i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

Don’t go

Warnings: anxiety

Note: even though the title sounds sad, I assure you it’s not

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

It was an ordinary day-

Well… what is ordinary for them

Students always get ‘expelled’ if they’ve done something wrong or have not turned in schoolwork on time

It scared most of the staff members, but the ones that have worked there most of their life weren’t bothered by it

Y/n always had a panic attack before entering the school building and going to her position as a teacher

She was scared for the children’s life and her own life too

~Y/n waits for everyone to arrive

Anxiety filling her up again because she knew some kids would be late

Someone enters the room

“Oh my bad! I thought this was the room I was covering” the man says

Y/n looks at him

He was a very attractive man, and also a complete stranger

“Sir you don’t work here” Y/n says and he frowns

“Are you sure I don’t?” The man asked her and she nods her head

“You must be mistaken… no worries! It’s my first day so I assumed some sort of mix up would happen” he says and she was confused

“What’s your name sir?” She asked him

“John Smith” John said and she stands up and walks towards him

Once she stood close enough, she reaches out her hand for a handshake

“Welcome ro hell” she whispers that part as he shook her hand

“Oh come on! It can’t be that bad here!” He says and she sighs

She felt her panic attack coming back

“Are you alright?” He asked her

She couldn’t say anything

Her legs were shaking like crazy and fear was draining her

“Hey I’m also a Doctor” he says and she smiles

“That’s reassuring” she says and he goes into her mind

He could see all the children vanishing from their classes from getting something wrong

“GET OUT!!!!” She shouts at him and suddenly he was blocked out of her head

Tears left her eyes and she goes over towards her desk and sat down once she was in front of it

The Doctor was shocked

“I’m so sorry you’ve been through all of that… I know what it’s like to loose family too” The Doctor says as she sobs

A robot enters the room

“Is everything alright in here?” The robot asked the Doctor

The Doctor looks at the robot

“Everything is fine” The Doctor says and the robot nods his head and leaves the classroom

The Doctor looks back at her

“Don’t lie. I don’t like liars” she says and looks away from him completely

“Do you know about the war between Gallifrey and the Daleks?” He asked her

“I do actually” she says and he smiles a bit

“Oh my god- you’re the last survivor…” she says in shock and faces him again

“I knew you would know what I’m talking about considering you’ve always have been fascinated by unknown planets” he says and she found herself more calmed down than before

“You could show me the stars” she says and stood up quickly

“I could” he says and she walks towards him

Once she was close enough to him, she asked if he had a sonic

The Doctor pulls it out and she was in aw

“This is incredible- your incredible” she says and their eyes met each other’s

A robot enters the room

“Mr Smith your class awaits you” the robot spoke and they both looked at it

“Right! I’ll be there in a second” The Doctor says and looks back at her

Y/n looks back at the Doctor

“Alright” the robot spoke and walks off

“You did something to the robots” she says

“Of course I did! I also figured out where the children were vanishing too. Also their safe now no need to get all worked up about them” he says

“How do you do it Doctor?” She asked him

“I honestly ask myself that same question sometimes” he says and she chuckles

Their was a minute of silence after the chuckle

“I should get going then” he says and she frowns

“You’ll see me again don’t worry” he says and she smiles

She kisses him on the lips

He was shocked but he returns the kiss

She pulls apart soon and could see his blush

“I’ll see you soon Mr Smith” she says and he smiles and nods his head

The Doctor leaves the classroom and Y/n was left fangirling over the fact she had kissed the Doctor
