Obsessed with Lloyd never mentioning his grandfather is the First Spinjitsu Master, apparently to the point even Arin didn't seem to know, because "eh, it never came up". Cause like, yeah, sure, my grandfather is God, what of it? Normal day for me. Shit happens. My dad is also evil, you wanna talk about that? I sure don't.

It's also funny from a character arc perspective. Here's itty bitty baby first season Lloyd, loudly proclaiming he's the son of Garmadon, and probably also making sure everyone knows he's God part 3 electric boogaloo. And then one Tomorrow's Tea and a few more years later and he's doing everything physically possible to NOT care about his heritage. In fact he'd probably rather his parentage was literally anyone else. Dude could care so less he forgets about it most of the time. King behavior.

Bookselling sounds fun and whimsical but what they don't tell you is it's basically the nerd-ass version of hauling bricks all day. And in between hauling all those expensive verbose bricks you gotta do customer service

one thing i noticed looking back at the start of trimax volume 12... we get that whole sequence where Vash is standing at the precipice & thinking about his past

i'd like to draw attention to This bit:

i didnt notice it when i first read it, but... that sleeve bit there? he's holding his arm. we don't get to see what he's actually thinking, but he's holding the bicep of his left arm - the arm he lost. considering he's standing in wait of Knives for their final battle, he's clearly remembering the time he lost it. to Knives.

he proceeds to think through the mistakes he's made and the people he's met... but something noteworthy that I find really interesting is that anime-only characters are present in the lineup.

it's the sheriff lady and the rich dude from 98 episode 2

the plant engineer from Lost July, episode 6

the fake Vash the Stampede & Frank Marlon (not the other Marlon we meet in the manga, who's his grandson) from episode 3

the boomerang guy (who is in the manga Technically, though we didnt see vash meet him) & the blonde gunman from episode 1. and the dancing girl & her guy friend from episode 11.

all "filler", supposedly, but Vash knows them. the implication of this being that Vash has had some amount of those adventures even in the manga (though the different Marlons makes that part a little more muddied - maybe he knew Frank Marlon in a similar way to the anime, though the girls couldn't have been there in this version if he's the current Marlon's grandfather).

The two he arguably holds dearest in his heart, and the two whose losses hurt him the most. He remembers Rem as she was, smiling lovingly down at him. He remembers Wolfwood as he left him. Just a grave.

Their memory calms him. He's thinking of the reasons he's fighting, and they're the most important ones.

Bolstered by the memories of the people he loves and the mistakes he's made, he's ready to face his fate.

Katale and Rudyard but as little crime babies. Since he's known her for a while and just thought she looked like a little street thug despite being higher ranking than him in the crime organization at first, the cat-ear hairstyle was just A Thing for her. And it spawned the nickname he would use in private of "Kitty" and even when she grows her hair out and he grays even more he still calls her Kitty in private. They're literally just bffs who do crime and what more can you want of them??

*sits up in the middle of the night* in this next universe where vampires seem to have taken over the world, marceline probably either never met simon or he died soon after they met, which means that since her mom also died when she was really young (too young to remember a lot about her i bet), she most likely raised herself completely alone through the apocalypse and never really learned about Morals which is how after getting bitten she joined the vampires and, became evil i guess. we see that even with simons good influence in her formative years she went through a rough path after getting bitten so it would make sense that shed turn out nasty if it wasnt for him. she is part demon. we just saw an universe where simon lost marcy and was fucked up and now we're gonna see one where marcy lost simon and became fucked up

It still blows my mind that no body wants to own movies or CDs. Like I don't like not owning any movies or shows I like and wanna rewatch. Maybe I sound like a boomer but I'm not planning on paying for Netflix for the rest of my damn life just for this one movie I love that their hosting. Imma go on the internet and get the DVD.

We really shouldn't allow these streaming services to kill DVDs and CDs. We should not let them kill physical media. They want you to not have a physical copy, so that when you stop paying, you don't have access to the product your paying for. Buy more CDs. Buy more DVDs. Buy a damn VCR. I mean shit, a fucking Xbox or playstation can play any DVD, blue ray or not. Your car has a radio for a reason.

Don't let them kill physical media. Because if or when the cards fall, you'll be left with nothing.

#okay i did draw stuff that didnt involve the hedgehog characters i promise i was just picking my favorites/what i thought was the best #from each month and realized i kept picking stuff with sonic and/or shadow in it #so i decided i would make all of them have at least one hedgehog character because the pattern was funny to me #anyway kind of disappointed with how little i drew this year ive been struggling with motivation to do art for a while now #but . i did get at least one or two finished drawings for each month.#and i also managed to do artfight even if i did less art for that than ive done in the past #whihc are still accomplishments i think. considering how ive been feeling #also i didnt get to do one of these last year because my laptop decided to stop working around december #and i did get a new one soon after. but i wasnt able to get access to the stuff on my old one until a little while into the year #and at that point it felt like the moment had passed and it would be awkward to post the art summary thing . so i just didnt #so . yay i get to do it this time #if this picture is making you notice how inconsistent the way i draw werehog sonic is no it isnt
