back when the two of you were still in the horde, it was all the two of you could ever do

sparring together was sort of like your version of a romantic evening together, since there wasn't much else you two could do

even now that you and adora are out of the horde and could go on normal dates like everyone else, you still prefer to spar together

sure, going out to eat together or watching the sunset together are quite romantic in their own way, but nothing beats sparring with each other

you two are already so used to it, that it would feel wrong to suddenly stop and pretend like two were just a normal couple like everyone around you

This is Earth!Glimbow how they look to me in The Other Me, after the events of the fic. They've had a long day pitching their new company to investors and really need to sleep because they are both dead on their feet. But Bow insisted on doing the dishes first so Glimmer is "helping."

Did I hurt you?”   He narrowed his eyes at Entrapta.  She had touched the top of his nasal-frame with her gloved index finger.  He had felt no pain from it, but was completely surprised by the sudden close contact and also its casualness.   He clenched his teeth to avoid yelling at his lab partner.  He wasn’t truly angry, just baffled.   “What was that…Entrapta?”  “Oh, a boop?”  “What, pray tell, is a ‘boop?”   “What I just did to you!” Entrapta answered.   “Why?”  “Oh, for science!” she casually answered.  “As you know, I am incredibly curious about your body.  Your nasal-bridge is unlike any humanoid I’ve seen!  I was just dying to figure out how it worked and was overcome with an urge to just…to just touch it!”  Hordak deftly dodged a second attempt at a “boop.”   “Cease this tomfoolery at once!”   “It’s also oh, so cute!  I don’t know why, but many Etherians have the urge to boop the noses of small animals!”  “Do I look like a small animal?”  “No, but you are cute!”   Hordak’s ears dipped and he immediately wore a deep blush.  He recovered quickly, hoping that Entrapta had not seen it.  Judging by the ear-to-ear grin she wore, she had, indeed, seen it.   __________________ Also to be found on Ao3 among my misc collection: Dog Days in the Horde.

It was finally happening!

Glimmer and Adora was going to have a full day together.

Glimmer had cleared her calendar. She had re-cleared it. She had very, very carefully explained to her personal assistants that she was not to be disturbed unless it was a life or death situation (and implied that if she was, she might very well be creative when it came to just who's death).

She had booked a table at her favourite café. And that bought tickets to the zoo. And then there was that little ridiculously overpriced spa with the oversized hot tubs...

scorpia wasn't a bad person, even if she was your enemy. hordak, catra or the others working with the horde, they were true villains. but scorpia was just a good person who got caught up in all of this and ended up on the wrong side. that much was clear, when the woman who was supposed to be your enemy showed concern for you.

“who did this to you…?”

scorpia gestured towards your injured arm, the wound still fresh. blood was soaking your shirt and it looked rather painful.

“your friend did. catra.”

you huffed her name with such disgust.

“i–”

scorpia parted her lips, wanting to defend her friend. but she couldn't. she knew what catra had done to you was wrong and so…

“i'm sorry… it doesn't make up for the injury, but catra shouldn't have done that.”

you were surprised to hear her be so honest with you. anyone else would've called her weak for that and you assumed that she's been called that plenty times at her time with the horde. and yet, you respected her for doing the right thing.

“thank you, i guess…” you mumbled. “maybe you're not as bad as your friends…”
