Rip to King Randor, Skeletor is freaking KELDOR, KING RANDOR’S LONG LOST HALF BRO who was banished and made a deal with HORDAK (hopefully we’ll see Adora/She-Ra and her Etheria crew in the next season🤞🏾) and became Skeletor ergo THEY’RE THE SAME PERSON, Lyn really came through and made up for her HUGE mistake from the last season, and the Teela x Adam ship officially sailed in the most SUPER FREAKING WAY! I’m an in awe! I am amazed! The writers and the artists CONTINUE to do their big ones with this franchise and it just makes me wonder how they’re going to top themselves next season!

^ some theatre costume designs that inspired Flynn's outfit. originally I wanted more of a pierrot motif, but I went with a sortof celestial angel to match nate's fiery devil. I do want to draw them all as pierrots one day...

my friend asked about the "costume" part of this - terence is not wearing a "halloween costume" per se, because he thinks he's too mature for costumes (haha). hence the star moon and sun theme to unify all of their outfits. he IS a piano player in the story, who wears a similar outfit to concerts, so you can see him as being a sort of astronomical musician for the occasion. i think these designs turned out pretty rad and since they're not "stereotypical" halloween fare, i would like to use them again...

As you all know, I am a very reactionary writer and viewer; so when I tell you guys the way “The Best Man: The Final Chapters” gripped me from start to finish, I mean it okay?! Like, everything was just so well-done and the build-up to episode 8 (the final chapter) was amazing. Then episode 8 itself was just one bomb, one realization, one grievance after another and I had to keep pausing to breathe and react because E8 ate absolutely EVERYTHING and left not a morsel of a crumb! Everyone calling Harper out had me like 😳🫢🥵 and the last table scene between the fellas had me tearing up! While the almost 25 years of love and shenanigans between this beloved Great 8 has been wrapped up so nicely, I have only one question: is there a deleted scene where we get to see what was said on the FaceTime call between Quentin, Shelby, and Kennedy explaining why Shelby hid Kennedy from Quentin in plain sight for a decade?! I really wanna know what her reason was for not telling him that he was that girl’s FATHER for 10 YEEEAAARRRSSS!😭😤🤯

Some 20 years removed from all the hype and controversy, I Get Wet holds up as an epic soccer holler that is nothing more or less than a half hour blast of energy, with any questions about irony or authenticity rendered wholly irrelevant.  And trying to analyze something called “Party ‘til You Puke” in the spirit of assessing its intentions is entirely beside the point.  With Andrew W.K., at least at this stage, the message was right there in the slamming guitars, frantic drumming (courtesy of Obituary’s Donald Tardy) and shouted chorus.  Party til you goddamn puke- that’s all there was, and all there needed to be.

17. Space, enchanted forest, magical kingdom, or underwater city?

Oh I have to say enchanted forest. I mean Lorien and Fangorn fragments in LOTR are literally some of my very favourites (Fangorn is not enchanted but it's close enough). In general magical/unusual flora is right up my alley, nothing hits quite as good as some good old force of ancient nature

anyways. i'm not sure how i feel about disco elysium making the villains of the game be evil "i kill for fun and profit" rapists because it clashes sooooooo heavily with its attempts to humanize every single viewpoint and ideology, even the objectively bad ones like fascism. it just feels weird how there's basically nothing to characterize the mercenaries outside of bloodlust and vitriol. i guess it's the only way the tribunal is gonna happen realistically but it just feels a little. . . idk. contrived/convenient
