What kinda of nicknames do you think the bayverse turtles would use for their s/o? Do you lean more towards the cute talk or a form of their s/o’s name? Do you think the turtles would use these nicknames anytime, or just in private one on one moments? 🤔 also, do you think they’d get flustered if their s/o gave them a nickname? (Alright. Sorry that last one was fishing. I know they would get flustered 🤣, but I also wanted to see what type of nicknames for them you like)

yorshie my dear i love it when you come into my askbox and spoil me 🥰 nicknames are one of my favorite topics, and so are the bayverse boys! Let’s discuss.
Leonardo: Leo goes for more whimsical nicknames. He doesn’t have a lot of that in his life, whimsy and sweetness, so he gets it where he can. Blossom is one I used recently. My heart. Honeybee. Pretty bird. Princess if you’re lucky. If he’s in a teasing mood he’ll call you something sticky sweet like honeybunch or cinnamon bun. All of this is in private though, Leo is a deeply private turtle and not a fan of PDA. If you’re with his family and friends he’ll stick to a form of your name or just honey if you’ve done something to make him especially soft.
In bed, now. In bed. Pretty girl. Sweetheart. Mine.
As for nicknames for him, he’ll melt into a pile of goo if you call him sweetheart as you kiss him on the cheek. Call him ‘my hero’ when he gets something down from a high shelf for you and he’ll give you that bashful smile. But really, he likes it best when you just call him Leo. Especially when you whine it into your pillow as he- [is shot]
Raphael: Princess. Shorty. Sweetheart. They start out as teasing or even condescending nicknames, and slowly morph into genuine terms of endearment as he falls in love. He doesn’t care who hears him call you these names either. You’re his, and he wants everyone to know it. Raph is the kind of person who prefers a few well-used terms over variety, so he doesn’t really add any terms of endearment when you get together. However, if you catch him just right he’ll call you ‘my love’ in private.
In bed, it’s sweetheart, babygirl, or baby.
He loves being big and strong, so he loves it when you make him feel big and strong. Big Red. Hunk. If you call him something silly like ‘Mr. Muscles’ he’ll scoff but hide a pleased smile. You’re allowed to call him something like Raphie or Raph-a-doodle, but only in private. Call him handsome, though, and it’s a one-way ticket to Meltsville, population Raph.
Donatello: I know it’s very popular in the fandom for him to use dove. It’s cute, I don’t mind it, but personally I don’t see him using that. Donnie is the kind of turtle to use the more traditional nicknames most often. Dear. Darling. Hon. Sweetie. If he’s feeling especially fond he’ll use ones with a more whimsical and celestial bent. Starlight. Moonbeam. Sunshine. Like Raph, he’ll use these terms at any time. However, he also likes using your name, in full. There’s nothing else that encapsulates you quite as well as your name.
In bed, he still sticks with the traditional. Baby. Darling. Love. Good girl.
Like Leo, Donnie likes it when you call him by his name. Donnie or Donatello works just fine for him. He is very fond of his name. But secretly, he loves it when you unconsciously parrot whatever nickname he just used back at you. i.e. “How was your day dear?” “Better now that I’m with you dear.”
Michelangelo: I’ve spoken a bit about my mans before, here. He’s a big fan of nicknames, and will use a variety. He loves coming up with new, silly nicknames. Angelcakes, of course. Banana muffin. Cupcake. My personal favorite, Starburst. He’ll also use any he hears his brothers using or hears on TV. Mikey’s always looking for inspiration for new names to call you. If he can find one related to your interests, like songbird if you love to sing, he’ll use that one frequently. He uses them all the time, anywhere, even when referring to you when you’re not there. Sometimes you wonder if he actually knows your name. (He does. He just wants to make sure he has your attention.)
In bed, he likes to use babe and baby a lot. Gorgeous. Babygirl. My love if he’s feeling sappy.
Mikey doesn’t really care what you call him, but he loves it when you match his energy. Get in a cute little contest where you try to outdo each other with the most ridiculous nickname, and he’ll have the time of his life. He does like variations on his name. Mikey, Mike, Mikes, Mikester, any variation will get him to grin at you.

