after the trio graduate high-school, they decide to have a ghost tour of the country in the summer before college
documenting everything on social media (where it reads as an arg of sorts with the amount of spooky things they manage to do), they have tons of fun debunking various haunted hot spots on sam's occult bucket list or recommended by their viewers
they make their way to gotham to investigate the sightings of jason todd's ghost

things that fill me with rage: people who spend hours and hours and hours camped out in the main central parts of the house which you need access to in peace by yourself for like 20-30 minutes just to do basic selfcare--let alone actual sanity time outside your room--every single day from before you wake up in the morning until at best the last few hours of your day, where any energy you had is gone and you're having to recover/catch back up from a day trapped in your room with no selfcare
things that fill me with enough rage to blow up the sun: people who do this and every now and then fake you out by going Somewhere the Fuck Else for literally just long enough for you to hustle out of your room--or even start to--before SIKE they come right back through and start camping A G A I N. this time while you are probably trapped outside your room until the thing is done, and/or it'll be Rude to very obviously turn around and leave to avoid them. which they WILL inevitably take offense at. 🙃🙃🙃🙃

I'm wondering if maybe Roxy operates on the same principle of dogs that say you can't sit down without the dog being present at all times. Like does Cassie sit down literally anywhere and Roxy materialise next to her? It's not that she's desperate for attention or anything, it's just instinct to want sit next to those she cares about or something, ya know? Like if she really wants attention too, she'll do something to get it as well, but what if she operates on the Rule of Dog that dictates you can't relax or take a breather without Dog also being there?

#this isn't at the mutuals who rbed it im just having a History Nerd Moment#like walter freeman was 100% a piece of shit#and ruined countless people's lives#and the bit about him wanted to preform lobotomy experiments on the Tuskegee syphilis patients#was true! he did want to do it but was dismissed#the thing is freeman didn't invent the lobotomy per se--he studied the technique from a portuguese doctor#named egaz moniz who was the earliest guy to research the connection between the brain and mental health#and he preformed his early experiments on rabbits dogs monkeys etc#freeman came from a long line of famous surgeons and wanted to make his mark#so when he was working on a psych ward and heard about about moniz's research he decided#he'd begin his own studies on the relation of the brain and mental health#going in with the idea of 'most illnesses have a physical cause so that must be the case for the brain as well'#im not giving him any leeway but at that time in history the only cure for mi they had was 'lock them away in an asylum forever'#so wanting to find an actual cure for mental illnesses was relatively noble but. he was not#he did want a cure but it was only so he could Make His Mark on History. when he observed personality changes in chimps#when they had their frontal lobes demaged he went 'ureka!' and decided that was it#it caused many serious complications but he didn't care because it stopped all physical symptoms (really people would just. sit there)#and he thought this was such a perfect solution he wanted to franchise the procedure. for lack of better words#(i'm running out of tags so i'll rb with some more hang on)

the thing about ctechno is like. He is a violent anarchist when anarchism is born from hating violence and the idea that goverments are violent in the ways they can enforce their will so that one ahould be against goverment.
Then he forges an alliance with the most powerful guy.
We could have had such a fucking cool thing if he instead stayed the third side of the war, opposing both lmanberg and dream
c!Techno makes me sad to think about because he was so close to becoming one of my favorite characters, if not my actual favorite.
The concept of a character who begins their story with a shallow understanding of their chosen ideology, who makes flawed alliances due to ignorance of history, who tears down systems they (understandably) believe to be flawed while offering no effective support system for those caught in the fallout, and who eventually either drowns in their stubbornness and spite or is forced to confront the personal and wide-scale consequences of their actions, which leads to growth and transformation...
Well, it's been a brilliant arc in theory. Unfortunately, there were just too many little things that irked me about the execution.

yeah its. upsetting. i was raised in a city that had (and still has) a very high number of dogs/cats in shelters and as such was raised with the mentality that buying a purebred dog just because its purebred is dumb. which like. isnt inherently true people can do whatever they want with their money but i fell in love w sheldon and she did too and im really sad that it took one single phone call to back track months of work to get him :(
