Kaeya
Distantly, he remembers an old saying from Crepus, in response to his question-- "Why do people drink so much?"
"Well... Alcohol doesn't solve anything, but it can make you forget questions you'd rather not think about."
He understood that as he got older. Why stress, and think about things he could not control? ... Well, maybe he should deal with them, but that's easier said than done when his entire life was on the line. Every night, in the tavern, he drank to forget. Not that he'd admit that to anyone.
And, somehow, he had forgotten more than he'd like to admit. On his lap, a beautiful woman, and he was tugged to a back closet of the Angel's Share. She tasted sweet, like wine and sugar. If it wasn't for an intruder, ( despite the fact that he was the one intruding into staff-only area ) he likely would have had a far better time, to completely lose himself in his inebriation.
"K-Kaeya!" Uh oh, as his vision focused, he could see Diluc's unmistakable silhouette, with that fluffy red hair and broad shoulders. "You," he pointed to the woman, "Out." The woman, not wanting to envoke the wrath of Sir Ragnvindr, running out immediately. But, Diluc didn't let Kaeya out, not that he was fighting to get out. Instead, he walked closer.
"What have you done?" he asked, voice low and full of rage. However, Kaeya could only smile,
"What do you mean, Master Ragnvindr?" He asked, all sly.
"You cheater," he snapped, "You do know that wasn't your partner? The one you swore yourself to? They were just looking for you, you know." He was nearly yelling, forcing his voice low...
And that, that idea, the realization of everything hit him harder than even the biggest bomb's that Klee had ever made. He... did.
"Look," The world was no longer warm an fuzzy, just a little shift away from his normal reality, everything crashing down. The thoughts that haunted him when you slept so peacefully in his arms, when he would see the knights laughing and smiling together, the ever-haunting knowledge that he was alone amongst them...
The way only you did not have that odd look in your eye, of wonder upon seeing something unique, or of something alien that terrified... You only looked at him as what he wished to be seen-a person.
And here he went, fucking it all up.
"Look," he said again, tears in his eye, "You, you can't tell anyone," He all but snapped at Diluc, who's eyes widened in shock, "I-I wouldn't tell if you did it, you have to do the same for me," he promised, desperately trying to think of what to do...
"Kaeya, this isn't about me, this is about you and-and them," Diluc didn't even need to say the name, "You're better than this, I won't tell, but only if you do."
Kaeya's brows furrowed, he wasn't used to feeling so... betrayed. Normally, it was expected, but this... but this was different! Wasn't it...?
"It has nothing to do with you, I... I can deal with it on my own, 'Luc." He insisted, straightening out his back. He was only a tiny bit taller than Diluc, but he wanted to hold it over him, to prove he wasn't going to let him use him over his... his mistake.
"Kaeya," his voice was... softer. Kaeya didn't want to hear this voice, this consoling voice. Not after everything, not... not like this!
"Fuck off, Diluc," he snapped, pushing him to the wall as he stormed out, "You made it clear you want nothing to do with me, don't try now. Not like this," he demanded, seeing Diluc look at him, eyes wide... shocked.
"Fine. Get out and don't come back." Diluc hissed, voice much lower, his eyes glazed over. Kaeya almost wanted to yell at him, to keep fighting... But, no, no, he didn't. He couldn't do that here, not when he was too desperate to figure out what to do, leaving through the front of Angel's Share, slamming the door behind him.
And he ran. He didn't know why, he wasn't headed home, but he just... he felt like he was running from his mistakes, the wind biting at his face, until he finally skidded into an alleyway, his back against the wall, his hand put up to his mouth, biting at the base of his thumb to stifle the sobs that wanted to burst from his chest. It hurt, oh, it hurt, but it felt... right, it felt like he should hurt, his teeth clasping harder onto his hand, tears rolling from his eye as he roughly breathed through his nostrils, his brain desperately trying to figure out what to do, what to say, what to think... But it all only ended up in a jumbled mess, of black and red and tears and crying.
He didn't know how long he sat there, but by the time he stopped biting his hand, it felt... hot, for some reason, and as he looked at his hand...
Red. Bite marks. His teeth had sunk in so deep, his skin was broken and reddened and bloody. He couldn't even feel the pain, like when the burning fire had turned to grey, dead embers... he felt nothing, his own bodily sensations distant in an odd way.
He doesn't even know why, but upon seeing his blood ooze from his flesh, he swing his fist towards the brick, hearing it clatter against it. He stared at his hand, pulling off his glove to stare, dazed, at his busted knuckles.
Holding his fist close to his chest, he finally walked home.
If I don't tell them, he thought, I can live with it. I've lived with worse. I live with worse.
He didn't want to.
But he did that-he cheated. He cheated on the one person that could make everything feel okay, like he never hurt anyone, like he wasn't from a distant corrupt land, like he wasn't the monster he was told to be.
Should he say it? Tell directly?
...
It wouldn't matter if he told immediately or in a week. He-he trusted you'd understand, he could... He could figure it out. He just, his brain was both sinking and floating, drunk yet sober, he wasn't in his own body right about now. He was somewhere gone, and he couldn't be making any decisions.
Shambling his way home, he opened the front door... And hesitated, listening. Looking. You weren't in eyeshot or earshot, so... He could wrap up his hand before he gave everything away, or at least, his temper tantrum of sorts. He rummaged around before finding that small first aide kit, cleaning the wounds of his own cause, and bandaged up his hand... for a second, he tensed, hearing your footsteps, but he opted to finish wrapping it before you could see.
"Kaeyaaa..." You whined, "You didn't come to bed..." You walked over, hugging him from the side, resting your head on him. How sweet you were, how cuddly... As though nothing happened.
"I'll come to bed in a minute," he said, "I just need to finish this real quick."
You peeked over to look at whatever he was messing with, and woke up in an instant, reaching over to his hand as he was tucking the end of the bandage away, so it wouldn't unravel so easily. "What happened?" You asked, tenderly holding his injured hand with both of yours.
"Nothing to be worried about," he reassured, trying to hide how his voice shook, "Just wanted to patch it up."
With one hand, you gently stroked his, and then lifted it to your mouth to give a loving kiss atop it. "Are you okay to come to bed?" You asked, still tired from the late hour.
"Of course," he wanted to kiss you, badly, but he refrained. You shouldn't, Kaeya, your mouth is dirty.
The two of you walked to bed, he undressing just enough to comfortably lie down...
Feeling how you snuggled up to him, sighing in such comfort now that he was home, and how you soon became a weight upon him as you sunk back into sleep...
However, he did not sleep that night. Or the next, or the next... Or the next.
Days, truly, passed. He did not sleep, he was not sleeping, Jean even scolded him for blacking out more than once, stunned when one second he was standing, and the next he was on the ground, no memory of having fallen, with the knights consoling him.
He started staying later, he had not gone back to the Angel's Share. Many mornings, he was not there when you woke. You knew he was busy, but... this was horrific.
Eventually, two weeks have passed. He steeled his nerves, and he was going to talk to you about it. He didn't want to live like this, with this guilt and agony upon the things he could not fix--but he could fix this. He could-he could make this better.
But, as he walked into your shared home... an eerie silence. As he looked around, it felt like... a lot was missing.
Everything that was missing, from simple objects placed about to pictures on the walls, were all yours. Of you.
Save for a single picture frame, with shattered glass, and a picture of him and you, smiling. It was one of the more coherent pictures the two of you had made.
Beside it, a note.
Dear Kaeya,
A woman came to me recently, telling me of you. Of how you kissed her, and nearly slept with her at the Angel's Share. She was unaware of the fact that you had a partner, and had finally found and confided in me about this.
I don't know what made you cheat on me like this, but worse still you've been avoiding me, and you wouldn't even tell me. If I knew... then we could have talked about it, we could have gotten counseling. We could have fixed this--fixed us. But you were gone.
I don't want to hear you say it, say that you don't love me or you don't want to be with me, so I left. I'm not in Mondstadt, I've gone to live with someone I can actually trust. Please don't look for me, I need time. Your lack of communication was enough to tell me you don't care enough to fix this.
Sincerely, Your former beloved.
Tears truckled down onto the paper, and he nearly crushed it in a single fist... But, no, he couldn't, he couldn't destroy the last connection he had to you, no matter how badly he wanted to rip out his eye, so he never had to look at it ever again. He collapsed the floor, the letter, and the framed picture falling to the ground, a broken, loud laughter rung through the house as tears fells down his face, maniacal in nature...
He wanted to be alone, and gone, for a long... long time.
Childe
Childe didn't understand the meaning of 'exclusive' as well. He loved you, dearly, but to him, love was a thing to be given more freely. Maybe it was just a lack of communication, or maybe he completely misunderstood your words, but with an old friend he slept with time and time again...
When Scaramouche saw him sending off his friend with a goodbye kiss, it being a casual commoditiy in his mind, only then did he get utterly chewed out for this.
"Are you a fucking idiot?" Scaramouche snarled at him, "You're not even shameful about this, you cheater." He snapped, as though he was truly angry for you, instead of just a generally very angry person. Childe shrugged.
"I wouldn't mind if they slept with someone else," he said casually, "Doesn't mean they love me any less, you know?"
Scaramouche tried to response, but he was simply flabberghasted. "Most people don't think that way, you airheaded moron."
Childe just laughed, brushing off the shorter harbinger, before walking off without a care.
But... in the end, the words got to him.
Maybe you didn't think that way? You two had spoken of marriage, a very possible reality that he was looking forward to... But, maybe there was a... culture clash, maybe? A clash of upbringings?
He found himself wondering these things at night, when you were snuggled up to him, unaware of the whirlwind of fear in his mind.
Silently, he resolved to simply stop--It would keep you happy, a little secret he didn't mind keeping. Maybe in many, many years, he'd mention it, but... he thought that was okay. That could be the last time he'd ever do something like that...
But, as he came home... You were sitting, waiting for him.
"Please, come sit down, Ajax," that morose tone, it made his heart ache... so he obeyed without question. You looked at him, face puffy and eyes red... "Tell me the truth," you asked, his heart sinking, "Did you cheat on me?"
He froze, but... "Y-yes, but-"
"I don't need an explanation," you admitted, a small, broken smile on your face, "I knew I wasn't loveable enough."
"Wait, no, no, that's not it at all-"
"No," you interrupted, "I don't need an explanation. I'll be out by tonight," you looked down at your lap, his heart shattering into even smaller pieces,
"Babe... please, please, let me explain, I'll never do it again-"
You stood,
"If you'd do it once, you'd do it again. Don't talk to me," you hesitated, "If you want me to be happy, don't look for me ever again."
He was trying to reach for you... but, he couldn't make himself grab you, not when you so delicately shied away...
Eventually, he gave up. No amount of fighting would stop you, and... and he... he couldn't keep seeing your pain as you cried for him to just leave you alone.
Was this love? The pain of another, the terror not of considering spending the rest of your life with them, but the terror of not spending the rest of your life with them?
Before he knew it, he was staring at a mirror, shards of glass in his fist, more than a few holes in the wall and a broken door, the shattered mirror distorting his expression...
Upon walking through the house, he saw that there was... it felt so empty, without your delicate touch and presence making it a place he lovingly called home.
"No," he whispered, hoping... were you here? Did you see... whatever he blacked out and did, the tantrum he did not remember? Did he, oh gods above, oh gods, he didn't hurt you, did he?
...
But he never got an opportunity to find out.
By the time he had sobered up from his tantrum... you were gone. Only a note, left behind, Don't look for me.
Because, you both knew, if he really wanted to find you, he could. He could capture you, trap you... hurt you.
But he didn't want any of that, as much as it hurt to have you away... to make you hate him anymore than you already did was enough to drive a man to near insanity.
Even after you had been gone, he would sit, whenever he was not forced to work, to fulfil his duties to the Tsaritsa... he would wait. He would cook your favourite dishes, read the books you liked, go to the places you enjoyed...
Only after weeks of this, did it hit him that you truly were never coming home. He knew that, but... but, somehow, his heart, his emotions hadn't caught up.
For a second time, he had destroyed your shared, no... his home.
It just wasn't home without you.
Unable to endure the idea of still being here, of a place where he had held you so many times, kissed you, loved you, and suddenly you were all but gone... He tried to do anything to avoid it, to avoid that demon that desperately tried to crawl out of him, threatening to burst from his chest.
Even the other Harbingers had noticed this, how... awful he had been, how he had lost himself. Even Scaramouche, the one most openly said to be the easiest to hate amongst them all, with an uncanny talent to bring even the most pacificistic souls to pure rage, had done well to stay his tongue, never kind, never sweet, but he would give him the isolation he craved, only speaking as much was necessary.
He didn't know what to do with himself, but whenever that happened... he'd just throw himself to the maws of death and, unluckily, crawl his way back out.
Diluc
Everything felt hot and fuzzy and...
Red.
Was red a feeling? His face was red, his body burned, and he could scarcely breathe, he definitely had accidentally drunk some alcohol, but for once, the effects of inebriation hit him. However, while he couldn't understand why people would devote their lives to this sensation, he could appreciate reality being distant, when he knew if he wasn't drunk, he would have spit up the wine and some extra blood, making it an even richer red color.
A warm feeling around his dick, he saw a pretty, if not distorted, face. It didn't take long for him to explode with sensation, his eyes shot wide... and a kiss pressed to his lips.
He almost chased that pretty face, only to see it disappear, he falling to his knees, rasping for air. Moments later, he felt hands on his shoulder's, shaking him. He shot his head up, seeing Kaeya looking at him in fear, and distantly, he heard his name...
"Diluc. Diluc. Diluc! Say something!"
Diluc stared at him, and opened his mouth to speak, but he only ended up jerking his head down, coughing into his elbow, seeing blood on his black coat... Kaeya noticed, too, frozen in shock.
"What happened?" he asked, his eye wide in shock.
"I..." Diluc rasped out, and his eyes widened in shock.
He realized what he had done.
He. He slept with someone who was most definitely not the one he had sworn himself to. Some-some random woman who was likely enchanted by the prospect of a rich man.
"Diluc!" Kaeya shouted, afraid, "What happened?"
Diluc shoved himself up, his hand on Kaeya's shoulder, already rushing to run out and all the way back to the Winery-but not before Kaeya grabbed him, stopping him, strength near equally matched.
"'Luc, I'm not letting you go anywhere until you-"
"I did," Diluc was still gasping for air, "I did something terrible." He admitted, with no small amount of pain.
"What did you do?" Kaeya asked, "Don't run, don't run, you're going to choke on your own blood-"
"No!" Diluc shouted, throwing Kaeya off his arm, running on pure adrenaline, even as his face was beet red, and his vision blurred.
But he needed to confess his sins, immediately, he needed to... now, now, now!
He heard Kaeya shout, but in the end, as he had to stop just to rasp for air again, the burn of alcohol still in his throat, he heard no shouting, nothing but the sound of his thundering heartbeats in his own ears.
Finally, he got to the Winery. You saw him, shocked, seeing his red face and how distressed he was, his hair nothing short of a fluffy mess.
"Diluc," you run over, he leaning on you, just to not collapse from the lack of air, "Diluc, what's wrong?"
"I-I..." He shuttered out, sucking in a breath, "I cheated on you."
You were reeling, "You-What?"
"I-I accidentally drank wine. I was drunk, I can't..." He was still heaving, "I can't breathe... I don't... I don't know what happened, but... She... a woman, she..."
He couldn't finish, but he didn't need to.
"You cheated on me and the first thing you did was come home and brag about it?" You asked, equal parts anguish and anger,
"No," he rasped, his knees buckling as the world tried to disappear on him, "I can't..." his hand went to his throat, "Wait..."
He didn't know what happened, but he only saw flashes after that--Your tears, his bloodied hands, you leaving.
And he was alone, on the ground, barely able to breathe, to think... to do anything.
You left him.
You were gone.
And, somehow, he wasn't mad at all. Having breathed long enough to move again, he stood... and he found the half-empty bottle of wine left on the table, the wine you adored so.
He grabbed the bottle and drank straight from it, feeling his throat and tongue swell, it crashing to the ground as he fell, unable to rasp even the slightest breaths,
I deserve this, he thought, I deserve this. This is all I deserve.
...
...?
For some reason, despite his better wishes, he woke up. He lay in bed, a cool, wet cloth over his forehead... his flesh burned, and his tongue was still swollen, he unable to wiggle it in his mouth. His breathing, still, was labored, but it seemed that he was still breathing, despite everything.
He watched as Adelinde cautiously walked over, looking down at his face, "... Master Diluc, are you alright?"
No, he wasn't, but he could not even sob and cry, for he could not breathe enough to do so.
A cruel twist of fate, but he was not deserving to cry, he was the one who hurt you. You did nothing but love him.
He didn't deserve anything right now.

