Chichi opened her eyes slowly. The sound that woke her up, however, was not the melody of the alarm, but a song indicating an incoming call. She hastily wiped her sleepy eyes with hand to regain at least some visibility and picked up the phone. The conversation was brief; it was their manager. He asked her to come to a coffee shop streets away. He didn't want to say anything else which, all in all, only further encouraged Ichi to quickly get dressed and head there.

She sat down at a table where the manager and two cups of coffee were already waiting for her. Ichi, however, had no intention of drinking until she knew what was going on. The man looked around briefly and took a quiet breath.

"Hybe people contacted me directly, probably hoping that JYPe wouldn't find out about anything." He began speaking quietly. "They didn't give me any details, they just said they wanted to talk to you, but both you and I know very well what they might be after."

Chichi embraced the warm cup with her hands so she would have something to do with stressed hands.

"Does it matter at all?" She finally spoke up. "I'll turn down any offer anyway."

"I know, but you were supposed to go to them today anyway to meet Yoongi."

She bit her lower lip, then finally decided to drink some coffee.

"So I guess a meeting with them is inevitable. I'll listen to them, but only out of curiosity."

The manager nodded briefly and sipped his coffee.

Chichi actually went to Hybe's building later. She recorded a video with Yoongi, but also discussed an upcoming joint project with him as well. She also recorded videos with Eunchae and Sakura for "Unforgiven" and a video for "Super" from Seventeen - those songs hadn't even come out yet, but everyone really wanted her to perform with them, and it's unclear if there would be an opportunity later, so TikToks were recorded for backup (although Ichi had to sign a confidentiality document when it came to choreography or song excerpts). And with this clever method, she had to meet Hybe people anyway....

She returned to the dorm in the late afternoon. She only had time to take off her jacket and shoes when Jeongin appeared over her head.

"Where were you again?"

Ichi sighed quietly, reflexively massaging the back of her neck. The manager had asked her to tell no one about the matter for safety's sake, but after all, her friend wasn’t no one, right?

"Hybe made me an offer to move to them." She said.

"What?!"

Jeongin's surprised exclamation was also accompanied by shouts from Minho, Felix and Seungmin. That is, surprisingly they were all here....

The youngest grabbed her wrist and led her to a table, where he seated her in a chair.

"Once again and slowly."

Now it was too late to back out anyway, they would drone on about the subject forever...

"Hybe wanted me to move to them. They offered a really cosmic amount of money and... frankly perfect conditions. I was to become a choreographer for NewJeans and LE SSERAFIM. Not an idol..."

Minho glared at her while playing with the straw of his takeaway drink.

"Where's the catch?"

"I don't know." She replied honestly. "I didn't read anything they suggested to me. My answer was No from the very beginning."

A silence fell, which only after a long moment was broken by Felix.

"I think you would handle it… You would work on your own..."

"Do you want to get rid of me?" She laughed, pouring herself a glass of water from the pitcher.

"You know that's not what I meant..."

"I know, I was joking." She took a sip, then looked into the glass. "When I started college I didn't think so much about being an idol. I used to dream about it, but inadvertently that dream got blurred somewhere as I focused more on dancing. Being with you all… I felt that this is what I want to do. Choreographing alone probably wouldn't give me as much pleasure anymore... And that's it." She raised her gaze, which she involuntarily directed at Seungmin, who was sitting just across from her. "You are my family, no money can replace that for me. It's not even a question."

"For us, it's just another reason to be proud." Jeongin spoke up, "We have a choreographer people fight for!"

Ichi poked him in the ribs with her elbow, laughing.

Ichi didn't think about the matter any more after that. She was sitting in her room reading a book before going to bed when she heard a quiet, irregular knocking, which was the signal she and Felix had established. She immediately closed the book, and her friend entered a second later.

"Can we talk?"

"Anytime."

Felix sat down on the edge of her bed, and Ichi rose from a semi-reclining position to a sitting position.

"It never crossed my mind that I would like you to leave." He said.

