Touch starved pilots of your choice cuddling their s/o headcanons
characters written: pete 'maverick' mitchell, nick 'goose' bradshaw, tom 'iceman' kazansky, ron 'slider' kerner, leonard 'wolfman' wolfe, rick 'hollywood' neven, beau 'cyclone' simpson, bradley 'rooster' bradshaw, jake 'hangman' seresin, natasha 'phoenix' trace, robert 'bob' floyd, javy 'coyote' machado, mickey 'fanboy' garcia, reuben 'payback' fitch
sfw, but cut for length. enjoy!
Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell:
depends on what age you're thinking!
if it's young!mav, he's probably just a liiiitle reluctant to let himself relax sometimes
he's sort of got his tough guy persona, and he's not used to dropping it, so when you get him alone he tries messing around at first
whether that's a few too many kisses, or a pinch to your side, he guards himself a bit before letting himself go
but when he does, oh, he's like a little kitten !
he lets you run your hands through his gelled hair (gross)
and it gets all misshapen and spiky
he probably just melts when you pet his hair like that, and he'll be snoozing on your chest in no time
now older!mav is definitely less of a tough nut to crack
he probably initiates the cuddling in the first place, he nudges you over to the bed and lays himself on top of you to crush you
you can push at his chest and splutter all you want, but he's made his choice on where he's going to lay, and it's on you
he likes holding you, but he wants to be face-to-face, so you can brush noses and bump foreheads
he probably tries sooo hard to stay awake so that he can soak in the time you're spending together but peepaw definitely crashes like 10 minutes in
Nick 'Goose' Bradshaw:
he also likes to be face to face!
buuut not for the same sweet reason as mav
he just wants to itch you with his mustache
he likes nipping at you too, he bites your nose to make you laugh
you won't be getting any sleep when you cuddle with goose, he just wants to talk and laugh and hold you the entire time
it's not a period of time to wind down, it's a big laugh-fest
and god FORBID you try to get up to pee
“Nick, I have to go.” / “Sorry, honey. I can’t let go. I think my hand’s stuck.” / “NICK!!”
Tom ‘Iceman’ Kazansky
he’s another one who probably has just a bit of trouble letting his guard down
he’ll cuddle with you no doubt, but he’ll probably always keep you in his lap or have some sort of upper hand in the embrace
it takes a while before he’s ready to be held himself
when he does finally give in it's so soft and sweet :')
he's had a really hard day and he comes home with his eyes drooping
you've planned a movie night but he doesn't even look like he could sit through an episode of a tv show
so you lead him to bed instead, and tell him you're sleepy, cause he won't 'ruin' the night by admitting that he is
you ask to play with his hair and he lets you, but he's not sure why 'cause you just said you were tired??
you basically have to trick him into being held but once his head is on your chest and your hands are in his hair he's gone.
he ends up mumbling something all sleepy and groggy like 'mm, that's nice' and his eyes are half shut and he's so endearingly tired :')
he wants you to do it all the time now, I'd say it's about 50/50 whether you fall asleep holding him or he falls asleep holding you
Ron 'Slider' Kerner:
slider's a big boy!!!!!!!
he's big and tall and muscly, the perfect cuddle buddy
he's probably more inclined to hold than be held
but he likes it when you face him so you can wrap your arms around his back :')
he probably likes it when he's able to bury his face in your neck/shoulder/against the top of your head
like he always wants his face snuggled in somewhere warm and nice smelling
and it just so happens his chest is an excellent place to get lost yourself
so you most of the time just nuzzle right into each other and get to snoozin'
i think he'd talk real soft, too, he'd murmur against your ear while you're drifting off, probably boring you to sleep with technical details of his flights but just before you crash for the night he slips in a little 'i love you, honey' and <33333
Leonard 'Wolfman' Wolfe:
he's a loser for his partner it has to be said
almost as teasing as nick is but not quite
he'll let you fall asleep he just wants to talk to you AllTheTime because he LovesYouSoMuch
he's a chatterbox and you'll be lucky if you get to sleep at a decent hour
he really likes it when you lay your head on his chest
'cause he likes playing with your hair and your face :]
sometimes he'll just use you as a little stress toy and squeeze your cheeks and pinch your nose and poke at your forehead
always making silly little jokes and telling you all about his day
down to, like, every comment one of his friends made...
'and then slider said he was gonna kill him but hollywood ran, so then they were just chasing each other around and iceman said-' / 'babe.. can we sleep? please?' / 'oh! right, sorry baby.'
Rick 'Hollywood' Neven
listen there's a reason he and wolfman get along so well
they're BOTH teases!!!
cuddling with hollywood is not really relaxing, because he's always pinching your sides or putting his nasty cold feet all over you, or pretending to knock you out by fake-punching you a bunch
you're just laying there and he's 'punching' your stomach, making fake punch sounds with his mouth, and if you push him away he'll pretend you've absolutely knocked him out, tumbling down onto the mattress with this dramatic thump and closing his eyes and sticking his tongue out of his mouth like he's a dead cartoon character 😭
he's like a dog you have to get his energy out before trying to rest with him or he just Won't Rest
when you DO get him sleepy, though, he's kinda incoherent when he's tired, so you'll be cuddled up together, maybe you're scratching his back, maybe he's playing with your hair, and he's just sort of mumbling nonsense until he finally drifts off to sleep
Beau 'Cyclone' Simpson:
will not be held
sorry! not happening
he's just so big and beefy and authoritative that he doesn't much enjoy being coddled
he loves cuddling with you though, he gets very relaxed just laying with you
he's a casual toucher, i think, so you can rest your head on his shoulder at the airport, you can hold his hand at restaurants, whether that be over or under the table, he lets you hang all over him however you want
he's not super into in-your-face PDA, though, so you'll have to be polite and considerate about it
actually in bed though, under the blankets at night?
he's so much more cuddly than you'd expect
he wraps his big strong arms around you and tugs you close and lets you melt all over him <33
your favorite place to lay your head is probably his chest 'cause it's so broad and firm and nice <3
he's a good back rubber so cuddles are always soft and cozy and sleepy
Bradley 'Rooster' Bradshaw:
lord he's a cuddler
he's just a touchy guy, because he's probably gone without it for a significant amount of time so now that he's got you he's gonna enjoy it
big big big on pda, doesn't really care who sees
so that means cuddling in public, too
perfectly content to sit by the beach with you in his lap all cuddled back into his chest he doesn't care if anyone teases him
but back in bed he's a sucker for head scratches
if you have long-ish nails, enough to scratch at his scalp, he'll literally melt over you like an ice cream cone
his limbs go all gooey and he flops his head down on your chest, groaning and grunting while you scratch through his hair
he really enjoys sleeping on top of you, whether that be fully chest-to-chest 'you're suffocating me' cuddling or just an arm thrown over your stomach while he lays on his own
he likes being held, too, but probably prefers to hold unless he's having a hard day
Jake 'Hangman' Seresin:
big boy!! surprisingly fond of being held for everything we know about him
that cocky demeanor does not last under the sheets
he adores holding you, of course, he'll wrap his big arms around you and cradle your head to his chest
he probably plays with your hair, looooves it when you tangle your legs up with his own
he prefers if you talk to him rather than him talk to you if you're cuddling
cause he likes the sound of your voice and he loves hearing about your day
he tries to listen so attentively to what you're saying, but if you're taking a little too long telling him about that batty old customer that had visited the shop you work at today, his eyes are going to slowly start to droop and he's gonna let out a big ol yawn that means it's time for him to close his eyes
you always cut yourself off like 'sorry, jake. g'head, go to sleep'
and he insists you continue like 'nooo darlin' i wanna hear! keep going :]' except within two minutes he's dozing against the pillow while you talk about the old lady again
he's a simple man just talk soft and slow to him while snuggled up in his arms and he's gonna sleep no matter what you're telling him
Natasha 'Phoenix' Trace:
she really likes laying face-to-face with you!!
she's a fan of spooning, of course, she likes either burying her face in your back or letting you snuggle into hers
but she loves the intimacy that comes from being pretty much nose-to-nose with you
the type to lay there and chat with you mere inches away so that you're leaning in to kiss her all giggly and bashful every four seconds
she uses your cuddle time to tell you all about her teammates, what stupid shit jake said today, how bob almost tripped down the stairs, that fanboy's got a new girlfriend who wants to meet you, etc etc etc
but that means when you see them next you know all of the hot gossip about everyone and you giggle every time jake says something dumb and he's like WHAT.. WHAT IS IT.. WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH ME.. and you give nat this little ;) 'cause you'll definitely be talking shit about him later
she does this thing where she cradles the back of your head in her hand if you're face to face and she throws her leg over your waist and it gives you such intense butterflies that you need to close your eyes sometimes <3333
Robert 'Bob' Floyd:
cuddlebug <3
he loooves cuddling but if you do it face-to-face he's gonna need to be super close to you because he can't see without his glasses 😭
i'm taking like nose-to-nose so close that you have to cross your eyes to see him
otherwise he's pretty chill in what positions he likes
you love it when he reads to you
i think he might not be the most confident reader out loud but he does it anyways 'cause it puts you to sleep
he gets really sleepy really easily so sometimes it's best to refrain from cuddling in public
like you're out on the beach by a firepit and you're all snuggled up together but oops he can't enjoy his smores because he's sleeping on your shoulder
he loves it when you lay your head on his shoulder sm :'))
he wraps his arm around you and tugs you closer <3
Javy 'Coyote' Machado:
prefers holding to being held
probably a little less talkative than the rest, but that doesn't mean you never chat
he just has this insane ability to fall asleep anywhere, i'm talking slumped against the bus window, leaning against the wall, sitting on the ground, piloting his aircraft sorry
he likes staring at you, though, while he falls asleep :')
if you're talking to him he'll listen and nod and hum along and agree when he should, he's a very good listener
but slowly he'll start to fade a bit, and he'll sling his hand over your waist, smush his face into the pillow, and keep listening for as long as he can
slooooowly you start getting less responses from him, he's not reacting as much, but his eyes are always locked onto your face and he's got this lazy little smile on his face while he drifts off to sleep 'cause he gets to look at you the whole time :')
loverboy!!
Mickey 'Fanboy' Garcia:
the most talkative in the whole wide world
cuddling with him is barely even cuddling, it's watching him act out his entire day
'and then payback went like this and- BAM! shot it down.'
and he's up on his knees in the middle of the bed with his arms out demonstrating exactly how they'd worked through their training exercises that day
and he is loud and energetic and you're half-asleep like 'that sounds awesome, babe.'
he isn't one to stay in one place really, he likes tossing and turning a bit before he falls asleep which means that you are also going to be tossed and turned
he's a really shifty sleeper too so you'll wake up with your face in his armpit
if you're really sleepy though, he'll settle down, he'll pull you into his chest and let you fall asleep there
but he'll probably be on his phone for a bit, he strikes me as a crazy night owl
Reuben 'Payback' Fitch:
out in two seconds
there is no conscious cuddling with him
why?
because the second his head hits the pillow he's snoring
you can cuddle up to him but if he's cuddling up to you he's doing it in his sleep
you're actually so jealous of him bc you lay down for the night and he tucks his chin over your head or he snuggles his face into your neck and that's it.
he's out.
he's a clingy sleeper, though, so if you wanna read for a bit or use your phone it might be kind of hard
honestly it really helps your sleep schedule to sleep with him 'cause sometimes he's entirely wrapped around you and you can't move
so there's nothing to do but sleep yourself
he's like a living furnace i KNOW that man runs hot
you probably wake up sweating a bunch if you're all snuggly with him
blanket stealer. he somehow manages to tear them off of the end of the bed where they're tucked in and cocoon himself
and then you wake up freezing cold
when i said he snores i mean it he snores loud
it's sort of comforting eventually? like at first it drives u insane
but over time you come to rely on it as white noise and you can't sleep unless he's all over you snoring right in your ear and drooling on your shoulder

