QUICK REMINDER THAT MUN =/= THE MUSE!!! I run a lot of blogs , and Bucky is the blog I use for exploring more edgy topics. This does not mean I ( the mun ) condone anything that happens in threads.

A lot of fucked up shit has happened to Bucky in his story , both in the mcu and the comics , and as someone who has survived his share of abuse , I see similarities in myself and Bucky. The headcanons I write about him will be dark on occasion , and I will not be bothered if you don't want to follow for your own mental health. In fact , I appreciate it. ALL TRIGGERING HEADCANONS WILL BE TAGGED FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY, and especially triggering content will always be under a read more.

I will also be exploring Bucky's time with HYDRA , as it's something that is shied away from and I have been exploring for my own catharses at times. ( we all do this with our muses to a degree. ) ALL THREADS IN THAT TIMELINE WILL BE UNDER A READ MORE. I understand that stuff is incredibly triggering for people and while I do explore those themes , I do want to protect my followers. and any posts involving HYDRA muses will be tagged "cw hydra muse".

Sorry for the long rant. I just felt the need to put some of this stuff out there so nobody is shocked by what might be posted on this blog. Again , no hard feelings if this is not the blog for you , the rest of my blogs I keep much more tame I promise.

awwh, hi there jingles! 💛✨ it's so good to hear from you again! i missed you a lot during my hiatus okay, i love seein' your name back in my notifs! thank you for givin' me an excuse to talk about the hadleys: they helped me fall back in love w the sims and i adore them!

the hadleys, plus tia + her family, are thirteen strong and four generations deep! it began when i was limited to playing on my mac with minimal cc, and thus, steven hadley was born. i wanted to start from uni and see where the game would lead me - the game spawned rangi as one of her dorm roomies, and from there it was history.

steven and rangi were thick as thieves. they would prank each other's toilets, autonomously buzzer each other, and kiss and canoodle just as much. when i tell you these sims showed me the delight of autonomous sim romances! even if they're little lines of code, they genuinely loved one another.

rangi kealoha (the green ghost who i forgot to take solo pics of oh god) is headcanon'd into the universe as makoa's cousin (maternal), and the two of them moved to sulani after they graduated college. they had their baby boy blue very early (before they graduated) thanks to rangi's family aspiration, and their twin daughters selene and luna followed shortly after: they took the kids to selvadorada when they all aged up (they were all abt 4 days apart in age bc i was very impatient on my mac lmao) and were married at the top of a temple!

because i'm impatient as hell, the hadleys developed a tradition of their heirs leaving home once they aged up into a teen (because i was not dealing with children and teens goin to school all at once on a tiny little macbook) and blue moved out to live with his godmother, lilith pleasant (who was hot af, steven's best friend, and just died in-game rip) in glimmerbrook.

fascinated by magic and spells since his youth (he befriended dolphins in sulani and would stay up "reading under the covers" for ages), blue was exhaustive in his search for a way to the magic realm. once he got there, he was determined to become a spellcaster: and simeon silversweater, though reluctant and certainly irritated by this plucky newcomer, hesitantly agreed to turn him into one.

and then blue developed a crush on him when he aged up and i let it play out because i'm a dirty, dirty sinner.

(the glows around them are their immortality overlays! blue worked tirelessly to craft perfect potions of immortality for himself and his lover: seeing as his dad just passed in-game, he's kinda regretting not making some for his parents dfhkld)

circe hadley was blue and simeon's firstborn: same gender couples can have genetic babies in my game with no questions, bc it's the sims. she was originally going to be the third generation's heir before i went back to blue and simeon's household and discovered tia. (her original randomized name before i retrograded it to tiamat)

circe followed hadley tradition and moved to strangerville when she aged up. i wanted to play through all the packs i hadn't bothered with in my first few playthroughs! circe met tristan (her now-husband whose last name i forget woops) when she was gathering information for the strangerville mystery - he was a military agent at the time.

(yes he was also a young adult at the time they met i'm a piece of trash)

the two of them saved strangerville together (alongside jess sigworth and erwin pries) and moved to brindleton bay to start a family. their daughter carolina (left, firstborn) and their son rango (right, secondborn) were the first great-grandbabies of the hadley legacy, and rangi was able to meet them both before he passed. 🥺

needless to say, i am very excited to explore the new family-themed pack with these guys! i loved my not-so-berry family, but playing the game fully sandboxed within the realm of the hadleys was such a fun and inspiring way to get me back to what i loved about gameplay as a kid (long before reshades and screenshots and edits), and for that i will love them so so so much.

To whom this concerns, here’s a small PSA: If you write the Abyss twin (by default or as a verse, it doesn’t matter), Kaeya (whose moral compass leans towards Khaenri’ah and completely against Celestia in an openly aggressive way) or any other muse whose the latter beliefs apply, please let me know someway what your muse’s stance is towards Dain if they have the means to know. It can be in a comment right here, a message over IMs or a note via a meme thingy. Once will be enough, as more than anything it’s a small help to me to know where to stand, it’s all. There isn’t more to this, but I’ll provide an explanation under cut that can be skipped and be completely fine with that:

Since a while ago I’ve noticed a certain trend about victimizing Khaenri’ah entirely while condemning, once again, entirely Celestia which creates this situation of black and white without the in-between greys. This led me to too many situations for my comfort in which mostly abyss twins and Kaeyas would enter in this spiral of blaming Dain or not listening to what he has to say despite its relevance and not advancing at all beyond insults after insults and aggression. Which is fine by me, anyone who holds this moral compass and knows about Dain’s stance in all of this is welcomed to judge him all they want.

But it gets particularly draining to me when the plot won’t advance and no matter what happens, it stays stuck there. Dain may as well make Animal Crossing noises and it’d be the same as if he tried to reason with these muses which... is absolutely no fun. With the crazy increase of Kaeya muses particularly and this feel like everyone has to side unconditionally with Khaenri’ah / the Abyss Order while disregarding their faults too (what happened to them is still unfair, mind you, specially if the line of thought I go by is accurate in what concerns that whatever they’d do, they were still in Celestia’s crosshairs), I’m left in an awkward position in which I genuinely don’t know how to treat these on the whim interactions and of course, the fear that it’ll spiral into the situation aforementioned.

As to why this situation happens, I think I stressed this a lot but for peeps that came after it was said and didn’t catch wind of it: No, Dain won’t bend down the knee for the Abyss twin. No, Dain won’t bend down the knee for Kaeya either, prince or not —while I’ll respect each mun’s take of him in this regard, I default to what’s stated in canon: someone of his clan was a regent and regencies aren’t inheritable. Whoever was the regent and tried to make Khaenri’ah a better place has merit and Dain’s recognition, but that’s all it is—. In doing any of these, Dain’s character would be demolished in its entirety and I’m not here for that, hence this kind of situation tends to happen with that kind of muses.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

Literally these people from Gaza have made an account on Tumblr and is writing in english to communicate what they need and you all are coming onto my blog or on the tag and not reblogging their posts. We have people both Palestinian and non Palestinian vetting the fundraisers! I mean more the reblogs, more the chance of the fundraisers gaining momemtum, the more there would be a chance of a donation. @/mohammedayesh has posted about getting leaflets, telling them to evacuate Rafah. They are very low on funds. Go follow them and reblog their posts and donate if possible.
