#star vs the forces of evil rant

Maturing is realizing that the Star Vs. The Forces of Evil writers treated Tom like utter shit and he deserved SO much better. Not only did Star herself treat Tom like shit WHEN they were dating, but the way the show bended over backwards for Starco to the point that they ruined everything and were willing to destroy characters around them was sad. Tom went from a guy you could laugh at or legit hate for how toxic and obsessive he was, to a character I genuinely loved to watch and cared about. I will never make the argument that Star should have bowed down to him or anything, but what I like about his character is that he actually changed. He put the effort in to improve himself, and started to respect Star more and more. I also liked how we saw him struggle, he wasn’t used to these things but he pushed though and became a better person.
Then it all had to fucking fall downhill after Star and Tom got back together again in season 3. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll defend Tomstar for my life because they had the perfect chemistry and a more intriguing relationship since Tom actually learned from his mistakes and changed, BUT it was the way the show treated him once they dated. Once they dated everyone and their mama who watched this show KNOWS that the obvious pinning and banter for Starco started to happen. The show would slowly start to push Tom to back and not include him, while introducing the idea that Marco is jealous of Tom secretly and is starting to fall for Star. Literally while the characters were dating, Star and Marco started to have more Uwu moments and no matter how many times Star said “I have a boyfriend”, it was her in the end who treated Tom like garbage. If you also watched the show you’ll know that a lot of people starting to really not like Star because her character basically turned into a HUGE annoying and hypocritical brat, and yeah, she did.
I think the scene that signifies just how bad she treated Tom was where he admitted to her that he knew she kissed Marco and SHE had the nerve to be mad at HIM, painting him out to be the bad guy and then storming off. And yes, I get that Marco is the one who kissed her and it took her by surprise, but the fact that she had the nerve to get pissed at him for not telling her is just….WOW. The same thing happened at a ball party, where Tom for once gave her space and let her do her own thing, and Star acted like a brat and got mad at him for not paying attention to her. And even at the end, Tom never put it against Star or Marco that they kissed when he was dating her, or even all the obvious banter they had. He was never mad at them because that’s how good of a guy he became. And the show just bullshitted him, made him break up with Star for absolutely no reason that would make sense within his character, just so Starco could happen. It was so clear that the writers did not give a shit about Tom and it legit hurts. They massacred my boy and did him dirty.

My f**king most popular post with the most goddamn notes is this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And can confidently say that I hate it. I hate how it keeps popping up in my notifications, and with almost 18k notes, I hate it for how it's the most I've gotten in a single post
I don't hate the post itself, I knew it was bs the moment I posted it. But like...why?! Why did it blow up?! I got other things that barely gets anything because of this.

I’ve never really into SVTFOE fandom but my best friend did and I know how the show ended
But if you think SVTFOE has the worst ending, try Tales of Arcadia

Conversation
Alternative option?
Sasha: Wait a minute, what if instead of risking it all in a fight against the moon we just take all people in Amphibia through the portal back to Earth?
Anne: oh yeah! That way we can live together in one shared wor--
Marcy: NO! WE ARE NOT GETTING CLEAVED! IT WILL NOT ONLY BE RUSHED AND UNSATISFACTORY BUT THE LIVING IMPLICATIONS PROBABLY WILL COLLAPSE THE WORLD INTO CHAOS AND ALL FANS WILL BE ANGRY ABOUT IT FOR YEARS TO COME!!!
Sasha and Anne: ...
Marcy: ... sorry, flashbacks to a series finale of an old show I liked... trust me, it's just a bad idea