spirk fics i've read in the last two-ish months and loved
I will have you (if you let me) by ros3bud009 @roseymoseyberry (TOS) - starting out this list with a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ fic. i loved everything about this fic - the premise (k&s know they're t'hy'la from the second they meet), the yearning, the journey, the love. i could live in this fic
Spock 🖖 by vaksur, WerewolvesAreReal (TOS) - need a laugh? this one is it. spock decides to use emojis in his comms. shenanigans ensue
A Friend Like You by kierawrites (TAS, yes you read that right an animated series fic!) - pre-slash, a glimpse into their lives after the episode "mudd's passion." this one is short and yet is packed with *them*
A Different Perspective by Maeko (AOS, SNW) - transporter malfunction fic, and this time it brings AOS Spirk to SNW verse. loved this one for the AOS Spirk dynamics, but mostly the SNW Spock and AOS Spock interactions and Maeko's perspective of Vulcan telepathy. it's a fascinating character study!
in the dying of the light by scar_a_mouche (zanni_scaramouche) @zanniscaramouche (AOS) - i'm not sure how to categorize this one, other than to say that i had this *ache* in my chest through every sentence and it just felt so AOS Spirk that i wanted to drown in it. one of my faves over the last few months
Personal Personnel Protocol by dothedeux (TOS) - another comedy entry for the list. this time it's not just the bridge crew that knows what's up, it's the computer. such a fun read and so sweet too
Professor Kirk by TonightNoPoetryWillServe (AOS) - cadet spock, professor kirk, and all kinds of fluff with only a touch of angst. perfect bedtime reading
Let Forever Be by gunstreet @gunstreet (TOS) - listen. i need everyone to drop what they're doing and read this fic. it's a city on the edge of forever fic that is mostly a jim character study but pulls in queer history. it breathes compassion and humanity, and is stocked with OCs you'll fall in love with. another ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read
Shall We? by Jenna Hilary Sinclair (JennaHilary) (TOS) - yet another comedy entry? what has the world come to? i love my angst just as much as the next spirk truther, but when comedic spirk is done right it hits perfectly and this one is definitely done right
And When the Bond Breaks by LadyRa (TOS) - finishing this spirk list with a final ⭐️⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️ read. this became easily one of my favorite TOS fics of all time. it's from 2003 and deserves WAY MORE hits, kudos, and comments than it has!
for the non-spirk entries this time around:
StarDate.org by Exxact (TOS/AOS fusion) - christine/t'pring and online dating. fluff and friendship. perfect
The Time of Neither by gunstreet (SNW) - spoimler nation rise! your definitive fic has arrived!
My World Is No Longer Hollow by existentialcrisistime @existentialcrisistime (TOS) - a mcspirk fic about finding where you belong. so beautiful

