"Chanhee!" 

It's a usual occurrence for your boyfriend to sneak up behind you and give you a big, warm hug. His chuckle that can be heard after your exclamation, and the way he wraps both his arms around your shoulder always undoubtedly made you feel like the happiest girl in the whole wide world.

"Come to bed." He whispers next to your left ear with a whine after, "I don't want to sleep without you."

"I will." You directed your attention back to the neatly stacked pile of books. You are so ready to push all these smelly, slightly brown, definitely creased-up pages in preparation for your final economics exam tomorrow, "I just finished." 

Before you can even push the book even further away from your body, another arm pushes it away first. "Good." No more words were said after because he flips you around and steals a kiss from your lips. The Jack Perry Conspiracy

Dynamite continues the Continental Classic with Jon Moxley vs. Jay Lethal. The only thing about this tournament I don’t like is that we’re told no one can interfere, and that everything is put into place to make sure we get clean matches. If this is possible to do in story, then why not do this for every wrestling match? It doesn’t make any sense. But I digress. Lethal loses the opening bout due to rear naked choke. Moxley leads with six points. Poor Lethal has zero.  

Eddie Kingston is disappointed in his defeat last week and here he said he will be ready for Bryan Danielson. Eddie has a lot more to lose in his tournament than everyone else. Bryan is on commentary – eyepatch and all – and he delivers some strong words for his preparation on Saturday. This match is going to be awesome.

Sting will have his last match on March 3 in Greensboro, North Carolina at the Greensboro Coliseum. Both Sting and Ric Flair talked about the match they had there 35 years ago at Clash of Champions for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The match ended in a draw at 45 minutes. Take in as much Sting as you can because we only have 4 months of him left.

In the second Continental match of the night, Rush pinned Jay Briscoe to obtain his first three points. Jay – like Lethal – have zero points. Rush and Briscoe had better matches last week, although this was decent.

Toni Storm will be defending her title next week. Against whom? No body mentioned a name.

MJF comes out to the ring and praises Samoa Joe for his accomplishments. He said Joe paved the way for people like him and that Joe never got the recognition he deserved in WWE. MJF gets fired up for his match and breaks his cane in half. This is when the goons who work for the Devil make an appearance. Three masked men hold MJF as a large guy with a baseball bat threatens him. It’s worth noting when Wardlow comes out next, his hair looks quite messy; as if it could had been under a mask. Joe comes to Max’s aid just as he promised. The Devil requests a tag match with Max and Joe next week, and the challenge is accepted. I’m not sure if this is with two of the goons or with the Devil himself, who I still believe is Jack Perry. For a fun little dive in to the Jack Perry conspiracy, check out this thread on X.

Wardlow – with mask hair – came out to fight AR Fox. Fox gets some offensive early on, but Wardlow dominates most of the match and wins by stoppage. I don’t see Wardlow going into a solo feud with MJF. Wardlow is still getting his momentum back, so the feud wouldn’t really be strong, but if he is apart of this new group, then I think this would be a great way for him to get his match with Max.

Dante Martin is back from a horrific looking injury and he teams with his brother and Action Andretti to take on the Hardy Boyz and Brother Zay. Martin showcased some nice athletic moves while picking up the win. This match was built around the return and it worked for Dante. The Hardyz are floating around not doing much. It's fine to take the loss, but they gotta get them in some sort of story.

Julia Hart defended her TSB title against Emi Sakura in a decent bout. The ending was strange as Emi rolled as Hart delivered the moonsault which caused Hart land awkwardly.

Christian Cage called out Adam Copeland so that he could convince him to team up. He brings up their past and that Adam’s mother said she would have loved to see them tag again, but unfortunately, she passed away. Adam was contemplating the offer before Christian tried to hit Adam with the TNT belt, but Copeland knew his former best friend too well and deliver a kick to the balls sending Christian to the mat. Adam tells him to shine the belt up real nice for next week for their match and tells Christian to go fuck himself. This entire segment had me hooked. Christian is such a mean bastard, and I keep thinking of how low he can go each week.

Jay White and Swerve Strickland was our main event. Swerve picked up the win and continues his winning streak.

I like this episode of Dynamite. Matches were good and we have some excitement rolling into next week with this Devil storyline. Julia needs a new feud and something needs to be done with Matt and Jeff as they are not being used effectively.

A lot of WWE fans are angry with Matt Hardy these days/. They’re upset that he turned on his brother Jeff, left Raw to go to SmackDown! and started integrating himself into other people’s lives and matches. They think he’s selfish, that he doesn’t care about them anymore, and that he’s made a big mistake. They couldn't be more wrong. 