Yes ! Can you maybe do an imagine where the reader breaks up with Will because they dont think they’re good enough for him ?? But with a happy ending where they get back together because he really wants to be with them
Of course, sweet Anon!😊 Man, y'all really love angst lmao In retrospect, this might be a bit too angsty😬I blame Bo Burnham's Inside
This imagine is going to be really depressing, like a lot. There will be mentions of attempted suicide and self harm so, SEVERE TRIGGER WARNING.
~~~~~~~~~~
It had been over a year since you broke up with Will.
You'd never felt more depressed in your life, but you thought it was the right decision at the time. What bullshit that turned out to be...
Your crippling insecurity forced your mind to think you didn't deserve to have someone as amazing as Will, he was so thoughtful and you were so, well, so dependent.
You weren't in the best stage of your life when you met Will, you were in a really dark place and you had even more trouble getting out of it. You haven't really made much progress since then, but you tried.
You just wanted to feel better for once. Every day, you just felt like you were drowning and taking Will with you.
He was your rock, and he made sure that he was right beside you every time you felt bad. Of course, being an actor, he had to go away sometimes and you always told him that you'd be fine. You weren't, of course, but you were always so happy for him whenever he'd book a film or TV show because it made him happy.
There were days you just felt numb, mostly when Will wasn't with you. Those days you'd just lay in your bed, sob uncontrollably until the exhaustion would put you to sleep.
Will felt helpless, and you could always see it on his face. He was worried about you, he wanted to help you, but it wasn't something that he could change or do anything about. Him worrying about you day and night made you feel even worse, that was not what you wanted for him. He deserved to be with something that lifted him up and encouraged him, not someone who's depressing all the time and unintentionally bringing him down with them. No...you didn't want that for him at all.
It was inevitable, but it didn't make it any easier to break up with him.
Will's heartbroken face would forever be engrained in your mind, but you kept telling yourself it was in his best interest.
You cried the hardest you ever cried in your entire life. You loved him so much, you didn't want to let him go, but you couldn't let your toxicity ruin his life. And you honestly thought that it would get better in time, but it only made your mental state deteriorate ever more.
One night, when the pain got too hard to handle, you took and broke your shaving razors, taking out the blades.
In hindsight, you really wished you hadn't, you felt embarrassed about it for the longest time. But trying to look on the bright side, it did force you to finally get the professional help you needed. Therapy, medication, the whole nine yards. You kicked yourself for not getting yourself help sooner, because you felt better now that you were going to therapy.
You still struggled a lot, but you knew once you found the right medication, it would become more bearable, and it did eventually. It took a lot of hard work.
You thought about Will a lot, what he was up to, if he found someone else that he loved. The thought was painful, but all you wanted for him was to find true happiness.
One day, you decided to go out to a coffee shop one morning, as opposed to just Postmateing yourself like you normally did. Your therapist did say you needed to get out more, so you took their advice.
You walked through town, a simple little coffee shop catching your eye. The name sounded familiar to you, though you couldn't quite place why. You didn't think you'd been to this place before, you usually made your own coffee, but you wanted to give it a try.
The light ring of a bell filled your ears as you opened the front door. It was a really cold morning, so the warm heat hitting your skin and inhaling the strong smell of coffee and freshly made bakeries put a small smile on your face.
You were thankful that there wasn't a line, possibly to early in the morning, maybe you got there before the usual early birds. Though looking around, it was a small place, only a few book readers scattered amongst the small tables that were set up opposite of the counter where you ordered.
While waiting for your coffee, a wall full of art caught your eye. You walked closer to look at all the pieces, all of them painted by customers. Hmm, cute...
You didn't really acknowledge the bell ringing once more, signaling an arrival of another customer, to focused on the pretty art.
"Hey!" You heard one of the workers say cheerfully, probably addressing the new customer. "Your usual, Will?"
Your smile dropped. Ha, what are the odds, right?
"Yep, of course. Thank you."
Then, your heart dropped.
You recognized that voice anywhere. Now you knew why this shop sounded so familiar, it was Will's favorite place to get coffee, he had mentioned it to you before. Of course, of all the coffee places in town, you had to pick this one.
You slowly turned around, your heart beating out of your chest and almost coming to a complete stop once you laid eyes on his face. That face you always thought about, even in your dreams. "Wi-"
"Y/n!" You cringed as the coffee shop worker called out your name, telling you that your coffee was ready.
Will immediately snapped his gaze over to you, clearly having trouble believing it was actually you. You stood there awkwardly, having a hard time reading his expression. Was he mad? Sad? Happy?
"Y/n." Will almost whispered, taking a couple steps closer to you.
Will looked the same, just as handsome as when you last saw him. His eyes were locked onto you, looking you over in awe. He thought you looked so much healthier now, but always thinking that you look stunning, no matter the circumstance.
"How...how are you?" Will started, a small smile finally stretching across his lips. "You look," He chuckled softly, "amazing."
You looked down slightly when your face started to burn, all of your blood seeming to rush right to your face from one simple compliment. "Thank you." You said sheepishly. "You look amazing too, as usual."
Now it was Will's turn to blush, his easy to spot with his fair complexion. "Uh, do you wanna, maybe, sit down? Or we could go somewhere else, if you want to, that is. Don't feel pressured or anything." He rambled.
You smiled. "Yeah, sure." You grabbed your coffee and joined Will at the table he chose to sit at. "So, uh, how've you been?" You asked, taking tiny sips of your hot drink.
"Good, good. I'll be filming a new project soon, so that'll be fun." Will paused for a beat, then sighing despairingly . "I've been, uh, thinking about you. A lot."
"I've been thinking about you too."
"I kinda lied. I am filming something soon but, I haven't been good. Ever since we broke up, life just...kind of feels a bit grey now."
You frowned, biting your lip hard to keep tears from welling up in your eyes. "I'm sorry, Will..." You whispered. "I thought you'd be better off without me to drag you down. I was such a burden."
Will furrowed his brows, shaking his head with a frown. "No. You weren't dragging me down, I loved you, Y/n. I would've done anything for you. I know that you struggled a lot with your mental health, but I wanted to be with you through all that. I never thought you were a burden, not for a second."
"I just," You wiped an unwanted tear from your cheek, "I don't think I was ready to be in a relationship then. I've been working really hard on my health and now that I have a clearer mindset, I think it was probably for the best that I broke up with you when I did."
Will took a deep breath. "I respect that. I do. I'm happy for you, that you're better now. I don't want this to come off as selfish...but I still love you. I want to be with you. But I understand if you can't be in a relationship right now. I'll wait for you, as long as it takes if you'll let me."
You blushed furiously once more. At this point, you practically wanted to throw yourself at this man. You didn't care if it didn't work out again, you still wanted him, badly.
"I still love you too, Will. Always have."
Will smiled softly. "I don't want you to be my partner again if you're not ready."
"I don't know if I am, I'm still working on myself, but...goddamn I wanna kiss you so bad right now." You said, eliciting another blush and a shy laugh from Will.
You answered him by leaning forward slowly, rubbing your nose against his before gent as you smiled widely at him, leaning closer. You almost shivered as his cold hands reached over to delicately trace your jawline, the gesture automatically putting you in a sort of trance where you could only look into his eyes.
"I really want to kiss you." Will giggled, fully cupping the side of your jaw. "May I?"
You answered him by leaning forward slowly, rubbing your nose against his before gently connecting your lips with his.
Over a year of wanting and missing Will, you ignored your dislike of PDA, you've needed this for so long. The spark you always felt when you kissed him was still there, still giving you goosebumps along with an intense desire you definitely couldn't act on in this coffee shop.
Will pulled away, only to rest his forehead against yours, his eyes closed just relishing in the moment. "I've missed you so much."
"Me too." You chuckled breathlessly.
"I don't want you to feel like you have to rush back into things. We can take it slow if that's what you want."
This man was always such a gentleman, but it just made you even more eager to take him home with you.
"Right now, I don't think I'm capable of taking things slow." You said, a almost seductive tone to your voice.
Will smiled playfully, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "That's absolutely not taking things slow."
"How about we go to my place? Make up all the lost time?" You asked not as confidently, the feeling of rejection making you nervous, but Will smiled gently, taking a hold of your hand and kissing you once more.
"Lead the way."
~~~~~~~~~~
Hope you enjoyed! Hopefully it wasn't too depressing and dark in the beginning.

A/N: hi so i have never actually posted a fic before oop. i have them i just ~dont share~ so this is something new to try for now!
Mando jumped when the hatch fell open, shaken out of light sleep. His hand immediately fell to the blaster tucked into the holster but froze when he saw her trudging up the ramp. She was holding some sort of drink in one hand, her other arm held out to the side as if she was walking on a balance beam. The girl was muttering under her breath, obviously concentrating way too hard on not spilling whatever liquid was frothing in the glass.
When she got to the hull of the Razor Crest she let out an exasperated sigh.
“Hey Mando!” the girl yelled a little too loud, “I’m home!!”
The Mandalorian said nothing. She leaned against the frame and held the glass out to him, panting and starting to slide to the floor.
“I- I got one for-for you!”
He had given her the day to be off on her own, considering how safe the new system they’d landed in was known to be. Maker, she’d spent the last three weeks couped up in the crest by herself. Cabin fever had never really gotten to him, but when he came back this time, bounty flung over his shoulder, it was obvious that it had gotten to her.
He’d felt bad telling her to stay on the ship and only run to the shop when necessary, especially when she butted back in argument. The girl probably didn’t realize it was for her own good, a protective measure. She had rolled her eyes in annoyance, but when Mando didn’t falter in his stance through the fight she reluctantly agreed. He hadn’t meant to leave her alone this long, he truly thought it’d be just over a week, and there was a pang of guilt in his chest for leaving her here like this.
In his absence, the girl had thoroughly redecorated the ship. All sorts of… things, crafts, maker-knows-whats, were sitting atop crates, hung on the walls, clearly made using whatever she’d found rummaging through the spare parts bin and in the singular shop connected to the docking bay.
There was a string of little flickering lights hanging across the hull, pieced together from old console controls. It looked like she had sewed together some old fabrics to create some sort of rug, too.
The girl herself was asleep on the floor, surrounded by papers covered in writing and doodles. It was a mess- whatever she’d been writing was scattered and out of order. The kid was tucked under her arm, completely limp and snoring quietly. They looked like they’d passed out on the spot, mid-activity, on the Crest’s floor. She was wearing an odd combination of clothing he’d never seen before, had she made them herself? The child had a crown woven out of old wires sitting on his head, a matching one had clearly slipped out of her hair.
Mando silently thanked the stars not only for the fact that she was asleep when he got back, but that he had a layer of beskar to hide the smile he couldn’t keep from inching across his face. When he’d hired her a few months back to watch the kid and help copilot as needed, the girl had seemed so harsh. Her knuckles were scarred and she sneered when she called him out on his shit. Which she seemed to love to do.
In the cockpit, they’d sit in silence for hours, something the Mandalorian usually valued with others, but he wished she’d say something. Anything. Occasionally he’d feel her eyes trained on his helmet, or he’d glance back at her to see her clearly thinking deeply about something, but it was never a shared thought. It was quiet.
He’d never admit to it, but he was terrified that she was scared of him. Maker, she’d seen him come back out of breath and dragging a body behind him. She was always standing by when he was at his worst, catching her flinch out of the corner of his eye didn’t make it any better.
But there were moments. Moments he was sure she hadn’t noticed him watching. Moments when she was soft. There were little things. Like how she always gripped the armrest a little tighter and squeezed her eyes shut right before they landed, or how she places a gentle kiss on the kid’s head every night before tucking him in. He doubted she was aware, but she sticks her tongue out just a little bit and fiddles with her necklace when she’s concentrating. Sometimes she leaves little reminders around the ship for them both; they’re always signed with a smiley face at the end.
There were a few times he’d caught her humming to herself and dancing around on her toes. She was graceful- he wasn’t expecting that. For a fighter pilot with such a callous attitude, she was so delicate. So he stayed back, knowing she’d stop the moment she knew he was there.
Or how she left a third woven crown hanging from his seat in the cockpit. No, she didn’t wear a helmet, but it was pretty clear that she hid behind her own layer of beskar, too.
But they had never shared a moment like this: the girl slumped in the door frame, holding a drink out to him with a straw stuck in it. The child toddled over to her.
“Hey little dude!” she put the drink on the floor and held her arms out to him. “Look, sorry I’m back just a little smidgen of a bit late,” she said, words slurring, bopping him lightly on the nose. “I sorta kinda,” the girl’s voice didn’t get any quieter as she tried to whisper, “forgot where we were parked.” She shook her head and held a finger to her lips, “Don’t tell Mando.”
The Mandalorian let out a sigh loud enough to be heard through the vocoder and her head whipped around to face him. “I’m-” she started to get up, “I’m sorry I’m a little bit,” she held on to the wall as she stumbled forward, “a little bit late.” With a huff she gave up and sat back down on the floor, but continued to scootch herself closer to him, only stopping a foot or so before his feet.
Still, he was silent, and the color seemed to drain from her face. Under the cold stare of his visor, she tucked her head back like a child expecting to be scolded. After a few moments, she glanced nervously around the room, looking anywhere besides where she knew his eyes would be. She couldn’t tell the man in front of her was doing everything in his power to stifle a laugh as she struggled to sit up straight.
“Hey, so you’re actually a reeaallly quiet person,” she said softly, fidgeting a bit, “and I don’t know if you know or realize it or not, or if it’s on purpose, b- but when you go all quiet like this I really don’t know- I mean I’m terrible at reading the room anyways- but I can’t tell if you’re mad and I just-”
He cut her off. “I’m not mad.” Her face lit up slightly. Honestly, he wished he was angry. He should have been angry. His ship was a mess. But when she sat in front of him like this, he found it hard to be even the slightest bit irritated. He’d asked her to be back before nightfall, and for once she didn’t ask why or argue back.
“Oh.” She smiled softly then leaned all the way back so that her head skimmed the floor. She reached behind her, grabbing the blue drink and sliding it forward as she sat back up. “It was fun. Probably not your scene, I don’t really know, but the music was good, you would have liked that. You should have come.”
With a sigh, the Mandalorian rose to his feet and held a hand out to her, offering to help her up. She smiled again and let him pull her to her feet, immediately placing a hand on his shoulder to steady herself. His hand landed on her waist to keep her upright. “I don’t really do parties.”
She looked up at him. Somehow, even in her intoxicated state, she always managed to look him directly in the eye. “Yeah, I know. Sorta figured. To be really honest with you though, neither do I, I just wanted to do something a little bit different, yah know?”
“I know.”
They stood there in silence for a minute, then she rested her head against his chest. He froze. She’d never shown an ounce of affection, let alone stand together like this. He knew she was drunk. He guessed the girl wouldn’t remember this in the morning. But still, he held her tightly and savored the moment. It couldn’t have been comfortable, but she leaned against him anyway.
“But the credits I’d give to see you dance in this tin-man suit,” she knocked on his chest and giggled.
“I don’t really dance.”
“Liar. You can so dance. No way you’re that quiet and sneaky and can’t.” Her nose scrunched up as she scoffed at him, poking at his chest plate. “Me, however, whew, you really don’t know what you missed, shiny. You’re holding the worst dancer on this side of the galaxy.”
His head cocked to the side and he paused, watching her poke fun at herself, thinking of all the times he’d caught her tiptoeing around with the child. All the times she would sing quietly and swing her hips while out and about. The words slipped out of his mouth before he could stop them, “No I’ve seen you dance, you dance all the time.”
Her lips parted as a confused look fell across her face. He couldn’t fully read her expression, but it was clear a million thoughts were flooding her brain. He was instantly worried that he’d offended her. Not only had he invaded her privacy- he admitted it to her face. He worried she’d step away and the moment would end, that she’d go to bed and leave in the morning, taking her pay and her bag. But with one eyebrow raised and a soft smile playing across her face, she wrapped both arms around his neck.
“So I guess you owe me one then, huh? I brought you back a drink and everything.”
-----
You picked up on his almost inaudible laugh even through the modulator. Sure, you’d had a few drinks. You had been a little past the point of tipsy as you neared the Crest, but you were coming to your senses now. Were you over-exaggerating your state of mind? Most indefinitely. You couldn’t help it, though. The last 3 weeks had been an absolute shit-show.
You were fine until the end of the first week, then you started to get worried. The thought of him kept you up at night, so you told yourself that there was no way you could have possibly missed him. You only cared because this was your wellbeing now. I mean, before you got this position you spent every minute alone, too. This wasn’t any different.
Except that it was. And you hated that it was. This was just supposed to be another job. Somehow this man in a metal suit had weaseled his way into a soft spot in your heart.
He’d been so patient. Sure, you knew how to fly a ship, and you’re not clueless when it comes to mechanics, but this ship was unlike anything you’d seen before. So he taught you.
When he came back bloodied and bruised, he’d explain exactly what he needed you to do. In one instance he had gently guided your hand, slowly realizing he didn’t have to patch himself up anymore. Maybe he liked having you there. It was impossible to tell; maker, the few times you’d tried small talk it seemed to push him away even further.
But you didn’t want him further away.
You wanted him right here.
Figured that one out week two.
Week three the kid decided you didn’t need sleep. He cried and whined until you hung up that makeshift strand of lights. Then he sat and stared up at them like they were the most beautiful thing in the galaxy. So you made more things to pass the time. And more. And more.
You don’t even remember finally falling asleep, so waking up in the cot was a surprise. You slipped out of bed to figure out what was going on but stopped dead in your tracks when you heard him laugh.
The hatch to the cockpit was open, and from the low angle, you could just barely see the child sitting on the Mandalorian’s lap.
“It looks cute on you, kid.” The baby giggled and reached out for his arms. The wire crown was sitting on his head again. “How does mine look?”
The crown you barely remembered making for him during the third-week fever dream was clearly resting on his head, atop the helmet and all. The baby cooed.
When you landed he practically announced that the day was yours and you were free to go off and enjoy yourself. You thought about asking him to tag along but worried it’d be overstepping. Maker, the man had to have been just as, or even more, exhausted as you. Your pity didn’t run too deep, though. You knew it was selfish, but you hoped that maybe he’d want to be with you.
You tried your hardest to not seem disappointed when you turned to see him still in the hull as you strode down the gangway. You walked to clear your mind before popping into a cantina, which ended up being the center of life, and finding peace with the bottle.
The buzz had almost completely worn off by now, and you were back. And he was back. And he was holding you like he couldn’t risk letting you go.
-----
He looked down at her and let out a sigh. “Next time, sweet girl. We need to get you to bed before you’re out on the floor.”
Her face flushed pink at the sound of his words. Stars, at least he hoped that was why. He could practically see the wheels turning behind her eyes asking, ‘sweet girl? When did you get so soft on me?’
She pushed up on her toes, flattening her body completely against his. Her arms were still around his neck, and he carefully brought his hands together behind her waist. Had he not been wearing the kriffing helmet he would have been able to feel her breath against his neck as she nestled herself impossibly closer.
“Can I tell you a secret?” she whispered.
He gave a curt nod, his body stiff and tense under her.
“I wanted to leave the second after it started,” Her voice dropped even lower and her eyes fluttered shut, “... figured it’d be more fun here with you.”
His heart stilled as he realized her invisible beskar helmet had been lifted. He hoped it fell from her shoulders and rolled down the ramp, was lost in the night, maybe even stolen by scavengers, never to be seen between the two of them again.
She could feel his grip on her back tighten as his head relaxed onto her shoulder.
“Tomorrow night we’ll stay in,” his voice was just loud enough to pass through the modulator.
A smile crept across her face, “I’ll hold you to it, Mando.”
“I’m a man of my word.”
“I know.”

