Many people who first get started on their manifesting journey will come across a variety of sources, explanations, tutorials, techniques, and methods. When faced with all these different options and an abundance of content to apply, it can be quite overwhelming to know exactly what to do. How many times do I affirm a day? What scene should I use for my visualization? What are SATS and how do I do it perfectly? How do I get rid of my wavering? Do I need to fix my self-concept? Why is my 3d not changing? These are all questions that have been floating around the internet, and we all know the short answer is to persist, but people might wonder what’s so effortless in turning a blind eye to the harshest circumstances and putting faith into something you don’t have concrete proof of yet.
4D vs 3D
With the 4D referring to your inner world, your imagination & mind, and the 3D being the familiar physical construct of the reality you know, it’s hard to understand navigating daily life while “living in your head.” One of the biggest fears or doubts people have during their first stage of learning the Law is not knowing how to handle the 3D. A common misunderstanding is that you have to be delusional about your surroundings and completely ignore it. This is extremely difficult to achieve because our logical minds will always be aware of the 3D environment we live in. Being delusional when manifesting an SP might be trying to convince yourself your phone is filled with texts from them when that notification isn’t there. It could also be looking at a completely broke bank account and trying to convince yourself that you’re rich. Another thing about being delusional is that it implies you are avoiding the 3D or unable to acknowledge it since you fear seeing the circumstances that do not align with your desire, either because you believe they will hinder your manifestation, or it pulls you away from your ideal 4D. To avoid or to fear something is often confirmation of a belief you hold. When you view the 3D as a problem or something you cannot face, it means you haven’t been able to find full conviction in knowing you already are the person who has your desire even though you can’t see it yet.
“If you judge after appearances, you will continue to be enslaved by the evidence of your senses.” ― Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune.
Manifesting is not about being delusional in an attempt to hide from what you see. It is to see the 3D for what it truly is, merely a reflection of your past states of consciousness, therefore freeing yourself and making new internal selections for the life you wish to experience. It is where you have been dwelling long enough for it to reflect into your individual reality, since it confirms what you assume to be true for your life, but it is not the objective truth as you perceive it to be. Once you change your perception of yourself and completely discard the old beliefs that tie you to the past and present 3D, your whole world will change.
Creation is finished
Another trap people might fall into is constantly worrying about whether their old story is too complicated or difficult to fathom being able to change it. The truth is, it does not matter when your SP blocked you, how long you guys haven’t seen each other, how you’re one week away from being homeless, or if your dream life seems light years away. This is because of one simple concept. Creation is finished. Everything you could possibly desire within reason of our human biology and experience is already promised to us in a different probable reality. There are infinite versions of ourselves and others, and your 3D will move mountains if that is necessary to bring about your desire, but under the condition that you have truly changed yourself first. Do not expect things to change if you have not changed yet.
“Because creation is finished, what you desire already exists. It is excluded from view because you can see only the contents of your own consciousness. It is the function of an assumption to call back the excluded view and restore full vision. It is not the world but your assumptions that change. An assumption brings the invisible into sight. It is nothing more nor less than seeing with the eye of God, i.e.,” ― Neville Goddard, The Power of Awareness
Letting go vs persistence
Let go of the past, lack, desperation, and need. Persist in making the decision that you have your desire, regardless of it being unseen right now. To be honest, no matter how sympathetic people are towards your story, the anger, frustration, heartbreak, and guilt you feel is only reinforcing how you see yourself and your reality. Holding negative feelings towards someone for what they’ve done to you is understandable from the 3D perspective, but it does not benefit anyone if you are going to manifest a behavior change from them. If you are still blaming an SP for blocking you, does that sound like someone who feels as though they are already in a beautiful loving relationship with them?
“Do not waste one moment in regret, for to think feelingly of the mistakes of the past is to reinfect yourself. ‘Let the dead bury the dead’. Turn from appearances and assume the feeling that would be yours were you already the one you wish to be.” ― Neville Goddard, Feeling is the Secret
Going back to the questions mentioned in the first paragraph, it’s important to know that the word “change” is referring to a change in your beliefs and dominant state of awareness. It does not mean an effort based lifestyle change where you feel pressured to affirm or visualize in an unnatural way against your own will. Changing your state is as simple as making a decision each time you think of your desire throughout the day. You are free to change how you think and feel at any moment. It is not the event itself that holds meaning, but your reaction that implies acceptance.
“Man, who is free in his choice, acts from conceptions which he freely, though not always wisely, chooses. All conceivable states are awaiting our choice and occupancy, but no amount of rationalizing will itself yield us the state of consciousness which is the only thing worth seeking.” ― Neville Goddard, Awakened Imagination
It does not matter how many times you affirm or which words you say. You can affirm once a day or 10k a day (please don’t do that though), but if you haven’t changed your beliefs at all, then nothing will happen. Quality over quantity for anything you do. Mental dieting and keeping yourself in check for what thoughts and beliefs you are entertaining has proven to be easier and faster for many people.

(you)r sp and you ♡
i have already made a post about how you should love yourself and your sp will love you almost as much (bc they actually are you!) but lets go into more detail
a lot of you guys, including me, wanted to get into a relationship. and with that, youve discovered the law of assumption. the basics start off with whatever you assume will be. but after months of arguing, harassment, and bullying on twitter, you’re probably confused and too scared to ask.
FUCK THAT. let me be the one to tell you that none of it matters. you very much can and WILL manifest your sp. others false opinions (false because theyre not real) mean nothing. this isnt a loass post though im talking about non dualism (which is not the same).
“but wait… i want my sp and non dualism isnt about getting so why would i-“ because your sp shouldnt be someone that brings you happiness. they should be someone who adds to your quality of life. why does that sound like loass vs non dualism? because it is.
people use the law of assumption to manifest desires for their physical world. theres nothing wrong with that! that is how i manifested my current relationship. however, when we speak about non dualism, it goes beyond trying to get anything. youre just being. and “getting” into a relationship can very much help or make your false sense of self feel better. you as consciousness know relationships themselves dont exist because it is you but your ego, the false sense of self doesnt know that. it wants to experience love as part of the human condition. but youre still not getting anything. lemme explain.
you were trying to “get” something that was never outside of you TO make you happy. that doesnt make sense when not only are they you, but they are apart of you. everything your awareness is on “reflects” how you feel about yourself because all there is is you.
lets go back to non dualism’s basics. everything is consciousness = you creation is brought on by your awareness = you. “but back when x happened-“ the past and the future do not exist. the only thing that exist is now. you cant “apply” this way of thinking to something that doesnt exist. that makes no sense. youre just going to confuse yourself. i am telling you RIGHT NOW the only truly real thing is YOU. that is all there is and will ever be. you can control your awareness through observations meaning youre in total control. read that again.
so when it comes to your sp, romantic or not, they are never not yours. they were never not you or not a part of you. every thought, feeling, affirmation, or word you wrote down, they have received. because its you. think about it. are you ever aware of anything youre unaware of? (no). because things only exist the moment youre aware of them!
and remember, if something can come to our awareness like a relationship and leave our awareness it is not real. but you, as consciousness are infinite and are always here and always consciousness. so you are real!
after discovering non dualism i have thought about the feelings my boyfriend has presented to me and how they currently match the feelings i have for myself. i have always loved myself and will always love myself. if i didnt, how could i expect my creation, which is a projection of my own self image, to have different feelings than me? your sp isnt a separate person. Your relationships will always show how you feel about yourself, romantic or platonic. they’re not real because they come and go through your awareness but your ego as the false self believes they are. and thats okay. thats its job. let it be and observe them as consciousness.
nothing can happen outside of your awareness because the moment you are aware/conscious of something, it exist instantly. so if your sp is treating you the way you dont want to be treated then reflect on your own feelings about yourself. this DOES NOT necessarily mean work on your self concept. ask yourself if “you” think youre worthy of what it is your ego desires. a lot of my blockage came from that. i had to fall in love with myself so my ego could comprehend how i could be loved. because its still me.
lets talk about “free will”.
“free will” doesn’t exist. lemme tell you why. the idea of free will is a person outside of you having a say in their own life. the basic principle of non dualism means theres only one being, consciousness (you). so tell me how can “another person” “outside” of you have a say in their “own lives” when none of that exist in the first place?
your sp having or not having free will shouldn’t effect how you feel about them unless you see them as a separate entity outside of you. they’re not an “object” you control theyre your creation and another form of consciousness so of course you have control over your creations you have control over EVERYTHING.
your sp feels the same way you feel about yourself. always. if you dont feel good about yourself then i do suggest working on your self concept. not to “get” anything but for YOURSELF! why not love yourself? why cart that responsibility off to your creation?
at the end of the day, itll just be you surrounded by your creations. you can pick and choose what they are specifically BUT THE ONLY REAL THING IS YOU

SP + Romance Affirmation of the Day
I'm always receiving love confessions! People that I am attracted to are attracted to me. My admirers wish they could kiss the ground where I walk. I always seem perfect to them. My SP is so proud of having an absolute piece of art as the object of their affections. I am respected and treated like I am precious. Romance is a mainstay in my life.
