Chapter 1: stranger
“Fuck!” I mutter stamping my foot, realising I walked in a completely different direction I was supposed to.
Hell, I guess that’s because there’s hardly any phone service in this area which means I have to find my way to a job interview so I can finally earn more money for myself; a cashier at a gas station, pretty lame but hey. Money is money.
As soon as the reception is back I go into maps and reload the page, my phone battery dying almost immediately. How am I going to get to this interview on time? What if they reject me on the spot? The questions jumble across my mind.
“Hey, are you lost?” a mans voice comes up behind me, his breath ticking my neck because of how close he’s getting.
“excuse me I’m talking to you.” He repeats.
“Oh Uh, I actually am, I’m looking for the l-local gas station around here, I’m late to a job interview and my phones dead.” My body trembles slightly as I turn around and look up at the man who’s talking to me.
“You know, you could’ve taken a short cut, tho it seems a bit late now doesn’t it, mmm? You did say you’re running late after all.. how about I give you a lift home? It’ll just take longer trying to find your way around..”
“I don’t know if I can trust you.. I-I don’t even know you!” My voice is shaky, eyes watery, scared about what to do.
“Shhh shsh.. first off; you can call me Chan or Chris, and it’s okay don’t worry, look if you’re that scared you can hold my pocket knife while I drive.”
The car ride is silent. My hands starting to get sweaty from gripping onto the pocket knife. It’s a bit too quiet so I decide to talk, asking a simple question.
“Hey Chris? What do you do for work? Your cars pretty nice and everything so I’m wondering.”
“It’s personal business.” he replies in a tone cold enough to send brutal shivers throughout my body.
Personal.. business? What the hell does he mean? I probably shouldn’t ask any further questions who knows what he can do to me, he’s just a random man who offered me a ride home.
“Hey uh. My house is that way…” I reassure him. “Chan, i s-said my house is that wa…” my body goes cold as I say that, a sharp and cold sensation thrusts into my arm; almost like a needle. I can’t see anything. It’s just black and red. Red and black, my whole body feels numb
A few hours later. I find myself waking up tied to a chair.
“oh so your finally up..” foot steps approach me.
“Chan..?Where am I..what did you do?” I say scared, feeling his hands on my face as he takes off my blindfold, finally letting me see where I am. It’s a dark room with one singular light bulb hanging from the ceiling, looking down I notice I’m tied to a chair.
“i had to do this, otherwise probably wouldn’t have seen you again, going out isn’t really my thing.. I could be caught..”
He reassures me, moving behind the chair and placing his hands on my shoulders.
“C-Chan.. w-why I am tied up.. please let me go.”
“Mmmmm… we were attacked recently and you could’ve got taken if I didn’t secure you in one spot..” his hot breath tickles my neck, making me gasp at how close he is.
He continues talking but I zone out, instead focusing on the way his breath feels on my neck, making my legs shaking under his touch. “What do you think I should do with you?” “what do you m-mean..” I mumble.
“you’re so easy..” I feel his lips move along my jawline. “I could kill you right now and be done with you like everyone else I bring back here.. but i want something else.” He continues.
His tongue traces along my neck, I swallow hard, unable to form words. “I like you, princess, you have a certain charm that intrigues me.. maybe I’ll untie you, but only if you stay here with me… hm?”
“Chan? Are you in there?” Someone pounds on the door, from the voice it seems like another man. “Yep, Just uh, give me a minute Felix.”
Chan turns back to me and whispers into my ear again. “I’ll be back soon, Okay? Stay here.”
He leaves a light kiss on my earlobe before opening the door and leaving me all alone.
Many questions run through my mind; what does he do? Who is he? Why is he treating me like this?
I want to get out of this chair, i need to. But I’m forced to sit down. I want to cry, i want to scream. I hate it. The sound of nothing fills the air, i look around for anything to help me get out. There’s literally nothing at all. Only the chair and a lightbulb.
I could yell, i have the ability to speak but who knows what this man is capable of? The only thing I can really do is stare at the empty space around me, as much as it is useless it’s better than overthinking about everything. After what feels like hours i hear the door click, a man with a mask enters, i can’t tell who it is due to the mask hiding all of his facial features, i can tell that his arms are buff and he’s fit though, with a similar figure to Chan.
“C-chan..?” I mumble out, lip quivering as i look at the guy in front of me.
“Yeah. Don’t move, need to take you out of this room.” He groans, untying the ropes around my legs and wrists, making me fall to the ground as he takes the chair away.
“H-huh? Why..?” I question, taking his hand and walking out of the room with him.
“Stop asking questions. I’ll explain it all soon” Chan snaps back. Once we’re out of the empty room the area around us changes drastically, red carpet, lanterns on the wall. Almost like a palace, enough to make me gasp in response to my surroundings.
“Follow me.”