It's been ages since I posted a snippet from my K/S novel, so I'm back with one from Chapter 15!

“Well, I haven’t even asked you anything yet, Doctor.” He snorts. “And for your sake, you probably shouldn’t.” They make a small expression of sympathy that he’s getting far too used to seeing and they walk in silence for a few moments. “I understand you’re going through a lot right now, but I have a responsibility to at least try and ask you questions, Doctor.” “And why’s that?” “Because this story deserves to be reported fairly and accurately, and your perspective on the matter is missing. I think you might have some valuable insight and I just want to understand. To shed light on the matter.” “And what exactly needs my input?” “Doctor McCoy,” they ask, “were Commander Spock and Captain Kirk merely colleagues and friends? Or was there something more?” McCoy stops in his tracks without turning to face them, nearly tripping on the gravel lining the path. “What?”
If you are curious, my fic "I Shall Do Neither" is here at AO3.

When T’Pau tells Spock to live long and prosper, he knows he shall do neither. This is a story about men who love each other, and the lengths they will go to for one another. - Foolish, he thinks. I have been a fool. How he had wanted so desperately to prove his Vulcan side. How all his life it had felt like a performance, and yet, to be finally subject to the most Vulcan thing of all destroyed him. The stripping of logic. All sense torn from him. His carefully constructed barriers had collapsed like a flimsy house of cards. To be granted his wish this way was a type of mockery. How he had wanted to be fully Vulcan. To prove that the blood which runs through his veins was not so human. How wanting had been better than having. - This story is told in two parts across 25 chapters, and will be updated on Sundays.

•TV show: "Criminal minds".
•Content warnings: A book about a 40-year-old murder case being published and presented in a theater, an elderly woman being severely ill and dying after she found out who murdered her daughter and joining her late daughter and husband in Heaven (her daughter even coming to get her to take her to Heaven) and the man who made the investigation about the girl's case possible having passed away before he could see the book about it be published.
•What happens in this chapter is inspired by "Boy crazy"'s ending, which is one of my favourite parts of the episode. Here's the link to it: https://youtu.be/7h55JaUYuqc?si=eo4SkPLkSkOig50G .
•I don't really know what a book's presentation is like, so I kind of took inspiration from the last chapter of the fanfiction "Little talks" on fanfiction.net, and also made some things up.
•JJ is there because thanks to Emily's mother, she was pardoned and didn't go to jail for her crime. I couldn't mention it in the chapter.
•As you know, I'm a religious Catholic, and in this chapter I've basically described Heaven. If you don't believe it exists, that's fine, but don't make fun of it, please.
•Thank you very much to my friend @lex13cm for suggesting to me to use the story's title for David's book too. It was a very good idea.
•The story's final quote is from the movie "Sarah's key", just like the opening one. It is its closing quote.

The bridge to Heaven
Chapter 22: Finally at peace
On June 12, 2004, exactly one year after Matthew's phone call to David, which had made the writer's investigation about Emily's case begin, a very important event occurred at John W. Engeman Theater, in Long Island.
It was the presentation of the last book Dave would have published in his life.
It was entitled "The bridge to Heaven", and what it talked about were the last weeks of Emily's life as told by her mother, former boyfriend, friends and acquaintances.
But it also included David's investigation about her death, and was dedicated to Emily herself, but also to Matthew, who had died on December 9, 2003, before being able to see the book his extremely brave choice had allowed Dave to write be published.
Aaron, Derek, Elle, Jennifer, Penelope and Spencer, along with their families, were there, though, and of course Declan, his grandmother and his wife and daughter had come too.
And then, in addition the majority of David's relatives, Pauline Leonard was there as well.
The woman had remained unsure whether to go or not almost until last minute, but then she had chosen to do it not only for Emily, but also because in a way, she felt like she owed it to her sister Abigail.
"If at the beginning of last year, someone had told me that I would have soon discovered and brought to light a fourty-year-old secret, I almost certainly wouldn't have believed them" David began talking, starting the presentation, after getting on the stage and inviting Aaron, Derek, Elle, Spencer, Jennifer and Penelope to join him "It happened, though, and if we are gathered here tonight, it is also and above all thanks to the men and women who are now on stage behind me, as well as Emily's mother and former boyfriend, former nurse Pauline Leonard and Matthew Benton, who can't be here today, but whose decision allowed me to give Emily the justice she deserved. So, first of all, I have to thank them for what they were courageous enough to do".
At the end of his short speech, everyone in the room clapped, then, taking turns, first David, then each of Emily's former schoolmates told a little part of that story.
They didn't say much, so as not to spoil too much of the book, but listening to their speeches, Elizabeth was still deeply moved.
As Emily's former friends and acquaintances spoke, however, a strange thing happened to Emily's mother.
For a few seconds, as each of them gave a brief speech, she seemed to see the teenagers they were when Emily was part of their lives in them again.
It didn't last long and the woman was aware that it couldn't really have been happening, but at that moment, it still seemed so real to her.
What happened next, however, was even more emotional for Elizabeth.
Suddenly, while Jennifer, the last person to speak, was talking, she thought she saw her daughter on stage with David and her former schoolmates.
Emily was wearing a white shirt and pants of that same colour, but, most importantly, she was smiling, something she hadn't done often in the last few weeks of her life.
She seemed happier than she had been in at least the last three years of her life, and she almost immediately spotted her mother in the crowd and waved to her.
"My little girl" Elizabeth couldn't stop herself from whispering with tears in her eyes "You just couldn't not be here today, right, Emily?"
"I'm okay now, Mama" Emily told her a few seconds later, moving closer to her, then disappearing.
Elizabeth didn't know for sure if what she had just seen was real, she couldn't know that, but deep down, she felt like it was.
Wherever she was at the moment, her beloved daughter was now at peace, so she could be too.
She could finally stop suffering and holding on and just join her.
She had been ill for three years, her family knew it, and she felt like she couldn't take it anymore.
She didn't have much time left, she was aware of it, but she had always felt like she had one more thing to do before leaving this world.
That thing was finding out what had actually happened to Emily, she now knew it.
And now that she had found that out, she could be free too.
That night, shortly after 3 am, Elizabeth's heart stopped beating.
She was alone in her small apartment in the retirement home, but weirdly, she wasn't scared at all.
At her last breath, she saw a big white light, stronger than any other one she had ever seen, then Emily appeared before her.
Her daughter had come to get her, just what the woman had waited for for fourty-one years.
"Come on, Mama, let's go. Daddy is waiting for you" Emily told her, taking her hand and starting to walk with her into that light.
Elizabeth could reunite with her family, and the three of them would now be together forever, finally at peace.

