Grace has moved to Hong Kong with her Mom (and stepdad too). She’s on a field trip when a strange old woman gives Grace a dragon egg. That’s not going to come to anything right? Oh, wait, right… it definitely will. And, soon she does in fact realize the stories about dragons that she’s been told. Well, they’re real. The egg hatches, a dragon is born, and, suddenly she and her new friends have to protect the dragon because there are people who want to destroy and to use the dragon’s power. Can they save Hong Kong?
My favorite part of this graphic novel was definitely the characters (including the dragon). Since she’s going to an international school in Hong Kong, Grace’s friends were all different and fun, and even the secondary characters were interesting. I also loved the art in the book. It was nice and clean and just made the great story even better.

This world is our ship and not our home, but also sailing ships are the setting for the ultimate coolest stories, so maybe enjoy the adventure while we're here.
Things are finally starting to come together. As in the last chapter, all the preconceived notions that I had about where this part of the story was going to go were thrown out the window. Which is why it’s taking me even longer to write these things now.. Quite a bit of tug of war going on but man let me tell you, Donna is a bada$$! I love her!