hi! uh—sorry if this is confusing, it’s my first time making a request. uhm—i’ve just been feeling rlly down lately and was considering self harm. so, if it’s okay with u, can i request for tsukishima/sakusa/osamu (u can choose if doing all is too much) seeing their s/o with a fear of sharp objects about to self harm but not going through with it and them comforting their s/o? u dont have to do it tho if ur not comfortable with it, i just wanted to try asking :)
Characters: Tsukishima and Sakusa
CW: self harm, sharp objects
Genre: comfort
Word count: 1, 616
Summary: You've been struggling with thoughts of self harm, which then lead you to a fear of sharp objects. Your boyfriend notices and tries his best to help you.
A/n: your request wasn't confusing at all, don’t worry. So sorry I didn't get around to writing Osamu but I hope this is alright. if you ever need someone to talk to im here, or you could request as much or as little as you want. Just remember self harm isn't the answer, alright? Remember you're loved <3
Tsukishima
Okay, so even though everyone says that Tsukishima doesn’t care or isn’t a good boyfriend to you that is a big fat lie and you know it. This boy is super observant. ESPECIALLY when it comes to you.
You’re his baby and the love of his life, and one way he shows his love to you is by paying attention to everything you do and acting accordingly. He’s usually subtle about it though. You shiver? Oh, look extra hoodie. Tense up when one of your classmates approaches the two of you? Oh no something came up with the team and you’re both required to solve it.
Slight rant aside, he notices immediately that something is wrong. It may take him a little bit to figure out what exactly but he’s looking into it immediately. By the end of the day, he’s checked with your friends if anything is bothering you, he’s found out whether or not you are behind on work or if school is stressing you out. But nothing.
Luckily for him, it was Friday, thus, he was coming over to your house after school (practice). Usually, he’d come over and do some homework then you’d watch a movie together and honestly you could use some affection right now.
When he arrived at your house you were already showered, dressed and waiting at the table to start your homework. He came in and placed a gentle kiss on your forehead and sat down across from you, he’d already changed into casual clothes after practice.
Tsukishima exalted deeply for the first time that day and let himself relax now that he was alone with you. He’d spent his entire day trying to figure out what was up since you’d been acting weird for a little while now and he was back to square one. Nobody he’d asked knew anything that might have upset you, and he’d asked a lot of people. More accurately he’d asked Yamaguchi to since he knew people found Tadashi less intimidating. However, he still hadn’t had any luck in narrowing down the issue.
You seemed to be focused on whatever work you where doing so he decided to do some of his own work and ask you about it during the movie. He pulled out his maths book and a pencil from his pocket to begin working on the algebra homework.
After around thirty minutes of working together with some lofi playing in the background and occasionally asking for help from one another, his pencil lead snapped in the middle of an equation. Slightly irritated, he went to his bag to retrieve a sharpener but couldn’t find his pencil case. Shit, he must have left it in his desk. Oh well, he won’t need it till Monday anyway.
  “Hey, Shortcake,” that stupid nickname he’d gave’ you made you look over to him “do you have a pencil sharpener? My pencil case is at school.” At the mention of a sharpener, you squeaked out no far too quickly. Okay, somethings up. He’s sure of it now.
So he gently set down his pencil and placed one of his hands on yours. When you looked up and made eye contact you could see how concerned he looked. Though it isn’t just concern, there’s something soft and loving there too. It’s because of this that you just aren’t able to break the eye contact, even though you’d much rather check your house slippers for bits of dust.
“Baby,” he starts softly, “I know somethings up. You’ve been different for a few days now. And as long as you’ve been in my class you’ve never forgotten your stationary. Do you want to talk about it? Or we could do something else if you want.” By now there were tears beginning to slowly roll down your cheeks and Kei had gotten up to wrap you up in a hug. “Come one baby.” he says as he guides you over to the couch to sit down.
Once he had you settled in beside him he started to rub gentle circles on your back and waited patiently for you to calm down enough to talk to him. Once you had calmed down a little you began to explain everything. From the thoughts of self-harm to avoiding anything sharp or dangerous just in case. And he just sat there and listened. All the while gently rubbing circles and patterns into your back. He listened to every word you said and took it all in making sure to give little nods or hums of acknowledgement, enough to let you know he was listening without interrupting you.
When you’d finally finished telling you everything he simply scooped you up in his arms and hugged you as tight as he could. “Baby, Y/n. I’m so proud of you. You’re so strong and I’m so glad you didn’t do anything.” he gently kissed the top of your head and whispered, “I love you so much.”
You snuggled further into him and he turned the tv to your comfort movie, even if he didn’t love it or would much rather watch a documentary about dinosaurs.
Sakusa
Sakusa is another boy who people wrongly assume is a bad partner. I object. Although he is slightly more hesitant when it comes to physical affection in public he’s one of the best boyfriends you could ever ask for.
Generally, when the two of you hang out he has a routine to ensure there is no fear around germs and he can be as affectionate as he wants. You both take showers and change into freshly washed clothes when you arrive at either home before you spend time together.
Because of how naturally observant this boy is, and the number of showers he’s had to take at your house he has your shower products almost memorised. He knows what they are, what they do and where they go. Honestly when you’re running low on something he’s more likely to notice than you are. And of course, being the loving boyfriend he is, he’ll remind you to add it to your shopping list or even go shopping with you.
This mans love language is probably quality time or acts of service, so if there’s an opportunity to give you a hand or just spend time with you he’ll take it.
Today was just another day, well not exactly, Sakusa was coming to spend some time with you today, which honestly was not rare at all. You had both fallen into a steady routine of taking showers and changing before spending time together. He would never ask you to do it but you knew it made him more comfortable. Plus he far preferred your shower to the locker room one.
So as always he walks into your house, puts his bag on the table and walks to your bathroom to take a shower. When he’s in the shower he notices that your razor is missing from its normal spot. He thought that was a little bit odd. Mostly because he has never seen your razor missing before. Any time he noticed something was missing before it was always just running low on shampoo, or body wash or only having one bar of soap left.
It isn’t that weird so he just makes a note to himself to remind you about it later like he always does. Once he’s finished and changed into his favourite sweats and second favourite hoodie (you’re currently wrapped up in his favourite). He goes to your room and curls up beside you as you’re preparing to put on a movie.
By the time Sakusa had remembered what he needed to remind you of the movie had been playing for around 20 minutes. So he decides to just wait until after the movie to bring it up. With that decision made he just decides to focus on the movie and how you feel giving him cuddles.
After the movie was all finished and you and Omi where cleaning up, when he brought up the missing razor. “Hey baby, remember to add razors to your shopping list. Yours is missing” he mentioned as he placed your throw pillows back on your bed. He paused in the middle of fixing your pillows, that was not the reaction he expected. Something was up. When he turned around and saw you near tears he rushed over to check on you.
“Baby, talk to me whats wrong?” hes says in the most soothing voice he can muster when he reaches you. You dont respond, just crying a little harder and hugging him back. “Its,” you sniffled a little, “its nothing Omi. Ill be fine” you sniffled again trying desperately to pull yourself together.
Sakusa pulled out the handkerchief he kept for you in his pocket. And by the time you'd told him everything he was crying too holding you. "it's gonna be alright baby. I'm here, we're gonna get through this together."
You fell asleep holding together, knowing that you weren't alone. And wouldn't be as long as you have him and he isn't leaving any time soon

Sero nods. “It’s the chance of a lifetime, really,” he says. “We want you to date Bakugou, for the sake of his reputation with the press. Some public appearances, a few ‘candid’ photos. For at least a couple of months.”
“Bakugou sent you to ask me to date him?” Kirishima asks, baffled.
“Of course not. We, his people, are asking you to date him. He’s going to have to get on board, if he wants his career to survive. And in the bargain, Riot will get all sorts of publicity, because their lyricist will be dating one of the industry’s hottest stars. A win for everyone.”
When Kirishima Eijirou's band hits the big time, he's not prepared for his newfound fame. He's even less prepared to meet the actor he's been crushing on for years, or to start dating him as a publicity stunt. The closer Kirishima gets to Bakugou Katsuki, the more he realizes he's in over his head. But it's hard to stop, once his heart is in it.

“Are those soba noodles?” Kirishima asked.
Again Bakugou’s only reply was a grunt. He offered no further explanation—not that Kirishima honestly expected one—as though making soba noodles from scratch at half past four in the morning wasn’t at all a bizarre occurrence and made complete and total sense. For a fleeting moment, Kirishima even wondered if maybe he was the odd one here. Besides, he’d already decided it was generally not in his best interest to question these types of things with Bakugou, especially when it was something essentially harmless.
When Kirishima has a nightmare and is unable to fall back asleep, he accepts defeat and decides to study in the common area of the dorms. What he doesn't expect to find is Bakugou, also very much awake, and Kirishima can't help but think that maybe they're both having the same problems with sleeping. If he's worried, it's just because they're friends. (Right?)
the weight of your hand by kamin
That night, to the citizens, the explosions were a jolt of fear at every blast, but to the heroes and the students of UA, they were punches and swings, fierce fighting and loud strength. The explosions were the pulse of the battle, and the power of a boy that would never back down.
One after another, explosions set a chorus through the shuddering city.
And then, suddenly—the explosions stopped.
(In which Bakugou’s kidnapping goes a little differently, and just a few seconds could change so much.)

When a stranger shows up at the ice rink during Bakugou's usually private training sessions, Bakugou expects to hate him. He doesn't expect to develop feelings that become increasingly difficult to deny, or for them to help each other sort through their emotional baggage. - Bakugou really didn't like Kirishima's smile. There was something about it that made his stomach hurt, something about it that made it difficult to focus. He definitely hadn't thought about that smile on his way to the ice rink that day. He definitely hadn't.

When Bakugo and Kirishima get hit by a quirk that forces them to literally stick together or face the less then desirable consequences, how the fuck is Bakugo supposed to keep his crush hidden?! Well, turns out he never needed to.

Bakugou was a comet, blazing out of reach. Kirishima knew he was stupidly lucky that his furious trajectory went by close enough that his fingertips got to graze the cowl of fire. It was enough.

“We’ve been taking the same way to and from school for weeks,” Kirishima grinned, and then when Bakugou frowned at him he put on an affected pout, tilted his head so that he was looking at him through his thick, long lashes, “you never noticed? Am I that easy to miss?”
He could barely finish the sentence before a laugh escaped his lips, and Bakugou rolled his eyes, hit him with a shoulder a little more violently than necessary.
“You stick out like a sore thumb, broom-head,” he grumbled, promptly ignoring Kirishima's whining about his hairstyle when it started coming, “I didn’t notice ‘cause I didn’t care.”

Eijirou enjoys his job, working the graveyard shift at a 24/7 coffee shop. His daemon Riot is always there to keep him company, and he likes meeting the early-morning patrons and giving them the best possible kick-start to their day. It's been his routine for about a year now.
Then one day, a grouchy guy with a daemon in the form of a lion walks into the shop in the dead of night, and Eijirou decides to strike up a conversation with him.

“So you want to use me to piss off your mom?” Kirishima summarized, raising one pierced eyebrow at Katsuki.
“Look, if you want to be all fucking judgy about it, I take cash,” Katsuki said, dropping his hand palm up on the table.
“Hey now,” Kirishima said, raising his hands in surrender, “I didn’t say I wasn’t doing it. I’m always down for a little chaos.” He flashed a grin, showing off his ridiculous shark teeth.
“Good,” Katsuki said. “We start tomorrow."

He was starting to feel depressed. Life was so uninteresting. It was so mundane and forgettable. He had no one to hang out with besides Kota, his family didn’t even live in the city.
He grew his hair out as some sort of rebellion, some sort of stand to make his life the slightest bit more interesting. But he could already feel himself giving in to the pressure of cutting it. He needed to work to live. Without a job, he’d truly have nothing.