Okay, alright, here’s my analysis of seasons 5 and 6 of Community, starting with Repilot (an episode that lives rent free in my mind!!!)
Repilot is the epitome of what I’m trying to say, it’s meta and dissecting the very essence of the show, since it’s a literal “do over” (Re-Pilot)
The ironic thing is that Jeff would have succeeded in his law practice if there wasn’t a season 5, but since we need him back at Greendale, Jeff fails.
Hard.
The episode is basically a huge mirror from the pilot episode.
The same character from season 1’s inciting incident, Allan, sends Jeff back to school. We see what Jeff would have become if he didn’t go to Greendale for four years, so we at least have this parallel to go on.
Our Jeff is not that defeated that he would go as low as Allan, right?
Right????
We already see Jeff’s delusion with the world, he’s back to his cynical self, drinking and wallowing. His red tie almost undone vs the red superhero suit in his commercial. It’s already darker but the narrative needs him in school, so it has to be a little extreme.
Then, Jeff goes back to Greendale. Immediately Leonard is there, blowing raspberries. Jeff sees his and Annie’s trophy. We’re having a much better time, even if it’s not for a long time.
Because Greendale has turned the camp and the chaos and the sheer stupidity to eleven. Because the narrative needs to remind us of how detached from reality the school is. Because it’s a TV show. There’s a class about ladders, for god’s sake.
It needs to be this wacky because the show has now shifted to: We’re gonna save Greendale. We’re gonna save the show, like it’s been saved on Yahoo.ca, whatever it takes.
When they get to the study room, the table has been buried - the show has been buried, too, but when everyone comes back (Abed: the Dean called me, I called everyone else) just like the pilot, they put life back into it.
Abed is still Jeff’s mirror here, and suggests that Jeff becomes a teacher at the school, because it would be the most TV-logical thing to do, especially since Jeff got his diploma in education hello!??
I LOVE how Jeff is like absolutely not. He’s still fighting the narrative, trying to make sense of his new role.
The Dean also has a very interesting speech about “Greendale is a good place for good people, that old spiel” basically having a cynical view of seasons 1-3 and making fun of the initial message of the show. We already know this, but Greendale has changed. Or maybe, Jeff has changed and is now starting to see the cracks.
Coming back to the study room, they immediately start to fall back into old patterns of bickering, because they all have something to hide and are too proud to admit they are miserable. Shirley brings them back to reality before they get too far. Once again, rooting us slowly into reality.
Jeff, for his part, forgot how good it felt to be bad. When he beats down Allan with his own tie… woof, that was rough. He takes the tie. Takes charge. Wants his own identity back, because it’s much easier to be bad than good. Much easier to pretend that he doesn’t care, than actually caring. Caring got him hurt.
Then Chang appears and makes fun of the absurdity of his character. It’s easy to see here, because when said out loud, Chang’s development is the most extreme. Like come on, amnesia? Get a grip, show!!!
Jeff then feels he has been robbed of his identity and starts to point out each character’s development:
Britta was an eclectic anarchist. She is now the airhead, which is heartbreaking and I don’t want to think about season 1 Britta too much or I go insane.
Shirley began the show by taking back her independence from her cheating husband and is now the one who cheated ???
Annie lost her go-getter attitude and settled for a job she hates.
Abed, multiple breakdowns. Like, at least one per season.
Troy’s Clive Owen Tumblr (what is his url u think) but no, seriously, always being with Abed and nothing else.
They did ended up like mixed up cartoons, and not only because of the “gas leak year”. They’ve become stereotypes, as sitcom characters often do. They’ve evolved, but perhaps not in the original direction intended, or not where we left then in season 3.
Now, it’s time for them to Get Something Back. Their narratives.
Annie says to Jeff: Greendale is in your hands. And it is. If Jeff talks long enough, he can make the people around him do things. It’s his power. Greendale’s fate is in his hands.
Then, Abed throws his words back at him: you make us see the right truth.
And that could be that Greendale is a place worth saving!!!! Jeff knows that, because, as usual, with one sentence, Abed has thrown off his resolve. Maybe Jeff needs to show them another thruth. But Jeff needs one last convincing first.
The Pierce hologram is my favorite. The fact that only Jeff could see it for some reason, echoes season 1 when Pierce was more of a grumpy grandpa that sometimes gave Jeff some nugget of wisdom and acted like a distorted father figure. Same here.
Jeff walks back in the school, screaming to the Dean about his power to destroy the place. But he won’t do it. He’s so desperate for something to matter once more and for that thing not to be dark and twisted.
And then. And Then. The Dean offers him a job.
Teacher.
The way Jeff looks up as he would be talking to god (non specific) when he whispers “Screw you Abed” as soon as he sees his path laid out for him: become a teacher at the school who, he thinks, stole 4 years of his life. He looks up like he’s delivering a monologue in theater, like he’s alone, like he’s praying.
As you can see, I feel VERY normal about the acting choices.
Screw you, Abed. Screw you, TV show. Screw you, logical way for my character to stay and have the rest of my story be mine, or trying to be.
The table burns, but that’s okay, because they build a new one together. This is truly theirs, now. They have the power to do anything.
And Jeff, well…
Jeff still, in his darkest moments, thought of his friends. In his most ironic moment, looked UP to Abed/his mirror/the narrative and said “Screw you…
…I’ll do it anyway.”