reg has always been into journalism but the reason why he decided to focus on boxing is because of sirius!! it was a way to combine his passion AND his appreciation for his brother so it seemed like the perfect idea
as u can see the black brothers have a great relationship in this one and they left home together (but reg still talks to their parents on occassion)
james' trainer used to be his dad since monty was a very famous and admired boxer until he retired but . some shit happened and now james doesn't even speak to his father
sirius and james do not get along in this fic . they're rivals and james is threatening to take sirius' spot at the top so . they're openly hostile with each other and fans always take sides
regulus secretly enjoys being forced to interview james bc he finds him intriguing (and really fucking attractive but that's neither here nor there)
lily and james are sort of friends here bc they used to hook up (they still kinda do when the story starts) and reg gets soooo jealous whenever he sees them together
despite them getting along . there WILL be black brothers angst . considering reg is fucking the enemy
james and reg are always indirecting each other on twitter
james is a Prick in this one, he's my most arrogant james so far and he has . terrible anger issues .
this is one of the main reasons why his relationship with reg is so messy during most of the story (james does grow and change quite a bit throughout it tho)
barty loses a lot of his fights on purpose and lets himself be hurt because he has a very concerning obsession with the nurse (yes evan is the nurse)
barty and james' beef is even more legendary than sirius and james' beef simply bc their rivalry is absolutely unhinged and they lose all sense of decorum or sportsmanshin when they're in each other's vicinity
this fic is gonna be very explicit like . oby level explicit . it'll take a bit to start but once it does.. Yeah
peter and sirius are besties in this one and believe me the irony isn't lost on me
james and reg are caught fucking a few times . and it never stops them from continuing fucking . in fact, james gets even more enthusiastic
reg is trans in this one <3
genuinely considering writing a rosekiller side story in this one bc . i'm kinda obsessed with them here
reg's only friend (apart from barty once he meets him and his brother) is pandora, who's one of his coworkers and the one who has to hear all the graphic details about his hookups with james
she's a lot more interested in the pretty ginger referee she sees whenever she accompanies reg to the matches tho..
i'm planning to be . kinda realistic when it comes to portraying the repercussions of getting involved with a famous athlete (especially considering reg's job) and the whole relationship going public
james' most important ritual/good luck charm involves reg getting on his knees <3 after they start hooking up he refuses to get on the ring without reg sucking him off first
remus is very against james getting involved with reg (even tho he knows that mf is gonna end up doing whatever the hell he wants)
james and remus have been friends since they were kids so despite all the bickering and arguing they're very close
james doesn't wear glasses often because of all the fighting (but reg likes him better with them)

Tomorrow & Tomorrow & Tomorrow
SPOILERS AHEAD
Oh man you guys! I really enjoyed this episode! I loved it way more than The Broken Circle but I did not love it as much as I loved Ad Astra Per Aspera but that episode was so a cut above the average (as in in the running for best episodes of Trek ever written caliber stuff). That it hardly seems fair to say so because this episode was an absolute JOY to watch! Lol! I love a good time travel romp!
I remembered enjoying Paul Wesley’s Kirk in A Quality of Mercy but I wasn’t sure whether I was just riding the high of the previous season or whether he could pull it off twice. But he did and I really really like his interpretation of Jim. I honestly like it a lot better than Chris Pine’s if I’m super honest with y’all.
I mean he UNDERSTOOD the assignment! He was definitely at his Kirkiest when they initially arrived in the 21st century that body language and cadence was on point despite him not looking too much like Shatner. I mean hats off to the writers too for that one. The passion for chess without being overly cocky. The all of it!
There was something about the hot dogs scene and letting La’an have the bed in the hotel that felt very Tarsus IV even tho that might not have happened in this timeline. It’s still very James Kirk of him. Not to mention the whole bit where his type is overachiever, kinda uptight but also dark and mysterious and dare I say a little out of his league folks. Whom he charms without being pushy into warming up to him and letting their guard down. Also THANK YOU to the writers and to Wesley for recognizing Kirk Drift and acknowledging our boy is a hopeless romantic and NOT a babe hound.
I called the La’an/Kirk thing way before it happened because of it. And from what was implied in the Ready Room interview with Paul Wesley it sounds as though we might get more La’an & Jim content in the future which I certainly wouldn’t object to! Although we are skirting the edge of when Jim & Carol Marcus supposedly met so that might get a lil complicated but the seasons (because they’re sorter) might not be 1:1 with years so they’ve got some wiggle room to work with.
I love seeing the cinematic parallels between Kirk & Jim’s love interest stuff in SNW that clearly draws them to each other later on. Chapel is a lot like Kirk and Spock is falling for her pretty hard. La’an is a lot like Spock by the time we meet him in TOS (not too similar to SNW baby Spock though) and they fell for each other pretty badly too! For example, both La’an & Spock are terrified of Kirk’s insane driving skills (or lack thereof lmao)! But enough about Jim & the whole K/S kitten caboodle! This episode is about LA’AN :D
Holy shit did La’an need what’s been happening with her in these past couple episodes. She got to face her generational trauma headlong, she got to see a mirror in Kirk and further realize the value of enjoying the fleeting and precious joys of life. By both convincing this alternate timeline version of Kirk that her version of the world is worth saving (also not the “Sam’s alive?” 😭 because his older brother dies unexpectedly and tragically in both timelines DONT TOUCH MEEEE, also not the potential Kirk bros content going forward also 😭). To eating the damn hot dog, and presumably letting Kirk talk her into taking the bed and just ugggggh.
And then HE DIES! They fridged Captain James T. Kirk of all people for HER character development lmao how’s THAT for a twist. Historically it’s been the other way around how’s that feel for once Jimbo? Damn!
Sera was an interesting villain, she was a good twist honestly felt like something was up with her the minute she had pics of that romukan ship. Also, I love all the self referential like, “yes we acknowledge this changed a little bit” stuff that’s happened. Like the Temporal Wars are why the Eugenics war is supposed to start around *now* and not the 90s like previously stated and Sera has been trapped trying to fulfill her mission for 30 years. Or how clearly Jim thinks everybody calls his brother George and only he gets to call him Sam when clearly that’s not the case lol. It’s nice little touches like that that really make me feel validated for having faith in the writers when nitpickers complain.
Also PELIA! She’s an art thief?! Incredible! Hilarious! Brilliant! No notes! Although it JUST occurred to me that because La’an went to Pelia before the whole “preventing the timeline from changing entirely” bit does THAT mean that La’an can at least talk to Pelia about what happened?! Because it’s implied La’an is who inspired her to become an engineer and that’s still part of our prime timeline! Maybe it’s like a Guinan and Picard situation! I think La’an should get to sob into the arms of our funky little klepto engineer grandma as a treat instead of breaking down alone in her room, please and thank you!
Anyway, baller episode! 9/10

