Hi! I'm excited for your posts :3 It would be really interesting to read your analysis on Jimin's chart!
So today we’re doing Jimin’s chart and my analysis of it. Let me make it clear right off the bat, that since I’m not a professional astrologer, some things may not match up, further since we’re not super sure of his birth time, it’ll definitely affect the reading. What I can be sure of is that I’ll do my best and I’m completely open to constructive criticism from you all!
Now lets get on with some basic stuff, for those who have not yet read the post with Namjoon’s moon analysis, I’ll again reiterate some principles of Vedic astrology! In the scenario that you’re still confused with all this jargon, feel free to reach out and I’ll be more than happy to help you out.
Starting out, we have to note that while western astrology is usually more advisory in nature, Vedic astrology’s main purpose is to predict. Also, we usually go a sign back from western astrology in Vedic astrology, so according to that for example, if you’re a libra rising, you become a virgo rising in Vedic astrology and so on and so forth. All planets will also shift back a sign, so a Capricorn Mercury will become a Sagittarius Mercury.
Now let’s be aware that the chart may be a bit different, but given the main d1 (Lagna) chart remains the same for about 2 hours, let’s focus on that and the moon chart (rashi chart) for this reading. We can also just look at d9 for strength but not house placements as that can be time sensitive. So, we can take a two hour margin of time discrepancy and still predict accurately.
For this reading, we have taken 13th October 1995 as the day and 10:34pm as the time of birth, with the location set to Busan.
OTHER THAN THIS, LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT ME TO DO A BIRTH TIME RECTIFICATION FOR JIMIN LATER ON SO WE CAN GET MORE ACCURATE PREDICTIONS.
Since this is a general chart analysis, we shall be covering topics briefly and discussing the moon, ascendant and sun. For an in depth reading, do pick a smaller and focussed topic as we can honestly keep going on and on about a chart.
THIS READING WILL BE DONE IN 4 PARTS, FOLLOWING THE ASCENDANT, MOON, SUN AND MISCELLANEOUS.
On with the actual reading now-
Right off the bat, we can see Jimin is born into Gemini, with his ascendant at 16’49’, within the Nakshatra of Arda, within the fourth quadrant or pada. His lagna lord, Mercury is retrograde in the 4th house conjunct with sun, in the sign of virgo, where Mercury is naturally exalted as well as Mercury being in its Mooltrikon sign here. Secondly, the lord of Ardra, rahu, is sitting in the 5th house conduct Venus. Further the first house receives aspects from both rahu(north node) and mars. We can keep going but we’ve got a whole chart to cover here.
Now onto explaining what all this means. Being born into gemini makes the natives jovial and social by nature, all while having a very sharp mind. The phrase that comes to mind is ‘a wolf in sheep’s clothes’, not because they’re inherently bad or something, but because people don’t give them enough credit for their genius calculating mind. Throwing the Nakshatra of Ardra into this, I can definitely see the dots connecting slowly. Ardra literally means ‘the fortunate one’. An apparent destructive Nakshatra, given its ruled by the deity Rudra, it has several different aspects to it.
People born in ardra tend to have very extreme emotions and may be prone to anger issues and a habit of destructing anything they deem imperfect. People in this Nakshatra also make great actors due to their ability to mimic others well, a quality that makes them well liked and sociable, often giving them a dual persona of seriousness and goofiness. Such people are extremely affectionate and motherly, And men may display an effeminate quality to them, given that the Nakshatra is female in nature. Further, since rudra is also representative of the half man half woman god, (Ardhnarishwar), such people may have a conflict with wanting to show more and more stereotypically masculine sides to them and thus may engage in extreme dieting or bodybuilding to achieve this.
On a professional front, such people are extremely hardworking and rule abiding, sometimes to the extent of being self destructive. They have a humorous disposition and often hide behind that persona. They also keep a tight circle of friends and often check up on them. Compassionate and coolheaded, such people are often the centre of attention. The tend to multitask very often and find it hard to remain still and let go. lastly, such people and their career usually peaks after the age of 32 (aaahhh whaaat jimin).
lastly, his ascendant is in the last quadrant, which is ruled by Pisces and thus Jupiter. Being in an enemy sign here, people can have body image issues (1st house is our body and mind) and mental destress regarding their capabilities. Such people also love to engage in drinking and are very philanthropic in nature, loving to elevate the unfortunate people in society.