May I ask why do you hate Star from star vs? I saw your ask on that critical’s blog
Poor sweet anon, I'm glad you were polite with your ask so I'll give you the best explanation I can. :)
Simply put it season 4 of Star vs the Forces of Evil is very good at ruining their characters, especially Star. She's always been on shaky grounds with me after losing the book of spells but season 3 really highlighted Star's good intentions with her really taking steps to tackle the monster discrimination problem.
My biggest problem with Star in season 4 is that her impulsive choice to give the throne to Eclipsa as soon as possible instead of using her privilege as queen to pardon her immediately set her up for failure. Even if Star had waited until she found Moon to start discussing the idea of giving Eclipsa the throne it could've done a lot to dissuade Moon's concerns about Eclipsa's trustworthiness (which is still a stupid plotline but whatever). All Star had to do was hold the throne and keep doing what she was doing to help monster equality before giving the throne to Eclipsa and this coup would've either been unavoidable or a lot harder to orchestrate. Star literally did more work deposing herself and being Eclipsa's makeshift advisor than she would've had to do being queen a little longer.
Another major problem I have with Star is that her actions, or lack there of, set the course for the destruction of magic itself. Even if the show paints the destruction of magic as a good thing it objectively isn't. @jess-the-vampire is right when she claims that Star committed genocide because the spells are sentient, hell the Spider with a Tophat was sentient enough to have children if I remember correctly. We have episodes exploring the spells personalities so arguing that they aren't sentient doesn't work. Not only that but destroying magic literally caused Mewni itself to collapse in on itself before merging with Earth, which most likely resulted in the detention of monsters and the destruction of Mewman and monster culture thanks to the US government. Several other dimensions relied on the use of magic to function so it's destruction at best destroyed the ways of life for billions and at worst potentially killed billions of people. Hell Star even screwed over Tom because he can't go home now. He's stuck with her and Marco.
Last and least Star is a horrible girlfriend to Tom by cheating on him and lying, leading him on that things will work out instead of being honest. Hell Marco had to tell Tom about the photo booth kiss. Not only that but even when Tom finally lets her go for her sake she literally tries getting herself killed in the vortex of dying magic because she'd rather die with Marco instead of living a life on Mewni without him. And this happens like the day after her and Tom break up. Star almost ditched her dad, her Mewman friends, Eclipsa, for the off chance that she could die with a boy she's been dating for less than a day. She didn't even consider how much it would've hurt any of the people I talked about if she died. In spite of the stupidity, political and moral failings her family and friends supported her to the end of the line. Moon for all of her stupidity and failings in season 4 even helped Star destroy magic for the supposed greater good so she could make amends with Star. And Star spit in the face of all of that support for the chance to die with Marco because the writers made it clear that he was more important to her than anyone else. I forgave Star for her impulsive choices in seasons 1 to 3 but season 4 took everything that was good about her and left the impulsivity and selfishness behind. She's made one mistake too many and that mistake makes her the worst queen in Mewman history.

A minor complaint on the amount of human OCs in SVTFOE
Slight rant here: You know, looking at the Star vs community as a whole and fan artists with their OC creations, I am noticing that many of the OCs (in general as in the majority) has many of their OCs as either humans, Mewmans, half Mewmans, and Butterfly relatives or offspring (some of them being Moon/Toffee or Meteora/Rasticore (my 2 least favorite ships) kids). I mean yes I know that a lot of love were put in to their OCs to make them, but come ooooon!! I've barely seen any OCs who are full monster species or Septarians, let alone anthro dragons. It feels like when a live action movie remake of games or animated shows only focus more on the humans most of the time (there are some exceptions). I mean I'm not complaining about they shouldn't exist, but I just notice that there's so many humans and the monster and non-human side is not getting any love.

