The original Gravity Falls pitches and pilot just dropped!!

(Link for those who want it)

For those who don't wanna look through all of it, here are some highlights I found!

Interesting changes from the pitch (What Alex Hirsch showed Disney to make them greenlight the show):

Stan’s secret was that he’s secretly protecting the townsfolk from weirdness, nothing to do with Ford. No mention of Ford in the pitch at all. Stan also wanted Dipper and Mabel to be his successors in this version.

Mabel used to be the unhygienic one instead of Dipper.

Wendy was brunette and didn’t work as the Mystery Shack cashier, instead selling veggie juice out of her van.

As such, Soos (Jesús in this version) worked the register in addition to his handyman job in this version. He was a bit less of a hard worker here, watching telenovelas on the job sometimes, but still loves his job and is extremely loyal to Stan.

Robbie was almost exactly the same, parents’ backstory and all, but there’s an interesting note that he occasionally clashed with Gideon in this version (which we never got in the final show)

Speaking of which, Gideon’s last name in this version was Garrymore instead of Gleeful.

Gideon used to personally harass and prank Stan, going out of his way to vandalize Stan’s stuff himself.

Manly Dan was always planned to be Wendy’s dad. In this version, he hates the idea that his hipster daughter prefers conserving the environment instead of chopping down forests

(For those who wanted more Wendy episodes, I’m surprised Hirsch didn’t use this as a conflict for one of them- it makes her interesting without costing any of her “coolness”)

Sheriff Blubs was originally Sheriff “Blumps”. Durland has the same name likely because Hirsch said he’s named after a real guy.

With no Ford and no Journal mentioned, episodes were originally very different-

“The President’s Cabinet/Irrational Treasure.” Instead of via the journal, Dipper and Mabel find a record of Quentin Trembley in a box buried in the yard. No Pacifica mentioned here.

“Secret Dungeon” Dipper becomes obsessed with a recalled arcade cabinet. Mabel must try and save him by finding the original high scorer.

“Thtupid Thursday” One of the many ‘Shining Twins’ episode concepts Hirsch wanted to do. Dipper and Mabel learn ‘twin telepathy’ from some creepy twins, and soon regret it.

“Periodic Mabel” Mabel invents her own element for the science fair and Dipper is jealous.

“Only the Clonely/Boyz Crazy” The exact same episode just without Candy and Grenda. Sev’ral Timez is called “ReelBoyzzz” in this version.

“Big Dipper” With surprisingly no tie to Little Dipper, Dipper asks a fortune teller to make him older so he can win Wendy over. But she makes him 22, so he and Mabel have to undo the spell.

“Sweater off Dead” Mabel buys an antique sweater and is possessed by the soul of the granny who last wore it. Stan is terrified by the spirit because she reminds him of his ex-wife Marilyn (Deep Edalyn Clawthorne lore???) so Dipper must “Swexorcize” his sister and save her.

“Teed Off/The Golf War” With no Pacifica, this was originally a Dipper vs Gideon episode- No Lilliputtians, either. Instead, the 13th hole is cursed and traps the cast in a time loop.

Now, changes from the Production Pitch (I’m guessing for when the show was already greenlit and this was a way to brief crew members on what the show would 100% be about)

Stan’s secret (likely the portal) and the journal are now set in stone.

Emphasis on continuity and character development. Nothing gets “reset” by next episode. All plot developments are permanent.

All character names and designs are locked in. Pacifica has now been added, as well as Waddles, Gompers, Lazy Susan, Candy and Grenda, and McGucket (No mention or hint at his past here)

Interesting to note is that there is still zero outright mention of Ford and Bill in this version, even though multiple episodes were seemingly in production at this point.

Manly Dan’s conflict with Wendy from the original pitch is still here. Making it even more mindblowing that we never got it in the show

Blubs and Durland are described as a little more playful instead of mean like in the original pitch.

All episode examples made it into the show with no changes this time. They are Tourist Trapped, Legend of the Gobblewonker, Fight Fighters, Boyz Crazy, and The Land Before Swine.

Jisoo was only 2 when she left South Korea and moved to New York. She started dancing when she was 3 and singing when she was 5. She is also a trained Opera Singer.

Jisoo’s mother was also born in Korea but then moved to the states. Jisoo’s father is Korean but was raised in China and at some point became a Korean teacher in China before leaving to the states and meeting Jisoo’s mother.

Jisoo’s mother used to be a singer until she got pregnant with her first son. after having all of her kids, she became a cosmetologist.