Options on How to Affirm:
repeat to self out loud or inside your head (robotically affirm) for 10 minutes straight.
repeat to self out loud or inside your head (robotically affirm) while using the counter app. Choose your own numeric goal.
record on Parrot app and loop for desired amount of time.
script this onto paper as much as you want for as long as you want, I recommend saying it outloud as you write.
visualize whatever will signify and prove to you that this affirmation is real
meditate upon the feeling of how it would feel if the affirmation was true, identify as that feeling being true and continue to dwell in that feeling/state
Remember, methodologies are as varied as the calculator vs. the abacus vs. mental math vs. counting with your fingers - they all accomplish the same goal.
xx, gigi

Enneagram 4 Wanda Maximoff is Whack
Tumblr media
Introduction
Hello so, this typing...I've talked about it before a bit on my misunderstanding of enneagram 4 however I wanted to go a bit more in-depth as to why I find it odd. It's been very common for Wanda to be typed as an E4 ever since her introduction to the MCU (same with her comic counter part). Even tho to me it doesn't make allot of sense. So Im gonna analyze the problems with this typing in this post. If you disagree thats ok we can discuss it.
Why Not Enneagram
E4 structure
The enneagram 4s core desire is Depth. Similar to everyone in the heart triad they look to full fill a desired image. In order to do so they create a persona of sort. The 4 creates an image of depth and brokenness. One important key aspect to distinguish with the 4 is the image (pseudo depression) vs real life depression. The part where it might get confusing is that the image of brokenness of the 4 can be a product, real or just made up.
Expressing Pain
I think one of the most interesting aspect of this typing is where is the line of sharing pain when it comes to enneagram 4 vs every other type. While the pseudo depressive aspects of four are usually in high display there is another key element that these arguments forget. The enneagram 4 expresses this sadness in order to be seen as deep ,authentic and special. They are frustration type after all, their dilemma is the need to be seen as deep while struggling to the reality that its an image they upheld.
They are an image type
Ive noticed this a constant when it comes to allot of mistypes that have come up as of recently (Nancy Downs SX4, Cassie Howard SX3 and Asuka Langley SX2). Image types are (imo at least) easier to understand but ive noticed there Is a constant misunderstanding of what the image is vs what the individual is. The Image types have these ideals they have in their head and go about life trying to imitate them in the closest way possible.
Enneagram 4 Wanda...
After this brief overview of the structure of 4, how does it apply to Wanda? When it comes to the core desires of 4 I don't see how it applies to Wanda. She never seems to look for depth in her self or others. And she doesn't seem to portray an image of uniqueness either. Most of her "reactions come from her upbringing in life rather than a need to express brokenness and uniqueness through experience. In simpler terms: she's just depressed and is traumatized, she doesn't use her trauma as a marketing tool. Im gonna go through every subtype in E4 since I've seen her typed ass all of them at least once.
4w5 so/sx The social 4 looks to relate to others through their 'brokenness' and have to share it with others. The SO type In general has this belief of a place of belonging in the world so most of them spent their lives looking to be listened and heard. This doesn't apply to Wanda at all. I dont believe Wanda is a SO type at all she doesn't look for a grand place where she can share her sadness and uniqueness with others.
4w5 sp/sx I don't think SP4 is as bad of a typing for Wanda however the SP4 subverts the 4s attitudes allot through a need of difference they aren't as angry and expressive. I think this typing is mostly superficial. Since the "sad girl" archetype is usually attached to it.
4w5 sx/sp This is definitely directed at her anger in MoM. I think most people focused on the anger part rather than why that anger is there to begin with. Also the SX4 is the most Envious of all 3 subtypes In the E4. Wanda doesn't ever express or even gets close to show the envy of the 4. Further more how does Wanda represent the envy of 4?.
The Envy of 4
Their envy is represent through this belief that they are inherently more deep and authentic than other people so "what is that others have that I don't" its a metaphysical question not literal one. Which is why I ask myself how does Wanda get constantly typed as a 4 if she has nothing other being sad that points to her being a 4.
Other Typings to Consider
To be positive here are some typings that I think fit her more.
6w5 sp/sx
In my personal opinion SP6 Wanda makes allot of sense. The idea that Wanda is a frustration type never made much sense to me either. Her being an attachment type and looking for emotional safety through interpersonal connections makes sense. I think the idea that she is an unhealthy 6 that has fully disintegrated to her 9 could also be a solid argument for her.
9w8 sp/sx
Personally this is my preferred typing for Wanda (Positive+Attachment+Withdrawn) she is clearly looking for emotional satisfaction and bliss in life. In WandaVision we see her overindulging in this. Also the SP subtype in general suits her well. Her needs are always related to her self and those around her rather than the outer world.
9w8 sx/sp I used to type her as an SX9 however Ive changed my mind a bit. I still think it's plausible for her to be an SX9 however she doesn't seem to fuse her own personal desires with others and ignore life through interpersonal connections. However I do see some traits of the SX9 such as a need for attachment.
Conclusion
I personally think ive settled for SP9 Wanda however im still open to having conversation if you disagree.
PS the next zodiac is Aries

Sam Porter Bridges' MBTI + Enneagram Typology (pt. 1)
Tumblr media
MBTI: ISTP (Ti-Se-Ni-Fe)
Enneagram: 9w8
Instinctual Variant: sp/sx
Tritype: 963
(Higgs analysis)
MBTI Analysis
Like Higgs, Sam's MBTI is pretty easy to identify right off. Words I frequently hear to describe ISTPs: quiet, gruff, grumpy, grouchy, closed-off, etc. There are tons of these guys in fiction. Arthur Morgan, Daryl Dixon, Jim Hopper, John Wick, etc etc that should give you a sense of the archetype at hand. That good old, salt-of-the-earth, jack-of-all-trades, reliable tough guy who's a real softie deep down behind a facade of aloof moodiness and outward dissatisfaction.
ISTP describes Sam very well. He's resourceful, observant, direct, authentic, independent, steadfast, spontaneous, unapologetic, insensitive at times, private/reserved, and skeptical. For the most part, ISTPs are straightforward and easy to get a read on. True to type, Sam is usually grounded in his present reality, doesn't tend to leap to assumptions or go along with them when others do, relies on his own experience and resolve, and he approaches life with a level head. Behind that initial impression, ISTPs are one of the most difficult personalities to get to know deeply... or at all. They march to the beat of their own drum, keep their emotions locked down tight most of the time, and are very slow to trust. Prying and prodding doesn't work with these folks, unless you're looking to provoke an aggressive reaction, in which case you'll likely get it. Given his aphenphosmphobia, this goes triple for Sam for the broad majority of Death Stranding's runtime; we see a few examples of other characters pushing him to the point that he bites back, i.e. telling Deadman off when he brought up his wife and child.
Most of my character analysis leans on Sam's internal monologue from the Death Stranding novelization, as it's a very detailed peek inside his head, into his mind's inner workings and his overall emotional tendencies. Keep that in mind going forward.
ISTPs are one of the most introverted personality types, alongside INTJs, and are often social hermits, lone wolves with little regard for social norms and accepted rules. They're easily frustrated by a world built on social conventions that are based in emotional values, so they move through it at their own pace and keep their heads down. ISTPs are staunch pragmatists, quietly navigating life through material sensibilities and their own unique creativity; they're driven by instinct. Like ENTP (see: Higgs) they're attracted to novelty and freedom. And, believe it or not, ISTP is just as rebellious as ENTP, they're merely quieter about it, preferring to keep it to themselves unless pushed otherwise. The best concise example of this shared rejection of societal values that I can think of is Sam saying "covering the world in cable didn't bring an end to war and suffering, don't be surprised if it all comes apart when you try to do it again" vs. Ludens (essentially Higgs' perspective of the game in song form) saying, "a world covered in cables was never wired to last, so don't act so surprised when the program starts to crash." Looking closely, Sam and Higgs actually have strikingly similar worldviews, and Sam spends much of the novel wondering if Higgs has a good point beneath his madness, admitting only to himself that he understands the position Higgs is coming from. In spite of himself, a big part of Sam agrees with Higgs and empathizes with him. ISTPs are often dismissed as morally bankrupt, when in fact they always have their own moral code formed by their dominant logic and deeply-buried sensitivities. They're liable to snap if they're backed into a corner and have their personal liberty or privacy infringed upon. Autonomy is king to this type, so it's unsurprising that many ISTPs end up anarchists and libertarians.