I finished the 87 series as a whole (except the European vacay season like I can't find it anywhere) and want to cry!!! My boys!!! I can't believe it's done!!!
What an awesome show. I might have to rewatch it just to write down more notes and thoughts. ;)
Anyways here's some headcanons about my sweet 87 boys and some show observations:
Hopefully with this people might give the show a chance. It's so delightful and charming. You won't be disappointed.
🐢🧡🐢💜🐢♥️🐢💙
The turtles are all basically 3-4 years old. They make tons of comments about living half their lives in a fish bowl and when Yoshi comes across them they're still babies. When they're shown mutating, they go from baby turtles to the older bipedal forms we know them by.
They're all identical sans their voices. (In the 87 show not only does April have trouble telling them apart at the beginning but so do the animators in every episode)
They all seem to possess super strength and some levels of invulnerability. Donatello in particular had a multiple story brick building dropped on him, which he just walked off. They've all shown varying skills such as bending metal with their bare hands. Raphael as a practical joke in one episode picks up a couch and hurls it at Donatello just to be smartass. Leonardo cuts metal like tinfoil.
They still think of themselves as turtles first and foremost, so they don't refer to each other as brothers. (despite the fact they're totally brothers) and simply address each other as friends. (They're brothers tho we all know the truth 💕)
Something not explained in the opening of the 3rd season, the turtles as babies, before they mutate, are shown with different shell patterns. While it's not obvious which turtle is which it is neat the artists went out of their way to animate each turtle with a unique pattern.
When you watch the show the amount of people and mutants that dislike the turtles is shocking. For a fun kids show made in the late 80's to mid 90's, it's basically a huge allegory to the civil rights movements and you can even take relevance to human rights movements of today.
Despite being so lovable they have only a small circle of friends. Most of those friends at some point have betrayed them too.
The boys have seen two different futures of themselves. (not counting their shared apocalypse nightmares) The first future is where they get old together in a mansion and they're heralded as heroes and everyone likes them. The second future doesn't show them but in the second future it's stated being a mutant is a crime punishable by death and all mutants are criminals regardless of deeds. This is before the red skies studio era of writing. That's before it's supposed to get edgy.
They all are highly intelligent. They can each pilot every vehicle ever present in the show despite none of them having a formal education, license, or understanding of the rules of the road. Michelangelo in particular seems to have a knack for US fighter jets.
In season 7 episode 11, titled "Dirk Savage: Mutant Hunter!" We meet two new mutants named Rahzar and Tokka. They're a gay couple. You don't believe me? Go watch the episode. I'm not pulling your leg. I swear. I promise. It's a good episode go watch it.
Master Splinter calls them his sons. He also calls Carter, his newest student, son occasionally too. It's his term of endearment.
The turtles in this version are known to get sick pretty regularly. (probably because of their still developing immune systems). They always get sick as a group and they totally soak up the pampering.
They in the first season share a 4 stack bunk bed and then after the bunk is destroyed in the season 1 finale they each get their own alcoves which they treat as their own rooms.
I didn't remember which Punk Frog said it, but one of them called Leonard and Michelangelo his Bubba which is a term of endearment for brother. The punk frogs call each other bubba too. So unlike the turtles they were either all frog brothers who mutated together or after mutating they just decided they're brothers and they also adopted the turtles as their brothers too.
Mondo Gecko seems older in this series because of his appearance but he's the same age as the turtles and actually mutated from the same ooze as them on the same day at the same time so he in 87 is like a mix of their brother and cousin? He's related regardless. (We all know the truth in our hearts)
Shredder and Krang act like a married couple who've been married too long and are on the cusp of a divorce but they've been together too long so they just keep tolerating eachother.
They all love the unhinged gross unholy pizza combos. Michaelangelo's stated combos are actually tame compared to some of the things they've eaten. One episode the boys committed to the bit so hard they ate lit candles just to mess with Michelangelo. They get pregnant sardine fudge pizza cravings at midnight. They put cereal on regular pizza for breakfast. They hate vegetables though. They literally gag when Splinter eats sushi. They refuse to eat bugs despite their turtle origins (interesting enough the Punk Frogs don't even like pizza at all first unlike them) but like they will eat out of the garbage. But not fresh handmade sushi.
They're so casual about being in public. Like they have disguises but sometimes they just go out in public as themselves. They also have so many elaborate disguises. In the first episode their first instinct to blend in was to throw on bright neon shoes, various bomber jackets, and start publicly beatboxing and breakdancing.
The turtles get called slurs by Shredder, Bebop, and Rocksteady. The slur in question is "Shellback" . When Donatello makes an evil clone the first thing the clone does is call him that slur. It's so funny like that's yourself. Donatello basically called himself ugly. Why is that so funny.
Shredders go to threat in the show and many other villains go to insult is to straight up threaten to eat them. Like, do none of the villains care about getting salmonella? Why do all the villains want to eat them?
Something I've noticed, they refuse to use nicknames. They only use each other's full names. It makes me wonder why? I theorize it's probably to do with the fact Master Splinter gave them their names and that's the first thing they received? It's not like they're not playful enough to use nicknames.
Despite his fatherly role in their lives, the turtle boys don't call Splinter their father and this is more than likely to do with the fact they see themselves as turtles and know they have turtle parents. (Again we know the truth)
April in this show is an adrenaline junky. She's also a child endangerer. She's helped save the day a lot but she would much rather the world burn so she can film it as her next big scoop.
The boys treat April like their mom in this show. April herself doesn't really get that. In one episode she got poison flowers and thought it was from the boys and went to "let them down gently" because she thought they romantically liked her.
April on multiple occasions reads bed time stories to them. She in one episode read the same bedtime story 4 times just because they liked it that much. She was going to read it a 5th time just for Leonardo.
When Zack, the 5th turtle, was in danger instead of helping him April shouted "What a scoop!" and filmed a child in a death trap.
Splinter believes in wholesome gaslighting in this show. He once cured three of them of permanent balloon-itis with moth balls but made up a story about how it was an ancient mythical legendary cure. Then after they were better he said it was moth balls.
April actually got fired from her job because she wouldn't badmouth the turtles on live television (also for other reasons). She focused on freelance while helping the boys on the side.
April is really bamf. She's actually saved the turtles just as much as they save her.
I just want everyone to know I love these little guys. The turtles are pure little snookie pookie baby bookies. No one knows the amount of space these silly little fictional turtles take up in my heart.
I hope maybe with more word out people might give the 1987 tmnt show a chance. It's really cute and funny. A super enjoyable time. It doesn't deserve the ragging it gets from other shows and fanbases. They're just goobers.
Thanks for reading my ramble list. :)
Also! if there's any fanfic recs please let me know I'm making a list and checking it twice ;)

