goddamn cigarette?" a redheaded woman demands, emerging from one of the link pods.
"Grace Augustine is a legend. She's the head of the Avatar Program. She wrote the book, I mean literally write the book on Pandora botany." Norm gushes. "Well that's because she likes plants more than people." Max adds teasingly.
"Well, there she is, Cinderella back from the ball. Grace, I'd like you to meet Norm Spellman, and Jake and Y/n Sully." Max says pointing at each of us in turn.
"Norm, I've heard good things about you. How's your Na'vi?" she asks, completely ignoring my brother and me, then begins to speak in a language I can only assume is Na'vi.
"Uh- Grace, this is Jake and Y/n Sully," Max interjects, trying to redirect her attention.
"Yeah, yeah. I know who you are, and I don't need you. I need your brother. You know. the PhD who trained for years for this mission? Yeah him." she snaps.
"He's dead. We know it's a big inconvenience for everyone, including me." I reply bluntly. There's no need to sugar coat anything that's already happened.
"How much lab training have you had?" she asks, looking between Jake and I.
"We dissected a frog once." Jake simply states.
"You see? I mean, they're just pissing on us without even the courtesy of calling it rain. I mean hell, the girl isn't even supposed to be here! I'm going to Selfridge, this is such bullshit." she rants, storming off but not before putting out her cigar.
"Well she's kind." I remark dryly.
As Jake and I arrive precisely at the time Max had instructed us to the day before, 0800, Jake and I hasten to catch up with Grace and Norm, who are already stationed at the link pods.
"You're late Sully's. You're in there, you're here." Grace remarks, gesturing towards two pods for Jake and I, and we obediently follow her directions.
"How much have you both logged?" she inquires, turning to the screen besides Jakes link pod.
"Zip, but I read a manual." Jake replies with a nonchalant shrug, as he wheels over to his pod.
"I listened to him read it out loud, if that counts." I confess making my way to my own pod.
"Tell me you're joking." Grace says incredulously, as she abandons her work on Jakes screen to approach mine.
"So you just decided to venture out here, to the most hostile environment known to man with no training whatsoever and see how it went? What was going on through your head?" she questions, setting up both mine and Jakes link screens for launch.
"Maybe I was tired of doctors telling what I couldn't do." Jake retorts, lying down in this link pod. I look at him wondering if that is why he spared no chance in me saying anything back when those men asked us to take the place of Tommy, because he was tired of the life he had.
"Keep you arms in, heads down." Grace instructs, pushing me into my link bed before I had the chance to ask Jake what he had truly meant.
"Just relax and let your mind go blank." are the last words I hear Grace utter before she seals my link pod.
Off to the side, Max examines scans of Jake and my brain. Studying the intently, he remarks. "Jakes brain is gorgeous, with nice activity. However we're detecting some resistance in Y/n's brain. She's unconsciously pushing back against the transfer, if this continues it could potentially harm the link." he informs, turning to Grace for guidance.
"Once the link is established, it cannot be interrupted. It will only worsen the issue," Grace states matter-of-factly, keeping an eye on my Avatar. Stubborn and resistant to change- that's Grace's initial assessment of Y/n, even after less than 48 hrs of meeting her.
Tumblr media
As my eyes flutter open, I'm greeted by a blinding light that pierces my eyes. A sharp ache throbs in my head, intensifying until two figures materialize before me- doctors, no doubt.
"She's awake. Y/n, can you hear me? Are you feeling alright?" the female doctor inquires, checking my expression for any sign of discomfort.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I reply, opting not to mention the pounding headache. Slowly, I sit up, only to find my hands adorned with five blue fingers.
"I made it." I murmur to myself in disbelief. Glancing around, I notice Jake already on his feet, a grin stretching across his face. He's standing, a sight I never thought I'd witness again, his legs finally functioning.
"Y/n you've got to see this. When's the last time you saw your brother standing tall, huh?" he exclaims, turning to face me while his tail knocks over everything in it's path.
Finally on my feet, I chuckle, "Bro, we're giants." The realisation hits me as I gaze at Jake and then towards the exit to find that he was already smiling at me– we're thinking the same thing. Tri– Twin telepathy perhaps?
Without a word Jake and I bolt, dodging Avatars engaged in a game of basketball, evading Norm and the two doctors running after us. We hurdle obstacles until a humanoid robot comes into view.
"Sorry! we both exclaim breathlessly, narrowly avoiding a collision as we skid to a stop near some flora. Catching our breath, we're approached by an avatar bearing striking resemblance to Grace.
"Hey, Sully's!" she calls out, closing in on us.
"Grace?" Jake questions, eyeing her up and down.
"Who else were you expecting numbnuts?" she retorts with a grin, with me laughing at the nickname Grace gave him.
As Jake and Grace catch up, I slip away into the area where Avatars are housed, searching for a change of attire. Opting for a top similar to Graces but in a deep shade of blue, that are about a shade darker than my current skin tone, pairing it with green cargo shorts. Hoping to blend in slightly to the flora and fauna of the forest.
Gazing up at the darkening sky, I realize it's nearly nightfall, meaning I had to delink for the night. "Alright, everyone, settle down! Lights out." Grace commands, ushering the remaining humans away.
"See you at dinner kiddos," she adds, flicking the lights off.
Lying back, I can still feel the remnants of the headache, but I decided to let sleep wash it away. Closing my eyes, I drift off into a peaceful slumber.

Right when it occurred, something did not feel right. There is an odd sensation stirring in the hollow of her stomach. It could not be the adrenaline that had taken its course within her body for she had anticipated it, nor could it be the minor, barely visible cuts created by the Sky Demons’ graze of foolish weaponry for while it burned only the slightest bit, it wasn’t extreme enough to draw pools of blood.
Grunts of an odd, internal wound left her yet she, with all her restraint, refused to acknowledge it right then and there and gently patted the side of her ikran for she too felt it, she too felt the distress, the slight yet sudden tear of something, of someone apart from her sole rider. Golden eyes waste no second in searching, mind voicing for her ikran to halt the strong, frenzied flaps of her wings.
She shuts out the sounds of the Sky demon’s flying equipment, the war cries the Na’vi created, and waits. Waits and observes, observes and listens, straining every one of her senses; frantic became her gaze as the feeling within her spiraled, harsh and swishing became Pandora’s winds as it surged through her limbs, aching swirled her heartbeat, lips whispering faint murmurs, longing for the presence, the call of him.
A pair of ears, belonging to the woman who had bound her life to him under the will of Eywa, hitched high and flickered at the agonized screech which sharply pierced through the air, coming from a specific aircraft until it soon began its descent down to Pandora’s ground. She wasted no second in trying to comprehend where, who the cry derived from, and the ears once chirped high faltered for a brief second as she picked it apart while panic, fear, the scorching pain corporeally and spiritually exceeded throughout her as she did.
Wretched. Agonizing. Appalling.
The cry which ripples from deep within Tsu'tey's lungs, clawing through the inward flesh until it reached the base of his throat and had been unleashed, is to be described as those precise words.
“Tsu’tey!”
Actions transpire before thoughts could be formed, her high chirp commanding her ikran to acutely glide down, right towards where the prolonged blue frame plummets down, the harsh ruffles of the branches due to her reckless speed being disregarded despite the gnashes they sliced across her striped flesh.
The churn spasms furthermore from the core of her being; burning, afflicting, and it is when she reaches him, the one bound to be her mate soon, her Tsu’tey lying on the grassed ground, that she is met with the dejected notion weighing upon her.
Despite the physical agony he is currently experiencing, he feels her — his serenity, the compliment to his being, the support and sustainment to his unbalanced character — close by. A palm clasps below his chest piece just to cover, to perhaps hide from her that he is hurt. His innards burn, gnaw, coil with each breath he tries taking. He coughs and despite the burn of it, he calls out to her.
“Y-yawnetu.” ( loved one )
“Ma Tsu’tey –”
Yet she is already rushing to him, descending onto her knees right beside him. She did not know where to begin. Act nearly transpired before thought once more, until she catches the way he holds himself. The pain submerged from not just him but her with each hurried step she had taken, each ragged breath she had taken, and so when her hand reached to touch just over his wounded chest, it became vivid, blistering.
A violent racketting envelops him entirely at the feel, a grunt spewing from his lips and it instantly makes her touch retract from him, hissing more so in distress at the notion of her mate being injured at the hands of them. Not even them, but guided by their coward minds and dastard hearts with what they called a gun.
Her mouth parches, her throat tightening as she tries to speak through her anger and pain. “T-tsap’alute si ( I apologize ). You are hurt, w-we have to get you to–”
His head created the smallest head shakes only for him to wince rather visibly, reaching for her hand. “Stay. T-touch –”
Hesitantly, she did as he said though she notices his discomfort and instead goes to cradle the upper curve of his head, but there’s slight space between for with the bit of strength he carries he uses to keep his head up.
The pressure of her palm rumbles a sound from his chest and she notices how his jaw narrows, how his ear winces. “Hurts?”
“T’s n-nothing. Fine, I’m fine.” He breathes in before his long fingers loosely wrap around her forearm, and his browline tugs down at the dry blood latching, the gnashes littering her skin. He, even in this situation, firmly states rather than questions: “You are hurt. T-they hurt you – did they–”
“I am fine, tiyawn. I am fine – my fault. I was rushing to come to you –”
His sharp eyes blaze and upper lip curls over his teeth as he hisses. “Must be more c-careful! Demons could have…have killed you. M-must think now more than ever —”
“ I will – but I am fine, I promise.” She assures and with her other hand she cradles his jaw, feeling it condense before trying to get him to calm down for she sees how agitated he became.
“Syeha si ( breathe ), Tsu’tey. Tsyeha si.” He exhales then tries to inhale only for the passage of his throat to obstruct with a gush of something; iron tang distastefully becoming one with his taste buds, the sudden swarm of liquid causing a choke-like sound to form at the back of his throat. Fearful, she wastes no time in moving the current hand on his head to the upper backside of his neck to slightly elevate him despite his strained protest.
