There was a particular reason for it
It just kind of happened that way
Now you two met again around season two which made Yugi ecstatic
Yami was cool with you relatively

The moment he fell in love with you though
Some random person tried to steal his deck from his belt so you chased after them and not only did you get his deck back but you beat the hell out of them and got them to apologize to Yugi
His heart bursted out of his heart after seeing how much you care about him
He was smitten
He was definitely not the one who asked you out
He got to scared every time he tried because he knew if you didn’t like him back you wouldn’t be super nice about it lmao
It was you who asked him out
But it wasn’t anything to fancy
You came up to Yugi at the end of school and offered to walk home with him
Which he said yes of course
When you finally got to his house you told asked him to go on a date with you
Bro almost bursted into tears
In a relationship he is the sweetest boy alive
He definitely has scary dog privileges
You come to every one of his duels because while you don’t play, you care about his interests
You always come with him on his little journeys with his friends
Then you were forced to play which you hated but won really easily even though you knew nothing
He likes physical touch with if you like it as well he’ll cuddle up to you at night and fall asleep
He always buys you food too
He is ok with the causal pda like holding hands but doesn’t want to attract attention so anything subtle he’s ok with
And quick pecks on the cheek
He tells you he loves you every night even if he doesn’t expect you to say it back
Bought matching necklaces for you to wear for Christmas
Expect him to make you breakfast whenever he can even though he is a terrible chef and you end up going to a cafe
He’ll stand up to anyone that’s rude to you and when they start to try and get physical you pretty much appear out of thin air and step in which he doesn’t like because he wants to stand up to your bullies
“Hey you don’t get to say anything about them!”
“Who the hell are you? Their plaything?”
“No! I’m their boyfriend! You don’t get to talk about them that way!”
“Why? You have a problem with it, punk?”

You two met pretty randomly
You came up to him while he was at the arcade with his friends and you kissed him
He heard a couple Oohs but he was more concerned on who you are and why you’re kissing him
Once you broke the kiss you just walked away leaving him baffled at the situation
He followed after you and demanded to know why you kissed him
He doesn’t know what he expected but the answer ‘it was a dare’ was not definitely not what he thought
It made him disappointed ngl
He let out a little oh and then let you walk away
He thought about you ever since that day
Then he met you again
He came up to you while you were sitting at a cafe reading a book and sat down right across from you
He expected you to remember him but alas you didn’t lmfao
But even though you didn’t remember him you still offered him food and didn’t insist on him leaving
Honestly it was a little concerning considering the fact you thought he was a stranger
Somehow through all of this you guys became friends
Whenever he is in Domino City and not on his little journeys he goes out to a cafe with you
He tries to do this every Saturday but it doesn’t always work out with both of your schedules
You and Yami had the slowest slow burn known to man
He didn’t realize he was in love with you for a while
Until he saw you kissing someone else
He was so confused at what he was feeling that he went back home and just sat oh his bed
He asked Yugi about it and he was the one that made Yami realize he was in love with you
He wasn’t a big fan of the feeling
He tried to avoid you as much a possible but that did last to long
You cornered him into an alleyway and made him explain his behavior
And while he tried to lie… he isn’t a good liar
When he was trying to play cool you kissed him and he quickly forgot about everything and kissed back
During the little make out session you asked him to date you causing him to stop
He told you about seeing you kiss someone else and didn’t want to be in a relationship with someone who likes someone else
Then you had to explain how the guy kissed you and it would never happen again because you had your eyes set on Yami since the first day you met him
He believed you and became your boyfriend
He is much more closed off and private about pretty much everything to do with you
His friends didn’t even know about you until Yugi told them how Yami is dating someone
He doesn’t say it out loud that he loves you or engage in to much physical affection but he does always bring and buy you stuff
Anything he sees that he think you’ll like he’ll buy
Unlike Yugi, when he makes you food he doesn’t mess it up
Honestly probably the best food you’ll ever have in your life
It’s usually for special occasions only
When you two do cuddle it’s mostly in bed with you both about to go to sleep and spooning each other with you as the big spoon and him as the little one
Every new place he goes to he brings something back for you if you don’t want to go along
He invites you to every one of his matches
He is very quiet and reserved speaking wise but you can usually tell what he’s thinking based off his body language
Will watch anything you want with you while eating popcorn and other unhealthy food
He also got you this really expensive ring for Christmas
“Yami… you shouldn’t have.”
“I wanted you to know how much you mean to me.”
“I know but this! This is so…”
“Lovely? I don’t understand do you not want it? I can get you another if you would like.”
“No Yami. It’s just so expensive looking I mean have you looked at me? It’ll be like a shining red ferrari in a haystack.”
“Do you not like it?”
“No. It’s gorgeous, but you’re going to be really disappointed with what I got you.”
“Anything you get me I will treasure with my life.”
“Thanks Yami, but just know it’s not a expensive ass ring.”

