WINTER 2022 SPECIAL: ❝#13 with Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Law.❞

「#13 ❝ Your hands are freezing!❞ with Luffy, Zoro, Sanji and Law.」

MONKEY D LUFFY

The Strawhat Pirates had just gone through a huge blizzard that lasted for hours. During the blizzard, everyone was holed up inside doing their own thing. Nami took the chance to draw the map of the island you all just left earlier, Sanji was preparing lunch and Franky was busy fixing the Mini Merry. Robin and you were chatting with one another about the things you bought in the aquarium while Zoro took a nap. On the other hand, Luffy, Usopp and Chopper were playing some sort of board game they bought in the prevous island.

Once the boys were done with their little game, Luffy decided to pester you about th little trinkets you bought. Robin was talking about the book she just finished reading, giving you a quick summary of what it entails. Luffy seemed to be listening at first but he eventually fell asleep on your lap while you run your hand through his black hair in a soothing manner. Robin eventually left you alone with Luffy and before you knew it, the blizzard started to clear up and you all could go outside.

After Nami announced that it was safe for everyone to go out, Luffy and Chopper were the first ones to run out onto the deck of the Thousand Sunny. On the other hand, you decide to change into warmer clothes and along the way, you picked up a jacket and scarf for Luffy. The moment you stepped out, Chopper was making a snow angel, Usopp was making what it seemed like a snow sculpture of a snow angel.

"[First Name]! Come and make a snowman with me!" you heard your captain/boyfriend's voice. You looked to the side to see Luffy still dressed in his usual red vest and blue shorts.

"Oh Luffy, you're covered in snow! You're going to freeze at this rate!" you hurriedly walked closer to your boyfriend, brushing the snow off his head before putting on the winter jacket on him. Luffy only giggled in response while you fussed over him and scolded him for not putting any warm clothes before playing in the snow.

"Thank you, [First Name]!" he smiles so brightly, melting away your worries.

"Now come!" he grabs your hand abruptly, making you flinch at how cold his hands were. Luffy frowns when you pulled back your hand at lightning speed. You glanced at his fingers, noting the slight blue tint which was giving away how cold they were before glaring at Luffy. He only pouts at seeing your glare. You grabbed his hands, sandwiching them in your own hands.

"Your hands are freezing!" you exclaimed.

"And your hands are warm! Now, let's go make that snowman!" he giggles, pulling you towards where he was making a snowman earlier.

"No! We're getting some gloves for you. I have spare ones in my wardrobe." you stood still and tugged Luffy in the opposite direction. The male pouts and makes a noise that seemed to be one that expresses annoyance. Even though he was acting bratty, he still decided to follow you to your room where you lent him a pair of gloves.

"Now can we go make snowmen?" he asks after you put on the gloves for him.

"Yes, now we can go." you sighed with a smile.

Luffy cheers in excitement and began to pull you out to the deck. Even though he holds the highest status on the ship—being the captain—he always acts like a child. And even though Luffy and you were in a relationship together, you felt like you acted more like a doting mother rather than a girlfriend. But when Luffy roped you into a snowball fight between Usopp and himself, you felt like a child again.

RORONOA ZORO

Zoro was never good at showing his affection and he was never the one to initiate anything. But when craves it, he signals you with a small gesture. He will brush his fingers against your skin but it was easy to miss that, sometimes he tugs at your sleeve to draw your attention. Sometimes you love to just shower him with affection. And you remembered that at the beginning of the relationship, he'd try to escape your clutches to avoid embarrassment. He gets really flustered and sometimes ends up getting a bit angry. After exploding, he'll let you cling to him but grumble in annoyance. Now, he doesn't say much and accepts whatever you do.

Now that he's sleeping in the same bed with you, he can't believe how much he had changed from when you both started dating. His one good eye trailed over to your body laid next to him, cuddled up against his chest. He had taken a nap earlier during the day and it was hard for him to fall asleep now. The entire time you slept, he just laid down next to you, Hearing a small noise, his attention quickly snapped back to your sleeping face. His knuckles brushed lightly against your cheek, and you began to stir. Zoro moved his hand to reach for your own, engulfing your smaller hand in his larger one.