"Are you still thinking about it? It's really nothing, I understood what you meant..."

"I know, but it doesn't give me a break... I just always want the best for you. If you have even for a moment considered this offer then you should not hold back for our sake."

"Felix, I'm not going anywhere. I don't want to go anywhere. I have the best time in the world with you guys. I really appreciate that you think this could be an opportunity for me, but I would be terribly unhappy without you guys, no matter how good the offer is. I love being a part of Stray Kids, and doing all this for you fulfills me the most."

Felix listened to her carefully, then smiled slightly disheveled.

"However, I don't want to close myself off to others. I told them that if they get along with my label then I am always open to temporary collaborations. You guys, however, will always be my priority and they have to accept that."

Felix answered nothing more to this but laughed and put his head on her knee.

"I'm glad you declined!"

hey guys! so i really want to get back into posting regularly - but i was literally crazy before i took a really massive break, and honestly it has been very overwhelming now that i have so many empty plot points. i don’t want to let go of them though, but i know i have to if i want to keep creating content. i was thinking to mainly focus on my nct girlies - and possibly yuri (ateez) and blaise (stray kids)….but what do you guys think?

*skz won their first vma and I could not be more proud*

for this fit, jae is keeping the feminine vibe, yet now she shows off her natural edge. still repping clio peppiatt, she also has her added love for the lirika matoshi brand in this fit through her coat and skirt. the detailed mesh shirt that has a black bralette peaking from under it creates a subtle juxtaposition between the harsh patterns on both the coat and the skirt. and of course she has her thigh high platforms as the cherry on top!

her two toned hair is thrown up into two grunge style low buns.

this look can only be considered as being one thing and one thing only, "s-class"!

Moving In

Summary: Jisoo moves out of the girls dorm and the boys get a little surprise.

Masterlist

The last episode of the survival show had wrapped up and all of the members were extremely happy that Minho and Felix were going to debut with them.

Both of them were scheduled to move back into the dorm they had lived in so far when Chan got a call from the company.

Besides the two dancers, there was another member who had yet to move in and that was no other then Jisoo.

Since there had always been a chance of getting eliminated, the company had decided to keep the girl in the female trainee´s dorm until further notice.

But now that the final lineup had been decided, the manager had finally given her the green light to move in with the others.

So the next day the members all helped together to get the others settled in.

While it was decided that Minho and Felix would move back into the rooms, they were given at the beginning of the show, Jisung and Jeongin had offered the spare bunk bed they still had in theirs.

Obviously none of the boys were allowed to step foot in the girls dorm, so Jisoo was stuck packing all of her stuff with the help of Yeji and Ryujin. The rest of the girls had almost refused stepping into her room. None of them were particularly fond of her 2 pets while the girls helping were used to them. Being roommates with them did have it´s perks.

“Do the boys know that you aren´t going to be alone when you get there?” Ryujin chuckled while handeling one of Jisoo´s snakes.

Nagini had wrapped herself around the girls hand, accepting the warmth of her skin happily.

“No. I haven´t found the right moment to tell them. I feel like the Aussieboys could handle it really well, but they aren´t the ones i´ll be sharing a room with. The rest, i´m not really sure about!” Jisoo sighed and continued to pack her books into a moving carton.

“Wait so none of them know?” Yeji asked. The older girl looked like she wanted to throw the pillow she was holding at her.

Jisoo shook her head.

“Not everyone is a fan of reptiles Yeji-ah! Do you remember when I bought them?

Ryu- ah started coddling them the minute she saw them but you were a little more hesitant if I remember correctly!”

Hearing that Ryujin started cackling. She did remember that day and she had a field day doing so.

Yeji huffed and turned away.

“We agreed on never speaking about that day, ever again!”

She put the pillow into the box and opened the terrarium that was still closed

Searching for Phini was always a little bit like a game of hide and seek.

The butter cornsnake had hide herself in her wet box, hoping to not be found by any of the girls.

