class 1A goes to pride

some 1A headcanons (plus some teachers lol) abt them going to pride and loving it !!

warning: longgggg post

· Yagi is so awkward bc he doesn’t know what to do ???

· Eventually he musters up the courage to buy himself a pan flag and wear it as a cape

· Aizawa and Yamada go together and accidentally run into their students

· Aizawa is dressed pretty lowkey

· Meanwhile Yamada is in full pride regalia

· Platforms, booty shorts, crop top, suspenders, more pins than strictly necessary

· He’s living his best life

· The whole of 1A is there except for Kouda and Tokoyami

· The atmosphere of pride is a bit much for them so they stay at the dorms and eat the rainbow cupcakes Satou made

· Mina does facetime them for a little bit so they can experience the festival from a safe distance

· Ochako is texting them so many pictures

· No cops at pride, only Shouji

· Hitoshi and Kirishima have both been to pride before and are all about it

· Of course erasermic would take their son are you kidding ???

· And Kiri’s moms had this boy in a stroller as they walked around

· It’s one of his earliest memories

· Izuku is SO EXCITED

· He’s got bi flags on his cheeks and one of those “be a nice human” shirts on

· Todoroki bleached and dyed the red half of his hair rainbow

· He is unironically wearing rainbow pants he found somewhere

· Aoyama did his makeup

· His scar is now a galaxy

· He’s never been so happy with his appearance

· Ochako wears her flag like a cape and high fives everyone else who does the same

· (Yagi is so happy when he gets a high five, but also a bit sheepish)

· She tried to get Iida to put confetti in his engines so they’d fire out glitter whenever they were on

· He said no

· Bummer

· Iida does not have a label for his sexuality but he does wear his pronouns (he/him) on a pin to help with normalizing it and giving courage to his friends

· He also brings water and snacks to make sure everyone stays healthy (Momo and Tsuyu do this too)

· (Also Bakugou but he’ll deny it)

· Tsu uses they/she pronouns interchangeably and wears them on her shirt like a badge of honor

· She also has fashioned a lesbian flag into a skirt

· Lesbian themed flower crown as well bc cottagecore vibesssss

· She would bring her siblings if they asked

lemme j say that it’s chaos

he will literally get 0 ZERO work done bc he’s j fooling around with your kid

lucky for him, his work and boss are pretty flexible so turning things a few minutes late aren’t a biggie

you on the other hand, could use some peace and quiet

now that you’re both working from home, you only have one surface to work on: your dining table, and you share that with your husband

except he can't sit still so your kid will go up to him to play and he'll reach out to tickle them, jiggling the table and causing you to lose your focus

you've contemplated going to a nearby cafe like Starbucks with good wifi but the thought of leaving your husband and child alone threw that thought out the window

it was distracting but it also meant ur breaks were never boring

if it was takeout day, you'd all sit around the table and enjoy your little meals, your kid swinging their legs underneath the table, kicking you or your husband

but if there were any important meetings, kami will understand if you need privacy and he'll take your kid out to the park

at the end of the day, they're both knocked out on the couch, cute

kirishima eijiro

he is #1 daddy

can litrally handle his kid while paying attention and being professional in his work/meetings

man ok just imagine boss!kirishima who’s always giving his coworkers a good time with him being so chill and relaxed, they don’t mind at all if his kid pops in to say hi

it’s just adorable and squeezes their hearts aww cuz the kid is like kirishima but copy paste

if he’s not working, he’ll be playing with the kid and occasionally shushing them cuz “mommy/daddy’s working” and then for no reason the two of them will break out into giggles

he’ll have a break where he’ll chop up fruit and have ur kid prepare drinks and they bring it to u in a tray

ur kids jumping around all “I poured the drink! I did!!”

and they just won’t leave the room so kirishimas gotta throw them over his shoulder

also very careful when you guys go out

he’s got the cushions and a huuuge blanket that is often used to fit the 3 of u under it for movies

honestly, it’s tempting to wrap the both of them into a blanket burrito

I’m hungry now damn

but if he’s not sleeping it out with his kid, sero will join you at the table, giving you any drinks or snacks u want, even cleaning up the house a little

Either that orrrr he’ll be bored and go bother u

poking ur sides, having one sided staring contests and wiggling eyebrows

it leaves u giggling cuz u can’t focus

and when he’s working, don’t even bother doing the same, he’ll give u the look like just u wait...

at the end of the day, it’s the 3 of u talking abt ur day but here’s how it goes down

“So how was ur day dad?” U ask him

“Oh you know the usual, going to work, commuting to the kitchen, putting my little colleague to sleep.”

ur kid places a hand on his and giggles, “I’m not a colee!!”