there was an interview with the bat seiyuu in this magazine and i finally sat down to read it (almost two months after its release *wheezes*) and here were the highlights!!!!
it’s basically the whole thing so buckle in lol
upon being asked how they felt about bat’s anime debut, all three of them revealed they were certain they would have had a last episode cameo LOL
sakakihara-san even gave us what he thought the dialogue would be lmao so there was a lot of disappointment when they were told only rei was making a s1 appearance
needless to say, they are very happy bat’s now in rhyme anima lol
they were asked how their impressions of the characters has shifted over the years!!!
hayama-san responded when he first played kuukou, he got the sense he was a massive brat lol but that bad attitude of his stemmed from his understanding of the world. kuukou’s mellowed as the story progressed and had him experience more, eg establishing his teacher-pupil relationship with jyushi, and now understands how to navigate others weaknesses with tolerance and warmth
he’s still childish and still has a high perception of the world and that clash is where kuukou’s energy stems from. he’s at a crossroads between youth and maturity so to say
hayama recalls recording for kuukou’s first radio where he was a lot more mature, and then moving to chaser from the past, the track where he invades fragrance, and how hard it was adjusting mentalities LOL
harmonious cooperation really drove home for hayama-san that kuukou was the sun tho!!!!
that strength and energy that opens and paves the way is how sakakihara-san and takeuchi-san can tell he’s the leader
on that note, hayama-san mentions he’s never seen kuukou’s weaknesses. compared to jyushi and hitoya, we know next to nothing about kuukou’s past besides that he reached a point higher in his asceticism than his father and hopes to see everything leading up to it someday
for sakakihara-san, he was told jyushi was a crybaby and assumed he was a weak person. but once he learned about jyushi’s past, he realised that even tho he does cry, he’s still able to assert his feelings and doesn’t back down from anything, so jyushi actually has a very strong heart
jyushi sings in moonlight shadow, ‘i bask in the spotlight’s growing brilliance, in seizing a mic, anyone can become a hero’ and with that lyric, sakakihara-san understood jyushi may have a very tragic past but there’s a very strong flame burning inside him and he’s able to illuminate others with that light
bat’s come a long way and sakakihara-san finds comfort that jyushi’s around people who can laugh and joke around with him and will continue to strengthen his heart with them
takeuchi-san says jyushi is blessed to have so many good people around him, including his band members, which triggers sakakihara-san to start thanking the both of them, esp after takeuchi-san mentions it was hitoya who introduced kuukou and jyushi to each other lmao
and speaking of hitoya!!!! takeuchi-san felt he’s been mature since the beginning and thinks it’s cool that he talks to kuukou and jyushi like they’re equals. but he likes to compete against them sometimes so he’s got a very childish side to him lol
lately, hitoya’s dark and sordid past, his childhood hobbies, have been targeted as a joke and takeuchi-san is absolutely amused by it lmao
hayama-san brings up ‘amaguni the magic king’ and ‘amaguni moon’ from arb and takeuchi feels hitoya’s being bullied a bit lol but it adds to his charm!!!!
when it comes to dubbing the anime versus the drama tracks, all three of them are cognisant of pacing
in the drama tracks, for example, when jyushi is in vkei mode, sakakihara-san is allowed to take his time to croon out his flowery words but in the anime he does have to fit everything he says in a set amount of time
now that he has pictures and movements to match, sakakihara-san was trying to make those words flow with what jyushi does, rather than what he imagines jyushi does by nature of the drama tracks, while maintaining the vibe of what jyushi’s saying. there was some trial and error involved trying to get it right
it’s the same for takeuchi-san and he appreciates getting to see hitoya’s hand movements as he does his two thing bit lol
they were then asked if there was any directorial direction that stood out to them and they didn’t really receive any!!! takeuchi-san commented there were more cases where staff consulted them about their characters
the interviewer said it’s probably because the characters are embedded into them by this point but hayama-san laughingly thinks they still have a long way to go before they can say that lol
he says this but follows up with, it does make him happy that when he’s reading something and questions if this is something kuukou would do; it means he has a good understanding of kuukou as a character
they start talking about episode three!!!! the episode exists as ‘the strawberry episode’ in hayama-san’s head LOL
hayama-san is happy to see kuukou interacting with the locals (and loves that the old ladies call him ‘kuu-chan’ lol) and takeuchi-san comments it’s neat that they all spoke with nagoya accents!!! bat doesn’t really speak with the nagoya accent and it’s also very rare for anime to have characters that do, so that makes him happy as someone who grew up in aichi prefecture
sakakihara-san liked how so many of bat’s charms and elements were condensed into one episode!!! with jyushi, tho he was being picked on by the antagonists, he liked how the episode highlighted the trials jyushi’s gone thru to make him strong enough to lend a helping hand to belial
hayama-san comments that ever since the battle between bat and mtr, he thinks bat’s appeal is that, just as we witnessed with jyushi and belial, they take your hand and pull you up when you’re at your lowest to give you the strength to stand up on your own
whether it’s the hand that’s offered or the hand that receives it, they are joined and will walk as equals and as friends. bad ass temple guides others by building relationships with them, hayama-san said
the interviewer was particularly charmed by hitoya telling jyushi ‘friends you make when you’re young stick with you whole your life’ and so was takeuchi-san. he feels hitoya mentioned this because of his relationship with jakurai, with all its turbulence they’ve still come back to together
the interviewer then brought up ichiro and kuukou’s past as naughty busters!! hayama-san said kuukou’s relationship with ichiro is something that’s been forged stronger than what he has with jyushi and hitoya so there’s a lot of trust kuukou places in ichiro. takeuchi-san said they have the kind of vibe where because they’re former teammates, they can understand each other without saying anything and hayama-san agrees
hayama-san feels mcd and nb have a similar connection and when the four of them got together, ichiro and kuukou kinda had their own little bubble. the interviewer thought ichiro and kuukou’s conversation, where kuukou asked why didn’t ichiro call him and ichiro’s asking if he really needed to (and ofc he didn’t) had that atmosphere and that conversation honestly made hayama-san swoon with how smooth and natural it was lol
when asked about their thoughts about sanity, the insert rap, hayama-san initially felt it was similar to rip but that opinion changed after listening to the demo. sanity, to him, felt similar to a division all stars song where he doesn’t sing in kuukou’s style in order to bring out the harmony of the song. sakakihara-san also takes in account to how much of jyushi’s vkei style he should put in songs like division all stars songs
takeuchi-san also found himself considering the harmony in sanity and didn’t go hard on the volume for his parts as he would with other songs
takeuchi-san feels like sanity has a very strong kuukou influence and after hayama-san listened to the whole thing, he felt excited thinking about how to maintain bat’s individualities when performing it live
next up was next stage!! all the artists who wrote for each individual team has done so in past songs and moroha’s afro, who gave us kaigen, returned for next stage. hayama-san was very happy to work with him again
the part in jyushi’s verse, where he goes ‘guided by the sky, protected by the heavens’ and onwards was a bit of a struggle for sakakihara-san to portray jyushi’s feelings like he wanted to. he kept asking for retries to get the vibe he wanted
hayama-san felt the same since kuukou’s thanks in the song isn’t something kuukou really does. kuukou’s not one to be shy or embarrassed so he did multiple takes in order to portray the warmth afro intended when writing those lyrics
takeuchi-san comments that with an artist like afro, it’s really hard to come in after listening to his demo and making his style of music work with their characters. hayama-san followed that with it’s because afro’s music is one that pierces the heart of the listener, himself included, so he’s immediately at the ready to do what he needs to in order to preserve that whilst playing kuukou, hence the multiple takes
and now rise from dead!!! it’s a song with a lot momentum, very fitting for rhyme anima!!!! that momentum is what made the song fun for takeuchi-san
sakakihara-san enjoyed getting to sing for his verses and hayama-san felt like nagoya’s part could be summed up as, kuukou bringing the breakneck speed, jyushi’s like a dance and hitoya wraps it up with a crash
the interviewer then commented it felt like the three of them got along with each other very well. but had their impressions of each other changed over the years??
hayama-san doesn’t think so but takeuchi-san Has Words About That (and hayama-san and sakakihara-san start laughing LOL)
they’ve gotten less shy around him and hayama-san teasingly tells him that’s because he’s spoiled them rotten by letting them get away with everything, with sakakihara-san chiming in, ‘papa!!💜’
naturally he wasn’t as comfortable with them when they first met, they were strangers, but as they hung out together more, he felt he could let go of walls and manners around them. this makes sakakihara-san giggle💜
hayama-san takes the time to apologise to takeuchi-san, he feels like he’s been taking it too far lately and takeuchi-san calls him a liar LOL
the interviewer asks them what they think their appeal is as performers and hayama-san and takeuchi-san both went, ‘destructive power probably????’
takeuchi-san thinks they’re like, A Lot, whenever they perform together lmao
hayama-san, from day one, has set out to destroy the atmosphere the og divisions set lmao in a breaking barriers way. takeuchi-san honestly feels like he will every time he takes stage and sakakihara-san feels the same way watching the both of them lol
takeuchi-san feels like there may be a sense of friendly rivalry between the three of them as they all try to find ways to shatter glass ceilings with every live and each of them trying to take that momentum higher
hayama-san agrees and says one way they can do that is to bring a gold sachihoko on stage like the way mtr brings palm trees out for papillon
takeuchi-san tells the interviewer hayama-san has been asking for this for a while lol
sakakihara-san also relays to the interviewer that he’s been trying to manifest this for them by speaking it into existence lmao
the interviewer laughs at them and asks about 8th live stories. sakakihara-san starts giggling and upon takeuchi-san asking why, he brings up the shinkansen pic story and hayama-san and takeuchi-san missing their cues. he is very determined to never let them live it down lmao
the interviewer finally asked for their final words!!!
takeuchi-san comments the rhyme anima story seems to be pushed along by those being controlled against their will. it’s been handled lightheartedly but will the story take a darker turn?? tune in!!!!
sakakihara-san commented tho the episodes as of now are solo division focused, there will be a time when viewers can watch and enjoy the chemical reactions that happen once the divisions start to mingle. please enjoy the story impacts all of the characters!!!
hayama-san says finally nagoya and osaka are in the anime. do look forward to seeing all 18 people come together, what conversations they’ll have, what kind of atmosphere it creates and how the characteristics of each person stands out. kuukou and ichiro have more conversations, so if you enjoy naughty busters, please look forward to it!!!

