can we please have a peek into sirius’ (or narcissa’s) thoughts on regulus’ relationship with voldemort in both ays and tlwd??
Oh boy 😂 Sirius has some things to say about Regulus' taste in men.

In this one, Sirius is more wary and cautious around Regulus. He knows something's up with his brother, but he doesn't know what and he doesn't know about the whole time travel thing. All he knows is that one day his little brother woke up, grew a spine of steel and decided to take over the world - starting with Britain.
So he's very aware that Regulus is Not Chill, and that his brother is apparently waging open war against the rumoured Dark Lord (because Voldemort hasn't kicked off any major assaults yet and is still operating largely in the shadows). Sirius knows that Regulus can take care of himself and is embodying the notion of "doing bad things for the right reasons".
But once he picks up on the weird vibes between Regulus and Riddle, and the truth of who Riddle is comes out - Sirius for once doesn't react rashly.
No.
Just this once he pauses, takes a breath, and asks Regulus what's up. He sits, and he listens, and he withholds his judgement. Because Regulus is different now, and is playing a dangerous, deadly game against a man neither of them could hope to match magically, and he needs all the help he can get.
Sirius left his brother behind once before, and he refuses to do it again.
So he listens. He hears everything Regulus says and everything he doesn't say, and he realises almost immediately that this is one hurt he can't stop. This is an oncoming hit he can't step in front of and take instead.
Sirius knows Regulus is setting himself up for heartbreak, and though it burns and he can't quite understand why Regulus has seemingly in part fallen for his ultimate enemy (the man he wants to kill and has actively been planning to murder for months), he quietly accepts that he'll just have to be there for him in the aftermath.

In this AU, Sirius is a hell of a lot more critical, and in part that's because he's got a lot more rage at Voldemort. Here, Sirius has lost James and Lily, lost Remus, lost Peter, and lost years of his life.
He lost the chance to raise his godson.
So he's angrier at the world and at Voldemort, and when it becomes clear that Regulus is, in some manner, interested in the Dark Lord (no matter how reluctantly, no matter how much he denies it), Sirius doesn't take it well.
They clash about it. Loudly. Viciously. Tossing around mean words and digging their fingers into each other's weak spots in the bloody way only family really can.
Sirius brings up Harry, callously calling Regulus' love for his adopted son into question because how can you like the man that murdered his parents?
Regulus bites back about Sirius' inability to separate James from Harry and that of the two of them, it is Regulus that has been there for Harry because revenge was more important to Sirius than protecting his godson.
They don't talk to each other for days after that fight.
And even in the future, once they've brushed it off like they do with all their fights (ignoring the way their words still festered because that's how they were raised), Sirius still is never supportive of whatever the fuck is going on between Voldemort and Regulus.
The only difference is he keeps his ire firmly aimed in Voldemort's direction.

schlep文笔没有tlwd好，也不像tlwd那样是主线办案的完整故事而是片段灭文法（www）后面才开始上眼睛剧情但它比tlwd抠金的形象抠得细微，金的种族性向*哪能拆开谈啊，而是合在一起组成他这么一个骄傲的不肯放松控制的躲在墙后面的其实渴望被挖出来的，最重要的是，失去眼睛的伤痛对他和哈里的关系有决定性意义，而且哈里视角，这都是透过哈里去看待金，本身也带着哈里的塑造，所以我会把这篇放在tlwd之上

So, my ASOIAF lover brother is home for the holidays, and I mentioned to him that I have a semi-popular GoT fanfic that I’m struggling to figure out how to end properly.
We spent the next 7 hours plotting out the most epic of epic endings for The Lone Wolf Dies and honestly, I think what we wrote deserves its own fic at this point.
I was originally planning on wrapping everything up in only one more chapter. But the ideas we came up with would take like 5-10 more chapters at least. It’s and ending that is clearly better than what the show gave us, and it’s an ending that book lovers would enjoy as well (if they could get past the Jonsa stuff.) Its so much more epic in scope than I originally planned. It has so much more thematic and literary stuff than I originally planned. It’s also just so good.
I’m honestly torn. Writing with his help could make the final chapters feel different than the first 4, because they cover so much more than just Jonsa and Winterfell, but also...like fuck. It’s so good.
So, I can’t really decide what to do now.
If you have an opinion of what you’d like to see/wait for for The Lone Wolf Dies, let me know. I’m doing this for the fans who really like the story and I want to finish it for you in a way it will be enjoyed.