Function Stack Breakdown
Ti (introverted thinking): Don't mind me, gonna copy a little bit of this from Higgs' post... shhhhh... Personalities ruled by Ti act based on logic over emotion, processing the world through what makes sense and where their curiosity takes them. They love puzzles, problems in need of solutions, and detail-oriented issues. However, in the ISTP, a major roadblock to the satisfaction of a good day's work is the involvement of other people. They prefer to work alone, or in small groups/with a close partner, as they're quickly exhausted by interpersonal politics. You point an ISTP to a practical job, they'll grumble about it and then gladly do it, by themselves, thank you. This is self-evident in Sam; as a solo porter, he's a rarity of self-reliance, which in the Death Stranding universe would be suicidal if he wasn't a repatriate, and it's still risky af. After all, the primary reason most porters have partners is to maintain their sanity, keep an eye out for chiral contamination and MULE syndrome, etc. It's stated multiple times that portering alone is ill-advised and only possible for those with a very strong force of will, which Sam of course has in spades. Sam's primary function of Ti manifests as independence of thought, as mentioned above. In describing Higgs as a truth-seeker, Sam acknowledged a value the two of them share, as Sam has a sharp eye for lies and a significant urge to uncover deeper truths about the world, other people, and himself. He's highly critical, filtering his observations through a cool and collected lens of rationality, not bending to the speculations and blind optimism shown by his colleagues, investigating matters on his own with careful footing, waiting for evidence before drawing conclusions. I.e., he thought it incredibly naive of Bridges to place such high hopes in the hematic weapons they created using his blood, based on the fact that they seemingly counted on them working as intended without testing them first. Unlike ENTP Higgs, Sam's Ti doesn't take second place to any idealism or restless imagination. Instead, his logic leads him, giving him the stick-to-itiveness to finish what he starts; he isn't intimidated by the minute details of a task, he just does what he has to do and gets the job done. Because Ti is constantly questioning everything at all times, genuine, earned trust is invaluable to ISTPs. Having a person they can be completely themselves with, entirely open with, someone who gets it, is a breath of fresh air to the ISTP, and is a precious rarity to them. Once you lose that trust, you'll likely never get it back. See: Sam and Bridget Strand.
Se (extroverted sensing): You can think of the latter three functions in a cognitive stack as "serving" the dominant function, which is especially true in the case of Ti-Se. Se's role as a function is observing and being present in one's external world, taking note of outward details and external sensory information, which is then fed through Ti to analyze and draw conclusions from. Secondary Se produces keen senses and a high degree of awareness. Thanks to the Se function, ISTPs remain in tune with their environments, notice details others might miss, and react quickly to threats and other stimulus. Unlike personalities that lead with intuition, ISTPs process the world in concrete terms, with few applied metaphors, projected meaning, or comforting illusions, taking the world as it is, not how it could or should be. This gets interesting when the tertiary function is properly developed.
Ni (introverted intuition): Ah, Ni, my oldest and closest friend, being an INTJ myself and thus Ni-dominant. I'm well-equipped to explain this one. Ni is more or less the opposite of Se (just as Ti and Fe are opposing forces in many ways), painting a layer of personal meaning and subjectivity over everything encountered in the world, highly concerned with personal insights and metaphorical/artistic value. Ni is extremely sentimental, clinging to the past with a fierce nostalgia, trusting one's own viewpoint and experience. Interestingly, even when it works unconsciously, Ni influences the ISTP personality further towards independent thought and the instills the innate desire to color outside the established lines in life. Ni seeks personal truth above all else. As mentioned in the Higgs post, the tertiary function is a point of conflict for all personality types, and it doesn't usually develop until middle age unless significant trauma work or self-awareness development occurs earlier in life. (Yeah, I copied that from the prev post, sorry not sorry). And... just like Higgs, Sam has both. Thus, his tertiary Ni is reasonably well-developed, though he does't share much of it with others... at all. He exhibits a well-tuned sense of what certain symbols and ideas mean to him, e.g. from novel: finding a worn-down bone on the Beach, getting incredibly sentimental about how nothing and no one gets the privilege of decaying anymore, feelings sad that life instead is erased from the world in such a brutal manner as necrosis/cremation/voidouts/etc. ("They weren’t returned to this world.") He gives into the urge to lick it on impulse (Sam do also be licking things!!), I presume in an effort to feel connected to the past, as well as curiosity. (Ugh, I love him.) Ne and Ni are extremely detached by nature, despite being defined by their creation of a desire to feel like part of the world, a craving for a sense of rightness and belonging. In the ISTP, Ni shapes the closely-guarded inner world. Hopes, dreams, self-esteem, the deepest of emotions: things ISTPs are extremely private about and protective of, only ever sharing with a select and trusted few, if at all. Ni operates in a going-between manner, using past experiences and insights to predict future outcomes and look forward with a sense of uniquely personal wisdom, which Sam employs quite often with his views on death, connection, humanity, so forth. There's a hushed sort of reverence and respect to his private inner world, buried beneath a layer of messianic guilt, shown in his attachment to history and relics of the pre-Stranding world. There's something so sadly ironic about a man who is the so-called "bridge to the future" holding deep sentiment for the past. Moving on... *sniff.* something in my eye... One more key function of Ni in the ISTP: deduction. Above all, Ni seeks patterns. It draws lines between things like facts, events, and symbols, interpreting their meaning. In a well-developed ISTP, the Ti-Ni axis works from a healthy basis of belief founded on logic, attaching significance to details to form a bigger picture. Example: Sam telling Bridges to study the blood on his broken boots, based on the fact that the BTs reacted to it "more than once." Ni plays a support character to a scientific approach here. Pattern -> deduction -> idea. The Se-Ni axis plays a similar role, as Ni contrasts established insights and sentiments with sensory information, connecting dots between things that might otherwise seem unrelated. Observe, then scrutinize; Ni helps Se to see the forest beyond the trees.
Fe (extroverted feeling): You can think of Fe in terms of group morality, the "us" contained in a person's principles. Because of Fe's role as a Ti-dom's inferior function, ISTPs can come across rather Fi-adjacent, being the rugged individualists they are. True, both IxTPs and personalities with strong Fi move against the grain in society and with their own principles, but in the ISTP, nitpicky, critical, skeptical, distrusting, reliable Ti dictates the approach. Thus, Fe is an awkward bedfellow, its nature highly empathetic, people-pleasing, and to an ISTP, inconveniently warm and fuzzy about things like community and partnership. As the inferior function, and therefore the point of insecurity, discomfort, and stress, ISTP's Fe makes them rather connection-averse; they're capable of great empathy, fellow feeling, and can get caught up in the idea of group harmony (more on that when discussing Sam being enneagram 9), but it's likely to leave said individual feeling drained and moody. Push an ISTP too far, too quickly in this area, and they're liable to leave and never come back... Oh look, that's exactly what Sam did the second time he left Bridges at the end of DS. Still, like any personality type, ISTPs grow and become happier people when they confront their inferior function and learn to occupy it in a healthy way, rather than solely relying on it as a rescue function in times of stress. Sam benefits from forming connections and nurturing this side of himself. Being the bridge, the rope, the strand. Doing so, and forming a strong connection with Lou, enables him to cope with his aphenphosmphobia again. (I say "cope," not "cure," it came back once, it can come back again, speaking as an agoraphobe whose issues come and go with variable severity. Lots of factors at play with phobias.) As an ISTP, Sam needs a balance between personal space/freedom and connection/community to be his best self. This is doubly true in light of him being enneagram 9.
Final thoughts before moving on
ISTP and ENTP share a lot of similarities in their emotional needs, as well as their general attitude about life, but they differ in taking a passive vs. active role in society, so it's no wonder Sam and Higgs have a natural sort of sun/moon dynamic... But let's focus on just Sam. Firstly, he's a classic example of the "grumpy but soft" trope, which is undeniably lovable. ISTPs don't form a large array of deep personal attachments, so the ones they do have are extremely valuable and lifelong if trust is maintained. This is a personality that would jump in front of a moving train without hesitation to protect a loved one. Lucky for Sam (and us), he'll survive! Heh. Seriously, though, ISTPs are loyal and devoted as fuck once they're committed. If you've played Red Dead Redemption 2, take a long look at Arthur Morgan (also enneagram 9!) and you'll see what I mean. While they aren't the best communicators, still waters run deep, and ISTPs are a wellspring of insights, an individualistic set of principles, and strong emotions with love and fierce passion to give. They’re unfortunately prone to getting bogged down in others’ expectations, doing what’s expected of them when they’re unhealthy enough to cave under pressure and slip into people-pleasing habits, doing as they’re told/asked, which fundamentally goes against their rebellious nature. Sam throwing himself headlong into the role Bridges expected of him (twice!) despite not believing in their ideals or methods is a key example. In such circumstances, ISTPs retreat into themselves and trudge along miserably, spite growing all the while. Hence Sam being crabby but subdued for most of the game, only to lash out fiercely at Higgs when provoked and then verbally unload all of his personal resentments—none of it having to do with Higgs!—while hitting him in the final fight.
ISTPs often have a thrill-seeking side (see: Sam laughing and cheering on the ziplines) because they love to cut loose, forget their problems, and have fun. Room to play, both intellectually and physically, is a core need. In these moments, ISTPs radiate joy and crave adventure. They love to joke around and laugh, for once, when they finally have an opportunity to do so. They’re not above playing devil’s advocate and indulging in a good debate if they have the spare energy for it. As an ISTP, Sam is headstrong, creative, and far more vulnerable than he lets on.

