Hey,this is 4 days too late,but OH.MY.GOD. Hi,hi,hi again! I'm the one that requested robber Bucky. Or Small World,as it's called now. Reading the story multiple times,the title really made me blushed and squealed 😣💕 And no,no,no! Please don't redo anything 🙏🏼❤ It's as perfect as perfect can be. I actually felt sorry for you that you did both bank & home robbery in the same fic cause double the work. But being the talented writer that you are,you managed to fit both of them in the same story and made it work and both of them fall perfectly into the context of the story. My brain could never lol. I would be sad if you redo it 😢 IT'S ONE OF THE MOST PERFECT THINGS I'VE EVER READ. And I'm glad to know that you wanted to do both instead of feeling pressured to do it and it would be a lot to write BUT OMG! You did it anyway! 😳 And in what,2 days? Have I told you you're talented? Probably a millionth times by now but you are so damn talented 🤯 Small World is ONE OF THE MOST PERFECT PIECE I'VE EVER READ AND YOU WROTE IT IN 2 DAYS?! I don't even know what kinks to sneak in my requests since I can't picture how the story would be (because I'm terrible at writing) but you filled in the gaps perfectly with your details and breathe life into it and I went thru a whirlwind of emotions at the plot twist and as the plot progresses. You are a genius! 👍🏻

Now about the story,I'm blushing! I'm blushing hard reading it,okay? ☺😳😭 It's so hot! Small World Bucky is seriously hot 🔥 He's just the right amount of soft and mean 😣💕 I'm in love with him! ❤😭 He doesn't even feel guilty at all that he took her,didn't he? For everything he did to her. And yet,I still feel sad when he got caught & taken away from reader while precious innocent little reader just waits for him to come home as usual (like a good little wife already) but he didn't 😭 My heart breaks reading how soft he's being with reader after he robbed (ha) her of her virginity,how he offered to be the breadwinner for them both (I know I requested this but it's still so cute seeing it come to life with your writings) & imagining their domestic life together afterwards- 🥺😭 I have a few headcanons of their domestic life together such as how excited Bucky was when he got his first paycheck from his new honest job because he wanted to treat his sweet little future wife as his new improved self to something nice,even as he's saving for that diamond ring he promised her. Or at least tried to because I can see reader refusing to let him treat her,because she only needs her Daddy's attention everyday,making Bucky's heart swelled for her more and refused harder to ever let her go. The second headcanon would be the kind of job he got. I imagine this soft dark robber Bucky would probably go for a job requires a lot of physical,so I imagined a construction worker or mechanic? Stereotypical,I know 😂 Again,I'm lame like that 😅 Idk if either of those paid well tho. Or is it a blue collar job? In an office? Because robber Bucky probably need intelligence or maybe know how to hack a bit here & there. Or maybe a security job? The third is the dates they go to. I know you wrote that Bucky excuses her out of her outdoor obligations which I understood to mean that he asked (demanded to quit her job) but since he improved himself,wants a marriage and the normal/regular domestic life with her (with the added dd/lg elements to it) that most couples have,he probably takes her out on dates as a start,right? It's not like she's gonna run away anyway,she's way in too deep in the stockholm syndrome and he's 100% aware of this. She doesn't even realize she's his captive this whole time. Ofc,this would be as months passed where they grew closer and reader starts to fall for him. Imagine they went on a carnival date where Bucky tries to win her a stuffie friend for Kiki,I could cry just imagining it 😭 The calm before the storm 😭💔

