Nightmare Head Canons

He doesn't have many other expressions then U_- and maybe a few others but not likely,

He doesn't know how to genuinely smile so he sometimes does his evil smile just to try and show he is happy, the Bad Sanses are used to it by now and they explain it to new recruits

Most of the time he is blunt,

He is probably socially awkward and probably don't know how to talk to people (unless he's manipulating you)

He doesn't know what hugs are or how to show affection, he only knows how to hurt people, he wants to show how much he does care but he doesn't know how because of the bullies and it has been 500 years, he is bound to forget something,

He thinks he's impressing the Bad Sanses by throwing them into walls or something,

He doesn't hurt animals and young children, animals haven't done anything to him and he doesn't want to traumatize children like the bullies traumatized him,

He doesn't know how children are made, he probably asked one of the Bad Sanses "How do children happen?" And the Bad Sanses didn't know how to react,

He probably doesn't know what a dad Is,

He says rude things or burns people on accident then once someone is like "OOOOHHHHH BURN!!!" or "Nightmare!" He says "What?" It sounds condescending but that's genuine confusion, if he says something along the lines of "They deserve it" he probably insulted them on purpose,

He sometimes copies the Bad Sanses either subconsciously or consciously but he still does it, since he never had a parental figure he tries to learn how to do things from anyone other than Killer (and in rare occasions he does copy Killer but on often)

The goopy form he is in isn't his true form, since Nightmare can shape shift he can take a different form so I think the form he is using is just the form he feels safest in because that form saved his life,

Dream doesn't know much about Nightmare anymore and vice versa, (Again, 500 years)

That's all I want to say for now, if you want more than you can ask, I don't really care.