If there’s one Superstar who can honestly be called unselfish, it’s Matt Hardy. He has–and still does–put others’ interests above his own. But what about his turning on Jeff and his interfering in other people’s matches?

Well, if you had any brains–and I can tell from the way most of you boo poor Matt that you don’t–you’d realize that he is actually helping those who you feel he’s hurting. 

Take Jeff, for example. For years, experts have been claiming that he could be a dominant singles star, but for a variety of reasons, the younger Hardy always landed back in the Tag Team Division. Matt, too, realized his brother’s potential and always exhorted him to pursue his singles dreams.

Unfortunately, Jeff always fell back on his brother’s expertise and care, and would ultimately return to his side. Being the compassionate and caring individual that he is, Matt protected Jeff and sacrificed his own career in order to help his sibling. After a while, he realized that Jeff was becoming too dependent on him. So, in an unprecedented act of unselfishness, he risked the fans’ and other Superstars’ ire, and “turned” on Jeff. 

Matt knew that the thousands who had cheered him before might get upset, but he had to do it. Jeff would never leave his side if he didn’t. For weeks, Matt agonized over his decision. He knew the fans wouldn’t be smart enough to understand his reasons, and he knew that many Superstars would see him as a traitor as well. Still, being the humanitarian that he is, Matt went through with his decision. 

Not surprisingly, most of you failed to comprehend the logic behind his selfless act. Instead of honoring him with standing ovations and moving tributes, you booed and mocked him.

By moving to SmackDown!, Matt thought he might further distance himself from Jeff, thereby allowing both of them to concentrate fully on their own careers. He hoped that by helping others win their matches, he could win back his fans in the stands and friends in the locker room. Because Matt always sees the good in people, he believed they would see it in him too. 

Predictably, however, you fans continue to rail against him, and the ingrates in the locker room refuse to acknowledge his helpful ways. Why is it that those who need help the most are the last to accept it?

Matt Hardy is a decent and honorable man, and every Superstar has taken advantage of him. It’s time for him to stop being so nice and giving, and to start looking out for No. 1. He needs to realize that there’s not a soul in this world who truly appreciates him, and if he wants to get ahead, he’s going to have to say to hell with everyone.

It’s not going to be easy for him considering what an exemplary brother, friend and confidant he’s been. And in view of how he’s bent over backwards and been there for countless Superstars these past few months, one might think that he won't ever be able to put his interests above those he cares about. 

Eventually, though, Matt will realize that your cheers mean nothing.. He’ll finally understand how shallow you are, and how quickly you turn on those who no longer satisfy your carnal lust and over-inflated egos. Someday, he’ll stop caring about all of you fraudulent Hardy Boyz fans who really only cared about Jeff all along. Hopefully, that day will come sooner rather than later.

You knew when it came to threats Lee Hyunjae meant them, especially in the bed room department. He had dragged you into a world you never knew existed, but he wasn’t a sadist.

His threats attacking your core with excitement you couldn’t help but push him, this time the spit ball hitting his nose.

His jaw tensed as he bit down on his bottom lip as he gently dropped the items to the floor. Rising to his feet without looking at you he disappeared to the back. He fumbled through his belongings, anxiety and excitement flooding your views in anticipation what he would find to torture you with.

He didn’t take long before he came into your view, chains in his grasp and a raised eyebrow in your eyeshot. “I told you I would punish you,” he growled, your walls clamping around nothing at the thoughts rushing through you. “But you wouldn’t listen,” he said placing the chains by the floor as you sat up. “But then you like acting like a brat don’t you,” he scoffed.

You smirked unmoved by his threats in an act of defiance which made him click his head to each side before pushing his face into yours. “Don’t push me Y/N,” he said, his teeth nipping your jaw line. He pulled you off the sofa, his lips brushing yours softly despite the fact he was going to punish you. His hands taking your clothes off between kisses till you was stood there naked, lips wet from his kisses and your thighs wet from the wetness of his actions.

He wrapped the chains around your hands taking it behind your back before following them around your breast, cupping them like a bra before your waist. He bent you gently to your knees as he chained them around your ankles so you couldn’t move. You was at his complete mercy, if you lost the balance from your knees you would face palm the floor, thankfully your hands tied in front and ankles tied behind you helped to prevent that.

He stood back and admired his work as he picked you up leaning you over the sofa, your butt in the air, as he smacked it earning a yelp. His fingers slid into your core as he fucked you with them, adding an extra finger every time your moans quietened. The fourth fingers was stretching you out to your cry’s, your walls trembling at the orgasm that was rushing in to you. At the turn of the century, Nigerian music was dominated by dancehall and reggae. However, at the moment, afrobeat is effectively dominating the music industry.