Bruce and charming holding auditions for an execution as if it they're doing a performance

"In a once in a lifetime move science and magic works together to take down religion!"
One of the contestants at the aforementioned audition is a rendition of lady gaga's bloody mary sung by the actual legend herself (no seriously she climbs out of a mirror to sing the chorus)
Sleeping Beauty dates the Sandman (no not that one, not THAT one either)
Gwynn's full name is Gwenhwyfar but she calls herself Gwynn due to a lot of women having the same name
Rhodanthe's only other friend is Ophelia of Hamlet fame; they met after Rho catches Ophelia floating around in her fishing pond

At the end where everything is over and charming and gwynn do their anguished love announcement and kiss and it's a cute scene but then they REALLY get into the kiss much to everyone's annoyance. Shrek forcefully breaks them apart.

On this interview, August 7th, Elvis talks about his car being damaged by his fans in Tampa, Florida (August 5th). Elvis had just bought a Lincoln Continental Mark II. His fans usually wrote their names, phone numbers and leave lipstick kisses marks all over his cars, but this time they actually took parts of his brand new Continental Mark II. They took his car's gas cap and cigarette lighters as souvenirs. Even so, Elvis don't blame it on them. He blamed it on the garage! EP was an understanding guy, so he felt that, even tho it affected him financially, it was only natural the kids wanting to take something from him to save it as a memento (they even tored his clothes off his body sometimes, so it wouldn't be out of the ordinary if they would do something like that with his car too.)