As a male with voice-acting inspirations, please can we get more Domino/Adam and any other definitely male characters because I wanna do a comic dub and they don't get much spotlight.
That also leads into my next question of "how does gender affirming care work in hell/heaven?" Like I'll see that a succubus has a curved tail and think "male" but also see that they have a pronounced chest and not know if they're just a trans girl (in which case that top surgery did WONDERS) or if I'm missing something or if I'm just wrong.
I prefer not fulfilling requests to portray certain groups because I still enjoying treating the series as my own personal thing (hence lots of women and lesbos) but be assured, I got a good amount of male characters + domino/adam shenanigans to introduce.
Heaven doesn't really have gender affirming care because its actually incredibly rare for an angel to experience any sort of body dysphoria. the mentality of "god created this body and its mine alone" is pretty prevalent.
Hell's gender affirming care depends. the main source of surgery is either spells which can lead to incredibly dangerous side affects the stronger they are (permanent spells are a lot more risky), or, they can receive surgery through modified angelic weapons. For a lot of demons, they don't mind leaving little fragments of themselves behind, hence why its common for succubi to have their tails unmodified and why Junior doesn't doesn't shave her horns. there are exceptions to this, like Adam, who has his tail modified because he doesnt want to be associated with his past identity at all.

The Umbrella Academy ideas that are stuck in my head (part 2): Training
A fanfic idea where Klaus was involved in his siblings trainings cause Reginald saw he wasn't making enough progress in is own and "You must contribute somehow Number Four". But no one knew what each others individual training involved cause they hated taking about it. But one day after the not-apocalypse or whatever the conversation gets brought up and one of them mentions that Klaus was involved in the their trainings and they all are like....wait he was in mine too. And Klaus is like "yeah, I always preferred your trainings over mine" Then they ask Klaus what his training was and if anyone else was involved but he doesn't want to tell them about the mausoleum or how he later found out that Reginald used to kill him/let him die and time how long it took him to come back.
Luther (I'm not really sure how to include Klaus in training for him yet)
Diego's training included having him throw knives and things at various targets until his hands ached. Then Reginald wanting him to practice curving the projectiles so he made Klaus stand in front of a target (cause he knew Diego had a "weakness" for Klaus and also that Klaus couldn't die, not that he told anyone that) and made Diego throw knives at him. Later upgraded to Reginald throwing the knives and making Diego try to stop or repeal them. And he messed up sometimes and got so upset at hurting Klaus but Klaus is just like "Don't worry Di I trust you not to hurt me on purpose" and "It's okay Di, it's just a scratch". And Klaus just got used to the pain and build up a high pain tolerance.
Allison's training included rumoring over and over until her throat hurt. But she needed to rumor someone for Reginald to see the effects and how different wording and even languages changed the results. So Klaus got picked cause he was the best at/knew the most languages so he could understand (maybe because of the ghosts). And Allison kinda hated doing it to him but was afraid of Reginald and wanted to prove herself so she just made Klaus do a bunch of things. And Klaus got used to the idea and feeling of his body and mind not really being his own and kinda just dissociated after a while.
Five's training included practicing jumping until he felt like passing out. Then one day Reginald wanted him to practice with another person and chose Klaus. And Klaus got so dizzy and sick the first time he threw up so Reginald forbade him from eating on Five's training days cause "I will not stand you making a mess Number Four". Klaus didn't tell anyone and when asked why he doesn't eat sometimes he just said he wasn't hungry. Later Klaus thinks back on this when he is living on the streets and is already familiar with the feeling of hunger.
Ben's training didn't involve Klaus because it was too dangerous even for Reginald. But Klaus was always there when Ben was finished. And he would drag him to the bathroom and clean him up and then they would cuddle under blankets together in Ben's bed and Klaus would talk about anything and everything just to distract Ben from thinking too much about the Horror. And sometimes Ben hated when his stomach was touched cause it hurt or he was afraid that the Horror would just react without his control but other times when they would cuddle, Klaus would lay his hand or even his head again Ben's stomach and for a moment Ben knew how much Klaus trusted him and how much faith he had in him and in that moment it made Ben feel safe and in control.
Viktor obviously didn't have training like the others but he remembers when he would learn a new song and finally be able to play it through without messing up and wanting to show Reginald or his siblings but was afraid they wouldn't care. But Klaus would come into his room sometimes and listen to him play and he would sit on his bed and fall asleep. Viktor admits that at the time he thought Klaus was just bored and it hurt that he never listened to the whole song. But present Klaus says that he wasn't bored but that Viktor's room never had any ghost (unlike his other siblings who became murderers/haunted way to young) and his music was so beautiful and peaceful. That Viktor's room was safe, that Viktor was safe. And feeling safe was something Klaus rarely felt as a kid but in those moments with Viktor he was able to relax and actually sleep.
Anyway I just want a hurt/comfort fic with Klaus and his siblings.