“I— fine. I am fine–”
Her other hand leaves Tsu’tey’s cheek and goes to the base of her throat, right over the beaded necklace crafted by his very hands, the very blood stained hands that tear from his wound and reach for hers to stop her from acting. “ You are not fine! You are wounded, for Eywa’s sake! We must call for help—”
She watches how Tsu’tey tries to resist crumbling his features when her fingers brush up his neck, halting just right below the start of his kuru. He watches in anguish as the irises within her golden hues dilate, nearly becoming one with the other. She feels it undone, the braid, and with it undone, it is unprotected yet for whatever cause would it be? He feels the ghost of her touch over its bareness lurk down, and he grunts loudly as he shifts to stop her. “Ma yawnetu, please–”
But now the simple act of doing so becomes toilsome and painful, provoking an excruciating groan out of him and she’s haste in halting him from creating any more movement. “Ftang (stop).”
Tsu’tey is apprehensive, forming the weakest scowl as she gives him a pointed look. Perhaps it was because Tsu’tey was in her presence – the woman who succeeded to take his stoic mask off, to soothe the scowl constantly twisting his face. It was then that she found herself seeing him better then he saw himself – who he truly was, is, and bound to become. To her it was a must to be by his side, and to him it was an odd yet yearning-to-the-bone necessity to have her with him, to see her the way she sees him.
So with that, he releases a ragged breath but lets her and she resumes her act — not near enough to make contact with it, but near enough for him to feel it hovering. Enough for him to choke on a gasp and clutch onto her forearm when she reached the end which rested right by his side.
She too feels the sensation of it, of what he’s feeling in this second, of what he’s been feeling when he met the ground. She feels him, the one who's supposed to be her mate, experiencing the most indescribable pain there is for the Na’vi: the only true connection to the wonders within Pandora, to their Great Mother being torn off. To the one bound to be their mate for eternity.
The notion crashes down on her stronger, becoming sole with the ache stirring within. She says nothing for a long time and tries pushing through the muskiness enveloping her vision, wanting to take him in; colorants of yellow and ebony streaked boldly on the sides of his scalp, and she recalls being the one putting them there, she recalls how all the tension and worries seemed to have faded away from Tsu’tey when the lovely strokes of her paint-dipped fingertips specifically striped upon certain parts of his angular features as well, somewhat enhancing them and his azure tones – yet now the color scheme was assisted by blemishes and smudges of red, and the fierceness he once carried before this battle occurred vanished. This is an entirely different Tsu’tey that no other has ever witnessed, — and if it weren’t for one of the reasons being that he was too damaged, too hurt and strained, she would have smiled softly down at him and bathe him in all the love and happiness there was within her because of him — one even she hasn’t witnessed — the closest ever being was when Sylwanin passed.
“Let me take you to Tsahik. You are Olo’eyktan. I-important and must stay alive, let me call for help so we can take you back –”
“I am far too injured for Tsahik to fix this. There is a battle happening at this moment, woman. We cannot let this interfere. They all need to fight for our People. Our home.” he grunts , nose scrunching at the raise of his tone. “And a demon weapon striked me…sa’nok died from it. Even if we try, it will be too late—”
“Toruk Makto will know what to do.” she quickly interjects. “He was one of them, h-he will save us. Will save you, ma Tsu’tey. He will not leave the People without their Olo’eyktan. H-he —”
“Then he will be the one to lead the People.”
He can’t fight the subtle twitch of his lip at how her ears perch at this, and she frowns deeply, just like he expected her too. She didn’t dislike Jakesully while she was wary of him at the beginning. Yet he earned trust, a rightful place among the Omaticaya. Even so, that place was not, isn’t, what Tsu’tey is suggesting.
“But he…y-you are Olo’eyktan. Our guidance, our leader.” she takes in a sharp breath and blinks rapidly as he stares up at her. “You…you are to b-be my mate. And I yours, yes?”
Purple swelled beneath the ebony striped beneath Tsu’tey’s eyes, pronouncing the anguish and disappointment lodged within his pupils, weighing down upon him. His lower lip quivers when he grabs ruptured queue, and it takes everything in him to not yell.
He speaks through sputtered syllables. “I…I c-cannot ride again. Cannot be guided with the voice o-of Eywa. C-cannot lead the People and be strong Olo’eyktan because of this –”
The smallest whimper he made causes her to hold back her own, ears catching onto the way his breath hitched. He releases his hold on his queue and let’s it falls back to his chest in order to apply pressure to evict the constant drain of blood even though at this point it is inevitable. His other hand tries to grasp onto something, anything to sustain himself. She is quick to grab it, guiding it towards her, right above the part he painted over — fingers dipped in turquoise-colored paint at the beginning yet now taints with the boldness of crimson, the length of his fingers curling from the curve of her shoulder while his palm had pressed above the side of her chest right near her heartbeat, the closest thing he was to ever feeling.
He finds grounding, he finds the guidance of her heartbeat, of her touch but it isn’t nor will it ever be like how it’s supposed to. Inhaling through flared nostrils, as if preparing to say the words he wished so desperately to not be true, he utters the words that unfortunately confirmed her very thoughts:
“But overall…I-I will not be able to form tsaheylu with you, yawnetu. You will not have a true mate. A-and I will no be able to feel you…to truly have you under the will of our Great Mother.”
It was effortless to push away the wretched feeling ripping inside of her — but stubbornness is almost as if it is one with her. Something Tsu’tey both adored and despised at times – and in this case, he isn’t exactly certain which he feels right now.
A sob heaves from her chest, feeling so utterly pathetic when tears continue welling in her eyes. “K-kehe ( no ). You have always had me — no matter tsaheylu. You’ve felt, known and seen me, ma Tsu’tey. I feel, know and see you then and now. Please let me continue — let us go—”
“Oeru yawne ( my love )…” The expanse of his palm slides up to her neck, gently enveloping her drenched cheek and weakly frowns at how he’s grimming her beautiful face with his own blood. It is too much; the raw truth of it all, the rasped breath of his tender words, the quivers of his palm due to his pain, tears cascading from her eyes and coating her cheeks, him giving the mantle to someone else and accepting it, the sinking fact that the first and only thing she can and will ever solely, truly feel from Tsu’tey, the man who she’s chosen to be with for the rest of her life as he has chosen her with no hesitation, was him hurting, him processing it with the same pace as she is.
He says nothing for a second, simply letting himself scrutinize and adore her and gather his words. “It is worse to go through this life without purpose than to die. A-a feel without you, oeru yawne, has no purpose.”
“And a life without you has no purpose!” Her voice grows harsher, words broken. “Is that what you want to do to me, hm? Leave me with no purpose?”
“You will have the People—”
“It isn’t the same! A-and so will you if you choose to see the light of this—”
“Ma Y/N.” It isn’t firm, his tone when saying her name. But it is enough for her to stay quiet, ears flattening at the sides of her head.
“Me…just being me will not suffice for the People. And while I am more than happy to know that it is sufficient for you… it is not for me.” The octave of his voice is tremulous, barely audible to ears as he peers up at her. “Not when knowing I cannot satisfy those around me — it will not be enough from my part…for them. For you. Especially with everything you have given me.” He gives her one of his truest smiles despite the red that now streams out the corners, coughing afterwards.
The pad of her thumb swats the blood away, knowing what he was doing with his words. She badly wants to frown at him, to tell him it is not the time to be smiling but she can’t help the pure allure she has to his lovely expression. She can’t help herself from tilting her head and questioning, “What have I given to you?”
“Patience. Peace.” His eyes close a second as he sighs. “Even through grief, through loss and chaos, you chose me. It is as you say; you’ve felt and have known and seen me. While my mind was to be dutiful to the People…my heart was purposeful to you.”
Nuzzling into her touch, he breathes out, “and now I accept this — because I’m in the presence of you. It is…a bit more peaceful.”
“Y-you skxawng.” she chokes out for she doesn’t know what to say and instead lets her forehead shadow over his as he chuckles. But he feels it, feels what’s channeling from her mind, heart, soul, and it’s enough to bring him much more tranquil.
The bleeding from his chest does not stop, but at this point he doesn’t care anymore. Instead, he removes his hand from the spot and loosely curls around the hand that has not left its spot from his cheek. Fingers tenderly knead the flesh of her wrist while the other still cups her face, thumb stroking the apple of her cheek. Eyes taking her in, the sensations she now only faintly ignites within him, and he groans lowly at how those blazing, loving emotions clash with the shock that is coming together. The reality, the acceptance of not being the one to guide the People, of not giving her the future she truly deserves, the acceptance of it all.
She doesn’t want to accept it however. Not now, not yet. So all she can do is nod, swallowing through the lump within her throat and let’s herself softly touch him; the fading specks across his nose, the beautiful markings of his forehead, the sharpness of his cheeks, the quiver of his lip as he inhales curtly, eyes closing for a solid moment. It is ridiculously unbearable now, pain pulsating in sharp waves through his body.
“Hurts?” She tries evading her gaze from the red spiraling down his blue skin, from his severed kuru. He shakes his head and lets his hold press a bit more against her. “No more…fine. I’m fine.” he gently coaxes his lie with a subtle twitch of his mouth, wanting to reprieve her from feeling any more anguish for him.
“That — that is good.” she returns his expression, professing her own belief in his words to spare him his strength in trying to console her. But how he slightly hears it in the way her breathing becomes frantic when his own starts to falter. The extent of his wounds are as he said; too great and severe for Tsahik to cure, and the heart's wrenching notion that he’s near his end slowly starts to seep past her obstinacy.
Faint cries of what seemed to be cheers chime through the sky, and he can’t resist the sigh of relief that emerges. “That is a good sign. Very good.”
She nods but doesn’t tear her attention from him. She watches how his bright orbs shift beneath his shut eyelids. When they come to view again, there is slight agitation. More ache accompanied by sorrow, all of it spreading from the core of his being. “Yawnetu.”