@koipondering Ivan is such a beautifully crafted character, and as Aloft was weird enough to require a second watch, I could notice a few stuff which charmed me. Like the way he talks so abruptly and puts 0 effort into being polite, the way that even tho he loves his family, he is just so consumed by the unresolved feelings towards his mother. The narration for the interview of how his brother got injured seemed so convincing on his part, that it made me think he actually has convinced himself up to a certain point that that's what happened.
The ice-is-gonna-break scene was thrilling too, because at first I though Ivan knows what he's doing, she is being ignorant, but then the atmosphere shifted and his vulnerability was shown. The scene where he finds out she is sick and gets so angry-and after that, their...I don't know mutual understanding, where they look each other over the window. And (no I'm not obsessed) the way he literally pushed his face against the cold window, as if to say sorry.
The crying scene was completely heartbreaking, made me feel uneasy, he was so angry, and, for once during the whole movie we see clearly how guilt has been eating him alive.
Also, the scene where they shoot his falcon while he was a kid was honestly quite shocking.
That poor mother's drama was way beyond one that hasn't lived something similar can understand, but my notice is that...I don't know, she didn't seem to behave to Ivan like a kid, but rather an opponent? An equal, a grown up, which he wasn't, tough though he might be. Eg she should have hugged him, while they said goodbye, she should have understood that is was a reaction when he screamed his brother was gonna die anyway.
Long story short, yes, Ivan and his fucked up coping mechanisms and unresolved feelings are wonderfully interesting, and he is a beautiful, lovable (even if not in the first analysis) character.
P,S. Sorry, for this loong answer, you answered my comment and I straight up jumped on the chance, but it's such an overlooked movie and character, I've been wanting to rant about him a lot.

anyway lets essay this shit because i'm just not capable of simple "i like it, great chapter" 😭
i love how chan actually tracks y/n down and shows up at the bakery. like its such a fairytale-like gesture 😭 also his confession or whatever that was, was so sweet like:
“And talking to you makes me unbelievably happy even though you were a pain in my ass 99.9% of the time.”
🫠🫠 my favourite line from this entire chapter
as for chapter 10, i really liked how its mostly just skz chaos. i love all their interactions in the groupchat and felix demanding his cupcake was amazing. how dare you chris, use poor lixie like that? 😂
i was laughing when reading the whole gc bit. idk it just feels so real? the way they talk, i think you write the dynamics really well! tbh i'm lowkey getting more invested in the chaos than chan & y/n relationship oops haha
i'm looking forward to the new dynamics of chan and y/n, because now that she knows he's an idol, there has be some change

I amazed myself with how fast I’m writing SRN, like, this should have been the series that I pulled a netflix with.
Oh yeah, no Chan went full Prince Charming trying to find Y/n. Also, the 99.9% of the time thing is how I feel like he feels with the rest of skz.
The funny thing about the skz gc is that the rest of skz were mostly going to be background characters bc it’s mostly Chan and y/n but clearly the skz in my head did not like that. And Lix asked for ONE thing and Chan had the audacity to forget it.
Writing for 8 people is hard but since there is so much skz content online I can just watch interviews and skz codes and variety shows and use that to based their characters on at least. I try to make it as accurate as possible
Oh yeah, thing aren’t going to be the same for a bit between Chan and Y/n now that she knows. Love conflict!

ok so this has taken me a while bc im trying to put together something comprehensive but not excessive. there this playlist that someone made that collects a ton of vessel (and a little rab) bts stuff so like tour diaries, interviews, etc. RAB the webseries is on there and RAB the webseries is rly fun if u like cute behind the scenes stuff. It's also the source of the sampled vocal on the hype, where u can hear tyler say "we're gonna rely pretty heavily on technology and energy to cover up for the fact that we're only two people." which i find cool
theres also a few tour recaps from BF era but my personal favorite is sleepers. they also did some for bandito tour.
Admittedly i dont watch a ton of interviews but the halloween one is very popular and gets referenced a lot. i also just rly like old interviews (second one is pre-josh and also has a live performance that i find rly charming)

twenty one pilots - Firefly Music Festival 2017 (Full Show) 1080p HD - this particular set is nothing special but its a festival set so its an hq multicam recording of a full set from blurryface era. it's got drumline josh, its got the crowdstand, its got the hamster ball, im pretty sure it has josh vs josh drum battle, all ur rly missing is the iconic (and dearly missed) old song medley, with the coolest B-stage design theyve ever had (yes cooler than bandito fight meeee)
Twenty One Pilots: Live at Lollapalooza Chicago 2019 (Full Show) - festival set for the hits but its trench now! bandito tour b-stage is also an essential tho. first leg they had the skybridge after that they walked thru the crowd.
My favorite shows that dont exist in one video are: vessel release show at basement. they played the whole record, secret show, very cool. and all of tour de columbus, which was when after BF they did a takeover tour style thing but just in columbus. I saw 2 of those and its my biggest flex to this day.
besides shows I wd also check out the MUTEMATH sessions (which i was blessed enough to see some of live! so badass!), this session where he did alt versions of some trench tunes (fought for my life to win tix. i did not win), also the video for the hype berlin is rly cute.
this got kinda lengthy with all the shows, i just love so many of them. I'd also seek out their snl performances if u feel like it, iirc they did ride, stressed out, and heathens, tyler did just the |-/ instead of the full paint on his hands it was sweet.
and to anyone else seeing this PLEASE add if theres anything u think i missed, any random events u remember that were cool, etc. most of what i remember is annoying twitter drama bc i was a teenager for BF