Hawks line to Skippy in the hospital about not being sure of anything anymore I think was a pretty good indication about how this will end. That coupled with the confrontation Lucy will have with her daughter in the next episode, and telling her to ask her father, he's clearly going to have to tell his daughter something. He can't go back to the status quo. His old life is not an option anymore. I really kind of love how they have set all this in motion. He's exhausted by his life. It's been strange to me to see all the people who say he looks older than 64 (ignoring the fact that Matt is one of the most beautiful people ever) it surprises me that lots of people seem to have missed that's why he looks older. He lives an entire life in contrast to his true self. He's exhausted by the facade. The wear and tear on his face and in his features is the entire point. He chose a life that suffocated his true self. And it was one thing when he knew Tim was still out there somewhere and there was always the maybe of it all. That disappears with Tim's death. The only part of him that he kept authentic was his love for Tim. What does his life look like in a world with no Tim?
I'm not going to get into the does he or doesn't he love Lucy thing. I believe he loves her in a very particular way, but I would argue his feelings for her always had more to do with his love and admiration of her father, and a sense of obligation to him, than they ever did with her. I do believe he loves his children. But he is a man that is now realizing and coming to terms with the fact that he missed his entire life. What could have been, which he sees very clearly in Marcus and Frankie, if he had been brave enough to fight for it. It's why I genuinely am stunned by the reaction of some people to his character. He is the living embodiment of self hate and that's heartbreaking. The realization that the life he longed for could have been his if he had just tried. The show has done an amazing job of setting up the last episode. Your other anon is correct. They deserve that conversation. Both of them.
Oh anon you're so right!!!
Thats why i dont get people who hate Hawk either!! This man has suffered in silence literally all of his life, has had to hide who he was from literally everyone he cared for. His father hated him for being who he was, his adoptive father figure (senator smith obvs) also hated the concept of what Hawk was (but he didnt know Hawk was it). Like that scene where s. Smith is talking horribly about Leonard and the fact hes gay and Hawk just has to listen and cant say anything bc itd mean his downfall too?? Like that man was everything for Hawk and to have him speak so bad of, without knowing, what he really was mustve been so so so painful.
It would be wonderful for both to just... let themselves love and be loved freely.
I just wanna give Hawk a hug, hes my poor little meow meow (who makes terrible decisions)

I create my own daily television playlists at home. I don't like anything on television or streaming nowadays. So I keep my television switched off most of the time. But when it is on, it's either showing a movie I pulled from my DVD library (it's vast, I tend to be a little OCD and for years I obsessively bought DVDs of movies and TV shows I liked) or it's showing one of the episodes of old TV shows I have season sets of (or I use Roku to watch old shows on Youtube). For instance today I started off with an episode of The Waltons after waking up, then I watched an episode of Ripley's Believe It or Not! (the good version with Jack Palance from the 80s, not the failed 2k's reboot) about an hour after my morning walk, followed by Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom with Marlin Perkins. Later on, if I'm not too tired I have episodes of The Rockford Files and Barnaby Jones lined up. The shows change from day to day. There's usually an old Star Trek episode in there somewhere. Or an In Search Of episode narrated by the late Leonard Nimoy (I watched the one about hurricanes yesterday). Unlike modern shows they don't make me roll my eyes or just switch them off because the content is so vapid and the best part for me is that I have a terrible memory so even if I have seen the shows before, it's been decades and I usually can't remember them. So it's always like seeing them for the first time.
Jake used to laugh and ask if I secretly wanted to be a TV programmer as a kid. But now he does it himself with old shows he enjoyed back in the 90's and very early 2ks.

Did you see the script of the scrapped Hargreaves 23rd birthday episode? I think it's called "Happy Twenty-Third." If so what were your thoughts on it? Especially curious about what you think of Five parts.
I did! I enjoyed reading it, was fun to get different glimpses, but I'm not sure how "scrapped" it is versus one of the writers wrote some official fanfic. Which is still lots of fun! But it didn't feel... polished enough, to me, doesn't fit in right with S1 to have been anything that was going to be Official.
Loved the Allison bit, how she struggled so hard to not Rumor and her facing a bit on what people thought of her. I do think S3 Allison might not have had such a terrible backlash if there had been some more overt showing of her behavior pre-redemption; it was always a bit of a choice to start Allison's arc at her redemption, rather than that being a full arc we went on with her as the audience. But I do appreciate S1's subtlety in how they hint and drop at How Much Allison Rumored before then (as if "I Rumored my daughter constantly" wasn't enough).
The stuff with Klaus in jail felt fitting - loved that he got to use his Umbrella training (I feel like fandom likes to forget that he does have training and can hold his own in a fight when he wants to), loved that Leonard was lurking in the background of all those scenes. Interesting choice to have that be when Ben shows up, sixish years after he died. Klaus' conversation with Viktor was a lot of fun but---
Viktor felt... too fulfilled in this. Yes, he's coming off his success of Extra Ordinary but that he was in a serious relationship? With a woman? From how I always interpreted S1 Viktor, my understanding was that he had Nothing going on (because he couldn't because of how much the pills subdued him). The most boring, blandest life. That he was in a serious relationship, not just a couple dates in an attempt for one, and that it was with a woman felt like too much. The intensity with which he falls for Leonard (six years after this script takes place) always felt like, to me, that this was the first time someone showed him genuine interest and the first time, because no pills, he was really able to reciprocate. His fling with Sissy also felt like it was supposed to be interpreted to be his first time falling in love and having a relationship with a woman. Viktor before this point was too suppressed to explore his sexuality or gender. He couldn't until he was off the pills and found Sissy. So the fact that he was apparently in a then-lesbian relationship when he was 23 feels... off. That said, him finding out he was cheated on on his birthday felt Spot On for his life (rip, sorry Viktor). His conversation with Klaus was a lot of fun, too. He really did not hold back in Extra Ordinary, guy pulled no punches. But we already knew that Viktor has a vindictive streak a mile wide.
Not a lot to say about Diego - I always like Patch, his rivalry with the other cop felt fitting, I like it when the show lets him casually use his powers and remembers it's anything he throws and not just knives.
Same with Luther - he was Real Dumb but also 23 and really under Reggie so I can give his characterization benefit of the doubt. A fun nod to the Murder Magician with that plot.
And, now, the guy we're all here for: Five. Loved what he had going on with the Handler, I'm obsessed with their fucked up relationship. I think S1 handled it perfectly, hinting at things and letting viewers interpret to what degree of Fucked Up it is. I think him having a moment to himself with the woman in the bar was nice, good to see he's sort of living what little life he has. I haven't decided how I feel about her being named Delores. On one hand, a cute way to have caught his attention and shows he's thinking about his plastic wife. On the other, in light of S3 (which maybe isn't a fair thing to compare to because this is a S1 based script), I'm wary of casual references to Delores. She was treated so much as a joke in S3 (all the references to mannequins to Five, Five running down the hall with mannequin limbs) when in S1 she was the gorgeous, poignant piece of Five, this person he made for himself that was the best of him and he loved because he had no one else to love. So having the woman be named Delores also feels a little cheap. But nice for Five to get to have a normal moment, a human connection before he goes and murders and then comes back to try and continue that connection before the Commission intervenes (S1 Commission, my beloved). And then he gets to see Diego and he immediately fails the test that it is because of course he's going to fail anything that involves his family. That was great, and followed by a creepy, rather overt moment with the Handler? Excellent. Overall, good Five times.
So... where does that leave us overall. Did I enjoy reading it? Yes. Did I gain a better understanding of the characters and wish it was official? No. I feel like we already knew everything we get from the script from S1 and that S1 does it in a tighter way. Do I still want to watch Five having a nice time and dancing with that woman in the bar? Yeah, yeah I do. Old Five always deserves more love and I won't say no to more Five bits with Sean Sullivan, he's delightful.

