I've seen a random account on twitter claim random discord screenshots are Karl, and tbh I cannot believe people are taking a random account posting screenshots that don't even have dates on them nor attached context as legitimate and 100% true, unaltered and presented fully in context. I could've made those in about 15 minutes if I wasn't trying very hard. Like they intentionally removed the timestamps and claimed it was for "privacy" and to conceal the person's timezone. You can just. Change the date on your computer or w/e.
"There's no reason to fabricate these" Drama, clout, boredom, smearing someone, etc. There's no reason to believe these are real and not someone taking the piss.
Like, take one screenshot where he says "That's the worst video ever taken". Let's suppose that's a real screenshot for a moment, within the screenshot there's absolutely nothing that indicates what he's actually talking about. It's literally JUST that. The burner account CLAIMS that Karl said it was about one of Dream's singing tiktoks, but there's nothing even remotely presented that indicates that. Literally JUST "That's the worst video ever taken". He could literally be talking about any video.
Again, there's no verification that any of these are real, and some of them don't even make sense???
Like, okay, what would Karl not wanting to Paris have to do with anything? Like, maybe he didn't want to travel to Paris, maybe he was exhausted from flights, maybe he didn't want to deal with the jetlag. Maybe he said that sarcastically as a joke. The message before that was someone joking about him going to france being bad. There's again, no timestamps or context. He's within his rights to not want to go to Paris. It has nothing to do with anything else.
Also claiming that Karl was planning to intentionally distract people, because he "knew this would come out" by streaming with Sapnap or spamming tweets about other stuff? I- What? If he knew a mod was going to leak stuff, why would he not remove that mod? Why would he keep saying stuff in the chat with that mod in that? How would he even gets a heads up that the mod in question intended to leak stuff? Without knowing who it was?
I have no idea if these messages are real, again, this is something that takes literally seconds to fabricate, there's no confirmation any of this is actually coming from one of Karl's mods, there's absolutely no context included in any of the messages for if he might be being sarcastic or even talking about totally different topics. No context for dates/times other than "Today" which is honestly pretty sus because either it implies that Karl went and said this all in one day, like randomly he decided to shittalk people in his mod chat, talked about it, knew someone would leak his messages and just thought that was all well and fine. And that's assuming any of these are even real in the first place. Which is a pretty huge assumption.
Anyways, I'm begging people to stop taking discord screenshots from random fucking people as gospel. Some of you are legitimately falling for what is stupider than Infowars shit, "oh my secret sources in the government totally told me this is real". Next y'all are gonna come up and tell me that you found out that Karl or Dream or whoever is funded by Soros and you found the contacts posted on 4chan I stg.
Don't spread things you can't verify. Don't take fucking discord screenshots from a burner account at face value. Do we need to talk about fucking hypixel ss again?

hey guys btw there is actually never a good reason to loudly and publicly talk about how much u dislike a fanfic!! Like. let's break this down for a sec:
i don't like it
ok, understandable. i've dnf'd lots of fics because i didn't like them. but the people writing fanfiction are doing it for free and for fun, and you don't know anything about their lives. they could be a young writer just starting out! they could be an older writer getting back into writing after years of being unable to! they could be someone going through a rough patch whose only source of joy right now is writing their silly little stories! talking about how much you dislike a fanfic literally does nothing except hurt the person writing it. that's it. it is not productive, it is not necessary. even strangers on the internet deserve basic human empathy.

babe, i feel u! i'm a hater too. rant about it privately. shit on it in private messages or group chats with friends. u can dislike something without dragging its creator into the town square to throw tomatoes at them, yknow?

mmm ok. let's sit with this one for a second. i want you to ask yourself--is it really, really problematic? is it perpetuating harm against a marginalized group? remember, this is fanfic; it is outside the consumer economy, and the stories it tells will almost never make it to a mainstream audience. so is the story actually hurting people, or is the author just exploring something that you're uncomfortable with? because if you're just uncomfortable, then assuming the work is tagged properly, the best course of action is to just click away. as uncomfortable as it may be, people are allowed to write stories that you might find upsetting or gross or weird, and those stories existing is not inherently harmful in and of itself.
it is actively reinforcing harmful stereotypes/rhetoric/etc
okay! ok. if you are deeply concerned because you feel that this fic is genuinely harmful, then go to the writer. leave a comment. send them a message on tumblr or twitter or tiktok or wherever. explain your situation and see what they say! nine times out of ten, i'd bet that an ao3 writer means no harm and would be willing to listen and address your concerns. in fact, they might even be grateful to you for being kind enough to make them aware of a problem and educate them on it. every ao3 writer i've ever spoken to is an incredibly kind and thoughtful person; you don't need to immediately go on the attack
the writer is unreachable/nonresponsive/not willing to address or change the problematic thing
alright. if you truly feel that this fanfiction is actively harmful and can't reach any kind of conclusion with the writer, and you want to warn others who might read the fic, then do that. do that. make a post that says hey guys btw, x thing in this fic is not a good representation/perpetuates a harmful stereotype/whatever the problem is. and leave it at that! you don't need to go further and insult the writing or the person who wrote it. that is helpful to exactly no one, and if your goal is actually to make the world a better place, then you should learn how to draw attention to an issue in a way that encourages actual dialogue instead of dog-piling and personal attacks.
anyway the next time you feel the desire to post about how bad you think a fic is, feel free to use this as a guide before u do! xoxo