Jisoo has 5 cats. Mellow, B, Violet, Lily, and Frisk.

Jisoo has 4 siblings.

One older brother: Juyeon (1998,FC: Juyeon from The Boyz)

2 younger sisters (2004,2006) and one younger brother (2007) No FC yet!

She met Mark Lee when she was 5 in kindergarten and they’ve been friends ever since.

Jisoo left New York in April of 2011 so she can join an entertainment company called SM ENTERTAINMENT in Korea. Mark also joined her as he also wanted to join the company.

Jisoo trained for only 6 months and made her debut with LUCID in September of 2011, at only 11 years old.

It was a controversial debut as there was 9 members, and all of them were underage, but the company was very protective of them that it later died down.

Although Jisoo had made her debut, Mark hadn’t and he was still a trainee. Jisoo and him still kept in contact but since she was so busy with schedules they sometimes went without talking for days.

Jisoo met Park Jisung in 2013, and the company asked Jisoo to befriend Jisung as he was also a dancer. Jisoo and Jisung eventually became friends (After Jisoo went through war)

The company then put Mark and Jisung together and later added Haechan, Jaemin, and Jeno and they were known as Baby Shinki!

the problem was, Baby Shinki were a talented group of boys but they never seemed to behave, which led SM entertainment to have the idea of adding one of the LUCID girls to Baby Shinki, specifically one their age.

after interviewing the 3 members that were around their age, SM made the choice to add Jisoo to Baby Shinki.

Jisoo trained with the boys and was able to guide the boys and pick up their strengths.

The 6 of them were part of SM ROOKIES and people developed the nickname of “The Siblings” For Jisoo, Jaemin, and Jisung. Jaemin and Jisoo had the same exact birthday and Jisung and Jisoo shared similar names and they all had the dynamic of siblings.

The SM ROOKIES also at some point shared a dorm before debut!

Eventually Chenle and Renjun were added to the lineup and debuted as 8 On August 25th, 2016.

Mark and Jisoo were assigned the leader position, and this position allowed them to graduate the group in 2019.

'World wide hard worker'..BTS Jin

Jin, a member of the group BTS, was selected as the No. 1 idol who conquered K-pop.

Jin won an overwhelming 45.78% of the votes in a vote held by the global K-pop fandom platform 'Whosfan' from the 7th to the 13th under the theme '[WhosPICK] Who is the best idol who conquered K-pop?' climbed to 1st place ATEEZ's Hongjoong (20.97%) and Stray Kids' Hyunjin (17.77%) took second and third places in that order.

In this vote, which was based on recommendations from fans received through Whosfan's official SNS account, hard-working idols were placed as candidates. As nominees, Taemin of SHINee, Jin of BTS, Hongjoong of ATEEZ, Hyunjin of Stray Kids, The Boyz Q, Shuhua of (G)I-DLE, Kangmin of Verivery, Jake of N Hyphen, Jihoon of Treasure, and Junhyeok of TNX were up and competing.

Whosfan will publish a planned article and run a pop-up advertisement in the app for a week for Jin of BTS, who took first place in this voting. The planned article 'Who's Pick: View' deals with Jin's efforts to conquer K-pop. Detailed information regarding compensation can be found through Hanteo News and Whosfan applications.

On the other hand, since its official launch on May 22, 2020, Whosfan, a global K-pop fandom platform, succeeded in securing 5.5 million users in one year under the support of the global K-pop fandom, and recently surpassed 6.7 million users.

The dorm was empty, empty par the two intoxicated adults rushing through the dorm. Jamie was guiding Chani by his hand towards her bedroom only to be stopped by him in the hallway.

“Are you sure you want this?” He questions, you two were friends afterall, what would this to to that friendship?

“Yes. Please... do you?” She asked. His eyes searched her own before he pulled her in for what would have felt like the millionth kiss that night. (It wasn’t but don’t tell them that) They were in bliss, her arm wrapped over his shoulder, fingers tangled in the short hair, her other hand searching for the door knob.

The Boyz hadn’t planned to come home till after the afterparty, his own group, SF9, there as well so the two had snuck off- well they told their respective bands they’d be heading home... Jamie just never said who with.

Flashback

“You look like you’re having fun.” Jamie laughed as she looked to the male beside her. He jumped.

“Yeah.. afterparties aren’t really my thing.” He shrugged taking a gulp of his drink.

“Me either. Want some company?” The boy raised a brow. “What? I’m not asking you to dance.”

“You are one strange girl Song Jamie.”