“You’re the first guy friend I’ve had that I can just like, be friends with. You’re either the most unthirstiest boy ever...” Camie shrugged and made another wobbly illusion appear between her hands. It looked like a sparkly rainbow with the word ‘friendship’ beneath it, accompanied by what Bakugou assumed was supposed to be a twinkling sound effect, but it had a tinny quality to it and sounded far away. “...or I just ain’t got the kinda straw you like to ssssip.”
Carefully, Bakugou considered the strange turn this conversation had taken.
He had never been asked, point blank, if he was gay before. And he honestly had never thought about how he would respond. Lying about himself didn’t sit right with him. But he’d always wanted to wait until he was the number one hero - when he stood above everyone else - before coming out. Though he’d had times when he’d thought about doing it before then and had almost gone through with it once. But being the number one hero came first. It wouldn’t matter what people would say about it then as long as he’d risen to the top.
Bakugou knew his lack of a response would give Camie all the answers she needed.
flour power by wingsonghalo
“I’m telling you now, Shitty Hair,” the blonde growled, “I am not gonna play house with you. We will cart this stupid flour around for a week like the assignment says. But some of our idiot classmates are naming the thing and setting up ‘playdates’ and dressing it and I am not doing anything that stupid. Got it?”
Kirishima and Bakugou are paired up to take care of a flour sack for a week. It would be so simple, except nothing with Bakugou is ever simple. Also Kirishima might be kinda sorta completely head over heels for him.

that feeling when you suddenly want to jump off a cliff for no reason but instead of a cliff it’s your best friend and instead of jumping it’s growing feelings out of nowhere
or how Bakugou has to try really hard not to throw everything to the wind, and Kirishima doesn't help
i also have a tag specifically for fics that reach somewhere between 30k-70k words long if you wanted to check that out as well! i hope you enjoy the fics here and that i was able to help, ily enjoy your trip!!! :D

OK I've gotten through the 7 stages of grief, here are my arguments for and against Han Seo and his 'betrayal'
I do think it’s possible that Han Seo just decided to betray Vincenzo, though i don’t like the thought and I hope this isn’t the case. The greatest evidence for it is the way he acts. The way he reacted to Vincenzo pulling the gun on him did not seem faked, nor did his reaction to Mr Han’s smug announcement that he had found a way to off Vincenzo. It is worth noting that we do see what appears to be a moment of hesitation on his part before he enthusiastically praises Mr. Han for covering all their bases. For the last part of the episode all of Han Seo’s behaviour says that he’s betrayed Vincenzo for real (right down to him not telling Jipuragi squad about Mr Han’s promotion), but that doesn’t really mean anything if you argue that it’s all part of a wider plan, and that he’s just acting. So besides just taking his actions at face value, there’s also the point that there is no point to it being a plot? Like what do Vincenzo and Han Seo stand to gain from staging a betrayal and having Vincenzo get shot in front of Interpol?? What would the benefit of that be? (Edit: OK so someone told me that it might be to delay interpol deporting vincenzo so that they could work on clearing his name, and that gives a lot of support to the theory of it being a plot) Please enlighten me if I'm missing something here because it seems to me that the only entity that benefits from everything is Babel, as now their biggest pain in the neck is gone. This gives Han Seo every reason to actually betray Vincenzo, especially since it was in a setting where he felt backed up (Interpol waiting in the wings). He’s managed to take back the chairman position, oust his brother, and his right hand man (Mr. Han) is the chief prosecutor. Technically he doesn’t need Vincenzo to ensure his safety anymore, nor does he really have to keep helping him by leaking info, since it’d be fighting against his own company now. Plus Vincenzo already seems to have a plan in place, which he entrusted to Cha Young earlier in the episode. Not to mention Vincenzo getting shot, and how genuinely shocked he seemed. So perhaps Han Seo really will just be another example of how greed corrupts the best of intentions, a second Prosecutor Jung. Unless all of it is a ploy on Han Seo's part?
Which it might well be bc nothing is ever as it seems with this drama, so here are some points on why Han Seo’s betrayal might not be as simple as that.
Firstly we've seen so much character development for Han Seo, and it seemed like at some point the drama really began to try to endear him to us. He's clumsy, he's not very bright, he's funny, he's the underdog, we pity him and want him to succeed. We see him join up with Jipuragi squad, we see his quest to be liked and to come out of the shadow of his brother and his abuse. He’s flawed, but we grow attached to him, and we like him. Of course, you can argue that all this is to make the betrayal hurt even more later on. But just like the NIS director's buildup as a trustworthy character from the beginning was a good basis for assuming he wasn't on the wrong side, this could be the case for Han Seo too (though whether or not his character was ever built up as trustworthy is debatable). Prosecutor Jung’s betrayal already showed us that we can’t trust anyone, so why give us that again using Han Seo?
Secondly, that first hockey scene and how much Han Seo has come to idolize Vincenzo. We see how happy he is in the scene where they play hockey together, and how lighthearted their chatting is. We even get Is This Love played during the scene (lol). Han Seo is playful around Vincenzo in a way he can’t really be with anyone else, and from what we’ve seen, he really values that. I mean, look at the way he skated around like a gleeful child after Vincenzo left, and the way he called out grazie after him. As well as their interactions in the previous episodes, like when 80s Han Seo appears to brag about how he risked his own safety to save Geumga Plaza. Before the last 15 minutes of this episode Han Seo is a huge Vincenzo fanboy, and you can argue that he wouldn’t suddenly do a 180 like that. There’s also the fact that Vincenzo said he would kill Han Seo only if he betrayed him. The fact that that was the only condition he gave makes it even more significant if Han Seo has actually betrayed him. It having been said that that was the one thing he shouldn’t do, why would he go ahead and do just that? I mean, you could argue that Vincenzo mentioning betrayal was foreshadowing, both for Han Seo’s actual betrayal and thus his eventual death, but we’re trying to look on the bright side here lol Edit: ok so my memory is actually garbage and he never said that, disregard that bit lol
There’s also little things like the clip that shows Han Seo calling Vincenzo from a car wearing different clothes (why would they have a whole wardrobe change and shot of him in the car for a 3 second shot of him basically just saying “we need to talk” when they could have just had him call from the ice? so there is most likely a longer scene in the car), the fact that Vincenzo showed up with a gun (maybe it was just bc they were suspicious about the fact that Han Seo didn’t report on Mr Han’s promotion), or the fact that the movement Vincenzo made with the gun before he got shot was kinda odd. And perhaps most notably, Han Seo wondering who out of Vincenzo and Han Seok would come out on top in the end.
But truly, I dont know what to think. I definitely think we’re not getting the full story, but i’m not sure if that story is going to be good on Han Seo’s part. I really want to believe that it’s somehow all a ploy, but to me everything seems to be saying that it’s a real betrayal. Of course, no one can ever accurately predict things in this drama, and this seems like a cheap ending for a character that was sold to the audience so much, so I'd love to be wrong!! If anyone has any insights in either direction, please share!!!!

Felix and Olivia: Sleeping Under The Stars
It's that day (first time I've auctly done anything to contribute) so here's a story. It's vore of course and that's why you're here right, to feel comfortable and safe with something you like.
(Safe, soft, willing, protective, vore, bit of stuffing)
Word count: 1932
Olivia drove in relative silence, the crackling of her radio bringing her back to reality when ever she drove near a part of the forest that had radio connection. She would occasionally glance at the tree's and name out the ones she remembered from when her dad took her camping. The afternoon drive was peaceful, the clouds weren't covering the sky, just one cloud that seemed to always be covering the sun from her eyes. She hadn't seen any other cars on the road, the only thing showing her that there was still life in the world was the occasional deer walking around on the side of the road. She had been planning this vacation for almost 5 months and just barely getting the only camping spot on the lake on this exact day. After another hour of driving and still no sight of anyone she pulled into a dirt path barely visible from the road. It took her a few minutes of bumpy driving to finally get to the lake side. It was beautiful, a large lake surrounded by trees with almost perfectly clear water all the way through, and just like they said, the only camping spot for miles.
Olivia opened the back doors, slightly expecting one of the vacuum sealed pillows or blankets to have torn and jettisoned the others out at her but, nothing happend. She grabbed the tent out of the back and put the bag where she wanted the tent to go. She opened the trunk and grabbed a large red suitcase and rolled it over to the side of the car and opened it. As she did, a large vacuum sealed plastic case fell out filled with pink and green fabric. It took her a minute to find where the opening was but eventually she found it, unsealing it and letting the air back in. The case and fabric expanded rapidly as Olivia took off the rest of the seals. Eventually an arm formed out of the fabric and pushed on the ground causing a leg to extend from underneath. Felix started to stand up as his other leg and arm formed from his torso. His head never popped up though, he tried to feel where his head was, reaching into the small opening in his neck but couldn't grip anything. Olivia couldn't tell if he really couldn't get his head strait or if he was putting on a show but she still laughed at his predicament. After a minute of trying he eventually crossed his arms and knelt down to Olivia.
Olivia stuck her arms down his throat and felt around for a bit, trying to grab at any piece of fabric that would move when she pulled it. She shoved her arms further down his throat and felt his plastic teeth, gripping onto them and pulling his head out. He blinked and squinted for a few seconds, the blue speckles swirling around in the black of his eyes. He finally focused on Olivia and tried to talk, but as he opened his mouth incoherent mumbles was all he could make. A confused and concerned look spread over his face as Olivia started laughing. He put a hand in his mouth, his worried look only worsened as he ripped his hand from the velcro on the bottom of his jaw. She had him open his mouth and immediately realized the was missing his tongue. She looked around a bit more before reaching her arm down his throat. Felix wasn't prepared for something to go down his throat, instinctively swallowing to get her farther down. Her arm was gripped by his throat and dragged further down and her head slipped into his mouth, she felt a disconnected piece of fabric stuck in his throat. It had to be his tounge she thought as she pulled it up, reattaching the velcro when she got it back to his mouth.
"*Gah* Thank you, it's nice to see you again. Why couldn't you pull me out to stretch or for a snack or even just to see you. I haven't seen you for two day's?" Felix said as he pulled her in for a hug, lightly nibbling at her jacket.
"I'm sorry, there was always someone at the rest stops. I wanted to have you sitting next to me while I drove, I just wish the world would accept you. Come on, let's get you something to eat" Olivia said while pushing Felix off her, she started to sort threw the vacuum sealed pillows and blankets.
"Thank you for bringing me out here, but it's always nice to see you with any background, but may I ask why here" he never took his eyes off her, still kneeling down to see her.
"This is the first place my dad took me camping. It's still as beautiful as I remember and it's even better with you here" she shuffled around in the trunk before pulling out a magenta pillow and green blanket.
"I look at someone beautiful every day, I'm just happy I get to spend some time walking around outside comfortably with you" he didn't care where he was, as long as he was with her.
Olivia opened the vacuum sealed case and grabbed out the pillow and blanket, throwing the plastic case back into the trunk. "Here, fill your stomach then help me put up the tent. I bought the biggest one I could find so you could also sleep inside" she tossed the pillow and blanket to Felix who finally took his eyes off her and happily and hungrily started at the mound of fabrics in his hands. "Cotten filled pillow with a silk pillow case and a cotton fabric king sized blanket"
Felix already had the blanket halfway down his throat while she was talking, his stomach was already starting to expand a bit. "*Mmph* *gulp* you always get me my favorites" he said, immediately shoving the pillow in his mouth after saying that.
"Of course, it's a three day trip so I packed as much food for you as I could. Now come over here and help me raise the metal legs." The tarp was already laid on the ground and Olivia was starting to push the bars into place.
They put up the tent, Felix's almost 11 foot stature pretty much holding everything up as Olivia locked it into place. They brought the suitcase full of clothes and the air mattress into the tent. Felix blew up the bed, struggling with the tiny bike pump. As the sun started to set Olivia got dressed into her pj's and Felix layed out a thin blanket onto the grass. Felix set aside a sealed blanket next to the one on the grass and layed down on the blanket on the grass and waited. Olivia stepped out of the tent, her baggy blue and red pj's almost covering her entire body, just the tips of her fingers showed from the bottoms of her sleeves. She looked around before spotting Felix on the grass, surprised to see an uneaten blanket underneath him. She ran towards him, jumping at him and landing onto his stomach. He turned her around to face him, holding her slightly above his own head. He couldn't make out the words for a bit. "I- I dont think I've ever seen you with stars almost as bright as you are before" his eyes never left her, letting his peripherals see the stars. Olivia turned around, her face lit up as she saw the consolations in the sky. She laid on her back, snuggling the top of her head to Felix's chin. They laid there for hours, Olivia teaching Felix about the consolations and Felix giving her gentle massages.
Olivia began to shiver as the cold air started to seep threw her clothing. Felix opened the vacuum sealed bag and pulled out the king sized comforter, draping it across Olivia and pulling it up to her neck. After a few minutes she still wouldn't stop shivering, she rolled over onto her stomach and started to hug Felix's neck. He was plush and didn't need air but the feeling of his neck being crushed was still something his couldn't take. Felix gulped to try and straighten out his neck, slowly pulling Olivia's arms off. The feeling of him swallowing made Olivia feel a little better. "Do you think it's time for bed now?" Felix said, Olivia started to inch closer to Felix's mouth when he said that. He grabbed onto her arms and gently put them in his mouth, she immediately began to massage his cheaks and accept the odd warmth coming from him. He grabbed her waist and pulled her a bit forwards, gulping down her arms and head. He started to humm at the taste, it slowly turned into a purr as hadn't tasted her for almost three days but it was a taste he felt he couldn't live without. He slowly pulled her forward gulping slowly to keep her for as long as he could. He worked his way down to her stomach, gently biting right above her waist. Her shirt had been pulled up a tiny bit by the velcro in his throat, using the opportunity to wrap his tounge around her bare stomach and back, his purring was starting to shake Olivia's entire body. She slightly stirred at the feeling on her stomach as she just wanted to get to his, but the massaging feeling was too nice to complain. Her hands were already in his stomach so she decided to massage the inside of his stomach, his purring getting so loud she was shaken loose as the rest of her followed into his throat and stomach. His purring continued as he gulped Olivia's legs, his stomach started to expand and Olivia kept rubbing his stomach harder.
Felix let out a small gasp as he finished swallowing her feet, he didn't have to but going back to his fake breathing felt nice. His stomach was bulging and huge. Olivia moved to get comfortable in his stomach while Felix rubbed at any part of his stomach that wasn't wriggling. Felix grabbed the blanket with his left hand, still using his right hand to rub his stomach. He shoved the blanket in his mouth, the tiny bits of velcro in his throat pulled the blanket down faster than he could ever eat Olivia, as if that was a problem. Olivia felt the big fluffy blanket on her head and enter the stomach with her. She felt her clothes being torn to shreds by Felix's stomach so she quickly wrapped herself in the blanket, knowing full well it wouldn't be long before it was gone as well. They both started to drift off to sleep, Felix's relentless purring started to slow down as he focused back on the stars, his arms lazily resting on his stomach. Olivia started to snuggle up to the grey tendrils in Felix's stomach. "Goodnight ya big fluffy bug". Felix just kept staring up at the bright night sky for a few second's before looking down to his stomach. "Goodnight my brightest star". Olivia lightly chuckled at the new name, falling asleep in no time. Felix watched as the stars glistened in the night sky, a shooting star shot across the sky as he remembered what Olivia told him. That's when he realized he had everything he could wish for. He gently rubbed Olivia's back threw his stomach as went to sleep as well.

Read to me
Found this in my drafts..... I have no idea when I did this or why, so it's definitely unedited but enjoy some happy cressworth before I post the angst of speak now
My wife looks beautiful in the lamplight, her dark curls falling forward and outlining her face. She doesn't notice me glance up from my book at her as she is too engrossed in the autonomy book. Her brows are furrowed slightly in concentration. We have to do some research for a case, and we have been working on it nearly all night. The candles are nearing the end and my eyes are so heavy I feel as though I will fall asleep at any point. Im sure my love is the same. Admittedly, I may have stopped reading anatomy and useful books a while ago. When she left to make us drinks I switched the dust jackets around so I could read my latest romance novel. I've made great progress in it and despite my wife thinking they are awful most of the time, I have found this to be my favorite. It might be because the main protagonist is like my Wadsworth at times. I will never get used to not being able to call her Wadsworth now that we're married. It is still odd to me that we are married, that I get to call her my wife. My beautiful, darling wife.
Perhaps she is right that they are rotting my brain and softening my heart.
Not that I mind. I take another glance and see how tired she truly is. We have been working all week to find this killer, and whilst we have nearly solved it there is just something we are missing. It is making all of us unbearable. So much so that we have been uninvited to dinner several times by my sister and Audrey's father until we finish the case. Although it is more fun dining in our office, still researching until the candles run out. After this case I believe I might take Wadsworth on holiday, to let us both rest. Perhaps we'll take uncle Jonathan with us, or at least make him go on his own holiday.
“Love it's getting late we should go to bed.'' I tell her. I put my book down and stretch, waiting for her to stop reading as well. She doesn't. I sit back and wait to see if she'll notice me.
After a short while she sighs and looks up at me. She blinks at me in surprise to find me already watching her. I smirk and lean forward again, letting her set her book down and stretch. She scrunches her face in a yawn and I can't help but want to kiss her.
“Did you find anything useful?” she asks through another yawn. Even if I had found anything I would've waited till morning to tell her. She is too stubborn to admit she's exhausted. From running around the city and hours of reading and researching she is about ready to pass out.
“Yes, you look absolutely adorable when you're tired.” I say despite knowing that she is referring to the case. She rolls her eyes but I glimpse a smile. “And, that you look beautiful sitting in the candle light” I state before she can scold me.
“About the case? Anything we can use, or anything about how they were killed?”
“Yes actually,” I lied, a plan forming in my head. Her eyes light up and she looks at me expectedly. Guilt pools through me as I pick up my romance novel and hide my smile. I repeat to myself that she won't hate me for this stunt and I'm in fact being helpful. I flick through the book to find a, well, a passage that would make Audreys aunt pass out; and my sister would fall to the floor laughing if she was there to witness it.
“Anything you are willing to share with me Thomas?” she says, settling her head in her arms against the table. Her hair falls into her face but she doesnt move it, I do it for her before I read to her.
“I'm willing to share everything with you, you are an incredibly lucky since you are the only person with such luxuries. I would want someone to share something as mag-”
“Thomas. Please just get on with it so we can go to bed.”
“Very well ah here it is,” I clear my throat, “heart pounding, skin aflame; each touch and caress was a hundred different feeling vying for my atention at once. Without effort, our bodies new precisely what to do, how to react-”
“Thomas!” she flug her head to me, eyes wide as she watched me try and hold in my laugh. She snatch the book from me, removing the dust jacket and then threw it back at me. It makes me laugh harder.
“What?! I thought you would enjoy it. Given that all you have been reading lately is morbid, i thought reading you a section from a romance novel would be most beneficial. Be sure to think of me though when you read on.” I wink at her as she throws her hands up in dismay. I catch a small smirk that she fails to hide. Audrey rose stands from her chair, deciding to abandon me in our office.
“So instead of finding something useful to help catch our killer you've been reading filth?" she asks. I stand too, moving past the table to wrap my arms around her waist. She leans into my embrace and I plant a kiss atop her head.
“Not filth. But yes. I tried to read those books but they were not helping us and you know they aren't . Sometimes we have to be patient with these. I know love, how hard it is. I want to catch them too. And we will. Lets get some rest, then we will work with uncle tomorrow to finish this case.” I tell her. None of us are good at being patient. I tend to need to relase my enegry by tapping on anything, a trait Audrey hates but understands. Uncle Johnathan is just like my wife, needing to work constantly till the case is over. Needed to understand everything. I feel Audrey Rose turn into me and burry her head into my chest. I hold her close for a minute until she leans back to plant a kiss on my lips. I deepen the kiss and run my hand up and down her back, soothing her as much as I can.
“Read to me?” I hear her whisper as we let go of each other. Often at night we read before sleeping. Sometimes to each other, depending on who is more exhausted.
“Did that pique your interest my love. Whatever would dear old aunt say to such unwomanly thoughts?” I tease and move to go get the book.
“Hush you fiend. I dont care what you read I just what to hear you voice.”