His lagna lord is retrogade in 4th house in virgo, conjunct sun and without aspects. The former indicates that a personal has a constant up and down tussle with their self image, and people often have demeaned them for either their looks or personality. This causes a person to be extremely insecure in themselves, and thus may require constant coddling and words of affirmations. Going four houses away, we can see that his mother is someone who truly shaped him and his persona. Their childhood upbringing plays a big role in them. Their childhood could have been tumultuous, with constant disagreements and obstacles.
They may have problems expressing their emotions or penning down their words, or they might be a very cautious person in terms of what they speak and to whom they speak. Mercury is also exalted here, giving it power, so we see that eventually the native breaks forth of this dilemma in life. They may have a career related to communication (see mercury aspecting 10th house), and they will have a successful career at that. The person may own a lot of real estate with this position. Since its mercury in virgo, such a person may be brilliant with handling technology and may even pursue IT based careers due to the ease of handling gadgets.
Given that here, sun in conjunct, right off the bat, the person must resemble their father a lot in terms of looks. They also have a regal appearance that demands attention. They may be well spoken. Their father was dominating and shaped them into who they are. Since mercury and sun aren’t friends, we can also see that such a person may have anger issues and problems controlling their tongue. This conjunction also forms the renowned Budh-Aditya Yoga, a conjunction that shows extreme smartness in a person. While this doesn’t necessarily have to be academic, such people can be very sharp and grasp things easily, they may even have knowledge on a wide variety of subjects and be extremely curious to learn more. Due to this, a person also become a great communicator, and people enjoy listening to them talk as they hold people’s attention with their unique way of speaking. They can be a great salesperson or politician with such a placement. Studies should come easy, as would reading anything from novels to detailed instructions. There may be a talent for writing stories and one may be good at interpreting symbols, font design or calligraphy.
Now going to rahu and Venus in 5th. This is a great placement honestly, given that Venus, the lord of love, beauty and creativity is sitting in the house of children, past karma, creativity and primary education, in the sign of libra. This would indicate that a native with their Nakshatra lord here would be extremely creative (rahu blows qualities out of proportion), kind of childlike innocence that would attract people who would want to literally ‘nurture’ or mother them, or inversely they could themselves be very motherly to their friends, such people also have good education till primary level (undergraduate level) and also carry a lot of good karma from their past life, which results in gains now.
Further the sign of Libra signifies that their beauty or creativity would be very magnetic, they exude charm and regalness, they tend to attract people like moths and have a very star crossed lovers kind of personality. Given Venus is the lord of 12th and 5th house itself, sitting in its mooltrikon sign of libra, it is extremely powerful here. Such a person may have alien or distinguished ideas, explore new arenas, write about devotion and deep philosophical experiences. They may also be very fond of children and children’s literature.
Given the 12th house is also the house of paranormal and extraterrestrial beings, such a person may be very in tune with their own selves and may regularly take part in activities of the occult like tarot, astrology, magick or occult like practices, or at least they have the natural capacity to do so. They may also be great psychologists with this placement and read people’s minds, with acute sixth sense and empathetic powers. Such a placement may also give clairvoyant abilities to a person. They may have troubles with their left eye, liver and digestive track also.
Rahu in libra makes someone overtly sensual and starry eyed about the world, seeing stuff through rose tinted glasses. Here in the 5th house, this may give an unrealistic image of love and grandeur, cause obsession like love, unrealistic image of self to the world. They may be also seen as a sex symbol of sorts often time, but also have a very cute site to them, as libra is a dual sign itself. Given its the ruler of 9th house here, where retrograde Saturn sits, the person may have many failures in their love life or have a very unsuccessful love life till much older, when Saturn matures at 36 years. further, aqueous gives an affinity for wanting to stand out, attracting people and being attracted to people with unconventional personalities (vmin stans) and of course, being excited about all things foreign. They may have an affinity for writing about unusual and unrelated scenarios or daydreaming about them. They might want to provide comfort to unusual people and nurture them alot, while also wanting to stand out and become unconventional themselves, they hate being blended into the crowd with this position.
As for the mars and rahu aspect to the lagna, it would largely affect the physical and mental state here. Rahu has a tendency to give long, elongated and cat like eyes to people, or very exaggerated features in general, as rahu represents the extremes. These people have unusual but magnetic (rahu is temptation) looks, which only get better and better with age (rahu is the oldest after Saturn). Mars over here gives a ruddy complexion and untidy and unruly hair. It gives a stout athletic body, which is made extremely lean due to his gemini rising. These people have exaggerated Adam’s apple and extremely masculine features (look at his face, at points he looks like he’s a statue with those sharp chiseled features). Mars may give a very sexual look to a person too, making them look more hot than cute usually. The extremely emotive eyes of his are all thanks to ardra Nakshatra, which usually promises that (the eye smile?).