Honestly the constant discourse about Kyman, as someone who ships it, is kinda making me want to distance myself from what used to be my OTP. People speaking ill of Kyman shippers is working on me and starting to make me worry that I'm doing something wrong by shipping it. I shouldn't care about what ppl on the internet think and I usually don't but constantly being told that I'm "supporting" something thats "abusive" or problematic is getting to me. Like dammit, I didn't even know about the discourse when I got into Kyman; I got into it by watching the show itself and it was my first SP ship but honestly if I knew that people gave a shit about it in the SP fandom I probably wouldn't have bothered. It'll always have a place in my heart but I'm getting tired of this shit 😔 Im extra emotional rn so Im not being rational here and you dont have to publish this. I know fandom shouldn't have that affect on me I'll get over it after Style vs. Kyman fight 2192943290 blows over. Idk if you're comfortable with vents sorry if I crossed a boundary here.
Oh, anon. It never used to be like this.
Fandom discourse these days is insane. Unhinged, even. The idea that anyone is more morally correct than someone else for what they ship and enjoy in fiction is absolutely ludicrous. Especially within the context of shipping fucking South Park characters.
The hard truth is that every fandom is like this now. You don't have shipping wars just arguing over what makes more sense 'in canon', but moving on to an ever-changing line of what is and isn't 'morally acceptable.' As if that's ever something the majority of people would ever agree on. (Hint: it's not!)
But there is a certain irony to see people arguing this for South Park of all things, as if we aren't all equally degenerate for enjoying such a 'problematic' show in the first place. Like... seriously. Be so serious, people. It's South Park. Everything is exaggerated for comedic effect-- including character's personalities, their actions and their relationships to one another. It's never going to be a character driven show no matter how much this fandom sometimes wishes it was. We're going to have characters who don't give a fuck about each other, literally wishing death or plotting to kill each other in one episode and then they're just going to be chilling playing video games in the next episode like nothing happened. It's episodic. That's part of the appeal. It's why it's such a sandbox.
Even if you didn't ship Kyman, their dynamic is impossible to ignore, try as some might. They say they hate each other, yet they keep hanging out. Both parties are there of their own volition. They both enjoy each other's company, and no amount of write-up's anyone can post on tumblr dot com is going to change that canon fact. They're friends.
Also-- they are just plain fun to watch, fucking hilarious and a huge appeal of the show! If someone else who watches the show doesn't like them, that's their problem. Them not liking an aspect of the show isn't going to make that part of the show any less valid and/or canon. And guess what? You're supposed to like their dynamic. It's supposed to be entertaining and captivating. How you interpret it is up to you, but there is 100% nothing wrong with watching an episode of South Park and enjoying Eric and Kyle's dynamic-- that is what you're supposed to do. So don't feel bad about it. The show is made for people to enjoy, after all. Also, it's important to keep in mind that just because you can find a dynamic appealing doesn't mean you endorse everything about it. That's such a wild and new-age fandom take. Fiction is an escape-- a safe space to explore unrealistic relationships and unrealistic characters. You're allowed to like fucked up things in fiction. You're allowed to like stuff in fiction you'd find repulsive or abhorrent in real life.
I think I can speak for a good chunk of the fandom when I say, I'd fucking hate Eric Cartman in real life. Hell, I'd probably hate Kyle, too. I have a lot of favourite characters from different fandoms I'd probably hate in real life. They're fun because they're fictional and it's different from real life. If I wanted to read about stuff that happens in real life, I wouldn't be here.
In the end, anon, fandom is supposed to be fun. To me it's just fun to take these silly little egg construction paper kids, draw 'em as anime characters, and give 'em some angst. It's fun! There's so much to do with them! They're soooo dynamic!
But if you're not having fun-- if you're stressing-- there's nothing wrong with taking a step back for your own mental well-being. I'm not about to tell you your feelings are invalid, because I know how any internet discourse, no matter how trivial or silly it may seem, can still stress you out. If you're constantly being told you're morally corrupt or problematic, it can take a toll on you-- even if you know you're not. The truth is you're never going to agree with everyone on the internet, and people will weaponize something as trivial as a South Park ship to make them feel better about their ship while also making you feel worse about your ship.
Anyways, when it comes to stepping back, I think there's a few ways you could go about this;
You could disengage with the social part of the fandom-- focus on the show itself, maybe just hunker down with some fanfics.
If you'd like to remain active on social medias, I think it wouldn't hurt to start blocking liberally. Anyone who has anything along the lines of 'Kymans DNI' in their profile, just block right away. You don't want to see their opinion, anyways. You're never going to convince them otherwise.
If you have a few close friends, I recommend sticking close in a small private discord server where you can discuss your headcanons and gossip in private. It's much more liberating than trying to get involved in any of the insane discourse that plagues both here and Twitter.
Anyways, anon, do what's right for you. Kyman shippers will always be here to welcome you back! They can say what they want-- we have too much canon fodder for us to ever go away!!

I dont even know what asterix (sp?) is but since you seem cool I stay followed ♡
(confess something you've thought about me on anon!)
Asterix or The Adventures of Asterix (French: Astérix or Astérix le Gaulois [asteʁiks lə ɡolwa], "Asterix the Gaul") is a bande dessinée comic book series about a village of indomitable Gaulish warriors who adventure around the world and fight the Roman Republic, with the aid of a magic potion, during the era of Julius Caesar, in an ahistorical telling of the time after the Gallic Wars. The series first appeared in the Franco-Belgian comic magazine Pilote on 29 October 1959. It was written by René Goscinny and illustrated by Albert Uderzo until Goscinny's death in 1977. Uderzo then took over the writing until 2009, when he sold the rights to publishing company Hachette; he died in 2020. In 2013, a new team consisting of Jean-Yves Ferri (script) and Didier Conrad (artwork) took over. As of 2021, 39 volumes have been released, with the most recent released in October 2021.
Description[edit]
Some of the many characters in Asterix. In the front row are the regular characters, with Asterix himself in the centre.
Asterix comics usually start with the following introduction:
The year is 50 BC. Gaul is entirely occupied by the Romans. Well, not entirely... One small village of indomitable Gauls still holds out against the invaders. And life is not easy for the Roman legionaries who garrison the fortified camps of Totorum, Aquarium, Laudanum and Compendium...[1][2]
The series follows the adventures of a village of Gauls as they resist Roman occupation in 50 BC. They do so using a magic potion, brewed by their druid Getafix (Panoramix in the French version), which temporarily gives the recipient superhuman strength. The protagonists, the title character Asterix and his friend Obelix, have various adventures. The "-ix" ending of both names (as well as all the other pseudo-Gaulish "-ix" names in the series) alludes to the "-rix" suffix (meaning "king", like "-rex" in Latin) present in the names of many real Gaulish chieftains such as Vercingetorix, Orgetorix, and Dumnorix.
In some of the stories, they travel to foreign countries, while other tales are set in and around their village. For much of the history of the series (volumes 4 through 29), settings in Gaul and abroad alternated, with even-numbered volumes set abroad and odd-numbered volumes set in Gaul, mostly in the village.
The Asterix series is one of the most popular Franco-Belgian comics in the world, with the series being translated into 111 languages and dialects as of 2009.[3]
The success of the series has led to the adaptation of its books into 15 films: ten animated, and five live action (two of which, Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra and Asterix and Obelix vs. Caesar, were major box office successes in France). There have also been a number of games based on the characters, and a theme park near Paris, Parc Astérix. The very first French satellite, Astérix, launched in 1965, was named after the character, whose name is close to Greek ἀστήρ and Latin astrum, meaning a "star". As of 20 April 2022, 385 million copies of Asterix books had been sold worldwide and translated in 111 languages making it the world's most widely translated comic book series,[4] with co-creators René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo being France's best-selling authors abroad.[5][6]
In April 2022, Albert and René’s general director Céleste Surugue hosted a 45-minute talk titled "The Next Incarnation of a Heritage Franchise: Asterix" and spoke about the success of the Asterix franchise of which he noted "The idea was to find a subject with a strong connection with French culture and while looking at the country's history, they ended up choosing its first defeat, namely the Gaul's Roman colonisation". He also went on to say how since 1989, Parc Asterix attracts an average of 2.3 million visitors per year. Other notable mentions were how the franchise includes 10 animated movies, which recorded over 53 million viewers worldwide. The inception of Studios Idefix in 1974 and the opening of Studio 58 in 2016 were among the necessary steps to make Asterix a "100% Gaulish production," considered the best solution to keep the creative process under control from start to finish and to employ French manpower. He also noted how a new album is now published every two years, with print figures of 5 million and an estimate readership of 20 million.[7]
History[edit]
Évariste Vital Luminais' (1821–1896) paintings of Goths had been rather popular in France and are a possible model for the Asterix series.[8]
Prior to creating the Asterix series, Goscinny and Uderzo had had success with their series Oumpah-pah, which was published in Tintin magazine.[9] Astérix was originally serialised in Pilote magazine, debuting in the first issue on 29 October 1959.[10] In 1961 the first book was put together, titled Asterix the Gaul. From then on, books were released generally on a yearly basis. Their success was exponential; the first book sold 6,000 copies in its year of publication; a year later, the second sold 20,000. In 1963, the third sold 40,000; the fourth, released in 1964, sold 150,000. A year later, the fifth sold 300,000; 1966's Asterix and the Big Fight sold 400,000 upon initial publication. The ninth Asterix volume, when first released in 1967, sold 1.2 million copies in two days.