"Zoro?" your sleepy voice called out to him.

"Your hands are freezing." he murmured, curling his fingers around yours in a tight grasp. He pulls the blanket a bit higher and moves closer, cradling your body protectively against his own.

"Now that I'm awake, do you want to get something warm to drink? It really is cold for some reason." you suggested, pulling away from Zoro's hold and sitting up on the bed.

"Just drink some sake, it'll warm you up." Zoro smirks as you slipped on a pair of slippers. He follows you to the door, holding onto your cold hand.

"Did you know that drinking alcohol during cold weather can give you hypothermia?" you asked, guiding Zoro through the Sunny towards the kitchen. Just as you both expected, it's dark and no one seemed to be around. Lucky for you, Sanji gave you a spare key to the lockable fridge in case you got hungry in the middle of the night.

"Hah? Where did you hear that from?" Zoro grumbles, taking a seat on the dining table while you began to make some hot tea for Zoro and yourself.

"Chopper said the alcohol can cause the body to lose heat or something. You might feel warm but that's just a false sensation of warmth, apparently." you shrugged, before handing one of the mugs to Zoro.

"You sound like a know-it-all." he huffed.

"Well someone's gotta watch you when you're always drinking no matter the weather! Chopper told me to keep an eye on you in case you decide to get yourself drunk during winter. You're my boyfriend so I have to take good care of you!" you nudged Zoro as the two of you walked back to your shared room. He rolls his eyes and scoffs in response which earned a playful smack to his arm from you.

"Stop acting so annoyed by it, let's go back and cuddle for warmth."

"Not only am I your boyfriend, but also your personal heater." he teased.

"You know.....I think Sanji will be a better heater than you, maybe I should just—“

"No. You're mine and we're going to bed now." the swordsman cut you off, and you couldn't help but giggle.

VINSMOKE SANJI

When the Strawhat Pirates docked on an island, everyone took the opportunity to explore. The crew had gone their separate ways to buy their own stuff which left Sanji on his own. Sanji decided to take the chance to not only get groceries enough to feed the crew, but also explore the native dishes and unique ingredients. He was eager to try some new recipes on board the ship, and experiment with all the different flavors and ingredients found on this island. Lucky for everyone, the island seemed to welcome pirates but just in case, Usopp and Brook followed Luffy so he doesn't cause any trouble.

On the other hand, you were wandering around for a snack after purchasing some new clothes for yourself. Though you're not as obsessed with food like Luffy, you loved exploring and trying new food. The bags around your arms were starting to get heavy when you continued wandering around the shopping area, passing by several restaurants and bakeries that caught your eye. While you were admiring the delicious and beautiful desserts displayed by the window, you started to get a bit hungry.

"[First Name]-swaaaaan!" you heard Sanji's voice call out to you. When you turned you heard to the source of the voice, you could see your boyfriend waving at you excitedly. You waved back and remained standing where you were since he was making his way toward you. He was holding onto a handful of grocery bags which were filled to the brim with various ingredients.

"You bought a lot of food Sanji!" you smiled.

"Not nearly enough to feel Luffy's bottomless pit of a stomach. But that aside, what did you get?" Sanji asked, trying to peek into the bag that you were holding onto.

"Just some new clothes, I'll show you when we get back." you grinned, showing off the bags that you were holding onto.

"New clothes?! I'm looking forward to seeing them! But first, let me help you with all those bags. No lady should be carrying the bags and a true gentleman does all the heavy carrying." Sanji smiles brightly, reaching over to grab the bags in your hand.

Even though you protested, telling him that it wasn't even heavy. But Sanji being Sanji, dismisses your concerns and took the bags from your hands. He involuntarily flinches when his fingers come into contact with yours. You glanced at him with a look of surprise, wondering what it was that startled him. Sanji put down the bags he was holding and suddenly grasped your hands tightly, holding them up as he stared deeply into your eyes. You blinked a few times, noting how his eyes were full of concern.