I can't hate Bucky at all in this. I just can't. He's so lovable even in his own fucked up ways. And may I add,roguely charming 💘🖤 Oh and funny too. I giggled at that scene where his cock kept sliding off and he just giggled and called her pussy a brat that needs taming 💀 Like the whole thing is a joking matter to him while Reader's fearing for her life lmao. There's so many things I can list off about this Bucky. You fleshed him out so well and so hauntingly beautiful,especially in his obssession with reader. And his determination to get her back no matter what. I can't imagine him going about his day working while daydreaming about coming home to his future wife like he usually does everyday and only to have a bunch of authorities showing up and seizing him (or worse,tackling him to the ground) and not letting him come home that day after all. Omg,I'm sobbing..... 😭 Seems like he misunderstood that reader's the one that reported him or maybe he has that paranoia lingering everyday during their domestic phase together that she one day would report him & escape him. He must've felt some kind of betrayal & held some kind of grudge for reader for thinking that she reported him while he's locked up in jail for some time while being perfectly aware that he's the one started all this in the first place 😂 Did he feel some kind of guilt at all? He let her come to the realization of everything and just let her speak while emotion passes over his face for a brief second. Is it guilt or is it because she realized and finally shook off her stockholm syndrome? That he's afraid she won't be compliant as before? That he would have a harder time to have that normal domestic couple life with her again now that she's fully aware that their domestic life together before wasn't just that,it was also him keeping her captive? I think it's the latter,I don't think he feels guilty and regrets anything he did to reader at all,he went to get her back after all. Reader definitely still loves him even after she realizes,she's not even putting up a fight and just let him take her,again. He'll cling to her for sure and will never let her out of his sight again in fear she would be taken away from him for a third time. Maybe they'll both cling to each other because Reader just misses him as much as he does her. Oh,he's definitely finally getting that diamond ring he promised her this time so she's truly his in name now. I can't tell where he would bring her to live this time tho to be off the radar and not getting caught by the police again.

Oh,can I also talk about the psychological aspect you smoothly incorporated into the story? It's genius! 🙌🏼 You're brilliant! 🙇🏻‍♀️ And heartbreaking on Bucky's part 🥲 Where she doesn't seem to remember him for a second Where her brain is trying to supress her memories of him and their time together because of that therapy since she took a while for everything to come back to her. She doesn't even remember his name or his face when Bucky pushed her to remember him 😭 I'M CRYING 😭😭😭 Man,that therapist must've been really good OMG. She literally NEEDED to see HIS FACE to finally remember EVERYTHING. To finally remember him. He was a bit mean with her at the bank but I can feel his heart breaking into a million pieces when Reader said "I don't know!". Which is another reason why I don't think this Bucky is dark DARK or outright fully mean. He's soft dark for sure. I don't think he really meant it when he said he's gonna cut her tongue out. I took it as he was just really angry and said it as an empty threat that he won't actually carry out because he still thought she reported him,went to therapy on her own and willingly made herself not remember him,willingly erase or suppress him from her memories. The way he did it is not gentle but I still felt my heart clench when he kept pushing her to just remember him by demanding her to say it's him while he roughfucks her. That part is angst to me,can I count that as angst? I feel like I got Stockholm Syndrome too since I seriously felt pity for Small World Bucky & wanted to protect and defend him lmao 💀

Honestly for me, sadly, it's the fandoms that have ruined other actors for me. Orrr more specifically, an actor (TC I'm sorry!). I was on twitter once a while back and pointed out the hypocrisy that his fans had when they needlessly dragged Tom in an extremely catty way that also made fun of his dyslexia. Two of those stans took issue with me pointing out this problem and continued to harass me, making new accounts to impersonate other people and to talk to me again. It was so disturbing, and these people were incredibly obsessed with TC to the point where it was just worrisome. I seriously concerned that they would try to hack into my account because of how harshly they spammed me with threats. It was just a big bummer of an experience because it was legitimate harassment (I reported it and at least two of their spare accounts were suspended, at least), but it put a huge, huge dampener on any kind of interest I had in seeing his projects or supporting his work.

And having kind of surveyed the twitter situation from afar for the past few years, I think the majority of the utterly rude hate for Tom does come from a bigger percentage of Tim's fans. With Tom, the toxic ones to Tim on twitter I can count on with one hand. But with Tim, the amount of his fans who truly detest Tom on an unreasonable level are really up there and it seems normalized among a pretty good amount of them (strictly speaking this is on twitter, I think the situation on tumblr is much different thankfully!). And the sad thing is that if I didn't have that experience with the harassment, I wouldn't have any strong feelings about TC one way or another, maybe I would have even come to like him. Now I can't look at him without thinking about the online harassment I received that honestly messed with my mental health for a bit. Stans that behave really inappropriately like that NEED to realize that even though they want to 'defend' their fave, what they are actually doing in some cases is turning others OFF to their work! Thankfully I have not been bothered since their accounts were suspended, and I certainly spend MUCH more time on tumblr than twitter these days which is so much more positive for my headspace, but I really urge fans of all actors to BE KIND most of all.