Uderzo's first preliminary sketches portrayed Asterix as a huge and strong traditional Gaulish warrior. But Goscinny had a different picture in his mind, visualizing Asterix as a shrewd, compact warrior who would possess intelligence and wit more than raw strength. However, Uderzo felt that the downsized hero needed a strong but dim companion, to which Goscinny agreed. Hence, Obelix was born.[11] Despite the growing popularity of Asterix with the readers, the financial backing for the publication Pilote ceased. Pilote was taken over by Georges Dargaud.[11]
When Goscinny died in 1977, Uderzo continued the series by popular demand of the readers, who implored him to continue. He continued to issue new volumes of the series, but on a less frequent basis. Many critics and fans of the series prefer the earlier collaborations with Goscinny.[12] Uderzo created his own publishing company, Éditions Albert René, which published every album drawn and written by Uderzo alone since then.[11] However, Dargaud, the initial publisher of the series, kept the publishing rights on the 24 first albums made by both Uderzo and Goscinny. In 1990, the Uderzo and Goscinny families decided to sue Dargaud to take over the rights. In 1998, after a long trial, Dargaud lost the rights to publish and sell the albums. Uderzo decided to sell these rights to Hachette instead of Albert-René, but the publishing rights on new albums were still owned by Albert Uderzo (40%), Sylvie Uderzo (20%) and Anne Goscinny (40%).[citation needed]
In December 2008, Uderzo sold his stake to Hachette, which took over the company.[13] In a letter published in the French newspaper Le Monde in 2009, Uderzo's daughter, Sylvie, attacked her father's decision to sell the family publishing firm and the rights to produce new Astérix adventures after his death. She said:
However, René Goscinny's daughter, Anne, also gave her agreement to the continuation of the series and sold her rights at the same time. She is reported to have said that "Asterix has already had two lives: one during my father's lifetime and one after it. Why not a third?".[16] A few months later, Uderzo appointed three illustrators, who had been his assistants for many years, to continue the series.[12] In 2011, Uderzo announced that a new Asterix album was due out in 2013, with Jean-Yves Ferri writing the story and Frédéric Mébarki drawing it.[17] A year later, in 2012, the publisher Albert-René announced that Frédéric Mébarki had withdrawn from drawing the new album, due to the pressure he felt in following in the steps of Uderzo. Comic artist Didier Conrad was officially announced to take over drawing duties from Mébarki, with the due date of the new album in 2013 unchanged.[18][19]
In January 2015, after the murders of seven cartoonists at the satirical Paris weekly Charlie Hebdo, Astérix creator Albert Uderzo came out of retirement to draw two Astérix pictures honouring the memories of the victims.[20]

🌯🗡️ back just to quickly say with the “I think you might need to be wary of the "accidentally" in that sentence.”
Phil: (maybe) deliberately delays the trip so that when techno comes to the manor, his parents might be mad at him and present an opportunity for him to drive a wedge between them so he can get more trust / use it as a “well they were dicks so really I’m saving you” excuse before adopting tech
Phil: “This will work out perfectly and techno probably won’t even realise what I’ve done until too late!”
Techno: gets scratched on the cheek pretty badly, gets his hair shaved off and then gets locked in his room ignored and alone just to top it all off.
Phil: 👁️👁️
Phil: “I may have miscalculated just a tiny bit. Slightly bigger wedge than I was expecting but I’m used to improvising at this point”
The real magic behind this royal family is the way they’re constantly able to fuck up literally ANY plan Phil has with them. Purely just a “oh you think you’re bad?? Watch this!” And then they just accidentally neglect their son.
The royal family: “We have 2 perfect children. It’s not really our fault when we compare the normal one to them and punish him harshly because if it!”
Phil: “You’ve fucked up a perfectly good sonboy is what you did! Look at him. Now he has self worth issues ON TOP of anxiety!”
That and just:
Phil, finally coming face to face to renegotiate the deal: “You’re not leaving until I get my son.”
The royals: “Don’t you mean daughter??”
Phil: “I know what I said”
Or:
The king and queen: “We want nothing more than to have our children happy and safe which is why we’re going to the queen of fae to negate this deal”
Techno: Would genuinely intimately be happier and safer if he was adopted by Phil and Kristin. He gets to experience everything they deprived him of ON TOP of becoming immortal and having 2 of the most powerful fae in existence willing to go to battle for him in a HEARTBEAT
The king and queen: “No not like that-“
As well as:
The king and queen: “Wow we’re such good parents!”
Phil: Provides a better parenting experience in a single evening than they did in their entire lives of having 3 children
Phil: Steals the one child they never truly appreciated and gives him the best life POSSIBLE to make up for all that he missed and went through
Phil: “And I’d do it again BITCH”
I genuinely just adore the thought of Phil having just CONSTANT beef with them, like it’s not even about the deal anymore he’s just mad at them over their parenting skills. Just doing ANYTHING he can to fuckin upstage them, bro has beef with them down to the BONE with how mad he is.
Phil: Deliberately has Kristin make winter colder just so the king and queen like have problems heating the castle and their kingdom struggles
The king and queen: “Damn it’s fuckin way too cold this year”
Phil: “And that’s what you deserve! I fuckin PRAY you freeze”
Techno: Shivers slightly
Phil: “Oh my baby, my poor sonboy. Do you want some enchanted blankets to keep you warm? What about some Totally Not Magical stew to make you extra toasty?? Maybe even a heating enchantment on that earring???”
Bro will forever be their BIGGEST hater. He wakes up every day and tries spread as many bad vibes onto them as possible. He literally worked out a way to magically make sure both sides of their pillows would be warm. That’s the level of hating he’s been on.
Or that meme with I receive vs you receive:
Phil: “Here’s the deal, I receive a perfect sonboy who I can dote on and adore with my wonderful wife for the rest of forever”
Phil: “You receive me not obliterating your entire bloodline and taking the kid anyway”
The king and queen: “I can’t help but feel this real might be a little bit uneven”
Techno: “Do I get a say in this like at all??”
Phil: “No ❤️”
That 1 sentence just spurred on so much brainrot for me I couldn’t help but share! My brain created like 50 different pathways just to brainrot and come up with more scenarios. I’m like going back and checking for spelling mistakes and I’m literally only just realising now how much I’ve written lmao
As always, have a nice day and I’m sorry if I’ve overwhelmed!
Phil. Maybe not the King of the Fae, but certainly the King of Improv. He is an opportunist. They opportuniest of opportunists. He is 'Yes, and?'ing this adoption.
Techno is just a little guy. A little guy with a big heart. He needs some attention. Some love. That shouldn't be too much to ask. And yet-
And Yet-
Enchanted blankets, you say?
But Yeah, Philza is not happy about the state of the sonboy. He should have been better taken care of. Don't worry. :) He's got this covered :)
Bro, sorry it took me so long to respond. But I adore every SYLLABLE of all of your brainrots. Literally. Never apologize. I am so glad you sent them. <3 <3 <3 <3

I was just wondering if you still had the same thoughts on my type from this new questionnaire:
I still see ISFJ, but you could be 9w1 instead of 6w5. Some of this seems very sp/so 9w1.
•I have been struggling for six years to figure out my mbti type. I end up just stuck in analysis paralysis and I need constant input and proof but I’m not finding it. <- 9s and 6s struggle the most to land on their type, in part because 9s have to fight through an inner 'haze' to determine they are 9s, not realizing that inner confusion and reluctance to commit or land IS 9-ness.
• I want to look perfect. <- 1 wing, possible 3 fix
I work out all the time. <- sp
I crave to experience the moment but I have no idea how. I’m trapped in my own head and analysis and imagination. <- introvert without Se, possible Ti, 9-ness disassociation
I feel sad Out in public because it feels like I’m missing out on life. I can’t get over this lonely existential feeling <- 9 to the hilt.
•I don’t express emotions well and I remain quiet. <- more 9?
