Transmasc!Geralt x (GN)Trans!Reader Headcanons

(A/N: I write Geralt as the type of transmasc that doesn't have a lot of dysphoria and is comfortable with his breasts. If you are uncomfortable with that, don't read this. Also, don't read this if you're cis, it makes me heavily uncomfortable. All of these are written as non-sexual. I don't write suggestive or smutty things.)

He gets it. Not the type of person to make a big deal about it, but he also wouldn't just brush it off. He wants to make sure you know he supports you and understands.

Definitely forgets to tell you that he's also trans. Oops.

You find out later once he casually mentions it in conversation. He kind of just thought it was obvious and apologizes.

Geralt used to wear a binder when he was younger, but he doesn't really care anymore. Most of the time he goes without it, cause he doesn't like how it feels under his armor. If he HAS to put something on, he opts for a VERY worn bralette.

If you wear a binder/bra, he'd probably offer to help you in and out of it. Not cause he thinks you're incapable, he just likes the intimacy of it.

Casually nude a LOT. Just walks around half naked or entirely naked.

Very supportive, through and through. If your identity fluctuates, you don't know how you identify or you just don't identify with anything at at all, he's got you. There's times where even he questions his gender identity.

Feels more comfortable getting you gifts with you actually around. He doesn't want to buy something you don't want, he'd rather you know than it be a surprise and you end up disliking it.

This applies greatly to clothes.

There's a lot of clothes he thinks you'd like, but he doesn't want to get something that makes you feel dysphoric.

LOVES IT when you lay your head on his chest. Absolutely adores it. Wouldn't have it any other way.

If you listen closely, you can hear his heart speed up a little when you lay down on him.

Likes to ride Roach with you in his lap. Or behind him. But he prefers to be able to see you. It's a trauma thing smh.

If you have trouble correcting people on your pronouns, he's happy to do it for you to help you build up the confidence to be able to do it yourself.

But he also understands that people have different boundaries and that you might not be out of the closet yet, or ever.

Likes to see you bashful because of a compliment he gave you or because of a romantic gesture. It makes him happy to know he makes you feel good.

Likes to clean his swords and armor in your presence. It's comforting to know you're there. Is not against you cuddling him while he does it.

Being in a relationship with you probably helped him realize that he was much more comfortable in a relationship with another trans person. He didn't feel like he needed to hide himself.

You guys stay at Corvo Bianco for a few months each year, before bidding your farewells and heading back on the path. B.B. is also very supportive of trans people, so you don't have to worry about that.

WANTS YOU TO MEET ESKEL, LAMBERT, CIRI, VESEMIR, REGIS, DANDELION, ETC SO BAD. He understands tho if you're not ready for that.

He just wants to show everyone how great his partner is. (And also maybe acceptance from his family)

Ciri loves you. You make Geralt happy, that's all she could ask for.

Lambert is a bit more critical of you, just cause he's protective smh. Grows close with you over time.

Eskel is a professional polite and is just happy Geralt found someone to love.

Vesemir respects you but also teases the hell out of you and Geralt, as do the boys.

At the end of the day, they're all fiercely supportive of you and Geralt sometimes thinks his heart is gonna burst from happiness.

Very gentle kisser. Likes to rest your foreheads together. It helps keep him grounded.

Eh. It's more like trans men are expected by cis women and in lesbian or otherwise queerfem spaces to be The Protector. We're supposed to be nonthreatening men until a Woman Or Femme is in need of rescuing - then we're supposed to be super macho and self-sacraficing and use our "male power/privilege" to step in and be the one who takes the literal physical hits. We have to be the chivalrous butch, the man who won't let anyone hurt you but will leave the second danger is gone and go back to standing against the wall and being silent.

And then you have other nations where trans men are in the draft, now that we're men -- we can be used as a weapon and a shield and another expendable asset, but we reap none of the frail benefits of the patriarchy that are allegedly granted because of the dangers that men are required to face.

The witchers are a group of men expected to put their lives on the line, to defend "The Weak" then get told to leave because they're weird, mutilated, scary, and inhuman. It feels a little close to home. Especially after having been a bouncer at a lesbian bar.
