Phantom Punk x DC crossover: Lovebirds in Gotham

Inspired by another post that I can’t seem to find/link at the moment, and I had to make it my Punk au for Danny Phantom for reasons. Basic gist was Johnny and Kitty originally being from Gotham and having a date night

So, imagine it you will:      Punk Danny doing his thing and not playing somewhere that immediately draws the attention of one of the Bats for once (or so he thinks)

Enter Kitty and Johnny. They’re enjoying a night on the town and end up at the show Danny is playing. Considering that the two of them are teenage rebellion incarnate, they get along just fine with Punk Danny.

Danny just sees them between songs, stares right at them and says  “I’m not playing it” “Aw come on!” “... okay fine but you owe me a drink.” and proceeds to play what Johnny and Kitty refer to as “their song” some romantic ballad from when they were alive that’s more than a bit out of place for his setlist. 

Meanwhile Tim is in the crowd after Tim saw a flier for the show posted in a coffee shop. Trying to get a lead on Danny, he pretty easily figures out the three know each other and takes a picture of Johnny and Kitty. He figures that if he can follow the two’s trail back he can find out more about the mysterious musician that has yet to be Identified beyond “Danny”

Cue to the mass confusion at the Batcave when the two are Identified as Katherine “Kitty” Falcone, and Johnathan “Johnny” Sullivan, who happen to be a well known love story between a common thug from Park Row and one of the Falcone crime family’s daughters. 

Who also happened to be dead for the better part of 40 years

The chaos as now they’re trying to figure out where these two came from because they can’t be the same people. And with date night still not over, the two lead the Bats on a merry chase before disappearing

Hattori, recalling all times Shinichi has broken in somewhere, has knocked someone out by drugging them without consent countless times, impersonated others, harbored and protected a criminal as well as allowed another criminal to walk away time and time again because "he was just returning the favor": ...Yeah, very surprising.

While we don't see a whole lot from Number 1 in the game, I can't help but giggle at the fact that he would've shoved the biggest middle finger into Makoto's face had he actually succeeded in beating Yuma inside the Mystery Labyrinth. His plan was to not only make Yuma die the same way every culprit had before him to complete his ''perfect crime'', but then to take his place as Number 1 in the WDO while doubling as CEO of Amaterasu. Imagine. He actually succeeded and got out of the Labyrinth, tried to call up the WDO to manipulate them, only to find out Number 1 had already given up his position before coming to Kanai Ward.

All that planning, the lying, the fabricating, the fighting and the sacrificing he had to do to finally get to that point, his one singular goal ever since this train was set in motion-- just to get smacked with the realisation that you have been cockblocked from the beloved power you desperately craved by yourself. Great minds truly think alike, huh.

I genuinely cannot overstate the absolute thrill and fun and hilarity of a tv show that allowed all of it’s characters (in all their complexity) to be absolute dumbasses.

One of my favorite things to do is to rewrite the April 1st meeting of Kaito & Shinichi... Have the copy I won't be using in an upcoming fic.

He almost missed KID's arrival.  The phantom thief lived up to his name.  He landed on the roof without a sound, but there was this presence that Shinichi could just feel that made Shinichi turned around just in time to see KID alight on the roof. He cut an impressive figure, Shinichi had to admit that.  The all white costume glowed in the moonlight.  Silk, Shinichi believed, just going by how sharp the creases on KID's pants where and how his cape billowed in the wind.  75-100% silk, if Shinichi had to guess.  The only splashed of color were his socks, his shirt, his tie, and the ribbon around his hat.  Otherwise, the phantom thief looked like an ethereal ghost, walking among the living. "I can't say I was expecting company this early into the night," Kaitou KID said softly as he settled on the roof.  His voice was pleasant to the ears.  He didn't project harshly, like he was screaming, but his voice was heard anyways, even over the sound of the wind on the roof top.  Ventriloquism, perhaps? "And who might you be?" "Kudou Shinichi, detective."  Shinichi introduce himself, giving a little wave.  "Just here to see if I was right." "Oh?"  KID stepped down from where he landed, still light on his feet.  The way he moved was similar to how a ballerina might move, always on the tip of his toes to move quieter.  Leather soled shoes helped with that too, but they weren't going to protect KID's feet if he stepped on something long enough to penetrate the sole - not what Shinichi should be thinking about.  "Have I satisfied your curiosity then?"

Danny, Dick, and the weird thing about Time: DPxDC crossover prompt

     Dick Grayson is confused when a random man greets him enthusiastically with a hug out in public. He’s even more confused when the man proceeds to reference things he shouldn’t know, like Dick’s “Night Job.” Seeing the vigilante’s confusing, the man mutter’s something about “too early” before managing to lose Dick.      The confusion only grows the next time he sees the man only for the man to not know who he is or what he’s talking about.

Or: Danny, doing odd jobs for clockwork, finds himself running into Nightwing repeatedly in a non-linear order. Chaos ensues, especially when multiple Danny’s happen to be on Gotham at the same time.

yes im aware most of these are s2 (also i know the pride comic could/should be an option but wanted to keep it to the show also i ran out of options)
