↳ FT: GN!Reader x Chat Noir

↳ Warnings: Literally like none- unless you hate baguettes-

The ball was in full swing, everything was perfect just like how you had planned it to be. It was kind of fitting the theme was a night in Paris, seeing as you were in the city of Paris. But it couldn’t be helped, the theme was such a classic and you had even went to greater lengths by making it a masquerade ball.

You looked into the mirror with a smug grin as you placed your blask mask on your face, it had effectively covered the top half of your face. You were totally checking yourself out in the mirror cause why not at this point. After a twirl or two you decided it best to go back into the party and greet your guests.

All the major people in Paris had been invited, including the one and only superhero team but most importantly Ladybug and Chat Noir. Upon entering the ballroom, your eyes surveyed the room finding somewhat familiar faces. It was pretty easy to pick out some of your friends through their hair and light up the room type smiles.

The light shone bright on you from above as Nino announced you to the room.

“Let’s hear it for the one the only Y/N L/N!! You have our sincere thanks for putting this shindig together! Can I get a Hell Yeah!”

The crowd erupted in a “Hell Yeah!” and you giggled gleefully in reaction. The music started pumping and you mingled in the crowd making sure everyone was having a fun time.

Much to your disappointment you hadn’t seen any of the superheroes you had went out of your way to publicly invite.

“If you had invited Queen Bee here you won't be an utter disappointment” Chloe had remarked when you went to check on her out of pure courtesy.

“Well Chloe everyone knows you’re Queen Bee, and you are here aren’t you?” You asked with a smile on your face dodging her insult. Chloe ‘tsk’ed rolling her eyes as she sipped her drink. You took that as a moment to slip away, your job as a host being completed. As you continued to mingle you ran into who you thought was Marinette, her blue bell eyes were hard to miss under the black as night mask she wore that perfectly matched the black slightly bedazzled dress she wore that graced the floor with its light appearance.

“Hey Mari!” You said waving to her. “Hey Y/N! Awesome party!” Marinette exclaimed giving a kiss on either side of your cheeks in greeting, “By any chance have you seen Adrien yet- You did invite him right!?”

You chuckled at your friend and her obvious crush on Adrien Agreste. How could you have forgotten to invite the one the only Adrien Agreste. “Of course I invited him…. Sorta-” You admitted looking off into the distance.

“What do you mean sorta-” Marinette asked her tone lowering as she looked at you suspiciously. “Well, you see, I gave the invitation to Nathalie- She said she’d ask his father and i may have forgotten to follow up- I’m so sorry Marinette-” You felt ashamed, you were trying to get the two of them together alongside Alya but you had messed up badly by not making sure he was going to come. If only you had been able to give him the invitation personally but he was away on some trip when invitations were being given out-

Marinette’s mood lowered slightly and you quickly followed up with a, “I’m sure he’ll be here! Nathalie wouldn’t not give him the invitation! And I’m sure his father would see no fault in him coming here! It’d be great publicity after all! Anyone who’s anyone is here!”

“Yeah, you’re right!” Marinette’s mood did a complete 180. “Besides if he doesn’t show me and you can stuff our faces with baguettes of the heart broken!” Marinette paused for a moment seeing you look down to the floor.

“So he really isn’t here- “ You looked back up, “It’s fine, It’s just a silly celebrity crush. It’ stupid-” “No Y/N, don’t say that! I’m sure he’s just fighting a villain with Ladybug and can’t come yet!” Marinette tried to console you. “It’s fine really! Who else would eat the heart-broken baguettes with you?” You smiled moving a stray hair from her face, “Enjoy the party, I have to go check on some things. Kay?” Marinette shook her head in response watching you leave toward the balcony of the venue.

The cool air washed over you, the view of the eiffel tower in full view, and no ‘villian’ in sight- For once Paris was calm, as if Hawkmoth had taken an off day. It seemed Chat Noir had also taken an off day and chose a different means of relaxation other than the party. You sighed leaning on the rails. Eyes seemingly trained to the night sky.

“Meow-Za someone looks down in the dumps.”

Surprised, you turned around practically face to face with Chat Noir and his bright cheeky smile sitting atop the roof of the venue. “Chat Noir you came?” You couldn’t help the hint of surprise and gladness that laced your words.

“Of course I came, I wouldn't miss a star appearance for nothing,” His slipped off the roof almost cat like and you were able to seem him in full view, his regular leather suit switched in favor of a dress suit. “Pray tell who might you be underneath the mask?” Chat Noir asked with a smirk on his face as he neared closer to you.

You rolled your eyes playfully, “I thought those were supposed to remain a secret kitty cat-” You returned the smirk his way and he stalked around you with a smile, “Let me guess, you’re the one the only! Gabriel Agreste!” You playfully shoved him, “Absolutely not! I can’t pull off the outfit-” an unfortunate outfit you wanted to say but you kept the judging to yourself.

“No one can-” Chat Noir admitted leaning against the rails, a look you couldn’t quite describe written on his face as he looked to the sky above. Almost instantly he looked at you, “But hey this is a ball, where we dance and not judge fashion failures-”

“You’re right! I should go check on the other guests and make sure they are dancing,” You leaned off the railing and looked over to your watch going over To-do’s in your head. Chat cleared his throat placing himself in front of you, “I meant as in for us to dance-”

Oh- OH- You practically froze on the spot as he extended a hand to you with a small bow, “Shall we?” You placed your hands in his with a nod. Looks like you weren’t going to be having heart-broken baguettes with Marinette-

Chloe's Development

Can I just say I felt really bad for Chloe in this episode? I know she really, REALLY isn't the nicest person on earth but thinking about what Zoe told her at the end... Maybe that was the very first time in her life that someone told her they would love her unconditionally.

Like, no matter what she did and how she behaved she would be accepted and loved. Remember, she became like that in the first place to gain her Mother's affection and because of maternal negligence, of course! She never even dared to step out of this mean girl persona, since she knew that's not what her mother would see as "acceptable". That's the case even today. Her father isn't completely innocent either naturally, since he probably never had time for her during childhood as he was running for mayor, I don't believe he played a big role in this, though.

Chloe adapted this horrid behavior after being neglected throughout the years and that's also why being Queen Bee and getting recognized for it meant so much to her, even if the act of heroism itself wasn't her motivation. Considering all these factors, she never really had a good role model and the one person she looked up to, Ladybug, neglected and left her in the end too. This poor girl was basically destined to turn out this way. But what makes Queen Banana even more soul crushing is the fact that in this episode she has really lost everyone and everything at one point (maybe except Sabrina lol). She lost her childhood friend, the trust in her father, her powers/identity as Queen Bee and the people who had already left her were emphasized on again like Ladybug and her Mother. And of course some of these losses were justified, since Chloe pushed them away herself, but not only are we trying to see things from her perspective, nobody ever taught her different.

This may just be a valuable learning experience for Chloe, especially now that she has the confirmation from her half-sister that she can be vulnerable and can be her true self (which we saw in Malediktator already) without being judged and that her emotions are valid. Actually, now that I'm typing this, maybe Zoe's character arc somehow also translates to Chloe's. Maybe that will be the point in all of this: Zoe helping Chloe to turn the tides, because she understands how it is to pretend to be someone you are not, even if one of them did it consciously and one of them does it subconsciously.

There is good in Chloe. We have seen it, Marinette has seen it, all of Paris has seen it. And before you come here saying that "Adrien didn't turn out this way and he has a neglectful father" - Gabriel became like this only one year ago, when Emilie died. EMILIE "DIED" ONE YEAR AGO CHLOE'S MOTHER HAS NEVER ONCE EXISTED IN HER LIFE SINCE THE DAY SHE WAS BORN.

Not only that, but there is still hope for her. I think I need to remind some of you of the fact that one of the best redemption arcs in the history of animated television didn't have a smooth ride at all. Zuko from ATLA basically murdered all his development from the second season in the finale of Book Two. Or at least it seemed that way at first... Just like Chloe threw all her work from more than one season away in "Miracle Queen". (Or at least it seemed that way at first?) But here comes the whole "role model" thing again: Zuko had Iroh, whose guidance stuck with him even until after his betrayal and which ultimately led him to the right path. Chloe never had an Iroh. However, who knows, Zoe could just possibly be her Uncle Iroh.

And, by the way, as long as we are talking about ATLA... Chloe could have turned out a lot worse. I believe many of us know another, only 14 year old girl, who believed that her mother didn't love her. Actually, who believed NOBODY in the world loved her. And we know how she turned out to be in the end.

Yeah.

All I'm saying is, please don't be too harsh on Chloe. Yes, the hurt she has caused is definitely inexcusable, but at least there is an explanation and there is hope. Maybe like Mr. Bustier, we should try to see the good in her and all people.

Multiverse

It took some time but everyone slowly awoke each one told the same thing.

“Explanations will be dealt when everyone is awake.”

Some whined while others simply nodded finding the person they were closest to for comfort. Tom and Sabine took a seat closer to their daughter but did not crowd around her. Both content with her spot between Luka and Adrien. Juleka and Rose woke at the same time, and for a short while thought they were simply enjoying another sleepover. Until Luka tickled Juleka under her chin gently, Juleka let out a soft squeal curling closer to Rose to escape her brother. She glared at her brother, eyes softening when she saw Marinette sleeping with her head on his thigh.

“What’s going on?” Juleka asked softly, not letting go of Rose who was shaking as she looked around the room.

“We don’t really know yet, but we’re all safe. And our...captors I guess, their songs are long but they show we can trust them.” Adrien leaned over from his place sitting besides Gorilla’s chair.

“We’re just trying to stay positive Juleka, Rose. Nino and I keep joking that we’re all having one big movie night.” Nino grinned from his spot beside Alya who was currently typing out their entire experience into her phone. Lila sat on her other side looking around warily but smiling to keep up appearances. Juleka gave Adrien a gentle smile as her and Rose sat up. Juleka took her chance to look around and blinked in slight shock as Jagged and Penny walked over to them.

“Hey there Little Rockstars! Mind if Penny and I join you guys? We only know the Rockin’ Dupain-Chengs, and unfortunately the Bourgeois!” Penny slapped his arm gently, glancing over and sighing in relief that the family didn’t hear them.

“A little lower Jagged, they own the hotel we currently reside at.” Jagged looked at her like a kicked puppy before grinning mischievously and leaning closer to the group.

“Just between us, I’d rather live in the zoo than anywhere near the Bourgeois. Their daughter was constantly trying to invite herself into my room when we first came.” Penny slapped his arm a couple times with her notebook causing the group to laugh softly.

“Give her some credit.” Penny glanced at said girl as she made Jagged sit down. “Since the Queen Bee incident she has been...better?” Adrien frowned softly looking at his old friend about to protest until Gorilla put a hand on his shoulder squeezing it gently. Adrien glanced up at him before sighing softly and nodding.

“Chloe can be a good person, she really can. She just...she changed when her mom left.” Jagged was silent as he stared at the boy before looking over at Chloe who was trying to get her mother’s attention. A soft ‘oh’ leaving him as he watched them, his gaze turning sad as he remembered problems with his own family. Jagged coughed into his hand wanting to change the topic as he kicked out his legs crossing them at the knees.

“Well who else are we waiting to wake up?” He asked looking over to Adrien with a gentle smile. His tone calmer than usual as Penny settled near him. Adrien returned the smile glancing down at Marinette.

“Just Marinette and Kim, although I think Alix is ready to smack Kim awake at this point.”

“I am!”

Alix announced loudly from her spot beside Nathaniel. Laughter rang through the room from their classmates and Jagged. Only Luka noticed when Marinette woke up and had to hold back laughter at the disgruntled glare crossing her still sleep filled face. Luka smiled when their eyes met tilting his head to the side.

“Hello Melody.” He said softly, helping her sit up as she rubbed her eyes. “Now we are just waiting on Kim.” he said to Jagged and a second later a loud slap rang through the room. Kim jerked awake holding his right cheek as he glared up at Alix. It only took seconds for the two to be rolling around wrestling on the floor.

The man stood up walking to the front of the room. He waited for a few seconds before deciding to say something.

“Silence.”

He said booking no room for argument and the room went silent with all eyes on the man. He nodded looking over them all.

“I have brought you here today to show you not just what your lives could be, but what your lives are in other universes. I am doing this because one of you is very close to setting themselves on a path for death, and if they die your universe will follow.” He looked at all of them before continuing on.

“Depending on how you act will determine who will remember this in full. Identities will be exposed, you will see happy and sad Universes. Time outside this room is frozen, food and drink will be provided. I will let you know when it’s over. Now, would you like to start?” Adrien hesitantly raised his hand looking at the man.

“So you aren’t going to hurt us?” The man gave a gentle smile, his gaze softening.

“No, I am here to save you.”

Jagged looked around the room before deciding to speak up.

“Fine, let's get this show rockin’ an’ rollin’..”

The man nodded before returning to his seat, the tv turning on.

Multi-Mouse: A Different Ladybug

Marinette is shown running through the school heading towards the janitor's closet, loud bangs and crashes heard in the background as she rips the door open practically throwing herself inside.

“Oh is Marinette hiding from an Akuma attack. I hope she stays safe!” Rose gasped huddling closer to Juleka, covering her mouth as she glanced at Marinette. Assuring herself her friend was still there, Marinette gave her a gentle smile before turning back to the screen.

Marinette pressed her back against the door as she looked around the closet making sure she was alone. “Alright Mullo let’s go! Bridgette is half way across Paris right now on a field trip. We need to distract the Akuma until she and Chat arrive. Mullo flew out of her purse grinning at her as he circled her head.

“You know what to say Marinette!”

Marinette grinned, grabbing the pendent and raising her head confidently.

“Mullo! Let’s get Squeaky!”

Everyone watched her transformation amazed, except for Gabriel who glared at the screen turning to look at the Marinette in the room with them. Nathalie glanced at her boss before looking back at the screen.

“Time to get to work!” Muti-Mouse said, running out of the closet and making her way towards the Akuma in the quart yard. Said Akuma looked like a Gargoyle with glowing red eyes and long sharp talons. Every time it hit someone with its talons they turned to stone. Mutli-Mouse watched from a distance before using her rope, wrapping it around one of the talons and yanking back hard, stopping them from swiping at civilians caught in the way. “Now, attacking civilians that's pathetic. But then again everything Hawkmoth does is pathetic so I shouldn’t expect much.” She pulled her rope back grinning as it made the Akuma stumble. Multi-Mouse’s grin grew as the purple outline of a butterfly appeared. She launched herself back performing a backhand spring dodging a swipe.

“Multi-Mouse! You disgusting vermin! You will hand your Miraculous over to me this instant, or I will turn you into a beautiful statue too!” Marinette hummed tapping her chin as she rocked back and forth on her feet almost playfully.

“How about, no.” She said grinning and shaking her hand in a jazz hands fashion. Laughter rang from the building across from her, and the supposed camera on them moved showing Ladybug.

“A different Ladybug? So that means this Ladybug isn’t our own, interesting and look at her costume! Mari isn’t that a cheongsam? It looks amazing!” Alya exclaimed, bouncing in her seat before turning to her bestie for confirmation. Marinette froze as all eyes were on her, she gave them all a shaky smile glancing at her mom before nodding her head.

“Yes it is Alya. It’s very common in China that Ladybug must be really in touch with her heritage! It is very beautiful and if I’m looking correctly, it looks to be made of something similar to Kevlar. The same with her leggings underneath.” Marinette smiled as she took in the heroine of that Universe wondering if she could convince Tikki to change her own outfit to something similar.