Such people may have very violent thoughts, due to mars. They might also be extremely passionate and would do anything to reach their goal. Rahu here brings a tendency to fall for addictions, such as alcohol and drugs.
So this is part 1 of jimin’s chart, I’ll analyze his sun, moon, miscelnous (house placements, atmakarka, amatyakarka, darakarka, divisional charts and a lot more in that)
Do let me know if you enjoyed reading this and if you have any feedbacks.

Spirituality: Fate And Destiny
Tumblr media
ARE YOU LIVING OUT YOUR FATE OR CREATING YOUR DESTINY?
Fate and destiny are both terms that tend to be used interchangeably in conversations. We hear people saying “He met his fate” and “It must be her destiny” – but have you ever wondered that the actual differences between fate and destiny are?
WHAT IS FATE?
“Fate” comes from the Latin word Fatum meaning “that which has been spoken.” Therefore, through the ages, fate has come to be associated with that which has been predetermined for our lives. Fate is based on the notion that there is a natural order in the Universe which cannot be changed, no matter how hard we try. The ancient Greeks and Romans even believed that three goddesses called Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos (or the “Three Fates”) had the role of determining a person’s ultimate life path.
Overall, fate tends to have pretty negative connotations. For example, people who experience misfortune often tend to believe that fate is the cause. Pessimistic terms such as “to seal one’s fate” and “a fate worse than death” all suggest that fate is something undesirable and negative.
Spiritually, fate is what occurs when we ignore our life calling and don’t actively work to reconnect with our souls or True Nature. When we leave our lives up to fate, we are basically handing over the reigns of control to other people and outside circumstances. When we don’t put any effort into consciously changing and evolving, what happens is fate.
WHAT IS DESTINY?
Destiny has much more positive connotations than fate. Deriving from the Latin word Destinare, destiny means “that which has been firmly established.” While this definition also refers to the idea of predetermined events, destiny is something we can actively shape and alter. Unlike fate, there is an element of choice in destiny. Qualities such as courage, compassion, willpower, and patience can all help to change your destiny.
Spiritually, destiny is intimately connected to our ultimate life path. When we choose to step up and take responsibility for our lives, then we are actively shaping our destiny instead of leaving our lives to fate. Fulfilling our destiny involves consciously developing a connection to our deepest inner selves and maturing on an emotional, mental, and spiritual level.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FATE AND DESTINY? (SUMMARIZED)
Fate is that which you cannot change. Destiny is that which you’re meant to do. While fate is what happens when you don’t take responsibility for your life, destiny is what happens when you commit to growing, learning, and taking chances. Being “destined for greatness” only comes through active and conscious decisions. But fate is what happens when you let other people and external circumstance dictate your life.
DO WE HAVE CONTROL?
Fate and destiny can be perceived as two sides of the same coin: both are predetermined. But the important thing to remember is that there are infinite possibilities in life. Fulfilling our destiny means consciously directing the stream of our lives in a certain direction. While subjectively (to the ego) this means that we have control and choice, objectively, there is no such thing as control or choice because the concept of “me” and “you” don’t exist (except in the mind).
So the answer to the question “do we have control” is paradoxical: we do and we do not have control. However, while we are still operating on the level of having a sense of self (ego), it is vital that we proactively work to step up and take responsibility for our destiny.
HOW TO FULFILL YOUR DESTINY
As long as you are consciously seeking to learn, grow, and spiritually evolve, you are fulfilling your destiny. However, if you’re wanting to achieve your highest potential, you might benefit from the following tips:
Develop self-understanding.There are so many free resources out there (including this website) which can help you understand who you are better. Our free tests section is a great place to start.
Find out what you’re passionate about. What sets your soul on fire? What excites and thrills you? What do you admire and deeply enjoy doing? Make sure you keep doing whatever fulfills you.
Surround yourself with supportive people who inspire you. Critics and judgmental people often trigger huge amounts of self-doubt within us. Sometimes we actually listen to these unsupportive people who tell us how to “live our lives,” resulting in us choosing the wrong life path. Identify people in your life who are negative influences and remove them or reduce contact. Seek out kind, inspiring, and empathetic friends.
