i have to be honest, the lovelies @14carrotghoul and @suseagull04 tagged me for this like a week ago and i have incredibly bad memory, but here i am anyway (thanks for the tag and sorry for being late lol 💀)

oh my god,,,,,, i think it was 2015(??

before i say this, i need to explain i was a child with a very early access to internet. also, i am, as a great mind said once, a pathological people pleaser, and my sister was a directioner,,,,,,,,, so yes ofc i wrote a fanfic about harry styles for my sister, even though i never published it, and it was just a dumb y/n story,,,,,,,, (this was like 2012). though, since harry styles is a real person and not a character like my 9yo self thought, then i assume the next one would be,,,,, damon salvatore (it was posted on wattpad and absolutely horrible, i had an hyperfixation and created an oc and everything)

alex claremont-díaz, henry fox-mountchristen-windsor, beatrice fox-mountchristen-windsor, june claremont-díaz, nora holleran, and percy "pez" okonjo have all had their points of view written or worked on at some point on my docs. between that and them seeing the light of day is another thing.

i am working on SO many wips rn bc ive been sick and that has meant being in bed and not doing shit most of the day bc it hurts to breathe sjsksjsksjsksjskssjsksjkssjsksjsjsjajkssj

here, i give yall a snippet of the musician!alex au yall saw on the wip title game (that can be alternatively called "fulfilling most of smut saturday prompts in one single fic bc i wanted to try writing smut and it quickly got out of my hands")

so, idk if this would be nsfw bc it is not the smut itself, but more like smut-adjacent narration, but still putting the break so y'all can decide if you want to read it or not

This exact moment, though? It might not only embarrass him in a very public setting, but might also make him combust and collapse from sheer lust.

The entire place is crowded to the point of asphyxiation, the fans are spinning at their limit speed on the ceiling, and Henry feels like this is probably how hell feels.

That is, if hell ever had the pleasure of getting Alexander Claremont-Díaz on his knees, making the most obscene and erotic guitar solo known to mankind, thrusting his hips to the rhythm of She by Harry Styles on his guitar while the lights focus on him; his open white shirt shows the chain he now knows contains the key to his family's home at Texas, his glistening chest and the sweat that rolls over his collarbones, his pectorals, his abdomen and then disappear on his navel behind the guitar. It makes Henry reminisce of that first video he ever saw of Alex, and can’t help but compare the performance to seeing it live after more than a year, while knowing how excited he had been at the rehearsal, jumping and moving around while refusing to practice because of his own jitters.

Of course it paid off, Alex, the bloody show-off, has the entire place entranced under his spell, not even the clients sitting on the bar stools, who had shown little interest in the performance through the night, could take their eyes off of Alex.

Henry absolutely gets it, but can't help the feeling of jealousy that courses through him. He desperately wants to drop to his knees to show Alex how marvelous he is, hoping he thrusts in his mouth like he does on his guitar.

Literally all of it is gold. Fight me. I was going to write “especially [piece title]” but I LITERALLY CANNOT CHOOSE ONE. Your Bokuto nightmare piece. Your Kuroo angsty fight. Your Tendou dealing with S/O with parents who yell piece. Your Kinktobers. Your Futakuchi and Mattsun pieces. And your Terushima pieces. Ugh. I CANNOT CHOOSE. OH AND YOUR STREAMER KENMA!!!!!! OKay just… all of it. I can’t choose. I tried, and I failed, and I’m willing to admit failure.

What’s a story I’d love to see you write? I don’t want to say this… because it hurts me… but I just KNOW you’d write brilliant angst. Some of my fav pieces of yours are pained beginnings with happy endings. That fight with Tsukki after a bad day at work. The pieces I mentioned above (nightmare pieces and fighting pieces and angsty home life ha.. ha.ha.ha.). That Oikawa one where the reader wakes up in bed without him and thinks he left. You write these gorgeous atmospheres and descriptive, visceral feelings, and if you chose to use it for evil…. You could get evil shit done. You’re SO powerful. So I want to read it… but also…. I don’t. I’d love to see you write ABO like you mentioned a while back or just see you explore a cutesy soulmate AU or something. I think you’d be really good at writing an AU where you hear what the other person’s listening too. I feel like you’d be so good at making me feel something for someone who was in another city. (think this would be cute with Tsukki cos he’s headphones boy, OR terushima because I like the dynamic of someone flirty, who clearly cares about looks, falling for someone he can’t see) ANYWAY….