Her tail lashes in fret. “I am here, Tsu’tey — what is wrong?”
“C-call to them…it is almost time.” His words stammer violently, grasping much more onto her when he gasps. Her coils furiously shake across her shoulders, nose scrunching, lower lip trembling when she sobs. “not yet…n-no not yet. I cannot lose you! P-please—”
“My stubborn girl,” he grunts quietly when his red stained mouth manage to smile. “You will never lose me. I…I am more than certain we will see one another again. But now the People, Toruk Makto must know he is to lead them. And I need you to help me let him know.”
She desperately nestles her cheek against his hand for a moment, sniffles and nods before craning her neck forward and placing a light kiss over his forehead. “W-whatever you wish, tiyawn.”
She does what she is told while he listens, the voice of Jakesully being heard, wasting no second in confirming he is on his way with the others.
Feathered kisses are met with his temple now and across his forehead, his eyelids, his nose, his cheeks — but lastly his lips. Not caring for the blood tainting them, only for the sensation they soothe her soul with, she gives him one last broken kiss.
She focuses entirely on Tsu’tey, respite emerging deep from within his lungs while desperately trying to give him one of her breaths as if it’ll spare him, tender fingertips grasping his face in an anguish manner as he too tries meeting her halfway.
The hand on her cheek goes back to her shoulder, gently pulling her closer. Her thumbs brush down his cheeks, outlining the structure of his jawline. “I feel you. I see you, oeru Tsu’tey.”
The tip of his nose nudges her when his forehead finds its place over hers. “I feel you. I…I see you, oeru Y/N.”
Those are the words he finds himself mouthing to her one last time, the only pair of brilliant, loving tearful eyes that he sees, the last swarm of peace that wavers with Toruk Makto’s shadow as it envelops his dying body.

Tsu’tey looks over at the aftermath of the raid, some warriors were able to get out alive but some weren’t so lucky. He walks over to his ikran ready to mount him but he looks over to your empty ikran, his chest starts to tighten as he raises his hand to his neck and presses the button on his communication device.
“Yawne, where are you?” he speaks into the communication device. When you don’t answer, he presses the button again as if the first time, he was doing it wrong. “Tiyawn, can you hear me? Are you okay?” Still no answer.
He takes a deep breath trying not to think of the worst outcome. He rushes back onto the battlefield looking at all the bodies that were spread out across the ground. “Please be okay,” He repeats in his head as he searches for you. He doesn’t want to think that there was a possibility that you were gone, if he did then that would mean he would be truly alone in this world.
After losing Sylwanin, he didn’t think he would find love again but then there was you, a strong warrior that stole his attention, he tried not to act on those feelings but the time he spent training you, hanging out with you in his free time, seeing your angelic smile that always made his day better. By then he just knew he couldn’t ignore it any longer and courted you before any guy could snatch you up.
When you accepted his advances, he felt like he was the happiest man alive, he thought this to be his second chance at love and he wasn’t about to take it for granted. He starts to worry as he doesn’t seem to find you anywhere and tears start to form in his eyes as he begins to think of the thought that you might be dead. “She has to be okay… she just has to be,” he lets out a deep breath as his tail drooped sadly.
He clenches his fists as he fights the tears back, "I just got you in my life, I can’t lose you, great mother, please… I beg of you…" His ears perk up as he hears a distant cough and he looks around hoping for it to come from you.
He starts to run toward the direction the cough came from and when he does he sees you trapped under a piece of metal, his eyes widen in fear and he immediately rushes over, easily picking up the scrap metal and throwing it to the side.
He examines your state, you had wounds that were placed on your stomach and arms but nothing too serious, he drops to his knees carefully taking you into his arms, and softly embraces you as he silently thanks Eywa causing a small groan to escape from your mouth.
“Oops, sorry tiyawn,” he adjusts you softly in his arms to make you more comfortable, he places his lips on your forehead giving it a kiss before looking at your beautiful eyes.
“Tsu’tey, I’m so glad to see you,” you slowly raise your hand to caress his cheek, and a small smile appears on your face, he takes your hand kisses the inside of your palm, and holds it tightly as if he let go, you’d disappear.
“You scared me, tiyawn,” the tears that he held back finally spilling down his face “I’m never letting you go again, Nga yawne lu oer,” he kisses your forehead again making you smile but wince when you make a slight move.
“Alright, let's get you back so you can get treated.” He carefully picks you up and carries you in bridal style as he slowly makes his way to his ikran, again thanking eywa for bringing you back to him.

Tsu’tey felt the blood rush to his ears as he made quick steps to the Tsahik’s tent, the sun was only just now rising, far too early to be called upon if it was anything good. With clumsy fingers he readjusted his loincloth though there was nothing to fix, only a nervous habit as he made haste.
He faltered for a few seconds when he reached Mo’at’s tent, nerves bubbling in his stomach as he tried to prepare for whatever business the Tsahik had with him. It was not uncommon for Tsu’tey to speak with Mo’at over issues of the clan, the Olo’eyktan and Tsahik often did so. But the rushed morning call that disturbed his slumber, and the low murmuring voice’s of Mo’at and Neytiri behind the tent had his stomach twisting with something akin to fear.
His fingers clenched into a tight fist before he released the tension, pushing apart the flap of the tent before dipping into the privacy of the Tsahik’s quarters.
His tail tensed as Mo’at and Neytiri stilled their conversation, looking at Tsu’tey with trepidation as if they had been caught doing something they shouldn’t.
There was a beat of silence before Tsu’tey regained his senses, “Oel Ngati Kamie.”
Neytiri sent him a warm smile before greeting him, Mo’at however, she had her usual look of aloofness, as if not wanting to give anything away. Tsu’tey was sure that was a skill she had to master during her years as Tsahik. Many people came to her with their questions and burdens, she had to learn to school her expressions.
“Sit, ‘itan.”
He nodded, sitting down across from Mo’at, his eyes jumping between the two women as he refrained from asking what was wrong. What was so important that they needed to speak with him so early? It all felt so secretive and he felt uneasy.
“Neytiri is with child.”
Tsu’tey’s head snapped towards the other warrior in the room, his ears flicking in curiosity before a smile cracked its way onto his face. “Aylrrtok ngaru, Neytiri! I am sure you and Jake Sully will be blessed with a strong child.”
Neytiri’s face lit up, she cared for Tsu’tey deeply and his excitement for her meant more than he knew, “Thank you, Tsu’tey.”
Neytiri’s gaze shifted towards Mo’at, and Tsu’tey followed her gaze, a small frown making its way onto his face at the small flash of guilt that flashed through the older woman's gaze. He felt nauseous at the lapse of control from the Tsahik, but her eyes glazed over to one of calmness before she turned to look at Tsu’tey.
“I have been thinking that it is time you find a mate, Tsu’tey.”
His mouth went dry, his forehead creasing in confusion as his heart thrummed harder. Mo’at took the Olo’eyktan’s silence as liberty to keep speaking. “The clan needs to know that it is time to move forward. The people need to know we are prospering after a time of sorrow.”
Neytiri was watching Tsu’tey closely but he gave nothing away, only nodding softly as he listened to Mo’at, “We called upon you this early for discretion. If people begin to find out you are looking for a mate, they will swarm on you like viperwolves stalking their prey.”
Tsu’tey’s tail swished nervously at the thought, trying to wrap his mind around the idea of sharing his life with someone.
Neytiri cleared her throat, “But Tsahik and I were thinking it would be beneficial to the people if you mate with someone from a different clan.”
Tsu’tey blinked at her for a few seconds before he cleared his throat, “Someone who is not Omatikaya? That is unheard of.”
If Tsu’tey was nervous about mating with a woman from the clan, this made his heart feel like it was going to rip out of his chest now. “The Kekunan clan showed great bravery during the war. They were the first clan to arrive when Jake called upon them.”
It was clear to Tsu’tey that both women had made up their mind, they encouraged the idea and it was only confirmed when Mo’at reached out to pat Tsu’tey’s arm to try and comfort him. “The Olo’eyktan and Tsahik have a daughter, she is their third born and has been Tsakarem for many years. From what I have heard she is quite gifted at it too, she is also a warrior, she would be a great Tsahik for the Omatikaya ”
Neytiri nodded in agreement with her mother, “She fought alongside us during the war, she protected me and she's shown great strength. The union will also give us protection if we were ever to need it again.”
Tsu’tey was used to his people looking to him for guidance, but Mo’at and Neytiri looking at him with hope struck a chord he couldn't place. These were two of the women he most looked up to, silently begging him to agree with their eyes.
He sighed quietly, nodding gently before his ears pinned to his head, “If she agrees, I will do it.”
Mo’at let out a quiet breath, it was as if she was holding it in while she waited for his answer. Neytiri did not contain her excitement, her tail thrashing harshly behind her, “Mother and I will arrange everything, we will fly out and pitch our case.”
Tsu’tey only nodded, unable to find his words as his mind raced wildly. It was not until Neytiri placed her hand on his arm that he was pulled from his turmoil, “She is very kind, you will grow to love her.”
Tsu’tey’s gaze flicked to where Mo’at was sitting, but it was now empty. He felt confident enough to speak his feelings to his closest friend, “I don’t know if I can Neytiri.”
She frowned, her mouth opening to speak but Tsu’tey suddenly felt overwhelmed. His chest tightening as he stood up quickly, not even bidding her goodbye before he walked out.
ೄྀ࿐ ˊˎ-
Your heart was pounding roughly in your chest as visions continued to appear in your mind, it felt like you were being swallowed and spit out during different memories that deeply scarred you. Fading away like mist before you were able to do anything about it. Your body was not your own, going through the motions that seared your brain with fear.
You were gliding forward while your Ikran dove head first towards the forest grounds, and your mind was completely blank but you knew what was happening. Before your eyes adjusted to your eldest brother falling freely as bullets tainted his body, leaving wounds in their wake, you felt fear consume you. It consumed you each night as you were forced to relive these nightmares each time your eyes closed and it never got easier. Your vision cleared and you were met with his Ikran screeching in pain before their Tsaheylu broke and your brother tumbled down.