“And you are one bored looking boy Kang Chani.” She sent him a wink whilst sipping at her own drink. “I’m not drunk yet so here’s a dumb sober question... how does it feel knowing I’m practically the same height as you?”

“Okay. I’m still taller-“ Chani laughed.

“By one centimetre! Mr 5’10.”

“Yeah yeah miss 5’9.”

After their giggling and jibbing wound down, and they were on their fifth drink each (and beginning to feel the effects of the admittedly strong beverage) they’d decided to chill outside on the balcony, sixth drink in hand.

“What’s this one a mix of?” Jamie questions, lightly bumping her hip into his as he goes to drink it.

“Vodka and guava juice or something. That’s what Hwiyoung said anyway.” Chani answered. “It tastes nice.”

“Was Hwiyoung hooking up with Xena or is that her wishful thinking?”

“Oh no they’ve fucked. Really loud too.”

“You look traumatised.” Jamie laughs, some drink spilling over the sides as the pair move to lean against each other.

“Have any of The Boyz brought people home?”

“Juyeon. I set him up with my friend Hyeji and well they are definitely thankful I did that... I don’t bring people over when anyone is at the dorm. Usually I go to a hotel or their dorm.”

“You’ve hooked up with people?”

“Yes. Why so surprised? Have you?”

“I don’t know just didn’t expect it. Not really. Maybe once but otherwise closest I got to anything was that make out session with Jiah in Sky Castle.”

“You need to let loose dude. Get rid of the stress god knows I do.” She giggles as the boy’s face flushed.

“Got anyone in mind?” He asked faux confidence flowing through him- mostly due to the help from the alcohol. They turned and looked at each other, eyes locked before placing down their now empty glasses and shuffling towards the dark corner of the balcony.

Jamie presses Chani against the wall, her fingers thread into his hair as their lips pressed together. His hands rested on her hips tugging her against him, the thin material of her dress leaving no thought to the imagination for him or his dick. The alcohol definitely helped with that, especially when the two began grinding against each other.

“Want to head to my dorm?” She whispers breathlessly between kisses. She almost whimpers when Chani’s hands grope at the flesh of her ass, a conformation.

“Yes.”

With a haste they fix themselves and split to tell their band’s respectively that they were heading off. Chani told Youngbin he was taking Jamie to her dorm while Jamie told Haknyeon she was getting dropped off at the dorm- he offered to take her himself but she told him to enjoy himself as she’d had enough that evening and needed some time alone- a lie but she certainly doesn’t need Haknyeon home while she’s with Chani.

With a wave the two are off, masks on and taxi driver oblivious. They quickly pay as they arrive and rush towards the door, lips again pressing against the others.

Flashback end

Leading up to now they’d only been making out, their tongues having all the fun exploring each other’s mouths.

“I’m either in a lot of trouble or going to get horribly teased... apparently my manager has arrived to pick me up how nice.” Jamie snorts finally sobering up along with Chani.

“We fucked for a while I guess.” Some shifting outside the door startled them and a bang sounded on the door.

“Jamie are you done? And whoever is in there with you?” Chani and Jamie laughed at Chanhee’s attempt to be angry, his drunken slur really didn’t help them feel intimidated. She wobbled a little as she walked the unkempt looking boy to the door.

“Yes Chanhee we are done why want a go yourself?” She said swinging open the door.. to say the boy was unimpressed was accurate. Eric looked disgusted along with Hyunjae who had sauntered passed as she opened the door. “How long you been home?”

“Long enough to head most of whatever you two were doing.” Eric gagged.

Chani apologied and made his way to the front door, Jamie following to let him out... well this was awkward pretty much everyone was in the living room sitting like disappointed parents.

“Ah I’ll be going now.” Chani said and she merely nodded and said goodbye to him as he shut the door behind him.

The boyz weren’t really in the mood for the rest of the party and had decided to head home... they really wish they didn’t, a certain girl’s roommates specifically.

While everyone was at different stages of disgust and carelessness Kevin was.. notably and confusingly angry. He didn’t know why, those watching his face shift to one of anger were also confused. The Boyz opted to stay in the living room totally not to glare at whoever left Jamie’s room. When all the sound stopped Chanhee and Eric stood up half-hazardly to see if it was over while Hyunjae decided he needed a shower- who knows why he needed to announce that (hint: it was the alcohol).

Kang Chani was who left the room with Jamie... he looked understandably uncomfortable with the stares from the large boy group and made his quick goodbyes.

