Sj2 au where bugs didn't come back for MONTHS
#I'm just thinking of all the baffy angst possiblities tbh#just daffy initially thinking bugs will come back sooner or later and it's only a matter of a few days#And then days pass on and the paranoia seeds are being sown in his mind#as more and more time goes on its dawning on him that there *is* a possibility bugs might never come back#the first time he's having doubts he mentally (or physically) slaps himself in the face#because there's NO possible WAY that bugs can just vanish like that right??!!#the next time he starts feeling bad because he's looking around and bugs. is. not. anywhere.#he hesitantly will go up to the poster stack pinned to that tree (just because he wanted and absolutely no other reason at ALL)#and he'll start pulling off the posters bc OBVIOUSLY he's just messing around and being lOoneY and it's definitely not a silent plea#for bugs to come back#A month and a half passes and he starts PANICKING#Too much time has passed with not much happening and the Burrow's still empty and the furniture's collecting dust#and there are cobwebs in the corners#and it's all too much because bugs loves cleaning but he's not here and his burrow is clearly as affected as daffy is#because daff's pretty sure cobwebs are forming in his heart too#I could write paragraphs about this it's so interesting#I'm so unwella about them#bugs bunny#bugs x daffy#baffy#daffy duck

I've had anxiety pretty much all my life and having my fears/concerns brushed off is not a new thing for me and sometimes it's justified, but it is uniquely annoying in this case because I keep being right, repeatedly, throughout the pandemic, and people are still acting like I'm just being my panicky self and it's not as big a deal as I'm making it.
#for months my mom kept getting on my case about masking in the common areas of her complex#'everyone here is elderly they don't go out! why are you still wearing a mask here?'#and then suddenly what do you know two of her neighbors have covid and I was right#everyone: why are you still isolating and masking so much the pandemic is over!#me: it is not fucking over and it's gonna get worse again because of this#a couple months later: oh god there's a new variant that resists vaccines we couldn't possibly have predicted or prevented this#ironically I got covid somewhere highly improbable back in 2022 and it promptly made my anxiety like 5x worse so now I'm even more annoying#I also just kinda. got worse at spelling and keeping track of information#it's deeply frustrating but at least I never lost taste/smell and meds have helped with the anxiety so eh#still this could have been avoided if people would just take the goddamn thing seriously#and I'm gonna be salty about it for the rest of my life

I know tumblr has this whole outlook/culture surrounding mutual status where it’s framed like people are locked behind a wall unless you gain Mutual Access™, but I really am here to just hang out and make friends and talk to people about robots while trying (and failing) to prevent it from consuming me.
It is so nice talking to people about silly things or seeing people elaborate on a little food for thought post I set down. Anyone who interacts with me a lot is a mutual in my heart, even if I don’t follow them, y’know? I find some blogs overwhelming to follow if they have a high post rate or if there’s a lot of fandom content I’m not in, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like the person behind a blog I don’t follow! It seems so obvious when I put it like that but there really is this fear of overstepping/bothering someone who doesn’t follow you, which might be the case for a lot of people but not me :] Just like those posts that say a mutual blog isn’t automatically a friend, I want to say that not being a mutual doesn’t make you a stranger (to me)

Went outside to smoke before bed and a car full of people absolutely belting out Bohemian Rhapsody drove by.
And I'm like, well I'm glad somebody's enjoying life, even if it's not me.
#we are VERY depressed right now my friends#i keep thinking there's got to be a way to fix this but i think i always get depressed this time of year?#which is so stupid cause i love spring#maybe it's when the vitamin d deficiency catches up to me#it's been fairly nice out but still too chilly for me to want to go outside and enjoy it#the wind is coming in off lake michigan which means 50 degrees is still fairly unpleasant#when you're a floridian transplant at least#also spring here is always way later than other places#because we're so far north#so we're just beginning to see the green haze of leaves#probably won't have actual leaves for several weeks#then I'll have three months to be happy

#malkin#tanger where is your penguin hat#oh wait dallas is a few days ago this must be old#i do appreciate how even though geno wears expensive sweaters and shit#his favorite hat is still just a 50$ trucker cap from a historically high quality but relatively affordable hat shop#its just cute: rich famous hockey celebrity but still just geno#When i bought my first go*orin hat i must have gone into the shop at least twice if not three times trying to decide which one i wanted#I had just gotten my first job in LA and Old Town pas is one of those Fancy shopping districts so i felt very awkward and out of place#and jenn had to go with me to drag me into the shop i was so nervous#And she tried on a bunch of the hats with me cause shes nice like that#Anyway yeah the folks in go*orin were real nice to us which if you have ever been into botique shops in LA you will know thats unusual#Most of the time they are rude assholes especially if you dont look like you are going to spend any money#I did buy a hat it was a little directors cap like the one walt wore in the 20s before he went into his porkpie phase#I do not like porkpie hats i will never wear one of those LOL#But i was determined to have a directors cap because if i was here in LA living the dream i was gonna look the part#I was still optimistic about things back then#Weirdly enough when i got my second job a month later the hat became a thing because it turned out everyone at the studio wore hats lol#I fit right in#And then the pandemic happened and suddenly nobody was going into the office at all for a very long time :(

