I’m learning there is no one way for life to be lived, no one way to be strong or brave or kind or good. Rather there are many people doing the best they can with the heart they are given and the hand they are dealt. Our best is all we can do, and all we can hold on to is each other.

Fluffy Queer Books With Strong Female Leads You Need To Read
These books are some of my personal favorites and they have little to no s*x scenes/mentions of it (for my fellow aces) and some have little to no romance (aros) so I will put a caption underneath for those for ya (; { x = non-pg-13 parts}
The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats & Piracy by Mackenzie Lee (Main character is aroace w/ wlw relationship, contains some references to x but mostly fluff. Sequel to A Gentleman’s Guide of Vice & Virtue which is a cute gay love story but has lots of x.)
PJO/HOO/MC/KC/TOA by Rick Riorden (You know them, you love them. They are super clean, queer representation across the spectrum, funny, cute, entrancing. And there’s the PJO tv show coming out on Disney+ in 2023 and a new Solangelo book coming out soon, too!)
Sisters of Sword & Song by Rebecca Ross (I am currently reading this book and it is AMAZING! I don’t think there are any canonically queer characters, but you can headcanon Halcyon as ace/aro (I think? I didn’t finish the book yet). It’s more about sisterly love than actual romance and there is plenty of magic, mythology, and action to keep you enthralled. I think it’s clean, but a character does worry about being taken advantage of in a prison at one point. (Don’t worry nothing happens)
My Last Summer with Cass by Mark Crilley (Despite this graphic novel being written by/drawn by a man, there are no male characters aside from a couple dads. It is about friendship and young artists living in NYC, no romance, no x. But there are definitely some queer-coded characters, I mean, they’re artists haha. But the fact they’re queer is never mentioned so I guess it’s up to you!)

just realized that in lady’s guide, her two companions are kind of represented the two words in the title: petticoats (Johanna) and piracy (sim). This may have unintended consequences on the meaning of the first book’s name.