This Ladybug wore a red and black spotted Cheongsam with two slits along the side ending at her hips. Giving her plenty of range to move, underneath she had leggings that dipped into red combat boots with black laces. Her mask and yo-yo remained the same but her hair was pulled into a long fishtail braid that ended just past her knee cap.

Though one thought plagued Marinette’s mind as she looked at this Ladybug, who was she?

“I agree with her. You’ll never get our Miraculous!” Ladybug said as she began to spin her yo-yo dropping into a defensive stance.

“My name is Sculptor, and you better remember it because I will be the one taking those earrings from you!” Ladybug smirked as Sculptor launched himself at her. She threw her yo-yo out wrapping it around his outstretched wrist and pulled hard using her foot to pivot. She circled around twice then yanked her yo-yo back sending the Akuma flying towards Multi-Mouse. Who in return wrapped her rope around his waist yanking him to her faster delivering a hard punch to his face causing both to yelp in pain. Multi-Mouse was quick to jump back holding her injured hand to her chest as Sculptor recovered faster than her, nearly catching her with his talons.

“No, no, no!” Alya said fast as she grabbed Marinette’s ankle cementing the fact that her Marinette was with her not facing the Akuma. Marinette reached out grabbing Alya’s hand, squeezing it.

“Breathe Alya, remember that’s not me out there. That’s not me.”

“Ya, not you.” Alya said, keeping her eyes on Marinette’s before turning back to the screen. Marinette let out a relieved sigh before turning to look at her parents giving them a reassuring smile.

“Multi-Mouse!” Ladybug cried out her yo-yo spinning as she got ready to save one of her partners. She stopped herself as Chat Noir dropped down, wrapping an arm around Multi-Mouse’s waist using his baton to launch them to the same rooftop. “Well now we know he is actually made of stone.” Ladybug said as the three hid around the corner. Multi-Mouse gave her an ‘oh really’ look as she tenderly touched her hand. “Let me see.” Ladybug said, taking her hand gently before turning to Chat. “Please distract him for a bit, I need to make sure her fingers aren’t broken.” Chat nodded standing up straight as he twirled his baton.

“On it my Lady, Princess.” He nodded to both before throwing himself back into the Sculptor’s line of sight. Ladybug turned back carefully, touching Multi-Mouse's hand while watching her reactions. After a few moments she stopped nodding with a smile.

“It is hurt but not broken, be careful with it. The Miraculous cure will heal it enough that it’ll bruise slightly. Ready to get back out there?” Ladybug questioned, causing Multi-Mouse to grin. She stood up peaking around the corner watching. Hat dodge Sculptor’s every swipe.

“I am but we need a plan and fast. I believe the Akuma is in his necklace, it looks hand crafted.” Ladybug peeked around the corner, eyes zeroing in on the necklace before both of them pulled back out of sight. “We need to get the necklace off him without being hit with his talons. The question is how?” She turned to Ladybug one hand cupping her chin as she thought. “I think it’s time for you lucky charm. Ladybug spun her yo-yo nodding with a grin.

“I think you’re right, Lucky Charm!” Ladybug cried out groaning when a small statue landed in her arms. “A statue? Really?” Multi-Mouse giggled softly covering her mouth as the two heroines leaned out of their cover again. Ladybug was silent as her eyes shifted from blue to a swirl of red and black, darting back and forth rapidly. “Alright Multi-Mouse, here’s the plan. I am going to leave the statue with you and take over distraction from Chat. You are going to take the statue and make your way to the basketball hoop. Chat will meet you there, give him the statue and tell him to get ready to use Cataclysm. Make sure to stress that he is to not use it on the statue but is going to make Sculptor think he is. I want you to use Multitude and be ready on the flag poles. I am going to hook my yo-yo around both so that you have a platformish surface to get to him. All of you must use your ropes and wrap them around the necklace. Once it is off him Chat will throw the statue to me and use his staff to land on my yo-yo string besides you. He will use cataclysm on the necklace, so either climb on him or cancel Multitude. Understand?” Ladybug said after her eyes returned to her normal blue. Multi-Mouse nodded as she thought the plan through. She grabbed the statue giving Ladybug a bright smile before making her way to the basketball hoop. Ladybug was quick to jump down, taking Chat’s place. “Go to the basketball hoop.” She said and Chat set off for the hoop causing her to smirk. After a few moments Chat’s voice rang out, catching their attention.

“Man I bet this would look cat-astrophic if my hand just grazed it.” He moved his charges up hand towards the statue causing Sculptor to roar in anger. Ladybug uses the moment to wrap around the flag poles grinning as mini Multi-Mouses run across her string rope in hand. Sculptor used his wings to launch himself at Chat, not even noticing when Multi-Mouse ripped the necklace from him.

“Now!” Ladybug cried out bracing herself to catch the statue. Chat grinned, throwing it to her using his staff to propel him to the rope, immediately grabbing the necklace in his powered up hand. Multi-Mouse canceled Multitude wrapping an arm around Chat shoulder. Chat used his staff to get them to the ground as Ladybug pulled her yo-yo back swinging it up to catch the butterfly.

“It’s always amazing to see Ladybug hatch a plan. Even if it isn’t our Ladybug, she is just as amazing as ours is.” Adrien said with practical stars in his eyes, not noticing the slight blush on Marinette’s face, or the snort that left Fu as he looked between the two. “I wonder if we know this other Ladybug? Also it’s so cool that Marinette is a hero in that universe! She’s already out everyday Ladybug, and there she is their literal Multi-Mouse!” Marinette blushed even more not meeting anyone’s eyes and Adrien rambled on. “If only she could be Multi-Mouse in our universe too, she’d be amazing. Her and Ladybug working together I’m sure they’d defeat Hawkmoth in no time.” Alya grinned looking at Marinette, then Adrien decided to join in on the Marinette hype band wagon.

“I know right! Marinette would be the best hero!” Marinette sent Alya a slightly glare as she waved her hands frantically.

“Enough, enough, enough! Let’s-ah-let’s just get back to the...show? Episode??? Universe?? Agh, let’s just call these episodes, this is so confusing.”

“See ya later little butterfly.” She said softly before grabbing the statue. Spinning twice, throwing it into the air after the second spin. Ladybugs spread across the city fixing everything. Ladybug turned to her two partners with a grin on her face as she held out her fist.

“Pound it!” They cried out together soon after Chat’s ring beeped causing him to blanche slightly before giving the two a grin.

“Well my two favorite ladies, that is my que to go. Patrol tonight?” He asked as he pulled Multi-Mouse into a side hug doing the same to Ladybug. The two nodded, voicing their conformation waving as he jumped away.

“Five on both our classes being canceled.” Ladybug said a mischievous look on her face as she gazed down on the shorter hero, who rolled her eyes as the two began leaping across rooftops. “Oh come on Multi, you used to love placing bets with me.” Ladybug pouted as the two landed on the bakeries balcony glancing around before dropping transformation.

“That was when you didn’t try and get me in sucker's bets Bridgette.” Marinette said with a grin as the masks disappeared, she pulled her cousin down through the trap door both landing on her bed with a bounce causing giggles to glow through the room. Soon two Kwami were flying around them tiredly.

“Mari, my pretty pretty Mari. Give. Me. CRACKERS!” The mouse Kwami squeaked out grabbing the front of her bangs tugging, causing the girls and Tikki to giggle.

“Alright alright, Papa probably has food ready for us, Kwami included.” Marinette said, standing up and pulling Bridgette with her.

“Food, food, food!” Bridgette said excitedly, pumping her arms up and down.

“Well, it seems our niece is still as excitable as ever. Oh I miss her.” Sabine said softly leaning against Tom’s side resting her hand on his chest looking at her niece and daughter lovingly. “We should have her spend the summer with us again since she had to leave early last summer.”

The two girls slid down the ladder surprisingly gracefully as they walked to the kitchen teasing and pushing each other.

“Girls…” Sabine said hands on her waist as she eyed the two with a disappointed look. The two simply grinned at her with mischief in their eyes. Sabine’s frown cracked as she walked over to them brushing their hair down. “No training tonight relax I know school has been tough this week. You both did amazing in the fight, Chat as well. Speaking of Chat he has patrol tonight, yes?” Marinette nodded as she sat down at the breakfast table offering Mullo a cracker. “Good good, make sure to leave his box on the balcony for him.” Sabine said, placing the box in the middle of the table.

“I’ll make sure it’s there Auntie, you know he is obsessed with the family pastries.” Bridgette snorted as she bit into a chocolate croissant. She chewed softly waiting till she swallowed to speak again. “Besides thanks to that stupid diet of his, poor kitten isn’t getting the proper amount of calories. Honestly if he followed it he’d be a skeleton!”

“Speaking of my favorite kitty, we have the plan set in motion! Nino, Alya, Chloe, Sabrina, Bridgette, even Jagged Stone, and I all have the proof needed compiled! Sooo Rien is going to start Operation Rebellion!” Sabine hummed amused as she checked on the roast she was making. She shared a look with her niece before looking back at her daughter. “Starting with, unfortunately, his hair, I will miss it’s beautiful sunny blondeness but he will look amazing with bubblegum pink!” Marinette said with a gentle smile, her eyes shining. “I also convinced him to at least wear the cheesy shirts that I make him. After ya know, promising to let him have an actual say in what he wears.” Sabine snorted softly, shaking her head as Marinette gushed on about her Kitty. She turned to Bridgette tapping her wrist as they made eye contact. Bridgette gasped as she stood up quickly looking at the clock.

“Oh no! I’m going to be late if I don’t leave now! I can’t miss practice again! Dimitria will have my head!” Bridgette grabbed her bag running out the door barely giving Tikki time to hide in her pocket. Marinette and Sabine laughed before Marinette went over to the window, opening it and leaning out carefully. She watched Bridgette exit the bakery and start running down the street.

“Have a good practice, Brid!”

“Alright so in this universe Mari’s cousin is Ladybug.” Alya said as she finished typing, placing her phone on Nino’s thigh. “Obviously she’s not our Ladybug as the title screen said. So does that mean someone else related to Marinette is?” Sabine gave Alya a soft slightly pity filled look before turning her gaze back to her daughter. Marinette shoulders were slumped, relief shining in her eyes. Sabine knew why, after all her daughter was never good at keeping secrets from her. Or masking her fighting style and it was her mother who taught her after all.

“Ladybug isn’t someone related to Marinette in our world.” Lila interjected as her confidence slowly came back, if she played her cards right they’d sink even further into her snake pit. “I would know after all, she’s my best friend.” Sabine’s eyes narrowed as she stared at this girl, tightening her grip on Tom’s arm as she realized who it was. Guilt settling in her stomach for not taking her baby girl's side fully in the whole debacle with Rossi and Dramocles.

“Oh I can’t believe we forgot that!” Rose said, looking apologetically at her not moving from her spot against Juleka. “It must be weird for Lila to not see her bestie as Ladybug.” Lila nodded, pulling out crocodile tears as she looked back at the screen showing Marinette’s smiling face. She had to quickly stamp down her anger before wiping her eyes gently.

“I’m more worried about why my friend isn’t Ladybug. After all, she is the only one truly compatible with the Ladybug Miraculous. On top of Marinette’s cousin not being a true holder she is damaging the Miraculous the more she uses it.” Lila sniffled, hiding her face in her hands. Marinette glared down at a corner pillow forcing herself not to say anything, she startled when Luka’s hand intertwined with her and Adrien’s arm wrapped around her shoulder. Her face bright red in slight embarrassment not even noticing the two boys giving each other dirty looks over her head. Gabriel coughed gaining the rooms’ attention before gesturing back to the screen.

“I think we should continue with the next episode…” He said ignoring the few glares he was reviving. Soon the tv was black again, the words appearing once again.

Miraculous Ladybug/Monster High Crossover Idea

As a person that grew up with Monster High, I can tell you that I loved it so much. But I definitely prefer the old Monster High to the version from the two most recent movies for it. But I definitely loved the concept of the children of monsters all attending high school away from the “normies.” Aka, regular humans.

Plus, I was inspired by the movie, Freaky Fusion, since it had hints that hybrid monsters were not liked by regular monsters. There was not a lot of that type of discrimination in the movie, so I thought of my idea.

So, when I was thinking of what could be a cool new idea for a Miraculous crossover, Monster High eventually came to mind. Each of the characters could be turned into a monster and their school could be another school for monsters.

Marinette could be the daughter of the White Tiger from Chinese mythology. Since it is said that the tiger is supposed to come when there is peace on earth, Marinette could have the power to spread peace to whoever she touches. Adrien could be a light elf. Since light elves are said to be “fairer than the sun to look at” he could have the power turn into light. Alya could be a blogging ghost that thinks she searches for truth but believes many of the rumors that she hears. She is like Spectra from Monster High. Nino could be Alya’s banshee boyfriend. But Nino would prefer making real music than just using his horrible scream like his ancestors. Chloe could be a mermaid that gains legs when she is dry. She would still have her giant ego since is one of the more “beautiful” monsters.

Some of my original characters will also be included once again. Lyon is a siren that only uses his hypnotic voice only on bullies or to just get people to leave him alone if they are insufferable. Vallia is a butterfly girl since she inherited a long lost trait of their family that descended from Eros and Psyche. Mason is a dragon and ice spirit hybrid, meaning that he looks like a dragon boy but with fire that freezes instead of burns. Apollo is a cupid and naiad hybrid, meaning he can summon wings of water while also being able to create love potion arrows. And Lena is a nymph/centaur hybrid, meaning she is half horse while also having nature powers. Other characters from the show would also be made into Monster High monsters as well. Marc is a satyr that loves to write. Luka is a siren while Juleka is his half sister who is a vampire. Kagami is the daughter of a Valkyrie general. Kim could be the son of a giant that actually has the power to grow or shrink as he sees fit. Nathaniel could be dryad that loves to draw using naturally made materials. Rose is a nymph. And Lila could be a harpy that usually lies and tells people she is an angel.

The main idea that I have is a salt fic that focuses more on Chloe Salt than Lila Salt. I still hate that liar, but I also hate Chloe since she is nothing but a spoiled brat that never faces any consequences for her actions.

So, Chloe believes that she is the queen bee of the school, with her zombie Sabrina minion always doing as Chloe wants no matter what it was. Her father could be the current ruler of a merpeople kingdom outside of Atlantis. So, she believes that she has some form of control over the school. And with the principal, the cowardly owl-man Damocles, and their main teacher, the victim-blaming and bully-coddling air spirit Bustier, both bending to her will, it makes her believe it even more.

Chloe has an extreme hatred of hybrids. She thinks that they are freaks of nature that do not belong in the world. So, when Lyon, Vallia, and their friends join their school, she is furious that they were allowed to attend. Her attitude only gets worse when the boy that she is obsessed with, Adrien, makes friends with them.

Adrien is actually very interested in the new students. He really likes how all of them were a type of hybrid. Even the Greek twins since both had siren and Olympian DNA inside of them even if Lyon was more siren and Vallia was more Olympian. He, Marinette, Alya, and Nino all are good friends with the the hybrids.

But the more that Adrien hangs out with the hybrids, the angrier that Chloe gets and the more she desires to have them out of the school. She tried to just go to the principal and demand that they all are expelled for the simple reason that they are hybrids. But since all of them are protected by the monster council of their home country, all of the still being from Greece, Damocles can not do what Chloe demands for once. And that only makes her want them gone even more.

All of them had already established that as long as she thought herself above everyone else, they would not even give her the time of day. And they had also been helping Adrien stand up to her more. The prime example when he actually yelled at her to stop jumping all over him and grabbing his arms even after all the times that he has told her that he hates it when she does it. And even when she still tries to do it after that, Adrien starts using his power to turn into light to get away from her.