Joey Wheeler
This man fell for you the moment he met you… literally.
It what gots your attention so he’s not really complaining
He honestly thought whenever you two would meet you were flirting with him but in reality you were being normal
He would always flirt back which you noticed but decided on not saying anything
While he had a ‘flirty’ relationship with you and like you he didn’t love you
Until you and him went to the arcade-
You were competing against him in one of the games and when you won you let out a deep laugh making him start to laugh as well
It made him realize how much he enjoys you and he wants to be with you forever
You’re the person that makes him happy after all
As soon as he realized that he asked you out which you replied with a short yes and told him you’re going to be at one of the shooting games
He honestly didn’t know if he should be happy or sad
I mean you said yes but then you acted like him asking you out wasn’t a big deal
When he confronted you on it probably more angry than he needed you just told him you knew he liked you and expected it
He got a little bit embarrassed over that
When you two start dating he’s really sweet and dresses to impress but as time goes on he becomes the type of boyfriend that will come into your home grab your chips and watch tv with you with his stained shirt and sweatpants
Not that your complaining
He always buys you gifts when he can but he’s kind of broke so there definitely a little bit trashy
He’s usually staying at your house at night and will sleep in holding onto you tight so when you wake up you can’t go anywhere
He’s a very cuddly person and always wants your arm wrapped around him whenever and wherever
He introduced you to his sister a moth or so after you two started dating and it was safe to say she loved you
Even if she didn’t understand you
He’s also nervous that you’ll leave him for someone else so he gets jealous really quickly
If you are involved in sports like football or soccer or wrestling he’ll be cheering you on from the sides yelling something like ‘WOOOOO IM DATING THE ONE IN WHITE YEAH BABE YOU GO’ ‘Joey they’re all in white…’ ‘YUGI SHUSH’
Whenever he’s dueling the thing that keeps him going is you

He will honestly cheer you on if you decided to beat someone up

You two got off to a bad start
He was working at a cafe when you came close and tripped spilling your coffee over him and his computer
You were dared by Mokuba even though you had no idea who either of them were
Since you were pretty much broke and couldn’t afford to pay for the stuff (which was over $7000) he just hired you instead
That honestly did not help
You just kept bugging him and asking him questions about the job
The only reason he didn’t fire you immediately is because he thought you were suffering while working for him (even though you were having a great time and he was the one suffering)
It was unexpected to fall in love with you
You were walking home when you saw a couple boys surrounding Mokuba
When you saw one of the boys hit him you stepped in scaring the kids off
You saw that Mokuba had a bruise forming on his check and his clothes were ripped
Since your house was so close you just took him home to get him fixed up and gave him some clothes that were to big for him so he ended up looking like Jesse Pinkman
You called Seto and when he answered he was a little agitated because Mokuba was no where to be found and he thought you would be asking about how to work the printer again
But when you told him how you had Mokuba all the agitation in his voice decimated
He let a soft that I you a hanged up only 5 minutes later he showed up at your door even though you never told him your address
When he saw you he just got this feeling that he couldn’t explain
It wasn’t until you asked him if he wanted to get coffee did he realize what he was feeling
He wouldn’t be surprised if he had hearts in his eyes for you
He told you he liked you a day later and you two started dating
The beginning of the relationship was a little awkward because of how little both of talk
It helped that you understood Seto’s schedule so you ok with him coming home really late in the night
He buys you a lot of things that you probably don’t need
You always watch over Mokuba instead of the guards when he can’t
When he does come home on time he always leaves super early in the morning
Whenever he comes home late he always climbs into bed with you
“Seto?”
“Did I wake you? I’m sorry go back to bed.”
“It’s fine. I was waiting for you but I got tired.”
“I can see that.”
“Mokuba is asleep in the other room.”
“I’ll bring him home in the morning.”
“He can stay I don’t mind.”
“We’ll talk more about this in the morning.”

sometimes i completely forget that holly exists. i really hope we see a little bit of her in season 5, like mike having a big brother moment or something like that since she could potentially be in danger. i also NEED nancy and mike to have a bonding moment. i genuinely forget they are siblings sometimes. i would honestly love if we got something of them that’s paralleled to jonathan’s and wills conversation at the pizza place. like—nancy telling mike she’s always there for him and he could tell her anything despite them not being really close. i think mike wouldn’t get as emotional as will and would become more defensive, but would recognize that nancy cares. I NEED THIS TO HAPPEN.
i'd love to see mike have a big brother moment with holly! i kind of forget about her sometimes too and then i'll have a realization of "oh yeah, mike's an older brother but we never see that dynamic" which is kinda sad
but if i had to choose one - i would much rather see a mike and nancy bonding moment over a scene with mike and holly. i kind of doubt we'll get a scene that parallels will's conversation with jonathan because that conversation was a parallel to mike and his mom plus that's just... not the wheeler sibling dynamic
it's more likely that we'll get a parallel to his and nancy's conversation in s1 when he asks her if she's dating jonathan now and she asks if he likes eleven to which he gets defensive and grossed out lmfao. it might be a conversation where mike asks nancy about her own romantic situation (whether it eludes to jon or steve i'm not sure) and she'll ask him about el or will. bonus points though if she says something like, "so... you and will?" and mike completely panics and gets defensive about it