You were so close, his body within a few inches of Evu’s claws to break his impact on the floor, just as you were going to catch him you were being ripped away. Appearing in a memory from the same horrible day, just hours later.
A scream threatened to rip from your throat but got stuck before Neytiri’s piercing cry hit your ears.Your head was hot and heavy, a thick liquid pouring from your skull as you stumbled towards her voice. She was cradling someone, along with the Toruk Makto but their face was shielded from your view. Your vision was spotty before your body hit the floor.
Your eyes flutter open as you take a deep breath of air, gasping as your ears ring so loudly it feels painful. Your heart was racing so fast it felt as though it was going to be ripped from your chest.
It takes minutes for you to register that you are in the safety of your cot, away from the war. Your eyes well with hot tears before they stain your face and down to your ears. You cursed yourself quietly as you wept, you were the Tsakarem, you were a warrior, you were not meant to be weak. These terrors were not meant to plague you still, but a broken sob fell from your mouth as you recalled all the lost members of the Kekunan, your people ripped away from their family by metal machines and greedy humans, your eldest brother included.
It had been months, but the horrors of war plagued your mind, lurking behind every wall and shadow, threatening to consume you whole. The sun barely rising peaked through the flaps of your cot, blinding you for a few seconds as you laid there trying to regain your emotions.
You wipe your eyes as you push yourself to sit up, head pounding roughly before you stand.
Numbness coated your insides as you prepared to start your day. There was a lot of nothing going around the clan of Kekunan, families still learning to adjust to life without their loved ones and now that everyone was healed by your hands, and the hands of your mother, and the many healers in your clan, there was not much to do.
Once you made it outside of your cot you felt warmness bloom in your stomach, nudging you in the direction of your Ikran. Evu was a deep forest green, the tips of her wings were a soft shade of blue, and her wingspan larger than most. She was gentle, sweet and protective whenever you were around her and you felt her call to you.
The memory of not catching your brother on time had forced you to neglect time with Evu, feeling guilty anytime you looked at her, anytime you felt the welcoming breeze through your hair and on your skin, but you missed her.
With quick steps you made it to her, her head cocked to the side in silent question before she started happily chirping. In almost clumsy steps she made her way to you, nuzzling her face into yours as she continued to clack loudly. The ache that had settled into your chest seemed to melt away as you patted her softly, grabbing your kuru before connecting it with her.
You felt her excitement as you mounted her, your hearts thrumming as one as the two of you took off. This was the first time in weeks that you felt the wind kiss your skin and flow through your hair, your eyes watering slightly as you finally felt at ease. Your mind only focused on flying, the feeling of freedom consuming you.
It was clear that Evu was feeling just as cheerful as she soared freely, performing beautifully as she twirled in the air, showing off her skill. It dawned on you that she was trying to prove herself to you, to prove to you that she was worthy of riding and it caused your heart to soar. She thought she had done something wrong. Your hands gently soothed her as you patted her neck, praising her softly as the two of you flew above the jungle of Pandora.
You spent hours flying, only returning when the ache of your legs became too difficult to ignore. Your legs wobbled when your feet touched the ground, showering Evu with last bits of affection before walking to your parents' cot.
There was excitement consuming your people, it was palpable as they whispered to each other, pointing and smiling towards your parents cot. Before you could think too much about it, one of the village children ran up to you, calling out your name happily.
You smiled down at her, “Mawey, It’ey.”
She smiled shyly as she tried to catch her breath, but the twitch of her ears showed her excitement, “The Tsahik of the Omatikaya is here! She is asking for you!”
You felt like the blood drained from your face, nerves bubbling up your throat as you tried to think of what business the Tsahik could have with you. “Are you sure, It’ey?”
The young girl nodded, not catching onto the way your hands began to tremble slightly.
“Yes! She brought her daughter as well.”
You sent her a soft smile, patting her hair gently, “Thank you.”
It took a few seconds before you were able to continue on your track to your parents home. Memories rushed to the forefront of your mind as you recalled the last time they were here, and the outcome.
You did not regret the decision to fight with them, but it left you with so many internal scars that you have not been able to heal, you feared what they needed you for.
When you pushed the flap open you were met with 6 pairs of eyes glowing at you. You directed your gaze towards the guest first, “Mo’at, Neytiri, oel ngatie kameie.”
The older woman sent you a soft smile and just as you were about to turn to your parents, Neytiri caught your wrist and stilled your movements.
“It’s great to see you again, I wish I would have had more time to speak with you after everything happened, after the battle but-you look to be doing well. I hope you can find time for us to speak, show me around the Kekunan jungle.”
Your body tensed at the mention of the war, and if she noticed she did not comment on it. You only sent her a tight lipped smile before pulling away from her, greeting your parents and your two brothers. The air was tense in the cot, everyone staring at you with mixed emotions and you felt your throat tighten. “I was told by one of the children that I was being looked for.”
“Ah yes, come here ‘ite.”
You did as told, sitting down besides your mother, she began to soothe your hair, something she always did to try and comfort you and your siblings before giving you big news.
“The Tsahik and her daughter have traveled all the way over here for you.”
Your ears twitched softly, dread consuming you and you turned to look at the two women, “They have come to ask for your hand, for the Olo’eyktan.”

Chapter 2: Reconnection with Ommaticaya
-;
He looked at her through the foliage of her mind, the edges were dull and a haze possessed what clarity was known to her, and through that darkness eyes stared back at her. Wide, green eyes, slanted upward- as were the rest of his features. Angular and daring in all the ways a predator would be, she felt her heart shudder for it was not a predator’s gaze that looked towards her- but a friend’s. The look of a friend betrayed and forsaken into the hollow parts of the world, where the firefly lights and moon beams could not reach, a darkness settled- then a hiss and a sneer and a warmth was snatched from her as bullets pounded through the air once again.
Diana awoke with a gasp; sweat clung to her body the way she clung to her chest with a tattooed hand, desperate and scavenging, searching for a lost thing that had run away. She was used to dreams- she had had to get used to the dreams; though like a guest that had overstayed its welcome she lingered at the door of her mind, waiting, praying that this pain- this haunting would leave with a smile and never return to her again. But still it sat, still it festered and waited for her to leave the archway of the front door, still it waited for her to close that door and let it make home in her.
It was the first time in months Diana had dreamt of those betrayed eyes that stared down at her, the first time in months she found it hard to swallow for the lump in her throat had grown too heavy and thick to push down. And when it finally fell from her throat to her stomach she wished it had just stayed there, because that descent reminded her of the emptiness that had made home in her bones- the very marrow of it seeming to leak out from her, as if the essence of herself was betraying her. She knew, deep down she knew, that she wasn’t responsible for what had happened at that school, she knew also that she could not have done anything else-except make things worse-by going back to them after the shooting like Grace had tried to do.
But a regret festered in her heart as was the oh so inherent nature of humans, and it was in those many moments of regret when she held herself up in her room for days, neither speaking or hearing of another human or creature, that the festering of that regret thrived. It was the third week since Jake had reintroduced humans, in Na’vi form, to Hometree once again, and the first month of his three month expiration date. Diana wondered if that countdown ran through his mind at all as he leaped and bounded from the long roots of Hometree or rode on the back of the pa’li in the fields. She wondered what went through his mind at all because, she hoped, he could give her some clarity as well.
“It’s been four days,” A knock sounded on the door to her room, and Diana turned her head from the scrunched up blankets she had buried it in to see Grace standing in the archway, “It’s two in the afternoon,” the older woman reminded her gently, “Are you joining us today?”
Diana shut her eyes as she looked from the woman and buried her face into the blankets again, her head already being filled with the list of things she had to do due to putting it off for the past four days.
“I should,” She told Grace as she slowly sat up, keeping the thinner side of the blanket on top of her head to block out the blaring sight of the sun that cascaded through the open windows.
“It would help if you did something,” Grace agreed, “But not if you don’t feel up to it.”
“No, no,” Diana gave a deep, meaningful sigh as she put one heavy leg out of the bed after another, and then reached her hand out to Grace for help as she shut her eyes tightly and tried to combat the dizziness that was beginning to grow in her mind. In hindsight, shutting herself off from the only three people available to her for miles probably wasn’t the best idea she’d ever had. But she’d rather endure the hours of silence, in company with the machine hums, than face the headstrong irritability that would rear its ugly head when she would do, well, anything.
“What’s Jake been up to?” Diana heard herself ask as she settled at their small kitchen table and Grace warmed her up one of the refrigerated meals they had brought with them. Grace handed her a package wrapped in various layers of plastic and wrapping paper, the front and back both unlabelled with only a singular word on the side, QUINN.
“Linked in already,” Grace answered her question as she put both the package and meal down in front of her, but smacked her hands away when Diana first reached for the package, “Take a bite first. And drink this,” She placed a strong smelling liquid in front of Diana, to which the younger girl scrunched up her nose and stared in disgust. Grace only stared back, challenging the younger woman not to drink the protein shake.
“Damn woman,” Diana relented as she took a large gulp, “Looks deadly enough to make a palulukan run.” She muttered as she pushed the package to Grace, telling her to open it as she continued to eat her premade meal.
“It’s a note from Quaritch and… oh shit,” Grace threw out the contents of the table, spilling it in front of Diana to see. When she turned her head and rifled through the pictures she saw it was more of the same pictures she had seen earlier that week, writings and drawings of the same colour and texture she had seen from the two previous mining dumps, bolder and clearer than before. This time, however, in brilliant white sketched across one of the large walls of a basecamp, was her name.
Diana began choking on her food as she saw her name written, in perfect English, across the human settlement. She looked to Grace who was looking back at her with equal mortification, and then grabbed the note Quaritch had sent with it. There, scribbled in untidy handwriting in large bold letters were the words; fix this, or I will. Clear, concise and with no room for argument. Shit.