Permit yourself to move out of your comfort zone. Often, the biggest life changes occur when we make bold decisions. Sometimes fulfilling your destiny means getting a little bit uncomfortable or even making a terrifying leap of faith. Whatever the case, make sure you listen to your intuition and also use logic where necessary.
Identify limiting beliefs. When we believe our thoughts, we experience anger, insecurity, sadness, shame, and anxiety. The number one greatest block most people experience when trying to fulfill their destiny are core beliefs. Core beliefs are the main ideas we carry about ourselves which we were conditioned to believe since birth. Common core beliefs include “I am unworthy,” “I am stupid,” “I am a bad person,” and “I don’t deserve happiness.”
Ask other people for support. You don’t need to travel your journey alone. If you need some guidance, seek out help from a loved one, counselor or spiritual teacher. People who have walked this path before you can share a lot of wisdom which will benefit you greatly. I like to say a simple prayer asking for guidance when I need help. Prayer doesn’t have to be religious – you can pray to Life, the Universe, Spirit, the Mystery, or whatever moves you.
Make a list of all your strengths. This simple practice can help to direct your energy in a more sustainable and beneficial way.
Remember that setbacks are normal. There is no such thing as failure, only learning opportunities. If something doesn’t go your way, take a deep breath and realize that sometimes life wants us to move in a different direction.
Create goals. Goals are clearly defined milestones which can help you to get organized and prioritize what is most important to you.
Show kindness towards yourself. The more love and compassion you show towards yourself, the more you are naturally moving towards your ultimate destiny. Be mindful of negative and critical thoughts and let them pass without attaching to them.
Be yourself. There has never been a person exactly like you on the face of this planet, ever. Instead of imitating other people, explore what comes most naturally to you. There are too many people out there copycatting others. Be yourself. Explore your own style. Enjoy the peace that comes with not having to be someone you’re not.
Ask yourself, “What do I want the most in life?” and direct all of your attention towards fulfilling that goal. Do you want freedom, peace of mind, love? When all’s said and done, everything returns back to the desire for happiness. However, remember that chasing happiness actually creates suffering. Happiness can never be found in the past or future: it can only ever be found now, in the present moment. Therefore, to further refine the question, you might like to ask yourself “How can I enjoy life right now, in the present moment?”
Much love to all... go in peace my beautiful friends 💓💓

Sometimes you make rash judgements or statements while inebriated that you later regret or just know you didn't think through properly. In those times, I find my wanting clarity, to hit undo and try that moment in time over.
This is that do over I don't know if I will have the courage to send...
So 100% sober me at the moment and in being so, I need to say this.
I never really have been much on friendships. I have associates, people who become part of your circle for whatever reason and then seep into other parts of your life and linger but do not grow with you. My husband calls us people collectors, we accept people in, we try and influence them in a postive way, we give them our time, we just exist with them. The outcome varies, sometimes they become better people or just tire of us and move on, sometimes our influence is so much so they can't move past it and linger until we are forced to quell the situation, and some influence us enough back that we want them as an ongoing fixture (ie, a friend).
I've collected a lot of people over the many lifetimes I have managed to cram into this body. But few people ever find a place with me as actual friends, people i want to give my time to continually, people i want to know everything about and equally in return everything about me, people i want to know who i really am and who they really are. The most precious gift one can give is themselves, and to my friends and family i give that freely and in abundance.
Not many people are invited into the chaos, and fewer still choose to remain long enough to find the beauty in chaos that is me. The good, the neutral, the evil, all the pieces that encapsulate the person i am, was and try to be. Just as importantly in given them the opportunity to explore the chaos, to learn of me and themselves, hopefully find their own beauty in chaos and help leave them the same or better than when I entered their life.
Although my husband, he is my best friend. I have a few various people that i have met over the decades through work who have become friends to a degree. People I have know the majority of my life and share common trauma or solace with, but the circle has always remained mostly associates by choice. Friendship is a level I just can't reach with most for various reasons.
But as events occur to remind you that life is just that life, experiencing the world and people and making moments, we found ourselves looking for more. Content in our co-dependecy yes, knowing we are an eternal unit and despite what ebbs and flows roll in we will roll right through with them together, knowing our love is mutual and infinite. But still knowing that more could be had to experience, both as a unit and as individuals, we decided to once again,as we have done before, try to expand our circle. So we started trying to invite more people into the chaos, we got out of our comfort zones and reentered the dark sides of the chaos ourselves, we choose to live.