but if they go the bi Mike route, I wouldn't mind at all, but if that's the case, I hope they play it out like this post:
actually, even the gay Mike route would be nice to unfold in this way- both of them feel guilty, they're in the same position, and then they finally communicate properly, and they're pleased to find out that they're not alone, and that maybe, if they don't feel anything for eachother, they're probably just not meant to be together
and maybe Eleven talks to him about Will and his painting, and there's a big realization moment for Mike, where he's like, "oh shit- I'm dumb" LMAOO
but that's one of my theories for the van scene
remember how oblivious he was?
and remember how Finn said that, "it would pay off" ?
well, the only way oblivious Mike would "pay off", now that I think of it, is if he wasn't actually oblivious and just too scared to come to terms with his feelings, or maybe his head was just running with thoughts about, "does this mean he likes me?" but he was just too scared to be wrong
but the thing is, Mike's character is literally set up as "totally oblivious" (according to Dustin) SINCE SEASON 1
so how would this pay off?
because as I said in this post:
Mike's expressions, movements, and even breathing are of someone who is understanding what Will is saying
how would a straight man, understand what a queer man is saying (but using the straight man's girlfriend as a cover) lmfao that makes no sense right?
but then again, Finn says Mike would be better off if he just opened his ears and listened
I think Mike has been too focused on himself being queer, and his internal struggles, that he hasn't even realized how obvious his friends struggles are
we see him in that last scene, before Will cries, he smiles (it looks fake for once) and nods, and then we see him look at the painting for like a full 2 minutes
just as Will said to Mike about El's letter, the painting isn't gonna magically change into the answer you're looking for, Mike
I think in this scene, despite Mike being an oblivious character, I think he was piecing things together (Mike's character is very good at that), and he was so focused on the millions of thoughts in his head that was he couldn't think straight and help his friend out, because he was genuinely having his own internal battle
what I would kill to see an unblurred version of his face when Will is crying, because we see him look directly at Will, like?
and then he looks back at the picture
he's thinking about something, clearly
because when Will says to Mike "El told me what to draw. She commissioned it, basically."
his smile drops
and listen, at this point, we know Mike doesn't love El
but it's still Will's painting, you'd think he would still be slightly happy?
but I think in this scene, he has a moment of realization, he remembered El's letter
or maybe he was like, "wait, why do I remember something else in El's letter?"
and he was just trying so hard to remember El's letter and peice together the full story
and maybe he did
maybe he didn't
but all I'm saying is, it looks like Mike is going through all emotions in the span of a few minutes
he's happy
he's neutral
he's confused (miketober flashbacks)
his breath hitches
he's happy again
he looks like he's in love
he's sad
he's confused and happy
he's trying to be happy?
I think this is what Finn meant when he said that scene was really hardest to film, because god, imagine how many different expressions he had to make? and how he had to act oblivious? and how the lighting had to be perfect? they said they used up a whole day to shoot just that one scene, like, hello???

Anyway Buffy and Cordelia get drugged! Horrifying!
Damn Giles let Buffy have fun she's fucking 17 and facing death every day
Kind of love Cordelia and Buffy sort of starting a friendship
Is the snake like. A metaphor for dick. Like the club is dangerous because you'll get drugged and then men will take advantage of you with the "snake"?
Especially since its university age men trying to date high schoolers like freaks

why jay/leia is the intended endgame: an unnecessarily long post
the very obvious answer to this is the whole legacy argument. who didn't know when the character descriptions dropped that those two would be a couple just for the whole "haha the kelsos are still driving the forman women crazy" joke? (which they haven't even made yet, which also makes me think we have in no way seen the last of them. we are DEFINITELY getting an eric freakout) kelso was a joke character nearly his entire stint on t70s. they never portrayed him as a good bf or caring ab . . . well anything other than sex, and then eventually betsy (trans!jay kelso theory?). jay, however, they make a big point of showing/saying that he is not like his dad. there is an entire episode dedicated to red realizing that jay is a good boy and that is not kelso just bc he is a kelso.
this is the jay defining moment for me. i think if they had cast a lesser actor than mace this could've come off as 'haha jay trying to get into leia's pants' but mace delivered it so genuinely and sincerely that it is very clear to me that leia is not going to be someone that jay gets over easily. he's this "reformed playboy," yet we never see him be anything less than a gentleman to leia. i am pointing out this line in particular bc of it's OBVIOUS parallel to eric saying that he needed to go to africa so that he can deserve donna.
i have trauma from the gmw fandom debating to death who the corpanga was supposed to be (as if that was a good thing lmfao) but there is literally no debate that jay/leia is the new donna/eric. jay is the cool hot love interest who centers the neurotic dorky protagonist. plus, i mean, the car scene within the first three episodes? be so serious here.
the show spent sooooo much time on jay and it would be so weird to me if they suddenly were just like "actually nate is the male lead now!" i think he probably got the least amount of screentime of any of the kids.
i know the showrunner came out and said leia needed to find a ~deep connection not built on lust~ and that's where nate came in. i do agree with that to an extent, but nate/leia is clearly just to throw off the viewers. also, nate is the kelso archetype more than jay is, lbr. (i could do an entirely separate blog post on that). yes, nate and leia connected. they were able to confide in each other about their relationship issues. does that mean there's romantic chemistry there? no. it just means that they were there for each other in an important moment.
is a big proponent of leia/jay's relationship built on lust? i would argue moreso on leia's side than jay's, but also, leia didn't like jay bc of his looks. she liked him because he made her feel special and treated her with respect. she liked the kind, sensitive part of him. it was only once they had that moment where she began to ~lust after him. and for anyone to argue that jay's feelings for leia are lust related is fucking stupid because
like jay could get any girl he wants canonically. he likes leia for leia. he likes her for all of her little quirks and flaws. plus there is ANOTHER episode dedicated to her feeling she needs to put out and him saying he only wants what she is comfortable with. c'mon man.
this is not some lust related fling that was built on nothing but mutual attraction. i'm not gonna act like their convos ever get super deep or anything (mainly because we only got ten episodes in season one), but nate/leia rly didn't either. like. they were both just upset about jay and nikki. and then they almost kissed.
are nate and leia probably going to be a focus in season two? oh, for sure. but the obvious endgame is jay and leia.
like be so for real.