"Um, Sanji?" you slowly pulled your hands away from his grasp.

"Your hands are freezing!" Sanji exclaimed.

"I'm fine, Sanji! That aside, do you want to get something to—"

"We need to go back to the Sunny and get you some gloves or else you'll freeze to death!" he exaggerates, grabbing onto your hand and pulling you towards the port. You rolled your eyes, knowing that Sanji will not listen to you at all until he gets you some gloves. ‘I guess we can try that cute little bakery I saw earlier tomorrow.’ you watched with a fond smile as your boyfriend hurriedly pulls you to the Sunny.

TRAFALGAR D WATER LAW

Law was beyond exhausted when he stepped into your shared room. The room was dark, the only light illuminating the room came from the little night light that you purchased on an island that was famous for its handmade items—an island filled with talented individuals. He stares at the bed, noticing how you’re not there. All he wanted was to just sleep all his worries away. Quietly he sighs before he makes his way to his side of the bed. He had been up all night preparing medication and looking after the sick.

He can't remember when was the last time he slept on the bed with you. When he finally slipped under the covers, he felt an overwhelming wave of loneliness. And at that moment, he wondered if this was what you tell him every time he doesn't come back to bed. He can't really remember when was the last time he actually slept on his own bed. Just minutes after he fell asleep, he hears the door to your shared room open. He shifts on the bed and saw you enter the room with a cup of tea in your hand.

”Sorry, did I wake you up?” you asked with a sheepish smile when you noticed that your lover was lying down on bed.

”No, I was just taking a short break. I need to check the stocks of our medicine again. We need to restock on the next island…..” Law mutters as you slowly close the distance between the two of you.

“How long have you been working, Law? Why don’t you take a break and go to sleep?” you asked, setting down your cup of tea on the nightstand.

You watched your lover with a frown on your face, Law looks beyond exhausted and he obviously looked like he needed sleep. Worry swirls in your stomach when Law attempts to get up from the bed, only to let out a groan as his expression changed into one that showed pain. You hurriedly moved to his side of the bed and grabbed hold of his hands to stop him from moving. Upon closer inspection, you could see how he's shivering slightly despite sweating.

"Your hands are freezing." you mumble with a frown, rubbing your thumbs against the back of his hand.

"No, I'm fine." he protests stubbornly.

"I'm pretty sure that we still have a few days until we make it to the next island since we just departed yesterday. You have plenty of time to check the storage. Why don't you just take a quick nap?" you tried convincing him. Law hesitates but he knows that you were right so he listened to you. After a while, you decided to get up but he catches your hand before you could leave.

"Where are you going?" he asks.

"I'm gonna check with Bepo how long we have until we hit the island. Do you need anything?" you ask, observing your boyfriend's face. It breaks your heart to see him this weak and you know how much weight was on his shoulders since he's the captain of the Heart Pirates.

"Can you just stay with me?" he murmurs.

"Fine, I'll stay." you whisper, Law closes his eyes when you sat on the bed next to him. He shifts to find a more comfortable position and finally found one that he was satisfied with. He has his face pressed against your leg, an arm hugging your leg while you rest your back against the headboard.

"Get well soon, Law." you smile sweetly, running your hand through his hair as he slept next to you.

WINTER 2022 SPECIAL: ❝#13 with Ace.❞

「#13 ❝ Your hands are freezing!❞ with Ace.」

PORTGAS D ACE

"Ah! It's snowing!" you exclaimed with a bright smile, feeling the snow melt at your fingertips.

The island was really cold. Then again, its a winter island, so it's expected, but still, this was too much. The sudden changes in seasons and weather isn't uncommon in the Grand Line but you could never get used to changing from summer to winter instantly. From the dessert island with unbearable heat to a snow covered island. Your teeth began to chatter and you rubbed your hands together to keep yourself warm but it was a wasted effort. You returned to your room to put on your jacket before joining your crew who were eager to explore the island.

"Hey, [First Name]! Come on, stop stalling and come down here!" you heard someone call out to you.