It really shifted my fandom experience to find this corner of the internet, things are so much more balanced and reasonable on tumblr compared to twitter, it feels very healthy and fun to follow things here. I think the word count on tumblr makes a big difference, here it's more about deep thoughts than just quick one liners!

First of all Anon, can I just say??? I am SO sorry to read what you went through with re: to Timmy's fans. I'll just say right from the outset that online bullying and threats are NEVER okay. 😤

Idk why some fandoms feel like they have to be so unhinged like this. 🥴 If it's getting to the point where you feel the need to have to bully someone or make threats towards them online, then hun....you need to either STOP stanning whoever you're stanning, or take some LOOONG breaks away from social media, because I promise you, it is NEVER that deep. 🤨

I don't even think Timmy (or any of these actors for that matter) would feel happy that some of their fans are attacking people like that online on their behalf. 😔

Thank you for sharing your story Anon... I am SO glad that you're now doing so much better now that you've left Twitter and stay mostly on Tumblr now. 🥰

In regards to your feelings about Timmy....I'll say that you're definitely not alone. I know some other fellow fans of Tom have felt completely turned OFF from Timmy simply (and largely in part) due to his FANDOM. I know not all Timmy fans are like this (of course not), but based on what I've been hearing from others, it seems that for some reason, there's a large segment of his fandom who IS like this towards Tom or Tom fans. 😔 Honestly? I think a lot of it goes back to the fact that they both auditioned for Spiderman. Maybe some of Timmy's fans feel threatened by the fact that Tom got the role over Timmy?? Idk.... 🤷🏾‍♀️

Against my BETTER judgement, I took a little gander at Twitter sometime after Ep 8 aired, and I just did a search on Tom's name in tweets, and BOY was THAT a mistake.... 😒🙄🤦🏾‍♀️ I totally understand what fans mean by Tom gets way more hate on Twitter than most actors in his age range. I even did a search on Timmy's name just for comparison.

Granted, I don't think Timmy is in the same fame/popularity bracket as Tom, but it was just interesting to see the stark contrast. While most tweets were about sightings, thirst tweets, pics, fan encounters, filming news, upcoming projects, and other random postings for Timmy, with Tom ,it seemed like a lot of the tweets were jokes/memes at his expense, film bros hating on him, random jokes regarding Tom and Zendaya, and just overall IMMATURITY honestly.🙄

It was very heartbreaking to see. 😭

I think the hate on Tom is actually very multi-faceted, and that's what makes it somewhat unique. I mean, ALL actors/celebrities get hate at some point or another...that's just an unfortunate part of the business. 🥴😔 But I think with Tom, the hate on him comes from SO many different angles, and I think that's why fans seem to feel it more.

There's the hate coming from:

Twitter Film Bros

People who hate on Tom simply because of jealousy and the fact that he's so popular and successful

Tomdaya Antis who don't like Tom and Zendaya together

Zendaya Stans who DON'T like Z with Tom

People in the GP who just don't like him for whatever reason 🙄

Spider-Man fans who ONLY like Tobey

Spider-Man fans who ONLY like Andrew

Spider-Man fans who ONLY like Tobey OR Andrew

Timmy Chalamet Stans who hate on Tom with a vengeance for some reason 🙄

Members of the gp who think he's too "ugly", "too short", too "WHATEVER....

People who just don't like Marvel films PERIOD lol

Immature fans/meme-generators who just use Tom's name for likes and clicks in order to be "funny" or go "viral" on Twitter 🙄

Have I missed anyone?? 😅🤣

Anyway.... I think THIS is why the hate is so prevelant...It seems to be coming from ALL angles, and I honestly don't know if any other actor (in our generation at least) has ever had to deal with this level of hate before....at least, not on a social media level. 😔 I'm pretty sure this is probably one reason why he got rid of social media.

So yea, it's very sad.... 😭 Why do you think I stay away from Twitter MOST of the time?? It's because, it's VERY negative, and I don't need that energy disturbing my spirit and positive vibes. 😌

I know I sound like a broken record, but I still urge fans to PLEASE stop going on Twitter..... Ignore that nonsense. People are immature on that app, and they run jokes into the GROUND.