Since the hybrids had arrived, it is made clear how little the other students actually think of Chloe. None of them like her, or are even scared of her since her father has no power over them or any of their monster kinds. Sabrina is the only person that even thinks that she is as great as Chloe brags about being. Chloe is forced to sit alone at lunch, with only Sabrina around, since everyone leaves whatever table she sits at.

And with the hybrids still in contact with their parents back in Greece, they all know about what has been happening at the Paris monster school. So, the Greek monster council starts to get involved. They bring the problem to the French council and they get involved with the school. That takes away Damocles’s power as now the other teachers no longer have to fear getting fired for punishing the mermaid menace. The other teachers start scolding her for her bullying nature while Bustier remains as the only one that still treats Chloe as a misunderstood angel. But that only gets her investigated as well by the council and monster school educational board.

As Chloe starts to get angrier and angrier, she actually goes up to the hybrids when they had been alone and demands that they all leave “by order of the merpeople kingdom.” But that only makes them laugh right in her face and tell her that they know that she does not have any real power in the school or even in her kingdom as well. There happens to be a merman on the French monster council and he goes to Chloe’s kingdom to set the government system there back to normal. Aka, they kick Chloe’s father out of office for abuse of power.

That really set off Chloe into a screaming tantrum saying that they had no right to interfere with “her reign” over the school. She calls them a bunch of anti-hybrid words. The recently hired new principal hears her and she is soon expelled.

Oh well, nobody liked her anyway.

And behind the scenes while Chloe was throwing her many tantrums, Lila was exposed as a harpy and not an angel by the hybrids. Since they were from Greece, they knew a harpy when they saw one. And maybe a hypnotic song by Lyon to force her to tell the truth had also helped. But he would only smirk instead of answering if he was ever asked about it.

So another one I haven't written because it would be long, is basically the Adrien goes jumping through Alternative Universes, and gets mounting evidence his father is probably Hawk Moth.

Essentially Adrien, probably as Chat Noir, but maybe as Adrien gets caught up in an akuma attack. The akumatised victim can't time travel per se but what they can do is jump to different timelines.

For handwavey reasons I haven't figured out Adrien gets pulled along for the ride.

Now sensibly it should be Ladybug with him. But instead this is set pre-Miracle Queen and...it's Chloé he wakes up untransformed with on the pavement.

She still has no idea he's Chat Noir and tries to take charge as Queen Bee, and since neither of them know what's going on they decide to retreat to his house b/c it's closer.

Unfortunately when they get there and Adrien rings at the gate whoever's on the other side of the camera isn't Nathalie and he recognises Adrien as Felix, and tells him M.Agreste's busy and Mme.Agreste's out.

At that last bit both kids panic and turn to leave, because Mme. Agreste???

So they figure they've time traveled/are dreaming/something. Chloé freaks out about her debit card working. Adrien tackles the "do I want to see my Mom when she's still gone at home?"

Only as they're about to leave they run into Nathalie.

With two kids.

And yeah it turns out?

Mme. Agreste?

Not Adrien's mom here.

Nathalie is suspicious of what the hell "Felix" is up to but Chloé transforms into Queen Bee and drops the "I'm a superhero" bombshell.

Which completely throws Nathalie b/c there's no superheroes in this Paris, and as both sides put together this is a different world, she also realises to her horror that Adrien is Adrien, not Felix.

Because both Emilie and Adrien died in a car crash years ago in this world.

Gabriel coped...badly, as in since he and Emilie either hadn't got the Miraculous at this point or hadn't worked them out, he wasn't aware of a way to save them.

Nathalie just about kept him functional enough the company didn't collapse, but honestly he did not get anywhere near getting his act together until their son was born

(He was an accident. They were not in anything resembling a functional relationship. Nathalie gave Gabriel an ultimatum that either he co-parented the baby or she'd cut him out of their lives completely. He one-upped her by deciding they'd get married. They had a very quiet ceremony)

Nathalie does not give them the full story of this world but the kids get the essentials. No Adrien or Emilie but also no Hawk Moth.

Per her, Gabriel is mostly alright these days, if a tiny bit obsessed with his attempts to get cars banned from the centre of Paris.

From what Adrien sees of his father (very little b/c Nathalie keeps them away from him), he thinks mostly alright is an understatement. He seems WAY better than the father he knows.

...................

But they're not there for much longer b/c they're thrown into another world.

Where Ladybug and Chat Noir do exist.

Only I think Chat Noir goes by a different name because...Chat Noir isn't Adrien.

He's Luka.

Here it's Gabriel Agreste who went missing.

I'm not sure if it was the Butterfly Miraculous that broke, or if he used the Peacock and Emilie the Butterfly.

I stopped writing this AU b/c of the pain of working out hero names.

But either way it's Emilie who's terrorising Paris here.

And unlike Gabriel she didn't keep what was happening secret from her son, and kept isolated in the mansion Adrien guiltily keeps her secret because how could he be so terrible a son to not want his father back?

And honestly he's kind of getting scared of what his mother's turning into?

And sometimes he looks out his window and catches sight of Ladybug and....well he feels regret.

Until Heroes Day comes around and terrified his mom's about to be caught he runs and puts the broken Miraculous on.

And now Emilie Agreste is fighting to save both her husband and her son.

Though unlike Gabriel with Nathalie she actually does take a lot of effort to ensure Adrien never steals it again.

The kids don't learn all of this, but they do learn which Agreste is missing, that the Hawk Moth equivalent here is a woman, the Mayura equivalent only turned up once, Adrien isn't Chat Noir, and that the last time Alt!Chloe saw him Adrien was sick.

Adrien is starting to note some worrying patterns regards his parents and Hawk Moth's existence.

Which is lucky b/c the next world they're in it turns out...Hawk Moth is a hero????

Ladybug and Chat Noir are the newest members of the Miraculous hero team Master Fu's put together against some other threat.

I think they're the only teen heroes here. Adrien's essentially in a Robin-type situation, and Tikki chose Marinette.

Unfortunately the Peacock Miraculous holder (Paris' Beloved Favourite Heroine) died two years ago. Here the Miraculous doesn't hurt the user...unless they use it to send out Amoks and then they take the damage their sentimonster does.

Emilie held on too long, and Gabriel's always blamed himself for her needing to do so and has started to get distracted from their fight b/c he's began to think, if magic can do this, then why can't it bring her back.

Worse the possible successors Emilie chose for herself (Lila and if not her then Felix) aren't deemed ready for the responsibility by Master Fu and the other adults.

Aren't Adrien and Marinette enough teenagers on this battlefield?

also both kids are way more self-centred than A&M

Nathalie uses it despite it not being a good fit in the Heroes Day type equivalent situation where Mayura is needed, and gets hurt. Gabriel freaks out b/c it's happening again. Nathalie thinks it's because she's not good enough in his eyes to wear his wife's Miraculous.

Alt!Adrien blithely tells Adrien about some of this, because it never occurred to him that Adrien wouldn't know his parents where Hawk Moth and [insert name here].

B/c after all this Adrien's also Chat Noir, and he seemed to recognised Hawk Moth.

Adrien and Gabriel also have a conflict in this world b/c alt!Adrien and alt!Marinette are falling for each other, and the last thing Gabe wants after his wife's death is for the same to happen to Adrien.

This is also where Chloe gets the "Adrien is Chat Noir" reveal.

...............

And then they're back in their world.

Marinette plus back-up managed to defeat the akuma somehow.

And now Adrien's left with the information that his dad is probably Hawk Moth and has to work out how to act on that.

Especially now he also knows that his dad can be a better father and a hero.

Settle down class," Ms. Bustier said as she vied her students attention. "I know it's very difficult to not be able to visit Marinette. But I must tell you again, her parents have strictly asked you not to go. I would like to remind you all to respect their wishes," she voiced. "But, Ms. Bustier, don't we have a right to visit her? She's our friend and we'd like to apologize for all the terrible things we've done," Alya blurted her concern. "We want to apologize for being too harsh on her," Kim added. "And for not believing her," Nino quietly said. "Please, Ms. Bustier, can you relay it to her parents," Alix suggested. This made their teacher smile but said, "Why not we wait for her to wake up? I heard that maybe in a few days she'll be able to regain her consciousness, so maybe you could all surprise her." This made the class cheer at the idea and began planning. They all seemed adamant to apologize to her, but for what reasons? Is it to make themselves feel better or do they genuinely feel the need they have wronged her? For them, they don't consider their actions as bullying, but simple mistreatment.

"Hold up children. Because of Marinette's incident, it has come to the Principal's attention that all of you would be taught about bullying, it's effects and signs," Ms. Bustier called their attention. This made them groan in chorus. "But we're not bullies. The only bully here is Chloé," Alya defended them as Chloe gave an insulted gasp. "Really Alya? That's very straightforward of you," a voice sounded from across the room. This made them all pause. Next came a shrill cackle as Castigare flew into the room carried by the furies, Alecto, Megaera and Tisiphone. This made the whole class gape at the girl.

"Lila?" Rose's small voice squeaked. "Silence!" Castigare shouted as she pointed her sceptre at the girl that made her zip Rose's lips tight. "I'm no longer Lila, I'm Castigare and it's time for your judgement!" she bellowed at them. "Wow, real classic Lila. You willingly accepted another akuma," Alya challenged as she was live streaming. This just made her laugh more as she looked at the girl with hatred in her eyes. "You're actually listening to all the things Marinette told you. I was wondering when you would catch up. But given how blinded you were I shouldn't have expected more, Rena Rouge," Castigare emphasized. This made Alya's sweat go cold as she felt all her classmates' eyes were on her now.

"No wonder Ladybug quit and Lady Luck didn't call you back. Ha! They must've heard since news travel fast. Oh wait, who was out again who got you the exclusive interview with Ladybug? Ah yes, you told me that it was Marinette right, of course Ladybug would know," Castigare continued to twist the knife as she released another cackle. "And you expected me to give you another exclusive interview. Hadn't you caught up yet with all my lame excuses?" she continued as she cackled at the end. "By the way, do continue streaming because I'd love to let everyone in Paris know about my lies as I expose myself and the pettiness of all their 'temporary heroes'," she says with enthusiasm as she turned to Nino wanting to have Alya be the last one to punish.

"Oh sweet hopeful Nino, I'm sure Spielberg would love to have a talk with you. Oh wait, I don't know him. And I'm sure Adrien knew him, but instead you cut ties with him for me, such a good boy Carapace," she annoyingly said making everyone gasp. She then pointed the sceptre at him and made it hit the floor he was sitting on. All of a sudden, Nino's body was engulfed by a large mass of ice that encased him and thickened to the width of his betrayal to both Adrien and Marinette. This made them all to want to scatter, unfortunately Castigare will not be having it. Her next target was Sabrina and Chloé. She transformed Sabrina into a demon as the ground beneath Chloé's get turned into tar and she fell right into it with a cry of pain. But every time she'd try to go out Sabrina would attack her and drop her back in. "Suits you perfectly Queen Bee," Castigare mockingly stated.

She then turned to their teacher and immediately set her ablaze from the inside mostly on her tongue and mouth. "Suits you well Ms. Bustier, don't you think? You have been filling all our heads with nothing but kindness and false promises. You never taught us what the real world would be like. A world full of lies and traitors!" Castigare shouted at the poor teacher. But as she was about to continue her punishing she found that almost everyone was gone except for those she had punished and Lady Luck and Monsieur Noir. "Glad that both of you could finally join. I have a more painful punishment install for both of you!" she heralded as she pointed her sceptre at the two.

Both of them quickly jumped out of the way as Lady Luck aimed her yo-yo at the sceptre in attempt to catch it. However, Castigare was quicker than any other akuma. She immediately pulled out towards her making Lady Luck to retract her yo-yo and jump opposite to Monsieur Noir. "Give us your akuma Castigare. You know that you're not going to get your message through them this way," Monsieur Noir reasoned. "We could do this the easy way or the hard way," Lady Luck added as she menacingly spinned her yo-yo. This made Castigare laugh as she looked at the two. "You are as pathetic as Ladybug and Chat Noir. Always trying to reason with an akuma even though you know it's hopeless," she cried. The two then simultaneously attacked her from both sides. Castigare, on the other hand, placed both her hands on top of her sceptre and tapped the tip on the floor. This caused all types of creatures and demons from Dante Alighieri's Inferno to be released and stalked for its prey. The leopard, lion and she-wolf, began protecting her from the two miraculous holders.

As the two were being occupied, a purple butterfly mask appeared on her face. "Don't forget your end of the deal," Hawkmoth reminded. "Don't worry too much Hawkmoth, my pets will take care of them. I still have some unfinished business with Marinette Dupain-Cheng," she demanded as she looked at them struggling one last time. "Do not let them escape! I still need them for my end of the bargain!" she ordered as she called on Geryon to aid on her trip to visit Marinette.

Who will be the next Hawk Moth?

Alright, well there’s a lot of different theories on who will be “the next Hawk Moth”. So I wanted to do a break down on some possibilities (warning: this analysis is REALLY long lol)

Lila

I feel like Lila is very likely to be the next one. She already has a leg up in working with Gabriel (despite not knowing he’s Hawk Moth).

Even though Hawk Moth hasn’t reached his goal of getting Ladybug and Cat Noir’s miraculouses, he’s made good progress. With Lila’s help, he’s gotten PRETTY damn close to getting them since she has that deep hatred of Ladybug. Without her, he wouldn’t have had his invasion of scarlet moths possessing Paris.

Additionally, Lila is pretty full of herself and does just about everything for her own benefit. She could easily grow a bigger hatred towards Ladybug and find out about the benefits of their miraculouses to have her own wish granted.

It’s really difficult to see her as a redeemable character since she has yet to show any redeemable qualities. But, hey, maybe there will be a plot twist where she’ll change her ways.

Chloe

As much as I’d LOVE to see Chloe develop into a better person since we see she is the way she is, I don’t have too much faith in Thomas Astruc’s writing.

Thomas initially started Chloe off as the annoying and conceited bully, then she started seeing the error of her ways, and finally...she was pulled back to square one.

It’s obvious that Chloe is pretty strong. She knows Hawk Moth is evil and has fought off an akuma even when she was super angry with Ladybug. However, Hawk Moth IS a rather powerful man and was able to akumatize Chloe on many occasions. She became his most successful akumatized victim as Miracle Queen. I feel like the fandom doesn’t talk enough about how Chloe managed to get almost ALL the miraculous holders to reveal their identities. (Don’t come for Hawk Moth in saying he hasn’t made a lot of progress - he HAS.)

The main issue with Chloe is that she can easily be manipulated into doing things for Hawk Moth because she has that disliking for Ladybug, deep down. She doesn’t want to hate Ladybug but obviously it’s been tough since she won’t let Chloe have her bee miraculous, and being Queen Bee is very important to her. Chloe wants to be powerful and heroic to feel good about herself since her mom doesn’t see her as something special (which is awful, I feel so bad for Chloe, honestly.)

Even though the likelihood is there, I really don’t want Chloe to become the next Hawk Moth. In season 4, it’d be nice to see some of her character development come back, and hopefully her and her mom build a stronger relationship now that Audrey has decided to stay in Paris with the family. Thomas Astruc needs to make Chloe better but KEEP it that way. She’s shown redeemable qualities and we know why she acts the way that she does. There’s a ridiculous amount of potential for her to be a wonderful, well-rounded character instead of just the evil bully Thomas makes her out to be.

Felix

So far, we’ve only seen Felix in one episode, but we already have a good idea of what he’s like. He’s very manipulative as a form of coping with his father’s death.

