Drawfee Emblem - 1 / ?

For anyone who wants more Fire Emblem Awakening content (with fem!Robin specifically), the CD drama #2 is actually pretty good. I’ll link it down below. (There are actually four of these, but the second is the only one I’ve listened to rn. Here’s a link to a Reddit analysis of all four dramas: link).

I liked it a lot, and it’s short enough that you could listen/watch it all in one sitting. I say watch because it’s all in Japanese, but fear not! A creator on YouTube as kindly made visualizations to go along with an English translation in the style of FEA, making easy to follow along. Wish they did these in English, but to my knowledge these are Japanese only. Shame.

So, this takes place shortly after chapter 10 (aka Midmire), which should probably tell you everything you need to know about how everyone is holding up. There’s not a whole lot I can say without spoilers, but it was an intriguing listen and the acting is really good! Genuinely made me tear up in some places, and it was fun to see what they did with certain characters. Some of my favorite parts are definitely how they interact with and/or react to Robin in this one, as the main conflict is centered around her. This one features Chrom, Robin, Lissa, Frederic, Virion, Stahl, Gaius, and two others I’ll keep mum about ;)

summary: virion tries to impress you (and fails miserably)

virion is as strong as he looks. which is to say, he isn't very strong… 

still, that doesn't stop him from trying to impress you with his non existing strength. a gentleman carries a ladies bags and doesn't let her do the heavy lifting. but when said lady is stronger than the gentleman in question, it becomes a problem. 

virion really wanted to try and impress you by carrying your armor for you. but the moment you put it into his hands, he sank to the floor with it. he couldn't even lift it without panting heavily, eventually giving up on it all together and kindly asking you to carry it yourself…

I'm in a real Virion mood today. Do you have any headcannons for how he'd act with Morgan as his son? Maybe Morgan speaks a little French or has a jabot? At the same time it would be funny if Morgan is genuinely surprised to find out who his dad is. Poor Morgan is immediately whisked away to be taught the rules of etiquette.

This is a really interesting request because I don't think too much about the child characters in Awakening (even though I probably should, most of them are pretty great afaik). Still, thanks for your submission! Let's see... - I can imagine that the two have spent quite a lot of time bonding over chess when Morgan was younger. It's one of their favorite father-son activities. - Another thing I can totally see them doing is speak French to confuse Robin. Virion would make sure to include the language in his etiquette training, so they work a lot on pronunciation and word choice. Whenever they speak French in Robin's presence, whether it be for practice or to say things Robin shouldn't hear, it's always a blast for Morgan to see his mom's confused face. Related to this: Robin does understand a little bit of French due to being exposed to it quite often, but speaking it herself is quite the challenge. Virion and Morgan have tried to teach her, but she struggles immensely. The two try a lot less nowadays, but Robin is secretly practicing. - Because you mentioned Morgan finding out who his dad is: I like to think that Virion either knows he's Morgan's dad and teaches him etiquette quite often while Morgan is unaware he's his father until he finds out and finally has an explanation for Virion's insistence on teaching him, OR they are both unaware, get into arguments due to their different thoughts about etiquette (Virion valueing it immensely while Morgan doesn't really care), then later find out they are father and son and have an "Oh fuck" moment. I think that'd be really funny, maybe even oneshot-worthy. I love family fluff like this. ...I'm really getting into a fluff mood just thinking about this. I hope these are alright though! “Well, if we’re done talking politics. I think we should enjoy ourselves a little, huh?” Flavia said and then pointed in a direction. “Seems your tactician has been whisked away already.”  

It was true. Virion had somehow been able to take Kanon away from the group to dance with her. And Vaike and Kellam had dragged Jude away from them too. Chrom is surprised, but he wasn’t sure if Kanon was enjoying herself or not.

“When did-“

Lissa sighed. “You really didn’t notice? Oh wait, your eyes were glued to Sumia. Of course you didn’t.”

“Lissa..”

“I didn’t think Virion would ask her! I thought he’d ask Sully before Kanon!”

“Hey!” Sully said.

“She’s right.” Miriel added. Sully could only stare at her.

“You dance well, my lady.” Virion had finished dancing with Kanon and were talking off to the side. Though she looked like she felt out of place. “Is there something wrong?”

“Ah..No. Nothing.” She stammered out.

“Please. You can tell me anything.”

“W-well…One. I don’t remember ever dancing…and two…I..Don’t remember ever being in a party like this…”

Ah. Virion saw it now. She’s in a new situation and is getting overwhelmed. Maybe it is true she never experienced these things. After all, she had a reaction to the color pencils Jude gave her. So he had the honor of being her first experience.

“I see. Hmm. Nothing came to mind?”

“Huh?”

“Your memories.”

“O-oh…No. This is all strange to me. I guess I never…had a life like this.” She looked away somberly. This certainly isn’t a mood a Lady should be in. But what can he do?

“My dear Kanon..” He lifted her head up with his finger. “No need to look so sad. It may just take some time to remember events like this. Give it the rest of the night, Surely you will regain something then.”

“I..Maybe..It’s a possibility.”

Virion smiled. “I’m sure, as beautiful as you are at this moment, many will come to ask for your hand to dance. And the more you do, something will come to mind.”

“I guess we’ll see.”

“Would you like to dance again?”

“I…I’m fine for now.”