Oooogh, more tensions in the cabin over the supernatural vs. rationality split. It’s important to note that Lottie is very uncomfortable at being thrust into the fore by Mari. This is also the first time that Shauna verbally stakes her claim in the skeptics side. God, poor Lottie—she doesn’t want this.
Nat being really gentle with Lisa and trying to help her see through some of the compound’s bullshit. Ugh, it reminds me of that moment last season when she coached Kevyn’s kid during his game. I love her.
Lottie at the therapist/psychiatrist’s(?) office. The way she so nervously plays with her fingers. The slight crack in her voice. The tears in her eyes. God, I’m so fucking unwell.
“Lottie doesn’t need a gun.” Mari, shut up. 😭
Both adult Lottie and teen Lottie being utterly unmoored the way they are in this episode is horribly sad. As of right now, some of the girls are looking to teen Lottie for guidance, while adult Lottie is desperately wanting something to ground her.

And she’s so hurt for her mom. She’s one of the few people who has identified that Shauna is hurting. I’m sick.

Objectively, Jeff is right—making Callie an accomplice is harrowing. But what’s happening in the subtext is that Callie wants to desperately to connect with her parents, her mom especially, and vice fucking versa!! So it’s fucked up that it’s happening this way, and it’s fucked up that Shauna sounded more like a teenager in that conversation by the car, and it’s fucked up that Callie is so accepting, but that is the literal point here. This family was founded upon deep and unspeakable trauma, and they have to continually grapple with that.

this is the fastest i’ve ever gotten into something and also the fastest i’ve quit being into it lmfao but i am thankful for the leaks because at least i can process how truly awful that finale is before it airs. i would have been CRUSHED if i watched that with no warning. whoever leaked it really saved my soul bc now i don’t have to watch adrien say he doesn’t know how he’s ever gonna compare to his fucking awful abusive father. fuck whoever came up with those lines btw
i get that adrien’s supposed to be the princess, the damsel in distress, and he needs ladybug/marinette to rescue him all the time blah blah, whatever but my god at least let him be there for it??

if the audience is supposed to sympathize with gabriel bc he sacrificed himself so his son wouldn’t be left alone bc of the choices HE made, what’s wrong with adrien knowing both the bad and the good?? if the audience can feel bad for gabriel, apparently only a misguided family man, newly appointed father of the year™️ , why can’t adrien?? let him be conflicted about how his father terrorized a whole city for months bc he was unable to let the past go but also gave his life in the end to solve the mess HE made?? let him be sad and but also thankful that he isn’t gonna be alone and then guilty for feeling like that?? oh wait, if adrien has problems of his own then he can’t be marinette’s perfect sweet boyfriend anymore. my bad, how could i think adrien gets to have any worries and problems apart from trying and failing at being worthy of marinette’s love. adrien standing up for himself? NO! why would he want to do anything for himself when marinette is right there being so amazing and he can just make his whole world, dreams and motivations revolve around her. 🙄🙄🙄
now this finale wouldn’t suck so much if at least there was a cliffhanger of ladybug telling chat noir what really happened, bc that would mean they intended to give the lies and secrecy of the finale a purpose in s6. cause i get why she isn’t telling adrien (like where would she even start lmfao) but why does chat noir not get to know who he fought against for months?? but this not happening makes me think they had no plans for it to be brought up in s6 at all when they wrote that script and it’s truly the end they thought the agreste arc deserved lmao i would love to be wrong but i’m not feeling hopeful.
the best (worst) part?!?! adrien not finding out his father is monarch is only one of the two enormous life changing secrets he doesn’t get to find out this season. however, i have a feeling his being a sentibeing will be brought up again and he’ll find out eventually but only after he’s been mind controlled some more since his mom, his pseudo-mom, his twin cousin and his gf don’t think it’s necessary to warn him about the importance of those rings. everyone and their mamas gonna be using those rings next season methinks lmfao
anyways fuck this show and i feel sorry for every adrien fan out there that is choosing to remain leakfree and expecting adrien to do anything in the final fight against his abusive father and literal supervillain enemy lmfao you’d think either those would give him a key role in the monarch takedown but uh why would it when marinette can do everything by herself and way better than he ever could. he’ll just take a nap instead.