Felix already has a bit of a vendetta against Gabriel for keeping Emilie’s family heirlooms, and managed to steal them from Gabriel. He also wasn’t very nice to Adrien in pretending to be him and attempting to hurt his friendships. All of those things Felix did just prove he’d make a *good* villain.

My theory is that he’ll come back for at least one more episode, since he took the wedding rings that were very precious to Gabriel. However, it’s kind of strange to me that Felix hasn’t even been mentioned since his debut episode. So, we will see if this devilish boy makes a comeback.

Adrien

People have had this theory a while back, but it’s just incredibly unlikely at this point.

Adrien cares deeply about his mom and wants her back, of course. However, we see in Cat Blanc that he tried to cataclysm his own father for what he’s done. He was so hurt by his father’s motives, he triggered the end of the world.

There could potentially be an episode where Adrien hears his father out and tries the butterfly miraculous out for himself, but Bunnyx would come out of her burrow and shut that shit down.

OR, we know Gabriel is an awful father and he could somehow manipulate his own son to take his spot as Hawk Moth. (But again, Bunnyx could easily shut this down, too.)

Adrien loves being Cat Noir; he’s shown to be the Cat Noir in the future. He has an extremely good heart. So they’ve pretty much denied Adrien becoming the new Hawk Moth, at this point.

Luka

I think this is the most interesting idea I’ve seen on who the next Hawk Moth will be. (I recommend watching Cat Blanc x Princess Justice’s YouTube video analysis on this. It’s really good! I mention some of her points in here.)

Luka is almost too nice of a character. He cares a lot about other people and just sort of lets Marinette take advantage of his kindness, which is really sad, BUT there could easily be a motive we don’t know behind that, or he’s secretly bothered by it deep down.

There’s that theory that Luka knows Marinette is Ladybug. He could be trying to get closer to her to take the miraculous from her since he might know the power the ladybug and black cat miraculous hold.

Or, like I mentioned before, if Luka is bothered deep down by Marinette’s romantic feelings for Adrien, there could be something that happens that pushes him over the edge. We’ve even seen that Luka makes a terrifying villain as Silencer. He was super manipulative and had a lot of good tactics. Ladybug and Cat Noir DID in fact have a really hard time fighting him. Luka is also not the type of person to get angry like that, but Hawk Moth needs STRONG emotion to feed off of. So, considering how powerful of a villain Luka was, there’s clearly some anger boiling within him.

We also don’t have that much of a backstory to work off of. We’re slowly learning more, but think about it, for instance, we don’t know who his father is. Some people have theorized it’s Jagged Stone but we’re REALLY not sure. So, maybe it’s a motive of his to find his father.

Thomas Astruc made Luka a very likable character, enough so to get most of the fandom to actually like the Lukanette ship. Luka could have been made purposely likable so that the fandom won’t believe that he will be the next villain.

Another good point Cat Blanc x Princess Justice had made was that Miraculous World made a tweet that Miraculous will be introducing a new villain in season 4 - but it’s a character we already know. Lila and Felix are already known BUT they’re also already well-established villains....

Kagami

If Luka is a possibility, so is Kagami. Half the fandom thinks Kagami is great, the other half thinks she’s awful.

Kagami is shown to have a very strong personality (that sometimes comes off as a bit threatening). She’s very blunt about everything, very uptight, doesn’t beat around the bush. Those three characteristics are similar to Gabriel, HOWEVER Kagami has a caring soul and she really wants to be good to Adrien and Marinette.

So, it’s possible, but unlikely and definitely hard to pinpoint what intentions she could possibly have of becoming a villain. Maybe her mother pinches a certain nerve, or she can’t understand why Adrien doesn’t love her.

Additionally, Thomas Astruc doesn’t cut Adrien a lot of slack, let’s be real here. Adrien’s father is already Hawk Moth, he could switch it to his “girlfriend” being Hawk Moth.

Alya

So, I have a bit of an interesting theory on this since I haven’t really seen anyone else mention anything about Alya potentially becoming bad.

Despite Alya/Rena Rouge having a strong bond and trust with Ladybug, there’s that possibility she still wants to unveil who Ladybug really is - she still runs The Ladyblog, after all. And of course, unveiling Ladybug’s identity is extremely dangerous. She even posted the museum exhibit to her blog in Feast, which she didn’t realize was dangerous. It shows that she might slip and reveal something that she shouldn’t have.

Or, maybe Alya manages to lose Ladybug’s trust. Something monumental could happen. There’s already that bit of danger surrounding Ladybug and Rena Rouge since they’re such close friends in real life and know nearly everything about each other.

Hawk Moth also now knows that Alya is Rena, and could do something to push her to reveal something on The Ladyblog, therefore turning her into a villain.

Also, Alya already knows SO much of the Ladybug lore. She’s dedicated so much time to researching the lore behind the miraculouses. Also pretty dangerous and suspicious.

Nino

Like Alya, there’s a chance Nino also loses Ladybug and/or Cat Noir’s trust. When Nino first got his miraculous, he wasn’t very good at acting like a different person in his superhero persona. He could easily slip and reveal an something he isn’t supposed to.

He is the least likely possibility, but not completely impossible.

Tom or Sabine

I put these two in the same excerpt because they have about the same amount of likeliness to be the next Hawk Moth (or maybe one is Hawk Moth and the other is Mayura 👀)

Tom and Sabine are both super sweet, but also, we don’t know a whole lot about them. Since Gabriel - father of sweet cinnamon roll hero Cat Noir - is Hawk Moth, who’s to say superhero Ladybug’s own parents couldn’t become evil? It’d create a super interesting dynamic in the plot because it’s like how would Marinette react if one of her parents was Hawk Moth?

I have a stronger theory that Tom and Sabine used to be the old Ladybug and Cat Noir, but still. Don’t put it past Thomas Astruc to trick us somehow.

How would Gabriel fail (or lose his miraculous)?

One last thing I’d also like to analyze relating to this is this question.

Does Gabriel NOT end up ever getting Ladybug and Cat Noir’s miraculouses? Let’s look over some possibilities:

1) One of the villains he creates or senti-monsters Nathalie creates becomes too powerful and doesn’t give him the miraculouses once they’re captured.

2) He gives up and realizes all he needs is his dearest son Adrien.

3) He gets sickly and can’t fight anymore and passes on his miraculous for someone else to do the job.

4) Simplest answer: His miraculous is stolen.

Amira Wayne - Chapter 13

I’m alive! Here’s day 14 of @biodad-bruce-month event (even tho it ended already)!

Chapter 13: Dating/Love

“Wait, I could just do that?” Chat exclaimed, looking at the akuma that crumbled under his hand.

It was another day without Ladybird, but Chat and Bee were able to handle the past two akumas with ease and with little damage.

The first time around, the duo met with Ladybird’s kwami Tikki to help purify the akuma. But after witnessing Tikki eat the akuma before spitting it right out purified...let’s just say the duo were left a bit traumatized.

Not wanting to see that again, Chat and Bee decided to look for alternate ways to purify an akuma. Or at least get rid of them before causing more trouble.

“Wait, how did you not know?” Bee asked.

“Never tried.” Chat said with a slight shrug. “Which reminds me, I have to tell LB something after this.”

Queen Bee noticed how Chat frowned, his eyes becoming dull.

“You too?” Bee asked, watching as Chat’s ring was down to its last pad.

“Wait, what do you mean by ‘you too’?”

“I have to leave for the States in a few weeks. Something about having to keep appearances and the sorts.” Bee huffed, watching the Parisian sky starting to darken.

“What are the odds? I also have business in the States, although it’s more about business than appearances in my case.”

“Seeing as the two of us have to tell LB, how about we tell her the news together?” Bee suggested.

“Sounds like a plan. Although it has to wait for some other day. Right now, I have a meeting to attend, so later!”

Queen Bee watched as Chat Noir left the training grounds in a hurry, noticing the fake smile plastered on his face.

“You’re being dragged into it too, aren’t you?”

“Morning.” Marinette told Adrien and Chloé, much to the surprise of everyone else in the class.

How did the trio become friends overnight? And wasn’t Marinette best friends with Alya?

“Marinette. The sun is out, I’m having a great hair day and all you can say is morning?” Chloé huffed. “Good morning to you too.”

“Hello Marinette! Feeling any better?” Adrien decided to ignore Chloe, Marinette nodding.

“To be honest, a bit. Still got to take my medication and rest, but staying in bed won’t do me any good.”

Amira recalled the text message she received this morning, her father asking her how she was.

Selina had filled him in when he called back, telling him about the situation. Amira also learned of his visit through the baker’s surveillance cameras.

While she had told him that she didn’t care what he did, it hurt to see that he came to visit her.

Then again...what right did she have to feel sad that he didn’t try to talk to her when she’s already pushed him?

“-to Marinette. You see Adrikins? I’m telling you, she needs to stay-“

“He could’ve at least let me have known he came over.” Chloé and Adrien found Marinette mumbling, a frown on her face.

“He? Did someone-“ Adrien started only for Miss Bustier to walk into the class and start the class.

Chloe watched as Marinette zoned out during their first class, watching as Alya didn’t bother to check in with her supposed ‘best’ friend.

Marinette continued to zone out throughout the entire morning and then acting if nothing was wrong once lunch came around.

It bothered Chloe so much and she didn’t know. Why did it bother her to see Marinette act as if she wasn’t in pain when it was clear as day?

“Ladybird!” Chat called out, snapping Bee from her thoughts. It’s been three days since she last saw Ladybird, watching as their leader greeted them with a slight smile on her face. “Feeling better?”

Deja vu much?

“Chat. Bee. I’ve been doing well. Master Fu gave me the okay to return back to patrolling despite not wanting me being here.”

“How come?” Bee asked, looking out to the Parisian skyline. Tonight, it seemed foreign.

“One word: Hawkmoth.” Ladybird stated, watching as her partners looked at her with narrowed eyes. “If I stay for too long out of commission, not only will we be giving him more answers about the miraculous, but he’ll know our weakness.”

“But-”

“He’s probably caught up with the most recent information regarding the damage left behind from Dark Owl. Can’t exactly hide the evidence left behind at the stadium and his office.”

Ladybird watched as Bee and Chat nervously laughed at that, remembering the large pile of rust left at the stadium and the amount of tech to clean out of Principal Damocles’ office.

“Do you think he knows about you and-” Bee started, only to stop when LB nodded.

“He might know I’m not suited for the Ladybug, but there are also other possibilities.”

“Which are?”

“I’m like him.” Ladybird bluntly stated, getting titled heads for a reaction. “I have another life outside the mask that makes me mia.”

“Wouldn’t that apply to all of-”

“Not exactly. The two of you are mostly active, always at the scene as soon as possible. As for me, I don’t usually appear until minutes later or until halfway. That can mean many things. One, I’m a sickly person outside the mask, therefore I take longer to arrive. Or similarly, I live a little bit outside of Paris, thus making me tardy. Third-”

“You might be an adult,” Bee stated, watching Chat look at LB with large eyes. What did he figure out?

“Or you might be someone of a high standing who can’t afford to leave their place in society to fight him, a man who has all the time to be ready to akumatize someone at a moment’s notice.”

Guess LB wasn’t expecting that answer, judging from her taken back expression.

“Right on. To think you got it on your first try.”

“Wait, you’re rich?” Bee screeched out, looking at Chat for back up. “I mean, that would explain the burner phones, the equipment at the- you have the money to buy out an entire floor!”

“Yes Bee. I’m rich, although it’s my father who’s rich and was stupid enough to forget to take away my black card.”

“You have a black card?” LB and Chat watched as Bee continued to freak out.

“What’s a black card?” Chat decided to ask, earning concerned faces from the girls. “What?”

“How do you not know what a black card is, Chat! It’s literally the symbol of being filthy rich! Not even Daddy has one!” Bee exclaimed, promptly shutting her mouth.

“You’re rich too, Bee? Wow. To think we all come from a-”

“You’re rich too?” The girls exclaimed, the trio bursting into laughter.

The three chatted for hours, learning more about themselves. Time went on, the three kids laughing and holding their stomachs as they told tales of their past and of the present. However, Bee picked up on the way Ladybird avoided talking about her father and urged the other two to talk.

What was she hiding?

“Does that make us the rich kid club?” Chat asked, earning a stifled laugh from LB and a ‘seriously?’ look from Bee. “What? It seems fitting!”

“As much as I’d like to continue to stay and talk, I think we should be heading home. It’s one in the morning and I have class tomorrow.” Bee and Chat nodded in agreement, the three bidding each other farewell.

“So two days, huh.” Amira hummed, watching as Selina packed her bag. While it was two in the morning, Amira thought it would be best to drop by and visit Selina. The talk with her team left her in a giddy state, Amira wondering why she even came here.

“Actually, I might be leaving tomorrow evening.”

“Why?” While Amira still wasn’t particularly fond of the woman, she felt a part of her wanted Selina to stay. Perhaps it was the fact that Selina had been by her side these past few days.

Or the denial that continued to linger in Amira. That she enjoyed Selina’s concern over her.

While Selina was by her side, Amira didn’t have restless nights where she would wake up from dreams she couldn’t remember. But from what Sabine had told her, Amira used to have nights where she would be waking up screaming and calling out Jason’s name like a madwoman.

But ever since Selina came over, they stopped happening. “What made you-”

“The gala was pushed forward towards this month. Towards Thanksgiving.”

“Why would-”

“Dick had made the decision to push it forward after getting a phone call in regards to the main event of this year’s gala.”

“Main event?” Amira asked, now wondering what type of event caused Dick to push up the date of the gala. What event caused her father to accept the change of date from it’s usually wintery day?

“This year, Bruce was eagerly planning the main event with such pride, making sure everything was perfect to announce the main event. But then, Jason’s...Jason’s death happened and-

“The Catherine Todd Foundation.” Amira whispered, feeling her heart stop.

That’s right. How did she forget? How dare she forget? How dare she forget her brother’s dream?

“That’s right.” Selina closed her suitcase shut. “Bruce was planning to reveal the latest Wayne foundation-Jason’s foundation- that he had planned for months.”

“That was planned...for this year’s gala?” Amira asked, feeling her mouth dry.

Her father didn’t utter a word about it. Nor did Dick. Did...did they not-

“Amira. Amira, look at me.” Selina coaxed, cupping Amira’s face into her hands. “Dick just found out about it when he got a call about one of the sponsors. The sponsor wanted to change the date to make sure-”

“Why didn’t he tell me about it?” Amira whispered, feeling something roll down her face, salt meeting her lips. “Why did no one-”

“Amira, kitten. Dick hasn’t called you in a while, right?” A slow nod. “He’s been busy setting up the gala in your father’s steed. Bruce...your father holed himself again in his study when he found out the sponsor had called in. He...he had forgotten about it. It slipped his mind after-”

“He could’ve called me so I could’ve helped him rework the-”

“Amira.”

“I could've helped!”

“Amira, Dick couldn’t-“

“You wouldn’t understand Selina! You don’t know-“

“I do.” Selina said softly, holding Amira’s trembling hands. “Just like you, I loved the brat to pieces.”

“You’ve...you loved Jason?”

“Sure, we didn’t get on the right foot, but I did go to love the boy. Little brat loved to play dirty. Remember he endangered his life once just so I would catch him and make me drop my guard.”

“Sounds just about him.” Amira softly said, Selina picking up on her relaxation. “Jason liked playing dirty, no matter who he was up against. Once he popped his arm off its socket during one of our sparring lessons, which caused me to stop fighting. When I went to check on him, he popped it back in and won the match.