“What about you babe?” He asks.

“Hmm, I went to the zoo today and watched these cute animals play with each other but then they got tired and fell asleep on my couch!”

hi hi! i wanted to request some hcs of class 1-a asking american reader abt america one night? or maybe just abt black culture? with deku just furiously scribbling stuff down in his notebook while muttering to himself! thank you 🤍

(a/n) : omg an ask!! 🥳🥳 also everything i talk about in this fic (including recipes) is just my experience w black culture (btw i’m black). also slight angst and mention of homesickness but mostly fluff

black!fem!reader explaining america to class 1-a

“so who’s making dinner tonight?” the question sero asked hung in the air for a bit of time before bakugou replied with an eye roll, “i’ll make it since the rest of you are incomplete around a kitchen.”

the rest of the class, tired, nodded their heads and kept doing what they were doing originally until someone else spoke up, “i’ll do it. i’ve been wanting to cook dirty rice for y’all,” you spoke from the couch.

“oh, what’s dirty rice?” kaminari asks you. “um it’s rice with ground beef, shrimp, peppers, and green onions,” you explain to the sparky hero-in-training.

“well im all for it!!” kirishima raises his fist in happiness while smiling at you. “it’s ground beef, shrimp, peppers, and…” deku looks at you expectantly while listing off the ingredients you said while writing them in his notebook.

“green onions. listen better stupid,” bakugou then turned to you with a deadpan face and asked, “you need help?” you shook your head, “no no thanks for the offer though.”

you walked towards the kitchen, grabbed the apron kaminari bought bakugou (which said “kiss my food, not the cook”), and started to gather your ingredients.

“alright none of y’all are allergic to anything, right?” you asked the class because you hadn’t cooked for them before, bakugou always stepping up to cook and you being too lazy to get up after grueling training. after hearing various responses of no’s, you get to work.

(insert about 30 minutes of you cooking beautifully)

“alright, kirishima, you set the table. we just need spoons and napkins,” you tell him while sprinkling green onions in everyone’s bowl. “yes ma’am!” kirishima starts to gather the spoons while everyone starts to sit down at the table.

when you and bakugou start handing out the bowls to y’all’s classmates, you can see almost all of their mouths drooling at the smell of the dish (shoji’s drool is coming from his mouth hand thing).

as you and bakugou sat down to eat, class 1-a put their hands together and yelled very quickly, “thank you for the food!”

as soon as the last word was said, nobody talked for at least 10 minutes, too busy eating and wiping out their food. deku was the first one to finish.

(y/n)! that was amazing!! did you make enough for seconds?” he finished his question by licking his lips of any remaining dirty rice.

“of course i did because we’ll be eating off of that for about 2 more days. but we’ll eat the rest tomorrow i guess.” everyone in the class looked at you excitedly. “we can eat this for the next 2 days?!” ururaka asked, smiling.

“of course. that’s the way my family does it anyway,” you shrugged. “really?” deku asks, this time more calmly, pulling out his notebook and pen.

“oh yea. that way we can just heat it up.” deku scribbles again. this time jirou asks, “what else comes with your culture, (y/n)?”

you scratch at your braids a bit, “um let’s see. what category do y’all wanna know?”

“oh um can we get braids?” aoyama spoke up.

“no,” you replied with a straight face. “oh,” aoyama nodded his head.

all of you guys spent the rest of the night talking about your culture and you felt a bit homesick as you walked back to your dorm room.

“hey,” a hand touched your shoulder. you turned back to see it was your fun, pink classmate, mina.

“if you ever want to talk about anything about america, i’m here for you,” she smiled and looked at you with genuine friendship. “if you didn’t know, i’m actually blasian,” she raised her left index finger to her dimple cutely.

“i would like that mina,” you placed your hand on mina’s, which was still on your shoulder. “come here,” she pulled you into a hug.

as you walked to your bed, fresh out of the shower, you were happy that you can handle this hero thing not by yourself, but with friends that respect your culture.