We can't control what people say or do unfortunately, but if you DO see something that seems to really just cross the line on that app, definitely report it!

Anyway, sorry for this long dissertation Anon...If you made it this far, I hope you are now in a better place. 🥰

The last thing I will say is, please don't allow immature Timmy fans/or other fandoms to ruin you of enjoying an actor's work. You have to separate the actor from his fans. It might even be a good idea to just watch the work and ignore the fandom(s). 🤷🏾‍♀️

idk if you've answered something like this…you probably have, i'm sorry 😭 but i was curious about how you tackle a fic? you write exactly how i'd like to!! you have chapters that are a perfect length and a good amount of them each fic (hopefully this doesn't sound like an insult??? not that i'm against longer fics either, i love them!! but idk if i could ever write that much 🙏 bless authors that do! maybe i will one day LOL)

i think i mostly struggle with plotting. i have a general idea of what i want to do and some scenes i'd like to happen but idk how to put things together? how does one get from point a to point b? 🤯 don't feel pressured to answer btw!!

but really i love love love your stuff!!! your fics are always funny and a good time! and the way you write the reader character is one of my favorites because i feel the most connection with them 💕 i've read and re-read all you do and i'm just a fan and i hope you're always taking care of yourself

Hello my love!! Sorry for sitting on this one for a bit, I wanted to wait until I had the time to give it the attention it deserves!!

I think everyone works differently, but I will share with you the thing that has helped me in trying to connect all the plot points for my own fics. I hope it helps you too, but no worries if it doesn't!!

So, if you work for a corporation (or a start up that licks the boots of corporations like I do), you may have encountered the "Working Backwards" doc. The "Working Backwards" ideology is some corporate obnoxiousness that originated at Amazon, and basically advocates for starting any initiative by imagining the goal state and only then attempting to find a path back to a problem's starting conditions.

I use this so constantly at work it has become second nature and has poisoned my fic-planning process as well lol.

In fic terms, working backwards means imagining how you'd like the fic to end, specifically in terms of what you want your main character to achieve. Where will they be, what goal will they have accomplished, who will be with them. From there, you think of the key factors in what will help them accomplish those goals--what will have had to happen to enable the ending to happen? And from there, you think of what would have needed to happen to enable those key factors to resolve, etc.

To throw up a low-stakes example from one of my fics, I wanted the reader from savvy to ace her final marketing project. In order to do that, Bakugou needed to agree to her marketing plan. In order to do that, there were a couple possibilities--he could have made a bet with her and lost, he could have come around to the idea because he liked her that much (LOL), or--what I went with--he made her a promise in a heated moment to get her to trust him. To enable the heated moment, I had to dredge up a silly villain, and to give reader a reason to encounter that villain, I made her tag along to Bakugou's internship. So in terms of your question, I did not work from point a to point b, but rather from point e to d to c to b to a.

This method can be kind of unsatisfying though, if you already have some loose scenes in mind that might not gel with your final conditions or overall plot structure. In those cases, you might try to tetris them in there somehow, or adapt them to fit the narrative you've just come up with.

Sometimes you may also be forced to sideline them. I do this a lot, where I have some scenes in my head, and I keep them on stand-by in a notes doc until a fic comes around that fits them, and then I shoehorn them in there lol.

Anyway, this method might not work for everyone, and no worries if it doesn't work for you!! But I hope this helps even a little bit, as basic and as corporate-shill as this answer is!!

As a prompt: Percy comes back home to find that little Emmy did a makeover to Nico giving him surprisingly well done pigtail buns (like a small bun in each side) and glittery make up on his face, resulting in a brain melt on Percy's part. Since you're going to hit us with angst tsunami these days, I figured I could ask for some fluff, possibly ending with some spice ? Percy s just a simp for any style change Nico makes. Dude's basically a model, can pull off anything. Now I got images of him cosplaying Jojos, pose and all. 🤯 man, think of the potential.

Percy has been used to chaos since before he found out he was a demigod.

When teachers hate you, stuff explodes unexpectedly, and strangers and weird creatures no one notices look at you with scorn and try to kill you all your life, you have to just learn to take it in and work with what you have.