this is my moment 🙏 aka just me rambling to myself @gallavichmeta
1. When do you think the first time was that one wore the others clothes? And what feelings did they have about it?
I’m looking through gifs and it seems like the earliest occurence is during 2x01/3x11 with this grey hoodie? and my only interpretation of this is that sometime during the s2 summer, Ian left it at the dugouts after they fucked. and Mickey saw it in the corner of his closet since he also forgot to give it back, and naturally was drawn to it without realizing it’s Ian’s to help him cope with how sad he was :/
2. Mickey is the youngest brother in his family and Ian is the middle brother in his family. What feelings do they have about hand-me-down clothing?
Mickey didn’t care at all cause that’s the way life was for him in Terry’s household, sadly.
Well canonically Ian was tired of living under Lip’s shadow and he’s his only older brother, so naturally some of his clothes are his hand-me-downs. You can also see that in the show. I think that Ian didn’t rly mind this particularly, just shows how close he is with Lip y’know? and they have different styles but so similar at the same time esp Lip’s is more nerdy
3. Do you think either of them have a favourite outfit or item of clothing?
Oh I know Mickey fucking LOVES his black boat neck sleeveless tank. mans wears it all the time, like if he was in a dress up game this would be his default option. I saw a cute fanart speculating that the reason why he mostly wears sleeveless clothes esp in early seasons is bc he overheard Ian saying he esp loves a r m s in men so he cut them specifically, but I feel like he felt uncomfortable and wants to stretch his arms. we all know how he’s a man of action
On the other hand Ian is obsessed with military outfits 💀 first of all bro got the ugly buzzcut. ok sure, whatever, he changes hairstyles every season anyway. but then he was wearing his rotc uniform everywhere?? cutting it into shorts for the club? and he dared mickey to wear the camo for the gig 💀💀 he literally has a kink for it and it’s embarrassing i’m sorry. tho I’m a hypocrite cause he does look good in it, but when does he not? if a watch counts as an item of clothing tho I’m gonna say that instead
4. Do you think either of them have a least favourite item of clothing?
Can I say Mickey’s first wedding suit? Because he was yanking the bowtie when he came out of the dressing room and the whole thing was both literally and metaphorically was suffocating him. which was why it was so meaningful for him to get to choose his white suit (and other stuff in his second wedding), even if he had to straight-up take his and Ian’s by force ASDKFJL
Ian telling Mandy he didn’t want to starve himself to fit that golden thong was so :((( I think he also greatly regrets his job at the club, so all memories involving it are prob bad for him. rly wished the show didn’t just brush how he felt under the rug
5. What do you think their personal style says about them?
Well Mickey’s style screams thug (not necessarily king of the southside) that’s for sure
Ian’s fashion sense is very wack lmfao. I think it just means that he’s a silly goofy boy! Someone said "every cis gay millenial dude owns this shirt" under a gifset of his raglans 😭
6. What items of clothing hold most significance for them?
Didn’t Mickey personally say in 11x05 that he “loves this shirt” in response to the black shirt he was wearing, and the whole fandom agreed that it’s the same one that Ian wore to Mexico 🥺 MEANWHILE HE WAS WEARING THE FLANNEL?? THAT SPANS A WHOLE TIMELINE
And Ian’s EMT jacket def means a lot to him. Everytime I look at it I gain new waves of emotion so I can’t even imagine what he feels when he reminiscences during late nights TT
7. Do you think the way Mickey’s sense of style changed over time was to do with his relationship with Ian?
Yes, definitely. Says a lot that he was dirtier in the early seasons, like he never gave a fuck abt his appearance bc there were other things to focus on before Ian did. I can imagine Ian nuzzling Mickey’s shoulder during another one of their summertime fucks at the dugouts, so Mickey wanted to clean up nice for him without directly saying anything. And how overtime, he dressed more and more fashionable :D
8. Ian has worn a few different uniforms (ROTC, janitor, EMT, prisoner, fake EMT etc etc) over the course of the series, how do you think they made him feel?
I feel like the ROTC and EMT uniforms made him feel empowering, like he’s reaching his ambition of doing something with his life. Then the other ones like his stripper outfit as I’ve mentioned in 4, janitor, prison, fake EMT uniforms rly made him feel horrible. But I think he did grow to like his prison uniform after seeing Mickey in that white tank top all the time, maybe?
9. How does their emotional state affect their clothing choices?
It does, but I can’t necessarily find much apparent examples? But I like how in 3x09/ abandoned building, Mickey was wearing his sweater. I think sweaters and sadness definitely go together
10. We see Mickey wear colourful/Hawaiian shirts a couple of times, how do you think those types of clothes make him feel?
It makes him feel fun! The first time he clicks his tongue, does a little dance, and asks ian for his approval & the second time he lets out a “ooh!” He’s a cutie. I rly get emotional whenever Mickey gets to experience the little joys in life that he never rly got to express when he was younger. Then I get emotional for a different reason - he had a whole dream of laying in the sun with Ian in Mexico but he ended up doing it alone or not at all I’m fucking crying
11. Compare their first and last appearances, what do their outfits tell us about the characters?
They both dress more “maturely” in the last eps compared to the first ones :0c cargo jackets(?) !!!