Okay hi hello last week i finished svtfoe
Its rant time 👀
I didn't expect to write out my thoughts after each season anywhere but here we are i guess and now i can finally say i watched svtfoe in full!
So season 4
It was mid.
Okay theres more to that obviously, if it was just a season in the middle of the series it would be fine I enjoyed quite a few episodes but when it all comes together its just a complete mess
For me season 3 was the best and after such strong season this was just a disappointment honestly. I was wondering if Star lost her powers completely or what, so seeing her s4e01 using her magic completely fine without a wand was disappointing, like no learning no problems no nothing like i love you star but how tf did you learn that just outta nowhere
Other thing that seems to be completely forgotten is u know descendants of our favorite mc-pie folk? Like i have no problem with that what i have problem with is River. For whole 2 or more episodes he hates on pie folk so much but when he finds out his wife actually comes from pie folk he immediately forgets about that. Like im glad their relationship is okay dont get me wrong but with him being so prejudiced and hateful one minute and then just completely ignoring that is just ooc imo.
There's so much filler or irrelevant stuff happening that I had to look back at list of episodes to remind myself what was even happening
I liked Star being canonically attracted to women in episode I completely forgot about (ransomgram) so thats sth I guess
I really really enjoyed Stars and Toms relationship, maybe its my preference for Tomstar instead of Starco but I just find them so much nicer together. Despite that I also dont mind their eventual break up. I dont like that its so plainly just for Starco purposes its annoying but besides that I would love if their break up did lead up to development for them both. I feel like Tom was completely disregarded at the end of the season and it just bothered me a lot. I love how he grew throughout the series and I grew to like him a lot more than I initially did (which u know I liked him from the beginning anyway) and I love how much he cared for Star. It would be great if after the break up Star also could learn and like she wanted to try to find out who she is outside being "magical princess" that would be so great to see! but u know instead we got Starco :|
and now for Marco. I liked what he had going on w Kelly I thought it was cute u know? being breakup buddies thats adorable! and I didnt even mind blood moon curse I think it would be an okay closure for Starco and even then I feel like Marco and Star would be great platonic soulmates, instead of going w u know expected romance and stuff. Cause sure they have a strong bond I just feel like the romance part is bs, especially the confession scene I am sorry it was so bad. I dont mind Starco mind you but if I was keeping up w it at the time and 4 seasons of waiting led up to that I would be angry. I still am despite basically binging it, its just so weak I cant. The whole "I liked you from the start" no you didnt u liked Jackie (also good on her for getting french gf what a girlboss) and Star had a crush on Oskar and probably some other boys idk. It only got weird when Star started to have feelings for Marco while he was still obviously into Jackie, either way it was bad. Actually just now I read the synopsis the time they got feelings for each other was apparently blood moon ball? what? Star was charmed before she realized its Marco okay? and Marco idk didnt trust Tom and wanted to help Star which valid Tom had issues in s1 dskjds
I love Eclipsa so much I think she is my favorite character honestly. and her relationship w Globgor is just everything? Theyre so perfect and sweet and great w each other I want to have what they have ;-; She was so ready to do anything for him and vice versa and while reading some comments I kinda figured out how it feels so dear to me. Ik its interaccial or interspecies relationship so the metaphor isnt perfect but it feels so inherently queer. While being queer myself just seeing them care so much for each other while being ostracized by everyone around hits a bit close to home haha but yeah its amazing. and both of them separately are great too. While ik we only got few minutes of Globgor actually on screen I just liked him every second (and also it was funny to realize the guy from Jane the virgin dubs him pfpfpf) and Eclipsa is amazing too doing everything just to keep her family safe it was great.
okay few more things
I hate how Marco was literally stabbed but it didnt mean shit like at all. Its Stars wand all over again and it bothers me. Like sure it would suck if he died but also dont stab him then?
And I think I dont have to say this but ending is so bad. Like yeah ig the magic dimension when poofing out of existence could connect mewni and earth together but why only earth and mewni and also how did Star and Marco escape magic dimension??? again no consequences to their actions or not really anyway smh
and I havent even touched on magic or world building but thats gonna be another long post tee hee
Either overall I liked svtfoe quite a lot despite its problems and now I just wanna make cosplays and stuff haha

Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. Wait. You’re telling men the evaluation test that star did was chapter one spell one of her book??? Was star being taught that poorly or was she taught so long ago she forgot and only remembers about the ones she made up??? Forgetting sounds plausible or like she was going to be taught the normal way but then her adhd brain couldn’t handle it so Glossyaryck switched it up? Either way looking at how often she was able to go out to dance clubs as a child and the whole moving her to another world thing…. Her parents are high key neglectful? Even if they’re letting her stay with a family with parents so she’s not technically on her own, Marcos parents have made it obvious they’re just as neglectful!! Although they have shown if things get like dangerous (and they know about it) they’ll context stars parents. AND LIKE everyone can see her wand is broken? And Glossyaryck went inside and tried to fix it…. Why has no one tried to look for the other half of the star? Star was just like “oooh new wand” like she doesn’t question it but didn’t someone say they hope they have all the pieces…. SHE VERY CLEARLY DOES NOT!! So why was never a search for the prices!!?!

