Spring has Sprung photo challenge
Week 1: Reading
Courtney is my newest doll and I'm having so much fun with her. I couldn't resist posing her like the covers of the early Pleasant Company catalogs, with girls reading to their dolls. My Courtney has Kirsten until we obtain a mini Molly.

I’m so deeply tired. Everyone in my house is sick. We rarely, rarely ALL get sick at the same time. Usually it’s staggered and somehow I typically manage to escape getting whatever cold or virus is going around. Not this time. Thankfully none of us are super sick — it’s just a sore throat/congested/snotty cold — but damn. Poor Derrick is waking up more because he feels crappy, and I’m happy to be his comfort and help him fall back asleep when he needs, but also.. I feel crappy too dude. Moms shouldn’t be allowed to get sick.
Silver linings: we had a great weather day here and got to sit outside and have some low key play time. These boys are everything. A random turkey even came wandering through the yard despite us being right there. I also got to see a European starling for the first time. Pretty cool.

Spring has Sprung, week 3: Colors
Four girls have dressed in their favorite colors.
Courtney loves deep, rich colors. American Girl’s Sparkly Plum outfit is her favorite.
Gabriela agrees with Courtney, and looks especially beautiful in her teal Celebration dress.
Lea looks stunning in Gwen’s white sundress, and Ivy is radiant in AG’s Butterfly Brocade Dress.

Week 2: Theater
Rebecca Rubin is a natural on the stage. When her school puts on a performance of Shakespeare's comedy As You Like It, Rebecca plays the part of Rosalind, the brave heroine who flees to the forest after being dismissed from the king's court.
Dear Celia, I show more mirth than I am mistress of; and
would you yet I were merrier? Unless you could teach me to forget
a banished father, you must not learn me how to remember any
extraordinary pleasure.
Costume made by me.

I fulfilled the poll
“Fields of flowers, skies so blue,
The world awakens, bright and new.
Spring’s embrace, so warm and kind,
A season’s dance, in rhythm we find.”
