Say hello to my little con artist- I mean completely legit and not at all bullshitting their way through this Lamb!
The basic premise is that instead of an innocent, sweet symbol of purity as one might expect out of a sacrificial lamb, The Lamb is… just sort of a guy?? That landed in this spot “on accident.” They don’t know what’s going on and they’re very stressed. They get the hang of it though… eventually :’)

Izuku could be a CEO but Why is no one ask for President of HPSC Izuku? A little spike can go a long way and Izuku unlease 10 years worth of it to climb to the top of the food chain. Kacchan said Izuku can't become a hero, well neither can he why should Izuku allow a hero with Bakugo's attitude running around in his belove Hero society?
- Izuku gave up on being a hero after his dreams are crushed by both Kacchan and All Might.
- but Izuku still wants to help people, though he has no strive to be a doctor or police officer like All Might sujested. He still wants to do something in the heroics industry.
- maybe he could help people by having some type of control over heroics in general?
- so HPSC it is.
- he starts taking defense and other martial arts classes.
- Izuku uses his deadbeat father's money to get in the best business program, he takes law and political college classes while still in high school and gets into an entry position in the HPSC as soon as he graduates.
- he takes the place by storm, he can destroy anyone politically or mentally with the bare amount of information.
- and boy is he good at getting information.
- the entirety of the HPSC is terrified of him by his third year working there.
- by the age of twenty-five he is the HPSC's youngest president ever. And boy does he change some things.
- no more heroes covering things up.
- any hero that exceeds the minimum amount of property damage in one incident, gets a mark on their record.
- any hero who needlessly kills a villain, gets a mark on their record.
- and hero who injures or kills a victim, hostage or bystander, gets a mark on their record.
- any hero that allows a villain to kill a victim, hostage or bystander when they could've done something, gets a mark on their record.
- the list goes on.
- after three marks in one year the hero's licence is suspended.
- after five marks their license is terminated.
- the first hero he calls into of inform, of this change and it's consequences, is his old school tormentor Katsuki Bakugou aka Dynamight.
- Bakugou has no idea why he's being called to the Hero Commission, but thinks it's because he finally stolen the number one spot from Endeavor.
- but is shocked to see Deku in the presidents chair.
- after reassuring Bakugou that he is in fact is the president he goes on with the meeting.
Izuku: Dynamight I called you here today to inform you that you are the f-
Bakugou: the number one hero, I know nerd!?
Izuku: you didn't let me finish Bakugou... What I was going to say is that you are the first to be informed of the new heroic regulations code.
Bakugou: what???
Izuku: you once said that I could never be a hero, and now if you don't follow my rules, neither can you! Also your license is suspended.
- Endeavor's license gets terminated on the spot.
- Izuku forces hero schools to change their entrance exams to be less focused on power quirks.
- Izuku is living his best life

Furina, who while devoted to the creator, knows that they are not all powerful nor all knowing- after all, they still referred to her as Focalors, they still treat her as an archon and one of their acolytes.
Furina, who regularly questioned her faith and her loyalties- after all, she was attempting to fool the Heavenly Principles, the loyal attack dog of the creator, but at the same time, why didn’t the creator try and stop the prophecy? If the creator had the power, and truly loved all their humans and archons, why let Fontaine drown?
Furina, who when an impostor appeared, received the same order as every other archon- hunt down the imposter, the heretic who defied their revered creator, and destroy them and their treasonous behaviour.
Furina, who during the search, wondered if she would be hunted down with the same vigor if others would learn of her duplicity.
Furina, who found you in a grotto only able to be accessed underwater, who saw the way the creatures of the sea attempting to help you patch up the wound in your side, spilling golden blood, and realized her faith was misplaced with far more ease than any other archon could have mustered.
Furina, who helped her creator heal in that grotto, apologies soft and regretful on her lips. She should have realized sooner; After all, she knows how easy it is to impersonate a god.