Yeji took the wet box and put it into the prepared transport container.

Ryujin did the same with Nagini and put the lid on the box, watching as the small snake hid in her own little cave.

Jisoo put the last of her books away, looking around her part of the room.

Almost everything had been packed into a box and the only thing left were the two wooden terrariums.

She had hoped that she wouldn´t have to take them apart completely but the more Jisoo thought about it, the clearer it became that she would have to do exactly that.

It had been a hassel to build them up in the first place and the girl wasn´t particularly excited to do it again.

While Ryujin started to clean out the first terrarium, Jisoo started on the second one.

Yeji went to get the set of screwdrivers, the staff had left them. The sticky note on them to call if they needed help went ignored and into the trash.

They already had build these up from scratch once. They could take them apart and build them again without help.

An hour later the girls were done and the staff had put everything in a small moving truck.

The 3 hugged and said their goodbyes, promising to see each other at the company building.

The drive to her new dorm seemed to take hours. In reality, it was only a 10 minute drive through the streets of Seoul.

And the closer they got, the more nervous the girl became.

How would they react to her little babies?

Jisoo looked at the two boxes on her lap and decided it would probably be the best to cover them with the blanket she had taken into the car with them.

That way the boys wouldn´t immediately run the other direction.

Explaining what the wooden panels were for was going to be an experience.

It didn´t take long before the truck arrived at it´s destination and everyone got to work.

Chan, Changbin and Seungmin were already waiting in front of the building, ready to help.

Jisoo wrapped the blanket around the boxes and carried them upstairs.

“What is that?” came the question immediately from Changbin.

Jisoo started sweating nervously.

“Well you see that is a… little… surprise! I´ll show you inside!”

She could see that her answer only made them more curious and the girl wanted to slap herself for phrasing it like that.

“Then let´s get all of this to your room.”

Seungmin nearly vibrated with excitement and took one of the moving cartons.

Chan and Changbin also took one each and the staff and manager took care of the terrariums.,

In the living room Minho, Hyunjin, Han, Felix and Jeongin were already waiting.

Apparently the two other boys moving in had already finished unpacking and now everyone was waiting for the female member.

“Look who´s finally home!” Hyunjin squealed happily upon her arrival.

“We´ve seen each other yesterday!” Jisoo chuckled and put the still hidden boxes down.

The three boys behind her took her stuff straight into the room she was going to share with Jisung and the maknae.

They walked out and sat with the others when the staff came in.

“Jisoo-ssi do you want us to build the te…?”

Hastily Jisoo cut the man of while shaking her head furiously.

“No you don´t need to! Just put them in the room. I can do it myself. Thank you for the help.” The girl said while bowing down.

She turned back to the boys who were looking at her like she had grown a second head.

“You okay?” Jisung asked carefully.

Jisoo nodded her head and Changbin looked at her curiously.

“You heard her. She´s fine now tell us what´s under the blanket!”

“Thanks for worrying about me Hannie.” She said while pouting at Changbin who pouted back at her.

“Okay, so I have to tell you something…

Like someone else here already said…,” she looked at Changbin.

“I got something to show you. And I don´t want you to freak out over it. Just know that none of you will even notice anything about it and it´s completely safe!”

“Jisoo what did you do?” Chan asked carefully, already on the verge of his seat.

“Nothing! I just… Well let´s just say i´m not entirely alone here…”

“What do you mean?” came from Felix.

Jisoo picked the boxes up and sat them down on her lap.

Slowly but surely she pulled the blanket away, showing them the inside of the box.

As If things couldn´t get any more dramatic, Nagini apparently decided to come out of her hiding spot in that very moment.

Showing her head and looking around.

For a few seconds nothing could be heard and then chaos broke out.

Changbin and Hyunjin started screeching, Felix looked completely and utterly in love just like Seungmin, Minho just starred at the reptile not knowing what to say, Han started to coo over her baby, the maknae looked curiously at Nagini and Chan looked like he regretted every decision that led him to this moment.