I don’t know how to get close to people <- weak social skills
•I have a hard time making decisions. Whenever I’m with company I struggle because I don’t want to pick an option they don’t like. <- attachment core, very 9 because it seems like avoidance of conflict or letting people down vs 6 insecurities about feeling threatened, could also be Fe-ish
•despite the fact that I don’t know how to make decisions like I should, I’m amazing with deadlines, responsibility, and studying. I’m always prepared for school. I study non stop and I want to be perfect <- strong J type and super-ego/1, again probably a 3 fix
•I love to focus on my same daydreams but I feel like In the real world I do the same things over and over. I don’t do new things and I used to escape through things like drinking. <- sensor/ strong Si, also more 9-ness in terms of inertia / not taking initiative to get what you want or try new things
•I make decisions for my parents. <- Fe thinking (our lives connect, what I do affects them, I need to make decisions with them in mind)
I don’t date or party because I know they don’t approve and I want them to think of my future career and approve. <- Fe again
• I’m focused on my future and want some things without a doubt: like to be a dad is my number one goal <- Si goal, tbh. It's concrete, it's doable, it's expected/encouraged within society. Anyone can want to be a parent, but SJs feel the most benefit from it, because they see it in terms of that's how you leave a legacy, continue on the family tree, build a life, this is what's desired and normal and stable.
• mostly I’m just academic focused, imaginative, in my head, wanting to explore my environment but I don’t know how <- lack of Se, more 9 ness, playing the role of an observer, withdrawn type
• I see myself as always being alone and it’s why I throw myself into my career <- again, 9. You've given up (prematurely), because going for what you want would be disruptive to your inner peace / comfort zone. Don't do this. If you want to be a dad, get out of your comfort zone and pursue relationships.
•I am afraid of new environments and tend to do the same things <- Si
You don't have to sit on the sidelines. Decide what you want and go get it.

December 24, 2022 Christmas Eve Morning
I’m feeling a bit discouraged this morning, friends and family. I’ll open with that. Our challenges cannot compare to what so many struggle with around us—and all I have to do is look at the U.S. headlines to know that this was probably a good Christmas to skip in the Northeast. So forgive me, in advance, for asking you to indulge me.
We moved into our place yesterday- and we are still so grateful for this gift. But northern India is experiencing a “severe cold wave”- and while the temperature may sound balmy at 41 degrees- in a house made of stone and concrete (as almost all homes are) with no heating (also typical)- last night was damn cold. If you know me, you know I’m pretty tough about a lot of things (growing up going to Windy Island certainly trained me)- but you also know there is one thing I can’t stand—and that’s being COLD. We went to an electrical appliance store first thing yesterday and bought a quartz heater…but frankly, I can’t tell any discernable difference between our bedroom and the outside after running it for several hours. And the hot water does not seem to be working. The person who manages the house, Vasu, is very nice- and assured me he’d have a plumber attend to it today. But not being able to take a hot shower right now just adds to my shivering. It’s my understanding that this weather will last through January—and I’m wondering how that’s going to go.
David and I made a trip to the mall yesterday to purchase some things we both needed and wanted to make the place feel more like home. That was really fun--mostly because David went down to Reliance Smart (a lot like a smaller Walmart) to buy necessities (a bucket, clothes pins, etc.) while I went upstairs to Home Centre (India’s version of Bed Bath and Beyond) to buy the more “wants vs. needs.” That was a lot more enjoyable to do without David continuously murmuring how much he hates shopping. Salespeople in India are encouraged to be extremely attentive when one enters a shop—and that can be a little overwhelming, to be honest. But I was eventually approached by a young man named Ravi who was terrifically helpful, patient, good humored, and charming—and we had a great time together. Several of Ravi’s coworkers hovered nearby with obvious envy. I’m not sure if they work on commission ( it was clear I was there to spend some significant bucks) or if they were just damn bored (the ratio of salesperson to customer tends to be very, very high here.)
Once my purchases were wrapped up and ready to go (first I had to dash downstairs to give David some cash after he learned that Reliance’s credit card system was not working)- Ravi and another salesman walked TWO shopping carts of purchases down to the street,
Tumblr media
, where they hailed an autorickshaw, loaded everything into it (with barely room for humans)
Tumblr media
and Ravi ACCOMPANIED US TO OUR HOUSE. This was at his manager’s instruction (and Ravi’s good nature)- and after we unloaded everything to the driveway of our house- Ravi would not accept any tip. I wrote him a rave review when I received the now ubiquitous customer survey on my phone late last evening.
I know that part of my blues is the shock of moving from a very comfy hotel bubble to real life in Amritsar, and the rest is probably that it’s Christmas Eve (my favorite day of the year)- and I’m in bed with the knit cap on that David thankfully suggested I buy at Reliance Smart yesterday and which I wore all night (an homage to my dear old dad—who often did the same.)
Tumblr media
We had a simple and incredible meal last night served by the house’s staff member Nidhi (sp?)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and this morning David brewed us the Starbucks coffee given to me by my wonderful student Quinn Whittman as a gift (served in our new mugs from Home Centre.) If I can just get warm…all will be fine (WHY didn’t I bring my hot water bottle to India, Sarah HJ? Now I’m trying to track a couple down.)
We are off to the Foreign Registration Office to meet Dr. Devender Singh from Khalsa College. Hoping to get that red tape task taken care of today!
Missing our friends and family in the U.S. very much this morning. Hoping you all are staying safe and warm. Please be careful out there! And wishing you all a very merry, joyous, and warm holiday surrounded by loved ones.
Thus endeth my whining…with a photo of me with Scary Santa.

I've been thinking about this lately, and I'm curious to know what you think: By definition, systems like sorting hat chats put something relatively simple (their structure) on something incredibly complicated and ever-changing (life). How do you use it to your advantage without ignoring the many pitfalls?
One thing I love about SHC is that it is observable and applicable in real life. You can see people being Lion primary, Snake primary and how they interact with their numerous skillsets. You can see all of that in action. I think my way of applying it is to use it as a template where I interpret experience and people I meet. I don't think everything has to fit into SHC structure, because people are complex. But something can be explained using the system.
Like, why do my aunt, mum and stepfather all think I'm selfish? Because they are hardline loyalists (Badger with Lion model, Snake and Badger with Bird model respectively). They couldn't understand how I could sacrifice people for my goals/career/life path because they would NEVER do it. But I also couldn't imagine myself putting people first over what is right for me (goals, ambition, ideals). I'm Lion primary, hence why I have always been drawn toward goals and personal choice. It is empowering to me the way my loyalist family will never understand.
I can see that play out in real time independent of personal experience coloring it (no biases, no emotional expectation, no cultural influence, just how they function as a person). Hence I believe this theory has merits.
Or about the secondary. I'm snake sec, meaning I always prefer adaptability and fluidity over brute force. My aunt is Lion secondary, so she will always prefer directness and transparency over any trickery. That's the underlying formula of these secondaries. For Lion, it is transparency and solidity. For Snake, it is fluidity and adaptability. Even if my aunt is diplomatic, very good at hiding her thoughts, she is still Lion secondary. Meanwhile, I'm very direct and open but underneath all of that, I'm still a fluid Snake.
My coworker is a bird sec. He relies on his organization skills, built knowledge and systematic learning to get things done. He does really well in structured environment because that's how his mind operates. I thrive on unpredictability. I don't do well in structured learning courses or something like that. I thrive on real experience where I can adapt and face them hands-on. It's the heady energy of bird vs raw, hands-on approach of snake.
Then, I will use all these information to my advantage by adapting my language and methods to match the people in question. My boss is double Lion (and also ESTJ 8w7, so even more directness), so I won't beat around the bush with him and be honest always. My coworker is Badger sec (also ESFJ 6w7), so I wait for her to do her badger thing instead of rushing through it. Another coworker of mine is snake sec (ESTP 7w6), so I play with him using my snake. Etc, etc. Or when I have to charm a Snake primary, I show them how much my family means to me (lies) and how much I care about my people (truth) because that's what they value. If I have to interact with fellow lion, then I'll just respect their goal and encourage them on their path (because that's what we crave).
Another thing to note is I supplement SHC with other systems like MBTI and Enneagram. So all of them play a part in my application in real life. Like ... my boss is ESTJ 8w7 so/sp and Double Lion meaning he has a LOT of directness, strength and protective tendency. I know instantly he respects strength (8w7 + Double Lion), competency (Te-dom in general, as well as his personal values) and fair character (his Fi-inferior values + being so/sp). So I cater to all of that by not performing too much, just be frank with him in almost everything. Speak up for myself and everyone else, showing up for work. Always bettering myself and make sure to become a better person. That's how I get on his good side (and it benefits me too, since I become a better person).
So, I think that's how I apply it in real life. But what about you? Do you do the same thing as I do? Or is it something else entirely?
And for anyone seeing this, do share how you use SHC in real life! I'd love to read them all.

On your journey to success, you may find that manifesting does inevitably come with an art of discipline and persistence. However, this is not to say it’s tiring, draining, difficult, or effort based at all. The discipline comes naturally, and persistence is without resistance. As the creator of your reality, you are met with infinite probable selections. Infinite states you may occupy, therefore leading to infinite possible realities you could experience. Taking responsibility for this and making the decisions that align with the life you wish to live is being, not doing or trying
Mental diet
The process of mental dieting can be quite confusing at first because there is a constant nagging reminder that you are supposed to return to fulfillment as frequently as you can. However, this is not about setting a schedule or reminders throughout the day to try to slip into the state a certain number of times an hour. Even though returning to states should be easy and the goal is to truly embody that new identity as much as you can, it is common for people to get distracted from being, and focus too much on trying.
