Good god I feel the need to yell at you!!!!

I just spent the las 3 days binging your Haikyuu!! works, I can't even begin to explain to you what you did to me. Okay so I first read "It Wasn't Meaningless", a long time ago, but since I binged HQ two months ago I have ventured in the various (so many) ships, and it has been so much fun! So one day, when I felt like I was neglecting my SNS brainrot, I went to my bookmarks and saw "It Wasn't Meaningless", so ofc I read it again, it's like religion at this point (seriously that fic is a masterpiece👏(I have also read some of your GaaLee and they are also amazing!)), and imagine my delight when I found that you also write HQ, I was so happy and excited! Now, up until that point, I had only ventured with KageHina, IwaiOi and KuroKen, it's not like I didn't liked the other ships it's just that there's so many I wanted to take it slow, so I decided to ventured with your TsukkiYama and your UkaTake and THAT'S WHERE IT ALL CHANGED! You made me ship them so hard, I kid you not, I've been reading them nonstop! (If you have recs of both ships I'd love to read them💘)

I can't explain how much I loved your TsukkiYama detective fic, it was hilarious and so dynamic, you had my full attention, evey turn, it was an amazing read, I have read it like 3 times already. Your UkaTake fics are such a vibe! I really really love how you write them, you have a great grasp on their characterization, it's just so good!!

But the one who takes the crown for me it's No Angels Could Beckon Me Back. THAT, THAT FIC, UGHHHH you had me pulling my hair, the characterization, the angst, the feelings, you had me screaming at my phone in a literal sense, I can't believe how good it was, I was pulling my hair, with a lump around my throat, and the biggest relief at that ending, it was just perfect 😭 (I left you a little comment in that one, I hope you read it but don't feel pressured, that's why I'm here 😂) So I guess I just wanted to let you know that I loved every work in your HQ repertoire, I will definitely stick around for more bc I can't get enough! If you decide to bless this world with your talent I'll be there front row, thanking you for making me so happy with your stories 🧡🧡🧡

Sorry for taking a hundred years to answer; things have been way too busy lately. But this message, and the lovely comment you left on NACBMB, have made my entire week!

I'm so happy you've been enjoying my fics! And that I got you reading tsukkiyama and and ukatake! I love those ships immensely and definitely have more planned for the future. Please feel free to yell at me about those, I could use some motivation from time to time lol.

But I'm just soooo glad that NACBMB is still being appreciated. That fic started as just an inkling of an idea based on a friend's sketch and then consumed my life for several months. I literally thought about it every waking moment while I was writing it. I still think it's one of my best works to date. So just thank you so much for reading it!

I hope you're doing great as well, and I'm hoping to have another chapter of my ongoing work up soon (soon, I swear!).

Haikyuu fanfic recs but they’re funny (to me LOL)

I made an angst pt 2 fic list (which is linked here), but while I was making it I thought screw this sad stuff. Time to make a meme post. So here are some fics that made me bust a lung (or something along the lines of that). Yeah some most of these are cp, but go read them again idc, they’re funny and that’s that. My sense of humor is a tad bit broken, so keep that in mind as you read these (cause if you don’t think they’re funny, you’re probably right but stupid things make me laugh hehe). Don’t judge me too hard LOL. Also some of these are more fluff or whatever just take it ahahahaha.

As per usual, pls check WARNINGS, TAGS, and SUMMARIES for each fic before reading (just to be safe cause they curse a lot LOL) and make sure you’re taking care of yourselves (since mental health is key!) Stay healthy loves <3

It’s very fluff and pine, so if you want to read Daichi having gay panic like 24/7, go right ahead LOL.

Camellias by kiyala (T) 1.9k /KyouHaba/ I really love magic and their interactions are so cute and the PLANTS ARE DOING THE MOST. Pls read both in the series, cause domestic KyouHaba is best KyouHaba ngl LOL. I love the plants, and if you read the second one, someone tell the trees to stop bullying Yahaba.

This gets annoying fast, Makki by Ink_stained_quills (G) 2.3k /MatsuHana/ IM IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES PLS I COULD NOT STOP CRYING TEARS OF LAUGHTER. This AU needs more fics PLEASE. It was SO freakin’ funny and the other teams KILLED ME. Like how they all approached the problem differently and how some of them (KUROO) asked for help LOL. Please this is so freaking funny go read it.

Sixth Time's the Charm by tsumekakusu (T) 2k /KyouHaba/ ok THIS was SO FREAKING funny, please Yahaba how dumb can you get LOL. The number thing made me facepalm so hard, but the ending was cute and that’s all that matters, right?

rated m for by orphan_account (T) 10.7k /MatsuHana/ I love this fic it made me laugh so much throughout the whole thing! The vibes in this fic are immaculate and give me life (we love a good reunion with mystery writers) please, it really is SO good!

Sleep by GangstaCrow (T) 5.5k /KyouHaba/ the plot twist.... omg.... I had to pause and take a moment of silence for the people suffering because of LL... Poor Kyoutani.....