We began looking for people who aren't afraid of the unknown but welcome it. Those who if they don't share our views of the world can at least communicate and understand and feel comfortable letting us give them a glimpse of the insanity that is our lives. We want to meet people, form bonds, experience every opportunity life gives us, and to share those opportunities with the people we meet along the way as well.
I wanted friends, i wanted to be more, and reach more, and know more. I wanted to just let life happen, to go into the new or unknown and open myself fully to people to become associates, friends, lovers, a part of our unit, whatever role, just to exist and experience with me/us. I wanted that from the beginning of this lifetime I am living now, unfortunately i spent too many years being caught up on myself and my own insecurities to see that my husband had felt the same way the whole time.
As a lucky side effect of the 2 month long ass raping the universe has given me, the Hulk finally won and came to the surface. As has been since we met, my Betty Ross, my husband saved me and brought the real me back. The discussion and subsequent realization that our mutual misery was starting to break into the shell of comfort and love we had settled into led us to the journey of now. Expand our selves, live like the true us, like we did when we first met, remember and embrace our love and friendship and try to find people to share that want for life with us. This was the experiment, this was the new journey and it brought us both back from the mundane selfless trap of adulting we were struggling to free ourselves and each other from. Just the prospect of the venture was enough to bring the light back into our darkness, and so we traveled on.
We both entered the world of online dating, we made profiles and we started to meet people. Not necessarily looking for anything physical but rather just learning to talk and interact with people again outside of our jobs and if some form of relationship developed then so it was. Just vibe, just live and that was the idea and still is really. We started meeting people, having conversations. The results have been mixed, mostly just more associates to expand the circle, some strange obsessive people as can be expected, and a few randoms that are showing potential as more but that still has to be determined. Overall a good journey so far. My husband has found a new friend and more importantly his escape, at least in short term, and i have been able to influence some people who needed someone in their life at the moment i entered.
I was content in the random short bursts of interaction spread out over a few to sometimes many people. I was meeting people and chit chatting but i wasn't feeling like friendship or more was an option with anyone. Then you sent me a message and i followed suit. We began the same banter that i had with everyone else. We exchanged pleasantries, we joked, we flirted aimlessly, we just existed sharing each others time. You taught me about things to which I was/am ignorant, you laughed at my hyper randomness and made be feel better about myself in doing so. Primarily, I like to think we entertained each other through our individual misery at least a little. I found an escape from the stresses of my life when talking with you. I found myself interested, enough to invite you further into the chaos, and you accepted. I told my husband about you, he was happy for me and glad i had someone to share my time when he could not. I wanted more and still do. I wanted to be more than associates in the passing of time. I wanted to know you because I feel you are capable of knowing me.
I really just want the opportunity to have a friend and I want that to be you. Nothing nefarious, nothing hidden, just a place in my life under a few conditions in order to be open and honest with all involved. I still think you could be that and honestly I do miss the escape and in a way the normalcy your presence was providing. I guess I miss the chance for more, I know I wanted more. I haven't been interested in really knowing another person in a long time but you intrigue me because we are different, yet possibly the same, and that question wasn't answered for me.
I like to think there is still an opportunity, if you are willing to just give the ignition another try. You said you guessed that the bus stops here, but why? If nothing else, us west virginian hillbillies are known for our hospitality and always giving a hand. So I say why not hook up the jumper cables and we see where this road leads, if nothing else but for the pleasure of the drive together.

SUN IN SCORPIO
Scorpio is an incredibly complex and misunderstood sign. Single minded, and driven by an intensity of purpose. Scorpios approach life with total commitment or none at all. The Scorpion is willing to tear down the past of a whole relationship if someone isn’t dedicated, loyal or devoted to the union. The type has the gift for seeing through pretense, and sometimes there can be possessiveness in relationships keeping close tabs on a partner.
In Scorpion relationships, one never knows if a relationship will last forever, or end in destruction the passions are a smoldering force of human desire and frustration. However, the individual takes love very seriously and is never lighthearted in his approach immersing the soul deep into the partner.
“Deep their obsessive control, they are not selfish lovers. Scorpios are highly sensitive and will instinctively know how to loosen inhibitions. they give as much as they take. Scorpios want to bring their partners to unlimited heights of ecstasy and hold them there until the line between agony and pleasure is completely blurred…Scorpios don’t want to just take possession of the body; they want the mind and the soul as well.”