Have any of your stories helped me through a hard time? Of course. Your self-harm piece came at a time I needed it. Iwaizumi’s in particular saved my life. But also your Tendou dealing with S/O parents who fight… came right when I needed it. Also starting college… was hard.. And reading and rereading your fluff really pulled me through it.

Do I genuinely like your blog, it’s aesthetic or posts? It’s overall feel? It’s content? Yes. The aesthetic is, ngl, a wee bit basic. But I kinda love that. And the feel? It feels like home. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Your blog is my safe space. So, yes, I love. It’s content? YES. OF COURSE. I can't believe the first long post i have in a while is this and not a new fanfic huhu im so sorry ive been ignoring yall

(Tw: mentions of trauma and mental health as I explain some plot differences)

first off, to the two anons, thank you for reaching out! it did worry me for quite a bit that two seperate people had told me about it. It made me even want to delete the whole work after tbh since well it feels off and i don't really like the idea of having my stuff copied since i worked hard on that (despite it being bad yes thats why i was confused in the first place why someone would ecen want to palgarize it since its not even a super duper original idea)

Thankfully,,, the similar thing only would be y/n running away with her twins qnd the boy loving the girl too much either ways,,, the whole vibe was different so I didn't think it was plagarized at all.

For instance, In the other writer's story, Y/N actually gets and wants to tell him off the bat but because of sakusa's lousy parents, she cant do it, I'd say her mc's stronger i guess, if sakusa didnt had lousy ass parents?? I mean she was willing to fess up when i read it in the beginning.To surmise, Her MC's mentally healthier and seems to be a good mom off the bat?? Idk thats the vibe i got from the story like if kiyoomis parents werent like those parents from those kdramas, they'd be doing aigt since she was literally ready to tell him.

Meanwhile, coward's 'y/n' never wanted to tell him, right off the bat, she didnt hesitate. She never planned to tell him or anyone who he was ever. Even daiki had to solve that on his own. She was willing to bring it to her grave because she knows she'd rather die alone than risk ending up like her parents. She is portrayed from the very beginning as someone who never got over her childhood trauma. In shorter terms, she isn't as mentally or emotionally strong as the other author's MC.

Thats one really huge difference I saw.

Anyways i could go on and tell the difference between the two. The ground work of coward has been done way too many times to count tbh, this had happened even before when someone had told me me and a fellow tumblr friend had a similar idea (but once again it was debunked). Even I admit that coward isnt a n original idea. like i said before i was inspired by that one kdrama 'what is love' hshaha and i just wanted to quench my thirst for writing.

1. what is your ideal setting for focusing on your writing?

this confused me for a moment...because shouldn’t it be where? im so sorry. ok honestly...my ideal setting is in my bathroom in the tub with no water. this is ideal but i rarely do it. primarily this is because i do my best thinking by water - lakes, oceans, nature - which has resulted in tubs and sinks. i once wrote a midterm paper in my dorm bathroom in the nook under the tall sink. but because its uncomfortable and impractical, and i am not pressured to finish a paper under a time crunch, im kind of...all over the place? sometimes i write in bed with a few candles lit. other times im on the couch in my living room. i have a desk and i did all of chanvember last year at this desk, but since ive been working from home the writing space has become the work space and im still struggling to get the balance right. in all scenarios, i need a good snack (usually hummus + chips/veggies), water, and music playing is an absolute must. if the music is wrong, i simply cant write. thats how its always been.

2. what is your favorite genre to write?

angst, horror, mafia, historical, science fiction. i love love love writing these genres. romance falls thematically into these, but writing strictly a romantic drama is incredibly difficult for me.