The Forgotten-2
Pairing: Lucifer X Butterfly!fem!reader
Fandom: Hazbin Hotel x Star vs the forces of evil
Warnings: this takes place before Season 1, Alternative Universe,
One| Two |Three |Navigation
A few months has passed since you met a man under a tree, now knowing his name as Lucifer Morningstar. You instantly became friends with him because of some shared interest.
You always sneak out of the Castle because of this.Loving spending time with your new friend.
Always meeting up under the Apple tree and tell stories about your day. Well sometimes there were day's he didn't show up and you never questioned it , after all he didn't say anything about his life and you didn't tell about yours. Only about neutral things.
Another days ,you just got back from the Earth Dimension and still no sign of your Beloved friend Lucifer.
You sighed
"Princess (Name) Butterfly!" You heard someone call out , you turned around to see Glossaryck and felt sweat drip down on your face.
"hey Glossaryck"you smiled awkwardly and did gunfingers to him. You didn't attend your lessons today and ran away to meet up with Lucifer unfortunately he wasn't there.
"running away are we Your Highness? learning magic is important as Princess of Mewni blah blah"he said but the end you felt your ears shut down to see your sister and you heard Glossaryck sigh
"Eclipsa!"you said running and waving hand to her as Glossaryck,She smiled when she spotted you.
"hello (Name)"You smile faltered, Your sister doesn't call you by your name, only your Nickname that was given to you by your Father.
"My Queen"Glossaryck bowed
"ahh Glossaryck can you give some privacy for a moment?"he looked at you with hesitation "Don't worry Glossaryck I won't run off somewhere " you explained and he sighed but nodded.
As Glossaryck left ,you and your sister were alone in the hallway.
"ok,tell me what got you down?"you saw a her having an inner battle in her head.
"what do you mean (Name)?"she asked faking her confusion.
"Eclipse, I'm your Little sister and one of your closest friends . infact your only friend so , i know when something upsets you" You told her and she bit her lip. You waited patiently for answer.
"well umm , it's just that..."she hesitated "as you know our family has the tradition to pass the wand down to an heir and-"
"YOUR PREGNANT?!?"You cut her off and saw her laughed.
"heaven's no! But the people were wondering when will there be introduce to another Princess in the Palace..."
"A new heir...?"you questioned
"wait with Shastacan?"you saw her face pale.
"SHASTACAN?!"
"well who else would be..."
"uhh, he's such a narcissist!" You ranted about how bad her Husband is and Eclipsa face grew paler than before.
You noticed this and stopped "Sorry Eclipse..."you felt bad for her she didn't even want to marry Shastacan but it was your mother's dying wish.
After that, you were about to go Glossaryck for your lessons but you passed a familiar room.
The Rooms of Queen Tapestry.. eh you didn't really know what this was room was called.
You walked in, seeing all of your ancestors and you uncle, your uncle became king when you mother died. Since you and Eclipsa are still very young,he took over for awhile. Next to his was...
Your Mother.. Solaria the Monster Carver.
You did miss you mother Truly, you didn't even felt Keekee transform and now she was comforting you.
"mother, hopefully you had a good reason for Eclipse to marry Shastacan, right?"you told her but no one answered.
You felt bad when you found out about this dying wish of your mother. You knew Eclipsa was inlove with someone else but didn't know who?
You wanted your sister to marry and have children with someone she loves, not someone who she was forced with. You walked around to see your sister's Tapestry about to be begin.
A Lot of people were confused of why it hasn't even begun yet when Eclipsa became Queen. You eyes widened as it as being made.
Does this mean Eclipsa's fate has been written?
Keekee followed you as you meet up with Glossaryck, you were learning some spells and read about a butterfly form.
"i thought we we're done with that mewberty butterfly form ?" You asked.
"that is , well how do i explain this to...ehh basically different from Mewberty and it's more powerful when you are in this form" Glossaryck explained.
More powerful?
Can only unlock in time of need?
You feel like this could help you defend your sister from monsters."I'll keep you safe Eclipse..."you muttered
"huh?"
"nothing!"
After another day you snuck out and went back to earth.
And finally you saw him
"Lucifer Morningstar! Where have you been?!"he heard you and flinched.
"hey n/n"he smiled awkwardly as you walked to him with arms crossed on your chest.
"okay before you kill me..."he said grabbing something from his bag and it was a...
Duck?
"i was making this for you,i made it to looked like you a little also putting some details like the marks on your cheeks-" you cut him off with a hug.
"thanks Luci"he was stunned and now very red.
"y-your w-welcome"he stutter and tried to hides his blushing face from you.
"are you blushing?"
"am not"
"yes you are~"
"stop~"
"hehe"
A/n: sorry if its short , and has little Lucifer content but don't worry in the future 🥹