“Shit,” Grace voiced Diana’s own thoughts again, “Well that’s direct. If you didn’t think they were trying to get your attention before, we know it for sure now.” Grace massaged her left temple as she took a drag from her cigarette.
“You’ve got to get a handle on this, kid,” Grace suggested, “If it weren’t for you Quaritch might have already taken some of his damn ships and guns to the Tawkami Hometree already.”
“He won’t attack Tawkami, as selfish and egocentric as Selfridge is he won’t do more unnecessary damage, it’s the Omaticaya Hometree they want,” Diana rubbed the sides of her head, “But that’s not enough to stop him from attacking any of the clan members outside of Hometree and by the looks of it they’ve reached well outside of their territory already.”
“So what’s the plan?” Grace asked as she took another drag of her cigarette. Diana eyed the object between her friend’s fingers, having noticed their presence a lot more in the past few days than she had previously. The stress of integrating Jake into the Omaticaya clan and culture, on top of keeping Selfridge and Quaritch pleased wasn’t an easy task to do, she didn’t envy the doctor for her responsibilities as head of this programme; but she wasn’t going to let her shoulder the burdens alone either.
Diana patted Grace’s shoulder as she finished her food and told Norm to link her into her pod. It had been a week since her confrontation with Tsu’tey and her reintegration to the clan; it was finally time to get some real work done.
“And what are these?” Diana asked as she pointed to her ears resting higher on her head than where they rested on the human body. She looked between the concentrated faces of the young Na’vi children, each of them standing at 6ft tall and above at less than a decade and a half old. Diana hummed as she asked her question again, repeating the words slower so the children, who had not been practicing English for some time, could fully understand what it was she asking.
“A ear!” One of the children shouted loudly, proudly declaring their answer.
Diana laughed as she clapped her hands in celebration, praising the little girl for her correct answer, “Very good, very good Syanan!” Diana let out a breath as the girl giggled and ran into her, celebrating her victory over the dreaded English language as she whooped to her friends who, in turn, shouted back. “But,” Diana continued, which made the girl pause and stare down at her with the rest of the children, “It sounds funny, doesn’t it? Something is missing?” She hinted to the children and watched as they began thinking again.
Akwey, Syanan’s younger brother, raised his hand as he hollered for her attention, “I think your brother wants to help you, Syanan,” Diana goaded the girl gently as she helped her climb off her lap and rest again onto the ground with the other children, and then called on Akwey to answer.
“An!” He said proudly, puffing his chest as he gave the proper form of the words, “An ear!”
Diana found herself smiling brightly down at the boy, proud at how quickly he was catching on despite not having been allowed to attend the school like the other children. When Grace and Diana had opened the school a long ways away from Hometree, she remembers Syanan speaking of her youngest brother, and his passion of learning new and strange things, however he was never allowed to leave the safety of Hometree and was forbade by his parents. Diana found herself frowning at the memory, and remembered the cautious nature from many of the parents of the clan as they worried for the safety of their children due to arrival of humans. As she looked between their expectant faces, she wishes she could quell the worry of the older Na’vi, but that was not something she could promise.
“Is it… wrong?” Akwey’s question broke her from the depressive thought process she had somehow managed to spiral herself into and quickly shook her head as she told the boy he was correct and congratulated him as well. He responded to her with a large, gap-toothed smile. The young Na’vi boy hadn’t even grown into his canines yet, and Diana’s heart fluttered as he smiled up at her with those large eyes the Na’vi possessed and then began explaining the rule of definite and indefinite articles. Her attention was caught not a moment after she had finished by Jake, as he hollered for her while being pestered by another group of rowdy, older children. Diana nearly gasped as one of them pulled on his tail and nearly made him trip on himself, she tried to hide her laugh behind her hand as she stared at him, but he had already seen it.
“Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want you blue woman- these buggers haven’t left me alone since Neytiri went off somewhere and I can’t shake them!” He turned to her as he bent his head and his ears lowered, pleading with her, “I beg of you Diana, make them go away.” She pushed Jake away from her by his face, telling him to not get so close with that stupid look on.
“They’re just curious about you.” She told him as she waved in greeting to Grace’s half of the class, wondering where the other woman was and why she wasn’t taking better care of her kids. A small part of her wondered if she had intentionally stuck the children on Jake in revenge for him eating her food the previous night.
“About what?” Jake asked exasperated, “I’m about as blue as them aren’t I?”
Diana gasped as she hit Jake on the head, shocked at his somewhat rude remark, “They’re curious about you, you idiot, because you’re wearing the same clothes as them.” She motioned to the singular loin cloth he was wearing, then to them as they wore the same. At the tilt of Jake’s head in confusion, she rolled her eyes and explained, “In Na’vi culture clothes are less about coverage and more about status. The higher ranking you are the more clothes and accessories you adorn, your clothes tell your story, so-“
“So they’re following me because I’m a grown ass man dressed like a baby.” Jake finished as his shoulders slumped.
“Ass man!” Diana and Jake both gave each other wide-eyed stares as they looked from each other to Akwey, who had been listening in on their conversation unlike the rest of the children and smiled his broken smile at them.
“Akwey, don’t say ass!” Diana reprimanded him on the improper use of the curse word, gently telling him it wasn’t a word children should use. When he gave her a nonchalant shrug and rolled his eyes, much like the way she did with Jake, he left a gaping mouthed Diana and a laughing Jake alone as he went and played with the other kids.
“Takes after you, that one.” Jake snidely told Diana as he pushed her lower jaw up to help her close her mouth. She surreptitiously gave him the middle finger. Diana glared at his smirking face before both of their attention was caught by the thundering of hooves, and when they turned their head to the side they took note of Neytiri riding up to them on her pa’li, another one in hand attached to a leash. All of a sudden Diana burst into a snicker as she greeted Neytiri, then clapped Jake on the back hard once before muttering to him as she stared at the rider-less pa’li.
“And that one’s for you,” She laughed as he sneered at her with his fangs on display, and saluted him when Neytiri yelled at him to follow her. Making tsaheylu for the first time on the back of a pa’li was something she didn’t need to re-experiencing; wincing as she remembered the bruises she had gotten after multiple falls from the large horse-like creature. Tsu’tey hadn’t had the slightest sympathies for her as he had barked at her to continuously get back on and stop acting like a child. She found herself smiling fondly at the memory despite the pain that it had brought at the time and, as though he appears whenever thought about, made eye contact with the male in question as he looked up from his companion.
Diana tilted her head as she watched Tsu’tey speak with Mo’at at the base of the tree and began slowly walking up to the two high ranking clan members. But Tsu’tey, who was watching her as he continued to speak with Mo’at, noticed her coming and bowed his head to the Tsahik before dismissing himself just as the woman arrived. Her shoulders slumped when he didn’t so much as regard her approach and left the two of them alone.
“Oel ngati kameie, Tsahik,” Diana greeted the older woman with a slight bow of her head and the touch to her forehead. When she raised her gaze again, Diana noticed the woman stared at the place Tsu’tey had been and followed his trail as he left, then downward toward the woman who greeted her with a soft smile.
“He is not yet forgiven you,” The Tsahik spoke, stating the fact Diana was all too well aware of, “But he will, it has been foretold.” The spiritual leader rested her hand on Diana’s shoulder, gently trying to reassure the woman as she guided her towards the stairs hollowed out from the tree’s base.
“I don’t suppose it’s been foretold when exactly that will be?” Diana tried cheekily, trying to gouge a response from the woman that was lighter hearted before she tried to brave the questions that have been hanging over her since that morning. The woman only smiled and patted her on the shoulder, never giving her a reply as they walked around Hometree until they reached the very top of the large, ancient tree, giving them both a wide view of the area around them. From here Diana could see the pa’li grazing in the fields, the warriors training near the dummies as they practiced their archery and close combat skills but most of all, she saw Pandora as it stretched before her wide and clear.
She heard the ikran whistle and screech below them as they played and wrestled amongst each other. The older ones sat higher in the trees where the two women were now standing, not wanting to bother themselves with the worries of the youth and Diana watched as Mo’at walked closer to the thinning of the large branch they stood on and inspected one of the branches of the tree.
Diana lifted her head and stared up at the sky, the purple lightened sky that seemed to stare back at her, and watched as the brilliant and iridescent hues of Pandora’s planet stared back at her and despite her 10ft height within the Na’vi body, she felt utterly eclipsed in the shadow of the planet, and she wondered if there were any scholars among the Na’vi people who studied the planets and stars. She wondered if they knew about her own earth, and the moon that had belonged to her once, and the stars and constellations she would wish upon.
“You wish to ask me something child,” Mo’at spoke to her, “But you doubt if you should bring this to my knowledge.” Diana would have been astounded at the woman’s intuition, but she knew it was not intuition that guided her words but whispers. The whispers all Tsahik of each clan hear, spoken to them by Eywa herself as she commands the flow of the forests and streams and the very air that surrounded them.
“I…” Diana didn’t know where to start or how to start or whether she should begin at all, so she spoke from the end, “Why is it that the will of life is etched in stone and not oceans?”
She watched as the Tsahik’s lips lifted slightly, never regarding Diana directly but focusing intently on the leaves of the tree and the way it was caressed by the wind. Diana continued, “Why is it that… that despite the most honest intentions the,” Diana grit her teeth, “will of life deems them not enough? Why does it have to be as hard and cold as stone and not as accepting as the seas?”
“Are the seas so accepting?” Mo’at asked in reply, “Do the depths not frighten you, girl?”
“I am not frightened by what I do not understand.”
“Then perhaps it is more of the world that you should try to understand.”
Diana shook her head against the woman’s words, “It is the world that is not trying to understand me.” She shut her eyes against the words she spoke, berating her own words for how childish they sound coming from a grown woman’s mouth.
“There is no understanding,” Mo’at walked towards her, placing her hand on the woman’s chest, “Here,” and then to her mind, “and here.”