“Really? You couldn´t have at least warn me about your pet?” he asked exasperated but not scared.

If she had to name the expression on his face Jisoo would probably say a mix out of fondness, exasperation and happiness.

“Pet´s.” she just answered while smiling awkwardly at her leader.

“Pet´s? Like more than one? Does the management know?” he questioned her.

“Why do you think there are 2 boxes? And of course they know! Who do you think bought them with me?” Jisoo pouted.

“Wait they are going to live in our room from now on?” Jisung asked excitedly while Jeongin did a little happy dance of his own.

“That´s not fair! I wanna switch rooms!” Felix whined when he realized that he was in fact not going to be the one having the animals in his room.

Seungmin agreed with the younger Aussieboy. He too thought having snakes would be the coolest thing.

Hyunjin and Changbin were still eying them carefully, they didn´t really have a problem with them but they would prefer to not interact with the two reptiles.

“What are their names?” Minho asked quietly, looking a little worried but not uninterested.

“Nagini and Phini.” Jisoo cooed.

“Well then I guess this dorm has to more residents then expected!”

The girl could only smile.

This could have went way worse.

Rin is the shortest out of them with changbin following close behind, since the height difference between the entire group isn't too much most of the photos don't look awkward regardless of the standing order, plus Rin often wears heeled shoes or has insoles so as to make the difference more equalised so it works out well for them!! The entire groups height averages out to be about 172.6 cm

Rin with hyung line

Rin with the hyung line is a weird combo since all of their heights are extremely varied so whatever order they stand in someone is always going to stick out , which results in them very rarely standing in any specific order

Rin with maknae line

Rin with the maknae line is a much better combo since a lot of them have similar heights and the difference isn't even that big so it works out well with or without insoles because it looks harmonious enough

— BACKGROUND: she knew there wasn’t going to be many idols that would properly execute the ‘y2k’ theme so she asked to have an addiction special stage to do so, instead of just jyp nation. both jyp and the organizers okayed it but they said it would be sectioned at the very end. div1 was originally going to pick who she was preforming with but since faith decided to make an original song they were going to perform, faith wanted to personally pick the idols/voices. she picked aespa’s ningning, ive’s yujin, and le sserafim’s chaewon.

— CREATIVE PROCESS: composing and arrangement was left to faith and 3racha, but producing and lyrics were a combination of all four girls. even though faith had a heavy hand in everything, she wasn’t going to let the rest feel left out, yujin and ningning created the hook and chaewon and faith made the chorus and pre-chorus. chore wise faith didn’t want complicated, she wanted it to flow and groove, the song was very vocal heavy and thought to add a dance break for the end. faith main inspiration was missy elliott and destiny child.

— STRAY KIDS REACTIONS: all of them knew faith had a special stage with other female idols, but only 3racha and i.n knew more then the rest, i.n help with some styling choices and stage details. at the actual performance everyone was shocked, danceracha was amazed by the simple but still eye catching choreo, 3racha was making stank face, it’s a good thing for those who don’t know, the whole stage, faith did the final touches so they didn’t really know how it truly sounded. vocalracha was in their element and seungmin had his eye closed and look like he was humming along, stays clowned him and said he looked like an elderly man listen to a symphony.

— VIEWERS REACTIONS: fans and non-fans loved this stage, which is how it became the most viewed in 24hrs. western fans loved the song and styling, because let’s be honest a lot of those stages were not on theme. domestic fans loved the song as well and thought the dance break was cool. live viewers notice the editing for the stage was reminiscent of 1st and 2nd generation of idols, which many older stans adored. many people were unset that this song wouldn’t be released on stream platform, non kpop fans saw the clips on twitter and tiktok and feel in love with the performance and keep asking who the group was.

— STAGE: before the second pre-chorus the stage looks like a stereotypical western girls' room in the 2000s clueless, mean girls, and legally blonde were used as inspiration. at the start of the 4th chorus, it transforms into a nightclub, step up movies were used as a base.