Captive
Tumblr media
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is what happens when one of your tumblr sisters @moon-ascendant teases you with a picture of Daniel Gillies as Wing commander Hayes from Occupation Rainfall just to show you his hands and active the heck of the hand kink 🤤🥵 while chatting. Love ya! I have not watch the movie. I’m just going from the synopsis of the story.
English is not my first language.🤷🏻‍♀️
Bolds thoughts: sorry that’s my style of writing
Warnings SMUT like real SMUT complete SMUT be freaking gentle this was torturous to write. Lord knows I love to read them but writing them is a completely different thing entirely. So if you’re younger that 18 please look away my darlings.
Kudos to the gif creator , that giff was used for the facial expressions and the yummy eye FUCK Vibes Hayes gives the female reader.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Y/N couldn’t think of a worse situation . At the moment she was held captive in an Australian military facility, underground in a secret lab where gruesome experiments were done to the alien invaders. She led a mission to free the captives and ended up being one. She was stripped and left in nothing but her underwear her hands were tied and her arms were up placed on some sort of a butchers hook , behind her a concrete wall. Tired and beaten up she waited for the commander of the facility . Since she didn’t talk to the officers they summoned the man himself to whom they referred as the beast. She was anxious but not scared . Her arms hurt from the uncomfortable position they were placed in .
Tumblr media
Then footsteps could be heard from the corridor. The comander was close , coming to interrogate her and possible torture her. She would not give the wanker the satisfaction of making her talk , she’d rather die. Beeping sounds were heard and her breath hitched on her throat as the door whooshed open. In came the one person she never in a million years expected to see. So this was their leader Special Wing Comander Hayes .They had history. ‘Bugger’ she thought . Hayes brown eyes locked on hers and spoke to the rest of the men in the room. “Leave us”.
“But sir she’s dangerous” the soldier interrupted . Big mistake Hayes gun was out in a flash hitting the man with it on his face blood splattering everywhere from the soldiers nose.
“If I can’t control this little sheila then perhaps I do deserve to die. Now fuck off”. He went to the control console shutting the monitors down. Once the soldiers were gone he turned to Y/N and by god he had never look more handsome . This man made the uniform look like a sin she desperately wanted to commit. “My Ohhh my Y/N” he started. “Fancy that ... what are the odds of me finding you here of all places”.
“Fuck off Hayes”.
“Tchhh tchhh tchh”he reprimanded with his tongue. “Language mate , I see something’s never changed” he smirked. “Now listen very carefully baby . This could go either fairly easy where you tell me who’s leading the resistance and what is their location? Or things could get ugly up to where I have to get it out of you by any means necessary and we both know that I don’t want to do that, not to you luv. So what do ya reckon eh? , come on talk to me”. He stood in front of her as her chest heaved frustrated.
“I’m not talking Hayes. Do what you have to I’m not a traitor and a coward like you”! She shouted.
His hand found her neck swiftly and gave her a hard squeeze “You wound me mate” . “Look whose talking about traitors THEY invaded US , THEY are killing US why do you help THEM ? he asked upset squeezing a little making her harder for her to breathe then releasing his hold a bit enough for Y/N to catch her breath.
“Not all of them are bad , what you are doing here is wrong , there has to be another way to defeat them . Not like this Hayes please listen to me I” she spoke while taking gulps of much needed oxygen.
“You can what ? Help me? My duty is to my country and if I have to torture and kill the lot of them bastards he paused I will”. “I’ll ask one last time luv tell me who’s your leader? Don’t make me hurt you”. He ran his gun over from her cheek to her breasts . She recoiled.
“Fuck you”! Spitting to the ground disrespecting him.
“Fuck me ? ... Fuck me?!” Hayes snapped he pressed her to the wall with his body . The hand on her neck moved to her dark locks, his long fingers tangling on her tresses pulling her head back hard while his gun pressed to the underside of her left breast. “You want to try that again luv? , I’m going to give you one last chance”. He snarled. Y/N remembered what those big calloused hands could do as he jabbed his gun to her side again and pulled her hair simultaneously earning him a moan not from pain or discomfort but from lust.
“Is this ... he paused “is this turning you on mate?” He smirked
“Hayes let me go ... I don’t have the information you seek Please .. please I” she gasped her panties were gone. His gun disappeared and soon his fingers were at her core .
“God”! She moaned “Hayes please”.
‘Fuck this interrogation’ he thought he’d missed her and she was here vulnerable and ready for him to take her to heaven. There was something about having her like this arms up hands tied that he could not resist. He sped the movement of his fingers making Y/Ns eyes rolled back into her head. ‘Fuck the mission he’s mine’ she was close. Suddenly her vision blurred and white appeared before her eyes as she came on his fingers her body shaking violently. He brought his fingers to his mouth and licked them clean ‘Fucking delicious baby’ he ran his tongue through his lips before taking her mouth with his own. His slippery tongue fought with her for dominance eventually winning. Y/N threw her head back hissing as his lips found her breasts . His beard scratched her light sensitive skin as he took a nipple in his mouth and suckled.
“Untie me” she begged .
“No”
“Please let me touch you”
He almost gave in ... almost “No” making her growl and curse pulling at her bindings.
Y/N heard his zipper come undone making her look down to his trousers . She had never been so glad to hear that sound. She looked up at him and the look on his face made her cum right then and there. He was so intense.
Tumblr media
With little effort he grabbed her by the back of her thighs and hoisted her up against his waist . His length was warm and hard ready to take her. Y/N wrapped her legs around him and leaned forward to kiss him. He sighed into the kiss. He could feel her trembling with need as his fingers greazed her lower back , his tongue intertwining with hers, relishing in her sweet taste. He couldn’t wait any longer and with a hard thrust he swallowed her moan. He was finally in and it was blissful. Hayes set a fast and brutal pace hammering her against the wall and Y/N enjoyed every single second of it. He pulled her hands from the hook and place them behind his neck . She met his thrusts pressing her forehead against his as they panted into each other’s mouths. “Hayes”... Y/N whimpered he knew she was close so he lowered his hand to her core again and started to rub her clit. She moaned into his ear as her thrusts became desperate trying to keep up with him but failing .With a few more movements of his hips she screamed his name for the whole facility to hear . Feeling her walls convulsing around him sent the wing comander over the edge whispering her name fervently over and over again. Coming down from his high he pulled out slowly hissing in the process. “Sensitive comander”? Y/N whispered making him chuckle. “Something like that mate” he took her arms off from around his neck and looking into one of his pockets he produced a knife. “What are you doing”?! She got anxious. “Hush now lass” he cut off her bindings he steadied her .“Get dressed and go I’ll cover ya”. Y/N’s eyes widened “Come with me Hayes”. “No luv I’m into this way to deep , I’ve made my bed no way I’ll back out now” .He grabbed her face and brought his lips to hers one last time. Once dressed she turned to leave when he held her hand .
“What?”
“Take my gun” he put the firearm on her hands.
“You cannot give me this , I can’t” her eyes full of tears.
“You have to and make it believable” he nodded.
“You can’t be serious Hayes ...no” she looked at him refusing to do what he commanded .
“Now my luv you’ll have a window of 60 seconds before I tripped the alarm. Do you understand?”
“Y/N”! he shouted .
“Bugger” she said angry.
“For what is worth... I love you” he gave her a small smile.
“See ya comander” she said before hitting him with his gun on the face cutting his right eyebrow open and aiming at his arm shooting on the forearm.
“You bitch!! ... Fuck”!
“I love you too”she ran from the room hoping she could find the exit before he tripped the alarm.

me: hmmm today i will post a short snippet of a thing i wrote and never finished but is decent on its own. post hlvrai benry coomer gordon interaction or someting.....i dont ever think ive shared my hlvrai writings before so enjoy.......
word count: 1240
benrey came to know the times when the sun disappeared as nighttime. night was when people were supposed to sleep. which was why every time gordon had laid down on the rigid pavement of black mesa, and instructed the others to go to sleep before he turned off the game, he closed off with a "good night", one directed towards each member of the party-- with the exception of benrey, whose presence with the team was inconsistent.
"Sleeping is almost like recharging a H.E.V. suit-- except you're the suit, and your bed is a charging station," doctor coomer explained with his ever-cheery tone. benrey didn’t really understand that either. he generally did not understand doctor coomer and did not care to try.
benrey didn't have a bed, which didn't end up mattering much because the first two days and nights at gordon’s house, he never slept. after being shown the tv and its game console, as well as around the house, he found ways to keep himself entertained. he liked the grainy blue of the tv screen when everything else was dark. no better time of day existed for him to sit an inch away from the tv as the bright fuzzy static poured into his eyes.
gordon slept the most. sometimes from the late evening until when the sun was past the middle of the sky the next day. tommy also slept this late sometimes, but he went to bed hours later than gordon. bubby and darnold's sleeping schedules were closest to gordon's, with a few hours shaved off before midday.
the third day, benrey found himself passed out on the couch. he woke up feeling something unfamiliar. he decided he did not like the feeling; it was sort of like when he was bored, but all over his body instead of his mind, and at the same time his body hurt. the kitchen was bustling and the sun was bright at the time of this awakening.
benrey slept earlier that evening, and ended up awake around 2 am. sleep was bullshit, he concluded, opting to sleep only when he felt like it. this was usually until he stayed up to a point of exhaustion and his body insisted that he get some fucking rest.
on his fifth or sixth day outside of the game-- he was starting to lose count --he wandered upstairs during the middle of the night. benrey spent most of his waking hours on the lower level, but boredom was typically right around the corner.
he was creeping down the narrow hallway when he was lured to gordon’s bedroom. he froze in place, a few feet away from the stair banister. muffled thunking and what gordon sounded like when he was panicking echoed through the walls. benrey traced the sounds to the room benrey had entered the house through-- gordon’s bedroom. a pathetic little light just barely shone from the door crack.
the noises got louder as benrey clutched the doorknob turned it to open the door. the light was the bedroom closet, its door wide open, illuminating the room enough so that benry could see gordon. gordon was in bed, his wailing achingly loud now. he thrashed and jerked in the sheets.
"No," benrey caught some of gordon's desperate mutterings. "No, no, why-- they-- no-- Benrey!"
"what?" benrey said.
then benrey realized gordon was asleep. he was moving and talking in his sleep.
gordon screamed and benrey jumped a little. it was odd that gordon stayed in bed so much, if even then he could hardly get a moment's peace.
gordon groaned. he wasn't thrashing around anymore. he held himself up with the arm he had, and trembled, head drooping at his pillows. he gasped and cried softly.
not sure if gordon was still entirely asleep or not, benrey began low at first; the equivalent to a hum. blue orbs were sent and concentrated just a little past his mouth.
gordon’s body still shook. benrey came a few steps closer, so that the sweet voice would hover near gordon's head. benrey couldn't see his face, but it was reassuring to that see gordon quietly lay down. benrey kept singing, changing inflection only occasionally in order to attain a simple tune. he didn't stop until gordon's back was rising and falling rhythmically.
be observed gordon. his shape was sloping and gentle, exposed by blankets tossed aside. only when the glowing blue orbs evaporated into nothing, did benrey leave.
he backed out of the room slowly.
“Hello, Benrey.”
benrey whirled around. doctor coomer stood in front of benrey with his arms behind his back. his facial expression was inscrutible in the dark.
"I saw you in there. No ulterior motives, I hope?" doctor coomer chuckled. they stood in the silent darkness for an elongated moment.
coomer’s mouth opened with a sigh, "You've caused quite some harm to Mr. Freeman you know? It's going to take some time for all of us to get used to you being here. Especially Gordon… I haven't the slightest idea why he brought you back. When he was just beginning to get better."
"Perhaps it's selfish for me to care about Mr. Freeman because of what he did for us. When I realized what I was… what I was a part of … it pained me to think that the relationship Gordon and I had might have been artificial all along. And that when he finished the game there would be… nothing."
benrey pursed his lips and waited for doctor coomer to get to the point. he didn’t really like listening to coomer berate him with flowery wordiness.
the doctor broke his intense gaze when he had said this, looking forlorn and to the side. then he looked back at benrey. "However, Mr. Freeman proved it was more than that. He treats me as if I'm real. And he brought us out of the game. I'd like to believe it was because he cared deeply about each and every one of us… but… he brought you back too."
silence suffocated the hallway. another new feeling spawned within him. in his stomach, something creeping and underlying that made him squirm.
"Looking back on it, Gordon and I had some wonderful memories together. But I've also realized a lot of his experience was far from pleasant. And Gordon doesn't need to be reminded of it anymore than he already is."
doctor coomer tilted his head up to meet benrey's height.
"You should know that I'm not the only one who wouldn't hesitate to get rid of you if any harm were to come to Mr. Freeman."
benrey’s throat went dry. he tried to move past doctor coomer but a few steps down the stairs and there was a hand tightening around his forearm.
“Do you understand that, Benrey?” doctor coomer whispered. he squeezed tighter and benrey couldn’t tug himself free.
“yes,” said benry. his feet were teetering on the edge of a step as he twisted and pulled. “let go of me."
he stumbled a few steps down the stairs when coomer released him. he didn't look back at coomer until he made it to the bottom of the stairs, past the corner that led to the kitchen. his breath was lodged in his throat. coomer faced gordon's door with his arms neatly folded behind him once more. over and over coomer's tellings echoed in benrey's mind as he slinked away.

hi hi! you are hands down my favorite transformers imagines blog omg 🥺 if you have the time maybe something with minimus and the liason both having crushes on each other but thinking they dont have a chance with the other? perhaps an awkward confession. i am a sucker for mutual pining. thank you so much! :D
BUT THERE ARE SO MANY HOW CAN I BE YOUR FAVORITE ASDFGHJLL You all flatter me and give me so many emotions I swear
Tumblr media
More importantly thank you for allowing me to indulge one of my ultimate robot crushes.
Minimus, ever a bot who found solace in rules and logic, had long been confident his emotions were well under his control. While he was certainly not perfect, he'd indeed managed to keep himself from indulging in flights of fancy like others so often did. It had been something he'd found private pride in for a long time.
Then you'd shown up.
Of course he'd wanted to be friendly with you, the ambassador for your species and a kind individual in your own right, but things had gotten out of hand. His spark had started to warm whenever he saw your smile... His knees had grown weak when you'd laughed at his first successful joke... His face had erupted in a blush when you innocently brushed a hand against his... Primus, he was a wreck! Sensible thoughts melted into incomprehensible fog at your presence, making his duties harder and harder to fill when all he wanted was to spend time with you.
It was absurd for a grand multitude of reasons, chief of which being you weren't even the same species. There was no way he could hope to make such a relationship work, and deep down he knew that, no matter how much it hurt. He'd keep things buried for your sake. After all, a friendship with you was hardly a consolation prize, and he didn't want to pressure you with the burden of his silly feelings.
...
You'd expected many wonderful things upon joining the Lost Light, and had definitely received everything you were hoping for and for. Incredible adventures, fantastic discoveries, and wonderful friendships were just some of the treasures you'd cherish for life. However, one thing in particular stood out the most.
You'd not been planning on falling in love with someone, especially of an entirely different species.
Though you barely came to his knee, Minimus made you feel larger than life, and that is only the beginning. From his polite mannerisms to his quick wit and to his charming voice, the bot has you completely smitten. There's just no denying it. You can still recall the first time he lifted you in his cupped palms for easy conversation, and how gentle he'd been as you had finally been eye level with those beautiful optics... To this day it makes your heart flutter.
But what hope is there anything will come from it? You're a human, and while he's quite friendly with you, there's no reason to think he'd ever be interested. For now you have to be accepting of that, because losing his friendship is just unthinkable. You're okay with keeping things to yourself if it means you can stay his friend.
...
The nebula swirling in his bedroom window was the most beautiful thing either of you had ever seen, and in an instant you both came to the same decision. You had to let the other know.
"Minimus?" you said softly, keeping your gaze out the window as you sat beside him. He didn't look either as he replied, but you knew you had his full attention.
"Yes, Y/N?"
Brushing your hand against his, you watched the cluster of purple gases continue to drift by, knowing that it was larger than your own solar system several times over. That magnitude helped to put things into perspective, but your heart continued to hammer away regardless. "I have something to tell you..."
The sensation of your tiny palm pushing against his made his spark flare in his chest, the heat and energy threatening to make him dizzy as he nodded. He knew how he wanted this to go, and he knew what he wanted you to say, but he didn't know if you were really going to say it. Perhaps he was allowing his wants to completely warp his perception of the situation. But Primus, he just couldn't bear to wait anymore.
"I have something I need to disclose as well. But please, go first."
You prayed that was a sign you were reading this correctly. Taking a hold of one of his digits, you swallowed down the horde of butterflies in your stomach, and tried to speak as best you could.
"I've... I know we've been friends for a while... That is... You'd describe us as friends, right?"
Taking your tiny hand in his, he looked away from the window and directly to you, a million stars reflecting in his optics. You could never know how much he meant what he said. "Yes. You are my dearest friend, Y/N..."
"I've... For a while now, I've been thinking of us as more than friends."
He prayed you didn't see his optics dampen in the moment it took him to blink back the tears. "Oh?"
"I like you. A lot. A lot more than friends." you said, starting to tremble as the vulnerability hit you. "I know it's weird, but-"
"I adore you." he interrupted without hesitation, keeping one tiny hand of yours between both of his. With all the emotions he'd been holding back, he confessed his own thoughts on the matter, smiling as he did so. "There is nothing odd about it at all. I am quite close to you as well. Or at least, I would like to be, if you'll have me..."
"I would."
What happened next was automatic. Minimus took you into his cupped palms, and you settled into them naturally, happy in ways you couldn't explain as the mech lifted you up. Despite your tiny size, you came together without issue and pressed your lips to his. For a beautiful moment a everything the two of you had been hiding was shared. There was no longer any need for secrets...