season 4 rewatch thoughts! overall, this season feels very dark, much darker in tone than s3. when I when I look at all the episodes next to each other, the only true “funny” episode is “small potatoes” (”sanguinarium” and “el mundo gira” are lighter in tone in some scenes but still overall pretty dark). this is probably in part due to darin morgan leaving the show, but I also think that the cancer arc looms large over the whole season, even in the episodes before “leonard betts” to some degree, especially since on rewatch I knew it was coming.
it’s also interesting to see how much more physical M/S are with each other this season, especially compared to s3-- so many little touches and 5(!) hugs when we only had two hugs in s2 (irresistible, anasazi) and one in s3 (paper clip). there are many metas that can be written about why but it’s interesting to observe the change.
writing: morgan and wong’s episodes this season felt a little inexplicably off compared to their earlier work (except for “never again”), and I wonder if it was hard for them to find their groove again after the tone shift and sort of stabilization that happened in s3 while they were gone. vince gilligan was definitely my favorite writer this season, but i did actually really enjoy the chris carter/frank spotnitz writing team too-- the two-part myth arcs were more consistently good this season.
favorite episodes: paper hearts, leonard betts, never again, memento mori, tempus fugit/max, demons
71% worth rewatching (a little less than s3 at 75%)
episode opinion tags under the cut
Herrenvolk- some good moments but not really any resolution? not explained v well
Home- creepy af, but didn’t enjoy it as much on rewatch? felt a bit heavy handed
Teliko- not the best racial commentary lol but they were trying. M/S both look hot af tho
Unruhe- a minute Vince Gilligan slay
The Field Where I Died- a little too woo woo even for the x files lol, but some good moments!
Sanguinarium- it’s okay. witchy! Mulder and Scully are hot af tho
Musings of a Cigarette-Smoking Man- CSM backstory, kind of feels like US History fanfic or a Forrest Gump parody?? Almost zero M/S
Tunguska- kind of action movie vibes? decent
Terma- same as prev, very Bourne identity vibes…the congressional hearing scene makes me screammm tho lol
Paper Hearts- so so good but so sad
El Mundo Gira- the aliens/illegal aliens metaphor was a lil convoluted, but decent overall
Leonard Betts- wild!! and really good!!
Never Again- get it* Scully!!! *tramp stamp and some dick
Memento Mori- nooooo  :(((((
Kaddish- better than expected!
Unrequited- boringgg
Tempus Fugit- pretty good! scully’s birthday scene was so sweet :))
Max- really good! chilling plane crash sequence and love the M/S scenes especially the keychain speech at the end
Synchrony- interesting sci-fi concept, Mulder has memorized Scully’s thesis :’)
Small Potatoes- really funny but the second hand embarrassment is STRONG
Zero Sum- killer bees! and no Scully :(
Elegy- that convo at the end…gonna lose it. otherwise a bit meh.
Demons- really good whodunnit, sad when u think about the *implications*
Gethsemane- ahhh that cliffhanger! very Plot heavy tho

Leonard Snart for character ask game
one aspect about them i love
How much he loves his sister. Len has a lot of vulnerability beneath his tough guy, criminal exterior and of course so many of us saw him having a blast being a super villain and looking giddy over being given a super villain name (and the fanbase went collectively 'fellow nerd!!!!'), but I think it's how much he loves Lisa that calls to me the most about him.
They clearly enjoy working together and Len sees her as his equal, but he's never going to get over being her big brother. He'll do anything to protect her. If that means working with their abusive father, then Len will do it and damn his pride. If that means killing their abusive father, then Len will do that and live with the trauma of it afterwards. If it means freezing his own hand off...
Well, Leonard Snart would do anything to protect his sister.
one aspect i wish more people understood about them
He finds Iris just as interesting and attractive as he does Barry.
Len finds out who Barry is, which points him at the Flash's long time and obvious crush on Iris West. He probably didn't expect to find her interesting in her own right, but he clearly does. Len follows her writing and is willing to ditch the Legends - his own personal quest to determine who he is without his father - just because Iris is in danger. Nothing Len gets out of that personally; Barry says Iris is in trouble and Len just drops everything for her. Someone he's barely interacted with in person.
Yes, Iris is important to Barry and Barry is important to Len, but I think if Barry had mentioned Joe or Caitlin then Len would have hemmed and hawed and made Barry work harder for his help. (Cisco probably would have been an immediately agreement too, but more for Lisa's sake than Len's own investment.)
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character
Len enjoys classical music. It's not cluttered up with lyrics and can display impressive timing, which make it easy to have as background noise when planning heists. Though he doesn't often play music while plotting, just when there are other noises he needs to block out in order to focus.
That said, Len is a fan of rock music - ACDC, Nine Inch Nails - but also some country... mainly Johnny Cash. Whenever he's in jail and Lisa or Mick (or Barry) visit, he tries to fit in at least one reference to Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison Blues. Mick and Lisa are annoyed with this by now, but Barry is new enough to this quirk to be absolutely delighted.
one character i love seeing them interact with
Barry. They are both so clearly in their element as villain and hero and there is no denying they were both looking kinda giddy at the train showdown. There's this energy between Barry and Len whether they're antagonizing each other or working together with teeth-clenched teamwork or realizing that, actually, they do enjoy teaming up together.
one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more
Lisa. We did not get nearly enough Sniblings content before Leonard died and Lisa was just... never seen again. Their dynamic was so great, it seems a shame that the last time they're both in an episode... we never see them interact. Lisa's all about saving her brother from their dad and Leonard is all about saving Lisa from their dad but... I don't think we see them interact at all in that episode. And it's such a shame.
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have that involve them and one other character
Len's been Iris' anonymous source on at least one article she wrote while still with the CCPN. It resulted in his favorite investigative piece she's written.