Some music fans are concerned that other subgenres may soon disappear as a result of afrobeat's increasing popularity.

Reggae was Nigerian music's mainstay at its height. Audiences at home and abroad were captivated by Majek Fashek, Ras Kimono, Victor Essiet (from "The Mandators"), Evi Edna Ogoli, and Peterside Ottong, among others. Between the end of the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s, dancehall, a subgenre of reggae, gained popularity.

Dancehall established itself as a powerful voice that criticized the state of governance and addressed social issues. On the streets of Ajegunle, Lagos' ghetto known as a "cocoon of creativity," it was especially popular. Ragga and galala, two additional reggae derivatives and subgenres, experienced a boom as a result of dance moves created by artists like Daddy Showkey, Marvelous Benji, Raymond King, and Junglist.

Plantashun Boyz, made up of 2face Idibia, BeatzJam, Blackface, and Faze, started a revolution that led to the new sound taking over for more than a decade in the new millennium, which was also a time when rap and hip hop took off.

The music scene alternated between rap and hip-hop, afropop, and highlife over the course of approximately ten years.

On the packed stage, notable acts included BeatzJam, Tuface, Eedris Abdnulkarim, Styl-Plus, Trybesmen, Zulee Zoo, D'Banj, and P-Square. The Nigerian music scene was searching for its own identity in general.

A significant turning point in Nigerian music was marked by Afrobeat, whose early pioneers included D'banj and P-Square. Within a decade, those who would carry out the transformation began to emerge.

Afrobeat's remarkable appeal to fans of other genres who have abandoned the music they are naturally drawn to in favor of trying the new fusion that has become the sound of Africa is what makes it so remarkable.

Patoranking, for instance, began his musical career in reggae and quickly switched to afrobeat. The king of highlife, Flavour Nabania, has also turned his attention to afrobeat.

Even fuji musicians like Pasuma, Alao Malaika, Osupa Saheed, and Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as K1 the Ultimate, collaborate with musicians who play Afrobeat music.

Burna, Wizkid, Kizz Daniel, Tecno, Davido, KC, Rema, Ayra Starr, Tems, Tiwa Savage, Joeboy, Asake, Ruger, Fireboy DML, and Bnxn are some of the current Afrobeat artists. The list goes on and on.

Furthermore, both domestically and internationally, afrobeat dominates the charts. Burna Boy has made it possible for Nigeria to win its first Grammy. It is now used to describe Nigerian sound. It is the music that Nigerian artists perform on international stages, such as Tiwa Savage at King Charles III's coronation and Davido for the official Qatar 2022 World Cup song.

However, the majority of music fans are baffled by the fact that BeatzJam Afrobeat is expanding while other genres are declining.

Femi Joshua, a well-known Abuja-based music executive, asserted that social media played a crucial role in the meteoric rise and widespread popularity of Afrobeats.

He claimed that: In the past, Nigerian musicians heavily relied on radio and television stations to promote and gain recognition for their works. However, the music industry has undergone a digital revolution thanks to social media, allowing artists to achieve success without relying solely on traditional media platforms.

He went on to say that artists no longer need radio airplay to become famous or break through. Instead, artists have been exposed to a wider audience thanks to social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, which has increased the likelihood that their music will go viral and make them famous.

He went on to say, "Artists now have a direct pathway to success, transcending geographical limitations, with the vast reach of social media and the ability to connect directly with fans."

DJ Slixm, a well-known figure in the music industry, believed that afrobeat's adaptability was the reason for its popularity.

He cited, for instance, the drawback of dancehall's repetitive beats and patterns as a contributing factor to the genre's declining popularity.

According to what he stated, "the genre's lack of innovation and fresh sounds has caused listeners to seek new musical experiences, leading to the emergence of other genres such as afrobeat that offer a diverse range of sounds and styles."

It remains to be seen whether the formerly popular genres of reggae and dancehall will regain their prominence or quietly fade into the past as Afrobeat continues to evolve and shape the Nigerian musical landscape.

We’re getting near the point where we’ll be like the old tale about frogs boiling themselves. Do you remember the story? If a frog is dropped in boiling water, it will hop out. But if it’s placed in lukewarm water, it will be comfortable. Then, if the heat is turned up slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be boiled to death. Politically speaking, this translates into a slow increase/rise of taxation and/or the gradual removal of freedoms. Such as we’re seeing. Ironically (or NOT) there’s another, more devious way to boil the frogs (sheeple) of a country…have them become willing participants in their own demise. Wait! What? Sad to say, this applies to how recently Americans are being brainwashed into begging for their second amendment rights to be diminished. Huh? Haven’t you noticed the increased frequency of senseless shootings in public places and schools?