Even though I knew he was alright, I started bawling and hugged him. Father and Alfred came running to see what had happened and when Jason told him what he had done, Father scolded him. ‘Sometimes, you have to play dirty. A fight in Gotham will never be fair and square, old man. You, better than anyone else, should know that.’” Amira said with a smile. “He’d always use that against Father and would win his case. Or perhaps Father let him, knowing that using those tricks would help in a fight one day.”

“And it did, although it mostly grossed out Riddler when he saw Jason do that. Should’ve seen the look at his face.” Selina said with a chuckled, reminiscing that day.

“I would rather have Jason back than wishing to have seen that.” Amira admitted, looking at Selina with unshed tears. “Jason… Jason was the glue that held us together. He was the one who brought us together, so when...when he died...we...we-” a shuddering breath escaped Amira. “We fell apart...

Dad became so broken that he began to isolate himself from us. He would shut himself in his study for hours and from what Dick told me - days! When I was still in the manor, we wouldn’t see him at dinner nor would we hear from him unless he came back home frustrated from a work meeting.

He no longer made time for us. For Dick...nor me. He allowed himself to drown in his work, both as CEO of WE and Batman”

“Amira.” Selina softly said, wiping away the tears that had been running down Amira’s face.

“When I finally got to talk to him again...it was to tell me I was being sent to Paris.

He didn’t even let me say goodbye to anyone, not even Jason...

He was at it again. He was isolating me again, but this time to a place where I couldn’t do anything no matter what I tried. I would have no friends to help me, nor connections to help me break out of my father’s control. The only option I was left with was to obey.”

“But Amira, you have friends now. You have people you can lean on. So why? Why can’t you-”

“It was all Jason.” Amira said. “Jason managed to convince Father to let me explore the outside, not me.

Jason was the one who made Dad understand that I shouldn't be kept inside like a trophy bird. That I should be allowed to spread my wings, to grow. How did he do it? I would never know, but I wish he had shown me how.

I only knew how to yell and scream to get what I wanted. I wasn’t like Jason who proved he was right, who fought for what he deemed just.”

“Amira, you don’t have to keep-”

“I do, Selina! I do!” Amira cried, digging her hands into her hair. “My father won’t see nor talk to me otherwise if I don’t! Father never understood the damage he’s done to me unless I show it to him. He’s...he’s!”

Selina pulled Amira into a hug, feeling the girl stiffen in her hold. Selina held the girl tight against her, letting tears run down her face that she didn’t know she was holding back.

To hear the amount of pain she was holding in, the amount of troubles she had to deal with...and to think Bruce was the cause of the majority of it.

“Your feelings are valid Amira, your frustrations are as well. But trust me when I say, things will get better and you’re already doing a wonderful job of moving forward.” Selina began to stroke Amira’s hair when she felt Amira tremble. “It may seem as if the situation isn’t getting any better, but it is due to your efforts of wanting to change it.

So give yourself a break and just let it all out. I’ll make sure to protect while you do.”

That was all Amira needed to let herself cry out her heart, hugging Selina back as she wailed her soul out.

Selina drew circles on her back as she sat there, making sure to not let Amira go.

How did Bruce let it get this bad?

“You’re going to the States?” Marinette asked, looking up from her calendar in her planner.

It’s been two days since Amira last saw Selina, already missing her. It took everything in her to not beg her to stay. To not leave her...but she knew better than that. She had to leave and Amira had to respect that.

So here she was, letting her mind try to forget Selina’s warm hug and the calmness she felt when Selina hugged her.

“Yup!” Adrien said with a smile that Marinette could look through from a mile away.

“Adrien and I were both invited to some event that our parents want us to attend, something about having to keep images and whatnot.” Chloe elaborated, noticing the last Thursday in the month circled in red. What a coincidence. “As happy as I am that my mother called me, I didn’t want it to be this way.”

“At least she gave you the choice. My father is threatening me with going or not being able to leave the house again.” Adrien bluntly stated, flinching when Marinette narrowed her eyes. “Baguette, what’s-“

“He threatened you? Your father threatened you?” Chloé and Adrien could feel the murderous intent seeping from the girl. “Let me talk with-“

“Baguette! It’s alright! I told him I’ll do it on a few conditions!” Adrien practically scrambled the details out. He watched as Marinette softened a bit.

“Conditions?”

“For starters, he’ll let me go with Chloé. No Nathalie nor Gorilla. Second, he will not be allowed to contact me nor Chloé. If I need his help or if I want to go back, I have to be the one to call him back. Third and final one, if I manage to settle a meeting between him and one of the people he told me to make contact with, he has to agree to let me do whatever I want for the rest of the year.”

“Wow Adrikins. Since when did you start stepping up towards your dad?”

“Since I realized that my so-called freedom is still being controlled. If I fully want to be free, I have to start by loosening my father’s control over me. So far, I’ve been seeing results from my efforts. I don’t plan on backing down until I fully achieve my goal.”

Marinette watched as Adrien smiles proudly, not being able to hold back her own smile.

“Hope you reach it Adrien. I know it’ll be worth it. So then, when’s the event?”

“It’s in three weeks, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Adrien and I will be attending Wayne Gala.”

Ladybird looked at Bee and Chat with the same look she had given Adrien and Chloé.

“The both of you? The two of you are going to be mia in three weeks?” Ladybird asked in disbelief, watching as the two of them rubbed the back of their heads. First Chole and Adrien and now these two? “Do you realize-“

“It’s why we’re telling you now and not later this week or next. We know-“

“Do you really?” Ladybird growled, huffing as she turned around, the Parisian night staring right back at her. “I’m sorry. I shouldn't have-“

“No, you’re right.” Chat said, Ladybird picking up on his sorrow. “It is stupid of us to leave you-“

“Master Fu.” Ladybird casually said, looking at Bee and Chat. “I can ask Master Fu to see what I can do.”

“Master Fu?” Bee asked, looking at Chat for clarification.

“Oh right, you’ve never heard about him. He’s the one who chooses the wielders for the miraculouses. He’s the one who chose Ladybird and me. As for you, you were recommended to be a wielder as I vouched for Rena Rouge to be a temporary holder.”

“Wait. I was recommended to-“

“I recommended Master Fu to give you a miraculous. However, that doesn’t mean I fully know your identity. I did recommend two people to become Pollen’s holder after all.” Ladybird looked at Bee who was on the verge of tears. “Guess Master Fu chose the better of the two and I’m glad he did. You’re a great partner.”

Bee ran and threw herself at Ladybird, the two girls tumbling to the floor as Chat just stood there smiling.

“I promise to make up for the time we miss!”

“Don’t worry about it Bee. The two of you shouldn’t worry about a thing. Everything will turn out alright. You’ll see.”

No. Everything didn’t turn out alright.

The day came where Chat and Bee bid LB a temporary goodbye and Adrien and Chloe boarded a plane towards Gotham. The minute they said goodbye, Amira grew restless, uneasy.

It didn’t help that this uneasiness traversed towards her civilian life as well.

As she walked into the school, it felt like if everyone was watching her every move, judging her.

It was Gotham Academy all over again...

Wally had assured it that it was going to be fine, that she was worrying over nothing.

But Amira knew better than to ignore the emptiness she felt in her chest.

Sure, Alya talked her ears off, but Marinette didn’t like the feeling of emptiness around her despite Alya’s clear company.

Without Chloé and Adrien, everything just seemed...off.

She didn’t realize their importance until chemistry class.

She watched people get into pairs as Miss Mendeleiev finished telling her instructions for today’s lab. With the clap of her hands, everyone started to pair up...except her.

“Miss Mendeleiev. I don’t seem to have a partner. If it’s alright, can I-“

“No partner?” Miss Mendeleiev asked, realizing only then that three of her students were out. “I can’t just let you do the lab by yourself Marinette. It’s unsafe.”

“Miss Mendeleiev, I am fine being on my-“

“Now, now. You know that in my lab, no one is allowed to touch the chemicals without a partner.” Miss Mendeleiev clapped her hands to get the class’ attention. “While it seems like everyone has a partner, Marinette doesn’t. Now, who would love to have her in their group or volunteers to be Marinette’s partner?”

Marinette’s didn’t need to turn around to know no one raised their hand.

After all, she was always doing labs with Sabrina or Alya, although this time around, Alya had promised Alix to be her lab partner. That left Marinette to be partnerless this time around.

“So no one is going to volunteer? That’s alright. Nino, please help Marinette with this lab. Kim, join Ivan and Mylène.”

Marinette heard as Nino approached her, turning slowly to avoid seeing everyone else pity him.

“Look forward to working with you.” Marinette said with a slight bow, only to receive nothing in return.

Seems like this would be a long lab.

Or not.

Marinette somehow ended up talking up a storm with Nino.

“You do parkour?” Nino asked, looking as if Marinette grew a second head. “No offense, you don’t even look like the type-“

“Parkour, gymnastics and martial arts. Of course, I haven’t touched gymnastics in a while since my mentor has been busy. Doesn’t help that he’s on the other side of the world.” Marinette said, pouring the hydrogen peroxide into the water and then into the catalase test tube. She watched as the latter created bubbles.

“Dudette, that’s amazing!” Nino exclaimed, opening up his notebook to the back of his page.

“Dudette?” Marinette looked at the page he opened, noticing some notes about a personal project. How did she come to that conclusion? Simple. It said ‘Directed by Nino Lahiffe.’

“Ah, I should’ve asked if-“

“It’s fine. Just taken aback by the name since it’s my first time hearing it.”

“Really? What do your friends call you then?”

“My brother calls Mimi and my friend calls me Bugette.”

“Alya calls you Bugette?” Nino asked, writing down his observations of the catalase in boiling water.

“As much as Alya thinks she’s my friend, she isn’t quite there. And it’s Wally who calls me Bugette. He’s a friend of mine before I transferred here.” Marinette elaborated, sliding her notebook towards him. “Haven’t spoken to him in a few days though.”

“Alright class!” Miss Mendeleiev said with a clap of her hands. “At this time, start wrapping up your workstation! Make sure to properly rinse out the tubes and place them into their appropriate-“

“Marinette. Is it alright to call you dudette? Of course, if you don’t-“

“I’m fine with it.” Marinette told him with a smile. “I don’t mind being called dudette, Nino.”

“-only known her for 30 minutes. How can you say that she wasn’t doing all the work so that-” Marinette heard as she approached the windows that belonged to her classroom. She stopped before they could see her through the glass.

If her ears didn’t betray her, the one speaking right now was-

“Alix, she wasn’t doing all the work. We both did the lab toget-”

“She’s friends with Chloe.” Ivan added.

“How do you expect us-”

“You didn’t try to even get to know her. Yes, I also didn’t want to interact with her before being paired up with her, but now I wish I did. I wish I had talked to her earlier on in the school year and you guys should too! She’s-”

“You shouldn’t pressure others to try and talk to me Nino.” Marinette said, strolling into the classroom. “Let them take their time to try and approach me.” Marinette handed Nino a piece of paper. “I also looked into a few things you mentioned earlier and thought I should give you this. They’re always giving out free courses and workshops, so I thought I should let you know.”

Nino looked at the paper Marinette gave him and was surprised to see a list of different companies and dates in which they held workshops for upstarting directors.

Just as he was about to ask where she had gotten the information from, the bell rang, signaling the beginning of the next class.

Amira wishes she was able to escape Anansi’s punches just as quickly as she was able to bolt out the classroom earlier that day.

Amira had been trying to call Wally, trying to get any info on her two friends who should’ve have arrived at Gotham when her phone began to yell ‘AKUMA ALERT.’

So having to leave her worries behind, Amira yelled ‘SPOTS ON’ as she headed towards Hawkmoth’s latest Victim.

Rolling away from Anansi’ punches and parrying them took a toll on Ladybird, feeling the air leave her body as she was slammed onto the ferris wheel structure.

Managing to find a safe space within an alleyway, Ladybird reached for her burner phone when she was reminded of her dilemma.

Her two partners were away...she told them not to worry…

“Here you are!” Anansi roared, striking the alleyway where Ladybird was hiding, causing the vigilante to become airborne. As Ladybird crashed onto the pavement, the transformation was called off, Tikki opening her mouth to scold Amira for dropping her transformation when she promptly closed her mouth.

Calling her transformation off, when she crashed onto the pavement and scrambled her way towards another alley.

“Tikki, go to Master Fu.”

“But-” Amira looked at Tikki with stern eyes.

“Tikki, go and don’t worry about me. I don’t have super strength but that doesn’t mean I don’t have a plan.”

“Amira.” Tikki whimpered.

“You now what we have to do. Now go!” Taking one last look at Amira, Tikki flew off.

“Please be safe Amira. Please, don’t do anything reckless.”

“Come on Little Bug! Is that all you got?” Anansi smugly said, cracking her knuckles as she watched Ladybird wipe off the blood that seeped from her mouth.

Spitting out a bit of blood, Amira grinned. Beads of sweat rolled down her face, something Amira didn’t know she missed dearly.

“Did you really think that was my best? Come on Anansi, I thought it was pretty obvious what was going on here.”

“What are you talking about?” Anansi growled, noticing someone land behind Ladybird. Anansi watched as Ladybird glew red and healed her wounds. “You!”

“That’s right Anansi.” Ladybird grinned. “My backup is here. Carapace!”

“On it!” Carapace yelled, throwing his shield towards Anansi.

With a simple step to the side, Anansi was able to dodge it, only to get her foot wrapped by Ladybird, slipping backward as her back connected with the ground.

Carapace tried to land a hit, but missed when Anansi rolled to the side, but was then dragged towards Ladybird.

Swinging her foot to the side, Anansi shook Ladybird off when she noticed the makeshift ring around her.

How did they set that up? Who set it up when she was bust fending of both Ladybird and Carapace.

“Up for a round Anansi? Or are you afraid of losing against someone half your size and weight?” Ladybird challenged, the smug on her face fanning the annoyance within Anansi.

“You’re on Bug. Can’t wait to beat you and show you that a bug should never mess with a spider!”

“Come on Anansi! I thought you said this match will be over in one punch! Oh wait a minute! You can’t even land one!” Ladybird said in a haughty tone, causing Anansi to lunge at her, sending one final punch onto the Arc de Triomphe.

Anansi felt as the ground began to shake, only then realizing the trap Ladybird set down for her.

Grabbing something from the ground, Ladybird grabbed hold of Carapace and brought them to where Alya was being held hostage.

“Carapace, now!”

“Shellter!” Carapace yelled, shielding them as the Arc de Triomphe crumpled to the ground, trapping Anansi underneath.

Once the debris settled and the dust settled, Anansi’s headgear appeared by Ladybird’s feet, causing Ladybird to smile. Gleefully, Ladybird slammed her yo-yo against the thing and cracked it, the akuma emerging from it.

Capturing the akuma and purifying it, Ladybird yelled her words. “Miraculous Ladybug!”

Carapace watched with wonder as all the damage Anansi caused was repaired, the Arc de Triomphe restored before his eyes. “Meet me at the Eiffel Tower,” he heard Ladybird say before she swung away.

Ladybird stood at the Eiffel Tower, looking at the setting sun in the distance. She had yet to receive a call from-

“Ladybird! So, what do you think about-”

“Hold on Carapace.” Ladybird cut off, Carapace now wondering what was going on. “Not all of us are here.”

“All of us? But I thought-”

“Sorry for coming late!” A voice said, causing Carapace to jump.

Soon, something on the ground began to grow, the pink glow becoming bigger by the second. Emerging from the glow was a girl that seemed to resemble a mouse themed hero.