‘Maybe he wasn’t that good’

‘Bet I could have been better.’

“What’s wrong with that?” Jamie snapped back. Kevin rolled his eyes. “Dude I have needs that need to be met and we were drunk so we had sex isn’t going to change anything between us.”

“It’s not? What about the group dynamics. You two are friends what if the media caught you two of the way here? Did you make out in the taxi on the way here?”

“Calm the fuck down Kev.”

“Language Jamie.” Sangyeon intercepted. Jacob motioned for him to shut up.

“I can sleep with whoever I wish. I wasn’t forced too and he wasn’t either. For a fact neither has anyone I have slept with so calm the fuck down. Why are you so upset? I get horny to sorry to say.”

Kevin’s jaw clenched. He really didn’t know why he was so angry.. not at all.

“Sorry... I guess the alcohol got to me tonight... just be safe.” He said quietly walking off towards the bathroom. Jamie watched confused as he walked off seemingly in a daze.

Hello! I'm Zeta, 23, she/her and the owner of this blog (EU based)! I'm an uni student (bleh, I know) and I'm a fanfic writer/kpop stan! I'm an ISFJ and a Taurus (May 13th)💕

For this event we highlight two exciting anniversaries: Btswritingcafe’s 3rd anniversary as a network and BTS’ 9th anniversary.

Birthday Surprise → Lee Jaehyun

anonymous asked: Wow I'm in love with your sangyeon fic! May I request for hyunjae~ since his bday is coming up, can you write a fluff where you help him celebrate his bday privately when he arrives at your apartment at night? Thank you!

Genre: Fluff.

“I’m home!” You yelled as you entered your house. “Hey babe,” Your boyfriend greeted you, his head peeking from the couch. You walked to him and threw your keys and your bag on the nearest chair. Then sat beside him.

”Hey,” You replied, and wrapped your arms around him. “Are you okay?” He asked wrapping his arms around you too. You simply nodded in his embrace, “How was your day?” He asked you, his hand stroking your hair.

You told him all about your day, not forgetting to mention how you were going to avenge your college professor for giving you a low grade for the essay you worked so hard in. He laughed at your avenging plan and you two continued to watch the movie in silence.

After the movie ended you two cuddled in bed. “Y/N,” He said and you hummed in response, “What day is tomorrow?” He asked and you answered absent-minded, “It’s Sunday.”

“Yeah I know it’s Sunday, I mean what day is it?!” He asked again. “September 13th,” You replied and he face-palmed. “Yes.. It’s Sunday.. September 13th.. And what’s special about that day?” He said sighed, trying to stay patient. You thought for a minute then looked at him and Your eyes widened.

“It’s your birthday! Oh my god I forgot!” You said guilty. “Oh my god babe I’m so sorry!”

You thought he would be angry but instead he smiled. “No, it’s okay,” He said, “I know you’ve been busy with your classes, but we can still spend the day together..” You interrupted him, “But don’t you have practice tomorrow?” You asked him. “Yeah... But.. I can call it off and spend the day with you.” He told you looking at you in the eyes. “Oh Jae, I want that too but..” You paused and looked down. “I promised Jiyeon to go with her to the doctor’s tomorrow, plus you can’t just call off practice, you know how much they need you,” You told him holding his hand. “It’s alright.” He smiled again and you know that he was only forcing it to hide his disappointment.

“Now you need to go to sleep,” You told him and he nodded.

“Good night babe,” He told you and you kissed him, before closing the lights. “Good night.” You whispered and closed your eyes.

“Jae... Jae babe, wake up!” You shook him awake. “Five more minutes.” He replied with a sleepy, raspy voice and turned to the other side.

“Jae, you don’t have five more minutes you’re already late for practice.” You said, getting closer to him and shaking his shoulder again. He turned and grabbed you by the waist and pulled you to his embrace.

“That’s better,” He smile, still closing his eyes. “Jae I’m serious!” You frowned. He opened his eyes and saw your expression. “Is there any chance we can just cancel everything and stay like this?” He asked

“Uh-uh.” You shook your head no and crossed your arms, “Alright.” He sighed in defeat and let go of you. You stood up and left the room after making sure that he went to the bathroom.

“Goodbye!” You yelled after him and closed the door. ‘Oh poor Jae.. He was really tricked.’ you thought. Your phone rang and you picked up immediately.

“Hello,” You said then came the voice of your best friend, Jiyeon. “Is he gone?” She asked, “Yes,” You replied then came her voice again. “Alright, go get ready I will pick up in ten.” She told you and hang up.