Sunshine watched as Ghost led Lucid to the garden he had been secretly tending to.
Lucid had a blindfold covering his eyes, and Ghost led him by his hand, a soft and excited smile on his face.
"Okay, stop, we're here," Ghost said and let go of Lucids hand.
He stepped closer into Lucids personal space and took a few more seconds than necessary, staring at the smile on Lucids face before finally moving to remove the blindfold.
Sunshine couldn't blame Ghost, Lucid was very pretty with the blindfold on. Maybe Sunshine should ask Ghost to borrow it sometime...
Ghost walked around to stand behind Lucid and slowly undid the knot, pulling the blindfold off and stepping back.
The look of wonder and astonishment on Lucids face was a sight Sunshine wanted to burn into his brain.
Lucid looked back at Ghost for a second,"You... You did this? You made this garden?"
Ghost nods,"Do you like it?" He asks, slightly nervous. Ghost knew he shouldn't be nervous. He had spent months tending to the garden until he deemed it worth of Lucid. He knew it was good, and yet he was still nervous that somehow Lucid wouldn't like it.
Lucid tilts his head to the side and laughs softly before he takes a few steps, closing the distance between them. "I love it." Lucid says as he grabs Ghost face and kisses him.
Sunshine feels his lips twitch up at one side.
Lucid, let's go of Ghosts face slowly pulling back. Sunshine can see his lips moving, but he is too far away to hear it, then Lucid is spinning away from Ghost, reaching out to pull his hand and practically bouncing away to look at the gift he had just been bestowed, dragging Ghost along behind him.
Lucids eyes shone as he takes it all in.
How Ghost had managed to plant and maintain everything in such a hostile environment was a miracle to Lucid.
Lucid stops his boncing around at one particular flower bush. He stays completely still and gently lets go of Ghosts hand and lifts it out to the flower. When Lucid pulls back, Sunshine can see that a butterfly has landed on his finger.
Lucids turn around slowly and show the butterfly to Ghost,"Look," Lucid speaks softly, but even from Sunshines spot, he can tell how excited Lucid is.
"It's been so long since I last saw one." Lucid continues wistfully.
Ghost seems mesmerised by the insect. His mouth parted as he watched Lucid take the garden in.
"I've... I've never seen one." Ghost admits.
Lucids head turns from the butterfly on his finger to Ghost so fast Sunshine would be surprised if he didn't feel a little pain during the motion.
"Never?" He exclaims.
Ghost shakes his head,"I mean, I've seen photos before, but not like a real one, it's pretty."
Lucid looks back and forth between the butterfly sitting on his finger to Ghost. He moves his hand so it's directly in front of Ghosts face, but it's too quick for the butterfly and causes it to fly away.
Ghost smiles as Lucid smiles sheepishly,"Sorry, I scared it, and it flew off, I'll catch it again."
Before he can go after the butterfly, Ghost grabs Lucids wrist and shakes his head,"Don't worry about it." Ghost nods his head in a direction,"Come on this way."
Following along, Lucid eyes keep darting around every direction, still taking in the view.
When they stop, he looks up to see a tree. He tilts his head in question at Ghost, who laughs, before taking out a knife.
Lucid watched confused as Ghost started to carve into the tree.
"What are you..."
When Ghost pulls away, Lucid can see a heart with the letters 'G + L' inside.
"So this is where you disappeared too."
Turning away from the view below of Lucid pushing Ghost into the tree and kissing him, Sunshine sees Black walking towards him.
Sunshine grins at him,"Miss me?"
Black scoffs,"No."
Sunshine laughs to himself and gestures to the seat opposite himself. He looks back down at the other two for a brief moment. They were so caught up in each other that they had still yet to notice their audience.
Sunshine then turns his attention back to Black.
"You wound me." Sunshine places his elbows on the table and leans his head into his hands, pouting up at Black.
Black just stares unimpressed at him but does take the offered seat.
Black glances down at the two in the garden,"What are they- are they fucking in my garden?" Black exclaims.
Sunshine laughs.
"When I said he could do what he wanted with that wasteland eyesore, I didn't mean have sex in it!"
Sunshine pulls back and looks back down into the garden,"No? Should have specified then."
Black grumbles to himself for a minute, and when Sunshine notices him about to call out to the two, he stops him.
"Let them be."
Black glares at Sunshine,"If they want to fuck they can do it in private. Not where I can see."
Sunshine watches Black for a moment.
When he had first met him, he was just a spoiled rich kid who had their face, but now Sunshine could see he was so much more but he hid it behind his anger and coldness.
Black was lonely. That's why he let them stay.
"You don't need to be jealous." Sunshine stated, watching as Blacks eyes widened and he started going slightly red.
"Why would I- I'm not- They- You!"
Sunshine stands up and quickly leans across the table, cupping Blacks face with one hand and using the other to pull on Blacks tie and bring him closer. Sunshine kisses him forcefully.
How could he have let one of them feel lonely?
Black is too stunned to react at first, but then he pulls back and slaps Sunshine.
"Bastard!" Black yells before standing up and running away.
Sunshine watches him go. He brings his hand to his cheek and smiles.
When Black is entirely out of view, Sunshine turns back to the garden.
Ghost and Lucid staring up at him confused.
Sunshine waves his other hand down at them.
"Where's my initial?" He calls down.
"Come carve it yourself!" Lucid calls back holding the knife out as if Sunshine could reach it from where he was.