I just chugged my way through both seasons of Superstition and I'm so excited for more! It was so satisfying to play a Roe that was actively pushing people away at the start, and to see that choice honored through the whole story. My Roe even sent Chris away at the beginning because he was trying to isolate himself.
Then him and Sydero develop a 'misery loves company' relationship where they both push each other away, but still care enough to put their lives on the line when it counts. As the story ramped up in season 1, it made sense that the group was still kind of distant with each other.
In season 2, it felt so good to meet Rahim who immediately called out the dysfunction of the group, but clearly had his own baggage. Then the bad guys start hammering in the idea of Roe bringing death to those around him, but nobody is having it. Even if Roe sullies up again, and tries to isolate, the group is too solid. Especially with Amari who is a literal ray of sunshine and also my Roe's best friend. Everyone is just propping each other up the best they can, because clearly nobody thinks they deserve it for themselves.
Coming clean to Amari was the most satisfying scene I've ever had the pleasure of being apart of. The description of Roe finally seeing the mask that's been built up over all this time, and watching it fall as he realizes that this group he's with is not going to give up on him. God it was so good.
And that moment after they get Syd out of hell and everyone is in the kitchen. I loved how it was paralleling the scene Roe saw in hell of all his friends being happy.
I also loved my complete disaster of a Roe trying to put the moves out on Rahim. I had to consult his approval guide a whole bunch, but it was worth it to get those soft moments where we could see Rahim's true feelings. Also the preening scene, oh my god the preening scene. Especially after Roe though that maybe one of them would die so he did the boldest thing ever and gave Rahim a forehead kiss. Man I had to pace around the room for literally 10 minutes after that.
Anyway, all of this to say that I will be replaying the game a whole bunch in anticipation for season 3. Also I have to check out some of your other work because man you're a good writer. You're characters are insanely complex and the storytelling is totally nail-biting. Thank you for sharing them with all of us.
I'm trying to stop blushing, oh shit lmfao. Um, thank you, so much. And a big, big thank you for not only sending this because I love these and I eat these up learning about how your Roe's react and what not. But also for giving the book a chance and taking time to read it. Alright, morning made lmfao. Thank you again, Anon! Can't wait to hear more about your Roe in S3.

The Sandman rewatch - episode 7
So I like to do this thing where, if I didn’t consider a show a complete waste of time and if it does have an actual arc spanning the season, I watch the season twice–once as a binge watch and then once more episode by episode, because it helps me notice things I didn’t notice at first, especially in cases like this where I’m almost entirely unfamiliar with the source material.
Anyway, any and all chronological thoughts and ramblings about episode 6 of The Sandman beneath the cut, because spoilers.
Well, we’re starting this episode off on a lovely note. Rose’s dad can get fucked for all I care.
You know you’re messed up when the anthropomorphic personification of Despair tells you that you’ve gone too far.
Oh, so the whole business with Nada was Desire’s fault too? I guess there’s one in every family…
Rose has guts going straight from “sure, I’ll pay you” to “you’re not hiring by any chance, right?”
It’s nice to see Lucienne actually being wrong about something for a change. Also, I wanna know what’s residing in Abel’s basement. lol

Lyta and Rose’s banter about the annoyance of getting asked for ID or not XDDD. Relatable.
I remember watching this episode for the first time and being very impressed by the way they had handled setup and payoff in this show, and honestly, I still am. Quick story writing lesson: setup and payoff refers to introducing a plot point/item/character etc. early in a way that doesn’t disturb the plot and immediately scream “hey this is is important—remember this!” in spite of it becoming important later. If done right, the audience will go “oh wait, it’s plot point/item/character X from that earlier scene/episode!” when they get to the important part. This show is excellent with setup and payoff. So many things that may seem like filler/fluff actually make sense later. Good job, writers!
I love how Unity was so worried Rose would just be like “you’re crazy, I’m leaving”, yet the first thing Rose does when finding out that she’s got a great-grandma is hug her. ;_;
Omg the serial killer get-together! I love how this starts out like a totally normal conversation, then they mention the Corinthian and you might think “okay, maybe they’re talking about a different Corinthian or maybe he is like… a super famous chess player or something whenever he’s not murdering people”… and then she pulls out the picture of an eyeless murder victim and calls it exquisite and your brain just screeches to a halt like “what the fuck did I just walk into?”
And I just realize where I remember Rose’s friend Carl from—he was the doppelgänger on The Witcher!

I swear to god, Hal looks exactly like one of my former co-workers. I had to look up his actor to make sure my ex-co-worker hadn’t gone to Hollywood.
Also, I adore Zelda and Chantal. Fun fact: there were exactly two sub culture groups for girls in my middle/high school (in Germany, we don’t separate those two)--you either went with the fake tan bitches, or the goth rock punks. The latter were infinitely more inclusive.
I genuinely do feel for both Rose and the foster care case worker in this scene. There’s only so much you’re allowed to do by law and it’s just an all around shitty situation for everyone.
That said, the moment she mentioned the money, I knew where this was going.
Gilbert is amazing. And so much of his demeanor makes sense once you know who he really is.

