The whole adrien is a sentimonster storyline is only a thing cuz the fan theory is so popular and the show wanna give us a fan serves. And in the early season gabriel doesn't use a ring on adrien every 5 second unlike in s4 onward. So yeah that's my reasoning to believe that the show don't plan the senti adrien plot from the start.

this is obviously an extremely nuanced issue and im not saying we should cancel p'aof because at the end of the day he was still the only person who didn't discount earth's talents just because of the color of his skin.

In fact Aof saved Earth's career (not only should we NOT cancel him he's miles better than literally anyone else in the industry) but he has still typecast him - in a weirdly flattering way. Earth must always be this silently suffering ruggedly handsome hero (and yes ruggedly is code here for lower class/dark skinned). An archetype that Aof obviously and unironically LOVES.

Of course, Aof also never directly talks about skin color but also like iykyk - clean skin in Asia is an extremely extremely loaded concept especially in south and south east asia where there is a very wide range of skin colors in the local population to begin with.

i liked tales of the smp for like, scuffed funny streams, but i can see what u mean? i didn't mind that much it was so disconnected from the rest of the server (and XD shenanigans were fun) and c!karl in general was a specific brand of absolutely nuts in a way that i do think goes a Little ignored in fandom (this man had balls of STEEL) but i do think tales ended up pretty underutilized just, across the board, which was kinda sad. c!karl's completely batshit moments were fun and i would've liked to see more of that--in general, i think i liked what he did on the main server more than what he did in tales episodes, but tales episodes were in the context of a spinoff series so i wasnt to bothered either

Out of Heisei phase two, as much as I love Ex-aid...i don't like the suits. The best ones gotta be...uh....either OOO or Build (even that jelly dragon one whatever, i liked it tbh) and W suits are a close second.

Heisei Phase one on the other hand, Kiva takes em all. Hands down.

Sentai on the other hand, Gekiranger, Hurricanger, Abaranger are my fave suits. The others are nice to meh or I have no opinion on them.

While the west got weird trailers that didn't matter for Frozen (Olaf vs Sven carrot thing), JPN and other countries got trailers that actually showcased the plot and drama in an interesting way.... And Wish.....well...... Wish at least gives us a villain and a part of an argument.....and I can't see that argument leading anywhere.....great tbh. So maybe not the best comparisons but let's hope for the Frozen 1 vibe!