Still, he didn't expect to see his four year old little boy running and hugging him as soon as he opened the door, trembling in fear.

"Da, she got pa! She got pa!" Asher cried, burying his face against Percy's pant leg. "She's coming for me next!"

Percy blinked, his first instinct was to reach for his sword, but he didn't want to scare his son further.

"What happened?" He asked, trying to keep his cool despite the fear gripping at his heart. "What happened to your papa? Where's your sister?"

"In her room!" He wailed, still terrified. "I said no, and pa took my place!"

Percy's panic started to fade as he realized the 'she' that got Nico was none other than their daughter.

"What did she do this time, Ash?" He asked, resisting the urge to laugh at his youngest.

"She asked grandpa for weird paints and brushes, and he brought them today!" He explained, stumbling over his words. "She wanted to use them on me, and, and—"

"So it was Hades," he said, chuckling. "It's okay Ash, you can always say no, your papa and I will stand by you when you do."

He lifted him and sat him down on the couch. He went to the stairs.

"You're going in?!" his son asked, scandalized.

Percy nodded.

"I have to see the damage," he explained. "Emmy might be good at painting on paper, but I doubt your papa makes a good canvas."

Asher just hid on the couch, making Percy roll his eyes. Asher could look a zombie in the eye and order him to dance ballet, but was scared of his sister painting on his face.

He opened the door, expecting to see Nico looking like an art project, with splotches of red, blue and green all over his face.

What he found instead was that Asher really needed to expand his vocubulary.

The 'paint' Hades had bought his little princess had been make up, and the brushes were actual, professional grade, combs and clips. Just what was Hades thinking?

But the biggest surprise was his husband. Despite being 6, Emilia had a good taste in colors and conbinations, having picked colors that accentuated Nico's face (though with excessive amounts of glitter), and a lipstick that made his already full lips look even meatier and shinier. His nails had been done in a dark blue that almost looked black and his hair... gods, his hair had been done in pigtails that just added to the whole picture.

"Hey there," he managed to say stupidly. Nico glared at him.

"Laugh and you'll be going to Father's place," he said, mindful of their daughter's presence, and Percy knew he couldn't tell him how the makeover actually made him feel.

"I would never," he said in a posh voice, making Emilia giggle. "You're the prettiest boy around, Ni!"

"He is, isn't he?" Emilia said in wonder. "Papa said I was too young for this, so I wanted to show him I could do this by trying it on him."

"Turns out, my father is not a complete lunatic," Nico sighed. "Emilia told him she wanted to work on a salon and make people pretty. He made her promise not to use it on herself until she's older."

Percy sighed in relief. Truth was, Nico's makeover was making his mind a little sluggish. He hadn't even considered the implications of a six year old wanting to use makeup.

He turned to his daughter.

"Well, your first job was a success, sweetie," he said honestly. "Your papa looks fantastic!"

Nico grimaced, but nodded all the same.

"If your dad says he likes it, then it must be true," he said. "Besides, I only want to look pretty for him."

Emilia giggled again and hugged him.

"I know that!" she said. "Now can I try on Ashy?"

"No," Percy said at the same time as his husband. He knelt down. "Your brother doesn't want to, and you have to respect that."

"What if I show him how papa turned out? The he'd want to!"

Nico pinched his brow, but nodded.

"You can try," he said. "But remember if he says no, it means no, Emmy."

"I know, papa," she droned before running out of the room, shouting, "Ashy, I'm done! Papa looks so pretty!"

Nico stood up to follow her, only to be caught by Percy, who grabbed his arm and pinned him against the wall.

"Percy, what are you doing?" He hissed, glancing at the door.

"I... may have discovered I have a thing for pigtails," he said, voice husky. "More to grab, you know?"

Nico gulped, his pupils dilating at his husband's suggestion.

"I... I could keep this a little longer..." he muttered.

"The lipstick too?" Percy asked hopefully, fingers wrapping around Nico's belt loops.

"I—"

"Papa!" Emilia cried from the stairs. "Ashy need to see you!"

"Coming!" Nico said, shoving Percy away. Percy sighed in disappointment, but Nico looked at him. "This is father's fault."

Percy blinked.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"He bought Emilia that salon kit," he said. "So he won't mind the kids staying the night at his palace, maybe dolling him and Persephone up."