I think maybe everyone should cool it with the “weird cult” comments regarding the covert, honestly. It wasn’t that funny to begin with but now that it’s the popular describer it’s starting to become a little uncomfy. No one is forced to join, no one is forced to stay. There’s a ton of parallels between them and real world cultures and religions and I just think MAYBE we need to be a little more aware of what message we’re sending when we say “haha that group of people who are in hiding because their lives were/are at stake and who practice anonymity to survive and follow certain rules that I don’t personally understand or like are a weird cult”.
#maybe we should lay off that word#I’m not the first person to say this obviously but now it’s starting to make me a little 😬#really wish this season had done what it should have and explored Din’s relationship with his faith#then maybe we’d learn more about the covert and Mandalorian culture and people wouldn’t feel the need to use this kind of language#they’re not a cult they’re just a group of people trying to survive in a universe that would prefer they did not#and that hits home for a lot of real people watching#anyway there’s that#the mandalorian#everyone a Din stan til we talk about how his faith is still a huge part of his character and his life#although the show really really needs to address how all of the events so far have changed his mindset#personally I don’t think he wants to leave his creed behind#but I think he would benefit from reevaluating what it means to him Now as opposed to when he took it as a child#the fact of the matter is: the covert and the creed are Important to Din on a fundamental level#would he enjoy you running around calling his family a cult? probs not#mine

conditioning dyes? what kinds of dyes are those? 🤨
Like stuff that only deposits color onto the hair, as opposed to penetrating the strand / lifting the pigment from the natural hair!
so, stuff like manic panic or oVertone and stuff like that- they only deposit color, they don't strip it. those are conditioning dyes, they're basically just ultra ultra pigmented conditioner, which your hair does absorb, but they don't PENETRATE. the benefit there is that you aren't damaging the hair every time you re-dye it.
hair DYE, like box dyes and stuff like that, usually contain some sort of developer (or ask you to use your own developer), which opens up the cuticle of your hair and like... dissolves some of the melanin inside? which lightens the hair, and deposits the color in a more permanent way, but is damaging to the hair.
#there are more brands than overtone and manic panic BUT those just happen to be the ones I've used!#coloring conditioners are great bc you can get color payoff while keeping your hair as healthy as possible#bc application is just like a deep conditioning#and hair dyes are great because they can lift color from your strands to give you a brighter more permanent color#but they damage the strands in the process#it's sort of all about personal preference and also what color hair you have#mine is either a dark blonde or a light brown depending on who you ask#so it's REALLY easy to put red coloring conditioner on that and get a really intense dark cherry red#but if I put like. blue. on there. it may get swampy fast#if you have naturally light hair then there is no reason to not use coloring conditioners#and if your hair is super dark it would be hard to SEE the color unless you lightened your hair first#etc etc etc#that's more info than you asked for lol but I have opinions abt these things#sergle.txt#I only started dyeing my hair in the first place bc someone did me a HUGE SOLID and sent me some overtone. FOR FREE#so coloring conditioner was my first experience with dyeing. and probably my friendliest experience