Nightmarish Infatuation pt. 2
A/N: This chapter is for exposition, explaining, etc. The chapters that follow will be a romantic psychological thriller. I wouldn’t call it love tho lol
Warnings: Mentions of filicide, a childish joke.
Part 1
Activity time from 2pm to 4:30pm was your favorite two hours and a half of the day at the asylum. You got to interact with all the mildly or barely sick patients and be with them during their finals weeks at Arkham. Well not all of them in the low security wing left. Very few were lifelong patients, people who other institutions refused to house. You hated how they discriminated against those who were a little more work than the average dementia or schizophrenic patient.
Take the old lady you had just 'danced' with a few minutes ago. The moment she met you, she mistook you for a prince- the most charming of them all. You laughed when she proclaimed it, you weren't the most feminine woman out there, but you also weren't the most masculine. This lady had her episodes, but for the most part was harmless, just sick.
Now, when it came to the mafiosos admitted here, then you could understand why no one wanted to take them. Surprisingly though, you got along with them pretty well. At first you were confused at their attentiveness towards your person from day one since there were a few more better looking nurses around. In all fairness, most of their personalities weren't of the kind variety and they could be very self centered. Not that you weren't attractive in a sense, but you weren't to die for per se. Just your average pretty.
Almost generic.
Yet, the inmates took a liking to you quickly before you had even spoken to them.
Now, it seemed like you all were good pals in the most professional sense possible. You were kind to them, but you always tried to never over step boundaries- and you hadn't. According to the Warden, everything you did was "permissible" despite other nurses reprimanding and reporting you.
One could say you were like the asylum's mom or big sister.
-"If you go to sleep with wet hair, you have a higher chance of getting sick, and that's a fact." You sincerely reprimanded the inmate for the brash behavior he was proudly teasing you about. -"You should stop showering right before bed."
He chuckled at you, amused that you even cared.
-"I believe you need to check your facts on the matter." A man's voice mocked from behind.
It was Dr Crane, but you still hadn't memorized his voice yet due to the lack of interaction.
-"Fact check these nuts, lol." You absentmindedly retorted without looking, thinking it was an inmate teasing you.
Snorts and restrained chuckles from the mafiosos were barely heard underneath Crane's seething response. They didn't want him to hear, or there would be consequences.
-"Excuse me??"
-"I said fact check these-'' You turned with a smug smile that soon retracted into your mouth, lips both being bitten internally. -''DR. CRANE." You exclaimed.
Is she finally scared? Scared of the consequences? The sadist happily asked himself until he saw her smile.
Giggling, you apologized. -"I thought you were a patient, I'm really sorry for using that language with you, Doctor."
Aghast, Jonathan smoothed out his suit, mostly disappointed her reaction had been so nonchalant. Warden Sharp must truly be so fond of the girl that she didn't have to worry about her behavior towards her supervisors.
-"Sorry." You said while getting up from your seat. -"What can I do for you?" Realizing he must have business with you.
Clearing his throat before speaking, he muttered. -"I wanted to congratulate you on being accepted into the psychiatric program at GU."
Smiling politely, you thanked him and expressed gratitude for his help, letting him know you couldn’t have done it without him.
-"Well, I am only mentoring you. The series of interviews they had with you is all to your credit.”
-”Interviews?” Your face drained.
-”Y-yes, there are normally three.”
-”I only had one…” You looked down at the ground, upset. Dr Crane could tell that you were the type of person that liked to get by through your own merits, instead of connections and handouts.
-”You must’ve blown them away.” He offered with a plastered smile.
-”Hmmmm, uhm… are you coming to the faculty dinner tonight?” You changed the subject, embarrassed and annoyed at this world’s bureaucracy.
At first the Doctor wanted to say no, instinctively he would’ve declined, but since tonight’s dinner was about her in celebration and introduction to the other psychiatrists. It would be interesting to observe her.
-”I am.” His faint smile continued.
A relief washed through your expression, an odd response to an almost stranger RSVPing an event where other strangers would attend. But something within him leapt seeing you react positively to knowing he would be there tonight.
-”Great! I’m excited, I’ve never been to a Japanese Steakhouse.” Your eyes sparkled.
-”Oh.” Jonathan said, confused why she was telling him that. -”Most people like it.” He responded flatly.
-”I like most food, especially when it’s free.” You chuckled.
Blinking twice, Jonathan began to understand why you had such a hold on many of the patients and workers here.
-”Anyways, thank you for congratulating me, I have to get back to work.” Both of your thumbs pointed at the patients behind you. -” But, uhm, I’ll see you this evening!” You interrupted his thoughts with a friendly smile, the type one gives when wanting to make a good impression.
-”Sure, see you Miss L/N.”