Percy got it immediately. He gave Nico a lascivious smirk.

"I love how you think, Love," he said.

"Papa!"

"I'm on my way, Principessa!"

1 - Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride?

That's tough, cause it depends. If we're talking which of my fics is the wildest in terms of imagery and subject matter, then I'd go with In No Mood for Games. It's a demon!dean x reader fic and it's one of the dirtiest fics I've ever written (besides maybe I Warned You) and it kind of went far out of my comfort zone, which was the whole point to me writing it. I still have a fair amount of shyness deep down when it comes to writing smut, so I joined the AFK Bingo as a way to write away my shyness when it comes to writing smut. 😊

But in terms of wildest emotional ride, I think that has to be Green is My Favorite Color (and it's sequels) just because over a series, of course, there are so many emotions, and since this one is canon-adjacent, it definitely has LOTS of feels and fluff. 😊

Huh...nope can't not ramble. 🙄😏

2 - Do you listen to music while you write? What song have you been playing on a loop lately?

I actually don't listen to ANYTHING when I'm writing. I need silence. Lol! If there's noise in the background when I'm trying to write, I put white noise on in my headphones. I'm really weird like that. 🤷‍♀️Music definitely inspires me and gives me ideas about what I want to write. But when it comes to actually doing the work, I need to be able to completely fall into the story I'm writing and have no distractions of any kind.

As to what song I'm listening to on a loop, it's pretty much the whole Radio Company concert on a loop, with extra listens to Watching Over Me and Any Way That You Want Me. 😁

3 - Pick a character, and I'll tell you my favorite headcanon for them. -> Soldier Boy, please

I don't know if I could call it my favorite headcanon, cause it's pretty awful, but I believe it completely:

When he's in the cryotube, he is almost constantly plagued by nightmares, reliving the torture he endured yes, but also reliving all the times he killed someone innocent.

When SB is fighting he's reckless and power mad, kind of just out of it (I mean, specifically, before he was given to the Russians) but I don't think he ever means to actually hurt innocent bystanders. Consciously he's put on this laissez-faire, who cares , what can I do about it attitude (like his smarmy little "which one" when MM tells him, "you killed my family.")

But I think the guilt lingers in his subconscious. We see it just briefly when he's talking to Hughie and says, "I didn't mean to hurt those people." I think after all that time in the cryotube, his subconscious guilt is closer to the surface when it comes to that kind of thing. Of course now, he's exploding whole buildings, so that guilt has to be growing. And, I think, when he's in the cryotube that pain and guilt is where he lives most of the time. I think it's one of the main reasons he was so panicky about going back there, it's not just sleep - it's endless nightmares.

And some people may think he's earned it, but I just don't. I think there are VERY few who people who do deserve something like that. I think if you want people's attitudes and mindsets to change, they have to be taught, and allowed to grow. Which is something Ben has never been given the opportunity to do. His upbringing, society in his era, and then forty years of torture, kept him from being allowed to grow and let his social values change as a result.

Sorry, I'll get off my SB soapbox. 😁 *Makes a note to get back into the swing of my series Let Me See Inside.* Ugh, I hate when our muses just decide to abandon us when we need them! 😄

4 - What's a genre you struggle with as a writer (ex. romance, action, etc.)?

I really only write in the genre of romance (well, pretty much) but I'll tell you what SCENES I struggle the most to write, and that's action scenes. It can be SO hard to make everything clear to the reader. I see exactly what's happening, but sometimes conveying that sequence of events can be REALLY hard for me. 😄 I'm always terrified I'm leaving readers scratching their heads, completely confused where everyone is situated, and wondering wtf is going on. 😜

Well, I'm so sorry for my unabridged, rambling, meandering thoughts. But thank you so much for the ask, my lovely. It's always fun to think about and talk about writing and our favourite stories and characters. 😘

PTS 7.1 annihilation / watchman

gonna go over some things I have personally noticed on the PTS for 7.1 for the annihilation marauder and watchman sentinel disciplines as there are some things that made me go 👀

I will try to make this coherent so that even people who don’t play anni get this as long as you sorta know how marauders tend to work like though I'll try to explain some stuff for context. i say this but it'll still make no sense lol

wrote this before the new iteration of the pts came out today, no idea if anything changed bc i don’t have the time to check.

