#rottmnt is teaching me that I can push the poses even more. that sometimes I can break anatomy but in exchange, it enforces the exaggeration of the movement and the delivery of the action scene is immaculate!

I love having the special interests of a 12 year old boy from the early 2000's because you'll ask me what my favourite media's are and I pull out a list of boy cartoons meant for pre teens

Donnie: Well, no sense that Casey is in any real danger.
Casey: Let me go!!
Donnie: Technically, that’s not a cry for help.
Casey: HELP!!
Donnie: Well, not a cry for me.
Casey: DONNIE!!
Donnie: Fine! I’m coming.

One thing that cracks me up about kids media that shows the characters being high school age is how unrealistic it is that they don't use any swear words. Like most all high schoolers swear at least twice in one conversation to their next class, and that's the "good kids". yes there are people who just don't swear a lot, and it takes their friend group a minute to recover after hearing them casually say fuck.
But this is a whole friend group who don't swear at all. The hs friend groups who never cuss always think they're better than everyone else for it. And the people in these shows who do think they're better than everyone else are likely the people who would swear the most.
This doesn't even get into the weird shit high schoolers talk about.