Hi Friends!
I made the mistake of thinking FanFiction.net was the website I remember so fondly from 2002-2005. I had always planned on crossposting my fics to both AO3 and FF.net but I was quickly put back into my place today. Apparently Ship and Let Ship doesn’t exist on FF.net like it does on AO3 - and a story is “rubbish” and deserves spiteful reviews for not fitting your ideas! Who knew?
I posted chapter 1 of my fic The Lone Wolf Dies (as it’s probably one of the few fics I have that adheres to FF.net’s rules and guidelines) on fanfiction.net this morning - and wow it didn’t even take 1 hour for me to receive my first hate review!
Reviewers feel slighted that a clearly marked Jonsa fic also has also tagged Daenerys (I did so because I know some Jonsa peeps who would not like to read a fic that features Daenerys). And you know, it’s totally fair to put that on me. Clearly my fault. I’m sorry they had to read 2,000 words of a fic that hasn’t shown any explicit Jonsa or shipping preferences yet. I’m sorry that I forced them to click and read and waste 15 minutes of their time (I mean, if they can read that fast, obviously. It’s not the usual Jonerys picture book.) I’m sorry they cannot just click out and move on to the next freely written fic that fits their preference. In no way am I, the author, the one who has gotten the short straw in this by having to receive such hateful, unnecessary comments. I must deserve it.
That shows me!
So, Jonsa fam - I probably will be taking down all my fics from FF.net and won’t be looking for new ones there anymore. Sorry but FF.net has obviously drank the kool-aid.

It's not turning up in the latest FtRP chapter, so I'm giving you all the dreams from The Lines We Draw (which is nearly finished! I had some technical difficulties with the file, which was terrifying for a hot second).
Anakin had been furious; he'd had dreams of his mother dying for weeks, and blamed first Obi-Wan and then the Jedi High Council for not allowing him to go to Tatooine sooner.
TLWD is a soulmates fanfic where things are slightly different from the canon because of characters' connections. This is from Padme's perspective, watching Anakin fall apart in the lead into the Clone Wars; Padme and Obi-Wan are platonic soulmates, and while this does improve communication, it doesn't prevent tragedy.
Luke had often shared dreams with Leia, and sometimes they could be weird or funny, but when they were five, they shared a particularly bad one which woke them both up in tears.
Padme survives and forces the issue of letting the twins grow up together, at least for a few years. They both get trained, and have a close bond by the time they grow too strong for Obi-Wan and Jocasta to conceal them together.
Lando had been fun, while it lasted, but… the guy had dreams, dreams which had never meshed well with Han's.
I threw a little Solorissian in the past to ramp up the drama. They tried to increase tensions in Solo without queerbaiting, but lemme tell you guys, it just comes off like Han's an obnoxious prick who enjoys pissing Lando off, and it doesn't mesh at all with their relationship in ESB. So I threw Solo out of this story's canon and brought back the history they had in Legends content.

I keep seeing fandoms and shows and stuff that have initials as tags that have something like "twgd" or "tlwd" and I don't know what it stands for, so I read it as *the who guy didn't" or "the like who didn't" because I'm used to seeing the letters "tgwdlm" as "the guy who didn't like musicals"

I just read TLWD and I’m so excited for Harry and Reg’s relationship and how it’ll impact the plot like omg, I am bursting with questions - none of which you have to answer lmao i’m just rambling. but, like, is Harry’s Patronus still a stag? Does he still see Lily and James in the Mirror? AND Sirius! How the hell will that relationship work? and then there’s the whole romance with Voldemort and Reg. Like shit. How is that gonna go down with Harry? ahhh thank you so much for writing it!

I haven't put too much thought into some of the things you're asking about, but I'll tentatively say:
Harry's patronus won't be a stag
He won't see Lily and James in the mirror, or not just them, his greatest desire might end up being some amalgamation of Regulus and his parents all raising him; or something purely relating to Regulus being happy / proud of him / old and grey and holding Harry's imaginary future children and being a grandpa
Sirius and Harry's relationship is actually going to be a real mess for a long time since Sirius' introduction and reveal to Harry comes at a bad time, and Harry is firmly on Team Regulus - so any fight between Sirius and Regulus (of which there will probably be many) puts Harry and Sirius back several steps
As for Regulus and Riddle, Harry doesn't approve of it until he, personally, thinks that Riddle is good enough for his adopted dad - the romance will very much be on the backburner for a long time, since it takes a while for Regulus and Riddle to stop trying to murder each other; but Harry is the only one to not judge Regulus when things start taking that turn because he just wants him to be safe and happy, and if Riddle can accomplish that then Harry will refrain from biting the man whenever they see each other.

The Lines We Draw and Agents of Change are pretty much tied there, because they're both fairly niche and don't get as much attention as my other stuff. TLWD is an AU of the OT but what if everyone had a soulmate (some romantic, others platonic) while AoC is a complete rewrite of The Force Awakens but like... if the creators hadn't done everything they could to erase the PT and TCW from the content (I need to get around to the sequels for that, it's been a rough couple years).

Well, obviously ASOIAF. I put all my other fandoms on the backburner so I could try to focus. Literal essays of research and pages and pages of outlining has to say something for how much I enjoy delving into this fandom. I did write a little for other fandoms here and there, though, just not nearly as much.