I thought I was the only one who preferred TomStar over Starco.
I’ll be honest tho, while I don’t mind the latter ship, I feel there wouldn’t have been as many negative feelings if how the ship was executed didn’t happen.
Also agree that they should’ve treated him better. He was a really interesting character.
Oh no yeah definitely, Starco could have definitely worked, this is coming from someone who used to ship them immensely. But not only did the show drag it out and created characters and annoying plot points JUST to serve to the ship and then shove it all away, but the show themselves proved to me that they were better off with the other love interests, and just as friends. It could have been executed so much better, but with how they treated it, I got sick of them and legit realized that Tom was better for Star, until THEN realizing that Star was a bitch to him and Tom deserved so much better, hell…MARCO AND TOM had more chemistry and a good and interesting dynamic relationship than Starco Lmao.

Ok, I know She-ra reboot wasn't your fandom, but you allowed allows to rant about it in your ask box, which I thank you for.
So, we all come from different cultures and have different beliefs. We can't all collectively agree on what Adora and Catra are to each other. But we will take some facts. So, they were two orphans that grew up in a foster home environment and had the same foster mother, but we all know they saw Shadow Weaver was a literal mother, they just never explicitly called her mom. Now, one thing was is that Catra and Adora were very close as children and growing up, that Adora being the sweetheart she was always tried to include Catra even when Catra pushed her away. Catra is a cat girl so she slept by Adora's feet, they apparently even showered together? (Idk how true that is, I think someone who worked on the show said that, I don't remember it being in or mentioned in the show, if anyone wants to come enlighten me) ok, so we get it. They were very close growing up.
Ok, now here's my gripe with the trope. So ND Stevenson revealed early on that Catradora would be end game. A lot of people had their beef with that, especially since some felt the show didn't show any character growth for their romance. So they end up together at the end, they kiss and credits roll.
So, I looked it up. The trope doesn't exactly have a name? But it's "we were very close as children, got separated for a bit, but we reunited to date now", yeah a mouth full. I wouldn't call it childhood romance tbh. I've seen this trope used in other shows and media. I don't like that trope. More examples are star vs the forces of evil, but you know, we'd had to watch Star and Marco be with other people first. But it's different since they met at 14 and 15 and were roommates for a bit before Star returned to Mewni for a bit and they kissed before the finale.
There's a lot of animes with this trope too. Kizaiver, Your Lie in April, Blue Spring Ride, A Silent Voice. Sorry, just tried naming some popular animes from the top of my head.
Ok, I don't understand this trope. I'm sorry, I just don't find it realistic. When I've seen "real life" examples, turns out they just had history together in 8th grade and sat at different tables never speaking to each other, but met at 26 and got married later. Ok sorry, this is weirdly specific. Just I feel like this trope isn't real or applicable to real life. I feel like some people just want to emphasize and put importance to their relationship in a way that's not true or wasn't there.
So here's how it applies to HB. So Viv really saw some cute fanart and incorporated and changed the story up for it????
Ok???? But like....the ship is still so bad....
It just feels so forced and feels like she went this way cause she saw it a few times in other works.
Ok, sorry for the rant. I just truly feel like some creators pull stuff out of their ass to try making us ship bad ships.
Thanks for the insight into Catradora. I think regardless of how two characters meet, whether they knew each other as kids or not, it's not going to be a good ship if the writing isn't there.
Honestly I think Stolitz was never going to feel natural or sincere -- why none of her canon ships ever really do -- because Vivzie doesn't seem to get why one human being loves another. Her understanding of it stalled early on in her yaoi fic days and never went anywhere beyond that. They're gay, that's enough for Viv.