How do you imagine Martin’s and Sergio’s first meeting? Do you have any headcanons or such?
Oh man, I don't think I have one specific one because it really could have gone in so many different ways. I mostly agree with the headcanon anon has sent. But I also really like their first meeting embodying the things Sergio has said about him in season 4. A heist that both Andrés and Martín are involved in that gets overturned because of Martín's behavior, for example. Or Andrés bringing Martín to meet Sergio after or before a heist. Sergio sitting there in a hotel bar waiting for Andrés and Martín just shows up first and starts hitting on him and makes Sergio scream in his head then Andrés shows up and they just laugh about it.
Or maybe it's bit like the Tokyo recruitment scene. Where they both see something Martín has done and Andrés insists on getting him while Sergio goes "didn't...didn't you see what he did there? Zero disregard for any rule-he'd get us killed' but Andrés keeps insistenting and Sergio regrets it for the rest of his life LMFAO. Or maybe the other way around! That would be cool too. Sergio is the one who initially wants Martín for something and Andrés is tasked with meeting and getting him, and by the time they arrive to Sergio, they're already the berlermo we know. And the moment Sergio sees how well they're getting along and how alike they are, he realizes instantly that he shouldn't have done that lmfao.
Honestly, endless scenarios with these two!

poor Clare who has her writing all spread across the school but the person who insisted on publishing it for the scandal and buzz reacted poorly to her coming out
that was an interesting ending, I guess the show was showing the mundane and silly lives of people even amidst the tragedies going on in Ireland at the time
Overall:
This was pretty fun overall since I haven't watched much media focusing on Ireland nor do I know many Irish people, so it was fun to get to peek into the culture and vibe of the 1990s Ireland through this.
Also, the girls are all so different and also terrible in many ways; I do love it when characters are people I'd hate it real life and I don't think I'd be able to stand any of these people (maybe Clare, maybe James), so it's fun to see them go around wreaking havoc. My favourite characters so far are Clare and I think Michelle; also Katya even though she was only there for 1 ep

they're all voting for Yes the good Friday agreement. i suppose i should search it up
Overall:
I don't know how to feel about the ending - it was touching but certainly a different tone than the other episodes, but it still had enough of the same vibes. It was good season but I'm not yearning for more.

hello! as promised, I’m back with another monthly media mentions post! June has been a bit of a crazy month - I got another job (which I actually like - hooray!), my grandma is staying over and needs taking care of, my sister crashed the car LMFAO, and I’ve just been trying to help out around the house a bit more. unfortunately I didn’t create as much art as I wanted to - most of my time was consumed editing that damn art critique video (like literal weeks). but, this is the media that got me through a tough month! cheers to another summer ☀️

Umbrella Academy (season 3)
this show is so gd entertaining. I think I finished this season in 2 days? it was great! super fun scenes and special moments between characters. Robert Sheehan and Ritu Arya are perfect for their roles - Ritu especially is so charismatic and I hope to see her in more projects!
Street Woman Fighter
I'm not sure why I didn’t watch the episodes as they came out last year, but I’m so mad I didn’t! these ladies slay and I'm so happy that dancers have been getting more recognition through this show. I want Monica to be my mom and Lip J to be my auntie. everyone in this show is so COOL I can’t even describe how awestruck I am with them all. Aiki - give me one chance PLEASE

I've tried to watch this show a few times - with my sister, by myself, but for some reason or another did not continue watching it. I restarted it again because my lovely friend loves it and recommended I watch it - so I did :) it’s super cute and also has me missing my volleyball days >:(
Stranger Things (season 4)
I'm sure this has been on a lot of people’s watchlist - I actually wasn’t planning on watching this season, but saw the clip from that one scene in ep 4 and I changed my mind. Either this or season 3 has been the best so far, but I can’t say just yet because I’m still waiting on the second part! Sadie sink supremacy.

I didn’t like RUN2U the first time I heard it, which is why it took me some time to listen to the album. but the STAYC girls don’t disappoint. I love the guitar and the feeling of nostalgia I get when I listen to YOUNG LUV. 247 and SAME SAME have lovely vocals. RUN2U is also growing on me, but I will say I do like their other title tracks better in comparison.

The way that Bruce's fascination with Selina caused him to completely lose the plot is just...wild. Think about it - if he hadn't followed her from the apartment back to Mayor's house, and instead stayed behind to interrogate Annika (THE KEY WITNESS) on his own, he likely would have prevented her murder at the hands of Falcone and learned the identity of the rat much sooner.
But the moment he saw Selina shimmy into that catsuit, the split second it took for him to realize 'oh...she's like me', he just couldn't help himself. He had to follow her and satisfy his own personal curiosity, the case be damned.
Granted, Bruce is not exactly a seasoned detective at this point so it's possible he genuinely thought stalking Selina was the best way to follow up on his lead. But I think it's more fun to pin all his rookie mistakes on him thinking with his dick for the first time in his life, lmfao.