Diana tilted her head to the woman, a pained glance in her eyes as she understood what Mo’at was telling her- but she could not reach the Tsahik in a way that mattered, she could not know what it was like to understand the world the way the Na’vi do. Not in her human body, and not in the body that was created in a lab, “Tsahik,” She whimpered as she gripped the woman’s hand on her head, “Fwäkì ke fwefwi.” A truth that was not hers to keep in her heart, although pained to admit, although ashamed to claim to her, she spoke the words in the tongue that was not hers, to the member of a people she would betray, “I am not strong enough.”
“Tsu’tey has taught you well,” the woman nodded as she approved of Diana’s words.
“Words that do not desire to be hollow are never easy to articulate,” Diana whispered in her own tongue, “But it is words that escape me when,” She sighed as she remembered the reunion of her and her former teacher, then of the way she had frozen upon meeting Neytiri again. Despite her degree, despite all those long years of studying and learning and honing her speech and linguistic talents, words had escaped her.
“Perhaps it would aid your heart to reclaim a gift that was promised,” The Tsahik offered Diana once again, and the younger woman shot her eyes up from the downcast position they had settled in, not believing the words of the woman before her.
“I could not,” She whispered, “He would not accept me again. I… I am no warrior, Tsahik.”
“We will all be tested before the end, child,” Mo’at took her hands from Diana’s as she began to walk away, “Your destiny has already begun.”
“Your destiny has already begun?” Grace asked as she slammed the fridge door closed, putting the milk on the table in front of Jake and sitting across Diana. The woman being addressed shrugged as she took another spoonful of cereal into her mouth and grabbed the sugar from Jake before he could take a spoonful himself.
He held his hands up to her, as if asking what the hell her problem was, but only watched in disgust as she dished three tablespoons into her meal without a word, then addressed Grace again, “Those were the exact words, Grace. And I have no idea what the hell they mean.”
“Maybe it means you’re destined for greatness,” Jake mocked, “Or type-two diabetes.” He jabbed as he stole the sugar back from her and added it to his own meal. It earned him a punch in the arm from Diana, who winced in slight discomfort when all she hit was solid muscle, in which case Jake made a mocking face back to her at her reaction.
“Children, don’t fight at the table,” Grace reprimanded, “What did she say about the pictures and the Tawkami clan?”
Diana shook her head, “Nothing. The Omaticaya aren’t as advanced as the Tawkami when it comes to linguistics. In the sense that the latter is literally the only clan we’ve come to meet so far that have any sort of writing system and the Omaticaya focus on,” Diana threw her hands up in the air, “textiles!”
“Textiles?” Jake asked through a mouth of porridge, which Diana made a disgusted face at and Grace rolled her eyes as she explained.
“Decorative pieces, Jake. Some even make musical instruments. The point is the Omaticaya won’t be much help in figuring out what exactly the Tawkami want with Diana.”
“Okay, so why not just ask them?” Diana scoffed at Jake’s question, but shrunk back when Grace gave her a look of warning and raised her hands in defence.
“The Tawkami welcomed us once, the same way Omaticaya did. And then just like that,” Diana snapped her fingers in front of her face, “Without warning or prompt they turned violent against us, the RDA-though who could blame them- and started attacking every human-touched thing within sight.” Diana sighed as she massaged her temples, “It’s a wonder they’re even trying to communicate now after all this time.”
“Well whatever their reasons where,” Grace decided, “They’re trying to communicate but also keep us away from their Hometree, for now we’ll take what we can get.”

Tsu’tey was always a reserved man, never someone who openly displayed affection, at least, not for others to see. Known for his cold demeanor in the clan and never really minding that, Tsu’tey kept mostly to himself. That was until he fell for you.
The union between you two came gradually but swiftly, hidden in the unspoken words and lingering touches, like a precious gem that needed to be protected from the prying eyes. And Tsu’tey struggled deeply, because all throughout him courting you, all he wanted was to be consumed by you - to touch you as much as he could, to be immersed in your scent, to hear your voice and make you smile. But there was always the fear of scaring you away, so he contained it and locked it away, waiting patiently until the day you would be officially his - when you would truly choose him, the way that he had chosen you.
And when you did eventually mate, and the realization dawned that he no longer had to keep his heart caged, the love for you spilled out of him uncontrollably. His hands were eager to explore every inch of your being, lips trailing soft kisses all over your skin, as if etching the memory into his mind. So within the initial days after the blissful mating, both of you preferred to seek privacy, never leaving your home to enjoy the newfound connection. During these days, Tsu'tey became inseparable from you, clung to you like a second skin, obsessed with the way you were consuming all of his thoughts.
But as the day of reemerging into the public eye arrived, you suddenly felt intimidated by the idea of getting attention from the clan. Having already inherent innate insecurity, being openly with the chief added a new layer of complexity. After all, he was highly respected within the clan, and the standards for his chosen mate were high, casting a shadow of heavy expectation upon you. And as you returned to your communal duties now together, you attempted to make yourself small next to him, hoping that shrinking in his presence will keep you hidden from the eyes of the others. But his scent lingering on your skin announced the news of your mating loudly. You were naive to think that keeping a distance with Tsu’tey in public and minimizing the touches could be enough.
And while it was unfortunate that it didn’t work, what was worse was that it breathed a wave of insecurity into Tsu’tey. That perhaps, you didn't feel about him as strongly as he felt about you. At first, he tried to write it off to your reserved nature, thinking that you were probably just getting used to his affections, but the more you flinched whenever he tried to reach you, the more worrisome he grew.
As you sat together during the communal dinner, you were anxious, feeling as if you were being watched at all times.
“Yawne, you look… stressed,” Tsu’tey made an observation, reaching for your hand, which you instinctively pulled away from his grasp.
The surge of overwhelming emotions within Tsu'tey turned from pure desire and love to a perplexing mixture of confusion and pain. Even this slightest withdrawal in your response caused his heart to clench, piercing amber eyes searched for the reason behind your hesitance.
“Yawne?” he glared down at your hand now tucked between your thighs, as if trying to shield it from his own hand finding yours, “Are you ashamed of being with me?”
“No, of course I am not ashamed,” you shook your head firmly, surprise flickering in your eyes, “Why would I ever be ashamed of being with you?”
“I don’t know, Y/N,” Tsu’tey’s frown mirrored your own, as if it was a puzzle both of you desperately needed to solve, “Why do you pull away when I try to touch you?”
You shrank under his gaze, ears lowering in defeat or perhaps embarrassment, preparing for a vulnerable confession. Cautiously, you scanned the surrounding crowd to ensure no one was listening in. Tsu’tey reached for you once more, resting his hands over your shoulders, as if trying to snap you back into the conversation.
“It’s just… I don’t want to draw attention to us,” you bit your lip, wishing that you could take words back, “I know that everyone already thinks you are too good for me, so I don’t want to remind them of that.”
His expression softened, hands moving from your shoulders to gently cup your face.
“That is not true, no one thinks that,” his tone was serious, trying to convince you that he meant every single word he uttered, “And it shouldn’t matter, yawne. When it comes to you, I cannot hide my feelings. I have yearned for the moment to hold you and touch you ever since my eyes first laid on you. Please do not deny me that, yes?”
You nodded weakly, ears flattening against your skull in a mixture of embarrassment and flattery. Tsu’tey barely spoke more than a few words, especially when it came to his feelings. But he just wasn’t used to it, if he could, he would have screamed at the top of his lungs about how much he loved you. A mischievous smile then curved upon his lips as his mind raced with an idea to convey his affection to you openly, even without the need for spoken words.
A loud yelp escaped your lips, slicing through the air, as Tsu'tey unexpectedly scooped you up the ground and stood up, throwing you over his shoulder. It was so sudden, that your face almost collided with his back, and you had to frantically cling to his body to grip onto him. Your legs dangled helplessly in the air, desperately searching for the solid ground that had become too far away.
“Tsu’tey! Put me down!” you hissed angrily, swatting at his back, but he only chuckled.
The gesture, of course, drew the attention of the whole clan, and curious gazes fixated upon the scene unfolding before them. Annoyed by the unexpected display, you swatted at Tsu'tey again in an attempt to free yourself from his grasp. But instead of releasing you, he turned around dramatically and spoke loudly.
“Everyone, my beautiful mate and I will leave the dinner earlier tonight,” he announced, still holding you tightly, his hands gripping onto your thighs, “Please enjoy the rest of the evening without our presence.”
You could have sworn in that moment that you were probably turning purple from all of the embarrassment. Your heart raced, adrenaline rushing through your body, as Tsu’tey began to walk through the crowd with a snicker. Yet despite your expectations, there was no judgment in the looks you were receiving from the clan members. Still hanging upside down over his shoulder, you could see them only chuckling and nodding with smiles at the sight of Tsu’tey, always cold and unemotional, finally letting himself relax with his mate.
“Tsu’tey! Everyone’s staring,” you whispered shyly, as he continued to walk, carrying you effortlessly.
“Let them stare,” he chuckled weakly, delivering a soft smack to your bottom, making you gasp in shock, “They need to see the pure joy you bring into my life.” You bit your lip in amusement, his words were clearly aligning with the reactions you were getting. Tsu'tey's carefree demeanor and the accepting murmurs of your clan members reassured you that your bond was something to celebrate, not hide.

To explain how you got yourself in this position, back arched and legs straddling your mates waist was an embarrassing story. What wasn’t so embarrassing was the toe curling stimulation your clit was feeling each time you rocked your hips back and forth on Tsu’teys abs. His fingers were gripped into your hips, watching you with a bold smirk on his face knowing he had you wrapped around his finger just from letting you grind on his tones abdomen.
Your pace sped up, feeling your legs jerk away from the overstimulation rushing through your puffy clit to your spine. A choked whine left your throat, and you resorted to bouncing on top of him, pressing down your clit to the stiff ridges.