“Carapace, I’d like you to meet the other vigilante who helped us today.” Carapace remained silent as the mouse themed vigilante shyly waved at them, tucking a loose orange auburn hair strand behind her ear.

“Hi, my name is Gris. It was a great honor to work with you, Carapace. Ladybird.”

Pulling their luggage behind them, Adrien and Chloé scanned the welcoming area. Their flight lasted longer than what they thought it would be and they were ecstatic when they landed a few hours ago.

Their eyes landed on a gentleman with a poster board with their names on it.

When they approached the older man, they couldn’t help but notice the faintest smile on him.

“I presume you’re Mr.Pennyworth?” Adrien spoke up, Alfred nodding in response.

“I am Master Adrien. It's also a pleasure to meet you too, Miss Chloé. Welcome to Gotham.”

You shouldn't assume

Alya didn't understand. "But the miraculous cure brought her back" Alya explainedas she looked at her hero.

Ladybug's face was red and her hair had been chopped off honestly looked like a two year old did it. "Alya she was wearing a miraculous. It doesn't affect us the same as civilians. Alya I feel the pain of people's death when I bring them back. Did you know that? Did you realize if you are wearing a miraculous when I cast the cure that the pain of all the healed is split between us?"

It was clear to ladybug, Alya just wasn't getting it. "Turn yourself in. It will be better on everyone" she said as she turned around.

Earlier that day...

Alya had everything figured out. She would show that Chloe was a lier and a bad influence on Marinette then show her best friend how wonderful Lila.

She had easy access to the hotel because of her mother and on the off chance she was wrong there was an akuma so everything would be fixed when the cure was cast. But she knew she wasn't wrong Chloe couldn't be vegan with how often she saw her eating burgers. All she had to do was drop the hidden camera when she dropped off the ridiculous amount of food Chloe ordered.

Of course Alya was so caught up in her plan she didn't realize that the akuma was one that induced hunger or that Queen Bee was part of the battle or that all three of the active heros were presently missing from battle because they had got hit and their kwami needed to recharge.

Alya didn't notice the two figures hiding both from her and Chloe. Alya didn't pay any mind to how quickly Chloe pushed her out of the room. Alya did think it weird how Chloe seemed to be talking to someone as she closed the door but she didn't care her plan was going perfectly....

Until it wasn't.

Alya made her way out of the hotel just in time to see Queen Bee projectile vomiting on the Akuma and Ladybug holding her mouth as Chat and A NEW FOX HERO fought the Akuma and Carapace protected ladybug from the Akuma attack.

Alya made her way home just in time to see her mother watching the news. The news crew panicking Queen Bee had died from what is believed to be an allergic reaction that caused her to vomit. Alya roled her eyes. She would be fine the cure would bring her back.

Alya needed to know why she wasn't given the fox miraculous. Maybe ladybug couldn't find her... Yes that had to be it

Meanwhile Nino was panicking. Queen Bee was down. It didn't look like she was breathing. Ladybug was barely able to stand. His transformation had worn off and he was hiding. Wayzz looked panicked. "This isn't your fault"

Nino looked at the little dude."she's my girlfriend I should have known something was up. She can be impulsive and I should-" Wayzz moved to his shoulder "would she have listened to you? She's changed. She planned this without realizing the repercussions. This is not your fault."

When chat had showed up mid fight hastily explaining what had happened, he didn't have time to prosses what had happened too focused on getting to the battle on saving his friends. Now he undstood and he was horrified.

The akuma was defeated just before ladybug passed out. When the cure was caused Queen Bee started breathing again Chat instructed him to accompany her too the hospital in the ambulance while he took ladybug too the Guardian before her transformation was over.

When he was forced out by the hospital staff Chloe's parents thanked him insisted he one of their employees take him home. It had all kind blurred together until he found himself facing Chat for the second time that day "Ladybug was hospitalized too. But it's time sensitive that you, me, her, the fox hero and the Guardian see Chloe in private if she has any chance of waking up we have to perform a healing ritual. Ladybug snuck out and is talking to Chloe's parents now. For the second time that day Nino transformed.

Ladybug was left with little hair after the ritual. Chloe needed something like creation magic present in the room too keep her stable. Ladybug didn't have much practice with magic so her hair was the easiest to recharge as needed. Once it was explained to her parents they put the hair in a box and said a body guard would be brought in when they had to leave the hospital.

There was no guarantee she would wake up but there was a guarantee she would get Justice. Ladybug had told him Alya would be getting a visit. She hoped Alya would turn herself in.

Alya didn't turn herself in. She believed that everything was fine and Chloe was worrying everyone on purpose. She payed no mind to her mother coming home early and her quietly talking to her sister and father in the kitchen. "Ugh grown up talk" she mumbled to herself. If she had bothered to listen she would have known there was an investigation and her mother was the prime suspect as she made 99% of the food for Chloe.

When she went to school the next day she found it odd that Marinette, Adrian, and Nino were absent but brushed it off and talked to Lila after sending them quick texts. Sabrina mention Marinette being in the hospital but Alya played no mind Mari was her clumsy best friend. When none of them answered by lunch she began to worry. Then Nino sent a text "why did you do it?"

Alya huffed. And replied "she's faking to worry everyone" then Nino sent another text "then I suppose you believe Marinette is too. I can't see you anymore goodbye" Alya didn't understand but again brushed it off she could talk to him later. Except she couldn't because next time she saw him it was at her trial.

After Alya was arrested her story hit the news. Her blog was torn apart and Lila's lies quickly unraveled. Her and Lila faced many lawsuits from celebrities. Alya faced one attempted murder (Ladybug) and one murder since Chloe had in fact died. Though was magically brought back, she was still considered brain dead at the moment.

Lila was facing trials for much more attempted murder and assisting Hawk Moth. When her lies got out she chased a butterfly that turned out to be an illusion created by the new fox hero. And her previous akumas were very very violent.

Hawk moth took notice of the young girl suffering the same type of sleep that his wife was. Gabriel didn't know how to help his son. His childhood friend was practically gone in the same way his wife was. And he did not handle losing his wife well at all.

When Chloe woke up, she had to go through some physical therapy but when Howkmoth appeared offering peace if they could try to help a Jane Dow. Well it was a shock when Adrien was suddenly hugged by his mom a year later. Emily had to use a wheelchair but she was back and that was all that mattered.

Miraculous Sweet-ember (Sept. 19th)

September 19th: Queen Bee Trilogy (Style Queen, Queen Wasp, Malediktator)

Style Queen introduces Chloe’s mother, Audrey Bourgeois providing us with information on why Chloe is the way she is. Audrey’s appearance causes such a big ruckus. She was a great pawn for Hawkmoth to manipulate due to her temperament. Gabriel made sure she received bad treatment at his fashion show in order to get her fired up. It was pretty easy for him to get her so angry that he can akumatized her, but he underestimated just how angry she would be towards the Agreste family. Since Gabriel was absence from his own fashion show she took her angry out on Adrien, turning him to gold statue; doomed to slowly wither away. This isn’t good because not only does this mean Adrien’s life in in danger but the fight against Style Queen will be taking place without the support of Chat Noir. Ladybug goes to Master Fu after attempting to stop Style Queen only to be greeted by Plagg. Of course Plagg needs to come up with an excuse to why he was not with his holder and why that said holder isn’t transformed as Chat Noir, fighting against Style Queen. It’s a pretty funny excuse that Chat Noir simply lost his miraculous but its not like he can just tell Ladybug that he was actually Adrien Agreste who is currently turning into gold dust.

So Ladybug must chose a different miraculous to help her with the battle picking the bee. We all knew Chloe was going to be the bee holder but it was unexpecting when Ladybug didn’t go to Chloe for help but instead chose to go to Alya, attempting to give her the miraculous before losing it. I took this as the universe interfering to get the miraculous to the right person and that only specific types of people belong with a specific miraculous. Still alone, Ladybug must try to defeat Style Queen but it is a difficult battle and without the aid of her partner. With him she cannot fully enact a plan. But then Plagg steps in. Without a holder to contain his power, Plagg is pulling a risky move but it was what was needed to be done to save Ladybug. Plagg let out a massive wave of destruction that Ladybug had to immediately purify. It is crucial for the cat miraculous to work with the ladybug one. We see why balance between the two miraculous is important with Plagg having more power than Ladybug and with Ladybug needing the power of destruction to help defeat Style Queen and restore Paris.

Queen Wasp is Chloe’s second akumatized form and her first time with a miraculous. After Tikki informs Marinette that her purification did not return the bee miraculous back to the miracle box, she was in a panic that she lost the miraculous for good. Before she can go out and retrieve it she is ushered back into the fashion show to watch it finish up. At the end of the show Audrey Bourgeois praises’ Marinette design for the Agreste brand an saids she wants to take her to New York with her as an apprentice. Chloe gets extremely hurt by this. Not only does she feel like she isn’t up to her mother’s standards, her own class nemesis was invited to go live in New York with her own Mother (and to add salt on the wound Audrey never took Chloe to New York before). Chloe then reveals the bee miraculous which she had found on the Eiffel Tower and transforms herself into Queen Bee right in front of everyone. Adrien and Marinette had to hold their tongues before rushing after Chloe in their supersuits.

Chloe, now presenting herself as Queen Bee is trying to prove to her mother that she is an exceptional person and her best solution was to ‘save’ people as a super hero. Since there was no danger, she chose to sabotage the subway train to create a situation for her to save. Chloe of course was reprimanded by Ladybug for using the miraculous for her own gain and told her she was not a hero. This causes Chloe to run off with miraculous leaving her alone with her emotions making her susceptible to get akumatized. Chloe went to great lengths just so she can feel seen by her mother. It was a side of Chloe that we’ve never seen before. After Queen Wasp gets defeated, it was then our heroes instead of humiliating Chloe offer kind words to her. Seeing Chat bend down to get to Chloe’s level, a troubled childhood friend of his, to comfort her and tell her he understands she was doing this to impress her mother was very sweet. I love what Ladybug saids to Chloe especially when you think about the fact that is Marinette saying those things. Letting Chloe know that everyone makes mistakes including heroes what matters is how you fix those mistakes. Ladybug encourages Chloe to act like a hero and fix her mistakes by returning the miraculous back to her. So Chloe showing the most maturity she has ever show handed back the miraculous.

Malediktator is the episode where Chloe is granted the bee miraculous by Ladybug. This is one of my favorite moments of the whole series. After being ridiculed by her class when she showed them her fake documentary about Queen Bee and Ladybug Chloe decides she wants to return to New York with her mother. Chloe’s father is pained by Chloe’s threat to leave Paris forever that he gets akumatized. He has to power to control authority over people and was targeting Chloe to force her to stay in Paris. Because of his ability (and Chat succumbing to his powers) Ladybug needed the assistance of the bee miraculous and this time she planned to give the miraculous to Chloe. Before receiving the miraculous, we get such a tender moment between Ladybug and Chloe where Chloe breaks down and reveals her own inner turmoils and emotions.

Chloe is a kid that is believed to have everything because of her father but her father cannot buy her a sincere relationship with her classmates. Although Chloe tried to deflect fault when Ladybug first asked Chloe why her father got akumatized she admits that even though she feels like her classmates (especially Marinette) are mean to her that she is to blame for all this. Admitting her mistakes is not one of Chloe’s strong suits but Ladybug was so kind and encouraging with Chloe that she felt comfortable being vulnerable around her. This is also a big moment for Marinette because she never had the opportunity to see Chloe open up about her feelings before. The fact that Marinette could put aside their bad blood and see Chloe as someone else other than the girl that has been causing her trouble for a long time was very mature. And Marinette was willing to help her just like she is with everybody. She never dismissed Chloe’s feelings and prioritized her own feelings over Chloes. And Chloe was willing to hear that she made a mistake and admit to that mistake to help her father. It was a very touching scene between Ladybug and Chloe and appreciate that the writers dedicated the time for this moment to happen.

Miraculous Lemonade (Song Fic)

I love the movie Lemonade Mouth and thought that the favoritism shown to the athletes over everyone else on the movie was similar to the favoritism shown to those with high-ranking parents in Miraculous Ladybug. So, an idea instantly formed in my mind. Includes my original characters Lyon and Vallia Garden.

Adrien sat in the park outside of the Dupain-Cheng Bakery, eating with is two friends from Greece, Lyon and Vallia Garden. The two were doing an exchange program that helped students from other countries experience other cultures. They spoke fluent French, so they came to Paris. Adrien met them years ago when his family went to a charity fashion show that was held at the animal and nature sanctuary that Lyon and Vallia’s family owned.

The three may be a “little” annoyed with what had just happened at school. Lila “Liar” Rossi had framed Marinette for cheating, assault, and theft. Adrien made, what he called, a “deal with the devil” to get Marinette back in school. But it seemed that after her first few days back, Marinette’s parents decided it was better for her to go to an arts school instead of Dupont.

What infuriated the trio the most was that the school made no effort to investigate any of Lila’s accusations. There was no checking the security footage, no dusting for fingerprints, not even any hearing of Marinette’s side of the story. They simply took Lila at her word and some easily framed evidence to expel the best student at Dupont. It made them all furious.

“You know the favoritism shown at your school is appalling, right,” Vallia raised an eyebrow as she looked at her friend.

Adrien sighed. “I know, I know. But what could I do about it? I’m the son of a fashion designer, not a politician like Chloe.”

“That brat’s a part of the problem, anyway,” Lyon scoffed. “The entire school was punished and she is the only one that gets out of it? I’ve seen less corrupt politicians in Gotham, and that says something.”

“I know people criticize me for being Chloe’s friend, but would you two give up a friend that you’ve had since you were a kid,” Adrien asked them.

“Honestly, no,” Vallia said. “We get how you feel, Adrien, but one day Chloe will do something unforgivable and you will have to choose between her and your other friends.”

“I think I chose a while ago but just didn’t want to admit it,” Adrien says. “Chloe had her chance to be a better person when she was Queen Bee. But even after getting to be a hero, she still got her father, Sabrina, and Aurore akumatized.”

“Is there anyone she hasn’t akumatized,” Lyon crossed his arms.

“Out of all our class, only Marinette and I have not been akumatized,” Adrien says. “And for everyone that has, only Max, Nino, and Lila were not akumatized by her.”

“Well, Lila being akumatized was probably her own fault anyway,” Lyon shrugged. “She lies with every breath she takes and one of them probably bit her in the butt at one time or another.”

“Oh, I didn’t tell you guys yet, have I,” Adrien thought he had told them already.

“Told us what,” Vallia asked.

“You two were not here when she had her real first day,” Adrien tells them. “Lila lied on Alya’s blog about being Ladybug’s best friend. She had met me after school and tried to lie about not only being the descendant of a hero but also being the holder of the fox miraculous.”

“Seriously,” Lyon raised an eyebrow. “She was actually that stupid? Why not just put up a giant light-up sign that says ‘Hawkmoth, come and attack me,’ with her address written in neon.”

“If she hasn’t been targeted, Hawkmoth probably knows that she’s a liar,” Vallia said.

Adrien nodded. “During our conversation, Ladybug herself showed up. She probably saw Lila’s interview because she immediately called Lila out for her lies. Ladybug obviously hates liars as much as Marinette. Lila ran away and the next thing I know, she is breaking into my house while akumatized as Volpina and once again claiming to be a hero.”

“So that’s how you know she’s a liar,” Vallia understood now. “But why didn’t you tell anyone?”

