Okay last one before I go to bed: Eventually, all the people who know Shinichi are able to recognize when Kaito is disguising as him as Kaito would rather be found out then be caught dead in what Shinichi thinks looks fashionable.

Yeah, it's so funny to see those outside of the fandom and those who hate the ship be like "the ship is dead" when the attitude in the ship fandom was to be annoyed at the development solely because of the bad writing and then either ignore it or play into it. People are still churning out content and the ship is sailing smoothly after these rough waves.

Some might have dropped it but most of us don't care. It's still better than his canon ships :p

why I get the feeling haibara gonna choose to stay a kid and relive her childhood while shinichi grows big again

It's a very popular take in the fandom really as unlike Shinichi, Haibara didn't have a childhood, she was always under the thumb of the organization so staying a child would let her have another go at the life that was taken from her. The only way I would see her returning to her og body was if Gosho was serious about her crush on Shinichi and Shinichi returned her feelings.

I don't mind Haibara remaining a child though, if she did view it as another chance at childhood, one where she isn't living in fear of the BO, then she deserves it.
