I just think this is the funnier chunk.#Lan Wangji absolutely is the kind of person who has a perfect internal alarm clock for when it is time to get up.#He already has a dedicated sleep schedule. He is accurate within 10 seconds of 5am every day.#I think the Jiang disciples are most likely used to waking up around 6:00-7:00am #But the allure of having a guaranteed time keeper getting you up in the morning is worth the earlier hour.#I imagine they started outside lwj's door and slowly moved closer as the weeks went on.#Now LWJ has to cope with being way too warm in the night from all the extra body heat.#LWJ is not a fan of this but they scamper off immediately after he wakes up and they at least show initiative to follow routine.#NHS joins in only because he is a chronically heavy sleeper and needs this level of intervention to get up early.#His boldness would be a death sentence in the cloud recesses but here? Whole new game.#Yungmeng Jiang isn't a lawless land. It's just a land with different laws.#And one of those laws is to forcefully domesticate the catboy coded Lan boy through any means necessary.#Completely different tangent: I drew the thumbnail for this before I did comic 134. I then realized they had the same visual gag.#So I had to space this one out so it didn't seem like I repeated the waking up joke. thinking about Chuuya getting an orange cat with a temperament similar to his— eg. it always hisses when Chuuya tries to cuddle with it but at night, when Chuuya's asleep, it goes and curls up next to him in bed ╥﹏╥

once Chuuya came home later than usual (bc work held him back), only to find his cat sitting at the front door extremely angry and Chuuya thought it was bc his cat was hungry but actually it was just worried and upset that its owner hadn't come home yet wahhh

also sometimes Chuuya brings his paperwork home and works really late into the night bc he wants to get it all done (especially if he's going away for a mission) and the moment he yawns his cat will jump onto the desk and flick off the light switch, sitting on his paperwork until he caves and goes to bed

Thor should be prone to colds and have no ability to keep himself dry when he causes a storm.

(and start sneezing once the battle is over)#Loki carrying extra towel cloths to dry Thor’s hair #because Thor is able to chase storms and yell and jump around but he can’t control much beyond a little wind and sometimes lightning timing #which means Thor goes through gruesome bloody battle and comes out of it with mud all over and his hair sopping wet #and everyone knows he’s going to be sick the next day #but they still may as well dry his hair and try to warm him up hoping it’ll stave the worst of it off #give Thor low immunity woes from constantly getting sick from the rain #his own powers are doing him in one runny nose and fever at a time #Loki and Thor share a blanket after because it’s warmer than separating #Thor loves it even though he starts feeling unwell the hours after the grand fights

Sometimes I remember that my whole house was so obsessed with the show Merlin, that we named the first tree we planted in the yard Merlin.

When it was given to us 11 years ago it was hardly a scraggly stick, and now it looks like a giant bush

okay so now that i’ve officially finished watching leverage i just want to say that maybe i’m obsessed with this show on multiple levels and something about how it hits so many itches in that it’s about found family and it’s about fucking over bad, rich guys (no billionaire bootlicking in this show! and i fucking love it) and it’s also about how sometimes the bad guys are the only good guys you get and it’s also about how we are all stronger together it’s about how at the start of this show, we have all of these characters who are largely used to working alone and being alone and yet the show concludes that ultimately, we are better when we are together and by being together, we might be able to leave something behind that is bigger and brighter for the next people in our generation and no man is an island and no person is meant to beat goliath on their own or whatever

#caroline talks #leverage #not to be like. emotional but.#i am emotional actually!#i'm just. i get emotional thinking about all of the characters #and just how complex they are #nate with his alcoholism and his rage against the world and how he's arrogant and angry and sad and yet i think he cares so much #he cares so much about his team even if he can be a bit of an ass #sophie who adopts a million personas at the blink of an eye and yet has her own loneliness about who actually knows her #parker who keeps herself closed off bc y'know trauma in the foster care system and yet she learns to express herself and trust people #eliot who resigns himself into thinking that he's a monster and yet he starts to do some good and just. winds up protecting everyone in his #new family which. MAN i can't express enough how much that storyline means to me too #like when is a monster not a monster? / oh when you love it or whatever #and then there's hardison who's so incredibly bright and warm and can talk his way out of most situations #and then he hits a wall when all that brightness and wit and intelligence still might not get him out of a scary situation #and that's. that's when he needs people too. that's when he needs his team #and like. there are so many important points in this show #but like one of the ones i like to think about.#is just like. that you could be incredibly good at whatever it is you do #but you need people. you need a team. you need to trust others and together you can do amazing things #individually they're great #but together they're unstoppable and i think about that a lot #no man is an island and it takes a village or whatever!#also unrelated but i also find it a little funny (i'm sorry) that i finished leverage literally the night the implosion news came out

Just ran out of room lol #The last puff of steam off the WOY thoughts this time around - I got Extremely inspired as a last hurrah!#I saw something that made me mad (lol) and it fired me up!#Unfortunately I wasn't warmed up yet and my whole intention was to just Draw #I didn't just want the shapes I already knew! I didn't want to fall in line with expectation! Had to work my way up and you can see a bit :3 #Don't look too hard at the margin doodles yet hehe #But yeah I started kinda cautious and familiar - no sketch-touching and familiar lines and then quickly got sick of that #It's Doodle Time! Scribbles! Messy art! Creation!#So that quickly turned over into sketches that overlapped and shapes that were a bit more out there and fun #In the end the only one with odd shapes ended up being Peepers lol - even the first my-style was a little too samey #Looks a lot like an artist I like who also liked WOY lol - not my intention! /I/ want to make!#But that second to last of him turned out cool I think >:3c He deserves some cool sometimes!#Awesome is actually quite hard for me to stylize! Liam is, at first, completely horrified, right? like, oh, dear heavens, he just punched someone! that's not very holy of him! ...but also, Theo is a demon... surely he's just... acting within his angelic duties... to thwart demon wiles... yeah...?

and Theo cannot decide whether to laugh his ass off because he just got an angel to punch someone or start panicking that maybe he's pushed Liam too far and he'll be discoperated or smth. which ofc he won't be bc Liam (as much as he loath to admit it) does not hate Theo, but they are not at the stage in which Theo is certain of that!!

but once Theo gets him back it (dreadfully, in Liam's opinion, and cruelly giddily in Theo's) becomes a Thing.

#oh yeah that's right Liam threw the first punch #Theo talked big game but never actually put his hands on the angel for fear of being smited(? smut? smitten.)#Liam? Liam tried very very hard to talk no game and then came out swinging (literally)#and Theo was absolutely overjoyed to take advantage of that #they both have caused their fair share of bloody noses #only one has to hide it and the other gets to revel in tempting an angel to such a petty violence #at first it starts off as Theo egging Liam into fights so he can sock the stupid angel #but when Liam starts getting attention from Upstairs after a few centuries of this back and forth they've got going on #Theo quickly tries to spin it into something positive for the both of them (thinking of 6x16. you are too. we all are)#forces him to realize he in fact does not want to lose his only... whatever Liam is to him #I think Liam would warm up to Theo first even if he will not say it #Liam fell first Theo fell harder blah blah blah such and such and the likes #being creative is exhausting sheeesh can someone make my au for me LOL #anyways this was another exercise in “I wanted to draw this but the drawing was refusing to happen so here it is in words instead”#thiam #theo raeken #liam dunbar #teen wolf #good omens #so sorry go people but I need to find this later and it IS a go crossover au so...