FASCISM ON THE RISE
FASCISM ON THE RISE - https://keywestlou.com/fascism-on-the-rise/Fascism is on the rise in the U.S. and other countries. Accompanied by the anti-Semitism which is an integral part of it. I received a comment this morning to a comment by me re fascism in yesterday's blog. The comment received: "What happened to Never Again?" Well asked, Leonard. Democrat Tim Ryan and Republican J.D. Vance vying in the Ohio Senatorial race. Debated for the first time last night. Ryan pulled no punches. Called them as he saw them. Reminded Vance how Trump called him an "ass-kisser" at an earlier Republican rally. More importantly, how Vance took the insult. Joe Scarborough reminded his listeners this morning how Vance in 2016 publicly said, "Christians can't vote for Donald Trump." Ryan slightly behind. Ohio heavily Republican. Has supported Trump in the last two Presidential elections. It appears the better and more honest Senator would be Ryan. Hope he wins. On this day in 1991, Anita Hill testified before the Senate Judiciary  Committee where she accused Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment. The next day, Thomas responded to the Committee that the proceeding was a "high-tech lynching." I watched on TV. The whole nation did. I found Hill believable. Thomas not. His "high-tech lynching" statement delivered in high emotion. As a Justice, I have found Thomas lacking. His whole judicial career. One of the worst Supreme Court Justices ever. His first 25 years on the bench, I doubt he asked one question. Strange because that is what Supreme Court Justices do. I attributed his silence and still do to his lack of intelligence and fear it would reveal itself. Joe Biden was Chairman of the Judiciary Committee at the time. I have always been a fan. Not during the Thomas proceeding, however. Biden was chauvinist. Treated Hill in a condescending fashion. He disappointed me by not giving Hill the respect she was entitled to as a voluntary witness in an important proceeding. The most recent Putin missile salvo is the "first episode" of Russian revenge for the Crimea Bridge bombing. So sayeth Vladimir Putin. Zelensky will retaliate. As he should. Ukraine should bomb whatever building houses Putin's offices. His West Wing, so to speak. I am not sure which Moscow building it is. The Kremlin? The Kremlin is a series of historical Russian buildings. I would suspect that is where. However, not sure. Wherever, do it. The Russian people are aware  Putin set the "war" scenario in operation. He will bear the blame for bringing the "war" to the streets of Moscow. Perhaps the Russian people will rise in revolt. I was in the mood for two things last night. Sally O'Brien's and liver and onions. Sally O'Brien's was desolate. Ian had flooded the restaurant. Only about one third of the usual crowd there. Painting, etc. has to be redone. The sense of the flooding remained, though no water visible. The liver and onions were not affected. My mother would be proud that I remember her cooking the dish and still enjoy it so many years later. I returned home to a huge dripping sound. In the middle of the living room. A one foot in diameter ceiling leak. Too late for Ian. I assume it is the air conditioner. No  significant damage. Placed a huge pan underneath and turned off the air conditioner. Hopefully repair man will come today. Still mid 80's in Key West. I am writing at the moment with the ceiling fan going full blast. Enjoy your day!

hello I am doing such a bad job at sharing occasional chapter previews from my k/s novel consistently so here's one from last week
“I beg your pardon, Doctor?” “At Spock’s wedding,” he says. “You weren’t there. Matter of fact, you weren’t there for decades. So what if my mind, my grief is loud? Maybe yours should be louder. I was there for him and as a matter of fact, it smarts like hell and I’ll be damned if I apologize for that.” “You speak of things you do not understand, Doctor,” Sarek says with considerable acid. “I suggest you hold your tongue.” And now he’s in too deep to back out. He’s embarrassing himself and he doesn’t care. “Do I? Is that condescension because I’m the species you couldn’t stand your son being half?”
If you want to know why McCoy is arguing with Sarek, my fic "I Shall Do Neither" is here at AO3. <3

BIG BANG THEORY BAZINGA BALL PIT TV
The Big Bang Theory Season 6, and Complete 1-6 Boxset are released on Monday 2nd September on DVD and Blu-ray. If you have any other favourites, let us know in the comments, and remember to enter our competition to win The Complete Seasons 1-6 Boxset of The Big Bang Theory here. However, luckily for them it paid off, and it has become one of The Big Bang Theory's most memorable moments. The confidence that the creative team had for this scene must have been high, as they allowed it to run for a good minute, which is a long time when it's essentially the same joke over and over. Sheldon finds this ball pit hide and seek hilarious, as shown by his utterance of "bazinga" every time he emerges. Clearly, he's not meant to be at the mall's ball pit at night and so Leonard must go and retrieve him after a security guard's phone call, but this just results in Sheldon hiding in the ball pit, forcing Leonard to chase him round. Season 3 Episode 14: The Ball Pit The classic extended gag: Sheldon is obsessed with finding the answer to a physics problem and so sneaks out in the middle of the night in the hope that using the balls as physical representations of atoms will help him find his answer (he's already tried and failed with lima beans, peas and marbles). 1 (diving in and out of the ball pit) "bazinga!" the best bazinga moment is when sheldon is diving in and out of the ball pit saying "bazinga!" as leonard tries to grab him.1. in this episode, sheldon was overworked and exhausted. sheldon we love sheldon because hes always making us laugh, even though its usually.

Big Bang Theory Sheldon S Best Moments Youtube. It airs weeknights at 7 and 7.30 in my area. It's one of the funniest shows I've seen in a long time. "If you don't come out of there I'm going to drag you out." I almost had a heart attack when I watched the scene with Leonard and Sheldon in the ball pit. Which then lead to Leonard diving in after Sheldon, but having a difficult time trying to grab him. My other favorite thus far was when Sheldon and Leonard's pad is robbed, so Sheldon, feeling insecure, decides to relocate to Bozeman, Montana - which I wonder if it was an indirect reference to Star Trek: First Contact (And also Brannon Braga's place of birth). I laughed so hard when Sheldon first arrives, he's not there thirty seconds and is immediately robbed. What I love about Sheldon is he is incredibly smart but at the same time incredibly dumb.Ĭlick to expand.I think the purpose of the scene at Wil's party was to show him "passing the torch" to Brent Spiner, Sheldon's new famous Star Trek mortal enemy. I think we may see more Brent Spiner on the show in the future. I didn't really like the Bernadette/Howard story either, and I agree that I am starting to like their characters less and less.