#my kids <3#was debating giving mephisto those thigh-high stiletto boots but they didn't really work for the look#also if you can't tell he's a raccoon#his jacket is like gauze so it's translucent#jtta ik#jtta mephisto#art#obey me#giving mephisto an outfit is always safe bc even if i suck at fashion he also has questionable taste in outfits#so even if he looks dumb as hell he's still rocking it because that's just how he is#anyway this is just something cute to help y'all digest chapter 32 better#or to make up for it#since i think we're all anticipating the big emotional character beats more but this chapter was a lot of plot#as in like moving the arc along#but the stuff in this chapter needed to happen to set up those big emotional character beats in the next few chapters#anyway i sincerely hope they don't ever introduce a canon demon king because i personally think mine is cool#also in relation to that i'm very glad i'm getting to unveil more mephisto in this arc because he is My Precious Boy#sorry to anyone who doesn't like him/would prefer focusing on the canon cast!! but. my son#i'd like to think i've done a decent job of properly grounding him and the rest of the newspaper club within the om universe#so hopefully their involvement doesn't feel out of place#wizlecto's might but there's a reason they're there#both in-universe and also for story purposes#since in the coming arc i reckon we need characters to provide insight from a complete outsider's perspective#which mephisto can't do bc backstory and also he's very actively involved already#and astaroth can't bc of his friendship with belphie and also because he doesn't get directly involved in the same bit that wizlecto will#sorry i'm rambling here#i quite like what i did for the shading and stuff here because it looks nice while also not taking too long#been doing this in the evenings to wind down for bed (since writing usually keeps me awake moreso than drawing) and it's been very relaxing

funny thing happened when i was subbing fourth grade technology today. a boy raised his hand when i introduced myself as miss (last name) and said "there used to be someone who looked JUST like you who worked at after care a few years ago."

and he was like... honestly *____*-facing
#idk how to describe the emotions of the *____* (an underrated fav of mine) thats why art is so much more eloquent than words#tales from diana#some kids realize it's me and im the same person#oh when i was working for the after school program i went by miss diana. important detail#we all did first names except for my coworker who was a para at the school during the day she still went by her last name. naturally#bc that's what all the kids knew her as already#but yeah like my boss was mr. bruce for instance#i had a boy in one second grade class seemingly FORGET me? he was a kindergartener#i had just walked into the room a minute ago and i said '(his name) stop that' and he was like 'how do you know my name?'#uhm. because we've played stratego together.#another girl in his grade (now a second grader) who used to really love me and always seems happy to see me subbing#she asked me one time 'why did you change your name?' 'i didnt!' and she was like: :0000#me explaining to my friends that i have a first AND last name#also in that fourth grade class was my first grader i used to tutor when school was still remote!#he's so big now jesus fuckin christ#he asked me if i. like. PREFER to be called miss (last name) bc w him i just went by diana#and i was like 'well. you know my name and thats ok but just call me what all the other kids are supposed to call me' lol#if you run into me at the grocery store you can say hi diana. at school it's miss b#he's funny he always doesn't like to seem too attached or affectionate (he was like that when he was young too) but i can tell#he's always happy to see me around :)

Hi today. Things happened. Good lord (positive)
#basically my cousin's cute friend did show up#and. well.#we were left alone for a while bc cousin and her bf went to a night store for more alcohol#and we had a respectful chat about basically. thinking the other is hot. he straight up said hes into me. respectfully#and later when cousin and her bf came back she asked what did she miss and the cute friend was like 'oh just rizzing your cousin' kdbdndnxn#and from that point we spent most of the time cuddling#like proper cuddling like. first i was just leaning on him and he hugged my waist#but it gradually went to#hes sitting behind me and im half laying down between his legs on his torso and hes holding my waist and putting his head on mine#so like. yeah#yeah im normal about everything#he even tried to kiss me at one point but im not a kissing person#he was very respectful about that tho. after he did smooch me next to my lips.#like he apologized immediately and didnt try again but we still cuddled#and later later we like swapped and he was laying on me#like girl. hot damn#tho i do very much prefer being the hugged person lmao it was still cool as fuck#and like hes tall. so tall. i love tall people. felt really comfy and safe in his arms. good lord#im didnt get drunk today but i did get a lil silly after drinking. mostly just sleepy and more open to touch#im not tipsy anymore but honestly i feel drunk on just the feeling of being desired by someone and touch and all that shit#like im ace in a way so cuddling real close and kisses not on my mouth is i think the most im okay with#and i do like that physical attention but i dont really get any ever#its a really good feeling to know that someone finds me attractive. and to just cuddle about that#praying he wont see this lmaoo#theres no reason he would but i do still remember how my friend i had a genuine crush on found and read my posts about her lmao#but yeah i don think i ever shared my tumblr w him. good#anyway it was a great evening and my brain is still short circuiting#bee buzz