“Because at the time she was only lying to get attention and friends,” Adrien said. “Have you seen my class, we’re all special in a lot of ways. Alya runs the most popular blog in Paris. Nino gets a lot of attention as a DJ. Juleka, Rose, and Ivan are members of a band that has been getting a lot of attention lately. Rose is friends with Prince Ali. Chloe is the mayor’s daughter. I am a model and the face of my dad’s brand. Even Marinette knows Jagged Stone, Clara Nightingale, and has impressed my father and Chloe’s Style Queen of a mother with her designs. Compared to all of us, Lila’s lies are not that unbelievable.”

Vallia and Lyon actually see where he was coming from. Being surrounded by people her own age and yet they have accomplished so much, it made sense why Lila would want to lie about herself like that.

“But then she took things too far, right,” Lyon asked his friend.

Adrien nodded. “Once she came back from her, so called, trip to Achu, she started using her lies to manipulate the class, which you guys have seen. She lied about having tinnitus so she could sit next to me, lied about having a sprained wrist to get Kim to carry her lunch tray, she even lied about having an allergy to tomatoes to make Rose take them out of her salad for her.”

“Isn’t that why she was akumatized into Chameleon,” Vallia remembered Adrien telling them. “You told her to stop lying.”

“Yeah,” Adrien said. “When she suddenly left for her ‘trip,’ I saw no reason to humiliate her by telling people about Ladybug calling her out. Plus, it’s not like they had any reason to believe me since none of them ever believed Marinette when she told them that Lila is a liar.”

“And it does not help that no one in school ever tries to actually fact-check her stories,” Lyon rolled his eyes.

“It’s not like it’s hard, either,” Vallia agreed with her brother. “Jagged Stone published his autobiography three months ago. There is no mention of a cat, a plane crash, or anyone named Lila in the entire book. It even specifically says that he had Fang, his crocodile, since he was twenty. That is fifteen years that he has had him.”

“I know, I know, my school is full of the most gullible people in Paris,” Adrien sighed. “And now that Marinette is gone, it seems like Chloe and Lila have teamed up and are ruling the school with iron fists. I can barely get a minute without one of them hanging off my arm.”

“And it’s not like any of the teachers or Damocles are doing anything,” Lyon says. “I’ve seen you, ask, request, and even demand for them to let go of you and they never do. You’ve even done it in front if some teachers and none of them ever did anything.”

“It’s the daughter of the mayor and the daughter of a diplomat,” Vallia sighed. “They will, most likely, never do anything. Even if it involves the son of a rich fashion designer.”

“It’s not like we can do anything about it,” Adrien sounded defeated. “Damocles is too afraid of losing money from the mayor and it’s not like Chloe and Lila are ever going to change.”

He was rubbing his very sore and bruised upper right arm, which Lila had been holding onto very tightly for most of the school day. And he knew that he would also probably have to deal with more of her harassment at the next photoshoot that he has with her.

“But... can even Damocles deny change when the entire school is rallied against him and those like him,�� Lyon smirked.

“Oh, I know what you’re thinking, Lyon, and I am in total agreement,” Vallia brightly smiled.

“Uh... mind cluing me in, guys,” Adrien was completely lost.

“Well, you know that Lyon and I are friends with Clara Nightingale,” Vallia started.

Adrien nodded. When the pop star had come to Paris to shoot her “Miraculous” music video, she had basically tackled the twins when she saw them. Apparently, she had met them years ago when she did a charity concert at their family sanctuary and even now treated the two like they were younger siblings to her.

“Clara had told us the reason why she started performing in the first place,” Lyon continued for his sister. “When she was our age, she attended a high school that focused entirely on athletics and nothing else. To the point where all other extracurriculars were pushed into the basement with no budget for any of them. So she used her music to spread the massage of what was happening. She wound up getting a sponsor for the music program that built an entire auditorium for her school even when the principal tried to deny it.”

“So, she basically started a music revolution,” Adrien summed up.

“Exactly,” Vallia says. “We can do the same here. Use music to show that not everyone tolerates the favoritism. It should prove more of a problem since all three of us are rich but also see it as a problem.”

“We should probably also add those that are not like us,” Adrien says. “Kitty Section could help, plus Luka and Juleka are not under Lila’s spell.”

“But Rose and Ivan are,” Lyon reminded. “Without them, we would not have a drummer or a singer. Vallia and I can sing, but neither of us play the drums. I’m classically trained on the violin and Vallia doesn’t play any instrument.”

“Kim plays the drums,” Vallia said. “And when Lila got Marinette expelled, he snapped out of her spell.”

“Guess we have our plan,” Adrien says.

“We’ll talk with Nathaniel and Marc,” Lyon said. “They can spread it to the rest of the school and we will soon have as much support as we will need before we perform and get the Board of Education involved.”

“But what about your father, Adrien,” Vallia was worried about her friend’s ‘stick-in-the-mud’ of a parent. “He would never agree with you being a part of any type of revolution.”

“Well, my father will just have to deal with it,” Adrien shrugged. “Plus, I can always spin it to make it look good for the brand when my fans see it as me trying to help those that are neglected because they are not rich.”

The twins smirked as they walked off to get their friends in on their plan.

Luka and Juleka were more than happy to use music to change Dupont for the better. Luka went to an arts school, but Juleka wanted a normal school and she was currently regretting her choice. Kim was also very glad to finally be able to show that he was more than just a jock and that he was about more than just dares and jokes. Seeing the bruises that Lila and Chloe had been leaving on Adrien’s arms just motivated them even more.

They decided to give their performance at a school dance that was coming soon. The entire school would be there. And when they talked to Marc, his class’s president Aurore contacted the Board of Education and they were going to send a few members to check out the problem.

“You guys ready,” Luka asked them as he picked up his guitar.

“Ready as we will ever be,” Juleka answers.

“I’m just glad to finally be able to stick it to the man,” Kim grins brightly.

“The song you guys chose is certainly a good one,” Adrien looks at Lyon and Vallia.

“What can we say, we love American Disney movies,” Vallia smirked. “Makes us glad that we’re fluent in english.”

The dance got dark, allowing them to get onto the stage that was set up for them. They had convinced Damocles to let them perform, saying they had an important message to give out with their music. Since three of the performers were rich, he let them. It did not go unnoticed how he had rejected Kitty Section when they had wanted to perform at the last dance even when they had told him the same thing.

Adrien stood behind the keyboard as Kim sat at the drums while Juleka picked up her bass and Luka stood with his guitar. Lyon was taking the lead singing position while Vallia was back-up vocals and running their “special” effects. They all had their own mics for them they took turns singing their verses. They were going to get their message out whether people at Dupont wanted it to or not.

Adrien was just glad he managed to avoid both Lila and Chloe since there was no way either of them would have let go of him and let him perform. But after this, he hoped to never have to deal with either of them ever again.

The music started, the spotlights shining down on them. Lyon took the lead and began.

Lyon- “Hear it getting louder, a call for revolution Yeah, we came for what was ours, it's time for restitution We'll protect our own, take back the stone No, human nature cannot hold us down.” Luka- “Stranded at the bottom, but we're more than a whisper No, we'll never be forgotten, our blood's thicker than silver, yeah When worlds collide, it's do or die So tell me, is it wrong to stand your ground?” Lyon+ Luka- “Hear us howl, all or nothing Fangs are out, we ain't running Hear us howl, it's all or nothing.” All six- “Oh oh oh oh This is a declaration Oh oh oh oh Of a new generation It's now or never, we're in this together We'll fight through the highs and the lows No, we won't break, we're more than flesh and bone.”

Lyon gave a wink to his sister and she started the real part of the show. With members of the board in the audience, this was going to force some changes to be made.

She pressed a button, images and videos started showing on the giant screen behind them. If they could see the board members, they would have seen some very furious faces.

All of the images were of destroyed property, bruises or scratches on people, and even of old things like the destroyed make-up bag that Chloe took a marker to. Then was the clear message when pictures of Lila and Chloe were shown with GUILTY under their pictures then with pictures of the school staff with DOES NOTHING under them.

Lila, Chloe, and Damocles were all white as ghosts.

Vallia- “The world has gone crazy and no one seems to listen Gotta step in, no more maybes, and stop the demolition Is it hope or fear? Look in the mirror Everything we built is coming down.” Juleka- “No more hesitation, it's time we start to realize With all this separation, silence is still taking sides So use your voice, make a choice And tell me, are you standing with the crowd?” All six- “Oh oh oh oh This is a declaration Oh oh oh oh Of a new generation It's now or never, we're in this together We'll fight through the highs and the lows No, we won't break, we're more than flesh and bone.” Then videos were played on the screen. The first were from the day that Marinette was expelled. It was footage from the school security cameras that they got when Markov, the ever helpful AI, hacked into them when the group asked for his help. He was more than happy to help slap some sense into Max.

It clearly showed Lila taking the test answers and putting them in Marinette’s bag. It also showed her fake falling down the stairs and placing her necklace into Marinette’s locker. The video moved on to showing all the times that her or Chloe would grab onto Adrien and would never let go no matter how many times he told them to. The video also showed it happening in front of teachers and they never did anything.

More videos showed Chloe bullying, destroying other art projects that were not her own, and even all the things she did that got most of the class akumatized when it happened on school grounds. They also got videos from Jagged Stone, Clara Nightingale, and every other celebrity that Lila lied about. All of them saying they had never met Lila in their lives. All six- “Ayy, ayy, ayy ayy We say no more bad blood, no more bad blood Ayy, ayy, ayy ayy No way, they can't stop us, no, they can't stop us Ayy, ayy, ayy ayy We say no more bad blood, no more bad blood Ayy, ayy, ayy ayy No way, they can't stop us, no, they can't stop us.”

More videos and photos identified every bully in the school. Each and every single one of them being rich, or have influential parents that Damocles was afraid of, or both. The other students all gathered near the stage, showing their support to the band and hardly anyone supporting the staff or the bullies. Alya was still speechless over Lila’s lies being revealed and what she had said to Marinette in “defense” of Lila. Sabrina was also pale as she remembered everything that Chloe ever made her do, like stealing Marinette’s diary and locking Juleka in the bathroom. Adrien- “History changes, but we lost the pages we wrote When you lose direction, can't see the reflection you know We came from the bottom then became the problem Now everything's out of control So hey, are you with me? Let's go!”

The students cheered and danced as the band all sang. They all knew that they were now going to finally be free of the bullies and liars that have been plaguing their lives for years. All six- “Oh oh oh oh This is a declaration Oh oh oh oh Of a new generation It's now or never, we're in this together We'll fight through the highs and the lows No, we won't break, we're more than flesh and bone.”

The band finished with a bang, staring down the staff with cold eyes that said that they regretted nothing. Everyone they stared as were about as pale as a person could be.

After the dance, the Board of Education members brought everything that they had learned and seen to the rest of the board. Actions were immediately taken over the weekend. There was an intense investigation into the school and every member of the staff. Not that surprising, but Mendeleiev was the only staff member that never did anything wrong but was constantly blocked from doing anything by the other staff members.

Damocles was revealed to have been using money granted to the school for things like locker upgrades and new textbooks for his Owl gear instead. Plus he was also found out to be taking many bribes from parents of the bullies to not only keep them from being punished but to also increase their grades if they were low. He was fired immediately.

Bustier also faces a lot of consequences. When the investigation was made known, dozens of her old students came forward. It was revealed that her methods have caused all of them pain. She had spent years coddling the bullies and punishing the victims. Many ended up in therapy while the bullies usually ended up in jail for mostly violent crimes. She had her teaching license revoked and was blacklisted from ever teaching again.

The rest of the staff were all suspended until they finished courses about how to deal with bullies, how to properly run a classroom, as well as all of them having to pay finds.

All of the bullies were either expelled or suspended, depending on how horrible they were. A lot of them were having to repeat the grade because of how much their parents had spent to keep their grades up while they did hardly any work.

Alya, while being sued for the lies she posted on her blog, did not do anything else beyond cyber bullying of Marinette. But that did get her another lawsuit from her former best friend’s parents as well as being suspended from school for a week. Her parents forced her to delete the Ladyblog.

Chloe and Lila were, of course, the worst of them all.

Chloe ended up expelled and it was found out that she was also banded from every private school in the city because of how well her bullying habits were known. Her father was also facing multiple accusations of abuse of power because of how he handled problems that his daughter caused. Chloe could also hardly ever leave the hotel without being sneered or yelled at by literally everyone in Paris.

Lila was not only expelled, but also had giant finds placed on her after she was arrested for her months of truancy. Every celebrity she had ever lied about was also suing her for slander, defamation, and libel. It was also revealed that her mother had taken away her diplomatic immunity once she had learned about all the lies that her daughter told her and everyone around her. Her reputation as a liar has spread all throughout France and she will never be able to use her schemes ever again. Her mother makes sure to inform all her future teachers and principals about her lying and bullying habits.

All while this is happening, the new band clinks their glasses together as they cheers for a job well done. And if Adrien also happens to be kissed by a certain Greek lead singer, that is just a bonus for him.

The Protector’s Plan

Masterlist

"Aaaah! Someone help me!" Lila screeched, piercing the eardrums of anyone in the vicinity. "I'm being held hostage!"

"Will you shut up?" Chat Noir hissed, whilst holding out his baton to block an oncoming attack. The knife aimed at him was pushed to the side, and he took it for his advantage.

Adrien kicked a leg out, forcing Protector to fly back into a beam. The Eiffel Tower shook on its very legs.

Turning back to the screaming girl behind, he decided, "We need to get you out of here."

Before she could argue, he grabbed her in a flash - not bothering if she was uncomfortable - and sprinted away. However, their escape was thwarted when a beam of purple shot the ground in front of them. An explosion from that very spot caused debris to fly everywhere.

Lila yelped loudly in surprise, prompting Chat to hiss as a reflex as his false ears flapped down. His emerald eyes were easily able to gaze through the settling dust, allowing him to see the figure stalking in their direction with a gun pointed.

Just as the liar began to vocalise her fear, a faint sound was heard from off to the side. The sound of a ping.

Three heads swivelled towards the sight of a spotted woman and blond boy, who were both situated in an elevator. Ladybug was spinning her yo-yo with a determined expression, yet it soon melted away when she took in the scene before her.

"Angel!" Protector broke the silence with. "You're here - I guess that means that I'll get on with the spectacle I promised now instead."

Marinette's eyes widened, but she didn't have time to question his knowledge of her identity.

Protector aimed his firearm upwards, pulling the trigger. A line of light zipped straight to Lila, and she held her arms up in a defensive stance. Though it did nothing.

Orange covered her form, until all that was left was a small orb on the floor, that glowed eerily in the quiet. Damian sauntered calmly towards it.

Seeing this, Ladybug sprinted forward, before leaping in the air to land beside Chat Noir. They both spun their weapons in front of Lila's soul.

"Damian, stop this!" she yelled. "I'm sure we can deal with this another way."

Protector let out a dry chuckle. "I'm afraid you don't see what I want, Angel," he replied, walking closer. "What I want is for you and my Moon to be safe."

His violet eyes flickered to Felix at the side.

"And to do that, I need to rid of that snake."

In a flash, the akuma pulled out an assortment of blades from his utility belt, and proceeded to throw them straight at the duo. They dodged in accordance - ducking and weaving between the knives - whilst keeping Damian in their vision.

However, the male wasn't focused on the heroes anymore. He was focused on the blond standing metres nearby.

He paused in his assault, and instead launched a circular device at Felix.

"No!"

All of a sudden, Ladybug was the one it landed on, and she glanced down in horror. The gadget beeped red, followed by it exploding into a bundle of rope that ended up wrapped around her body tightly.

Marinette attempted to get free, but the action was useless. She caught sight of Chat Noir in the corner of her eye, with his staff turning in his claws as a shield.