This deep, secretive, and impenetrable sign has an air of mystery, a secretive, and powerful aura. The individual gives off a controlled intensity, and the strong impulse to immerse itself in life is no more evident than in close relationships where the battlefield of love often takes place. The person is drawn to drama and encounters situations that transform him in some way, and it may come through a deep loss. In later life, it may lead Scorpio into the role of the therapist, healer, and psychiatry, and there may be an interest in the occult with a voracious desire to know the secrets of the universe.
Often intensely lonely and with an insatiable need to connect deeply with others, Scorpios have an overwhelming desire to feel a strong emotional bond with anything, or anyone, in which his energy is fused. The Scorpio individual is on the path towards learning how to come to terms with their own darkness, to understand the psychological emotions, desires, and needs that underpin all of his behavior. Osho believed that too much closeness in a relationship is dangerous, as the other may see your reality. In relating closely people see more of what is underneath, and Scorpio understands this like no other. The individual is characterized by passionate, emotional convictions, and is often driven by jealousy, obsession and a need to plumb the depths of any situation.
To Scorpio, death is not always the end, and in many ways the person is always moving toward rebirth, to have power over death and to illustrate the real meaning of life after death, with the empowering feeling of having stared into its abyss and won. According to Zen teachings, life is not exclusive of death; death is not exclusive of life, no longer plural but singular. Moreover, in The Anatomy of Human Destructiveness – Freud in the 1920’s formulated a new theory in which the passion for destroying (“death instinct”) was considered equal in strength to the passion for loving (“life instinct”) and sexuality.
The underlying principle of Scorpio is transformation, and this doesn’t come easy. The transformation is coupled with pain, agony, and sometimes torment, it is as if the person spirals downwards to the bottom of its nature. It often involves the release of the ego and this usually triggers suppressed emotions, those feelings that have been shoved down into the pit of the personality. Being the second water sign on the zodiac wheel, Scorpio reaches a point of emotional crisis, and one could say a place where the individual is at a cathartic precipice, where the unconscious, the stuff we have buried is looking for some kind of final resolution.
Scorpio is the ruler of plot twists, fateful events, and secrets and often something that has been kept hidden comes to the surface, resulting in a  massive explosion of emotion. Throughout life information is revealed holding important knowledge about Scorpio’s destiny. It may come in the guise of an enduring puzzle, deep dark secrets that the individual himself digs up. Scorpio is a place of healing, of facing the shadow and overcoming its emotional demons.
Profound emotions usually hide their vulnerability, the person will sting and wound anyone who seems to threaten its protective layers, for these people are certainly no pushovers, lashing out when others invade their space. Scorpio operates between passionate engagement with the object of their desire to frozen withdrawal, traversing between the hot and cool nature of the sign. In Scorpio, there is no medium, in-between, or half-way, no lukewarm feelings here. The sign also realizes that while intimacy heals many wounds from the past, being so close to others can hurt as well, and so over time, it has built up many levels of self-protectiveness, an almost impenetrable fortress.
Exposing our psychological selves to others involves trust, and when we don’t use good judgment regarding the partners we choose, such exposure of our private selves can result in criticism, ridicule, and abandonment. Scorpio hates its own emotional vulnerability, it fears humiliation and will do whatever it takes to hide its vulnerable self. At their core, they are sensitive, being a water sign, their element will always rule sway, and will often make the choices. However, being ruled over by Pluto, there is much that is hidden, secret and buried in the personality that it may seem almost impossible to know them on the intimate level.
Scorpio’s are hard to get to know and they need to look deep within to come to terms with their own mysterious nature. Scorpio is the sign most susceptible to the forces of dark and light, and they dread the thought of losing control, and this drives them to dominate everything in their world.
Scorpio knows human beings, all carry within them a dark side, and is filled with deep insecurity, the kind that makes the world appear untrustworthy. If you humiliate Scorpio, you better watch out for this sign is an emotionally volatile sign, they are prone to sting. It is one of their most instinctive responses, and the type will not allow themselves to be teased, scolded or even threatened in demeaning ways, there is an enormous amount of pride.
When Scorpio reacts, they aim for the weakest part of the individual, they are super clued into what goes on underneath a person, beyond the exterior, and they often aim their punches on the psychological level where more damage can be done. Scorpio’s passion is even more intensified, because it is often restrained or suppressed, only making it more powerful.
