Some researchers were inclined to believe that the so-called “black shamanism” (which included abaaky oyuun, siemeh oyuun) originated from female shamanism. The Udagankas really did not belong to the light shamans (aiyy oyuuna) or algyschyts. As a rule, they did not marry and did not have children, but there are cases when a woman fell ill with a shamanic disease while being the mother of a family. The stereotypical opinion that shamans should be ugly and unsociable is not entirely true. There are many legends that talk about the beauty and special feminine energy of udagankas.

Perceive and Integrate
Every day while I was in federal prison, I focused upon self-revelation and personal experience of spiritual truth. 45° of Illumination is a record of this process over 45 consecutive days in 2015, at the end of my first year of incarceration. This process continued for the next six years, until I was self-actualized by the time I left federal prison in 2021.