The One With The Spies by hangoverhater /Multi (but mainly IwaOi)/ PLEASE,,, the fics in this series? HILARIOUS. THE SECOND FIC ”Well, this is a nice change of scenery.” “It’s a prison cell.” “I was being sarcastic.” HAD ME DYING. Poor Daichi, he really needs those days off :)))))

smiles like yours are hard to come by by bonnia (T) 1.9 /KuroKen/ I was so akjfkajsdnf this entire fic PLEASE the lines he used omfg. They’re such classics but I still reacted to each one WITH PASSION LFMAKJNAKNKA. This is such a keyboard smash fic (hence the keyboard smash) because I kept being like THE FLUFF IS TOO MUCH, but is it ever really enough? (dang am I a poet LMAO).

New:

take me to the limit, hold me down there by volchitsae (E) 3.8k /SakuAtsu/ I ADORE THIS FIC. LOVE LOVE LOVE it and the rate my teacher comments? HILARIOUS. It’s only explicit at the very end (cause of some ~spice~), so if you don’t want to read it cause it’s E, just don’t finish it (JK LOL BE SAFE).

THE WIENER SOLDIERS by damianwayne (T) 46.7k /MULTI/ literally it’s a texting fic. THESE ARE SO FUNNY. I really liked this one, and it made me laugh regularly. I love the Yahaba vs Shirabu agenda, and it’s just really chaotic so maybe that’s why I think it’s so funny LOL.

JFJKADKLAJHDFA this one is so funny and it just escalates. The situation just kept getting worse and I just kept laughing. This was just so chaotic, I loved it LOL.

a little bit funny, this feeling inside by postcanons (G) 5.4k /KyouHaba but also a mess LOL/ PLEASE THIS ONE omg crow matchmaker ftw. Like I said, I really love magic and this one is just so freaking funny. Also, very informational curtesy of one Kyoutani Kentarou.

bet on it by selenophim (T) 13.3k /SakuAtsu/ this is just one long drawn out joke and I love it. It’s so funny how NO ONE really expected it (and some betrayal by one Miya Osamu), and it’s just some comedic genius!!!

Clipped To You by littleboat (T) 8.1k /SakuAtsu/ okay first of all THERE’S ART, second I love Omi in hair clips <3333 It’s really funny with lots of ~pining~ Atsumu and there’s cameo’s of other players,,, it’s just a great time :D

meet me at the fucking pit (and let me hold your hand) by anyadisee (T) 5.4k /KyouHaba/ IF THE TITLE ISN’T MAKING YOU LAUGH ALREADY WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING????? (JK but am I really?) This was SO funny and it KILLED me,,, like all the conspiracies and how everyone was so seriously invested in it. Yes, CHAOS.

call me maybe by totooru (T) 33.6k /MatsuHana/ okay yea another (semi) chat fic,,, fight me. MatsuHana are just funny in general but throw some other characters (like Kuroo) into it and it turns into a comedy show. But the main point of this fic was like the near miss meetings and I think that the misunderstanding were hilarious (as much as I hate misunderstandings LOL).

things done in fanfic that annoys me: i haven't read much fic for them but once i've seen atsumu not respecting sakusa's boundaries whatsoever and it was like supposed to be cute in the end so that was creepy

What are your top 5 favorite edits you’ve done for the blog so far?

Oh man, I’ve made so many random shitposts. In chronological order below!

1) This one because I love Obama memes and Engeki Haikyuu!! Also I’d never used the perspective tool before when editing, so this edit was a great learning experience for me. (I should really make an updated version of this with our new setters.)

2) I’m getting flashbacks from the war. Oh my god, this one took forever to make. I saw a Lazytown version of this meme, and I found it so hilarious that I had to make one for the Haikyuu!! opening!

3) I love Deadchi so much, and I was ecstatic when I saw how much love my series received.

4) I remember seeing the original post that this was inspired by and knew I had to make a Hinata version. There are still some problems I have with it, but I feel like it looks fairly realistic (minus the fact that Hinata’s animated).

5) A funny one I made when we first got the announcement of a Haikyuu!! dub. I don’t know, I just sort of like how simple it is.

I basically just chose edits I had a lot of fun making! I have a pretty selective memory, so I don’t exactly remember which edits helped me develop my skills like Mod Bokuto’s picks are. WHOOPS.

I started watching Haikyuu!! after I finished Free! I wasn’t ready to escape the sports anime genre yet, so I thought that Haikyuu!! would be fun to watch.

What were your top 5 favorite edits you’ve done for the blog so far?

in chronological order:

1) this one isn’t as good because it’s an old edit, but it’s important because making this edit really helped me learn how to effectively use my editing program. the skills i learned from making this edit essentially made the rest of these edits on the list. plus oipepe is bae

2) this was really my first very ambitious edit, and although i see a lot of flaws with it now i think it’s pretty impressive considering the skills i had back then.

3) oh this edit sure was a doozy. it took me a super long time but i was really satisfied with how it turned out. once again, this edit helped me learn more tricks and tips in making better edits.