“Feel good, yawne? You look so pretty getting yourself off like this.” He said, his accent thick with each word.
His deep voice rumbled through his own body, feeling the vibrations on your thighs as well as your heated hunt, only making you more desperate for your release. You brushed your hair to one side and over your shoulder, leaning your head to the corresponding side while you shut your eyes tightly. Your mouth was slightly open, making it easier for small whines to escape.
“S’good, so good..” You trailed off, returning back to your soft grinds.
Finding one spot, you pressed yourself down firmly on his abs, rocking your hips back and forth feverishly. Another cry left your azure lips, hands grasping on his shoulders. Despite the urge to jerk your legs away from the continuous motion, you held steady to aid the growing flutter in your stomach. You can hear how wet you made his chest, looking down briefly to see all your juices glisten. Your eyes trailed up to Tsu’tey, his eyes half lidded. His own hips rocked against nothing, wanting to get himself off after seeing your desperate attempt to get yourself off using his toned abdomen.
Instead of digging into your skin, his fingers ran up and down your sides, trailing up your back before sliding back down to your upper thighs. The subtle touches drove you crazy along with the fact that each ridge your clit went over was slicked up from your aching hole, turning you on even more. Your eyes rolled back, finally feeling the bearing satisfaction you’ve been craving the entire time, your hands darted to Tsu’tey’s, a habit you two nerve dropped. His fingers intertwined with yours and rested on your thighs, feeling your hole that was pressed to his chest clench around nothing as you finally climax.
“There we go, pretty girl. You feel better, yawne?” He said with a teasing voice, his naturally stern eyes gazing down at the white liquid dripping from your core and onto his slick abs.
“Clean your mess up, you know what to do.” Tsu’tey said, hand letting go of yours and gripping onto your hair, bringing you down to his chest.
You whined lazily, still coming down from the high as you repositioned yourself, going down to straddle his legs. You saw Tsu’tey prop himself on his forearms, watching your every move with those intimidating eyes, the ones you loved so much. You dragged your tongue across his abs, licking up your own cum and wetness. Grimacing a bit at the tangy taste, you gazed into his own eyes while doing it, lapping up each bit while he caressed your hair, brushing some from your face and away from your mouth while you continued to clean off his torso.
Once he found it to be enough, Tsu’teys hand gripped onto your soft throat. He pulled you up to where you once were, your arms following to help pull your body up instinctively. “Good girl.” He mumbled before bringing you into a rough kiss, his tongue forcing its way into your mouth, exploring each bit before he pulled away. Your ears pinned back, tail swaying as he left you wanting for more.
“That’s enough for you today, I spoil you too much.” Tsu’tey said, jumping to a squat. He kissed the top of your forehead, raising to his full height inside of the hut.
You readjusted your loincloth, standing up to your own height, which was just below Tsu’teys bottom lip. You wrapped your arms around his own, “You can never spoil me too much.” You said, voice coming off like silk to his ears.
“Nice try, but I meant it.” He said, giving you one of his rare smiles.
He’ll give in eventually.

A/N: You are responsible for your own media consumption. MDNI 18+.Anguish with happy ending .
Pairing: Tsu'tey x Fem!Omatikaya! Reader,
Word count: 1541
Synopsis: Tsu'tey wakes from a horrible nightmare
In another life
"I'm not going to let you die." He looks down at her with tears forming in his eyes. Her breathing became more difficult blood was coming from both her mouth and nose
His grip tightened around her, he leaned down and held her tightly against him, not caring about any of the pain he felt. "Don't leave me." He says tearfully.
"I w-won't Ma Tsu'tey" she fought to stay awake
He looked down at her face as a tear fell onto her face. "You can't die now." He whispers as he squeezed her tightly against him. Her body went limp as she closed her eyes and rested her head on his chest, seemingly passing out from severe blood loss. "No, no, no, no, no!" He replied as his grip tightened around her body more, he looked down at her face and wiped her blood up with his hand. He looks down at her wounds and tightened the pressure as much as possible, trying frantically to stop her bleeding.
" Tsu'tey!" He heard a voice yell and someone shaking him. He suddenly woke up ...... and saw (Y/N) kneeling next to him. .... It was just a dream a horrible nightmare * His breathing was heavy as he looked around, confused and with tears still forming in his eyes. He looked over to his three children, sleeping on mats on their sides. His breathing slowed as he reached out to wipe the tears off his face. He sighed and looked at (Y/N) beside him, he then grabbed her hand and squeezed it tightly. "It was only a dream..." He says softly while looking down at his children.
She gently caressed his cheek " it wasn't real my heart"
"I know, but it felt too real." He answers and looks back over to his children, nodding and smiling, reassuring himself that it was in fact only a dream. He looks at her with a small smile and squeezes her hand in return. "Thank goodness you're here with me." He says softly and leans in to give her a quick kiss on the lips. His breathing slowed as he reached out to wipe the tears off his face. He sighed and looked at (Y/N) beside him, he then grabbed her hand and squeezed it tightly. "It was only a dream..." He says softly while looking down at his children She gently caressed his cheek "do you wish to speak about it ?"
"No, no." He replied softly as he looked back down at his kids and rubbed their heads while they slept. "It was only a nightmare." He repeated himself, the look in his eyes still showing fear and tears slowly falling down his cheeks. His grasp on her hand was like the grip of a drowning person, as if he needed to hold on tightly for support. She cleaned his face " we're all here safe and sound ". She grabbed his hand placing it on her swollen abdomen. He looked down at his hand resting on her stomach and the slight bulge she had. "We are." He answered quietly and looked back down at his children, they were still asleep. He rubbed his head and sighed.
"It just felt so real... it felt like I was back there, back in the battle." He replied softly as he looked back up at her.
She kissed his cheek gently. He smiled a bit at her kiss, although it quickly faded when he noticed he was still shaking from the dream.
"It felt like I was back there... It felt so real..." He repeated himself, his eyes looking around, as if he could see it all over again. "But it's not that was many years ago and we're both here together living a life we built together " she added "I know. It just felt so real." His grip on her hand tightened as the memory of the dream was still fresh in his mind. "I was so scared." He admitted quietly as he looked down at her, his eyes had tears in them again. He rubbed his eyes and tried to compose himself. "If I had lost you that night... I don't know what I would have done." He then added. She hugged him He returned her hug and rested his head on her shoulder, his hand was still tightly grasped around hers to the point his knuckles were turning white. He continued rubbing his eyes as if to attempt to prevent tears from forming."I don't think I could have lived without you." He admitted, his voice starting to break with emotion.
"Oh ma Tsu'tey" she hugged him comforting him
He looked up at her and smiled slightly, his grip slightly lighter now. "You can't imagine how much that dream terrified me." He said softly as he finally took in a breath and attempted to calm himself down.He wiped away at his tears and looked down at her, then down at their children.
"I never want to have a dream like that again." He said as a shudder ran through his body.
She caressed his braids He smiled, she's always liked playing with his braids. It relaxed him, it made him feel comfortable. He continued to wipe away his leftover tears as he looked down at her stomach. She was already showing with their fourth child and he couldn't help but smile. She nuzzled him purring. He chuckled at her purring and his grip tightened around her hand.
He placed his other arm around her shoulders and gently pulled her close to him.
"I love you." He told her softly, looking down at her stomach again. "I love you too" He gave another smile and began rubbing his thumb over her stomach gently. "I can't believe we're going to be parents again." He says softly, looking at her stomach as he continues to rub it. His hold on her hand was still firm. "Yes because spider and our other two weren't enough for you" she teased
He chuckled at her comment and nodded slightly.
"Three definitely weren't enough. I won't rest until we have more." He said with a teasing grin. He was just trying to lighten the mood now, he was no longer afraid and instead was calm. He sighed and continued talking. "There is no better way to spend our life than with our children." He said with a smile on his face. She kissed him gently
He smiled into her kiss and returned it.
Their children started to stir and he looked down at them. They seemed to be waking up.
"Well, I guess they're starting to wake up again." He said gently, but his grip on her hand still remained firm as he didn't want to let go just yet.
She smiled watching them The children slowly started making sounds, rubbing their eyes and waking up. The youngest was still sleeping, she always had the hardest time to wake up in the morning. "Seems like they're awake now. We should make breakfast." He said softly, still holding onto her hand.
“It's still dark out I say we let them crawl into bed with us and convince them to sleep a bit longer”
He smiled at her suggestion, she had a good idea there. He also liked it when they slept a little longer in the morning. "Alright, let's do that." He said softly as he looked down at his children, who were stretching their arms up towards the sky slowly waking up.(Y/N) laid back down on this bed yawning. Tsu'tey followed her movements and laid back down, next to her. He didn't speak, instead he just looked down at his children and sighed softly. He looked at her and smiled, watching as their children continued to yawn and stretch out.
Their youngest was the last to wake up but she still didn't show any sign of waking up. He placed his hand on her swollen stomach while the oldest of their children crawled over to them and climbed up on their bed to sleep between them. Skyler covered herself and them
Tsu'tey smiles faintly as he watches her cover everyone up, he then pulls the blanket over himself as well. He sighs silently and looks at the children on the bed with him and (Y/N) .
Their youngest finally wakes up and turns her body around before slowly crawling towards (Y/N) in hopes to sleep with her. She smiles at (Y/N) , her tiny hand stretching out to her stomach. The children were adorable and precious, he can't help but smile at them. "Sleep well my love." He says softly, his breathing slowly as he falls asleep holding her close to him. They slept for a few hours before they were woken up by their children.
Both Tsu'tey and(Y/N) are awoken by their children. spider jumping on his father’s chest and their youngest poking at (Y/N) their little faces lighting up as they wake up. "Good morning, sweethearts." (Y/N) says softly as she hugs both of them. Tsu'tey grounts waking immediately, he opens his eyes, blinking and adjusting to the sudden brightness and movement around him. He smiles hearing giggles as he looks down at their children.

