“Floyd, could you sing to me?”

The big brother looked up from where he was tucking the blanket under Branch’s feet. “Sure thing,” he said with a light smile. “What would you like to hear? A lullaby?”

“I don’t know,” Branch mumbled as he nestled his head into the pillow. “You choose.”

Floyd could still see a crease of worry between his baby brother’s brows. He softly brushed a thumb over it in a silent reassurance that everything was going to be okay before he turned around to reach for their dad’s old guitar.

I think Floyd would often sing to Branch to get him to fall asleep, usually the songs and lullabies their parents sang when the older four were still little.

I know in the movie it seemed like they all left right after their fight, but I like to imagine that they just stormed off to cool off and that they actually left in the following days. And that this was the last song Floyd sang for Branch that night. :')

#tf2 #lil pootis #medimedes #...and a shamos from mh:w #anyway listen medimedes gave me so much trouble the entire time I'm making him #not only he was a massive pain in the ass that didnt let me form him easily #after his paintjob the spray paint fucked me over #took me three repaints to get him to top condition #the good news is the spray paint gives him this... fuzzy texture #so while pootis is smooth asf medimedes feel fuzzy ish in comparison!#the... glasses was also a challenge but nothing a wire extracted from a ribbon cant fix!

look guys I'm gonna be honest--i love dogs but the tactile experience of petting a cat is better 99% of the time. Cat fur is so much softer and less greasy and just generally better than most dog fur. IDK if there's some ideal chinchilla dog out there that I have yet to lay hands on but man, dog fur textures are whack. Cats, at least when they're healthy, are so reliably smooth and silky.

#i do love dogs but the sensory experience is far from my preference #i mean a clean well kept dog can be fine but they get so greasy so fast #i love them your honor but i have to wash my hands #dont get me wrong here i will pet every dog and i will have a good time #but its not cause they feel good its cause i love em #cats tho? want to stick my fface in the belly fluff #for texture reasons. and i do do that

some simple (but plentiful!!!) sprites for you all today. just some outfit swaps! the alpha kids did not get nearly enough cool outfits, so i decided to see what they'd look like with some modified beta kid outfits. some look decent, but others look very nice! i also did it the other way around too, because whynot.

Do your ocs have like bean paws? I don’t think they have them on their hands, but what about their feet? Sorry if it’s a bit weird!

They do have paw pads on their hands and feet! This is just a quick messy sketch but hopefully it sort of illustrates the look I personally go for with my anthros.

#in my head the texture of the pads corresponds human palms and soles #I just feel like it'd be very inconvenient if they were as hard and rough as some dogs have #grabbing stuff effectively would be very tricky not to mention any work that requires precision and delicate touch #dexterity and fine motor skills would suffer #my characters can be drawn with either plantigrade or digitigrade feet it varies by piece #but since it's very difficult to put shoes on the latter and I like to play dress up #my dogs usually sport the plantigrade form that is more compatible with human garments #Vaschete lore #answered #anonymous

#ask to tag #blood #blood painting #creatures #i get a lot of nosebleeds i thought id give blood painting a try #it was weird i never feel sick or weird at all from the sight of blood #and i didnt really while painting this but i felt kinda like i was going to feel sick?#if that makes sense #so im prob not gonna do this again unfortunately #idk if it was the smell or the texture of it as it clotted #ive gotten sick at the sight of blood exactly once before when id accidentally squeezed a bunch of blood out of a blister #got super nauseous and p much expirienced all the symptoms of a panic attack minus any actual feeling of anxiety or panic #just the physical stuff #weird