Saw your Mishanks bodyswap art! Very cute and fun! (Mihawk with a genuine smile on his face so so fun)
I imagine Shanks whould have trouble fighting in Mihawk's body at first since it's been years since he's had two arms
yes absolutely, i imagine that too! conversely, i think mihawk would have a little bit of trouble adjusting his balance and reach with a body missing one arm, as well. it's interesting to think about how they both would be forced to change their fighting style, and whether or not they would exchange swords.
mihawk's been seen using yoru with just one hand so he could probably pull it off with shanks's body. also interesting to think about shanks tripping up on having two arms until he naturally slips into his old fighting style again--or would he? because there's also the question of muscle memory, right? would mihawk's body automatically do things that shanks isn't predisposed to doing, and vice versa?
the other thing i find intriguing about body swapping in one piece is the question of whether or not your haki powers would switch as well. they say haki is spiritual presence, so presumably your haki switches if your spirits switch, but if it's the kind of spirit that's tethered to the presence of the body? then consider mihawk having the strongest conqueror's haki out on the blues, or shanks being able to use observation haki at mihawk's level, practically being able to predict the future--or mihawk, able to counter with shanks's haki-kill technique. food for thought!
#rei replies#one piece#mishanks body swap au#mishanks#akataka#dracule mihawk#shanks#akagami no shanks#red haired shanks#re: the genuine smiling#i also like to think shanks in mihawk's body would have this moment where he realizes his cheeks ache from all the smiling he's doing lol#bc mihawk's facial muscles arent used to doing it#and when they switch back shanks teases mihawk about it ('you exercise so many of your muscles hawky but your cheeks? they're weak!')#and he manages to get a smile out of mihawk that's mihawk's version of a genuine smile and it's softer and less wide but it's honest#and oh shanks is soooooo in love with him hahaha#BY THE WAY ALSO I JUST THOUGHT OF THIS OMG but in this body-swapped au mihawk-as-shanks would 100% shave for shanks#like hell is he gonna let shanks grow *stubble* on *his* face. dracule mihawk with STUBBLE? banish the thought!!!!!!#but shanks doesnt do it up to his standards so there's totally a scene where mihawk and shanks are body swapped in the bathroom#and mihawk is standing too close and shaving his lil pointy sideburns and mustache onto shanks's face#and shanks is having a crisis because that's his own face breathing too close and waaaay to intimately but that look of concentration#is ALL mihawk. shanks can practically his eyes--so familiar from the mirror and wrinkled with laugh lines--glow yellow with how#much mihawk looks like himself right now even in shanks's body.#it's all very strange. shanks has been attracted to mihawk for a long time but it's just blatantly unfair that the first time in YEARS#theyre this close again and it's shanks's own body that he has to look at. on the upside he supposes all he needs to do to ogle#mihawk is to look down. pros and cons pros and cons.#(mihawk isnt having a crisis. mihawk is annoyed that hia beard is easier to do in first person it is to do in the third person.#surely not having to do it reflected in a mirror should be easier and yet for some reason everything feels off! ugh.)#i digress

