A WILLING SLAVE TO THE GAME

Well, we've turned the corner and are well into our 12th year of The Lair. It seems so surreal.. 12 years. I could have a 12 year old child by now.. or a great many other life ordeals that might require around a decade and quite a bit of both tenacity and patience! I must say though it has felt quite natural.. I suppose the time can pass on by when you are living your hobbies. I'm a hobbies-man.

2011 I came into the biz. I was fairly naive, very headstrong and quite confident too. I had been managing the store for two years, buying, but never really handling the money side of things. That was the real learning curve in the first several years, was paying your own bills, navigating how to get through really big invoices, digging into credit card debt.. It was there, that out of necessity, I started to make things.

This is my first time on tumblr since back in those days (2011) when I started a blog, so I'm going to post this as I no longer know what to expect! I'm not entirely sure how to format etc so I'll learn as I go. I'd like to use this space as somewhat of an archive, to collect and post my memories from over the years and keep a weird digital time capsule of this part of my life :) Chat soon xx

i don’t really know if tumblr is that active anymore, but im planning to post some anime content! I know the fma fandom isn’t that alive but for those of you who are here - hi! I’ll post about other animes but mainly that show.

Starting Out

Hello:)

I started this blog to keep track of my coding progress. In the next couple of months, Python is going to be the main focus mainly because I want to learn Qiskit and from what I’ve read the base language for Qiskit is Python (!need to learn classical computing before jumping into quantum computing!!)

On another note, I finally figured out why the websites would default to Helvetica Neue (ALMOST INDECIPHERABLE). All because I installed Helvetica Neue for Photoshop and that managed to get set up as my default web layout font :/

Back to Python, I’ve started going through Python Principles which I should finish soon (on while loops rn) after which I will begin looking through Learn Python the Hard Way. 

ALSO, I initially installed Notepad++ but the indentation settings pissed me off so Pycharm it is! (Colors are amazing as well as the indentations, super sexc).

I’ll post an update next week!

First post

Just started my Tumblr, hoping to post on this platform much more than any my other social media platforms. My parents and people I care about don't use Tumblr, soooo I won't be scaring nobody off and I won't care about what I blog about. I may link this account to my GF... Idk. Anyways, yeah. First post. I'm extreamly new to Tumblr, never used it before but got linked to Ortiel's blog(he made cookie clicker) saw what he did there, and I want something like that eventually.

So about this whole tumblr thing...

I’m Void and you can address me as such or any other deviation you prefer. I’m starting this account to build my writing portfolio and tweak my writing skills. I do take commissions, of course. I love writing for other people, it gives me motivation to do well. I accept any form of fanfiction, original works, or reader inserts. My field is very broad but I must ask that the submissions remain appropriate, I do not often write sexual interactions as they make me uncomfortable. Unless I reblog dialogue starters that have intimate undertones I will not be answering those types of requests. 

The ask box is open and I’m excited to be starting whatever type of hellscape I’m throwing myself into.