luke cooper x gn!reader
warnings: me being a hoe for enemies to lovers and writing over 1k words for a character with 3 mins of screen time, one mention of porn but no detail
word count: 1,284 (the fact that this is one of my longest fics LMFAO)
a/n: i kind of love writing for characters like luke with little to no screen time because there's a lot more room for imagination. anyways, lemme know what you think of this :) also, i know this episode is meant to take place at the end of summer, but we're going to pretend it's at the beginning for this
-i see your "interning with luke" and raise you "initially luke was the office's only intern, but given that he's terrible at his job and michael doesn't want to fire him, he brings on a second intern instead, and you end up getting stuck with all of the work luke fails to do, so you dislike him, but he eventually wins you over"
-go fish
-michael puts out ads for a new assistant since he can't bring himself to fire luke
-you haven't had any luck finding a summer job, so you apply for the position
-the interview goes really well, and michael tells you that you can start monday
-monday morning, erin texts you everyone's coffee orders
-you get up early so you can grab them on your way to work, and everyone's relieved to see that you didn't mess anything up
-"thank god," darryl says after taking a sip of his coffee "it's not decaf."
-andy makes a comment about you already being better than the "other assistant"
-michael had mentioned during the interview that they already had another assistant, and you were glad you had someone to split the work with
-but based off everyone's comments about him you're not so sure you're going to enjoy working with him so much anymore
-after a couple minutes luke strolls in
-late of course
-and you figure he's the other assistant you've heard such good things about
-"hey so, no one ever texted me the coffee orders, so i didn't get anything" he says
-"oh thats okay, y/n got them today" erin tells him
-"who?"
-michael comes out of his office and greets both you and luke
-"so, luke, y/n is actually our new assistant.. our, new new assistant, because, y'know, the workload was just too much for one person, i didn't want to put that pressure on you"
-"oh... cool."
-at first luke sees you being there as an excuse for him to do even less work than before
-"did you send those samples out luke?" "actually y/n was already headed to the post office anyway, so they did it instead"
-you despise him
-you're bending over backwards to do this job the best that you can while he just sits back and watches
-he honestly doesn't even realize it, he's just happy you're doing all the work for him
-everyone in the office LOVES you and hates luke
-they're pushing for michael to fire him and just keep you
-the crew asks you what you two think of each other
-you: "he's the worst. all he does is play cookie clicker or watch porn or whatever on michael's computer all day, and i get stuck doing work that's supposed to be split between two people. i bet he gets paid more than me, too, since he's michael's nephew."
-luke: "the other assistant? yeah, they're cool, i guess. i dunno, i've never really talked to them."
-after about two weeks of you two interning together but hardly interacting, michael sends you two to the store to pick up supplies for one of his random office parties
-and that's really the first time the two of you have been alone together
-so he starts trying to make conversation with you and you are not having it
-and that's the first time it occurs to him that you might not like him
-so from then on he starts putting more effort into talking to you
-he walks you to your car after work
-he helps you carry stuff to and from the warehouse
-he sits with you during your lunch break
-it gets to the point where he spends more time talking to you than pretending to do work
-like before he would at least try to look busy but now its totally obvious he's only showing up to talk to you
-think season one jim and pam except you're super annoyed instead of smitten
-one day you two have to accompany michael on a trip to new york
-him and erin go in one car, which means you're stuck with luke in his
-for over two hours.
-you spend a couple minutes in silence
-"do you mind if i put music on?" he asks
-"no, i don't care" you reply, not looking up from your phone
-"ok cool, i'm just gonna put my playlist on"
-you don't respond until the music actually comes on
-it's your favorite song
-you look up "you listen to this?"
-"yeah, this is actually my favorite band, why? do you not like it, because i can change it if-"
-"no no, they're actually my favorite band too"
-"really?"
-"yeah, this is my favorite song by them"
-"mine too!"
-you chuckle "you wanna listen to this other band after? they have the same vibe, but they're so underrated"
-"yeah totally!"
-the rest of the car ride goes super fast
-the entire time you guys talk about music and movies and your jobs and whatever else comes up
-once you get to new york the crew asks you both about the ride
-you: "the car ride was actually... fun. which is surprising, considering i just spent two hours and fifteen minutes in a confined space with luke and... didn't totally hate it."
-luke: "i had a good time in the car. y/n is actually really fun to talk to. plus they have good music taste."
-so after that you and luke gradually get closer
-you and him definitely give each other the jim look™ when something crazy happens
-you know the one
-he offers to start driving you to and from work
-"i just thought, y'know, we could save gas money, and it's better for the environment"
-you agree
-after one long day you lean back into the passenger seat of his car and close your eyes
-he turns to look at you
-"you okay?"
-you open your eyes and face him "no, i'm beat" you chuckle "i can't even imagine how tired i look right now"
-he smiles a little and turns away as he starts driving "no, you don't look tired. you look really cute"
-"wish i could say the same for you"
-"hey!"
-you laugh "i'm kidding, i'm kidding! the 'i-dont-own-a-hairbrush' look really suits you"
-he laughs "you think so?"
-"yeah," you reach over and ruffle his hair "all bets are off if you comb this mess"
-"i'll keep it in mind"
-the rest of the drive is spent in comfortable silence with slight blushes on both of your faces
-he parks in front of your house
-"well, this is me. see you monday" you say
-you turn to open the car door, but before you can luke grabs your upper arm and pulls you in for a kiss
-it's short and sweet before he pulls away
-he pauses for a moment "i'm sorry y/n, i don't know why i did that, i wasn't thinking-"
-you cut him off by pressing your lips to his again
-after that day you go on a couple dates before you make it official
-because of you he actually starts trying at work
-like wow... your power
-he doesn't want to get fired since working together lets him spend time with you
-the entire office knows you're dating
-like they don't know
-but they know
-they gossip about it at lunch
-"the interns are so cute together" "you don't even know if they're dating for sure" "luke has actually started putting effort in at work... if that's not y/n's influence i don't know what it is"
-when michael finds out he will take credit for your entire relationship because if he hadn't hired you then you and luke wouldn't have met