Why did u do this to him

He got some vacation time and decide that the two of you along with some others from class 1-A

He thought it would’ve good since most of them are pro heroes and need time to catch their breath

So they decided to go to Bora Bora

Since we all know this man is stacked

Once there they went to the beach to just relax yk

Granted they got recognized but come on their heroes so it’s whatever

But you said that you had something to do and told them to go

Todoroki wanted to stay with you real bad ‘cuz he been missing his baby a lot

But you told him to go and that you’ll catch up

“Sho sweetie just go ok. I’ll catch up with you guys I’ll only be a couple minutes” you told him as he nuzzled his head into the crook of your neck

He whined a lot but eventually went but told you if you stay too long he’s coming back

You nodded and they left

And now the part where you kill this man

He along with Midoriya, Bakugou, Kirishima, Tsu, Uraraka, Iida, Mina, Kaminari, Jirou and Sero were already at the spot they picked out for the day.

Most of the group was in the water while Mina, Iida, Jirou and Todoroki were still under the umbrellas sitting.

Mina was tanning tho

Jirou was on her phone scrolling through Tiktok and she came across your video and paused

Her eyes widened as she smirked

“Hey Todoroki!” Jirou called out to him

Todoroki turned to look at her

“Hm? Is something wrong Jirou?” He asked, confused by her sudden outburst.

“Nope! I just wanted to show you something! Here” she said as she handed her phone to Todoroki

“Just watch that video” she told him.

He nodded and took the phone

“Uh ok sure” he replied

He looked down at his phone and his mouth immediately went dry

And that my love was the reason you stayed behind

You were directly in front of the huge glass window of the penthouse house you were staying in which was in the living room.

Y’all can’t tell me that Todoroki would take anything else than the penthouse

And let’s just say you happen to be in the same place as him when this all went down

And just as Shinsou was was rounding the corner with Kaminari

You started dancing and then some girls who new the dance too just dropped all they stuff and jumped in to dance wit you

Then the circle of people formed

And ppl were whispering and talking about you saying how they loved your hair, your glowing brown skin and everything else they could point out abt u

And when I tell y’all was throwing enough ass for a WHOLE VILLAGE

And u was the ring leader

Especially with the outfit you had on, which was his favorite, aint a person there could take their EYES OF YOU

The reason it was his favorite it was him who bought it for you. Plus it says “property of Hitoshi Shinsou” on the back. That’s was the main reason

BUT ANYWAYS-

So there you were shaking and thanging ya thang drawing the attention of everyone

And when I say everyone I mean EVERYONE

That INCLUDES YA MAN

Both Kaminari and Shinsou say the commotion and opted to check it out just in case

And chileeee when they got up there...

Shinsou’s eyes damn near ripped outta his head

Manz was sitting there like “huh???excuse me???”

And you ain’t even realize him literally like 4 feet away from you

Chile you was still doing the dance hell all the ppl who jumped up there wit you was

And Shinsou was standing there just watching you with his arms crossed

The circle of people noticed him and Kaminari standing there and made and path for them to walk

And nigga ain’t waste no time walking but behind you as soon as you finished the dance

And everybody was watching, all up in y’all’s business

“Well hello there princess.. what do you think you’re doing?” He asked

He ain’t even care about the people who were staring

And Kaminari was trying to move the crowd

“Ight y’all! Time to get going!! Nothing to see here!!” Kaminari yelled as the crowd dispersed

“‘Toshi? What are you doing here?” You asked

“Well I’m done working now and now I’ma take your ass home" Shinsou said as his purple eyes glowed at you

“Oookkkkk time to go” you said as you picked up your phone and turned to leave

“Nah I’m taking you myself” he said as he picked you up and threw you over his shoulder

“NIGGA WE IN PUBLIC IF YOU DONT PUT ME THE FUCK DOWN!!” You yelled as you thrashed around on Shinsou’s shoulder

“Hey babe?” Shinsou asked

“What?” You answered

You then felt you whole body go limp

‘DAMMIT! He tricked me!’ You thought

“Well let’s go babes” Shinsou said

And he just walked down the street with you just like that and when y’all got home he didn’t even release you from the brainwashing

He carried you to the room and laughed at your distress the rest of the night

today, i’m starting out w bnhainktober day 2 prompt: best girl!! i’m kinda cheating bc i’m uploading my preview for my fic in the @bnha-animals-zine, lol! my fic centers Tooru and a really feisty bunny w a lot to teach her abt properly using her quirk! hope you enjoy the 300-word preview and will consider preordering the zine; all of the artists and writers working on this project are hella talented and super sweet! and i super duper hope that you’ll be following my fics/original work thru-out this month!