#i had many many positive thoughts today besides it being as bleak of a day as any . maybe because i called my mother:)#i liked today's lecture too#but yeah yeahw i have hopes for the future etc but i'm also slowly rotting away because i have nobody to hug me . . . lolllll#i haven't cried this *year* at all so that's a 11 day streak and i don't. exactly feel like it but i feel like#if i don't cry often enough all this rot is going to accumulate in me#i'm not sure it's something everyone experiences#it doesn't exactly feel like it when i look around because people usually have something of a stable identity they introduce themselves#with#yet i feel like mine either fell apart or never existed#and it's hard to operate in this world as a non-person who barely speaks. because i don't know what i'm supposed to say#no curiosity no nothing just a void in my head most times#and i assume that radio silence and a couple of automated responses isn't really enough for people to talk to me#and there comes the social death#i'm just rotting internally in general and hoping something new can still grow on it#sooner than later preferably..

I'm kind of ashamed to say it but I haven't studied JP in...a month -w-Anyways, I'm getting back into it slowly but surely.
I had 75 WaniKani reviews piled up wghwghg. anyways, my stats are as follows
24/26 radicals
18/18 kanji
20/31 vocabulary
62/75 answered correct in total
83% answered correct
Considering I haven't done this in months, that's pretty good. I'd definitely like to get my vocab score up because 20/31 is NOT the best statistic to have (゜д゜). I also did a new lesson because I have 50 of them piled up and it's been bothering me for a while ehe.
Okay, next up is Genki! Normally at this point I'd do renshuu but to be perfectly honest I don't want to review hiragana and katakana for the 1098098th time soooo. I'm skipping it.
I don't have a physical copy of the book which is quite unfortunate, but!!! I do have a PDF of it! So yayyy! but it took so long to load. its not even funny at this point.
anyways, i got another lesson of it down! currently on lesson 4 (after studying) for reference.
and uhm. yeah!! pretty much it!! 30 minute long session. itll probably be like this for a while ehe.

thank you guys for the help i know nobody’s awake anymore but i’m awake now again and the email is officially sent
#i’m nervous cause i’m not seeing philosophy club anywhere#and yes i am capable of learning and growing as a person and doing other stuff with my life#(when i told my dad yesterday that i was nervous he said i should see this as an opportunity…)#but i would rather prefer to be in my regular thing every thursday… also i kind of need this teacher#i’m trying to not skip class as much anymore (i kind of did a lot of that last trimester) so it’s not like i’ll just be always over there#but my mom gets home tomorrow and it’s making me nervous. things were getting pretty bad between my parents#and y’all understand there’s only one adult in the entire world who understands what it’s like at home? it was cool knowing him#anyway the real point of philosophy club is learning philosophy and seeing friends. and that’s why i want to do it and was excited for it#but the reason that i’m nervous about it not happening is because what if i just never have a place like that again#but!! the email is sent!! and if there’s no philosophy club there really isn’t anything i can do#i’ll just have to join newspaper and start going to silent reading and all of those things i could do#also getting help from teachers. that’s a big one. that’s what raider time is actually for. and i could use it#but on the other hand that half hour of every day is like. my only piece of free time cause i’m away from parents and not in class#so i tend to want to use it for self care and fun times. plus last year that meant i could stay after school to get help from teachers#thereby maximizing my away time even more!!!! which was pretty great and a good situation#so anyway idk but the point is i sent the email and it’s the morning now and i’m gonna plug in my phone#and a friend of mine is driving me today so idk when she is getting there#because yesterday it was a different friend but not today and i don’t remember this friends driving schedule#but anyway yeah. and yesterday was a bad first day but maybe today will be good#me. my post. mine.#delete later