OK I STILL DID NOT WATCH TFA BUT-
what if the cons were the ‘good guys’ when they found out about Blitz’s relationship with Bee?
Like, i always see the autobots accept and take in Blitz (bonus point if he becomes autobot later)- and the decepticons are always ‘how dare you betray us for stupid feeling’. it’s a bit overused isn’t it?
My idea is- let’s make the con team the accepting one.
Megatron notices Blitzwing’s kinda off, so he decides to check it out, he finds Bee and decides to interrogate cuz those two always fight each other whenever bots and cons meet. Then Blitz comes back and Meg’s like “are you dating this autobot?” meanwhile Bee is tied up sitting on some countertop awkwardly. It takes a bit of unsuccessful trying-to-get-out-of-it talk but Blitz admits-
He expects yelling, fights, attempted killing n stuff but Meg’s just like “why haven’t you told me? this could’ve been so much trouble saved” and they’re both just gawking while Meg’s standing there annoyed.
Fighting together is better than fighting alone; Strenght is in numbers n all that-  and having someone at your side to help you is nothing to be shamed for- it’s a blessing in fact. That and ever since Blitzwing started seeing Bee, he was more stable, more focused and efficient with his tasks.
So Meg is fine with them.
When Lugnut finds out he does not know how to feel, cuz on one hand; this is an autobot, the enemy- on the other; their Leader is fine with it.
Blitz and Bee usually see each other in their little meeting spot, but on times when Bee can’t make it, or he’s stuck with a teammate on patrol- "kidnappings" also occur. cough cough meg is totally not the one doing it, yep mhmm
So they hang out in Blitz’s quarters too.
Outside of worrying about Bee being kidnapped so much, Bee’s team is just kinda ignoring him tbh, at least they got some peace.
then one day Shockwave comes to visit and he just sees Meg chatting with his ‘friend’ over some oil. Meg goes to do something and Bee trying to get a small chat going-
“you know, you kinda sound like my friend Longarm”
“is that so?“ he seems calm but he’s freaking the fuck out on the inside.

Ruby drags her sister to the con in order to keep things on track. Yang decides to mess with Ruby and grabs a core crystal, thus awakening her.
Tumblr media
How much chaos does this cause?
Ruby: ...I turn around for five minutes and THIS HAPPENS AGAIN?!
Yang: Easy, little sister! I was just browsing and boom! Suddenly, I've got somebody as my partner.
Zenobia: This is your little sister, huh? Can she fight?
Yang: Yeah, but she'll always need her big sister to help her out.
Ruby: Ugh... Whatever...
Zenobia: ...So how soon until we can fight some Grimm?
Yang: Eh... Soon enough. They're kinda everywhere.

The Decepticon rumor mill is a propaganda machine of its own kind. Tarn of the Mill: insatiable fuck monster😈, Tarn in reality with his nurse: saddest wet cat for cuddles 🥺
It's hilarious because it's true! Tarn gets results as a head of the DJD, and that division is a league of skilled cruelty of their own.
Mechs extend Tarn's eloquence to his berth, and if they witnessed the reality of Tarn as a wet noodle, then they would get secondhand embarrassment over his lack... of everything but his spike.
The Camien, in some ways, is very lucky that it's the constantly traveling Peaceful Tyranny that picked them up. Otherwise, they’ll see another part of gladiatorial influence: Challenges.

Jon and Martin, sittin’ in a tree...
Tumblr media
[Image ID: A digital drawing of Jonathan Sims and Martin Blackwood from the Magnus Archives in an alternate universe where Jon is a fairy prince. Martin is casually sitting down under a tree while Jon looms over him, curiously reading the book in Martin's lap. Martin stares fondly at Jon. They are both in shadow. The drawing is done in blues, greens, pinks, and yellows./.END ID]
...reading stories leisurely~
Fairy AU go brrrrrrrr. This isn’t even a scene in my current rough of the story so idk if it’s going to be “canon” at all, still cute though so I did it <3. Gradient Maps go brrrr too. Extra versions under the cut w/ REALLY minute differences because I’m indecisive <3

They didn’t mean to be the last living lamb.
Sure, the Lamb knew they had stuck it out for a while. As they counted the days they managed to evade the Bishops’ crusading executioners, they eventually realized the possibility that few of their fellow sheep would have been able to avoid the blade for as long as they had. They were a gentler folk, with simple lifestyles and simpler desires, content to work the fields and raise their kin among the rolling green hills that used to be their home.
While it may have been convenient for them back then, their near universal naivety making it easy to score a few coin or a free meal off their fellow brethren, the Lamb now mourned their race’s collective innocence with crushing guilt.
It wasn’t so long ago their village’s chief tried to impress the virtues of innocence and simple living onto the Lamb. They had begged to join the merchants on a trip outside the village, to catch a glimpse of the world outside their safe but isolated home. They longed for adventure, for excitement, for thrill, and yet, every time they pleaded for the opportunity, they were denied.
They would never get the chance to step outside the village. Not until it was ransacked by Old Faith zealots. The execution party ambushed the village in the dead of night, razing their heard, their family, their only home, as easily as a scythe might slice through a field of wheat. The Lamb did not watch. They could only faintly register the quickly thinning screams of their friends and family as they raced toward the nearby woods, their heart pounding and lungs burning with the effort.
It should have been someone else. Some other sheep. Perhaps someone important, like the chief or the doctor. Someone brave, with the wisdom of their forefathers to guide them. Someone who represented the compassion and grace to which their race was so closely aligned.
Someone who definitely wouldn’t be contemplating pickpocketing this rat that just burrowed out from the ground in front of them.