So I have a question to the Bowuigi fans who have an AU where Luigi and Bowser are married.
Is Luigi's title in your AU "King Consort Luigi" (where only Bowser has the actual power) or would he officially be an actual king just like Bowser (in that he would have as much power/rule as Bowser currently does)?
I've seen multiple different ideas (not just with Bowuigi) where Mario and Luigi are king consorts, but I don't know if there's an AU where Mario and Luigi are just "King Mario" and "King Luigi."

Okay, you know that scene in Catwoman v.1 where Selina begs Maggie to scream, cry, lash out, & curse her rather than turn to a darker version of herself?
I need you to understand that, if it were written with any sense of integrity, that would be the attitude Bruce has towards Jason post-resurrection. At least after becoming privy to the fact that Jason does not personally blame Bruce for his death.
In my opinion, Bruce would sell his arm for a penny on a streetcorner providing it gave Jason non-homicidal means of coping, for Jason to view him as responsible, as a second murderer. For him to curse "hereoism", & vigilantes, & the whole fucking lifestyle- decry it as an unbelievable farce & leave it all behind to go back to being Jason Todd of Crime Alley, who only did what he had to do to survive. Bruce would be so far beyond willing to carry that weight if it meant his boy would be off the track of his homicidally self-destructive rampage. If it meant Jason realizing he is more than just a revenant, that he is alive, that he can have a life.
The only way it makes any sense to me is if Bruce would accept, even embrace a world in which Jason views him as a horrible dad, an irredeemable piece of shit who is directly responsible for his murder, if it just meant that Jason did not have to utterly sacrafice his sense of humanity & compassion to make it through the world. He'd give near anything for it or it makes no sense. That's his son. His son who was dead but is now alive, for all he does not seem to grasp that himself.
Also he should have let Jason pop the clown. Not even for ethical reasons, but in the chase of giving Jason a chance at the realization in the world they do live in where Jason will not allow himself to view Bruce that way. Because he refuses to harm his son, or let him be taken in another explosion. Not when he just got him back, not when his son has not even gotten the chance to truly come back to life.
(I also think it would be a far more interesting jumping-off point post-utrh for Jason, but that's somewhat besides the point.)
#like when it's said bruce should be continually grieving for jason it shouldn't just be for robin jay but a jay who sees his value as a#human being rather than near-nothing more than a symbol of violent retribution.#and i stand by that.#but yeah this is also why i think the idea of Leslie being majorly involved in Jason's immediate post utrh arc would have been genius.#like she is literally the epitome of “i am going to critique vigilantism both politically & as a coping mechansim” in the bat mythos & more#over she would be Jason's ideological diometric opposite at that point as a pacifist & they have a history together meaning it would not#only be some who witnessed the climate of Gotham in the aftermath of his death but also someone who knew HIM before it. & like positioning#them as not neccessarily opposing sides while still being in conflict at first only for that to lead to development over time as jason heal#& WITH HER CONNECTION TO THE GOTHAM WORKING CLASS TO TOP IT OFF... we were robbed.#it also fits with my personal heavy insistence that Jason's healing arc have nothing to do with Bruce for like... a solid couple in-univers#years. it's important for jason to heal with agency & his own ideological growth & emotional reconciling.#bruce wayne#bruce & jason#dc#dc comics#jason todd#dc meta#batman meta#red hood