4) this edit wasn’t super hard and didn’t really help me learn anything it was just super fun to make lmaooo

5) and, of course, this edit. i think it may be my best one yet. it’s a culmination of all the skills i’ve learned over the past year. also some people in the notes thought it was real so that must mean it’s super good, right?

i mostly chose edits that were lengthy and required a lot of skill. there’s a lot that didn’t make onto the list that i chose because i thought it was clever lol

Haikyuu Fanfic recs: bamf/spy AU ;)

Hello loves! ~~Here I am, once again, not finishing one of the other drafts that I have and making a different post~~ (meant to be sung with the make it shine tune) Pretending like you didn’t just read that, I am here to recommend some bamf/spy AU fics because currently, that’s my vibe LOL. No this will NOT have mafia (even tho they are bamf’s) because this is supposed to be spy/secret agent orientated :))))))) (I say this, but if they overlap, they overlap.)

I love the way their relationship slowly comes to be and like at the end SakuAtsu just knows ajkfhaldjf. Also when Osamu did the thing (at the hotel) I FREAKED OUT LIKE WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT but it’s okay. They fixed it :’)

bang! now we're even by Authoress (M) 11.9k /BokuAka/ yes you might recognize this from my other post LOL, but I really love this fic so here it is. AGAIN HEHE. Also, Akaashi in a dress? Like the tags might state, what more do you need? The characters are done beautifully, and the story development is SO good (like THE TWIST UGH).

hq detective AUs by valiantarmor /BokuAka, KuroKen, IwaOi/ again, from that same post EHEHE. Man do I really love fighting in my fics LOL. This was super good and the plot itself kept me really engaged (what a twist omg). It does talk a bit about mental health issues, but it’s done so well, and they really did this AU justice! The three fics can be read separately BUT they’re all done so well, I think you should read them all :)

on the eighteenth by skittidyne (T) 5k /KuroKen/ I love fics where the characters are forced to face their feelings. This is one of those fics LOL. It’s done so well and the small details (as Kenma loves) are inserted really well. Like the first night where they fake doing stuff? Amazing LOL.

Punches by Sebastians_senpai (M) 1.5k /IwaOi/ hot Iwa hot bamf Iwa. Like entrance? Hot. Killing people? Hot. Anyway I want a boyfriend who will protect me if I get hurt. Can I be Oikawa? (you know being Oikawa would be an honor in itself)

just a boy undercover (and a boy with the getaway) by volchitsae (M) 14.1k /SakuAtsu/ twin fight rendition number idk but it’s good so whatever LOL. Is it really a SakuAtsu fic without one mention of a major twin fight? (probably yes but in this case no LOL) This one was SO good and I love how annoying Sakusa is >>>> for Atsumu. Also the acceptance at the end ajfakdlf HEART WARMED.

to crash in orbit by aceun (T) 2.8k /SunaOsa/ I LOVE BEING UNPROFESSIONAL ON THE JOB!!!!!! I adore how they know each other’s tendencies and how Osamu is like, I know he’s hot LOL. Also when they talked about Rome and Prague it made me laugh OMG. And RIP Osamu’s watch, worked hard never to be seen again LOL.

the unfinished kiss by Ellieb3an (E) 6.3k /SakuAtsu/ I told myself, less or no smut, but here we are. Honestly you’d think I learn I never stick to my own rules LOL. Anyway, this is SPICY so avoid if you don’t like smut heheh. I absolutely love when they use fighting as foreplay like adflkhf yes PUNCH HIS FACE (does that make me violent? probably LOL).

In knives and bullets by badreputation (M) 8.3k /SunaOsa/ UGH this one. Suna and Osamu’s relationship is *chef’s kiss*. And like I love how it isn’t too rushed and they took their time (also angry Suna is HOT). Like the tension at the house during the thing and then the PROPOSAL (LIKE YES). I always find myself coming back to this fic cause I just really love it <3

training by Sebastians_senpai (M) 3.2k /IwaOi/ again the smut.... ANyway, this one is some bamf Oikawa and head-made-of-steel Iwa LOL. Also some avengers talk makes it’s way up (and need I say, Iwa probably did look hot af when he did that), and him constantly hitting the other guy (cause spoilers hehe) made me laugh (ie. targeting LOL).

glass stained black by unrequitedangst (E) 31k /SunaOsa/ OKAY I said nO mAfIa Au’s well.... Technically it’s a SPY mafia AU so teehee. Also another repost cause why not LOL (but altered cause my writing is atrocious). The character development of Osamu is really legit and despite being mafia, it’s not that heavy or angst of a fic (but you should still definitely read tags and warnings first). It’s a non-linear fic (which I really liked, cause I love non-linear hehe) and the organization just adds another level to the fic development!

I love BAMF so if you have any to recommend, DO IT. Always up for more bamf/spy/secret agent AU’s HEHE. Also this turned into a collection of the same ships LOL IM SORRY, but I have a type and I think it’s very obvious hehe. I hope you all were careful about tags because I got lazy LOL. And this wasn’t in any particular order so I should’ve done it by ship, but I’m too lazy to do it now LOL.