can there be a second part of pld and the cheating girl? if not totally understand! i love your writing
TW: cheating
Lol I may or may not have gotten carried away this one
The Drabble in question can be found here
You let yourself slump against the steering wheel once you pulled into the parking lot. You just got off the phone with your boyfriend after fighting about something stupid. You’ve been dating for a year now, and lately you just couldn’t stop fighting. Every little thing he did upset you, and vice versa.
You made yourself take five minutes to collect yourself before you get out of the car to go to work. When you walk into your physio office you set your bag down and start to get into your routine of spraying and wiping down the table before the boys start rolling in. You’re working on three of the boys today before their game.
The first two come through with no issues and their normal routines. But you sighed when it came time for the third. Pierre-Luc Dubois - tall, muscular, and the reason for your current relationship problems. A few weeks ago one of your friends had come over for a girls night. A few glasses of wine later, your tipsy brain had let it slip that you found him very attractive. Unbeknownst to you, Sam was listening from your shared bedroom. From that moment, until the you stumbled up to the room, he had convinced himself that you were cheating on him - apparently not liking that your job consisted of having your hands on half naked men all day. He confronted you the next day. It took you awhile to convince him that it wasn’t true, but he eventually believed you. However, it still came up once in a while.
This morning he made a side comment about keeping your hands to yourself and you may or may not have lost it on him. You spent the whole drive thinking about how you were going to break up with Sam once you got home after the game. You ran through different scenarios in your head while you worked on Boone Jenner; would he take it well? Would he scream? Then you thought about who would gain custody of your puppy.
“Hey, (Y/N),” Pl says when he walks in.
“Hi Pl,” you respond, “Take your shirt off and sit on the bed,” you say as you turn and see he has already done so.
He grins at you and you roll your eyes, “Hockey players, you’re all nudists.”
“You don’t enjoy the view?” He says as he stretches on the exam bed. You have to tear your eyes away from the pale expanse of skin after you’ve been looking for probably a little too long.
You roll your eyes again to play it off before you start working on his shoulders. You are a professional, you’re used to the feel of taunt muscles under your hands but Pierre is just so damn good looking you let your mind wander. You think about what it would be like to run your hands under his body in a different circumstance, one where you could lean down, kiss the exposed skin of his throat, run your nails down his abs.
“You alright, (Y/N),” he asks, “Your grip is a little tighter than usual.”
“Sorry,” you apologize hastily, pulling your arms back quickly, “Just a lot of stuff on my mind.”
“It’s alright,” he says, “Anything you need to talk about.”
When you give him a look he flashes a smile at you, “C’mon, we’re friends, aren’t we.”
“I think I’m contractually obligated to say no.”
“I won’t tell anyone,” he grins, and his stupid smile wears you down.
“It’s nothing, just men really suck sometimes,” you say before you realize your talking to a man, “sorry.”
“Nah, I get it. I just got of the phone with my sister and she just gave me the ‘all men are trash’ speech.”
You laugh and change the subject before finishing Pl’s session.
~~~
Since you have to be there for the game you go for lunch with some of your colleagues instead of going home. You knew that Sam got the afternoon off today, and you were planning on spending time with him this morning, but now you have no desire to see his face.
By the time the game rolls around you do your pregame checks and ensure everyone is ready to go. Once puck drops you can relax, your job is done until the end.
The jackets win 5-3 and you join the boys for a quick celly in the lockers before you need to get back to your office and prep for the boys post-game checkups. Cam is first, wanting to check his shoulder quickly before going to his family. When the next person arrives you’re surprised.
“Pl, Were you scheduled with me?”
“No,” he says. He’s panting a bit, like he ran here, “Boone’s on his way, but I just wanted to let you know that I’m here for you.”
You just cock your head at him in confusion.
He walks closer to you, getting closer. You know you should back away, create space between the two of you, but you don’t want to. You let him get closer until hes inches away from you, let him hold your hands in his.
“I mean,” he leans close enough for you to feel his breath on your face, “I’m here if you ever want to...talk.”
You think he’s going to lean in all the way and kiss you. Do the one thing you’ve thought about since you first saw him, but he pulls away when he’s centimetres away from your lips.  He starts walking to the door, and you’re calling out to him before you can stop yourself.
“Pierre,” you call, “I’m parked in the employee parking garage, by the lamppost.  Meet me by my car, I’ll be 20 minutes, 30 tops.”
He gives you a small smile and a nod before he leaves. You lean against the desk to take some deep breathes to control yourself. Sam was basically your ex at this point. Spending the night with Pierre wasn’t cheating if you were going to break up with him right after, right? All these thoughts keep running through your head until you hear Boone knock at the door.
~~~
When you get out to the parking lot Pl is inside of his car, now pulled next to yours. He drove a spacious SUV - which might have been odd considering he was single with no kids, but perfect for your plans. When he sees you he steps out of the car.
As soon as you get near him you fist his jacket and pull him down to kiss you. He’s taken aback at first, but kisses you back with the same passion, pushing you back against his car. You reach behind you, fumbling until you can feel the door handle, and falling inside. His car is, thankfully, warm and the backseat provides enough space for your plans.
Once Pl is settled underneath you, you lean down to kiss him again, gripping the short hairs on the back of his neck.
“Fuck,” he grunts when you grind down on his lap, “You’re so fucking hot. I’ve wanted to do this since I’ve met you.”
He leans up, kissing your neck. He trails down and unbuttons your dress shirt on his way down. You grind down on his thigh again you stop him.
“Take off your pants,” you command, “I’ve been horny for hours, I just want your dick.”
He laughs but undoes his belt, but faulters when he starts on his zipper, “Fuck, do you have a condom?”
You pull one from your jacket pocket, “I swiped one from the supply closet.”
“Those are in there?” He asks as he takes the packet from you.
“I dont buy the supplies, I just use them.”
He gets the condom on and holds your hips while you lower yourself on. You let a deep breath as he bottoms out.
“Fuuuck,” you moan, “Your dick is so big, you’re going to have to give me a minute.”
“Take all the time you need,” he murmurs as he kisses your neck. He notices the way you moan when he kisses behind your ear so he does it again, scraping his teeth against it. His fingers rub along your hips as you star to rock back and forth.
You clench around him and he has to dig his nais into his palm to get a grip on reality again. He thrusts up to meet your hips, taking control back and setting the pace. He sets a quick pace, both of you too wound to take your time. Your hand comes down to brace yourself on the seat next to him. Your hair falls in your face, he reaches up to move it so he can lean up to kiss you.
He reaches between you to circle your clit. You moan, the sound muffled by his kiss.
“Pierre,” you moan as you feel that familiar pressure building up, “Don’t stop, please.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it baby,” he says.
A few thrusts later you’re cumming with a scream, biting down on Pl’s shoulder to muffle the noise. You fall limp against him, letting fuck you until he follows. You stay in the backseat, breathing heavy, lying against Pierre as you try to collect yourselves.
“You know,” Pierre says as after a few moments, “I thought you were just going to invite me for drinks.”
You laugh as you pull away from him, giving him a quick peck, “So was this as good as drinks?”
“Way, way better,” he says leaning up to kiss you again.
You make out for a few more minutes before you decide leaving is absolutely mandatory. You put his number in your phone before you finally get on the road to your apartment.
On the drive there you start to feel guilty. Sam never treated you wrong before, was always a god boyfriend - minus the last month. But you decided it was poetic; he thought you were cheating on him with pl but you only did because he was an ass.
When you get home he’s sleeping on the couch with your puppy in his arms, the TV playing quietly in the background. There’s some take out containers on the coffe table in front of him.
You grab the remote from under him, walking him up.
“Hey,” he says quietly when he recognizes you, “you’re home late.”
“Yeah, Boone’s hip took more time than anticipated,” you lie smoothly, “And I swear I kept my hands to myself.”
He presses his mouth into a thin line, “Fuck, I’m sorry about that.”
You roll your eyes as you move to pet your puppy but he catches your hand and looks at you with remorse, “I mean it. I don’t know what’s gotten into me these past few weeks. I’m so so sorry. When you didn’t show up for lunch today I realized I’ve been such a stupid jerk.”
“Yeah, you have been,” you say, fully intending to tell him off but something stops you when you look a him.
“No I mean it, I’m sorry,” he says as he grabs your hand, “I really hope you can forgive me. I was stupid and jealous and I was acting way out of line.”
You have to take a deep breath.
“Let’s put it past us, okay? let’s just move on. I know you’d never cheat on me, and I’d never cheat on you.”
“Okay.”
His face lights up, “Really?”
You nod your head, “I’m willing to give this another shot if you are.”
You bite your lip nervously as he pulls you in for a hug. He pulls you on top of his lap to give you a kiss and your muscles start to feel heavy with guilt. He starts to deepen the kiss but you have to pull away.
“Sam, baby, I’d love to but I’m really tired. I’ve had an extremely long day.”
He nods his head standing up and pulling you with him, “Of course, let’s go to bed.”
You plug your phone into the charger when you notice you have one message notification.
Pierre: Tonight was fun, but let me take you on a date so we can do it again

Headcanons for being Dr. Strange’s Apprentice
Stephen Strange x apprentice!reader
warnings:
a/n: for some reason i never retain any information from dr. strange stuff? so if this sucks its because i cant process it. i dont like how this one turned out i literally have no ideas
prompt: anonymous: “Hcs for being Dr. Strange’s apprentice?”
Tumblr media
you were led to become strange’s apprentice after a tragedy and a brush with death
you woke in the hospital with bad news, there were no other survivors in the accident you had just experienced
while you were recovering, a doctor came in to visit you
“hi, y/n. im doctor christine palmer, and im so sorry for your loss. but i think i know a guy that could help you through this”
she gave you an address that you sort of recognized
“177A bleecker street? isnt that the funky looking house in greenwich?”
“something like that, just trust me on this one”
“thank you, doctor”
at first, you were a bit skeptical, but you tried your odds and hobbled to the place on your crutches
when you knocked, a man in blue robes and a red cape answered
“can i help you, y/n?”
“oh, hi? sorry, a doctor at metro-general sent me here”
“doctor palmer, im aware”
“ah, she called ahead?”
“no. come in”
you were very weirded out
“so, what is this place? and who are you?”
“you ask too many questions”
“oh, okay”
from the moment this wizard met you, he saw himself in you
lost, hopeless, upset with the way the world had treated you
“to answer your earlier question, i am doctor strange, the sorcerer supreme”
“oh...i dont know what that means”
he found you somewhat funny
“in time, you will”
he looked back on the teachings of his former master to show you what it meant to start your training
you honestly didn’t know what to think of the kaleidoscope of the world projected in front of you
“are you ready to commit to your training?”
“sure...i mean, i dont have anything else to do”
a valid reason, truly
“your leg will heal naturally, your mind, on the other hand...”
“i know, i gotta do some spiritual shit to help myself”
“thats one what to put it”
it took some time for you to understand what it was that dr. strange was teaching
but once you grasped the puzzling concepts, you excelled
there was a fine contrast between you and your master
he was much more sophisticated than you, but he had a sense of humor
you were on the bubbly side, always goofing around with your magic
“y/n, how many times must i remind you that opening portals into the freezer for the ice cream is misuse of your magic”
“oh, come on! i just cant resist the hunka-hulka burnin’ fudge!”
“just...just walk to the kitche—did you seriously just grab it while i was telling you not to?”
*through a mouthful* “sohwry”
wong watches the two of your sorcerers converse often, it’s one of the only things that really makes him laugh
calling the cloak of levitation “cloakie”
it drives strange crazy dbshahhsh
but cloakie answers to it just fine
during battles, it sometimes flies away from your master to give you a quick assist
“thanks cloakie!”
being assigned “homework”
so much reading it could’ve driven you mad
strange explaining the eye of agamotto and the time stone to you
“now listen, this comes before everything else, you must learn to protect yourself because i’ll let you die before i lose this”
“what a comforting thought”
stephen was pretty up front with you
he didn’t like the way that the ancient one kept so many secrets, so he informed you and as much as you should know
“those yellow gloves look like you’re getting ready to wash the dishes” (no hate i actually liked them lmao)
meeting thor and loki!
“i think i’ll just send loki through the looping portal while i take care of business with his brother, would you mind keeping him some company?”
“i’d love to!”
and then you gracefully fell with him, he didn’t enjoy your presence very much
stephen would tell you about his life before he became a sorcerer
all was well for a while after that but then lmaooo a famous scientist just happened to crash through the roof
“woah, you’re bruce banner! love your ice cream”
“not now, y/n”
“my bad”
meeting tony stark and just kind of...not vibing with him
but something about him seemed familiar
“no shit, sherlock” (seriously im mad i this wasn’t in a3 or a4)
epic battle on the streets of new york that led to your master being captured by aliens
you and wong went back to protect the sanctum, but you pitched in to help fight the real battle
much to the dismay of wong
and then wong dusted, so you were left to protect the sanctum
you missed your master very much
in the next five years, you did all you could to learn about your magic
and your skills proved spectacular
you suspected that you might need to take dr. strange’s place for good
until wong reappeared right in front of you
“hello again, y/n. did you miss me?”
“miss you? wong, i’ve been dying over here!”
“that seems like an exaggeration”
helping to open portals around the world (and galaxy) to get everyone to the big battle
and finding your master, all had become right once again
“doctor strange!”
“y/n! i have to say, im impressed at how you handled yourself after thanos”
“you mean youre happy i didn’t destroy the sanctum or become interested in. the dark dimension?”
“more or less”
a teamup to remember between master and apprentice
returning to the sanctum with strange
“did you move the relics around??”
“...i wanted to remodel”
i cant think of anything else???? im sorry shhshshshsh