anyway, posting it under the cut, it’s honestly way too long

hemorrhage / plasma blades tooltip

so shortly after 7.0 launched there’s already been some early datamined stuff for 7.1 - in particular i saw a spreadsheet that included some changes to certain abilities/utilities’ tooltips and from what I heard some of it actually went live since then even? not too sure now.

either way, to explain what the hemorrhage passive does, here’s its current tooltip description:

the important part to focus on is the last sentence; that’s some self healing! anyway;

this ^ is the tooltip for hemorrhage now on the pts (and this was also in the very early 7.1 datamined stuff I mentioned). what could this mean? are they removing anni heals?

after a quick test (really didn’t require any deep look on that one lol) I’m still most definitely doing basically the same amount of healing as on live.

need to point out that plasma blades, the watchman mirror for the passive still has the text about healing included on the pts. of course discrepancies between the supposedly mirror disciplines are not a new thing at all, anni and watchman literally have that on live right now with blood fury / burning zen for example.

either way i’m gonna lean towards the new hemorrhage tooltip being some kinda mistake or a leftover of the devs considering removing anni heals but dedicing to just get rid of aoe dr instead. or at least that’s my working theory but honestly who fucking knows lol, but like they would definitely include this in a dev post if they were to remove something like that anyway heh.. maybe in 7.2 🤯

blood fury / burning zen

ok, so this the one main thing I wanted to talk about, but i wanna explain some stuff first.

blood fury is one of the three utility choices you can make once you’re level 43. besides that, there’s also furious power (a rotational ability back in 6.X, now rendered useless as we don’t have the descent of the fearless set bonus) and then theres a choice called bleeding center, the latter of the two actually being the usually recommended choice for that level - what it does is that when one of your dots critically hit you build 2 fury, even during berserk - this is very very handy as annihilation currently wants to have berserk (an ability that becomes available once you get 30 stacks of fury which you build by using rage spending abilities) up for use before force rend (one of anni’s dots) come off cooldown, since now it will do 4x more damage on the initial hit if berserk is also active (it’s like a 40-50k hit - thats a lot of damage at once for a dot spec)

so if burning center tends to often be the recommended choice, why am I talking about blood fury?

simple as - it’s a dps increase. the reason people don’t always recommend it is because it makes the rotation harder to manage and its not viable on fights with a lot of target swapping for example, as you won’t be be able to build your fury stacks as fast and you might end up having force rend off cooldown before berserk becomes available, meaning you have to either delay it or use it without the buff, which is something you should avoid. but as an anni main that loves high parsing numbers this won’t stop me from taking it to a lot of fights (same for a whole lot of other anni maras out there ofc). plus i actually quite like the additional difficulty it introduces to anni, since with the dispatcher’s challenge legendary implant it no longer really has rage issues as much, so blood fury is like a bit of additional fun.

ok, so anyway, there are some interesting things to note about blood fury:

1) first off, “effect cannot occur more than once per second” my ass. happens on each hit with your weapons. you know how the ravage ability is like several hits on the target with both of your lightsabers in just one gcd? yeahh, you get a whole bunch of blood fury hits from it

of course, when people noticed this discrepancy, the question was; so what is the intended effect here? the way it works on anni or watchman? lot of people assumed that the way it is on watchman is the intended effect but it’s not like we couldn’t be sure...

2) and now the funny part - on live there’s currently a discrepancy between how blood fury works on annihilation marauder vs how it works on watchman sentinel (called burning zen there). so what exactly happens is; blood fury only occurs during berserk - when you use berserk, you get 6 charges of it - over the course of a few seconds those charges are consumed by your dots (aka “bleeds” on anni) that are on the target and berserk makes it so they are a crit hit. however - on annihilation, blood fury hits don’t consume berserk charges, but hits of burning zen DO eat berserks (called “zen” on watchman), which... isn’t really something you want. god forbid you pop zen one gcd early and place blade barrage in there, which is all nice and well on annihilation, but on watchman say bye bye to your buffed force melt because your zen charges will be eaten by barrage lmao.