#presenting my cursed sleep-deprived brainworm of the day: nagisa gets sold to ft4 for uni fees#or well. more like they’re looking for a live-in assistant dude. thing. or sth. idk#and papa shiranami just sells his son off bc ‘hey it’s literal free real estate!!! plus he’s gonna get paid for the entire deal so why not?’#nagisa initially pitches a fit at his dad a la gamushara yelling scene bc ‘dad!!!!!! how could you just sell me off to some strangers?!!!!’#‘shhhh son; think of the free housing. in ✨t o k y o✨. stuff’s expensive there yk’ ‘but still!!!!!’#so nagi sulkily packs his bags and heads out; trying to motivate himself with thoughts of ‘hey at least i’ll get to see hiyori more often’#then he arrives at the train station and sees our favourite 5-man non-idol gang… and promptly passes out#when he comes to… poor guy finds himself right smack in the middle of a hugeass canopy bed#with dai sitting smugly by the side like ‘the great me carried you back mans. you’re welcome ;)’ with a tip of his cool fedora#and that’s when nagi realises that 1) it’s not a dream and that he actually has to live with his oshis now. and 2) damnnnn this bed is soft#cohabitation shenanigans happen. as they would seeing as the entire gang + rio’s niece live together in this oddly huge megu-owned penthouse#plus free bi-weekly vacations to megu’s family villa bc they can never spend a waking moment without each other#and nagi finds it strange that the group is oddly accomodating of his uni schedule when it concerns his job tasks and such…#or that they collab with lxl (hi hiyori!!!) way more than they should typically be…#but he brushes it off when rio asks him to cook with him or sth idk i mean how often do you get to cook with your oshi????#and idk eventually the jig is up and it’s revealed that hiyori was the one who was accidentally behind the whole thing#like a ‘sorry nagisa i told uchida that you’d be moving here too but lxl were there the entire time and they went and got ft4 to buy you’#or something kinda thing. idk. bc everything has to be lxl’s fault; even when they’re just lurking in the bg#i’m def gonna regret this later lmao. it’s almost 2.30 in the am; i have not written in months; and i’ve never read a sold to 1.d. fic ev er#this is the kind of cosmic horror that only sleep-deprived brains can cook up ig…….. oh wells#it is suiyoubi my dudes#the dude from gamushara

#i wish i could have a month off of work no consequences and i still got money for it i just wanna be able to do whatever i want and have#free time and i don’t want to have to work this kuchhhhh i’m sick of it and i’m SO TIRED IN THE MORNING it makes it absolute HELL to try to#get to work on time i’m late every single day and have been for MONTHS bc my schedule is exhausting for someone who can’t keep a consistent#and GOOD sleep schedule i just wanna stay up late sometimes and sleep early other times but i work the same time all of the time so i’m just#running off not enough sleep EVER and have to take naps if i even CAN and then that in turn fucks up the time i’ll sleep after that#like i literally CANNOT win here i don’t get what i’m supposed to do i don’t want to do it anymore dude#i wish at. LEAST i could go in like a half an hour later i genuinely think i wouldn’t be late everday but waking up between 6-7 is HARD and#the earlier i wake up the more time i need to try to be awake but the later i wake up the more i scramble and fight to try and get ready#fast enough like even THAT i can’t get down right !!!!!! i just want to be able to go to work on time and not have anxiety about it everyday#my boss clearly doesn’t care enough and that’s fine i should be relieved to know she just cares that i show up and do my shift but like i#just don’t know dude i’m just going on and on and i need to shut up#i’m going to smoke and go to bed soon i guess???? idk i’ll be on here til i do tho

the big makers market that i was really banking on this weekend was canceled because i live in southern maine + the shooter from wednesday still hasn't been found and i still have medical expenses while social security continues to screw up my SSI payments so i'll be taking better pictures of the clothing pieces i've been working on because i will b shipping them
#coming up on the month where my payment will be way way lower#it'll be at least partially resolved for december's payment but. doesn't help me right now!#not to be like woe is me when people died it's just been a really weird couple days here#usually when something like this happens the guy isn't still out there two days later while work and schools are closed all over the place#and i still need to eat