You got ready then heard the sound of Jiyeon’s car outside. You took your keys and your bag and ran to her after locking the door of your house. You got in the car and she sat off.

After what seemed like two hours, you were both riding back to your house after buying everything you needed. Jiyeon pulled up in front of your house and you both transferred the bags into the house. You heard the bell of the door ringing so you went to open it, leaving Jiyeon to finish unpacking.

“Unnie you are just in time!” You said and she gave you a hug, then she entered and you closed the door.

“Jiyeon this Jaehyun’s sister.. Unnie this is Jiyeon my best friend.” You introduced them to each other and the shook hands.

“Now we have to start making the cake before the members come.” You said and you three started working.

After an hour, you heard the bell again and you told Jiyeon to open the door.

“Y/n, you better hurry because Jaehyun is starting to doubt our plan!” Younghoon said as he entered with Changmin, Chanhee, Sunwoo, Sangyeon, and Haknyeon.

“Alright we are almost done with the cake, you can start with the decorations until I finish.” You told them and they started working.

“What was their plan?” Jaehyun’s sister asked you as you two were decorating the cake using the pumping bag.

“Juyeon and Younghoon convinced their manager to make him stay and practice for their performance,” You said. “You guys are seriously awesome!” She said and you laughed.

After another hour and half everything was ready, you went to your room to change. You wore a scarlet knee-length dress and made your hair. You heard the bell ring again, so you went down to see it was the remaining members of the Boyz, Juyeon, Hyunjoon, Jacob, Kevin and Eric.

“He will be here in five minutes.” Kevin said. “Yeah we better hurry!” You said and went to get his gift from your room then came back just as you heard the sound if his car pulling in front of your house.

“He is here, go hide!” You whispered and everyone ran to their hiding places.

You closed the lights and stood behind the door. You all heard the sound of his keys before the lock opened. Just as he pushed the door open you opened the lights and everyone jumped

“Happy birthday!” You all yelled in unison.

“I..I .. Oh my god.. You guys... What?!” He was so surprised that he went speechless.

“Happy birthday babe,” You told him as you stepped from behind the door. “But you said... You forgot about it..” He said in confusion. “You’re so cute Jae!” You laughed and hugged him, “What kind of girlfriend am I to forget my boyfriend’s birthday?”

“So all of this was a trick!” He finally understood and you all laughed at his reaction. “I just wanted to surprise you,” You told him looking in his eyes. “Yeah, Y/N is the one who planned everything.” Juyeon said and Jaehyun looked at you. “You really did all this?” He asked and you nodded.

“Oh my god Y/N,” He hugged you tightly and kissed your forehead and you smiled hugging him back.

“Guys.. I hate to interrupt this lovely moment but I’m really hungry!” Kevin said

“Yeah, come on!” Eric complained and everyone murmured in agreement.

“Alright.. Alright.” Jaehyun said before letting go of you and you both joined the others around the table. “Wait, just one last thing,” You stopped them. “Unnie come out!” You yelled and Jaehyun’s sister came out of her hiding spot. You watched his reaction as he saw her.

”Noona?!”

“How come you turned 24?” She asked and walked to him.

His eyes went teary and he hugged her. Everyone awed at there cute moment.

“Now, we are ready.” You said and went to cut the cake with the help of Jiyeon.

You all sang happy birthday and cut the cake, everyone sat down and talked. You went to the kitchen to bring more beverages from the fridge. Just as you closed the door of the fridge and turned around, you were trapped between two arms.

“How come you look so freaking beautiful?” Jaehyun whispered before leaning forward and kissing you on the lips. “Jae..Jae, wait..Not here,” You said and he stopped and backed a little, still gazing in your eyes.

“What?” He asked.

“What if someone walks in on us like that?” You whispered.

“I don’t care.” He replied and leaned in again but you stopped him with your free hand. “Just wait until everyone leaves..” You told him. “Then?” He tilted his head. “Then.. I’m all yours.” You winked at him and he smiled. “Alright then.” He gave you a peck and backed away leaving the kitchen.

You took a deep breath and adjusted yourself and you heard Jaehyun’s voice yelling,

“Everybody, You have to leave!”

You face-palmed before leaving the kitchen to stop your boyfriend from kicking everyone out.

Happy birthday to our Lee Jaehyun Aka Hyunjae, I can’t believe he is 24, I remember the first time I saw him in C’mon the Boyz s1, I really thought he was one of the maknae line 😂.