It’s understandable to experience some good days and some bad days. There will be days when it’s easier to feel optimistic about the Law in general, and days where all you want to do is give up and spiral. The key point here is that positive thinking and optimism isn’t the reason why you can maintain a more stable mental diet. Mental dieting is to help change your beliefs. Each moment you return to the state of the wish fulfilled is to identify with a different probable reality where you are experiencing your desire. It is a choice you are making to feel what it would be like to have your desire. It is not thinking about your desire with little conviction. There is a difference between “okay I have my SP back. did I feel it right?” vs “I accepted the feeling of being back together, therefore I am experiencing aligned thoughts and emotions due to my conviction in knowing this will reflect into my 3D.” Acceptance is always the first step in this equation. Trying to do anything, whether it be forcing the state of the wish fulfilled, forcing the 3D, or using effort based techniques such as robotic affirming are all less efficient than accepting what you want to be true for a moment.
“Stop trying to change the world since it is only the mirror. Man’s attempt to change the world by force is as fruitless as breaking a mirror in the hope of changing his face. Leave the mirror and change your face. Leave the world alone and change your conceptions of yourself. The reflection then will be satisfactory.” ― Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune
Additionally, there is no such thing as waiting to feel fulfillment. It’s understandable to have fear or doubt around feeling like you are unable to fulfill yourself whenever you want, but the truth is everyone needs to stop waiting. Make the decision now. Don’t tell yourself you’re gonna go all in tomorrow or next week or after the next motivational video. You occupy a state of awareness every single moment of the day. There is no excuse not to give yourself your desire now, because of the following quote:
“I will be” is a confession that “I am not “ The Father's will is always “I AM.” Until you realize that YOU are the Father (there is only one I AM and your infinite self is that I AM), you will is always “I will be.” ― Neville Goddard, The Power of Awareness
When you are feeling down on days where you’re not so confident about your manifestation skills, it’s at core a reminder that you are still viewing life as someone who is “trying” to obtain a desire that seems separate from you. We have been manifesting and creating our whole lives. Even your personality is based on the beliefs that created your environment starting from when you were born. We often let our mind run on autopilot and allow it to entertain negative possibilities that we expect to unfold even when nothing has been seen in the 3D yet. We place such faith in expecting the worst when it is unseen, but we rarely do the same for the positive best outcome, because society has taught us all about probability, things going wrong, luck, and every other reason which implies there is something or someone outside of ourselves that can control an individual’s reality. Expectation of the negative, whether it be you’ll never get that SP back, they are in love with someone else, you will lose that job, or overall the Law just doesn’t work will often lead to feelings and emotions of fear, lack, anxiety, etc.
“Sensation precedes manifestation and is the foundation upon which all manifestation rests. Be careful of your moods and feelings, for there is an unbroken connection between your feelings and your visible world. Your body is an emotional filter and bears the unmistakable marks of your prevalent emotions. Emotional disturbances, especially suppressed emotions, are the causes of all disease. To feel intensely about a wrong without voicing or expressing that feeling is the beginning of disease – disease – in both body and environment. Do not entertain the feeling of regret or failure for frustration or detachment from your objective results in disease.” ― Neville Goddard, Feeling is the Secret
When manifesting anything, the key to being is knowing how you and your desire are one. Everything already exists within you, and that combined with how creation is finished should be a powerful understanding that brings you to realize there is no such thing as “doing” this or that to make your 3d change. Your awareness of being is enough. By conditioning yourself into an identity / state you become one with it and manifest that state into reality. You, while far more than the state you are one with, have to become it by placing your awareness on it. Doing this is as simple as the decision to be something, you choose to become aware of being that state, and it manifests when it is natural. It should be noted that the time it takes to make something natural is dependent on the frequency, not the length of time, so do not expect months or years to yield results. In fact, such a long time with no success is a blatant mistake that you are either lacking discipline in your mental diet, or a failed approach due to more effort than being.
“The future must become the present in the imagination of the one who would wisely and consciously create circumstances. We must translate vision into Being, thinking of into thinking from. Imagination must center itself in some state and view the world from that state.” ― Neville Goddard, Awakened Imagination
“To move into another state or mansion necessitates a change of beliefs. All that you could ever desire is already present and only waits to be matched by your beliefs. But it must be matched, for that is the necessary condition by which alone it can be activated and objectified. Matching the beliefs of a state is the seeking that finds, the knocking to which it is opened, the asking that receives. Go in and possess the land.” ― Neville Goddard, Awakened Imagination
Everyone has their own choice for what method they prefer to use for manifesting. Some people like affirmations because it feels like a solid statement that helps them feel into the state. Others may choose visualizing since scenes may help them get their imagination running. Ultimately it does not matter what you do as long as you are focusing on the end result while patiently knowing that it will become your reality. We all gained interest in the Law because of what it promises us, but if you aren’t being the promise first, then results won’t come to you no matter how much “effort” you put in. As Yoda once said in Star Wars:
“Do or do not, there’s no try.”
SATS
Your sleeping hours are just as important as your waking hours of life. Your sleep plays a major role in your manifestation, so the last waking state you occupy is crucial. “You must be in the consciousness of being or having that which you want to be or to have before you drop off to sleep. Once asleep, man has no freedom of choice. His entire slumber is dominated by his last waking concept of self.”― Neville Goddard, Feeling is the Secret
A method of aligning your state with the wish fulfilled while you are drowsy is commonly known as SATS. Although SATS is often done right before falling asleep, there is nothing special about the time of day you do this. It is equally effective to do SATS as soon as you wake up or during the day. It is an extremely helpful way to manifest, but it differs from techniques such as affirmations, visualizations, scripting, etc because it’s a state. Affirmations themselves hold no meaning, and the scenes you visualize aren’t what manifests either. State Akin to Sleep refers to the deep state of consciousness during meditation or just before falling asleep. The reason why Neville recommended this method is because your last waking state is what dominates your entire sleep, and it sets the ground for your next day. You will often find that falling asleep in the state of the wish fulfilled vs in a state of lack can be very different for how easy your mental diet is the next day.
There are 2 different ways to go about SATS, but ultimately they both aim to achieve the same goal: making sure your last waking state is aligned with having your desires.
The traditional way is what many people know. Finding a comfy position, visualizing a short 10-15 second scene that implies your manifestation is fulfilled, looping that scene until you fall asleep.
The second way is simpler because some people feel like looping a scene puts too much emphasis on trying to “make it work” or “do it right” instead of focusing on the feeling and being part. There will always be people who don’t enjoy doing that, but because the goal is to fall asleep in the state of the wish fulfilled and not necessarily how perfect your scene is, so an alternate way is to enter that state right before you knock out, and it will be just as effective.
Your SATS scene does not have to be perfect at all. It doesn't matter if you visualize in first person or third person or how you go about this, because your only goal is to focus on the intention you set for your scene. Just like your daily mental diet, knowing and conviction is what brings about your desire. This is also why it's not absolutely necessary to loop the scene and even beat yourself over it not being a perfect cycle.

I am that bad bitch. I look hella good. It my time to manifest my dream life and marriage and career. Is up to persist and affirm and trust and believe. I always knew I was a bad bitch. I just needed to be accountable of my time and quit wasting it and making time count. So many ways to be rich and famous and about my money and success and happiness. Hood like my mother in the afterlife.
I know my worth and add tax. I had enough of these losers who wannabe male sex workers. Who do it to get free pussy. I’m gone be a solo performer and manifest my sp David back and make 6 figures on onlyfans. I want to fuck my sp David to slow jams all fucking night high off sleeping pills. Or alcohol. I wanna be drunk in love like Beyoncé and Jay Z. I’m so rich and famous and always speaking my hoe shit and putting me first and men last.
It’s my time to shine and heal and progress and thrive and go hard. It’s me vs me all day everyday period. It’s my time to shine and be adored and supported and worshipped by mostly white subs. I’m gone manifest hella subs. Affirming and persisting constantly. She not no diva.
Everything I want I always manifest all day everyday. I know my worth and no one can question my worth my existence. It’s my time to shine. I have come so far from days going to psych ward. I am finally mentally and spiritually stable. I wouldn’t take anything back because those hard days made me appreciate good mental health.
I’m blessed to have a spiritual ability and it’s growing and becoming more accurate and clear. Spirit and my black ancestors my everything and I love and appreciate them. They can stay in my body. They make me better and they hold me accountable to do the work and let them do the rest. I’m feeling myself and speaking my hoe shit. None of you niggas deserve us black women.
I refuse to accept the bare minimum and keep my standards high and stay high maintenance. Circumstances and 3D does not matter you should ignore the fuck out of them. All I know is i deserve to have my dream life. Black women should put themselves first and level up and grow up. Everything i touch turns into gold. Tired of these self entitled broke men who have the audacity.