The Long Con au or HPSC President Izuku, how do you imaging he look like and what kind of skills he have? Will he know about the AFO and OFA bussiness? How difference he is in term of personally?
long con Izuku is far more reserved than canon Izuku. he is less likely to open up keeping all his cards close to his chest. he learned early on that the only one he could trust is himself and so he puts on a softer front to hide his cunning analytical mind. spending most of his observing and taking people, situations and objects apart mentally to see how they work. he plans everything ahead of time, multiple situations and outcomes.
and of course he knows about AFO and OFA, he is President of the HPSC.

Was thinking about how in Electric Rebels (great fic from @ylvisruinedmylife go read it if you haven't) the tributes all fake their death and then I was thinking about all the 'tributes escaping the zoo' AU's and my dumb little brain mashed them together.
What if, after escaping the zoo through whatever means you decide to go with, the tributes realize that they can't just walk out of the city? And while going through the sewers or the tunnels is certainly an option, they have to get down there in the first place and they are 24 starved children with worn down, ragged clothing completely covered in dirt and grime. And they can't just rock up at someone's house to use their shower and steal their clothing. They're in the middle of the city and they have a few hours before their absence is discovered. Then there will be an all-out manhunt and, again, they're a big group of children who all stand out like sore thumbs in this city full of rich snobs. Also, someone brings up the splendid point that they'll never be able to truly live even if they make it back home. Either they leave all their loved ones and live in the wilderness, or they go home and risk death every day if they're caught. So, they come up with the perfect solution: Fake their deaths! No one will look for dead kids, after all. Except they're not on camera, they'll be doing it irl, so they have to be very careful about how they handle this.
Wovey and Bobbin mention a warehouse in the city where peacekeeper uniforms are kept, and a plan is concocted. Some of the bigger guys pose as peacekeepers, because due to their frame they're more likely to pass. As soon as they wash off the dirt and grime and slightly restyle their hair, no one will recognize them. Then they get to the fun part: crafting everyone's death scene. There's fake bullets and blood, there's some more grizzly physical fights, there's a nasty fall down the river, and there's a poisoning. They pick a spot where they'll hide out once they're "dead" and the tributes pretending to be peacekeepers have dragged them off and then the show begins. Marcus, Facet, Reaper, and Jessup easily infiltrate the peacekeeper ranks while Circ and Teslee fuck with the cameras around the city. Every "death" is caught on camera, and every time the four have a partner to patrol with the moment where they knock them out is mysteriously missing...
All of the video footage is used by the Capitol as proof of how strong they are, and while the president gives a speech about how any attempt to fight against their might is futile, the tributes laugh from the comfort of their homes, reunited with their families and loved ones as they hide away until they age out of the reaping system and are forgotten by anyone who cares.
PS: That poisoning is Treech. He will never not be an actor to me, so he gets a more public and emotional death scene that has several witnesses. I might write that scene because I have it clearly in my head. It's got hints of a full fix it too, because what happens could inspire the Capitol to reevalute their morals and cause them to stop the games altogether because a citizen actually tries to help Treech and a "peacekeeper" (lets go with Reaper) rips them off of him to keep up the ruse and also show the citizen how district people are treated on the daily.