Ahsoka Rant: Colors and Fallen Jedi
It's Saturday, so I finally have time to sit down and write this analysis for Ahsoka that I've wanted to do on the importance of colors in Star Wars, and how it directly correlates to Ahsoka and explains the title for episode 4: Fallen Jedi.
Star Wars has always identified the hero and the villain of the show through colors and costuming. Anyone can walk into a Star Wars movie and without any other context identify the good and the bad guy based on the fact that the good guy wears light colors and the bad guy wears dark.
Don't believe me.
Phantom Menace:
Tumblr media
Attack of the Clones:
Tumblr media
Revenge of the Sith:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A New Hope:
Tumblr media
The Empire Strikes Back:
Tumblr media
We see this light vs dark costuming choice in most Star Wars media. Our biggest exceptions are:
Anakin: After the Phantom Menace Anakin is always in dark colors. And even then his costume takes a gradual change to Darth Vaders full black.
Tumblr media
(Attack of the Clones vs Revenge of the Sith. You can see his costume gets darker)
Tumblr media
Luke: In Return of the Jedi, when he is close to giving into the dark side.
Tumblr media
And now Ahsoka (up til ep. 5):
Tumblr media
What is soooo interesting about the first 4 episodes of the Ahsoka show, is that you can't identify the good and the bad guys just by looking at their costumes. Everyone in the scene above is wearing dark colors. And they are all shades of grey.
The purpose of ep. 4: Fallen Jedi is to show that every Jedi we have seen up to this point in the show is a Fallen Jedi. They all carry aspects of the Jedi, but none of them are true Jedi.
Lets start with Baylan and Shin. The first time we are introduced to them mirrors the first time we are introduced to Qui-Gon and Obi Wan.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hoods over their heads, mysterious, walking side by side. Exactly how we know the Jedi to typically appear. Obi Wan and Anakin, even Luke, all typically enter a new area this way.
I would describe Baylan as Lawful Evil. He still believes in the practices of the Jedi, but not the Jedi code. He has Shin wear an apprentice braid
Tumblr media
They stay together so he can teach her at all time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And he keeps his word to Sabine.
But his morals reflect that of Vader. And his fight to rescue Morgan Elsebeth mirrors Vader fighting the Rebels at the end of Rogue One/ beginning of A New Hope.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The most interesting aspect of this duo is the Shin has the lightest costume of the two (It's also lighter than Ahsoka and Sabine's costumes). It is closer in design and color to the typical Jedi outfit, while Baylan still wears Clone Wars armor.
Tumblr media
Baylan is the Jedi who fell during the Clone Wars. He feels he only knows how to destroy to create something better. Shin is still an apprentice, doing purely what her master tells her, and could go either way in the force. Her costuming suggests that her fate could swing and Ahsoka and Sabine could sway her away from the dark side. Either way, they have both certainly fallen from the Jedi Path.
Ahsoka is also fallen Jedi. Soon after meeting Ahsoka again we get this exchange between her and Hyuang.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ahsoka flat out tells us that she doesn't follow Jedi protocol. Though those of us who know Ahsoka from the Clone War know that this is literally nothing new. AND THAT'S THE POINT. Ahsoka was taught a mix of the Jedi code and a Warrior code, because that's what Anakin had to teach her to keep her alive. Ahsoka has been a fallen Jedi since the accusation that caused her to leave.
Unlike Baylan, Ahsoka doesn't follow standard Jedi teaching practices. Sabine doesn't have an apprentice braid. They don't stick together
Tumblr media
And even when they are together, Ahsoka keeps a purposeful distance, like she's afraid of the responsibility.
Tumblr media
And like Baylan, her outfit mimics her Clone Wars armor (from season 7)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Baylan even directly addresses this to Ahsoka. That she only knows how to fight.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A Jedi should know other ways, other options. But all Baylan and Ahsoka know is how to fight. (Which is why Anakin's lesson to Ahsoka in ep.5 is soo important. Look forward to another rant from yours truly on it more in depth.)
Knowing that Ahsoka has been a fallen Jedi for such a long time, seeing her in her fallen Jedi state, makes her transition to Ahsoka the White in ep. 5 so much more powerful, because seeing the main character finally in light colors tells us what we knew all along. That there is sooo much good in Ahsoka, just like there was good in her master before her, and his before him, etc. And we finally get to see Ahsoka in live action not as the fallen Jedi who has been picking and choosing her responsibilities, but as the Jedi Ahsoka is. With so much love, compassion, and kindness. I'm so excited to have the Ahsoka that we all know and love back!

Is Kikimora a power hungry goblin who's willing to kill a teenager? Yes. Is she the reason I started watching The Owl House? Also yes. So on a meta level I cannot physically hate her unless she gets the Moon Butterfly treatment.