Opening my eyes, expecting to find myself in the windowless compound I had confined my body the day before, I'm met with the sight of sunlight beaming through multiple windows. Frantically glancing down, I discover my hands still tinged with the same blue hue as my Avatar from the previous day, moving my hands around in disbelief.
Suddenly hit with the same pain I had the previous day, but this time the feeling tenfold worse. My hands instinctively reach to cradle my head, as if my hands were protecting my head from whatever pain was causing my head to ache.
This can't be happening! I was suppose to disconnect from this body. Thoughts started to race through my mind, while my brain simply couldn't catch up before being hit with another wave of pain.
As I stagger out of bed, a wave of agony crashes over me, each pulse feeling like a bullet piercing my skull. Struggling to maintain balance, I attempt to walk, but with each step, the pressure in my head intensifies. Collapsing onto the bed I had just vacated, I cling to it for support.
Looking around the other Avatar beds, I note that Norm, Grace and Jake had all left to go do something requiring the use of their Avatar bodies, leaving me alone in the compound. Using all my remaining strength, I decided to go to the one person who I know could possibly help, Max.
Approaching Max, he seems to already be expecting me, turning around with a smile on his face. "You seemed to have a early start of your day, already in your Avatar body so early. Grace, Norm and Jake went out to the forest, they'll be back in a few hours." he says, smiling up at me, but faltering as he realises the look on my face.
"Max, I didn't delink." I say weakly, looking down at him.
"What? No, that's impossible." he says smile now fully replaced with a serious look and calls over the other scientists and doctors in the bio-lab.
Multiple doctors and scientists walk up to me and help me get on a gurney set up. "Don't worry Y/n. We just need to run a couple of tests." Max says, trying to reassure me.
Hours pass, and seemingly everything that the doctors do makes the pain worsen. With every needle etched into my skin, with every question asked bouncing around in my brain causing pain. The strength that I once felt in this body now deteriorating as the hours go by. Deciding to go against the many warning and wishes of doctors and closing my eyes in the hope that I would delink in the process.
Ties passes with me being asleep but still stirring discomfort. Grace and Norm both walk up to me in their human forms, having delinked prior. "What's happening?" I hear her say through closed eyes.
Immediately opening them, I utter, "Where's Jake?" looking at her then behind her in hopes of my brother to wheel in from behind.
"Where's Jake? Where's my brother, Grace? Norm?" I repeat louder, frantically looking at them waiting for a response, as I hiss because the sudden movement causes the pain to resurface.
"Jake got lost, he'll be fine, he's a marine after all. You should be worried about yourself right now." she says trying to calm me down.
Deciding to lay my head back down on the gurney, a single tear rolling down my blue-stained cheek. "You lost my brother," I say defeated as I close my eyes, not wanting to stare into the cold lights on the lab.
"Grace, Y/n didn't delink last night." Max interjects, breaking the silence in the lab. At his words, both Norm and Grace instinctively turn their gazes toward Y/n, noticing the thin layer of sweat formed on her forehead.
"Why can't we just press the emergency release button on her link bed?" Norm asks, directing his question as Grace.
"That'll kill her and her Avatar. She is too weak in both states." Grace responds eyes not leaving Y/n, who lies there, examining her false body whilst her real one remains trapped in her link bed.
"This cannot be treated with the medicine we have. This is an Avatar body. Only Tsahik can heal her now."
Opening the door to his link bed, Jake is greeted with the sight of Grace flashing light into his eyes. "Come on back kid." she says slapping his face lightly.
You're not gonna believe where I am." he says with a chuckle, earning a smile from Grace who immediately knew what the Marine had just said, while exiting the link bed. Reminded of the harsh reality as he adjusts himself on his wheelchair.
"Where's Y/n? I gotta tell her all about the shit I went through today," he says, wheeling around to go find his sister.
"That's what we wanted to tell you Jake, Y/n is still in her Avatar form." Grace informs Jake, as he looks to where her link bed is situated and confirms that the bed is indeed still running.
"But, she's been that way since yesterday. She's sick Jake. A sickness we are not capable of treating. Only Tsahik can, and you're the only one they accepted in, so we need you to–" Grace adds but is cut of by Jake.
"Take her to Mo'at. I got it." he adds while still being in disbelief at the information that Y/n was still in her Avatar form.
"Where is her Avatar?" is all he says as he looks away from Grace, guilt eating at him. While he was snagging a date with the Olo'eytkan's daughter, his very own sister was fighting for her life in a body she didn't wish to even have.
"On the gurney." Norm says, pointing at a still Y/n in the center of the room, wires attached to her temple and onto a monitoring machine.
Wheeling over to his sister, Jake stops and looks at her face. Eyebrows scrunched, as if she could still feel while she slept. "Don't worry Y/n, I'll bring you to Mo'at, she'll know what to do."
Tumblr media
"Come on, Y/n. I'm gonna need you to work with me here." Jake grunts, his effort evident as he hoists one of my arms over his shoulders, helping me off the gurney.
"I'm trying," I sigh, leaning heavily onto his Avatar body. The pulsating agony in my temple dulled a bit, but still remains excruciating, especially at the slightest of sounds- ironic, given the heightened senses of an Avatar.
"We just need to get you onto the Samson. Trudy will take us halfway there, we'll have to walk the rest." he says, leading me into the loading dock where a lady, who I assume to be Trudy, waits. Both Grace and Norm by her side in their Avatar forms.
The flight didn't take long, but the machines noise makes it unbearable to sit without contorting my face. "We're here Y/n." This is where we split." Grace says, placing a reassuring hand on my shoulder as the Samson lands amidst Pandoras dense flora.
Exiting the ship with Jakes help, I watch as Norm, Grace and Trudy fly off. Norm and Grace are yet to be accepted by the Omatikaya, while Trudy's situation is more obvious.
The trek to the home tree isn't far, but I struggle to appreciate Pandoras beauty as my head seems to only want to be focused on pain. "This wouldn't happen with Tommy–" I begin through gritted teeth.
"Would you just–Y/n. Stop thinking of the past, he's gone." Jake interrupts, his voice laced with irritation as he adjusts my arm, supporting me as we continue.
"How could you just forget–" I start before silencing myself, fixated on the towering tree ahead, it's entrance clearly marked. Voices fill the air with a foreign language.
"Kewong." is the only word I hear as Jake and I navigate through the gathering crowd. Inspecting us as if we were uninvited animals. The murmurs fade but linger as a commanding voice resonates through the gathering.
"Jakesully. We accept you, yet you think it's acceptable to bring back another tawtute!" a woman declares, descending the home trees stairs with confidence, her demeanour unmistakably authoritative.
"Mo'at. Tsahik of the Omatikaya Clan. I ask that you please help my sister. She is ill and cannot be helped by our healers. You're her only hope." Jake pleads occasionally averting his gaze from Mo'at's stern glare.
Mo'at turns her attention to me, and I stiffen under her sharp gaze. "What's your name?" she asks bluntly, her eyes boring into mine.
"Y/n. Y/n Sully." I reply, swallowing hard.
"Tsmuktu. Uniltirantokx Tsmuktu." she declares, circling me like prey, mirroring the crowds earlier inspection.
"You are weak, Weaker than your brother Jakesully. You will not survive." she declares, her words final. She refuses aid, and Jake seems to sense the seriousness of her words.
Stumbling forward, out of Jakes grasp, I follow Mo'at pleading silently as my knees buckle beneath the weight of my throbbing head.
"I only aid The People. You, Y/nsully, are not one of us." Mo'at declares, dismissing me without a glance.
In the midst of Mo'at's discourse, a dandelion-like creature lands briefly on my forehead before fluttering away.
A woman steps forward, "Atokirina, Ma Tsahik." she says in a rushed voice, offering a tentative smile.
"A sign from Eywa." she explains, lifting me gently. "Ma Tsahik." she turns to Mo'at with a knowing look.
"Come," Mo'at says not bothering to look back, leading the way with the woman and Jake by my side.
"Who's eywa?" I whisper to Jake, to which he shrugs. "No idea, asked Norm and he gave me a lecture, but I tuned out." he whispers back, a shared chuckle lightening our steps as we struggle to keep pace with the Tsahik.
Entering a tent-like structure, I can only assume belongs to Mo'at and her mate, the Olo'eytkan. "Lay down." she instructs me.
As I comply, Mo'at resumes speaking. "Neytiri, fetch her appropriate clothing. We do not tolerate tawtute attire." she commands, turning to Neytiri, who promptly departs. Mo'at kneels beside me.
As Neytiri leaves, another Na'vi man enters, his anger radiating as he confronts Mo'at and I. "How could you allow this demon entry?" he accuses, pointing a finger at me.
"Tsu'tey she is unwell. She poses no threat." Jake intervenes, stepping forward with his hands in the air.
"You! Do not adrress me as one of your own." Tsu'tey rebukes Jake, pushing him aside to confront me.
"You suffer because you inhabit a false body. Return to your tawtute life." he insists glaring down at me.
"I would if I could," I retort, meeting his gaze from my position on the floor, catching Mo'at's attention.
"If you could?" she probes skeptically before returning her focus to crushing the herbs, while Neytiri re-enters with a loincloth and accessories.
"Yes, I am unable to revert back to my human form." I admit, sighing as Mo'at and Neytiri exchange meaningful looks.
"Child, you are chosen by Eywa. Both you and your tsmukan." Mo'at declares, placing a cool cloth on my forehead and motioning me to remain still.
"It is settled. You will be instructed by Tsu'tey, once you are well." she concludes leaving, with a furious Tsu'tey follwing behind.
"I will teach you both the ways of our tongue." Neytiri announces before departing, leaving Jake and I alone in the home of the Tsahik and Olo'eytkan.
"Rest Y/n. I wanna go back and tell Norm about how you and I are both getting trained by the future clan leaders, I wanna see the jealousy on his face." Jake says, a grin on his face as he exits, likely to delink.
With that, my eyes drift closed involuntarily, the pain slowly receding as I slip further and further into slumber.