When you looked down below just by the ship, you could see Ace dressed in his black coat with his signature hat sitting atop of his head. He looked at you with that charming smile of his, one that's so wide and childish. You had a weak spot for Ace and you couldn't help but smile back at him. From here, it didn't seem like Ace was wearing as much layers as you did and it made you wonder how he could look just fine in such a cold weather. You put on your scarf and leaning over the deck to see Ace playing around in the snow like a 5 year old.

“You’re behaving like a child, Ace! We're supposed to be watching the ship while everyone is restocking!” you yelled at the freckled boy, watching him make snow angels just by the ship.

“Come on! It’s been a while since we landed on a winter island! Let’s play with the snow for a bit! You don’t get to see this much snow everyday!” Ace gathered a handful of snow and attempted to shape it into a ball.

Despite telling off your boyfriend about his childish behavior, you can't deny the fact that you were actually looking forward to the winter island when it was spotted by the navigator. The snow crunching beneath your boots gave you this satisfaction that couldn't be described with words. Ace walks over towards you and dumped an oddly shaped snow ball onto your hands that had you giving him a questioning look. He seemed quite proud of what he had just created.

"And what's this supposed to be?" you ask.

"A snow fish." he beamed.

"I don't see the resemblance." you giggled softly.

"Let's make a snowman!" Ace suggested.

Sighing at his childish suggestions and activities, you walked over towards your child of a boyfriend. Since you had nothing much to do anyway, you decided to entertain him. Ace puts together the snowman that easily towers over your height. You had opted to sit on the side and watch your boyfriend do his own thing while rubbing your hands. At the same time, you were cursing yourself for not bringing your gloves along when you decide to stick your hands in the snow. Now your hands are freezing and numb.

It was at this moment Ace noticed you rubbing your hands together for warmth.

"Your hands are freezing!" Ace exclaimed, a worried look crossing his face as he observed your pale and now numb hands.

"I forgot to wear my gloves....." you admitted bashfully, still rubbing your hands.

Ace grasps your hands, and flashes you a gentle smile with a light blush dusting over his cheeks. You could instantly feel the heat radiating from his skin, courtesy of his devil fruit powers.

"Isn't it warmer now?" he grinned widely at you.

His hands were much bigger and warmer than yours, easily covering your small ones. In this cold weather, it served as your anchor to reality. You wiggled your hands free before joining your hands together, rubbing your thumb against the back of his hand. These were the hands that could deliver powerful attacks and the same ones that carressed your body gently at late nights. All you could feel is warmth from his natural body heat. Ace chuckled lightly, a light blush decorating his cheeks. He made you happy beyong belief.

Hand holding was one of Ace's favorite ways to show affection. No matter what you do and where you are, his hands will always find yours. He especially loves it when you always leave your hand open for him to hold when you're shopping for supplies. Holding hands to you both was a special kind of intimacy. It always provided you with a sense of security that only Ace could provide.

“Might as well warm you up all together!” he cheekily says before throwing himself at you.

”Wait, Ace—!”

Ace chuckles loudly as he practically tackles you onto the down, effectively pinning you down with his entire body weight. You stood no chance against him who’s all muscles. He rests his face on your chest, looking pretty proud of himself for the stunt that he pulled. You rolled your eyes in response and reached to tread your fingers through his hair. You pushed aside the little bits of snow that littered his black hair with one hand and used the other to cup his cheeks, smiling fondly at your boyfriend.

"Seriously....." you sighed when he peppered kisses all over your face. He giggles in response before burying his face into your neck.

You notice his breathing slowing down, indicating his drowsy state. For a moment, you watched as he sleepily smile at you and planted a kiss on his forehead. You move off his body so the two of you could continue your duties. But before you could even get off, Ace pulled you close, spooning you from behind as he nestled his head in the crook of your neck. The grip he had on your hand loosened a bit and when you turned your attention to your boyfriend, you realized that he has fallen asleep.

"Hey, Ace! You're gonna get sick if you sleep here! And the snow is very cold!” you chastised.

"Mhmm.....You're so soft and cuddly like this, [First Name]....." he mumbled sleepily.

”Get off me, Ace!”