anyway, great news! there’s a new addition to the blood fury / burning zen tooltip on the pts server:

turns out it is not supposed stacks of berserk! and after testing, it does work properly on both disciplines too this time.

but to my surprise, this wasn’t all! I decided to try some parsing on the pts despite my ping being less than ideal. and suddenly my crit is way higher? WELL - as it turns out, blood fury is now an autocrit too! and this actually makes sense - since it’s labeled as bleed damage it means it should technically also be a crit like the other dots are in the berserk window, and it actually does that right now on watchman on live too - I just never noticed since the fact that the charges get consumed so quickly renders it useless and mostly a dps loss despite the crit.

so yeah, it might do even more damage. I’ve only done a few parses on the pts, but I was able to get even 1k dps increase out of blood fury alone so far and was able to hit 31k dps on the dummy without too much trouble (still one of my luckier parses though, its not like every parse on live i do is 30k). i’m tempted to play around with it more but my ping on the pts really isnt the greatest. on parsely.io there’s someone who was able to do 31.8k even - unsure whether they weren’t able to farm some of the new gear tiers already though.

but either way - top parse on live right now is 31.1k, blood fury making up ~1k of that damage there. doesn’t seem unlikely that you could then parse 32k with annihilation if blood fury will amount for double the dps it does now, so I wonder what kinda implications could this have. would be hilarious if all the former anni players who switched to fury at the start of 7.0 would now switch back bc it can suddenly parse really high (though it depends on just how big the upcoming fury nerf affects its overall dps - and again, not every anni plays with blood fury)

Had Ethiopian, finished One Piece and I have no idea what is happening in life

Yes, the plan is now to leave in 1.5 years, but so much happens on a weekly basis now, I have no idea what life has in store

We went to Selam today and had wonderful Ethiopian food, then finished up with some boba from Uptown.

We discussed how the remaining time in Chicago will total to around 3 years, which is the same amount of time we were in 300, and Aprille was in 320.

With the absolutely insane amount of stuff that has happened in the last 1.5 years, I have no idea how slow/quick the next 1.5 years will pass. I’m excited, yes, but I am also just 🤯 because the remaining time could have in store some insane changes.

We finished the live action One Piece (truly a fun show) and it’s the first live action adaptation that I want to see more of. I think the manga/anime was kooky from jump which is why the live action works so well – most other live actions take theme selves too seriously and end up being cringy.

Part of the appeal of the show is the idea of finding your family and exploring the world together with them. We talked about its parallel with Eden of the East and ATLA, among others, in exploring this theme of family.

It’s not at all a blocking issue, but I do think it would be incredible to meet some more of our family before we completely untether. Maybe we’ll meet them out in the world after we untether, too. I’m open to it all – I think we just want to meet them and enjoy that experience.

Miss Lucky #Penny needed a cleanout in addition to a diet. 270g of Penny is far too much Penny for any human or hamster so we are working on that. When Hamdad and I got sick over the holidays I preemptively dumped a large amount of food in everyone's bins and it seems that is was definitely enough go keep Penny fed while I was down for the count... And then some 🤭.

Penny is a better weight at around 230g so we are working to help her slim down. She's already lost a few grams which is good. Next on my list of hamsters who require diets are Indy (253g today 🤯), Sprite and Piña who are both around 240g.

A large part is genetics, but my dump feed method while we were sick is almost certainly the culprit. Hamdad and I both ended up sick with covid, which meant we stayed extra hands off the hammies. I wanted to ensure no one went without to keep them safe and to also cover my butt if I was knocked down with being unwell. It helped but also clearly made for some challenges with some of the girls who were already a bit prone to being chonkers, so we will work that out.

Generally what I do for these ladies is reduce or eliminate their mix, offer high quality blocks, add in flower forage from @priderockblooms, provide plenty of fresh veggies, up the chews, enrichment and bedding, and encourage more playpen or free roam time to get their bodies moving. Sometimes simply changing the style of their wheel helps too (I have bucket wheels, ECP wheels, silent spinners, silent runners and a couple saucers for variety) as it's new and novel.

This has worked for me and the hammies in the past. I'll be cleaning out the three other girls mentioned above this week to Kickstart their diets and clear out old stashes of mix and snackos. Sorry ladies. 🙈