-”Doctor Crane!” You happily called out as the restaurant staff shuffled the Asylum doctors into the big room made for parties or other get togethers, two long tables waiting for about 10 people so sit at them.
-"Miss L/N." His voice offered in response with serenity.
-"H-how are you doing?"
You seemed a bit frazzled, perhaps from all the stimulation from a new environment and new people you wanted to impress to gain a spot in the Asylum's unseen social hierarchy.
-"I'm doing well, how about yourself? Hungry?"
-"Absolutely! Do you mind if we sit together?" You asked while moving in sync with the company that were being ushered towards picking a seat, obviously trying to avoid someone.
Jonathan nodded, and pulled a chair out for you before sitting down himself . You two sat towards the middle end of the long table, the Warden choosing to sit directly in front of you with Dr Young to his side. Seconds later, Dr Quinzel sat to your right and in front of her Dr Hugo Strange. You felt intimidated in an instant. The smartest and most prolific of all staff sat by your side, perhaps because you had chosen to be with Dr Crane, one of their caliber.
-”How has the start of the semester treated you, Ms L/N?” Doctor Young asked with a friendly smile after everyone had received their food.
-”Well!” You began, grinning. -”Though it’s throwing me for a loop because it’s nothing like when I went for my bachelor’s.”
-”What was your undergrad in?”
-”Zoology with a minor in conservation ecology.”
-”Oh.” Penelope Young began. -”What brought you into the field of psychology?”
-”A personal incident in my life … uhm, made me realize that as much as I love nature, I needed to use my talents to help people.”
-”Your ta-”
-”Do you think people are ruining nature and they all need to be gone?” Dr Quinzel interrupted loudly.
You grimaced at the question and shook your head. -”No. Well, I do think people, empresarios to be exact, are ruining nature. But getting rid of apex predators completely is an incredibly stupid solution that is proven to not work. Have you heard of the wolves of yellowstone study?”
-”Yes, they reintroduced wolves and the park practically reincarnated into its former state. The wolves control the deer population, so plants can grow as normal, thus affecting all insects, water supply, small mammals, etc.” Jonathan answered while dipping one of his rushi roll pieces into soy sauce.
For a split second you thought he looked incredibly attractive.
How he answered something you were passionate about so nonchalantly made you heart feel a certain way, but only for a few seconds, Dr Quinzel’s roaring laughter derailed your train of thoughts.
-”I think you should see Poison Ivy, you would-
-”Pamela Isley.” Warden Sharp interrupted harshly. -”We do not use their aliases, Dr. Quinzel.”
Scoffing she ignored him. -”I think you could at least make her feel like you understand her. Maybe that would help her recover.”
-”Speaking of which, when are you going to let her start seeing patients with you? Or alone? She does seem pretty capable and trained.” Dr Hugo Strange added to the conversation for the first time.
-”Soon, I just need to train and check her psyche.” Was all Jonathan offered as he continued to eat, not making eye contact.
-”You have the most charming Doctor as your mentor, Y/N.” Harleen Quinzel mocked.
-”He’s very kind and devoted to his craft. I’m honored to have him help me out.” You concurred, making it seem like you were oblivious to the jab.
In response everyone near earshot laughed, except Jonathan Crane. Instead he was confused looking at you, who flashed an exceptionally energetic smile at him. Eyebrows furled, he pushed his up glasses.
You kept the smile.
He finally smiled back.
You nodded in satisfaction and began eating again, this time letting your thoughts run free while the others engaged in conversation , deciding not be a part of. They were talking shop after all, their research and other things that didn’t need your involved input.
As you thought to yourself, you remembered your past. Small slivers of it. Just the painful parts, like your mother and brother’s funeral, the press and its awful headlines calling your mother a crazed killer.
The empty shell of a father you had to look after you after the whole incident.
Your guilt.
If only you had hugged your family goodbye that morning you would have known. If you hadn’t been so selfish and more patient with their mental illnesses.
You could have known. Your talent, a sort of touch telepathy mixed with clairvoyance, would’ve known.
Once you touched someone, and you opened your heart and mind- you became vulnerable, you could tell exactly what they were thinking. Not only that, you could gauge how they would feel if a certain event occurred in the near future. You could formulate their behavioral patterns in your head, understand why or what they would do something and from there have a good guess as to what they’d do in hypothetical events.
That is why you were so good with patients. You knew exactly what they needed after a few moments of simply touching them.
-”Miss L/N?” Crane called out while placing a hand on your shoulder momentarily to bring you back to reality. -”What are you thinking so intently about?”
Your head snapped towards him and your eyes met his in confusion.
-”Just reminiscing, I’m sorry, was anyone talking to me?”
-”No, but I noticed you had become quiet and imobile for a while, so I thought I’d check in.” He voiced truthfully.
A light blush danced on your cheeks as the Doctor’s icy blue eyes stared into yours, searching into your soul. You then saw those same eyes begin to close a little as his face offered a smile in your direction right before he turned to continue eating.
Interest.
When Dr Crane touched your shoulder that’s what you felt. Genuine mental attraction towards your person.
You were flattered. How did this aloof genius even have time to think about a random nurse like yourself.
On the other hand Dr Crane was actually feeling annoyed during the whole dinner. No matter what he said, your reactions were similar, smiles.
You acted practically the same around prestigious doctors, except you spoke a little more formal and tried your best to be polite.
What? Did you hold all people to around the same value?
That’s stupid.
You obviously favored those who made you feel comfortable, not a shocker.
What was the real shock is that the rest of the evening you seemed to gravitate towards his sour presence. He knew perfectly that he wasn’t being the most pleasant person, but you kept coming to his side and talking to him, smiling.
And he couldn’t help but smile back.
Perhaps you liked difficult people. Maybe that’s why you worked at the asylum. Others were boring?
That didn’t seem to be true though, or you’d gravitate the most towards Dr Quinzel and Strange. They made you uncomfortable, but why didn’t the Master of Fear do the same?
-”Goodnight Dr Crane.” You wished the tall man with a sweet smile.
-”Goodnight.” He began absentmindedly. -”Are you walking home?” His tone of voice on the befuddled side.
-”I live a couple blocks away, would be a waste to call a taxi.”
-”In Gotham?” His right eyebrow raised.
-”We’re not in the Narrows.” You chuckled. -”Plus, I’ll be fine. I’ve done it multiple times.”
-”Brave.” He muttered.
-”No, no.” You chuckled again. -”Stubborn. Plus, it’s just people, people aren’t scary.”
This time Jonathan choked on his saliva momentarily and then cleared his throat, incredibly intrigued.
-”Sorry, that was insensitive to our patients and their victims at Arkham.” You offered sheepishly.
-”Everyone has different fears…” Crane adjusted his glasses. -”Mind if I walk you home?” He asked with the intent of seeing your so called bravery in the dark of the night.
You blushed.
-”Sure.”
-”Perfect. Let me help you with your coat.”
A perfect gentlemen and an innocent girl simply flirting at the end of a nice dinner.
That’s what the other doctors saw.
Good for Jonathan, he finally is interested in something other than his work, some thought. All he needed was a nice girl to open up, others muttered.
What they didn’t see was a predator corralling his prey.