Scorpio types need to learn to release their heated emotions more often before they get out-of-control and upset the relationships that are deeply valued.
Scorpio is capable of putting up many psychological barriers, designed to forbid access to the underground world of the unconscious which is kept under firm lock and key. No secrets are to be kept from Scorpio, and if needed, they will enter into another’s territory to get any secret information to keep them in control. Self-aware Scorpio types are dedicated to the exploration of the mysteries of the human complexity and they seek out knowledge, regarding the nature and power of their inner depths. Subjects like psychology, the occult and healing and transformation. The realm of Scorpio is where we undergo the beginnings of metamorphic change which later erupt to alter the landscape of our outer world, like a volcano.
The interior parts of Scorpio are where the subconscious well of secret fears, hatreds, lusts, compulsions and other discomforting feelings live. When we exist in these states of emotion they continue to consume our energy and leave us in toxic states. Scorpio has extraordinary stamina in the face of pain and traumatic experiences and the sign possesses incredible will power.
Scorpio is the catalyst for growth, change, and transformation, and no matter how painful the journey, they are willing to travel to the depths of their own being. This may involve mythical battles with the dragon of the unconscious terrain, a confrontation with those inner demons and psychological complexes that disturb the tranquility of life. Scorpio is life and death and before the phoenix rises from the ashes, they often live in a locked state of darkness, until that time they take flight and show us the true power that nature possesses.

YOUR JANUARY 2017 ASTROLOGY FORECAST – A NEW CYCLE BEGINS
Happy 2017 everyone. Welcome to the new cycle of events. 2016 was the ending of a 9 year cycle, which then 2017 becomes a #1 year launching a new 9 year cycle. So the whole world is in relaunch. #1 years are always new beginnings, but as they are new, there is a lot of mistakes and successes side by side, as we find our way on our new path and as we learn to “own” our new life/selves. #2 year is balancing and requires a lot of compromise and inner balancing of the masculine and feminine. #3 year is harmony, a kind of break from two years of hard work. #4 year is a tons of hard work as you begin to actually build your new world on a solid foundation. #5 is changes, and more changes and creativity and fun- expect the unexpected. #6 is love, whether that’s another person or love of your life or your life’s work. #7 is about looking within and connecting to your spiritual self as a year long focus and #8 is about being the boss, owning responsibility, accomplishment. And #9 is ending this cycle, letting things go to make room for the new, and keeping only what you truly treasure in your life.
In 2016 I cleaned my house like a fool for the last six months, making room for lots of new. I know this year is going to be very busy and full of changes and opportunities, and by cleaning out so much clutter and unwanted things from my environment, a true feng shui curing, and my personal sanctuary has a new kind of energy, with open space making room for the new that is coming into my life. And the Astrology for 2017 concurs completely with this energy of lots of new, lots of letting go, lots of fighting for what we want, lots of change – and of owning your personal power.
ASTROLOGICAL SHIFT – DECEMBER 26TH
The Astrological mood shifted on December 26th, when the big outer planets – Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto all moved on the chess board to places of confrontation. And this includes the Wounded Healer, Chiron, who is pushing our “stuff” to the surface so we cannot hide from it anymore. We are heading into a major Pluto cycle, where endings are coming to make way for new beginnings – a Phoenix rising from the ashes energy. But each of these big planets has their own agenda, which may not blend with the others, and there comes the stress, the fighting, the battles to hold onto what is good, while releasing what is not working. And this is also true on a personal level. What happens “out there” is also happening “within” us, because we are all part of this one piece of fabric and experiencing it simultaneously. And hiding from the work; avoiding the work; not facing the work you need to do within, can no longer be ignored. It’s in your face, and you are going to be stressed until you start to change.
SO CHANGE AND STOP PROLONGING THE PAIN.
It starts with asking yourself what is really important and what is mind numbing stupid stuff that fills our world and diverts us from reality? Is your cracked nail polish really that important? What if you start doing your own nails, keep them clear polished and give that money for your nails to help the 24% of American children who go to bed hungry EVER SINGLE NIGHT. Stop doing TV marathons and look into organizations who can help our world be a better place. Remember, advertising is about making money and selling you something. It’s not about selling you something that you need or is good for you quite often, but its getting you to open your wallet and BUY. Stop squandering your money on stupid stuff and save it, give it to charity, or work less and give yourself more free time to enjoy friends, family or be with yourself for inner exploration of self. Money and possessions do NOT bring happiness.