SSA Hotchner: chapter 3 - undercover
TW: fluffy cuddling stuff, talk about a case (basic criminal minds stuff), talk about sexual assault, asphyxiation.
WC: 5,277
series masterlist
————————————————————————
it was now your first day of official work at the bau. once you walked through those doors everything was official. at least, as official as they could be since this was a trial run. regardless, you were a mixture of excited and nervous.
this could be the beginning of your dream job for you, or the exact opposite. it could be the beginning of the end of the job you've longed for since you were young.
thanks to a lot of visits to the bau since you were fired, you knew the routine of the others pretty well. you knew how they liked their coffee, what their favorite lunch spots were, and you kind of knew what they liked to do to help them unwind from a case.
jj liked to go home to her kids and will. she enjoyed the comfort of them, and needed the reassurance that not everything was dark and gloomy in the world she got when they ran up to with smiles on their faces. either that or a girls night with emily and penelope.
emily liked spending time with you. or really, just her loved ones. you helped ground her and aid her in the process of unwinding from all the stress that occurred during her time away. sometimes she would even just spend time with jj or aaron when you weren't available in the past.
penelope needed to rid her brain of the terrible images that crossed her screen on a daily basis. she needed to remind herself of the positivity and good things in the world that would be blind-sided by said images on her screen. in order to achieve this, she would spend time with emily or jj or morgan. she would often try to spend time with spencer as well, which he would be delighted in.
morgan liked going home to savannah. he would go home and not only relax himself, but also help his love relax after a long day in the er. he wanted to make sure they were both doing well, so they'd stay up cuddled on the couch most of the night just staring at the blank tv screen or talking about their days.
rossi liked the simpler things in life, so just going back to his mansion, cooking himself some pasta, popping open a bottle of red, maybe lighting a cigar, and he was perfect.
aaron liked spending time with jack and you. he, much like jj, wanted to be around his closest family and have that reassurance that they were okay.
spencer... had trouble unwinding from a case. when he got back, he would call his mom and on her good days he would tell her about how they stopped the bad guy and saved someone, on her bad days, it made his arrival even worse.
if the case didn't end well, the news that his mom wasn't doing well either was just the cherry on top of the worst sundae you could imagine.
so whether the days were good, or bad, he lost himself in books. he read, and read, and read. sometimes he would play chess against himself, or practice the keyboard, or spend time with penny.
after the most recent case, however, he called you.
"h-hey, y/n," he greeted shakily. he didn't really know why he called you. he wanted to talk to you after the case, next thing he knew he was boarding the jet with your voice in his ear.
"spencer! hi," you replied happily. "is the case over?" you wondered, closing the book you had been reading on your couch.
"yea, yea it's over now," he answered. "i was just um, wondering if you'd want to... i don't know. hang out? we're about to take off on the jet and should get back home in about an hour if there are no complications," he quickly asked, partially fearing the answer. he had talked himself up to asking you something all day. he wanted to talk to you, he just didn't really know how to start the conversation.
"umm, sure," you smiled against the phone. "do you want to come to my place? it's not too far from the bau."
"really?"
"yea, really. i'll send you the address and the gate code to come in," you informed him.
"okay, y-yea. do you want me to pick anything up? food? movie?" he asked as he settled into his seat on the jet, never being more grateful that he had gotten there especially early.
"snacks maybe? i have some movies here we could watch."
"sounds great! i'll uhm, i'll see you then."
"alright, see ya," you hung up the phone.
when spencer arrived, he had in hand a container of jello and rice crispy treats. you welcomed him inside, showing him where the kitchen was and giving him a tour of your house.
you ended up both settling on the couch, watching a french film you had gotten a while back, never bothering to watch it - subtitles were never really your thing. but now that you had spencer as a translator for what you couldn't understand, you would watch the movie over and over as long as he was there.
because he was your translator, you had to sit relatively close to each other. he was by the arm rest, you dangerously close to him. you could smell the scent of coffee off of his shirt, the sweet but masculine cologne wafting around you.
"well that sounds very lovey-dovey, huh?"  you whispered back, leaning into his ear slightly.
"uhm," he cleared his throat. "i promise i'll never leave you. you'll never be lonely again. you don't have to be afraid ever again. because i love you. i've always loved you. your beauty is..." he looked into your eyes as he spoke the next lines. "your beauty is indescribable. not just on the outside, because there is immeasurable beauty there also, but purely in your soul. your soul radiates the kind of beauty most only ever read about in novels to fantasize about. only the beauty that comes from your soul is so pure and desirable because it's real."
"wow, that um," you took a deep breath, gazing into his hazel eyes wondrously. "that sure is something out of a romance novel."
"y-yea. this movie is based off of a french novel, actually," he clarified, ruining the moment the two of you were sharing, probably for the better.
"i would expect nothing less," you smiled, scooting closer and resting your head on his shoulder. "i-is this okay?" you felt him taking a deep breath as he settled into your touch.
"yea, it's okay," he wrapped his arm around your shoulder, inevitably pulling you closer to him.
you two fell asleep like that, curled into each other. you didn't bother finishing the movie all too much after what happened, even though it wasn't much. when you awoke, your head was rested on his chest as your arms were wrapped around your torso. spencer's head was rested atop yours, his arms around your shoulders protectively. your legs were tangled together as you lay on top of him.
you never wanted to get up, scared that this would be a dream and last night wasn't real. the only thing promising the reality of last night was his touch on you right then. nevertheless, everything must come to an end eventually.
now, you wondered what your coping mechanism would be.
would you spend time with others? or would you retreat to your lonesome to hide from the darkness that surrounded everything? only time would tell, and time decided to let you figure that out relatively quickly because you had gotten your first case on your first day. great.
luckily, you had your go bag in your car, and were ready for basically anything.
"alright. this case is another doosy. if you thought the last one was creepy, this one... yikes," peneloped started to bridge into the briefing. "so there's been a string of murders along the west coast that have basically every college woman afraid for their lives. the girls were taken after college parties, missing for 8 days, and found wrapped entirely in plastic wrap and posed like... well just check your tablets," she motioned on the table at our devices.
"any evidence of-" morgan began.
"sexual assault? absolutely," penny quickly answered.
"the girls have what looks like ligature marks on their wrists and neck, strangulation maybe?" spencer spoke up.
"cause of death was asphyxiation, so that's a possibility," you relayed. "it's a really personal act. he wants to feel the life just... leave their bodies."
"we'll be able to figure more out when we analyze the crime scenes and the bodies. wheels up in 15," your bother announced promptly before you all rose and left the room.
one the plane ride there, you received information that yet another body was found. you and spencer were instructed to go to the morgue to analyze the new body and the previous ones.
obviously, you drove to the morgue.
looking at the bodies, something about there resemblance shocked you. you couldn't pinpoint what they reminded you of, but it was something. regardless, you had to focus.
the marks on their necks is what caused their death, strangulation. they had been restrained at the hands but not the ankles, so you thought there was probably a chain on the ceiling.
you were still trying to figure out what the bodies reminded you of, until the m.e. spoke up.
"y'know, this might be odd, but you kind of look like the victims. i mean the hair, bone structure, height, build, even eye color," she said, squinting her eyes at you as if she were studying your appearance. "sorry, that is kind of weird," she said as she blinked away from you.
"so that's where i recognize them," you whispered to yourself.
"you saw it too?" spencer asked, turning to face you.
"i mean, i thought they looked familiar but i just didn't know where from. apparently they just remind me of a mirror," you joked, nobody else finding it very funny. "right, serious."
"does that not worry you?" the m.e. asked confused.
"well, i'm not really a college girl that's going to parties, now am i?" you asked in return, not finding where the worry should settle in.
"you'll be okay. besides, i doubt hotch would let anything bad happen to you," spencer agreed.
"and i can take care of myself," you replied. "i'm not just hotch's little sister. i've earned my spot on the team and can fight my own battles when necessary," you sassed back at spencer.
"i-i didn't mean to make it sound like you couldn't. i w-was just trying to uhm, mention that he woul-wouldn't... i'll just stop talking now," he pressed his lips into a thin line, shoving his hands into his pockets.
"good idea, genius," you said, patting his chest comfortingly as you gave him a pretty smile. "now, i think we're done here."
"yup. you're right," spencer agreed.
"wow, you're a quick learner," you laughed as you made your way to the exit.
"you two are such a cute couple," the m.e. told spencer before he left behind you.
"i wish," he sighed with a smile before following you out of the door, glad you couldn't hear any of what just happened.
later that night, you were all sitting in the makeshift conference room, trying to piece together enough information for a profile. apparently there wasn't much information found at the crime scenes since the bodies were just placed there randomly.
spencer was instructed to build a geographical profile while the rest of the team delivered the behavioral profile.
once spencer had finished the geo profile, you had given all of the aspects to add to her search. sadly, you still had around 10 suspects that could be your unsub.
so now, sitting at the table with our team, you were all out of ideas. except for morgan.
"okay, guys i hate to say this, but i think we're all thinking it," he spoke up. "y/n looks like the victims."
"no. we aren't going there," aaron spoke up.
"aaron, come on. you know it's not a bad idea," you replied, trying to calm him down before he blew up.
"no. it's a terrible idea. it's your first case, and you've never gone undercover like this before. absolutely not," he rebuted.
"actually, i have gone undercover before," you spoke up. "you forget i used to be a lawyer. i had to be cutthroat in order to prove myself, so i would go undercover to try and get the most information i could. and most of the times, i went undercover with dangerous, narcissistic men. i just didn't tell you because i knew how you'd react," you finished.
"what?" he replied with anger. "regardless, i don't want you to be out with a murderer who rapes and kills women that look like you."
"you really think i haven't done that before? aaron, i can handle myself and you know it," you were getting more and more frustrated by the second.
"let's just all get some rest and discuss this tomorrow," he angrily stood up and exited the room, the rest of the team following him to the cars to go to the motel.
you sighed and dropped your head into your hands. you felt a hand on your shoulder, looked up to find spencer smiling awkwardly at you as he sat in the seat beside you.
"you belong here, y'know," spencer reassured you. "i-i try not to profile the team, but i don't think it takes a profiler to realize when someone's trying to prove themself," he said as he removed his hand from your shoulder, opting to put it in his lap instead.
"i know i do, it's just frustrating when i know that he just wants to protect me. i mean, he always has since we were younger and my dad would... he always would protect me," you corrected yourself. "i just wish he would realize i'm not a little girl anymore."
"i think he knows that. i mean, you've worked so hard to get where you are now, i think it'd be hard not to realize that," spencer replied firmly. "he'll come around."
"i hope so," you agreed. "we should probably go before the decide to just not get us any rooms."
"right," he said as he followed you out of the room, hopping in the passenger seat of the car as you drove the both of you to the motel. when you parked in the lot, you checked your phone to see if anyone sent you both the passcodes to get into your rooms.
a<3: sorry about earlier. i know you can handle yourself. i just don't want you to get hurt. also, you're rooming with reid. room number 4 and the code is 9836. if he tries anything i won't hesitate to put him on restriction.
you: i understand, and thank you. also, i doubt he'd try anything, but ME on the other hand... ;)
"so, looks like it's your lucky day. we're roommates tonight," you said with a smile.
"oh-i-uhm, right. s-sounds good," he smiled again.
"i'm just kidding, doc," you nudged his shoulder a bit. "not about the roommate part though. we are rooming together," you clarified, he nodded as you both hopped out of the car and went to into the room after spencer insisted on grabbing the both of your bags to carry inside. "how home-ey."
"it's better than some of the places we've stayed at," spencer shrugged as he placed his and your bags on the old-looking couch.
"and at least there are two beds," you shrugged.
"you can take the bathroom first," spencer spoke up as he pulled a book from his bag. "which bed do you want?" he asked.
"whichever you don't take is fine," you said as you got all of your toiletries.
"ok, i'll take the one closer to the door."
"sounds good with me, doc. i'll hurry," you said as you shut the door, allowing yourself to relax into the steaminess of the shower.
the water pressure wasn't the best, but it was better than you've felt before. you quickly showered and brushed your teeth before submitting the bathroom to spencer.
as sleep finally overtook your body, you couldn't help but feel a bit nervous about what the next day would entail. sure, you had done undercover work before.
last time you went undercover, you had been working on a murder case as a favor for one of your friends. you had needed solid evidence that the defendant was guilty, and the only way to do that was to go into his house to find it yourself.
so like any committed lawyer would do, you innocently met him at a bar. he ended up inviting you over to his place thanks to your natural charm.
while in his house, you made sure to record everything that went down (no, nothing sexual happened) and he let you sleep in his guest bedroom. you got up once you were sure he wasn't awake anymore and started looking for that evidence you needed.
his alibi wasn't completely solid, but everyone believed him when he was on the stand. naturally, you were looking for something that would disprove his alibi. what you found was something much, much worse.
snuff film.
he had a snuff film of him killing this person. and another. and another. and another.
what you took the flash drives, stashed them in your bra, and got the hell out of there.
needless to say, you won the case.
that was the scariest time you went undercover. not only did you find out he was the murderer, you found out he was a serial killer. your mind was telling you that he would wake up at any second, and you'd become another person on a flash drive.
luckily, that's not what happened.
the next day, you would march up to your brother and convince him that you could handle yourself.
aaron knew you could handle yourself. he knew how strong and smart you were, obviously. he could never discredit you on that. you're one of the fiercest person he knows. he just worries for you all the time, reasonably so because of your childhood. he's your protector.
and you knew that his heart was in the right place, you just wanted to be treated as any other person on the team and be allowed to prove yourself by going undercover.
when you woke up, notably before spencer, you first got yourself ready. you wore black jeans with a navy button up and your utility belt. you made sure to put your hair up and then made your way down to get you and spencer some coffee.
once you got back in the room you noticed that spencer was still asleep. you walked over to his bed after setting down the coffee. sitting on the empty side on the bed, you admired his features.
no wonder he was called pretty boy. he was a truly pretty person, even when he was still asleep. from his adorable button nose to the plump lips he licked so often, there was no imperfection to him. you brushed his hair out of his face, relishing in the softness of his gorgeous locks.
"spencer," you whispered in a sing-song voice. "i've got your coffee," you said as you began to rub his scalp with your nails.
"mmm," he groaned. he rotated his body so he was laying on his back as he slowly opened his eyes. "hi," he mumbled quietly.
"good morning, doc," you laughed softly, not stopping your ministrations on his head.
"that feels really nice," he sighed, trying to savor the feeling of your hands in his hair.
"does it, doc?" you said as he moved his head to lay in your lap.
"mmhmm. don't stop yet," he pleaded as his arms wrapped around your body.
he was cuddly in the mornings, duly noted.
"it's only 6 a.m., so you have a little while before you need to start getting ready," you announced as you started using the other hand to massage his shoulder and neck, working your way up into his hair.
"hmmm, good," he mumbled into your stomach.
spencer would probably regret being so touchy later on today, but his morning brain couldn't let him stop. that, mixed with the way your hands felt on him was all too much. he couldn't not let you keep going.
"i never knew you were so touchy, spencer," you giggled a bit as his arms tightened around you before releasing his grip.
"i-i'm sorry," he was going to move his head from your lap before you gently stopped his by grabbing his shoulders, keeping him in place.
"don't be," you said, he automatically relaxed after. "it's not uncomfortable for me. i just thought you were averse to touch, is all," you clarified.
"i guess it's just with new people," he admitted. "you're not exactly new. and that really does feel really nice," you ran your hands from the front of his head down to the base of his neck.
"i used to do this for a few of my girl-friends when they were stressed with pre-law. they would come to me for help studying and for the scalp massages," you laughed out as spencer took your torso in his arms again, nuzzling his face into your body.
"that's very smart of them. i didn't have many friends in college since i was so young," he whispered.
"well i'd like to think we would've been friends," you began to braid his hair. "do you think we would've?"
"i'm not sure. probably not." he admitted with a shrug.
"well why do you think that?" you ran your hands through the braid to undo it.
"because you're just so... perfect?" he admitted quietly, tightening his hold on you as if you'd disappear from his admission.
"i'm really not perfect, spence. i promise," you chuckled as you began massaging his shoulders.
"yes you are. i'm convinced that there's nothing wrong with you. it's like you're not... real?" he sighed as you began pressing your fingers into his sore shoulders.
"i'm real, alright. and i have flaws. i have plenty," you admitted to him softly. "you just haven't seen them yet, doc."
"i'll believe it when i see it," he laughed as he sat up to face you. "nothing's wrong with you, y/n. i hope you know that," he smiled kindly.
"well at least you think so," you grinned in return. "how about we get you that coffee? it might be cold by now but it's exactly how you like it," you said as you got up to grab the cup from the nightstand, handing it to him.
"thank you," he took a sip of it slowly. "you know how i like my coffee?" he asked in disbelief.
"mhmm," you shrugged. "it's not like you get some every day in the office," you laughed.
"nobody's ever... why... how?" he tried to articulate his gratefulness.
in all actuality, nobody's ever really cared enough about him to do something as miniscule as get him a cup of coffee exactly how he likes it.
such a small thing that you've done, paired with your calm exterior and nonchalant attitude about it all just made his heart well.
not only have you woken him up in the best way possible, you've done the most simple, kind act of getting him a cup of coffee.
the entire situation seemed so... domestic. foreign. lovely.
"why're you so surprised?" you smiled softly at him.
"it's just... thank you," he said as he finally got out of bed.
once spencer was done getting ready, you both headed down to the lobby together where you were greeted by the rest of the team. aaron walked up to you, pulling you away from the group as you said your 'good morning's'.
"are you sure about this?" he asked, brows raised in concern.
"about going undercover?" you asked for clarification.
"you have to be confident that you can do it, y/n. otherwise i won't send you in at all," he demanded.
"yes. i'm sure," you nodded eagerly.
"okay. we'll come up with a plan soon. if you have any doubts let me know," he ordered.
"i will. i promise," you agreed. "thank you," you said as you hugged his waist gratefully, his arms wrapping around your shoulders in return.
"yea, yea, yea," he laughed. "just be careful, y/n/n."
"aren't i always?" you smirked as you pulled back.
after you had profiled the remaining 10 men, you had all agreed that there was one man that stuck out as suspicious. lucas stillwater. you asked around the college campus if there were any parties going on that night, there only being one that the unsub would be visiting.
the unsub was living off-campus. he had an ex-girlfriend who died last year, the anniversary being right before the murders started. he would make the girls act as his girlfriend would during their relationship, hence the sexual assault.
ultimately, you would try to lead him on. you would flirt with him, make it seem like you were interested, then reject him once he asks you out or for more. he would follow you home, to a place you had set up a couple hours back, and try to attack you in there.
you were wearing something his ex-girlfriend amy would wear. it was a baby pink, almost white, halter dress that cinched slightly at your waist, flowing out a bit at your hips only to stop right above your mid-thigh. you paired that with a pair of white high block heels, and wore a silver necklace and rings. you added some mascara, lip gloss, and blush to have that innocent look amy did.
walking out of the motel room once you were ready, you made sure to leave your gun in the room. aaron had told you to leave it there since this guy wanted you to flirt with him, he might get touchy and him finding the gun would freak him out.
"damn, y/n," morgan greeted you.
"damn is right," emily agreed. "you look hot!"
"oh, thanks," you laughed as you tried to pull the dress down a bit. "it's a bit short," you winced.
"you look great, y/n," jj agreed, you smiled sweetly at her.
"oh, w-wow," spencer said as he walked into the motel lobby to see you standing there.
you turned around to see him staring at you wide-eyed. he felt his heart stop at the sight. you in the baby pink short dress, looking all innocent in something like that did... things to him.
"hey, spencer," you smiled at him, that smile he already found himself so fond of.
"i uhm, i'm supposed to g-go to the party. to uhm, to watch you for so-some backup," he stuttered out.
"need some water?" you giggled at his nervousness.
"pretty boy, you likin' pretty girl all of a sudden?" morgan teased, walking over to pat him on the back.
"i-what?" spencer asked at the question, morgan shaking his head.
"leave the man alone," emily defended him. "it's not his fault y/n looks like that," she laughed out.
"oh shut up," you rolled your eyes at the banter. "where's aaron?"
"he's about to be here with rossi," jj informed you.
"right, thanks," you walked outside to get some fresh air before you had to leave.
were you nervous? yes. who wouldn't be when they're about to face a killer. would you tell anyone? no. you didn't need them doubting you on your first case, especially when you practically volunteered to go undercover.
you could do this. you knew you could. you just needed some fresh air.
"y/n?" you heard the voice come from behind you. you turned around to see spencer right in front of the door.
"yea? what is it?" you asked, almost out of breath from just standing there.
"you just seemed... anxious when you came out here," he almost whispered. "i just wanted to make sure that you're uhm, that you're okay."
"oh, right. i'm sorry," you chuckled, taking a deep breath. "i'm alright."
"you know you don't have to act like you're always okay?" he said, walking to where you stood in front of a bench motioning for the both of you to sit down. "i mean, you're about to go head to head with a serial killer. it's alright to be a bit nervous."
"i know it is, i just... it's my first case. i have to prove myself," you shrugged as you sat beside him. "if i mess this up, what'll that say about my placement on the team?"
"it'll say that you tried your best. it'll say that we need to make you feel more welcome here," he indulged. "if you do mess up, as long as we're here to help it'll be alright. you don't need to be perfect all the time. that's unrealistic."
"i know you're right. it'll be okay," you sighed.
"you'll be okay. nothing bad will happen to you whether or not we get to arrest him. i swear to you," he took your hand in his and squeezed it lightly.
"thank you, spencer," you turned to look into his eyes.
gazing into each others eyes, you subconsciously moved closer to his side. he wrapped his free hand around to move a stray hair behind your ear, you nuzzled your head into his touch.
before you knew it, the car with aaron and rossi was pulling into the parking lot, jolting you and spencer to opposite sides of the bench.
"hey, y/n," rossi greeted you. "how're you feeling?"
"good, ready," you nodded after clearing your throat.
"no second guessing?" aaron had asked.
"nope. none at all," you shook your head, your hands placed behind your back.
"has spencer told you that he's going to be there with you?" you nodded at rossi's question. "good. he's the second youngest so he'll fit in there. kind of."
"what's that supposed to mean?" spencer walked closer the the three of you.
"oh, nothing, doc," you giggled.
"alright, well the rest of the team knows the plan," he began explaining. "we're gonna head up there in this car while the others take a separate one. spencer will go in before you. once you both are inside you should look for lucas. make sure he's the one to approach you," aaron finished.
"make him come to me, got it," you nodded along. "let's get going, yea?" you said as you made your way to the car.
"are you ready for this, y/n?" rossi asked in his father-tone voice.
"i'm more than ready. i've got this," you told him.
you could only hope that you were right.