BNHA INKTOBER // DAY 2 // PROMPT: BEST GIRL

Aizawa had insisted that some of the best teachers in stealth were animals of prey. There were constantly honing their skills by outwitting predators, launching strategic counter-maneuvers, and mastering the art of camouflage... At least that’s what Aizawa-sensei said... Tooru really couldn’t picture bunnies doing anything but being adorable but when has Aizawa-sensei ever been wrong? He knows everything! Like the time he knew Ashido and Kaminari were planning a super-secret prank for that one annoying blond kid in Class 1-B and stopped them before the poor guy could fall for it, or the time he erased Sero’s quirk ten seconds before he sneezed so his tape wouldn’t go shooting everywhere, and... OH, remember the ti--

THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP! Tooru is shaken from her thoughts as one of the bunnies nearest her starts pounding his foot on the ground, his wide, brown eyes gazing directly at her as if she wasn’t completely invisible. The other bunnies respond immediately to the first bunny’s warning, setting their sights in Tooru’s direction.

“Oh my gosh!! Can you guys see me? Are you guys honing your bunny senses or somethi—” The bunny who started thumping calmly bounces over to where Tooru is standing. She doesn’t think about resisting the urge to reach out and pet him. The bunny twists away from her hand, leaping at it from the side and successfully nipping her.

“OUCHHHHHHH!!!” Tooru shrieks, her hand already throbbing. The bunnies, and their fearless, bite-crazed leader, hop quickly out of sight, across the park, seeking the camouflage of the trees and shrubbery on the other side. “What was that for, meanie?!” Tooru rubs the back of her hand gently trying not to cry.

“You scared them, Hagakure. You were practically vibrating with noise. You outed yourself as a threat.” Tooru whirls around to face the owner of the voice even though she knows who it belongs to.

Yeah, they changed that part orz I’m really unhappy about that for a number of reasons, but I guess their reasoning was that they wanted the anime to end with the Baku Deku vs All Might fight and in the manga that’s, like, the second fight to be done with? And if they had kept the order the anime would have ended with Mineta and Sero, so… I guess I get why they went for this, but still. I can’t say I like it orz

I’m pretty sure I gave an in depth answer to this question a couple of times already, but do you think I’ve been able to find it? (I haven’t) so to make a fast recap, I only like them as friends, nothing sexual and nothing romantic - I really, really, really want to see them become friends, but I can’t see the necessary chemistry for any other kind of relationship between them, right now

And that’s also why I don’t ship it? I just can’t see it working in a way such that both of them are as happy as they can be, and I only ship if I can see both characters being happy in the relationship - foundamentally Bakugou and Izuku are different on all the wrong things, a big part of the reason why they fight so much is that their ways of living are different, to make a space for each other in their lives big enough that they won’t step on each other’s toes every two steps they take they should change their core personalities a lot.

And I’m not talking about Bakugou, specifically, I’m talking about both of them. I do know that the fandom likes to pick Bakugou and turn his personality inside-out to make him fit with Deku in such a way that Deku will be happy, but realistically that’s only gonna make Bakugou miserable. It’s true that most faults rest on Bakugou’s shoulders as far as their relationship goes, but Deku isn’t the sort of person fit to be with Bakugou either - and I can’t have Bakugou make a 180° on his personality, force himself to be someone he’s not, just to accomodate Deku. I like Bakugou as he is, and I want to see him grow up while growing into himself. And while I do prefer Bakugou as a character, I happen to like Deku as he is very much as well, I don’t want him to turn into another person just to accomodate Bakugou’s personality either

So this turns into “either I change these two characters to make them fit together, or I let them be just friends and actually find characters that do fit with them as they are already”, and personally, I’m always gonna go for the second option. I mean, why would I want to ship them when I can ship bakushima t b h

Of course you’re free to ship it if to you the chemistry is more obvious than it is to me! It’s just not my cup of tea at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