WHAT THE UNIVERSAL ENERGY IS DEMANDING…
The new call is to GET INVOLVED and make the world a better place by being of service to others. I don’t care if its helping the elderly, children, the environment, animals, global warming fixes, etc. Just be of service. And from this service you will receive personal joy, spiritual kudos and epiphanies about what’s important and what isn’t – and then “they” no longer control you because you are your own person who listens to your gut, not TV commercials and magazines. It is time for your personal power and to stand up to wrongs in the world. Protest wrongs via marches, letter writing, blogs, etc and make your opinion known. And ask yourself if that opinion is good for the many or only the few, and then you know if you need to expand your thinking and embrace the world, not your personal circle, or you’re on the right path, because we have to do this together and join hands to make the world a better place for us all.
For example, seeing all this racism and sexism come to a head shocks me frankly. Making yourself feel superior to someone else only showcases how very insecure you are. What are you lacking that makes you lash out at others? Perhaps you need to look within, face that pain that created this mindset and release it. We are ALL God’s children. Black people were born closer to the equator, so their skin has adapted and is darker; brown people live further from the equator and their skin is not as dark; while white people are from cold places with less sun, so they are lighter. That’s it. The different races are just geography. Help the bigots in your life get that.
Women are 51% of the world, can you really disrespect their contribution and importance and be sane? Women create community; birth and generally speaking, raise the children; they nurture and support; they generally keep the homes clean and cook for the family; they go out into the world to work out of want or need and carry a heavy burden of responsibility every day. Reducing them to sex objects is what a pubescent boy does, not men in the grown up world. Hating someone because of their race or sex is like telling your right arm you hate your left arm. They are a team and need each other to work well together. We all have two eyes, two hands, two feet, two lungs, two ears, two arms, two lobes in the brain, two legs – hmmm I see a pattern here.
This is our physical duality of the yin/yang or masculine and feminine energy – creating balance in the body (and I am sure to leave us with ONE in case of accidents). And its all about balance. We must respect people of every race, of every walk of life (thank God the Plumber will come and clear up my clogged toilet and the garbage man who takes away the trash from my house – these are great, hardworking, essential people in our lives, so why do we belittle them, like we do teachers who spend more time with our kids than we do in terms of one on one attention?) Our world is upside down and to make it right side up, we must change ourselves then the boat turns around and we are on a happy journey together.
MPOWERED WITH CONFIDENCEJANUARY 1, 2017 IS THE FIRST STEP IN BECOMING WHOLE, HEALED AND E
The astrology this month is quirky, conflicted, stressful, surprising and sometimes scary. You have to be a grownup to face what is coming, which is why finding your balance is so important. Knowing yourself, being comfortable in your own skin, is key to your character. It’s time to be YOU and not someone else because society has convinced you to ignore your true self and be like everyone else. Exploring who you are and finding the courage to come out into the world as that person is serious stuff. But being a clone, or hiding your true self, will never bring you happiness so you have to make changes.
SO HERE’S WHAT ASTROLOGY ASPECTS AFFECT US THE FIRST HALF OF JANUARY 2017.
On January 3rd Venus enters Pisces, making us dreamy and soft-hearted for about 3 weeks. Venus is exalted here and a great placement for love. Bond with people and lovers. Make new friends, find a lover. It’s about emotions and connection via the Universal love connection.
January 6 & 7 Sun conjunct Pluto. You might get some good news, but it could also go wrong. I suggest you walk softly and carry a big stick, and wait for another day to make deals if you can.
January 8 Mercury goes direct. Yippee!! Our minds will take a couple more days to shake off the fog, and then our brains will come back in top form as Mercury has moved back into Sagittarius making us smart, savvy, and ready to go. Think big and tackle big projects/issues.
January 9-11 the Sun is squaring Uranus AND Jupiter. It’s a T-square aspect which is very stressful. Expect outbursts; domestic and international violence and just bad hot headed decisions being made.
January 12 is a full moon in Cancer, the home of the Moon. Expect BIG emotions and religious fervor to take center stage. “I know what’s best” might prevail and people are just over the top emotional. It’s a crazy day generally.
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, WORK ON YOURSELF.
Become the butterfly, own your power, become balanced and centered and grounded, and stand up for humanity because its all of us together now, and when we join together as one to make things better, we will be unstoppable.
See you mid January!