The Last Day
tw: mention of bloodshed, mental health struggles and alcohol.
*Not the last chapter dont worry, next will be last.
Chapter 9:
Eivor’s POV
I tend to reminisce on the past, my parents, Sigurd, the clan and the times when my family was whole. With the cold whip of the wind and the iridescent reflections in the sky, Norway will forever be my home. Even distant England holds a place within my heart as well as the family I built there. The answer to my hunger lies within myself and whether or not to go back to what I know or stay by the woman beside me. A choice between my honor and the person who I’ve grown to love the most. Though time keeps changing constantly, the recent past loops repeatedly in my head. These days I find myself staring at the walls, the ceiling and the emptiness around me. The dark realization that I have no purpose here, or do I? Life was peaceful but I missed the blade of my ax, I missed the bloodshed. I spent my whole life achieving greatness in what I knew, It was what I was bred for. There was an unspoken oath I took the day I was removed from my mother's womb.
A feeling of guilt always succeeded me, every passing day. What exactly I left behind and what the consequences would be. I have to remind myself that I would have died if It wasn’t for Y/n saving me. I understand now that the technologies that I have here were needed for my survival. Just herbs, alcohol and bandages wouldn’t have been enough to stop the life-threatening wounds I had. I was beaten, bruised and cut so badly I was nearly in a comatose state of mind. Even now, I still get flashbacks to that day and the fight. As a drengr, I’ve grown more and more cold to the idea of war and violence but there will always be something about that specific day. I can't seem to shake the feeling that it hasn’t ended and only more is to come.
Whilst I’ve been adjusting to modern life, I’ve turned to the bottle more times than I should. There have been days where I’ve fallen asleep on the couch, no recollection of even trying to get up yet I always wake up in bed with a blanket over my body. I can’t bear the thought of Y/n supporting me so I found honest work as a carpenter. With a few tweaks, I adjusted fine along with the help of co-workers and friends I made along the way. I feel I’ve become a shell of a being, the impact of everyday life burdens me. It’s not fun anymore, it's real and every day. The walk back home was loud and the people I found strange weren’t so odd anymore. I knew the truth within me, that I had become one of them too. I was almost always alone with my thoughts now that Y/n had started work again. Her hours tended to be late and tedious. She was the only thing keeping my sanity, everyday I drew a breath was for her. With the looks we shared, I wondered if she knew my real thoughts. My melancholic sulking was interrupted when a woman bumped shoulders with me and stopped me in my tracks. When I turned I recognized a familiar face waiting for me.
Reader’s POV
I was shocked when I came home, to say the least. The air was quiet, telling of the predicament I had placed myself in. I never thought I’d see Eivor and Valka sitting down together in my house. The silence was so loud, I couldn’t place my finger on exactly what but there was a feeling within me that knew why she was here. At first glance, she seemed unrecognizable but with a closer look, I recognized her right away. She looked almost the same with a more present-day twist to fit in. Faint freckles danced on her warm skin along with the intensity of her usual solemn expression. Her hair was pulled back and her eyebrows were as thick and beautiful as I remembered. She wore a light tan dress, she would never stray too far from her traditional taste. Valka wouldn’t have come this far for anything, a gut-wrenching feeling consumed me. I placed my belongings on a table near me and the three of us gathered around one another, the silence eating me alive.
“I want to make this as straightforward and honest as possible. We needed you then like we need Eivor now. Without you, Eivor would indefinitely no longer be with us. Ever since Eivor’s absence, the Danes and Saxons have grown only more divided.”
You could cut the tension in the room with a knife. Eivor had a worrisome look on her face, one that I had never seen before. Her eyes roamed around the room as If looking for some sort of distraction, maybe even a way out. I kept her sheltered here all this time and even though I’ve enjoyed every moment I still carry around a lot of guilt with me. The fact that I removed her from all that she knew tore me apart from the inside every day no matter how necessary. Perhaps, Eivor was meant to die there that day and her people’s fate was meant to be sealed. The realization that I could be in the process of ultimately changing the past suddenly struck me. Valka had more to say, a proposal I presumed to be made.
“If my visions are correct, Eivor is the key. My most recent discovery is that time changes throughout different realities and dimensions. It has been only a short amount of time for the both of you but It’s been years for us. Time passes slowly when maneuvering into the future but faster into the past.”
Everyone I met from the clan, I caused Eivor to completely leave them in the dark for years. I didn’t want to admit it but I knew exactly what Valka was getting at. These were Eivor’s last days with me if not the last day. As much as it pains me, she belongs in the past and I belong here. I screwed with time too much already, there are now two people out of place in the world. It’s almost as if Valka is an extraterrestrial being with the powers she holds and her ability to jump in between dimensions as if it were nothing. She had a natural aura about her almost like she could fit in anywhere she went and no one would have any suspicions. I've walked by Eivor’s side this entire time and I can't say the same for her. The road has been difficult and long, I can only imagine the toll it’s taking on her health.
The meeting with Valka was brief until she pulled only Eivor aside to talk to. I figured it wasn’t my business anyway since I was only one part of the story. As nosey as I was, I still tried to hold my breath to listen to their conversation but only whispers and mumbles could be heard. From the side of my peripheral vision, I saw Eivor and she looked stressed beyond all means. She was safe here and content whether she was happy or not and now she has one of the greatest burdens on her shoulders to deal with. A lump formed in my throat, I worried if there was still love between us at least on her end but it could just be my insecurities eating at me. For all, I know this is Eivor’s chance to be done with me and only I to be forgotten. Oh, but I could never forget her or the moments we share. Valka’s footsteps could be heard coming towards me as she came to say her farewells. When I stood up from my seat to make formal eye contact with her, I noticed her posture was straight and confident. I decided to keep my distance because I knew that I grew some sort of attachment to Valka as well. Not much could be said on my end, the decision is up to Eivor only.
Valka left and with her absence, the room grew eerily quiet. I couldn’t face Eivor, just seeing her face made me upset and wrapped in a whelm of emotions. Whenever the world became too much I always escaped outside. Like a coward, I ran towards the sliding door near the back of my apartment trying to hide my oncoming tears that were building up. The rays of the sun hit my skin and the sunset shone down on my face leaving a warm feeling on my cheeks. Tears started to roll down my face and I wiped it off with my shirt sleeve leaving a mess of a damp spot on the fabric. I felt selfish for crying, selfish because I never wanted someone all to myself so badly before. Being alone with my thoughts just caused me to feel them even more intensely, I allowed myself to be consumed by them. Suddenly, I heard what I knew was Eivor’s footsteps shuffling towards me. Quickly, I dried my tears and composed myself within a short time before Eivor stood close behind me.
“You don't have to hide it, I already can tell.”
I've had this moment a thousand times, the one where I try to look like I haven’t just bawled my eyes out. It never fails to completely embarrass me every time. When I turned around I noticed the sun beamed on her skin perfectly and every feature on her face could be seen clearly. She had her hair down, a relaxed look presuming she just got home not too long ago. Her eyebrows were pursed together as if she was studying me and trying to figure out what was on my mind. Eivor was like my guardian angel, always following me through my misfortunes and being my number one support. Truth be told, even if she went I was scared for her and if she could make it through this one. Her wounds were completely healed at this point, but I knew the damage it leaves on the mind is forever permanent.
She pulled me closer to her and wiped the wet spot on my cheek with her thumb. In her eyes, I could tell she was worried whether she admitted it or not. At the moment I catch her off guard her true feelings always show on her face and as soon as her eyes met mine she switched them off. I wanted to be honest with her and tell her my true feelings, how I felt about this situationship we involved ourselves in. My feelings had grown so strong since I met her and I realized I never once told her those three words. The more I tried to force words out of my mouth the more I felt the urge to cry again. Sure enough, tears started to fall down my eyes and my body kept telling me to let go of everything. Eivor brought me tightly into her chest and wrapped her arms around me, reluctant to release me. I heard her say something, mumbling under her breath. When I asked for reassurance as to what she said, she didn't hesitate or move.
“I love you.”
Eivor’s POV
The burden that's been placed upon my shoulders is a heavy one but I’m willing to face it. If I die going back I know that I’ll go in peace and with honor. Though it may have taken some time, I feel that Y/n understands that as well. Not to the degree that a drengr would but to the best of her abilities. She tried her best for me and I devote myself to trying my best for her. I was unsure of a lot of things in my life, but I knew no matter where this life led me that I wanted her there by my side. The sunlight was dying but the night was still young. Knowing it would be our last night here, we decided to savor it together. We did what we do best by getting wine drunk and cranked the volume on the speakers up so loud without a care of who was trying to sleep. The frown that was on her face earlier turned into smiles and laughs as she watched me attempt to dance. I always felt like I could have fun with her and be myself, not so serious all the time. She was a lightweight compared to me, already stumbling a little. Seeing her let loose was cute and showed me a side of her I haven’t seen before. I leaned in closer to her, truth be told she was looking extra sweet tonight. Her beauty was effortless and she didn’t even have to try to turn me on.
“Let me see you dance, I love to see you dance… Take you down another level and get you dancing with the devil.”
I placed my hands on her hips and she wrapped her arms around my shoulders. I did my best to lead her and sway with the music and It seems I was doing a good job once her cheerful eyes turned into a sultry spark. I pushed my torso closer to her, leaving that space between us no longer. A thousand intrusive thoughts crossed my mind, the most alluring one being that I could die right here and be happy. It’s the feeling moments before making love that is my favorite. My hands started to trace the outline of her body and my mind started to piece together what she looked like underneath the fabric from fond remembrance. Everything that brought me to her was worth it along with every obstacle in between. She leaned in to whisper in my ear and her voice had a noticeable nervous tremble.
“Take me with you…”
Reader’s POV
I said goodbye to everything I knew for the last time, this time the choice is mine willingly. Just a few months ago I would have never thought I’d be here and on my way to the place where it all happened. Where I met the love of my life and my impending future, the events that were to take place. The temperatures dropped so low at night, the bite of the cold felt bitter on my skin. Foolish me, I never take a cover-up anywhere I go. Luckily Eivor was close by and wrapped her jacket around me due to me being visibly upset by the weather. The cold never bothered her, I could feel the heat radiating from under her body when she hovered her arms over my shoulders to place her jacket. The stones were so close yet we hadn’t dared move within their reach. If I was to be honest with myself, I was nervous to go back. Perhaps, they would be upset with me for leaving so suddenly and taking Eivor along with me. It felt like just yesterday I was in England waiting for Eivor’s return by the ship dock.
Something within me felt like I was making the right decision and that this is the fate that was meant for me all along. Regardless of how twisted and strange it may be, I was ready. The entire time being here, Eivor constantly griped and moaned about how she missed home. For once, she was quiet. I always loved how expressive she tended to be with her face, studying everything like a hawk. She needn’t say much, I could tell what she was thinking about. Anxiety, sadness, and excitement all meshed together forming an array of emotions.
Eivor was a step ahead of me, venturing into the stone's embrace as I followed just behind her. Time seemed to pass more slowly, if not coming to a complete end. Throughout this whole experience, I realized that time wasn’t real. The people, the cultures and the history of the past all lived harmoniously with the present. It didn’t feel like I was traveling through time itself but rather visiting a different distant place on the same Earth. Families, lovers and enemies just the same as what we have today. Eivor’s hand met mine and there we held them together. The outline of the scars on the skin of her forehand and all that she endured in her life, a beautifully written story on her body could be felt. Eivor whispered something in her mother's tongue, something I couldn’t understand.
We both kneeled with our backs towards a tall large stone, huddled together with a cold and eerie feeling in the air. Eivor wrapped her arms around mine and we let whatever happened to be just that. I felt safe no matter where this life took me, I knew Eivor would be near. I was ready to live the remainder of my life with her in the past. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that I thought of what our life was going to be like together and what our future held. Daydreams and fantasies that I wonder if she too thought of. Passing through a time portal was invisible, you could never really tell if you traveled or not. Something between reality and falsity merged, undetected by the universe itself. I closed my eyes and laid my head to rest in the crook of Eivors shoulder, letting my mind go blank.