3. do you prefer to write on paper, or digitally?

these days im all digital but when i was working in the office i was a mix of both. id scribble ideas on a piece of paper and rip it out to take it home; if i was on the train, id write ideas quickly into my notes app. several paragraphs of hero, replay, currents, and bloodletting exist on paper which i eventually transcribed into docs. but if im sitting down to write a fic, its generally digital.

4. it’s the middle of the night and you suddenly wake up with an idea. what do you do?

i have to flesh out the idea before i transcribe it. it depends on its its a plot idea or a line. if its a line that hits me or feels important, it immediately goes into the planning doc for whatever fic it relates to or suits best. i will then think about this line over and over until it becomes nonsensical an, hopefully though it is highly unlikely, fall back asleep and dream up something inspired by this line.

if its a story idea, i generally dont forget those so i dont need to immediately write them. those kinds of ideas arise out of dreams (assuming it woke me up, in this scenario) and i rarely forget what i dream. in that situation, i will not be able to fall back asleep. anyone who knows me knows that i struggle getting sleep. at best i will average 3-4 hours a night, simply because im thinking too much. so if this woke me up, ill spend the rest of the night thinking about how i want it to go, who it will suit, making a playlist or thinking about songs, gathering inspiration from my fiction fodder blogs, and only when the sun comes up will i consider perhaps its time for sleep. once i officially begin the day, ill review the vague planning doc ill likely have formed in my brain and actually compile it into a tangible document.

5. who is your favorite person to write about?

i mean....hello lmaooo park chanyeol. hes my muse. i do all my best writing for him, even if its unintentional. in other groups, i adore writing for taehyung and namjoon. their minds compel me. ive recently been thinking about writing some pieces for got7 and i do have an unfinished WIP for @red-exo and in all instances writing for JB excites me.

6. do you like making your own characters, or do you usually write about real people?

i mean...its RPS fic on this blog, so its real people but its a face claim. theyre kind of like my barbie dolls i insert into worlds in my head. so in a sense...theyre my own characters but they happen to look like idols lmao conversely, writing original characters (as in wyrm tamer, asas, theoretically TQIS) scares me. ive written rps fanfic for so long its as though ive lost confidence in writing my own characters. this is why many of my stories have started to see the introduction of other characters to practice it.

7. have you ever written a book, or a story with more than 15 chapters (or 100k words)?

ok the answer is yes but its not published. its 30 chapters, 200k words. it was originally a fanfic and ive toyed with editing it over the years in the advent that maybe one day i would publish it if i liked it enough.

fun fact: hero is about 15K away from 100K words. i will be celebrating when it gets there.

8. how often do you get ideas?

like...constantly. all the time. every time i hear music, or watch a film, or read something in a book, my mind commences the ‘would you like to go to another dimension’ quest and i always, without fail, hit the yes button.

9. do you ever get an idea that you really like, but just can’t seem to finish?

*glances sidelong at my masterlist and my 17 unpublished wips* you must be new here

10. what is your least favorite plot?

like...genre? as i said before, idol!verse is something i refrain from reading. i struggle profoundly writing fluff/romantic fluff which is why i try to practice it. plots, in general, in which someone has to go through a makeover of some kind (appearance wise) to suddenly be categorically enough (this isnt just fic...its how i feel in any media). rape/dub-con is a hard pass. otherwise, im down for pretty much anything.

that makes so much sense actually? like A Lot of sense. i don’t think you should feel bad about that at all i mean if you are comfortable with how you perceive them then by all means! haha! what’s fun about fanfics is that people can take one character and shape them in so many different ways. canon doesn’t anyways give us depth to characters yet writers do which 🙏🏽 godsent. but then again, it can feel weird if someone makes them behave like ~someone~ else haha. i remember it used to be a hot topic in voltron actually, where people would portray lance as a weak and emotional guy only even if he’s arguably the bravest and most bamf... people didn’t like that very much. do you know what i’m talking about?