"There is no point in fighting, Angel," Protector spoke, as he slipped a katana blade back into the side of his utility belt. "You're just delaying the inevitable. I always get the job done."

Adrien extended his baton, forcing the villain to be sent in another direction. He ran to Ladybug, and held a hand up.

"Cataclysm!"

The ropes constricting her movement turned a rusty black, before disintegrating into a dust that blew away in the faint breeze.

Marinette flexed her muscles, and took out the yo-yo at her hip. She advised, "We'll need your Cataclysm to defeat him, trust me on this Kitty. It's best that we recharge and come back later."

The heroine faced Felix. The two gave each other nods, before she picked him up in a safe hold. They swung away from the Eiffel Tower together, Chat Noir in tow.

None noticed Protector following them with his gaze, nor the grin that stretched across his features.

He glanced down at the gun in his grip, and watched the two souls within pulsate. One a bright orange, and the other a muted version of the same colour.

"Felix. Here is the miraculous of the Fox, which grants the power of illusion, and you will use it for the greater good. Once the job is done, you will return the miraculous to me. Can I trust you?"

Taking the hexagonal box without hesitance, he responded, "Yes."

A flash appeared as he opened it, followed by a kwami fizzling into existence. They looked about, before they took in Felix in front of them.

"Hey Kit," Trixx greeted with a chuckle. "Nice to see you again!"

"You too," Felix agreed, with his lips twitching upward.

Marinette watched the boy put on the fox tail necklace with ease, and turn to her and Adrien. She said, "Alright. Now that we're all charged, I think we're ready to save our Star."

"Oh, by the way..." her partner commented. "'Star' is the akuma, right?"

Ladybug blushed. "U-Ummm, yes. He, he, uhhh...comes to the bakery quite a lot. Damian's a regular."

"I'm just wondering where he learned to fight like that," Adrien revealed, finger tapping at his chin. "Or where his suit comes in. I think I've seen something like it before."

"Didn't he say he was from Gotham? And that there were vigilantes there?" Marinette asked Felix.

"Yes, he did. His costume is most likely based off of theirs."

"No wonder he looks so depressing."

"Anyway..." Ladybug broke in with. "I think that we should-"

A voice from the TV nearby interrupted her. Nadja Chamack was heard to say, "Don't be bemused, it's just the news! I'm here with footage live from the Eiffel Tower of another akuma!"

The screen changed to a recording taken from a helicopter, that showed the familar figure of the Protector on top of Paris's most famous monument. He was at the balcony near the tip, along with two others.

They were backed up to the rails, and facing Damian with scared expressions.

"What? How did he get Alya too?"

"Oh, about that," Adrien answered for Marinette. "He came to get her and Lila at school and made a whole mess there."

"We better save them - who knows what he could do."

"Awww, can't we let him deal with them?"

"What? Adrien, of course we cannot!"

"For once I agree with your friend."

"Ugh, not you too, Felix!" Ladybug groaned. "Just transform, guys. We don't have much time."

"If you say so..." Adrien finally agreed with a pout. "Plagg, Claws Out!"

"Trixx, Let's Pounce."

"What the heck?"

"What is it?"

"You said that Damian went to Paris to take down some villian right?" Tim quizzed.

"Well, he did, but told me that he had some other business to take care of there too," Jason responded. "Explains why he's been gone for longer than usual."

Tim gestured with his head for Red Hood to come to the Bat Computer, and he did so.

When faced with the video on the screen, his eyes widened beneath his helmet.

"Demon Spawn?! What the hell is he doing threatening some teenagers up there?"

Sorry for not posting in a while. Something happened last week on Sunday and...long story short I’m not allowed on my phone at all nor the computer. I don’t know when or if my dad will let me back on them but until then, updates might come out later.

Also, I find it really distracting to type out stories on keyboard, and not on phone, which is why they may seem a bit different.

Sorry (Not Sorry) Queen Mari AU Continuation

Okay, here’s the Latest in the Queen of Mean AU. I received an ask for Sorry Not Sorry by Demi Lovato. And I just thought the song worked really well with my overall theme. However i’m severely running out of ideas for this so decide to try my hand at asks for drabbles. I put in three superhero quotes in this fic. Send me ask with the answers to what hero or supervillian said the quote and i’ll do my utter best to get the drabble out at soon as possible. Also in this fic, i’m assuming Marc wasn’t in the same class.

When the new team Miraculous showed up to confront the Akuma, the entirety of Paris stopped. This was not the standard tag-team duo of Ladybug and Chat Noir. It wasn’t even the fearless five that Ladybug, Chat Noir, Queen Bee, Rena Rouge and Carapace that showed up when the world really needed them.

No this was something else entirely.

Chat Noir never saw it coming. Or rather, the old Chat Noir never saw coming.

Marinette smirked at she dodged an attack. The feeling of relief and the utter excitement shot through her like lightning. Adrien looking up from the crowd, looking utterly lost and heartbroken was…

Honestly, the fact Marinette hadn’t suddenly broken out in song like life had suddenly turned to a freaking Disney movie was ridiculous. Utterly Ridiculous, as Chloe would say.

That look meant he had arrived. That look meant all of Adrien’s dreams of a second chance and talking “sense” into Ladybug had just shattered.

Yes, Marinette thought, this was what revenge looked like.

Marinette stood in a heavily armored costume. She had arrived to scene first. Her outfit was mostly black and not skin tight. The ladybug red with dots had been limited to body armor and gear. She wings now; see-through, shimmery, red ones. Her only issue one the antennas on her head. (When Marinette finally got Tikki to confess that an outfit change was possible, the little god insisted on getting some say in it.) Her hair was up in bun.

A loud roar was heard through the carnival, signaling that the next hero had arrived. Brightroar landed with a menacing growl. His black hair slicked framed a pair of golden eyes. His suit was a mix of gold and black.

Viperion (Luka) and Ryuko (Kagami) quickly joined in next to them. Queen Bee fluttered onto the scene and landed gracefully beside Marinette.

The icing on the cake was when Blanche Renarde arrived. Her icy blond hair swinging in two pig tales. Gone was the orange and white that the old fox Rena Rouge had sported. Instead, the white fox looked like she walked right out of the Arctic in an all-white suit that turned every head.

“On your left,” Chat Noir shouted as he entered the fight. Or rather the new Chat Noir shouted. He landed gracefully next to her and attacked the Cotton Candy Akuma. (Some poor little girl had dropped her cotton candy and Hawkmoth had taken advantage of her dismay; the sicko) Felix was doing a remarkable job replacing the old, rabid Chat. The crowd gasped and awed. nd Marinette could hear Alya scream about a replacement.

The New Chat Noir wore a more heavily armored suit that was less of a skin-tight leather monstrosity and more like something someone could actually wear into combat. (Apparently, it was possible to redesign the suit… And boy was Marinette going to have words with Tikki.) His hair was long and shot out a lion’s mane.

If the Ice fox was the icing on the cake. Chat Noir was the crown jewel.

This was the new team Miraculous. This was 10 out of 10. This was the best they’d ever been.

Payback was a bitch,

And Ladybug had just proven herself to be the baddest.

The clear hurt and confusion on Alya’s face as she looked upon her replacement was sweet. Because FINALLY knew what it was like. What the shock of being backstabbed and replaced felt like. It had hurt like for Marinette to be so easily replaced by Lila by her so-called best friend.

And Marinette knew it must have killed Alya to be replaced by her icon, her hero, her muse.

But it would only get worse.

As the fight commenced, every now and then she would catch Alya and Adrien looking miserable and ready to demand answers. And, In Adrien’s case, beg for his miraculous back. But there were no second chances

Everything had happened a little less than a week ago.

And it had been savage.

Adrien’s Chat Noir had once again arrived late to the fight. (Which made no sense as the Akuma has once again appeared in school, during lunchtime.) He jumped down with a quick, “Sorry for the tardiness, my lady.”

Then he had pouted when he saw Viperion and Queen Bee there to assist; glaring at the snake and proclaiming that they were necessary.

To which queen bee had snapped, “More necessary then some mangy Alley Chat.”

Chat Noir had then looked to Ladybug to defend him and when all he got was a blank stare, he threw a tantrum. When that got to the response. Chat finally hissed, “Then if I’m not needed, then maybe I’ll just leave.”

It wasn’t surprising, now that Marinette knew just who was behind that mask of his. Sweet, Childish, naive, foolish, gutless Adrien Agreste. Marinette could have forgiven Chat for his actions done when wasn’t suited up if he had proved himself. If Chat Noir had been reliable, dedicated, hardworking. Or even remotely serious about being a hero of Paris, then

Marinette could’ve looked the other way. She wasn’t the type of person to take personal feelings into work.

Business and real-life was separate.

Somehow, even with Gabriel as a father, Adrien never learned that lesson. Never learned to put aside personal feelings and grudges to get the job done. To be professional.

Instead, Chat Noir was immature. He rushed into battle, sometimes getting himself killed. He was always late. Sometimes never showing at all. He flirted incessantly and wouldn’t take no for an answer.

No, Ladybug wasn’t interested.

No, Ladybug didn’t want to date you.

No hard feelings, but seriously no means no.

And when Ladybug finally had enough and called him out, being as forceful as she could, that once again Ladybug would never date Chat Noir. Chat would throw a tantrum, refuse to help her fight whatever Akuma they were up against; risking lives and Ladybug’s own safety.

The first few times it happened Ladybug had given in and apologized first; all but beg Chat Noir to come back. Then Chat would go back to flirting and proclaiming them soulmates.

After the first few times… well, Marinette had enough. She never went to go get him. Either she would bring Queen Bee or Viperion to help her. Or she would defeat the Akuma herself.

Chat proclaimed them partners but never understood what that meant.

The fight had been long and deadly to the point where all three heroes were convinced Hawkmoth was actively trying to kill them now. Each had to disappear to recharge and come back multiple times. It had spread throughout Paris and back to the school again. But no matter how hurt it was clear they were, no matter how much trouble they were in, Chat Noir never came back.

He left them all without a second thought.

When the fight was over, and the new heroes helped Ladybug prove once again why Chat Noir wasn’t needed, Marinette finally decided enough was enough. Maybe she should’ve taken it easy on him. He had been her partner, albeit a sorry excuse one.

But Nah.

Because at that point Ladybug was bleeding and bruised everywhere. She had watched Queen Bee fall from the sky like Iron Man fell from that wormhole when New York had been attacked. And both Viperion and Ladybug raced to the falling hero with everything they had. If Ladybug had been a second too late to catch her, Queen Bee would’ve died. She’d have smashed into concrete and it would’ve been the end of Chloe.

That was something Marinette could never forgive.

Enough was enough. Chat Noir was a bad hero. And Ladybug could admit that. She knew it. She couldn’t just pretend like she used to.

This was real

And knowing it’s real means you gotta make a decision.

One, keep denying it.

Or two… do something about it.

Her fists clenched as she surveyed the wreckage that Paris from atop the school. Hawkmoth had to be stopped. He had gone too far, she thought with a shake of her head. And with a quick shout of “Miraculous Ladybug!” Everything had been reversed. Like nothing had happened.

“My lady,” Chat chimed as he landed in front of her.

Speaking of assholes who’d gone too far, “Chat Noir.” Ladybug said blankly. For once it wasn’t anger that coursed through her veins. It was something worse, something darker. And Marinette wondered if this was what pure hate felt like.

“Quite the fight,” Chat said as he bounced from one foot to another.

The only thing that any of three heroes from taking was their Kwamis whispering in their ears. Plus Viperion was holding up, and holding back a snarling Queen Bee,

“Take the ring,” Tikki hissed in her ear.

Marinette nodded. “A regular old deathmatch.” She had an idea, a plan.

A smug look appeared on Chat Noir’s face, “Bet you wish I was there.” Then that stupid smirk appeared on his face and Marinette nearly lost it. “I think an apology is in order, my lady.” Chat gave her an expectant look that made Marinette glad that she could breathe fire because the alley chat would be toast.

Instead, Ladybug smiled softly, “You’re right.” She said to the shock of the two standing behind her and the pleased surprise of the one in front of her. “An apology is needed.”

She walked slowly to Chat Noir, swinging her hips a bit more than usual. When she got to him, Ladybug wrapped her arms around Chat Noir’s shoulders and hugged him. She hugged for their time together. She hugged to for the man she thought he could be.

Ladybug hugged Chat Noir for the hero she had hoped he would become. And hugged him even harder for that same hero she now realized he never would become. Because that the little boy hiding behind the mask didn’t have in him to become the hero Paris needed, the world needed.

She pulled back slowly out of the hug and let her hands drift from his should to his own and held them tightly. “Chat Noir, I’m sorry.” And with a flash, Ladybug yanked the ring off his finger. “That I’m not sorry.”

There was a shout a green light erupted around Chat, and when it was gone Adrien Agreste stood in his place; to the horror-filled gasps of Queen Bee and Viperion.

Adrien stood in utter shock. His mind trying to catch up to what had just taken place.

“You’re not worthy to wear this ring,” Ladybug stated. “You are not worthy to Chat Noir, to be a hero. You are reckless, immature, and unprofessional. I would rather face ten thousand akumas alone than work with you again. You’re weak and I’ve outgrown you.”

With that, the three heroes walked away, leaving the blond on the roof of the school.

“Goodbye, Adrien,” Ladybug said as they disappeared.

“I don’t need this!!!” Adrien had shouted after them angrily, finally snapping out of his shock. “I don’t need you. I have bigger things to do. Better things. Watch. I’ll be the best hero ever!”

Ladybug hadn’t wasted time getting new partners; getting her team ready. And it turned out there were actual tests that could be performed to show who was worthy of a miraculous. Not just who saved the right old man.

Through the tests, Felix had become Chat Noir. Marc had taken the lion Kwami Sharptooth and become Brightroar. And Aurore had become Blanche Renarde. The last two, Marinette had been training for months before deciding they had been ready for their first appearance.

Felix had taken a few days to train but had been a natural. Like he’d been born to be Chat Noir but somehow the universe had screwed up and made it Adrien.

Ladybug decides to call them to face an easier Akuma; such as the cotton candy monster wreaking havoc on the carnival.

Becoming better than they ever wore before was the finest way to kill. The team defeating the Akuma like it was nothing had to have been a bitter pill for Hawkmoth, Adrien, and Alya to swallow.

Ladybug bet it stung. To, in fact, see that the grass had only gotten greener on Ladybug’s side of things now that the old Chat Noir had retired.

It was a new day. The entire world was better than it had been; everything was sunshine and technicolor… for Marinette and everyone on her side. But for everyone else, it would only get worse.

Marinette let the de-akumatised butterfly go as she fluttered easily onto the ground; right in front of the crowd; Alya and Adrien eyes on her.

Chat Noir leaped over. “That was a job well done.”

“You’re not Chat Noir!” Alya suddenly shouted, her phone in her hand clearing recording. The other reporters in the audience raised their mics higher. “Who are you?”

“It’s not who I am underneath,” Chat Noir stated. “But what I do that defines me.”

“But What happened to the old Chat?” Alya continued with anger clear on her face. “Is he coming back? Is Rena Rouge coming back.”

“He was deemed unfit for the position,” Chat answered. “I have taken over permanently. Any other heroes replaced were replaced for the same reasons.” With that, he turned his attention back to Ladybug. “Shall I escort you home, Ladybug?”

“You know where she lives?!” Adrien asked with a strangled voice.

Felix smirked at the boy he had replaced. “Of course. Why wouldn’t I?” He gave a careless shrug. “We’re dating after all.”

The two heroes turned and walked away. Ladybug cast a smirk over her shoulder at the former heroes Chat Noir and Rena Rouge.