Sky
Has an Instagram. Its mostly dead aside from the most occasional of dog pics. Sky is a little scared of ending up with bad press after how often his parents beat having a good image into his head. He's also one of those people who post text to Instagram, bc it's his only social media
Sky has media training, but due to hiding his identity for most of his life never actually put this into practice. He has an edge, and had a naturally calmish slightly charismatic personality so he gets along fine with being on Tv, it just takes some getting use to. He ends up on tv and in magazines anytime he steps outside because Prince of Eraylon who's dating the Dragon Flame Princess of Domino, is the fucking headline of century and everyone knows it. He accepts this as a part of life and tries not to do anything stupid when the cameras can see him
Brandon
Stella's Instagram is a couples Instagram. Who do you think posts all those pictures of Stella to her Instagram? Yes her but she's too busy posing you see. He also posts an obscene amount of pictures of himself along side Stella. For the bisexual audience. He has a private Twitter just to see all the bullshit that goes down, without getting involved
Brandon, as Sky's stand in for multiple years, has both media training and a lot of experience with the media. He's used to Eraylon standards so he often comes off as overly formal, but very respectful kind and charming, and he's essentially the old media's darling. So many think pieces about how chivalry isn't dead because Brandon, completely unaware that he still flirts around for fun (with Stella's permission of course). The media paint Stella and Brandon as a yin yang couple, when a quick look at their dual Instagram would disprove this very quickly. Brandon has no clue how he ended up in this scenario
Timmy
Oh sure he has social media. Their all privated and completely fucking empty because holy shit FUCK that. He doesn't need reporters talking about his most recent likes on Twitter ok? He has some alt accounts but social media is very stressful and he rather not
Bold of anyone to assume he'd end up on Tv lest he was fucking dragged. He does NOT want to deal with the whole magical dimension making fun of his stutter ok? He already has like 3 older brothers, and 2 younger ones that do that for him. He is good on the teasing. Though he'll do email interviews, these tend to get long and rambly tho
Riven
Once he realized that fame was slowly coming their way he deleted all his old social media. No body needs to see what 13 year old Riven was tweeting. Aside from that he has a Twitter where he mostly just talks about Musa or posts pictures of Musa. Riven is a private person, but also likes attention. The dichotomy of man. He wants to be acknowledged in his field by his peers, not be a public personality. He's every Musa stan's dream bc he posts pictures of her and just spouts off random facts about her constantly. They also tweet at eachother constantly! Not to mention his therapist has done an amazing job at convincing him not to argue with idiots on Twitter, he still subtweets them but still. He rarely posts about himself, when he does it's mostly complaining that he accidentally fucked something up or about how cute he thinks fairy animals/pixies/fairy pets/selkies ect are for like multiple posts straight
Riven is not intentionally on TV. Ever. The idea of that many people watching his every move, after s1, makes his skin crawl. He appreciates the reporting on his achievements in his field and with the Winx, and passively seeths about the reporting on his past fuck ups, but you won't catch him doing an interview unless it's with Musa
Helia
Helia has never quite given a shit about social media. Unfortunately Twitter is made for fighting people and Helia is 80% unhinged violence by volume. Constantly in Twitter arguments, so many fucking sub tweets, and throwing enough shade to sap Stella's enegry. He also posts his art/poetry in-between absolutely fucking destroying the poor idiot who called Flora the most useless of the Winx Club
He's fine on Tv. Helia has an ever present confidence in literally everything he does (really Helia is never caught slipping in the earlier seasons), and he's already well spoken. He handles being on tv with the grace of someone who met many different royal families as a child. He'd probably be interviewed more if he wasn't so short/blunt in person, which makes him kinda a shit conversationalist. He's better at interviewing someone, writing an essay at someone, instead of answering any question in detail lol. Sometimes an interviewer will catch him on something he's passionate about and he'll talk for an hour straight
Nabu
He has a Twitter, he's also a nightmare. He's not like....mean or starting shit for no reason, he just tweets like a man in his 40s. You get inspirational quotes, accidentally qoute tweeting, shit blurry photos of Aisha. No one quite knows if he's fucking with them or is really that bad with technology.....Nabu is still trying to figure out how to change his header. Nabu is the unproblematic fav of the guys in the Winx world, his Twitter is beloved for him being infectiously positive while completely not understanding what the fuck is going on
Nabu is much better in person than he is online. He kinda falls into the same role as Brandon. Media training form a very conservative planet making him come off as ultra respectful and polite, but unlike Brandon, Nabu is unlikely to end up in a scandal lmao. He handles just about all in person appreances for or with Aisha because he knows she hates him, and is the master of talking a lot and saying fucking nothing. (Brandon can also do this because he was required to make small talk for so many years, but it comes to Nabu naturally). He also deals with hostile media presences the best bc he doesn't really react to them and he also can absolutely gut someone while staying calm and looking reasonable..... Someone tried to shame Aisha for not wanting to give up her freedom and her verbally annihilated them for her <3, bc he knows that she stuggles with public speaking

Vic just doesn't give a fuck and is a total badass most of the time, even tho she mentioned that she's struggling with anxiety and damn i know it has to be hard sometimes yet she does it anyways
Ethan and his mystic aura, y'all know what I'm talking about, kinda cute, kinda daddy, just educated and etheral creature out of this world
Thomas fucking hell, his constant fun spirit, dude will dance anywhere, goof around and just have a time of his life wherever he goes, i love that
Damiano ooff his charisma, he can charm the entire room with one look, the way he speaks, moves and sings is just flawless every time
2. Specific moment that got me hooked...i think the first time i saw any of them was Damiano on some meme the night of the ESC (that i wasn't watching) I've decided to look up who tf is that gorgeous creature, i watched their ESC performance and i was GONE, i spent the entire night watching interviews, listening to their songs just my obsession has begun
3. Ok I'd definitely like to spend a day with Ethan, i think he'd prepare a whole plan, including some sightseeing and a nice dinner, maybe some drinks in the evening, our conversations would be so damn interesting i can only imagine, not to mention that i could look at him and maybe get a car ride on his passenger seat 👉👈 (yes my smut fantasy that i wrote is still here in my brain)