It’s my time to shine. Be about my money. And reject men who are broke. Keep healing and growing and affirming and instantly manifesting everything and anyone. I got niggas in different area codes. And they all drop bands on me period. All I do is win and prove my haters wrong. I’m all these niggas fantasies and everything.
All I do win and put myself first and men last. I have everything I ever wanted and constantly getting blessed by spirit and my black ancestors with so many blessings. Spirit and black ancestors make me better. All you have to do is persist and know and trust and be and do everything you want.
Repetition helps me manifest faster in time crunch. It’s not hard to manifest in a time crunch because time doesn’t exist and is man made. I have everything that makes me feel rich and famous. Hard work pays off at end of day.
I have everything I actually want. And it’s me vs. me. I’m the baddest bad bitch. I always go hard. No one can do the work but you. I’m a role model for black women. Black women deserve so much more. Nothing off limits I can manifest anything or anyone and can do it quickly and with eyes closed.
I’m a rich bitch. Broke men don’t deserve pussy. I’m making my haters sick. Rude boy show me what you got. I’m rich rich. Im a hood bitch who making it out the hood. My enemies not stopping me. All I do is win and turn everything into gold. Money makes me wet. Real niggas spend on women. I’m so high. You broke bitches not me and will never be on my level. I’m winning and glowing and leveling up. I put in real work. I’m productive and on top of things.

CS Clear, a bit less fun in that it's all on-type, but the focus was trying to get the common Strikers to work.  With...mixed results.
Vs. Lance This came about because I desperately wanted to do Dual Sylveon.  Penny is only 2/5.  I'm taking dailies in hopes she cooperates once and spares me the candy.  I had to pity for that second copy, I am owed.  On-type, this team does great.  P!Dawn is a great solution, being able to debuff attack which stops Dragonite from being a clean KO nuke.  Valerie herself does okay.  It's not great, but it's serviceable.
Vs. Bruno Now this one's goofy.  Clay has very awkward conditions to make work, but technically, Aaron is a solution, providing offensive needs and Sp Def with Defend Order.  SS Leaf is to get spread Toxic up easily, and then also to debuff, like, everything for both survival and maximum damage output on Clay.  28k is actually really good for someone like him, you know.
Vs. Agatha Now, this one's easy money.  Agatha can sleep, which means denying a lot of actions.  Shauntal's EX isn't exactly great, but in a comp like this, she's got nothing better to do, and it's at least strong enough to take out half HP on the sides for a fairly simple denial chain.  Once it's just center, the sleep chaining is easy.  Shauntal's DPS is so stupid that there's no real threat of death at any point.  Unless you drop the sleep.  Don't drop the sleep.
Vs. Lorelei Easily the hardest match.  I don't know what the deal is.  I kinda do, but I also don't.  Marshal has pathetic special defense, so he gets obliterated by sync, and does not have anywhere near the move damage to make things work.  Lorelei herself is just a cheat, boosting evasion each time she's hit.  Maylene is an arguable solution, but she can't take hits so I think she's useless.  If I had remembered the whole evasion boosting thing, I would've saved Aaron.  But I didn't, so...we lost a few times due to stupid evasion and Crit Shield.  Because that's life I guess.
Vs. Blue Silver nuke.  Not the most creative solution, I kinda regret not using Lodge Calem, but after Lorelei I was mad and just wanted to be done.

On my road trip last summer I was glad to be able to visit some friends and family I don't usually get to see being on opposite ends of the country. So each place I tried to snap at least a few pics in their area. This is Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. A pleasant little town with a split history of 2 towns that grew together last century. This spot is part of a park where a natural water spring comes up (just behind the camera) that grew fame in yester-year of having healing properties. This was one of those times that I struggled to get some interesting pics mainly because I was rushed to get to my next stop (as usual). In the rush, I tried getting some pics of the spring itself but they really didn't turn out very good. Some times it's hard to see the focus on the little camera screen especially when I'm in a hurry. So many times I get back to the computer and then it's very obvious on the 27inch monitors. I keep trying to pay attention to such things, but alas I'm still working on it. Besides, my real reason for coming to this town was to see some life long friends and I was rushed to go see more long time friends and the time with them all was priceless. . Jul 22 . I show all my pics here, or you can follow JUST my travel pics at @DSKwanders. . I have a couple of questions about the enneagram, if you don't mind.
1) Self-pres 9s gets stuck in secondary tasks of self pres (eating, sleeping, daydream, reading, collecting, gaming, being in the internet, watching tv or movies, and other hobbies). Are they satisfied with that little? Do they truly enjoy their little hobbie/routine and don't aspire to much more? Or are they frustrated but don't have the force to go to their true wishes?
Hmm. I would assume they are satisfied by those things, or don't know how to take up enough 'space' to get other things; but 9s are a bit like elephants. Slow to get moving, but unstoppable once they start -- so if they do eventually decide to do something, they are quite stubborn about getting it for themselves. It just takes them a awhile to get around to deciding that's what they want, since sometimes they aren't AWARE of what they want -- part of 9-ness is frequent unawareness of what oneself truly desires.
2) The gap (4 and 5) have the reputation to enjoy the morbid and grotesque of life. Is that intensify or truly real for 4w5s and 5w4s? I couple of days ago you posted about Miranda from the Devil wears Prada as a 4w3. A w3 doesn't seem that incline to enjoy that kind of topics. Also, what would be a couple of good examples of that morbid predisposition? I am thinking H. R. Giger art, for instance.
4 focuses on the negative and so does 5; 5 has a grotesque sense of the world and a dark imagination, so yes, combined, they lend themselves to a rather morbid personality (Edgar Allen Poe, Stephen King, etc). 3 being a positive, proactive, energetic wing brings a completely different, more extroverted and positive flavor to 4 -- there is still the brokenness and separation and elitism (even more pronounced because of the 3 wing's "I deserve/want the best") but they are more driven and less withdrawn. They are "pickier and bitchier" whereas 4w5 is "darker and less social." Tim Burton's films are a good example of the 4/5 space / aesthetic.
3) What's the difference between the sx-dom (It is life or death to feel the electricity, to attract, to feel desirable to my current object of attention) and the sexual attraction as a commodity for the sp/sx (It is essential to have my needs meet, sexual attraction is fun and easy, but when I don't get it, it feels threatening to my sp-needs like I am being denied some commodity). It is taking me a while to discern between the two, one is the main focus, while the other bleeds into the sp dominant instinct.
Sx-dom: I will die if I can't hook people/be sexually appealing, vs "hooking people and using attraction displays comes easily to me; if they don't want me, no biggie" (vs the soul-crushing defeat of an sx-dom being rejected by the person they want to hook). I assume. Being sx-blind, all of sx seems weird to me. ;)
4) Can you explain how the type 1 deals with being a superego type? The three compliant types are somehow thinking repressed because their action are somehow dictated by shoulds. I can see how 2 (oriented completely to others) and 6 (not separating too much from human race for security sake) may be at mercy of this thinking, but type 1 is quite independent, in my opinion, and it is answering only to themselves matching what they feel it is the ultimate way of existing. How is this fitting the tyranny of I should do this even when I don't want to? Maybe I am misunderstanding.
First, the thinking repression of the 1 is perfectionism. It does not exist, so wasting time thinking about how it could be better or more perfect or having standards that are too high is "unproductive thinking." Secondly, the 1 is most prone to the tyranny of should. "I should not eat this, I should be restricting my calories." "I should not waste my time doing X, and when all these things need done." "I should get my work done before I play." "I should smile and be polite to this person, even if they are a total asshole." Followed by anger and resentment that they feel duty-driven to do all these things, and not "slack around" while other people seem to be "having fun." This is the person who stays inside washing windows because it needs done, who gets angrier and angrier watching their family frolic on the lawn, because it doesn't occur to them that they could just... not do what needs to be done (right) and go enjoy themselves and leave stuff undone. 1s believe in stern self-discipline, for the most part, so they are hard on themselves and often 'rigid' with themselves.
5) 4s and 5s, are usually depicted as the unintentional weird or freaks of the enneagram. Is this happening at all levels? Or just in their ideas, interests, personalities...? Is it manifest external necessarily (clothes, hair, makeup)? A couple of days ago I read someone stating that 7, 6 and 9s are the types more prone to dress up weird on purpose (Lady Gaga, Bjork, Jaden Smith) would you agree?
They FEEL like the freaks, it doesn't mean they are the freaks. They feel like they were born wrong, born weird, don't understand people and/or are not understood, are different from others, etc. If I am going to be rejected anyway for being weird/an alien born in the wrong body/time/place/planet, then I may as well self-differentiate a lot and give people something to reject that isn't me, it's my persona (4) or my overall lack of caring about what others think (5). Some 5s are more "normal" than others (Sherlock Holmes is eccentric, but still likable). But yes, the 7 is the most inclined to want to provoke people for fun. The 4 is dressing up as an "Extension of my inner self/feelings." The 7 is just being an attention-grabber.
6) is it true that sexual 9 is consider to be the 'supermodel subtype' (hiding behind their sexual attraction)?
I.... have never heard this theory before? Might be true?