I dont want to write an actual fanfic I just want to throw the bits and pieces of the alternate ending that I want out there so that I can cement them but also if theres a fic closer to what I think wouldve happened than the other fics Ive read, yall can direct me to it

First off- Tris wouldnt leave her gun. That was crap. She definitely shot that guy while he was getting all emotional about her mother. MAYBE he shoots her in the leg. MAYBE

Moment of mutual understanding when Tobias comes back with his mother and Tris has forgiven Caleb. They dont need to talk about it. They just nod and continue as if neither had been betrayed by the last shreds of their families theyve decided to bring back into their lives.

They completely drop the name "Eaton". When they get married they either take Tobias' mothers maiden (as thats what she goes by even in the books) or Prior since heaven knows Tris' father was a better man than Marcus and I think canon established that Tobias had already respected him.

As much as I love the thought of them naming a child after one of Tris' parents or one of their fallen friends, theres just too many of them. And I dont think either of them wants a constant reminder of what theyve lost. Plus I feel like theyre the type to show respect for the fallen by Not naming a child after them. Cause if their child isnt named Natalie, everyone still thinks of Natalie Prior when they hear the name, not their daughter. I think thered just be a name Tobias had always liked cause hes high key the one that thought about having a family his hole life. The middle name is probably a tribute though. Either to Natalie or Uriah.

Cara and Caleb. I dont think theyd be a good couple I just think Cara would adopt Caleb as her new little brother.

Christina is the fun aunt that introduces their daughter to makeup when shes 5. Tobias wouldve pitched more of a fit if Zeke hadnt taught her curse words last time they let him babysit.

I also want to explore what Christina and Calebs relationship would be like. He shared some good qualities with Will. I think they mightve made a good couple.

there’s no person in particular that really sticks out but I will say I’ve always admired jungkook, and really all trainees for that matter, who leave their families to start training really young because its a process thats hard physically, emotionally and mentally for late teen/early twenties trainees but there’s sO many kids who enter in their pre-teens and idk how they survive also I realized this doesn’t answer your question at all I'm sorry its 1:28 AM I’m just waiting for the DNA mv to drop

Rant: Long Post

Have i ever told you guys how much i hate coloring? Cause i do i really do. If i could sketch all day i would but those are a messy. Like my ability goes down as i spend more time on it for the most part. And wanna know what i hate? The thing i draw the most is mostly me. Does that make me conceited? I dunno. Like if i draw other things i use refs a lot and if i go to draw something else i dont know what to draw. I love klance but do i draw it thag much? No. I love lance but aside from when ive read fanfics and shit i dont rlly draw him. I love my ocs but i dont draw them that much either but you go through my sketchbooks and theres a bunch of fanart and then theres me. A lot of mes. Different aus different styles clothinfs posings positions little comics you name it. This has been a worry of mine for a while but i dunno. Today its really gotten to me. Like at least other people have ocs all i have are fucking self insert shit. Fuck me man. But back to coloring i did this one piece a while ago for a friend in like 30 minutes and it was pretty simple and pretty easy and i used a color palette for part of it and like boom bam done but now i dunno like. I draw myself so much and my colors are never consistent and i just see so many mistakes right now but i dont want to leave it a mess. Like goddamn alexis the least you could do is clean it up. But like i dunno. I jist dunno about all this any more. And like my traditional drawings look good but digital sucks ass. Im so tired. I fucking hate this i fucking hate me. God damn. Fuck it yall get this rant post. Have fun with it i dont fucking care i just. I think its just a slump just today a bad day im tired sort of thing but i dunno. Ive got ocs in there too but do i draw them? Do i flesh them out? No. I did a little to one. His last name keeps changing but his names eric. Ugh whatever. I dunno. I might go to sleep early and come back to this over the weekend or never but like. I dunno i just feel so let down this time. I really wanted to draw. I wanted to create something digitally and i was itching to draw something but i pulled up the program and i doodled a chibi keith and part of a lance as a warm up and then dove into this and i lost everything. Something cute and curvy? Nope i cant fucking do that. Youre lucky if everything turns out anatomically correct or proportionate but will it? Nope cause im a lazy mofo who fucking sucks at this. Uuugh i shouldve warmed up more i shouldve tried more things i shouldnt have even attempted to do this but i actually put effort into this galra oc??? Like i dont know!
