sometimes I feel like I am just a little magpie hopping along, collecting anything that looks particularly interesting or shiny, or like a little dragon with the most ecletic little hoard. minimalism is great for those who like it, but it's not for everyone! for me? fuck minimalism!!!!!!! gather the little trinkets that make you happy!
collect shiny rocks if you want them! collect anything that's a cool texture that makes your brain do a smiley face!!!!! shiny bits of foil on the street, random bits of coloured glass you found on the beach, or shattered bits of pretty tile in the dirt outside? sure! cool little statues you found while thrifting? yes! collect what makes your heart happy!!!!
surround yourself with the things you want to have around you, it doesn't matter what they are or how ridiculous they might be. I have a little golden skull in a little glass display case in my bathroom because I think it's cool!!!!! do what you want! make yourself happy!! I'm gonna be right here cheering for you!!!!!!!

I have lots of feelings about this guy
They're the first spirit we've ever freed. The spirit that taught us skykids how to free other spirits and gave us our first hairstyle outside the one we were born with, without even asking for hearts in exchange. They're the first spirit any moth will know, and out of the whole rotating cast of spirits to visit aviary, they're the only one that's there every day. They're the one that greets us when we enter the village, making us feel welcome just like they did when we first started playing the game.

the thing i like about the dynamic between morpheus, lucienne, and rose is that while lucienne is horrified at the idea of there being a dream vortex and wants it (and by extension rose) gone,, morpheus is very fascinated with her existence as a vortex? like he's so kind and welcoming to her (compared to how he is normally anyway) and very obviously doesn't WANT to kill her and keeps trying to find ways to push it off until its absolutely necessary. like just!!! the little smile when rose dreams herself into his throne room and him going "no, but i should like her to stay" in response to saying rose shouldn't be there. like he's almost IMPRESSED at the existence of this girl and her ability to dream herself wherever and whatever she wants. idk man its just sweet to me

so ive started watching good omens 2 and so far, one of my favorite moments has been crowley seeing some poor girl about to kill herself by drinking poison and drinking it for her, only instead of dying he just gets drunk and/or high off his ass and turns really really tiny, then really really big, then gives her a better life while yelling at her and almost immediately gets dragged down to hell for doing something Good. absolute cringefail loser of a demon

still fondly remember the one time in sky when i found this one player's shared memory scavenger hunt inviting as many people as possible to attend the aurora concert at a specific time and date to make it more like the original concert experience (this was before the encore concerts), and beside each and every message, was a shared memory from, presumably, this player's friend, rick-rolling everyone in morse code. i truly treasure the moment of epiphany when i plugged the messages into a morse code translation site and realized what was going on

one thing in good omens that i did not fully pick up on in the show and was instead made to realize upon reading the book is that it is not crowley that loves queen and has an unholy amount of queen CDs/tapes and literally only ever plays queen music. it is The Car. the car is sentient and turns every fucking thing put in it into queen. that car fucking loves queen. i think genuinely one of the saddest scenes in the book is when zira and crowley steal a jeep and drive it back to london and the cassette they put in doesn't turn into queen.

i was reminded yesterday of how much the doctor telling rose "im not really a cat person" was a lie to disguise his jealousy when i saw the ninth doctor pick up a random alley cat in the 1940's and start cuddling it while narrating his annoyance at rose running off. like my guy did not even have to acknowledge the cat but he did, and not only that, he picked it up and held it like a baby.
