(eng) my things for the start of the semester! since i'll have books to work and write on during the course, i didn't have to buy any notebooks. i bought just a planner so i can keep track of my tasks more effectively. i like to have more of a simple approach when it comes to my notes so there's two black pens of different sizes and a gray and a brown one for titles or anything i want to highlight.

(ptbr) minhas coisas pro começo do semestre! já que eu vou ter livros do curso pra usar e escrever/ fazer as lições, eu não precisei comprar nenhum caderno. eu comprei só esse planner pra eu poder me organizar melhor com as minhas tarefas. com as minhas anotações, eu prefiro fazer elas de maneira mais simples então eu vou usar duas canetas pretas de tamanho de ponteira diferente e uma caneta cinza e uma marrom pra qualquer coisa que eu queira destacar.

I've been seeing TEMU everywhere so I wanted to see for myself if they had good stationery / planner products. This is a quickie review of what I got. Mostly stickers, highlighters, a planner cover, and some paper. Also new desk accessories and an adorable keyboard! There's a longer version on my YouTube in case you want to just look at the products to see for yourself. (Part two is coming just as soon as I finish editing it.)

Not sponsored at all; just curious if the hype was warranted. Overall I'd say this is nice quality off-brand, "no-name" product. It does what it says it will and the price point is really nice. I honestly expected a lot less. I'm sure it depends what kind of items you buy but this stuff can be made quite affordably without much of a sacrifice. (Unless you're into real luxury items.) Nice job TEMU!

she's back!

[10.1.2022] — stationery pal + jetpens late back to school supply haul

the amount of time i was gone matters as much as the amount of money i spent on this shopping spree. which is. uhhh— [clears throat]

but yes! though i am normally chaotic, i was presented the opportunity to reset and was able to determine that i did need to go school supply shopping for this year!

i got myself some stickers, memo pads, sticky notes, pens, clips, and notebooks!

i did get impatient while waiting for the lighting to get good for this picture (it didn't get better than this rip) so I did end up using a lot few of the supplies before picture taking woops

some of my favorites from this haul are the:

glass dip pen

muji polycarbonate mechanical pencil (basic, i know, but surprisingly good!)

midori multi ruler

raymay pencut fluorine coated scissors

kokuyo campus notebooks

most of these are pretty basic but i decided to try and see why some of these are well loved staples in the study community! I'll try and report back soon :)

next post may be on the new desk setup!

popped into muji the other day, mainly for a candle (I know it's ridiculous weather to be buying a candle in, but I don't know how else I'm meant to prove I've finished tidying my room) also picked up a little notebook, another pencil sharpener and a new red pen. whenever I'm not doing my diss/going to work/cooking/tidying up/generally keeping myself alive I've been spending some time with winnie ille pu - I find it almost impossible to shake the feeling of wanting to read some latin when the sun comes out like this, and I thought I'd start in a bearable place (pun intended) this time round. it's been a couple of years since I finished my finals, so the adventures of eduardus ursus are much more up my street than the metamorphoses. the little notebook is to put down any vocab I don't recognise; as ever, the glossary at the back of the book has all the words I recognise and none of the ones I need

Hi hi hi 🍂 I didn't have lessons today so I decided to start revising what we saw yesterday in class 📔 The thing is that I'm the only one who has studied a degree that isn't Chemistry (I've studied Food Science and Technology), so I need to make an effort and look for basic information about chemistry to really understand everything, so wish me luck with the Master!
